= THINGS CHANGE PART 3 =

After the long run, the turtles eventually located the truck from the wide spaced alleyway between of apartment building and the old abandoned factory building with the loading dock with the wooden roof. The crooks parked their vehicle next to the stairs leading to the dock and every crook climbed out from the truck and headed inside of the factory.

They were welcomed by the four crooks similarly uncivilized clothing.

One of them was the group's biggest one and even more muscular than the tan-skinned one. He had dyed his face blue and he had the purple mohawk-like haircut atop of his head. He was dressed into the black shirt and green pants with double belt and purple braces. He also has the dragon on his pants.

Second one was a tall and tan-skinned one. He had the gray cargo pants, yellow, purple and white shirt with purple sleeves and the blood-red bandana wrapped around of the topside of his head, over which that punk wore the street cap backwards. His dragon was branded into front side of his shirt.

Third one was another African-American guy with the short black hair in dreadlocks and was wearing a lime green shirt and shorts with dragon branded to it.

And the last one had the orange and upright standing spiky haircut and small chin beard. He was dressed into a green shirt and gray jeans. He also had a black vests and green goggles around of his forehead. He had two dragons on his vests.

While rest of the crooks headed inside of the building, their leader turned to the fatso member of their group.

"Yo, Two Ton! Watch the truck. We wouldn't want somebody steal our stolen money. Boss wouldn't like it." The blue-haired guy said before heading inside.

"You got it, John." The fatso named Two Ton replied as he took out the huge baseball bat and began to encircle the truck.

The turtles witnessed this from the rooftop.

"Oh, great! Of course they needed to be smart enough to leave some guy on the watch." Arcee complained.

"So what, sis? It's just one cabinet-sized fatso and he's all alone against seven of us." Louie scoffed, as the turtle in black prepared to jump over the railing of the roof and head down to the alley. "This is going to be a peace of cake... for the assassin of the night." He added in dramatically deep voice.

However, he was suddenly held back by Dom, who held up his right arm in front of his brother to prevent him from going.

"Where you think you're going, bro?" Dom asked with suspicion.

"Just sneak behind of him and punch him to the right spot to knock him out cold. He'll never know what hit him before it's too late." Louie replied, pushing his brother's arm away.

However, Dom kept glaring at his brother strictly.

"Well, that didn't sound like that. Did those "assassin of the night" and "To the right spot" mean in your language to hit... or stab... that guy to somewhere that will end up fatally for him?" Dom questioned with the tone like he was accusing Louie for attempting to murder the crook in cold-blood.

Along with Don and Arcee, Dom was the turtle that despised the violence and even more unnecessary killing, especially if it was in the form of assassination in cold blood.

Louie took somewhat shocked and hurt look on his faces.

"Are you accusing me of planning of killing that guy in cold-blood, Dom? You? My own brother?" The turtle in black hurtfully - yet dramatically - questioned.

"You sounded very much like you were intending to do that right away." Dom replied sternly.

Louie then switched from hurt and dramatic attitude into a arguable one. "Hey, I was just joking with that "assassin of the night" thing. Besides, who here even spoke of anything about assassinating that guy? All what I was going to do was to knock the lights out from him, not to stab him from behind nor to break his neck, if that's what you thought me planning to do! I know that I've always wanted to beat up a lots of bad guys, but even I wouldn't go that far, unless..."

"Unless WHAT? Unless otherwise there's some exceptions? Loopholes? reasonable reasons to do it? Was that what you were gonna say?" Dom said accusingly.

"Lorenzo! Domenico! Continue arguing over this matter later. And first of all, we're not gonna do anything like that to anybody. We just knock him out cold and that's it! Am I clear?" Leo demanded strictly as the turtle in blue came in between of his arguing brothers.

"Don't blame me, Leo. That paranoid shell-for-brains is upon on me again." Louie complained while pointing an accusing finger at Dom.

"Whom you're calling 'paranoia', Louie?!" Dom shot back with the glare.

"GUYS! I think that we have a much more important things to do than your argument about how we should do things, such like freeing Raphael from that truck. So can we please focus on our mission?" Mary lectured.

Though shooting daggers into each others eyes with the hard glares, Louie and Dom reluctantly agreed to put their argument aside for now.

"Alright, but you guys better put someone else on the mission of dealing with the guard." Dom said strictly to Leo and Mary, earning an annoyed growl from Louie.

However, before Leo or Mary could say anything to that, Mikey was suddenly the next one to open his mouth to voice something what he had in mind.

"Actually, I got an idea. It may go against of Master Splinter's direct orders but if it is the only way in this situation, then..." Mikey said, but before he could finish and before anybody could either question or protest his idea what he hadn't even explained yet, Mikey suddenly jumped over the railing and off the rooftop down to the alley.

Under the cover of darkness, Mikey stealthily climbed down along the fire escape, keeping his eyes in the guard all of time. On his way down, he spotted and snatched an empty beer can from the open window as if finding some use for it.

After reaching to the fire escape's lowest platform and climbing down its ladders, Mikey jumped off it and landed with the quiet thud to the loading dock's roof. He remained there in crouched position and quietly still in case the guard had heard his landing to the loading dock's roof.

However, as the guard appeared from behind of the truck and walked in front of the truck's back doors, he did not look alerted at all and he did not seem to be suspicious of the fact that he was being watched from the shadows.

The other turtles followed his proceed with their eyes from the rooftop.

"What he is doing?" Arcee questioned.

"Hopefully not something stupid... or worse, something very embarrassing." Dom said with the facepalm.

As the guard stopped to stand still and turned to look towards the alleyway's entrance, still unaware of Mikey's presence, the turtle in orange then threw the can in his hand to the other side of the armored truck.

The guard's attention was immediately caught by the sound of the can hitting to the tarmac in the other side of the truck and he went to investigate in case there was any unwanted snooper sneaking around. And as the guard's attention was elsewhere for a moment, Mikey seized the opportunity and jumped quietly off the roof to the ground and sneaked behind of the thug.

"Probably some blasted alley cat." The thug muttered to himself after detecting no one from the behind of the truck.

Mikey then tapped with the fingertip to the thug's shoulder, gaining his attention and he turned to stare at Mikey's shadowy figure.

"Hey, pal. This is no-parking zone." Mikey said to the thug.

The thug was surprised of Mikey's shadowed figure's shape, though he didn't entirely saw Mikey's true humanoid turtle form.

"Wha-? What the hell are you?!" The bewildered thug asked.

"Let us say, pal, I'm midnight meter-maid." Mikey replied as he held up the small paper note. "Here's your ticket and here's your FINE!"

Mikey then kicked the thug right in the chest, sending him to slam against the back doors of the van, knocking him out cold.

The other turtles then joined him once the guard was down and out.

"Ha! That was a sweet kick, bro!" Arcee commented as she landed on her feet to the ground.

"Nice work, Michelangelo." Leo praised the younger turtle with the smile.

Mikey, blushing at his brother's and sister's compliment, merely shrugged,.

"Oh, please. That wasn't nothing. Just a ninja-thing." Mikey said with the grin while rest of the turtles landed down. "Besides, someone needs to take care of parking."

Louie went next the unconscious thug and observed him a little, and he scoffed like out of disappointment. "Ha! Looks like these thugs aren't as tough than what they look like after all. As I told you, this was a piece of cake." The turtle in black remarked.

Mary was the next one to open her mouth. "Guys, rest of them probably heard that, so we need to do this quickly and then vanish."

Leo nodded in agreement. "Mary is right. Let's get Raph out of there and get the shell out of here."

All seven turtles turned their attentions to the van's back doors and the door's lock, while Raph was banging the doors from inside.

Mikey groaned after they found out that the lock in the van's back doors was electronic lock that who required the code to open the doors.

"Man! Whatever happened to the good old-fashioned padlocks?" the turtle in orange complained.

"Ha! Where's the fun in that?" Donnie scoffed with the grin as the brainy turtle dug the pair of screwdrivers and goggles out of his bag, twirling the screwdrivers in his hands for a moment. "Move aside, ladies and boys. This is my territory."

Putting the goggles on, Donnie get to work with the electronic lock to disable it, while Raph kept banging the doors.

"GET ME OUT OF HERE! GET ME OUT OF HERE!" Raph kept shouting, though the back doors' windows muffled his speech to the point that no one outside couldn't understand even a single syllable.

While watching Raph pounding on the door and trying to say something through the door's window with the muffled speech, Mikey couldn't resists the temptation to get under of his brother's skin. Just like every time he gets the opportunity to it. And such of opportunity was now when they were separated by the locked doors.

"What's that, Raphael?" Mikey asked, flapping his hands by his ears. "You're gonna have to speak up, dude. I can't hear you!" Mikey teased with the teasing voice wile grinning widely and pointing his ear holes.

Mikey's teasing got Raph seeing red in a critical level, that the turtle in red began to angrily bang and even kick the doors even harder to get to his annoying brother.

Even Mikey realized that he was going a bit too far and nervously ceased teasing his trapped brother in fear for the well-being of his own skin.

"Okay, okay! I heard that."

Raph wasn't the only turtle under of whose skin Mikey's teasing started to get.

"Shut the shell up, Mikey! I'm trying to work here!" Donnie said with annoyed scowl, before the brainy turtle resumed his work.

5-10 minutes later.

After tinkering with the wires of the lock for 5-10 minutes, Donnie tried the "hot wire" to the lock's system. When he tested two wires together, the connection caused the spark to come out of them and the lock started beeping. Donnie smirked, knowing that he had finally managed to pass the lock's code system and the doors opened slightly.

"Alright, Raph. You can come out now. It's open." Donnie said as he stepped aside, removing his goggle from his head.

Mikey went in front of the opened doors, spreading his arms like welcoming Raph into the welcoming hug.

"Hey, Raph. Welcome ba-." Mikey didn't get a chance to finish what he was about to say when Raph - definitely not in the happy reunion mood but instead in the "pummeling a certain super-annoying brother" mood - dived through of the truck's back doors and lunged at Mikey, tackling him over to the ground and started to wrestling with him, delivering several punches on his brother.

The other turtles looked at the wrestling turtles in annoyance and embarrassment for their brothers' behavior.

"What a hot-head." Leo muttered.

"Should we have let him to cool down first before letting him out? What do you think, Leo?" Mary asked.

Leo merely shrugged his shoulders.

Mikey yelped in pain as Raph kept pummeling him. One such of loud-sounding punch made Louie to wince with the smirk.

"Yeouch! That gotta hurt!" The turtle in black remarked, before he nudged Dom in the arm with his elbow. "And yet you accuse me to be the violent one, Dom. Why don't you say the same thing to Raph?" He teased smugly.

Dom scowled at his brother because of that.

However, before Dom could reply, Arcee alerted the guys about something.

"Uh, Leo? Mind to check the entrance of the alley?" Arcee said with uncomfortable feeling.

Leo, Mary, Donnie, Louie and Dom turned their attentions to the entrance of the alley and all of them saw exactly what Arcee had detected/sensed.

They all sensed it to be a threat and one by one the turtles draw out their weapons and backed away from the truck.

"Uh… Raph?" Donnie started, holding his Bo staff in his hands.

"Would you kindly quit pummeling Mikey for a moment, please?" Mary asked, holding her Naginata's blade pointed at the entrance of the alley.

"We don't have time for this!" Leo said, squeezing his grip tighter of his Katana's handle.

Raph had in this point pinned Mikey against one of the dock's roof's support beam.

"And why not?" He questioned.

"Because we're not alone." Mikey replied while pointing towards the entrance of the alley.

Raph released his brother and looked at the entrance of the alley as well.

The entrance of the alley was blocked by the owners of the truck. All ten thugs armed with the baseball bats, crowbars, chains, staves, pipes, knives and one of them was wielding even a handgun. The thug whom Mikey had earlier knocked out earlier was among of them. He had most likely woke up during of Donnie working with the van's doors lock and sneaked away to alert his buddies about their presence.

And now, as the full moon above of them illuminated the dark alley, they all saw them clearly. But rather than surprised of the turtles' physical appearances, they merely saw them as if they were some punks in a ridiculous costumes and started to insult them rudely.

"Hey, dudes! Look at the freaks!"

"What's with the dweeby costumes?"

"This ain't even Halloween!

"And we ain't offering any candy!"

"You snoopers are in big trouble!"

"You're all dead, freaks!"

As the thugs approached, the turtles lined up next to the van, taking the defensive stance.

However, Dom then stepped forward, holding his hands up defensively and gesturing the thugs to calm down.

"Alright, take it easy, boys. We come in peace and we do not mean any harm. Step back and we'll be on our way and nobody gets hurt." Dom said calmly like he was talking for the entire group, trying to stop something from happening before the situation gets out of control.

"Seriously, dude?! You and your diplomacy!" Louie snarled between of his teeth.

However, the blue-haired leader of the thugs nodded to one of his gang's member with the handgun, who then fired the shot at Dom' feet.

"WHOA!" Dom let out a yelp as the bulled bounced off the ground right in front of him and the turtle in white hurriedly backed away, retreating back to his siblings.

"OH MY GOSH! THESE BOYS ARE PLAYING WITH GUNS!" Dom squealed like a girl from the shock of being just shot at with the gun.(1)

"So much for diplomacy of yours, Dom." Louie said sarcastically.

"In case you didn't know, this is the Purple Dragons' turf, losers!" Their leader, John, said as he draw out the long staff and spun it in front of him before pulling it sideways behind of his back. "And nobody trespasses on Purple Dragons' territory and leaves to tell a tale… especially when they're wearing stupid turtle costumes!"

"Costumes, eh? We ain't wearing any costumes." Arcee argued.

"Tell that to them, sis." Raph said.

"Get them, boys. Have them beaten up to the condition that they no longer dare to get up on their feet." the leader ordered and the thugs started to approach the turtles.

This was the last straw to the turtles, prompting them to the counter-attack.

Donnie, gritting his teeth, began to spin his Bo-staff around in his right side and then in front of him. He then whipped it in front of him, before he jumped up into a barrel roll, swinging his staff skillfully and swiftly around of himself before he scrubbed one end of the staff along the ground on landing.

Dom pulled out his twin Tonfā and spun them around for a moment before the turtle in white swung them from side to side and back, making the wooden hafts of the weapons to rap against each others for three times with loud "KLAK!" "TSAK!" and "KLAP!" sounds. Dom then turned around to his right and spinning around he swung his left hand's Tonfa in horizontal arch forward, before the turtle in white spun around again and shot his right hand's Tonfa straight forward with the swift pull, before he halted his attack like to the wall and maintained this stance.

Mikey, while grinning, took out his Nunchucks and spun them wildly around as he spun himself around, before swinging the ends of his weapons under of his armpits.

Arcee pulled out her Tessens and, holding one in front of her face and the second one in her left, opened them and began to perform with deep concentration several skilled kata moves and stances of Tessenjutsu, swinging both her razor-sharp weapons gracefully to back and forward and from side to another while repeatedly closing and re-opening her weapons, till she finished by holding her arms and opened Tessens out at the street thugs.

Raph brought out one of his Sais and began to spin it around. He then pulled out his another Sai and began to spin it around too, before he jumped up, spun around and made a kick move with his left leg. Raph then landed back to the ground with his left leg bent under him and right leg stretched out behind of him, while holding his left hand's Sai right next to his head and his right hand's Sai high in the air.

Louie then pulled his Butterfly Swords out of their scabbards in his chest, making their blades' sharp edges to rub against each other in the process, creating both the arching lines of sparks and the brief but a high-pitched and chills giving SCREECH! Louie then spun his short swords around in his hands for a moment before he back flipped sideways in the air. And as he landed with his shell-back turned to the thugs, he turned around with nearly lightning fast motion and stretched out both his right hand and leg forward while bending his left leg under him and lifting his left hand over his head, pointing with both his swords at the thugs.

Leo held with his right hand his Katana in front of his face, before he did the slice move forward, then brought out his other Katana with his left hand and did the same. Leo then did a few more slicing moves. The turtle in blue then waved his Katanas wildly around while spinning around, and then he locked them into a X position in front of his face.

Mary spun her Naginata around with both hands while moving her weapon from her right in front of her and then to her left. Mary then spun herself around before jumping into the air and moved with her left hand her Naginata, while still spinning it around, from her right side over her head before she grabbed from the weapon's haft with both hands and brought it hard down (slicing the screen in two in the process).

"LeeeeEEEET'S TURTLEIZE THEM!" All eight turtles shouted at the same time when they leaped to attack the Purple Dragons.(2)

"MEAN IN GREEN, HALLELUJAH!" Louie added loudly.

Donnie attacked the blue-haired thug in the group's left flank. The thug attempted to swing his chain at him but the turtle in purple dodged under it easily before he whacked with his staff to the backside of the thug's hand, making him yelp in pain and to drop the chain. Donnie then spun around before he swept the legs off from under of the thug with one powerful swing of his Bo-staff from left to right, sending the defeated thug to fly aside.

Dom faced in defense-mode the Cap-headed thug from the right and Green-shirt thug from the left, blocking with his Tonfās several of their attacks with the pipes they wielded as their weapons while backing off step by step, letting the thugs to know that they had the upper hand. However, with the good opportunity at hand, Dom switched his hold of his Tonfās by tossing them in the air and grabbing them from their hafts. Then he swung both his arms to the opposite sides and locked Tonfās' handles around of the thugs out-stretched arms wrists, before the turtle in white pulled with "YAA!" cry his arms back, causing his weapons to pull the thugs by their arms into each other, knocking their heads together and each other out cold.

Mikey instantly ran towards the big and muscular blue-faced thug with a red Mohawk, whom prepared to engage Mikey in close combat. However, with the "HYAH!" cry, Mikey jumped into the air, flew towards the thug, extended his right leg forward and kicked the thug in the face, sending the Blue-Face flying on his stomach to the ground.

The Shortie thug charged towards Arcee, But Arcee crossed her Tessens-holding arms into a X in front of her before she pulled her arms back, slicing the Shortie's long pipe into three pieces, causing surprised thug to back off. Arcee then put her Tessens away and flipped onto her hands to the ground, before flipping herself up and towards the Shortie and kicked him with both of her feet to the chest, sending the Shortie thug flying over to the ground.

Raphael immediately attacked the Fatso thug, who in return attempted to whack the turtle in red with his bat. However, Raph blocked some of thug's attacks with his Sai before he disarmed him by capturing his weapon between his Sais guards (Yoku) and twisting the thug's wrist painfully to make him to release the hold of his weapon. With his opponent disarmed, Raph jumped up, spun around and delivered with his left leg a direct kick to the Fatso's faces... again.

The orange-haired Spiky-head with the handgun immediately fired the several shots at Louie, but the turtle in black managed to stay a one-couple steps ahead of each shot, making the thug to miss him with every shot. Louie advanced his opponent by zig-zagging around before leaping up into the air and curling into a turtle-ball as he flew over the thug's head. The turtle in black then uncurled himself as he landed between of the thug with the gun and Redhead thug who was standing behind of him. Without wasting time as the Spiky-head was about to turn around to shoot him, Louie turned around as well and jumped over the thug and wrapped his legs around of his head before flipping backwards and sending the thug flying into the Redhead thug, knocking them both to the ground.

Leo leaped towards the Disco-haired African-American thug, with his Katana-holding arms spread to wide. As he landed in front of the thug, Leo swung his Katanas from side to side and then back, slicing the thug's staff into several pieces before he delivered one devastating kick into the thug's chest, knocking him down and out.

Mary went for the leader of the thugs, spinning her Naginata with her left hand while moving it from her right side over her head before she grabbed from her weapon with both hands and brought it hard down on John, who raised his own staff up in defensive position to block Mary's attack. Mary then swiftly halted her attack from above and instead pulled it back and struck with her weapon's blunt end to the thug leader's stomach, making him let out a pained groan "UGH!" from impact before he bent over in pain. Mary then finished him with the snappy snap kick with her right leg into John's faces, sending the thug flying with the backward somersault in the mid-air before he landed on his stomach to the ground.

The fight was over within 30 seconds, with all ten thugs, John including, lying defeated in the ground.

Slowly recovering from Mary's attack, John lifted his head up and saw all eight grinning turtles who stood triumphantly over his defeated gang and against the moonlight: Donnie and Mary were standing in front, with Mikey and Louie behind of them, spinning wildly their Nunhucks and Butterfly swords in their hands. Raph and Dom stood in their right side while Leo and Arcee stood in their left side while holding their weapons up and glaring down on the thugs.

John looked frantically around, trying to find one of his men's gun. When he finally saw his, he began in the verge of panic to crawl towards it so that he could use it against the turtles, only for Mary to land her Naginata's blade down in front of the gun just at the moment the thug leader was about to reach to it with his hand, barely missing his fingers tips.

"Don't even think about it, blue-boy." the turtle in turquoise warned with deep and calm voice.

John yelped in shock and pulled his hand instantly back, retorting from his attempt to reach for the gun. The thug leader then started to crawl backwards in panic, trying to get away from the turtles while staring at them in fear.

"Who... who... who... who are you?!" He asked frantically, now fully aware that the turtles standing in front of him weren't the regular people in turtle-costumes but a real living beings who meant business.

Louie then stepped forward. "Just eight brothers and sisters of New York whose presence knows the inevitable punishment for anyone who dares to drift to the path of crime." The turtle in black said, before he roughly grabbed with both hands from the thug's jacket before the turtle in black bodily lifted him off the ground.

"NO, NO, NO! PLEASE! PLEASE! DON'T HURT ME! PLEASE!" John pathetically pleaded as Louie brought him up to the face-level.

"Don't worry, big boy. We won't hurt you more than that." Louie said with the fake comforting voice, till he switched it into dramatically deep and dead-serious, sounding almost like a Batman. "But next time if we catch you from preying on the innocent citizens in this side of the city, we'll do far more worse than this. Trust me."

John gulped nervously, before Louie shoved him to the ground.

Leo then stepped forward. "You heard my, brother. Now, be gone!" the turtle in blue demanded, pointing with his sword over the thug at the entrance of the alley.

"Unless you're up for a round TWO, blue-head." Raph added with the smirk, before he playfully tossed his Sai at John and it flew in between of the his legs, making the thug leader shriek like a frightened girl at this. "We're more than glad to bring it to you."

Whimpering in fear, John hurriedly got up from the ground and ran out of the alley to the streets.

"LET'S GET OUT OF HERE!" He called out to his buddies as they started to recover from the turtles attacks and get up from the ground.

The rest of the gang couldn't agree more with their leader and they instantly followed him out of the alley, whimpering at the same time as they escaped.

"Yeah! That's right! You better run, you losers!" Louie taunted after them.

"And don't come back!" Arcee called after them.

"High-three, Raphie-boy!" Mikey exclaimed, before he and Raph high-threed with each other.

"Well, Louie. It's seems that you were right after all. That's was a lot of easier than I expected." Donnie admitted.

"Told you, bro." Louie nodded to the turtle in purple.

"Yeah, but ten was too low number for my taste. I wished that there would have been more of those guys. I was just getting a warmed up." Raph stated.

However, before the turtles could celebrate their rather easy victory over the street thugs, Mikey suddenly spotted the ominous-looking shadows appearing to the ground. The turtle in orange turned around and gulped as he saw a silhouetted figures appearing to the edge of the rooftops above of them, standing against the moon.

"Uh... well. It looks like that were about to get your wish right away, Raphie-Boy. LOOK! UP THERE!" Mikey warned, pointing up to the roofs where the ominous figures were staring down at them.

"Whoa! Who are those guys?" Mary exclaimed in shock.

"Are those guys... ninjas?" Leo asked, shocked as well and taking notice of the figures night-black outfits and masks that covered their heads.

The figures suddenly jumped off the rooftop and fell into the alley, landing into the large ring of forty guys that surrounded the turtles.

In the moonlight, they gave to the turtles a clear picture of themselves: Each one of them having dressed into the identical black suit, wearing the whole head covering masks on their heads and wearing the gray vests with the pointed shoulder pads. They also had in their chests a strange-looking symbol that resembled the blood-red three-toed foot.

"Well, they're certainly ninja-esque." Mikey said nervously.

"And yet I thought that we were the only ninjas in this city." Donnie commented.

"So did I, Donnie. Well, at least we're the only ninja turtles." Arcee replied.

As the ninjas approached the turtles from all sides, Leo, Mary and Dom were the first ones to take stances.

"Be ready for anything!" Leo warned his brothers and sisters.

"Ninja-vs-ninja, eh? Good!" Louie replied. "Time to put our years of ninja-training to the REAL test against the worthy opponents."

"You said it, bro." Raph said, more than just pleased of the situation. "I'm SO gonna enjoy this."

Donnie made the first move. The brainy turtle charged at the bunch of ninjas before he struck his Bo-staff down and pole-vaulted out of the ring, landing on one bent knee behind of the ninjas while holding his staff sideways against his shell. The turtle in purple then swiftly spun himself around and tripped the several ninjas off their feet with his staff, before he stood back up. Two more ninjas attacked Donnie but Donnie dealt them with apparent ease by blocking a couple strikes with his Bo before he smacked the first one with Katana to the chest and tripped the second one off his feet, making him fall over the ground.

"Ha haa!" Donnie cheered, though his victory was short lived when the ninjas quickly jumped back up on their feet to face Donnie again, much to his surprise.

Dom was facing off with two ninjas with their Kusarigamas. Both ninjas threw their weapons' weighted chains towards Dom and managed to wrap them around of the turtle's wrists, pulling him by force towards them and prepared to finish him off with their Kamas' sickle-blades. However, using this as his advantage, Dom unexpectedly sprinted towards the surprised ninjas and front flipped forward to deliver a kick with both of his legs into each ninja's chests, knocking them over to the ground, only for them to soon after jump back on their feet to face Dom again.

"Okay. This is not quite as easy as it first seemed." The turtle in white mumbled worriedly.

Elsewhere, Raph got surrounded by three ninjas, two on each side of him and one behind of his shell. They had no weapons, but despite that they started immediately unleash a series of punches and kicks on the turtle in red from all three sides at the same time, though Raph was able to dodge and block most of them with ease.

"Nice dragon-kick! Sweet double-phoenix-bunch!" Raph commented the ninjas' techniques as he kept dodging them.

"Hey! You guys know this one? YAA!" the turtle in red let out as he sent the kick at each ninja into the chest with one swift spin-kick technique.

Louie found himself surrounded by five ninjas armed with Ninjatō-swords who immediately engaged the turtle in black in the five-sided sword-fight. The turtle in black put everything he got into the game as he fended off the ninjas' incoming and repeating attacks from each five directions with his Butterfly swords. Even though it was five-on-one, Louie held impressively well his ground against all five ninjas, though he got several small cuts from their blades to his arms, shoulders and even sides.

"My congratulations, guys! You're pretty good with this! But still predictable just like those earlier guys." Louie commented.

Then, with "HAI YAA!" cry, the turtle in black spun around and swung both his Butterfly swords in horizontal arches towards the ninjas, slicing their sword blades in half or from their blades, disarming them. Louie then discarded his own swords to the ground, spun around and jumped up into the air, sending a right straight punch into one ninja's face on his left and kick with his right leg into the second ninja's chest on his right, knocking both of them to the ground. Third ninja then attempted to attack Louie by delivering the spin kick with his left foot, but the turtle in black managed to seize the ninja's leg with his bare hands before bodily lifting the ninja off the ground, swinging him around of himself and finally tossing him into his two remaining comrades, knocking them against the nearby wall.

Louie then picked his Butterfly swords up, before lifting both his hands up. "That was too easy! Will you guys try harder, please?! I'm getting seriously bored here!" The turtle in red exclaimed, nearly bored. However, his request was soon granted when the ninjas got back up to their feet to face him, joined by five other ninjas as a reinforcements.

However, Louie merely smirked at this as he spun his swords in his hands. "That's more like it! Thanks, guys. And a moment ago I thought this would have ended up to be childishly easy."

Arcee, meanwhile, fought by following 'disarm and attack' technique while moving from first opponents to another among of the large group of ninjas armed with Ninjatō-swords and staves. One by one, Arcee sliced with her Tessens the first ninja's staff into three pieces before she gave a direct kick to the first one's stomach. Then she ducked under of the next ninja's attempt swing of his sword aimed to her head and swept the legs off from under him. Then she sliced two ninjas' blades off their swords from beneath of the blades' guards, totally disarming them before she spun around and hook-kicked third and fourth ninja in their chests at the same time. And finally, she blocked with her Tessens the fifth's ninja's sword attack from above and pulled her right leg up into a snap-kick that she aimed under of the ninja's chin, knocking him away.

Elsewhere, Leo clashed with one ninja swordsman. After blocking his Katana's blade with one of his own and struggling briefly with the ninja with their sword blades locked with each other, Leo quickly dispatched him by turning around, moving to behind of the ninja and elbowed him to the back. Leo them back flipped onto the roof over the factory building's loading dock, to where ninjas followed him.

First one that got to the roof hopped onto the wall and began ran along it towards Leo to attack him from above with his Katana. When the ninja was close enough, he attempted strike Leo with his sword but he blocked it with his own. The ninja then ran past him before he jumped off the wall and landed onto the roof on Leo's left side and was almost right after joined by second ninja that hopped onto the roof on the turtle in blue's right side.

There was a brief stand-off situation, in which both Leo and the ninjas stared at each other, studying their opponents while holding their swords up and maintaining their battle-ready stances. The turtle in blue tried to read them from their stances and movements and anticipate their incoming techniques while preparing himself for two-on-one combat.

The ninjas then attacked him all at once. At first Leo fared well in exchanging several blows with both of them, until the ninjas doubled they efforts against him. Leo tried his best to fend them off with his own swordsman's skills, but these ninjas' own swordsman's skills put Leo - who was the most disciplined and determined student thus highly skilled of all his siblings - into a real trouble. It was obvious that these two had either equally long training history as he had or maybe even longer. The ninjas then locked their blades with his own and and put their hands onto their blades and began to push Leo's swords down with theirs. The turtle in blue groaned and grit his teeth as he struggled with all his strength to hold them both back.

Elsewhere, Mary found herself from the staff-fight against four ninjas with the staves. Though Mary managed to block with her Naginata's haft or duck under of several incoming attacks coming from all four sides alternately, the ninjas eventually managed to corner her to the alley's corner. However, Mary managed to escape from the corner by back flipping onto and then bouncing off the wall behind of her, landing behind of the ninjas' backs. Before her opponents could turn around and re-engage her, Mary spun around and swung her Naginata towards their legs, managing to swept all but one's legs off from under them and making them fall over to the ground. The fourth, however, managed to jump over Mary's Naginata and before Mary could react, the ninja spun around in the air and sent the kick into turtle in turquoise's face, knocking her back.

Mikey found himself wrestling with the ninja armed with his own pair of Tonfas. The ninja repeatedly blocked Mikey's own attempts to strike him with his wildly spinning Nunchucks while delivering even harder strikes back on him with his Tonfas. Another ninja then, armed with a single Tonfa, jumped behind of Mikey and tried to send a kick on him, but Mikey dodged under of it and briefly turned to his new attacked to strike him back, only his blow to be blocked by the new ninjas' Tonfa as well. The attack from two sides forced the turtle in orange to withdraw from his attack mode and switch into the self-defense mode, as he tried his best to fend the ninjas off from both sides.

Arcee meanwhile came face to face with some ninjas armed with bows and with arrows on their strings. The ninja archers lifted their bows up, quickly aimed at the turtle in pink, pulled the strings back and then fired their arrows as the small volley directly towards her at the same time!

"Whoa!" Arcee screamed in alarm and, relying on her instincts, she began to move her Tessen-holding arms as fast as she could to fend off the incoming arrows. Many arrows either bounced off or broke from the middle from the impact to the turtle in pink's Tessens flat sides or were sliced/knocked from the mid-air before they could reach and hit her anywhere in the areas of her head, upper body and legs. However, while slicing the arrows and knocking them off the air, Arcee failed to notice one ninja falling towards her from above while spinning the staff above his head. And when Arcee finally noticed the ninja after fending off most of the volley, it was too late for her to do anything else before the ninja pulled his staff hard down on her head.

Meanwhile, some ninjas that were fighting Dom suddenly threw towards him several bolas from everywhere that wrapped around of Dom' upper body, tying him up tightly and leaving him defenseless. At least three ninjas seized this opportunity and delivered all together the triple kick into Dom's chest from above.

Donnie was meanwhile still wrestling the two same ninjas, who just did not want to stay on the ground, no matter how many times Donnie had to beat them up. The ninjas then threw the pair of Shurikens (The throwing stars) at Donnie, which the brainy turtle managed to catch with the middle part of his staff after lifting it up in sideways. But before the turtle in purple could react, one of the ninjas lunged at him from above and delivered the fierce kick right into his chest, sending the brainy turtle flying hard against the armored truck's doors.

Donnie was joined by Mikey, Arcee and Dom, all of whom had just recently got their shells kicked and were sent flying against the side of the truck, next to the turtle in purple.

"Okay. This doesn't look going very well for us." Arcee commented as she knelt next to Dom and proceed to cut the few Bolas' ropes that still kept the turtle in white tightly tied up, freeing her brother and held out her hand to help him back up.

"No kidding, sis." Dom said, as he accepted Arcee's help and allowed her to pull him up.

"Yeah. Hey, Donnie? Are we the ones of winning or getting beaten up?" Mikey asked from Donnie.

Donnie, Arcee and Dom stared at their brother with the dumbfounded looks on their faces, finding his recent question ridiculous at this very moment.

However, before they could reply, both Donnie and Dom gasped in shock and horror!

"GET COVER!" Donnie warned as he pulled the truck's door open and dived inside the cabin, pulling Mikey and Arcee inside as well and closing the door while Dom hurriedly dived to the ground and covered his head with his arms.

The turtles in purple, orange, pink and white narrowly avoided the dense volley of the throwing stars and the arrows that flew towards them and hit to the door.

"You gotta be joking, Mikey!" Arcee screamed hysterically as the turtles stepped out from the truck's cabin.

"Wanna ask me that one again WHEN we're actually winning, Mikey?" Donnie suggested, not even trying to hide his annoyance towards his little brother's antics due to the pressure of the fight.

Mikey felt the shivers running along his spine when he stared at the throwing stars' sharp-edged and -pointed blades shining in the moonlight.

"Yeah. That's what I thought." Mikey gulped.

Trivia

(1) Reference to Donatello's frantic cry "OH MY GOSH, THEY HAVE GUNS!" from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2014 film.

(2) This battle cry of the turtles was actually first heard from the later episode "Darkness of the Edge of Town", but I decided to make it the turtles' common battle cry in my story.
