=Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2003=
=Attack of the Mousers Part 2=

Much later, Mikey was still lying on the sun lounger and listening the groovy tones from his MP3 player via the ear phones, while tapping his chest with his hand to the rhythm of the music. It was until Raph walked next to him.

"Hey!" Raph said, trying to get Mikey's attention. However, Mikey didn't respond to him as the turtle in orange was too caught to the music he was listening.

So Raph attempted yet again to get his brother attention... but a bit louder this time.

"HEY! EARTH FOR MIKEY!" Raph shouted, and delivered a small smack onto top of Mikey's head, snapping the turtle in orange out of it.

"Ow! What?" Mikey exclaimed as he took out his ear phones and turned to Raph, annoyed that his hotheaded brother had interrupted his relaxing moment.

"You asked somebody to wake you up once she wakes up. Didn't you?" Raph asked and, without letting Mikey to reply, he continued. "Well, she woke up already. Leo made her some tea and she's ready to consider that we MIGHT be real."

Mikey was overjoyed by these news.

"AWESOMELY RADICAL, DUDE!" The turtle in orange cheered in joy, making Raph laugh at him sarcastically.

"Trust me, bro. You keep talkin' like that, she's gonna pass out again." Raph said teasingly as he left from Mikey's side.

"Hey!" Mikey said offended.

Elsewhere, Mary had went next to her sister, who was still meditating next to her record player.

The turtle in pink stood still in her meditation pose, eyes closed, breathing softly in and out and without moving a single muscle, while her record player played another relaxing number.

She was so focused in her meditation that Mary almost had no heart to disturb her and wanted simply just leave her alone. But because Master Splinter wanted the entire family to the family meeting at the entertainment zone, Mary forced herself to kneel next to Arcee's record player and turned the music off.

Once the music was off, Arcee's eyes shot wide open as the turtle in pink snapped out of the trance of her meditation and turned to her record player, seeing that somebody had turned the record off.

"Hey! Who killed the tune?!" the irritated turtle in pink asked as she looked up at Mary.

"Sorry to bother you like this, sister, but Master Splinter wants everybody to the entertainment zone for the family meeting."

Arcee groaned in anguish. She truly hated the family meetings(1), because once such of meeting had been ordered, everybody were forced to put all entertaining and relaxing aside during of those meetings... which were in addition of everything boringly and unbearably long lasting events. And not the mention about the arguments that easily broke out between the family members during the family meetings.

"What is it this time?" Arcee asked with bored tone.

"It's about that lady." Mary replied, referring April, which swiftly snapped Arcee out from her annoyed mood.

"So she woke up?" Arcee asked, earning a positive nod from Mary.

"Yep. She woke up a moment ago. And guess what. She's far more easier with us this time: Not freaking out anymore at the sight of us and even starting to consider us as REAL." Mary informed with the smile.

"Well, that's a good reason enough to interrupt my meditation, sis." Arcee said as Mary stood up and offered her hand to help her up, which the turtle in pink accepted and the turtle in turquoise pulled her sister to her feet.

"At least as long as she does not end up hitting me again and calling me a freak." the turtle in pink added, still a bit offended about that earlier between of her and April.

The turtle girls then turned around and headed towards the entertainment area, where the others had gathered.

###

Back in the couch, Leo had brought some hot tea in the cup and handed it over to April.

"Here. Drink it." turtle in blue said with gentle tone.

April took the cup from Leo's hands and thanked the turtle in blue with the grateful nod, before she lifted the cup up and drank some of it down.

And as she was drinking the tea, the rest of the turtles showed up.

"So, you okay now?" Mikey asked politely.

April nodded. "Yes, thanks." April replied politely this time.

Arcee then spoke next as she walked next to Mikey, gaining April's attention.

"Well, that's good to hear." she said sweetly. "Look, miss, if I speak for my entire family now... sorry about the earlier. We didn't mean to scare you like that. We just haven't used to talk the humans in person like this, especially when we know all too well what do we look like in your eyes. 'Freaks', you know?"

April nodded, understanding.

"It's okay, and I'm sorry too about that. It's just... I've been still thinking of all of this and I've finally decided that this is either a very long dream that I keep not waking up from, or it's the weirdest thing that ever happened to me." April said.

Sitting in the armchair that was placed in front of the couch and April, Splinter opened his mouth to speak before any other turtle in the presence could say anything else.

"Young woman. April O'neil, wasn't it?" Splinter started with April's name, which April confirmed with the nod before Splinter continued. "My name is Splinter, and we have something most important to discuss."

"What?" April questioned.

Splinter immediately went down to business.

"We have never before revealed ourselves to the upper world. You have placed all of us in great danger." Splinter explained, gesturing himself by placing his hand over his chest and then waving his hand at his sons and daughters around them.

Dom, who was leaning on his arms to the left corner of the armchair's back, opened his mouth to speak. "All he means is that now that you've seen us and know about us, he's afraid of what kind of consequences this might have for us, Ms. O'Neil." the turtle in white explained shortly.

Leo, who was sitting on his knees on the right side of the chair along with Mary, started argue with his master. "But Master Splinter. She was in grave danger and... we had to help her, even at the risk of getting exposed."

"Yeah. Like we told you earlier, she was chased by those Mousers in the sewers and they had her cornered to the dead end. We couldn't just stand by and watch them tearing her apart." Mary added.

Raph, who was standing next to Dom in the left side of the armchair with his arms crossed, had to agree with Mary and Leo... even though it is really rare for Raph to find himself in agreement with Leo.

"Yeah. Besides, aren't you always teaching us to try to do the right thing?" Raph questioned.

"As you grow older, you'll learn there are many ways to 'DO the right thing.'" Splinter told to his sons and daughters, before he lowered his head down with the sigh.

"But from this, there is no going back."

Splinter then turned back to April. "I'm afraid we find ourselves... at your mercy."

April immediately got the message from Splinter's words.

"Oh, you do not need to be afraid. I wouldn't tell anybody about you. I mean... who would believe me anyway." April assured.

"She's got a point." Donnie agreed as he was sitting on the couch's arm on April's left side.

Louie, who was sitting on his butt in the floor next to Donnie, nodded in agreement. "True. Nobody believes in anything unless you see it with your own eyes. Besides, a moment ago she even said that "there can't be such of things like giant three-fingered turtles... including one giant talking rat". And even if she would tell about us, any human - especially adults - would consider it as a mere nonsense."

"Yeah! We're unbelievable nonsense!" Mikey declared while making some heroic-looking postures.

Louie then picked the empty pizza box from the table and threw it in manner of Frisbee at Mikey, The flying box hit the turtle in orange to his left temple.

"OW!" Mikey yelped and turned around to glare at Louie, while rubbing his left temple with his hand. "Jeez, Louie! What was that for!"

"For making my point to sound ridiculous, Mikey!" Louie shot back with the annoyed frown. "Now sit down and be quiet, little brother, before you embarrass us even further in front of the lady."

"Yeah! Where's your off-switch, bro?" Raph wondered in annoyance.

"If he even has such." Dom muttered with the facepalm

Once Louie and Raph had made Mikey to quit fooling around, they all then turned back to April.

"Seriously, honestly, I promise. That is the least I can do as my gratitude for saving my life." April swore, sounding as if she was expecting them to expect her to do something to seal her promise not to tell anybody about them. April also half-expected them wanting her to make something like a sacred oath or even a blood oath, though she hoped that she did not need to do the latter.

Splinter then got out of his seat and walked right to April, before he bent down in front of her and looked deeply into her eyes.

It took a moment before Splinter finally gave his answer with the warm smile.

"I believe you, Miss O'neil." Splinter said gently and approvingly with a smile.

Leo and Mary then moved next to Splinter.

"Wow! Is there some kind of ancient secret behind of finding the truth through of that eye-to-eye contact, Sensei?" Mary asked, taking an interest of Splinter finding April to be trustworthy enough to keep their secret by merely looking her into the eyes.

"Yeah." Leo agreed, taking an interest of this as well. "Is this some another lesson, Master Splinter? "How to sense the truth?""

"Or is this something like, you know, "mind-reading"-stuff." Mary asked, wanting to know more.

"No. This is called "trusting your gut"." the old rat master corrected.

April then started to ask her own questions.

"Well, if I'm keeping your secret, what exactly is the secret? Who are you people? Eh, I mean, "turtles". Eh... whatever."

Mikey was then suddenly overjoyed by this.

"Oh! Oh! Oh! Story Time!" He exclaimed, before turning to Splinter. "Master Splinter..." Mikey started, until he was suddenly interrupted by Dom.

"Hold it, Mikey! You've asked Sensei to tell that same story already for 5,000 000 000 times. Besides, you know our story already." the turtle in white complained.

"Actually, I've only asked one hundred and twenty one times already, one per every month in each year. Besides, bro, this request came from April here this time, not from me." Mikey pointed out.

Dom was about to say something to counter that claim, until he suddenly saw the point in Mikey's words and sighed in the lost of words and in defeat, though one thing remained to bother him. "Since when Mikey has begun to keep accounting of something?" the turtle in white wondered.

"Guys, please. Give Master Splinter some room so he can start." Leo demanded.

Agreeing to that, all eight turtles hurried to their individual spots and sat down in the circle in between of the couch and the armchair: Donnie, Louie, Leo and Mary were on the left side of the couch and Mikey, Arcee, Raph and Dom on the right side of the couch.

And once everybody had seated down and silent, Master Splinter started to tell the tale.

"Well, Miss O'Neil. No one in the upper world, except you from now on, knows our story. It might be a weird story, but it's still a sacred to us. It's the story... of how me and my children came to be what we are now." Master Splinter said, before he started to tell his story.

"It's been a fifteen years, and I still remember it like it was yesterday. I have memories. Memories when I used to be what you might call "normal."

BEGINNING OF THE FLASHBACK

Splinter: "I remember the day that started like any other, but ended up changing the courses of many lives. I was back then a normal rat trying to survive on the streets and alleys, until I came to witness an accident that took place at a nearby street intersection."

Splinter, as a normal small and feral rat, is seen wandering across the trash-filled alley, sniffing around while searching for food, until he runs out of the alley to the streets and ends up to arrive to the street intersection full of walking people and driving cars.

Splinter: "I remember a human family, whose youngest twins carried two glass jars, each containing four pet infant turtles."

In the same side of the intersection where Splinter arrived, among of the small group of the people, whom were waiting for their turn to cross, was standing two almost identical looking boys, twin brothers, whom were both carrying in their hands two glass jars, which contained eight infant turtles, which the boys had just bought from some pet store to keep them as their pets.

Splinter: "And old blind man was crossing the street when he was almost run down by a large truck. This was witnessed by the older heroic boy behind the twins and he rushed to save him, but he accidentally bumped into the twins, causing him to drop the jars out of their hands."

In other side of the intersection, an old and blind man using the stick to palpate his way forward, is seen crossing the street. However, the old man started to cross the street at the same time as the traffic lights turned to red for the people on foot. And from the distance, the large truck was driving fast towards the intersection. The driver tried to get the man's attention by honking the horn, but it caught the attention of the African-American teenager boy among of the same small group, whom turned to horn's direction and saw that the street-crossing old man wasn't aware of incoming truck.

This prompted the teenage boy to rush to save the old man's life and he managed to push him out of the truck's way just in time before it could run him down. And in rush, the teen boy accidentally bumped into the twin boys, causing them to drop the turtles out of their hands. The jars smashed open once they hit to the street, releasing the infant turtles, whom were caught by the flowing water trail and began to drift towards the storm drain.

Splinter: "As the truck swerved, its back doors flew open and a metal canister containing the strange green glowing ooze flew out from the back and followed the turtles when they, now free from the broken glass jars, flushed into the storm drain and down into the sewers."

As the truck swerved in order to avoid the accident, its back doors flew open and a canister full of the strange glowing fluid fell out and almost hit the twins, whom tried worriedly get their pet turtles back. However, they were too late as the turtles fell into the storm drain and into the sewers, far away from the deeply saddened boys reach. The canister was caught by the water trail as well and it followed the turtles into the sewers... where it eventually smashed open and spread the gloving ooze onto the turtles.

Splinter: "And there... It smashed open, releasing the ooze, which covered their bodies."

"And from there, I found them, Alone and helpless. I took pity on them and I gathered all of them up into a nearby coffee can. And as I picked them up one by one, I also got covered by the ooze."

Splinter follows the ooze-covered turtles down into the sewers, and finds all eight of them alone and helpless. Driven by the feeling of pity for the baby turtles, Splinter picks up the coffee can from nearby and began to pick up the turtles by their tails into the can one by one. One of them suddenly shook the ooze off itself and onto Splinter's face. The rat washed the ooze off his face and frowned at the turtle in annoyance.

Splinter: "I took them safety in my burrow."

Splinter had made the nest into the tunnel filled with the hay, where he put the turtles to sleep on the pile of hay before he himself went to sleep next to the infant turtles.

Splinter: "The next morning, I woke up to find all eight had doubled in size. The ooze had somehow affected to their growth. And not just to theirs, it had changed me also, making me larger and more intelligent."

Next morning, a visibly larger Splinter is woken up by the small tab to his nose. And when the rat woke up, he gasped in surprise when he saw that all eight turtles had somehow grown double their sizes and were all staring up at him in the arc-like line. Splinter then noticed to his surprise that he too had grown much larger than yesterday and that he had adopted the physical humanoid features and the intelligence close to humans' own.

Splinter: "They followed me everywhere, except above ground. I knew that the people of the surface would not understand us. We are so... different."

Splinter, now walking on two legs, is walking through the sewer tunnels, while the turtles followed the rat on all fours like the puppies following their mom... or father in Splinter's case. However, while walking, some of the turtles tried to copy Splinter's movements by trying to stand upright and even walk on two legs, only to quickly fall back on fours.

Splinter: "I was amazed by their growing dexterity, their newfound abilities like standing upright and walking on two legs than on four, even their own growing intelligence. But even so, I wasn't prepared for what happened one day."

As the turtles kept following the rat while observing with their eyes at their surroundings, one of the turtle suddenly stops, looking at Splinter.

"S-S-S. Sp-Spl-Spl. Splin-Splin-Splin. Splin-ter." one of the turtles suddenly and eventually said its very first word. Splinter turned to the turtles in shock. He was utterly surprised by this newfound ability that had came out of nowhere.

"D-D-D. Da-Da-Daa. Da-dy." another turtle said with the girl-like voice soon after, prompting Splinter to turn to her, shock still on his faces.

Splinter: "They actually even spoke, my name as the first one's first word. And another one, female one, even called me... a daddy.

Some time later, the turtle-toddlers had grown even more. They had developed the ability to walk on two legs instead of four (though still with some difficulties to stay in balance on two legs of course), to think on their own and most importantly, learned to speak clearly. Splinter also had grown a little bit more bigger himself and also developing the ability to speak as well.

Splinter: "And soon, one by one, they were all speaking. A when they did, I discovered their genders: Six of them were males and two of them were females. They were even able to develop their very own individual personalities."

Splinter was sitting in the entrance of his hay-filled burrow while the turtle-toddlers had gathered around of the large open pizza box revealing a large pizza inside, which Splinter had brought for the toddlers to eat.

"Daddy? What is that?" a dark pastel green(2) female turtle-toddler asked while taking a piece of pizza out of the box and looking at it curiously.

"This, my daughter, is called 'Pizza' in the upper world." Splinter explained, gesturing with his hand at pizza.

"And... can we eat it? Is it good?" an apple green(3) female turtle asked.

"Of course you can. It's good." Splinter replied. "Eat now, children. It will be a long time before I get some more."

"Awesome!" a Kelly green male toddler said, licking his lips.

"I don't know about this." a moss green(4) and more cautious-looking toddler muttered, looking down at the pizza, that was brought from the topside world with the unsure look on his face.

"Aw, are you chicken, dude? Gawk-bah-bah-bah-bah-bah-bah-bah-bah-gawk! Chicken!" a avocado green(5) male toddler teased the moss green toddler while mimicking the chicken's sound and gesture, prompting the moss green toddler to lunge at the avocado green toddler, knocking him over on his shell and the two toddlers started wrestling with each other.

Encouraged by the wrestling between the moss and avocado green toddlers, a dark emerald green and tough-looking toddler immediately pushed the kelly green toddler out of his way.

"This is mine!" A toddler snarled in attempt to claim the best parts of the pizza.

"Hey!" the kelly green turtle complained.

However, the olive green turtle-toddler leaped onto a dark emerald green toddler's shoulders and grabbed from the toddler's head.

"Ha ha! Pizza-dude!" the olive green toddler smirked.

"Hey! Get off me!" a dark emerald green toddler demanded while trying to shake the olive green toddler off him.

The moss and avocado green toddlers kept wrestling with each other, with the avocado green toddler having managed to pin the moss green toddler to the hay-covered floor, until the moss green toddler put his feet under the avocado green toddler's stomach and kicked him off him, making the avocado green toddler to fall into the apple green female toddler.

"Hey! Watch it, clumsy!" the apple green female toddler cried in annoyance, before she put her hands onto the avocado green toddler's shell and pushed her away from her.

Avocado green turtle landed onto his right side to the hay, before turning back to apple green female turtle. "Well, he started it!" avocado green turtle defended while pointing his middle finger accusingly at moss green toddler, who frowned back at the avocado green toddler.

The last toddler, a dark blue-green one, kept hungrily staring down at the pizza with the drool leaking out of his mouth, until he was unable to hold himself back any longer.

"COWABUNGA!" a dark blue-green toddler shouted.

With that, all eight turtle toddlers dived at the pizza at the same time. And when they pulled back, all of them were covered with pizza toppings. The box before them was empty, as each toddler was holding one of the eight slices of pizza in their hands before wolfing down their pieces.

Splinter watched from aside his ill-mannered children and slightly shook his head in "The little ones has much to learn" manner.

Splinter: "Intelligence followed soon after."

A much later, Splinter, having grown older and is now wearing the brown kimono, is seen sitting on his knees in middle of the floor of the large-spaced sewer chamber, which had been transformed and decorated into a comfortable underground apartment. Beside him was two teenage turtles sitting beside him on their knees, one male and one female, and both were wearing the individual bandanas, one blue and one turquoise. The male turtle on Splinter's left was carrying the pair of Katanas in the X-shaped scabbards tied to his shell-back while female on Splinter's right was carrying a Naginata in her shell-back.

Splinter: "And as I realized that the world above is sometimes unpredictable and dangerous place, the turtles needed to defend themselves both mentally and physically. So I began to teach them Ninjutsu, the secret arts of stealth and power, and all that I knew of this world."

In front of the Splinter and the turtles in blue and turquoise was standing three male and one female teenager turtles: one wearing purple bandana and was wielding Bo-staff. Another teenager turtle was wearing an orange bandana and wielded the pair of Nunchucks. Third teenager turtle was wearing a white bandana and wielding twin Tonfas in his hands and the female teenager turtle was wearing pink bandana and pink ragged sleeveless shirt over her upper body and wielded the pink dual Tessens. The turtles had been split into the groups of two and were exchanging the kicks and strikes with their weapons.

A bit further was last two teenager turtles: one with black bandana and was carrying a dual Butterfly swords in the scabbards that were tied over his chest. The turtle in black was training some wrist- and shin-blocks and some counter-attacks to the rotating, wooden post's "Hands". And the last one turtle, wearing a red bandana and carrying two Sais on his belt, was sending several punches into his punching back.

Splinter: "From the battered book of the Renaissance art and that I fished out of the storm drain, I chose names for each of them."

In the middle of the turtles' old lair, the turtle with the Katanas leaped into the air, 'till he landed back on his feet. He then spun his Katanas briefly in his hands before he took the fighting pose: He bent his left leg and extended his right one out, while holding his right hand's Katana out and the left hand's Katana above his head.

Splinter: "Leonardo."

A female turtle with Naginata came over from the left in front of Leonardo. She leaned on her left bent leg while spinning her Naginata with both hands in front of her, before she took her fighting pose: She leaned on her right bent leg and pulled her Naginata in a wide arc to her right, scraping its blade against the ground before holding it horizontally high up, and then shot her left hand forward in palm-strike style.

Splinter: "Marietta."

The turtle with Bo-staff then appeared from the right in front of Marietta, twirling his staff around in front of him for a moment before taking the fighting pose: He held his Bo-staff with both hands in front of him, while leaning on his right bent leg with left leg extended out.

Splinter: "Donatello."

The turtle with twin Tonfas then leaped from the left in front of Donatello. He twirled both his Tonfas around before swinging them from side to side and back, making the wooden hafts of the weapons rap against each other for three times with three loud "KLAK!" "TSAK!" and "KLAP!" before he took the fighting pose: He held his Tonfas up like the shield in front of his chest while spreading his legs wide.

Splinter: "Domenico"

The turtle holding Butterfly swords upside down in his hands leaped from right in front of Domenico, Crossing his arms over his chest, he twirled his short swords for a moment before pulling them back to their proper sides. And while doing so, he scraped his swords' blades together, creating momentarily lasting and almost crescent-shaped yellow-white line of the flying sparks before he took his fighting pose: His bent his left leg into a hook, with right leg extended out, while holding his left hand's sword pointed forward and holding right hand's sword over his head.

Splinter: "Lorenzo"

The turtle with Sais then leaped from the left in front of Lorenzo, twirling his Sais in his hands for a moment before taking his fighting pose: He went into a crouched position and held his Sais high in the air and upside down in his hands.

Splinter: "Raphael"

Another female turtle with the pair of closed Tessens then leaped from right in front of Raphael. Arcee pulled her Tessens in front of her before she opened her weapons. Then she swiftly pulled them down and then in arc over her head before taking her fighting pose: She spread her arms out wide, holding her weapons upside down in her hands while lifting her left leg up and standing elegantly still on one foot.

Splinter: "Artemisia"

And then, the last but not least turtle leaped from the right in front of Artemisia and the rest of them, grinning while spinning wildly the pair of Nunchucks in his hands - though he accidentally hits himself in the head with one of them. "OW!" he yelped, before he took his own fighting pose: He bent his right leg over and extended his left leg out while holding his Nunchucks high in the air.

Splinter: "Michelangelo"

All but Michelangelo then jumped forward and around of their youngest brother, and each of them took a new fighting poses while standing together

Splinter: "Together, they're destined to be..."

ENDING OF THE FLASHBACK

All eight turtles then high-threed each other.

"...TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES FOREVER!" they all cheered in union, finishing Splinter's story.

"Or, something like that, that we all yell at once." Mikey joked, as he approached April from her left, getting a bit too close for April's comfort.

Even though April had already accustomed to the turtles, she still had some difficulties to get accustomed some of their a pretty "boisterous" personalities like Mikey's.

"First rule, April... ignore Mikey. It will make your life much easier." Raph said as he sat down on the couch on April's left.

"Come on!" Mikey exclaimed offended.

"So we have remained in secret, and that is our story." Splinter explained as he got up from the floor and walked to April.

April was left astonished by their story.

"Wow. That was one of the story, Master Splinter." April said in awe, but when she went through everything she'd heard in her head again, she somehow noticed a small but significant plot hole in the story and was curious about it. "But how did YOU know the martial arts?"

April's question seemed to have some kind of impact on Splinter, as he slightly lowered his head down and closed his eyes... before he quickly opened them again and lifted his head up to answer to April's question.

"That is the story for another time." Splinter simply replied.

Suddenly, Mikey's voice drew everyone's attentions to him.

"Hey, guys! Look at this!" Mikey called out as he pointed with his finger at the big TV screen on the top of the entertainment zone's TV set.

It was on the News Channel in big TV-screen, where they all saw the big bank-building. The building was at the moment surrounded by the dozens of police cars and cops.

"Good morning, New York. This is the latest news on Channel Six. The police are completely baffled by the series of daring bank robberies boldly executed in broad daylight all around of New York City this morning. The stolen property rises to $ 900,000 in an explosive manner." The female news reporter said in big TV screen.

The screen then showed a pretty cheerless sight, especially for all those who had their savings in that bank, a breached bank vault. There was a big hole torn forcibly through the vault's floor from underground. In the corner of the vault was lying badly damaged security camera and dozens of deposit boxes had been picked off the walls, torn open and emptied. None of them had been left intact.

Mikey, along with Arcee and Dom all shook his head in disbelief while following the news.

"Series of the bank robberies?" Arcee said, quirking her brow in confusion.

"Ooohhh! It's a crime wave!" Louie exclaimed, surprised. "I think we got some band of masked homicidal maniacs playing with the big guns and explosives waiting for having their sorry butts kicked. Cool!" he added, looking forward for some serious butt-kicking ninja action.

While watching the news, Donnie instantly became suspicious of all of this. "No, Louie. I don't think that's the case."

Louie shot a questionable look at Donnie.

"Oh, yeah?" Louie challenged. "Mind to explain, brainiac... And pleeeeeeaaaase! Explain it simply so that everybody understands."

"Well, first off, that hole doesn't seem to be work of the explosives, otherwise its edges would be burnt and smoking." Donnie started, pointing at the hole in the vault's floor. "And secondly, one back robbery may be common, whether the robber happens to be a masked homicidal maniac with the gun that uses death threats and violence to get inside of the vault or then he is technically very professional one to hack into the banks' tight security systems and get through of the the vault's thick steel door's wide array of alarms, anti-theft devices and complicated code locks to get his hands into the contents of the vault. But come on! A countless bank robberies committed all over New York City on the same morning and at the same time? That doesn't make any sense."

"Well, how about that, Donnie? Does that make any sense?" Mikey asked, turning back to the big screen as it still showed the wrecked vault.

"If anyone has any information of this, the police urge you to call the Crime Stoppers Hotline." the news reporter reported as the screen then showed from a close-up something else left in the vault.

The turtles, April and Splinter all then saw a very familiar-looking three-footed footprints in the vault's floor and walls.

"So, anybody want to take a wild guess of what and who did this?" Mikey asked rhetorically.

To Be Continued.
