=Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2003=
=Darkness of the Edge of the Town Part 2=
As the turtles made their way into the dark museum, they eventually found all four ninjas from the main hall that had the skylight, and where had been currently featured a Japanese exhibit, where was a lot of ancient Japanese artifacts.
However, the turtles noticed that there was something new in the group.
Though all ninjas looked identically with each others and the ones from their first encounter, with their red footprint symbols, black suits, gray vests with the shoulder pads and head-covering yellow-eyed black masks, one of the ninjas looked a quite different compared to the others.
This one seemed to be taller, standing at around 6 ft tall, slender build yet slightly more broad-shouldered than other three ninjas with him. The ninja suit this new guy wore shared closely the same design as the standard ninjas' suits, apart of having his arms, chest, neck, head and faces completely uncovered. This new ninja was bald, he had a paling skin and ash-grey eyebrows and mustache. His Japanese-like faces were hardened and formed into a stern expression that resembled a frown. He had the ninjas' blood-red three-toed footprint symbol as a tattoos in middle of his bare chest and in each of his bare shoulders. He also had three small but long and hideous-looking scars on the left side of his faces that looked like the claw marks. Two longer scars were running from the left side of his forehead to his left cheek and third one was running from between of his narrowed eyes to over of the left side of his mouth, splitting his lips. The middle wound ran across his left eye, leaving the eye damaged and thus permanently blind. This ninja carried in his back a pair of Katanas - which had a two-handed reddish brown handles' around of which had been wrapped up a black ribbons. The swords guards and pommels were golden and there was two black ribbons hanging freely from the weapons' pommels. The ninja also carried in each side on his belt a couple pairs of TantÅ-daggers and he had also a Yari-spear tied in his back and over of his swords' X shaped scabbards.
All four ninjas were standing around of a display case that contained something that looked closely like Japanese Katana.
The sword's from the tip curved blade seemed to be somewhat taller and wider than what Leo's blades and its two-handed white handle was oddly decorated: Its gold trimmed pommel was curved to resemble a weird-looking head, from which a four stylized and elongated tentacle-like limbs - or something like that - began to wrap around of the handle all the way up to the weapon's guard, in which was a three somewhat banana-sized and upwards pointing curved blades in three directions.
The unmasked ninja, apparently the ring-leader, moved closer to the display case and observed the sword in the case for a moment.
"The Goblin Blade." he muttered in clear Japanese accent, before he turned to the ninjas around of him.
"We've found what we're after. Now, we must deliver this Goblin Blade to the master as soon as possible before the power comes back. Let's get to work." the unmasked ninja said sternly to the other ninjas with him.
As the turtles prepared to reveal themselves to the ninjas, whom were unaware of their presence in the same room, one of the ninjas used a device to cut a circle hole on the case's glass. And thanks to the power blackout that affected to the security and anti-theft alarm system, cutting the glass did not trigger the alarm.
The unmasked ninja then turned to the other ninja, who carried a metal glove with the same footprint symbol in the backside of it.
"You! Take the sword and let's get out of here." the unmasked ninja told him sternly.
The ninja obeyed and put the glove in his left hand and moved to grab the sword and take it out from the glass case.
However, this was the moment when the turtles revealed themselves to the ninjas, as Louie threw a Shuriken in the wooden part of the case, right in front of the ninja's faces, narrowly missing him. All four ninjas turned to the direction from where the Shuriken had came from and the ninjas saw the turtles standing in the opposite side of the hall.
"Excuse me, guys, but do you realize that breaking in and theft are the punishable acts?" Louie tauntingly asked.
"Besides, a gift shop's on the first floor, boys. Nobody takes kindly to shoplifters, and neither do we." Leo said to the ninjas.
The unmasked ninja looked surprised of seeing the giant on two legs walking and talking turtles before his very own eyes.
"By the Mountain of Fuji! What is this?!" he exclaimed with shock and surprise, though he maintained his composure and held his ground.
"Say! We may have not yet met, haven't we?" Mikey said as he saw the unmasked ninja's slight uneasiness before them.
It was then when the ninjas behind of the unmasked ninja, except the one with the glove, draw out of their Katanas and took their prepared stances, before one of the two moved forward and next to their leader.
"Master Tatsu... these eight strange creatures are those same strange green warriors who thwarted the funding collection operation a few weeks ago." the ninja said to the unmasked ninja, who's name was Tatsu, pointing his sword accusingly at the turtles in front of them.(1)
"Oh! So you do remember us?" Mary asked, taking a notice how the ninja spoke of them as if they had already met.
"How nice, and ironic, to run into some old acquaintances here." Arcee said tauntingly.
After hearing what his underling had just said, Tatsu's surprised look on his face instantly faded away and switched back into his stern and hardened expression. And when he turned back to the turtles, he looked at them like he was about to challenge them to the fight.
"Who are you?! Or what are you? Are you some reptilian demons? Kappa?! ANSWER ME, you freakish devils!" Tatsu snarled with the demanding tone, as the large ninja draw out his Katanas from their X-shaped scabbards tied in his back before taking the stance, preparing himself to face off the turtles if needed.
"Who are we?" Dom shot back. " I think that the question goes more likely "Who are you?"" Dom said.
"And say it correctly, pal: we're turtles! Have you ever seen a turtles before?!" Mikey asked, a bit offended of them being called... uh... whatever he called them instead the turtle.
"you're the one here who looks a pretty freakish, if not even ugly, especially with all those nasty scars on your face, Mr. Scar-face. While me and my siblings here are the ones looking a pretty handsome and beautiful dudes and dudettes." Louie said, lifting his left hand over his head and sliding it over his top to the backside of his head as if pulling his hair back with his hand - even though he didn't have any hair at all.
The chuckle escaped from some of the turtles after Louie's joking comparison between of their "handsome/beautiful" turtle-looks and the lead ninja's hideously scarred look.
"And speaking of which... Mind to tell me, who gave you those "pretty" scars of yours, Scar-face? An angry rat who didn't like you too much, huh?" the turtle in red tauntingly added with the smirk, earning another round of chuckles from his siblings.
Tatsu was visibly enraged when he realized that his pride had been shamelessly wounded... especially when it was about the scars in his face.
"YOU INSOLENT KAPPA! I'll have your head for that insult!" Tatsu snarled at the turtles in red and black before he turned back to the ninja with the glove.
"Grab that sword and go! We cannot allow this minor interference to let the master to wait for his Goblin Blade any longer than this!" Tatsu ordered his underling ninja.
Ninja nodded and rushed to the case to take the sword out of it with the gloved hand, until his left arm was suddenly nailed to the case's wooden part by two at the same time fired arrows that pierced through of the ninja's black suit's sleeve from both above and beneath of his arm, much to the ninja's surprise.
The ninja turned back to the turtles and saw Arcee holding up her Yumi bow and standing in the archer's stance... telling to the ninja that it was the turtle in pink who had fired those arrows that nailed his gloved arm to the display case.
"A-a-a-a-aa, must not touch. Didn't your mother tell you not to play with sharp knives, pal?" Arcee asked teasingly as she picked a new arrow from her quiver attached to her belt and placed it into her bow's string. Turtle in pink them leveled her bow at the ninjas and pulled the string backwards, ready to shoot the arrow at the ninjas if needed.
The ninja with the glove pulled Arcee's arrows off from his suit's sleeve and attempted finally to take the sword out from its case, until Raph halted him with another Shuriken that was thrown to the case's wooden part again. This time to under of the ninja's gloved arm.
"Now before you try to make off with the goods, ya might wanna consider a few things. One: You're outnumbered. Two: Don't let the pretty faces fool ya. You might be skilled and good, but we're tougher than we look." Raph said with determination.
However, much to Raph's surprise, Tatsu suddenly lowered down his Katanas and put them back into their scabbards... but something told to the turtles that this was far away from the mere surrendering and parley.
"We'll see about that." Tatsu snarled disturbingly calmly, before he lifted up his right open hand to the air.
"NINJA! TO ME!" Tatsu called out as he clenched his hand into a fist.
Suddenly, out from the shadows of the hall and from the skylight emerged even more ninjas as a backup for Tatsu's small group, outnumbering the turtles with five or six on one and surrounding the turtles from all four directions
"Uh... I think that there's one thing more to be considered, Raph." Mikey gulped upon seeing how the odds had unexpectedly and swiftly turned into their opponents' favor instead of theirs. "Third: We're about to get our butts seriously hammered!"
"I recommend that you seriously consider withdrawing your statements, Raph." Dom suggested sarcastically, earning a snarl of annoyance from the turtle in red.
The turtles hurriedly formed the shell-to-shell circle to face the ninjas that approached them from everywhere with Katanas, Bo-staves, bows and Kusarigamas.
"That's right. If you Kappa-creatures have decided to stand between us and that Goblin Blade, then we have to remove you out of our way literally." Tatsu said coldly to the turtles, before he clicked his fingers as a signal for the ninjas to attack the turtles.
The first ninja with Bo-staff attacked Leo, who draw out his Katanas and engaged his opponent. The turtle in blue dodged under the ninja's first swing before he swung his Katanas forward and sliced through the staff from the middle, leaving the surprised ninja to hold two pieces of his now useless staff.
However, the ninja narrowed his eyes at Leo in anger, before he suddenly sprouted two hidden blades out from two pieces of his staff, much to Leo's surprise.
As the ninja charged at Leo and swung his blades at him, the turtle in blue swiftly turned around to block the blades with his shell, which surprisingly broke upon the impact against it. This left the ninja dumbfounded long enough for Leo to turn around and charge at him. The turtle in blue pushed the ninja away with his shoulder, sending him flying into another ninja, knocking them both down.
"Whew! Saved by the shell!" Leo said with relief.
Mary, having witnessed this, was left surprised and impressed.
"Our shells are blade-proof?!" the turtle in turquoise exclaimed curiously.
Eager to find that out on her own, even with the risk of her own life, Mary charged towards a four other ninjas armed with their own Naginata-spears. The ninjas spun their own spears rapidly above their heads as they charged all together from four different directions towards incoming turtle in turquoise, with intention to slice her apart from the neck, waist and thighs.
However, as the ninjas swung their Naginata-spears' blades towards Mary, she jumped into the air and curled into the ball, shielding her head with her arms and her stomach with her legs, and spun around to her right so that her shell would meet every Naginatas' blade in perfect timing without getting herself the lethal blow from them to somewhere that could seriously harm her or even kill her. Timing proved to be perfect and her shell met every ninja's Naginata's blade during of her spin around, and the impact caused the spears' blades to break off from the staves.
And the one spin was quickly followed by another one after Mary uncurled herself, landed on her left foot to the floor, and then swung her right leg in arc towards each ninja's head. "HYAAA!" Mary let out as she knocked all four ninjas off their feet at once, sending them to the floor out cold.
After dealing with the ninjas and knocking them out with one spin kick, Mary quickly checked herself in case of injuries before turning to look at the ninjas and their broken Naginata-spears, which blades were clean yet dented from the impact against her shell.
"I guess they are... SWEET!" the turtle in turquoise commented.
Meanwhile, Raph was spinning rapidly around in a circle on his blades. "Check it out, guys! Blades in blades!"
The turtle in red then charged towards the group of five ninjas, one of which lunged at Raph with the Katana ready to slice him in half by the waist. However, as the ninja was about to swing his Katana at him, Raph leaned down onto his right arm and jumped over the ninja's head as he made his move, but ended up slicing the ancient porcelain vase in half instead while Raph landed safely onto his blades behind of the ninja.
"HA HA HA HAA!" Raph laughed smugly. "If you break it, pal, you bought it!"
Raph then bladed across the hall, until he was chased by another ninja, who was about to reach him.
"And Speaking of buying it!" Raph said, before he with "HAI YAA!" cry quickly spun around and kicked the ninja to the guts, sending him flying into a gong, which caused the humming sound after the ninja flew against of it.
"BULLSEYE!" Raph cheered up at this.
Elsewhere, Arcee was skating across the hall's floor with her pink roller skates as well. However, a punch of ninjas armed with the bows were positioned to the upstairs, in both sides of the hall - four in one side and five in the other - and all of them were aiming their arrows at Arcee's. Thinking quickly, Arcee grabbed two ancient Japanese shields and held them up to cover herself from the ninjas' arrows.
"I hope the people of museum doesn't mind about this." Arcee muttered.
As the ninjas released their arrows and they flew towards her, Arcee began to quickly switch the positions of the shields with
As the ninjas released their arrows, Arcee began to quickly switch her shields positions from two places to another two to protect herself from both sides incoming volleys. She blocked the first volley of arrows by spinning around to face the group of five archers while shielding with one shield her face and with other one her chest. After that, she spun herself around again to face the other group of four archers and fended off the next volley by holding her left shield in front of her faces and her right shield behind of her head, protecting the back of her head and her neck with it from the arrows while her own shell protected her back.
After that, she swiftly turned around and made the powerful backward flip to jump in the air while spinning around and flying across the hall, during of which she kept switching the positions of her shields to block more volleys. In the beginning of the jump, Arcee held her left shield up to cover her left side while her right shield was held up over the right side of her face. In the middle stage of the flight - in which she was flying upside down through the air - Arcee held her left shield up in front of her chest and her right shield behind of her lumbar. And before landing back to her feet, Arcee held her right shield over the left side of her faces and her left shield over her right side. However, she missed one arrow, that luckily bounced off from her shell after landing back on her feet.
"Your aim really sucks, boys!" Arcee taunted, before she reached over her head with her right hand and drew four arrows from her quiver. But much to the ninja archers' confusion, the turtle in pink tossed them up into the air.
As her arrows flew in arc through the air, with the confused ninjas' attentions on them, Arcee took her Yumi in her left hand and jumped into the air and towards her arrows, that were starting to fall back down. Arcee then snatched them one by one from the air and swiftly placed them all into her bow's string, before turning around and leveled her bow horizontally while taking the aim at the four ninja archers and pulled the string back.
"But mine doesn't!" Arcee added with determination, and without wasting time in proper aiming, she released the string and sent the arrows flying at the ninjas.
Two of the arrows pierced one ninja's vest from above of his shoulders, pulling him backwards and pinning/nailing him against the wall. The third pierced through the second ninja's right sleeve and pulled it backwards, making the ninja accidentally to backhand the third ninja's faces, hitting him in the nose. Fourth and last ninja attempted to dodge Arcee's last arrow but the arrow nonetheless pierced through of the ninja's suit from the chest, inches away from his skin. The arrow's speed pulled the ninja away from the railing and caused him to dive headfirst against the wall behind him, knocking him out cold.
"HA! FOUR BIRDS WITH ONE SHOT!" Arcee cheered.
Meanwhile, while Arcee was dealing with four ninja archers, Dom set himself off to deal with five others.
During the fight, Dom had sneaked up to the upstairs of the hall, where he had re-assembled his road-bike and hopped on it. Now the turtle in white was riding along the upstairs' railing to there where the five ninja archers were standing.
"Good night, boys!" Dom jokingly wished to the first ninja archer, who was surprised to see him suddenly coming out of nowhere without even noticing him. It was too late for him to do anything before the turtle of white on the bike drove past him, but not before kicking him in the chest with his left foot, which sent the ninja flying into two other unsuspecting ninja archers, knocking all three of them to the ground and out cold. With the ninjas knocked out, Dom turned his attention to the two remaining ninja archers.
However, Dom dealing with the first three ninja archers had revealed his presence to the last two ninjas, who were about to turn their bows and arrows at him as the turtle in white kept riding towards them on his road-bike.
However, before they could release their arrows, Dom unexpectedly jumped with his bike off the ground and flipped sideways in the air before his bike's wheels hit to the wall in his right side. The turtle in white then flipped off the wall sideways, flying over the surprised ninja archers' heads and over the railing, falling down to the hall downstairs.
However, using the confusion he had created with his quite daring sideways flip off the wall to his advantage, Dom had quickly drawn his Tonfas out and threaded the handles of his wooden weapons under the ninjas' arrow quivers' belts while flying over the the ninjas' heads and before falling over the upstairs' railing.
"And good flying for two of you!" Dom added as he and his bike flipped sideways around for the second time after flying over the railing, pulling the two surprised ninja archers with him, before the turtle in white sent them flying to the other side of the downstairs.
"AAHHHH!" the ninjas screamed, before the first ninja landed on top of another display case, smashing it beneath his weight, while the second one collided to the old Japanese cabinet, knocking it over to the floor.
Arcee, meanwhile, skated towards another group of four ninjas, still holding her Yumi in her hands, but she looked like she wasn't going to shoot with it, let alone to switch it to her Tessens.
"C'mon! Who's next?!" Arcee dared the ninjas in front of her.
One of the ninjas with two Kamas lunged towards Arcee, swinging his arms from side to another and then pulled them back, attempting to sink his Kamas' curved blades into Arcee's throat from both sides. However, he missed his target as Arcee jumped into the air right at the moment when she was about to meet with ninja's lethal strike, performing the barrel roll as she flew over the ninja. While doing that, Arcee swung one of her bow's hooked ends towards the ninja's back and 'hooked' him from his black suit. And as Arcee finally landed onto her feet to the floor, the turtle in pink pulled with her bow the surprised ninja off the ground and over her head, sending him flying into second ninja with Bo-staff, knocking them both over to the ground and out cold.
The remaining two ninjas charged towards Arcee, with their swords held up high and ready for the lethal strike.
The Ninjas met Arcee around of the platform, on which was standing several lined up ancient Japanese vases. The first ninja swung his sword towards Arcee's waist to cut her in half, but Arcee flipped over the ninja's sword's swing and over the ninja's head as well before landing onto the platform, accidentally crushing one of the vases beneath of her roller skates in the process. The ninja turned around and attempted to resume his attack, but the turtle in pink picked up another vase from next to her and flung it into the ninja's face, knocking him out cold.
The fourth and last ninja then attempted to stab Arcee with his Katana from behind, but the turtle in pink sensed him coming and flipped backwards and over the ninja's head, landing on her feet behind him. The ninja, however, ended up running his sword's blade by force through of the bigger vase instead of Arcee. Before the ninja could pull his sword out of the cracked vase and turn back to Arcee, the turtle in pink swung her bow towards the ninja's legs and swept them off from under him with her bow's hooked end, causing her opponent to fall on his left side to the ground.
"C'mon! Where's your last time's toughness? You're making this boringly easy for us." Arcee taunted to the ninja that lied groaning in her feet. The ninja attempted then to get back up, but Arcee put her right foot onto his back and pushed him back to the ground.
Meanwhile, Donnie was facing another ninja armed with a Naginata. However, Donnie swiftly re-assembled his bike again and hopped on it, riding towards the ninja as he showed off himself by spinning the spear rapidly above his head before he prepared to skewer Donnie with it. However, before he could, Donnie pulled the bike's front side up as he jumped off of it, uppercutting the ninja with the bike's rear wheel.
"Alleyoop!" Donatello let out as his counter-attack sent the ninja flying into an ancient samurai armor display, knocking it over.
Donnie then turned his head and spotted another ninja with the pair of Sais coming right towards him. Donnie quickly turned around to face him before he pulled out his Bo-staff and positioned like the lance wielded by the medieval knights.
"Charge!" Donnie let out again and charged at the ninja with his as the lance-turned-Bo-staff aimed the ninja's chest, knocking him off his feet and sending him into another large vase, breaking it.
Meanwhile, Mikey was skating on his skateboard across the room as he headed towards the several ninjas.
"Whoo-hoo! Check me out! I'm bowling for ninjas!" the turtle in orange cheered as he knocked on his way one attacking ninja off his feet, sending him flying into two other ninjas, knocking all three of them down like the bowling pins.
Louie, skating with his own over-sized skateboard across the room as well, witnessed this and decided to challenge Mikey to the bowling contest.
"Only three on one?! Is that all you got, bro?!" Louie scoffed, as he skated towards the group of six ninjas, who hadn't even detected him yet. As the turtle in black was close enough, he lifted his right leg up - balancing with her left while riding on his fast-speeding skateboard - and spun around and roundhouse-kicked one of the ninjas, sending him flying into rest five ninjas, knocking them all over like the bunch of dominoes.
"Six on one! Get better than this, bro!" Louie dared.
"Alright, bro! You're on it!" Mikey shouted, accepting Louie's challenge.
Mikey skated towards the group of twelve ninjas while spinning his Nunchucks wildly, preparing for the strike to have a better count of fallen ninjas than Louie.
"Skate faster...!" Mikey exclaimed as the turtle in orange confidently kicked with his right leg more speed in his skateboard, as the first two ninjas stepped out of the group, moved forward and raised their swords over their heads, ready to strike Mikey with them at the same time.
However, as they brought their swords down on Mikey, Mikey swung his Nuchucks at them and knocked the swords out of their hands before skating past them.
"Jump over...!" Mikey let out as he suddenly jumped off his skateboard and flipped over all ten ninjas' heads before the turtle in orange started to fall back down and towards the group of ten ninjas. And at the same time, his empty skateboard moved through of the ninjas' feet - luckily they were all standing in line with their legs spread wide, so that the skateboard was not in danger to collide in any of them and stop there.
And as he was flying over the line's last ninja...
"AaaaaAAAAAND, FALL!" Mikey shouted as he turned around in the air and first pulled his wildly spinning Nunchuks backwards before swinging them forward towards the line's last ninja, whacking him in the face with his both Nunchuks! Ninja groaned painfully from the impact that sent him flying into nine others standing behind of him, knocking all ten ninjas off their feet and over to the ground like the bunch of bowling pins.
With all ninjas lying out cold on the floor, Mikey landed onto his skateboard that dived out of the collapsing group of ninjas, and and began skating around of the pile of defeated ninjas triumphantly.
Mikey then turned to Louie with the smug smirk while spinning his Nunchucks in his hands.
"Ten on one, Louie! Get better than this! Except that there may not be anymore enough ninjas left for you to get best of me! Na-Na-Na-Na-Na!" the turtle in orange teased, until one ninja with a Kusarigama threw his weapon's chain towards Mikey, wrapping it around his left wrist and causing the turtle in orange to drop his Nunchaku.
"Uh-Oh." Mikey muttered, as the ninja pulled Mikey towards him from the chain and attempted to give him the lethal strike with his Kusarigama's sickle blade.
"Heads up, dude!" Mikey let out as he jumped off his skateboard - first by lifting his left leg up to put some weight to the backside of his skateboard so that its front side would go up, just before kicking the board forward with his right leg - causing it to fly up and hit the ninja squarely in the chest, knocking him down and out cold.
"Way to pick up that spare!" Mikey commented as he untied his Kusarigama's chain from around of his wrist.
Louie then skidded to halt next to him while looking around. To his dismay, Louie realized that Mikey had the point. There weren't enough ninjas still standing anymore that he could have make a bigger count to beat Mikey's recent count. And so, Louie was forced to - albeit reluctantly because of Mikey recently boasting of his victory with the taunting voice - admit his defeat to his little brother.
"Okay, okay, Mikey. I guess that you beat me for now. Congratulations" Louie said, with somewhat hardly hidden bitter voice. The turtle in black apparently was not accustomed to lose the games he himself had proposed.
"Why, thank you, bro." Mikey said, seemingly not minding about the slight of bitterness in Louie's voice.
Mikey then knelt over the ninja he had knocked out and reached out his hand towards him. The turtle in orange grabbed from the ninja's outfit and ripped off the piece of cloth that included these ninjas' symbol.
"And a trophy to boot!" Mikey said with the smirk, as he eyed the symbol in his hand.
"Aw, crap!" Louie groaned, lamenting his loss of the chance to have the same trophy as Mikey did. "That would have been a perfect addition to my collection, along with the Mouser's head and Nanobot's "Frightened" mask."(2)
Elsewhere, Leo was having a little difficulties of his own. First he locked his swords with one ninja's own and tried to push him back, but was forced to pull his left sword away to block the two other ninjas' swords as they tried to strike him from behind while keeping his right sword locked with the first one's own. The ninjas were then joined by three others, fourth coming from the front and the other two came from behind. The three first ninjas then pulled back and two of them attempted to swing their swords at Leo again while third one aimed his own blade towards Leo's legs. The turtle in blue dodged under the first two's swords before he spun around and jumped in the air simultaneously, narrowly avoiding the third ninja's sword that nearly hit him in the legs, as well as the fourth's as he tried to run his own sword through him. At the same time as he jumped over the ninjas' heads, Leo swung his Katanas at the other two ninjas heads, though the fifth one leaned his head backwards to avoid Leo's sword's tip from reaching -and slitting - his throat while the sixth one dodged under of Leo's second sword, evading the decapitation.
After he landed back on his feet, the ninjas pushes on and slashed at him constantly from all five directions, leaving the turtle in blue no time to catch some breath nor make an counter-attack, only to either dodge or block their repeatedly incoming attacks as fast as he could.
"Can you guys quit playing around and give me a little help over here?!" Leo gruntingly called out to his brothers and sisters, as he tried to push back four ninjas with his swords, two with each, before he swiftly turned around to fend off the other two as they tried to strike him from behind with their swords. Leo sent the three-two quick slashes at both of them to keep them at bay, before he turned back to the four other ninjas and blocked with his right sword one blade coming from above towards his head and blocked with his left sword the second blade that was aimed his legs again.
"WE'RE ON IT!" all seven turtles let out as they rushed towards him from six directions: Raph and Arcee on their roller-blades and -skates, Mikey and Louie on their skateboards and Donnie and Dom on their bikes while Mary was riding on Dom's bike with him.
As his siblings were on their way to help him, Leo kept struggling with the ninjas. One ninja drew out a Tanto dagger and attempted to slit Leo's throat with it, only for Leo to duck if from under. The ninja, however, turned around and attempted to strike Leo again, which Leo blocked with his right sword while sending a slash with his left sword at the second ninja behind him, only to be blocked by the Ninja's own blade. Third and fourth then came from his right, with the third attempting to bring his sword down on him while fourth tried to thrust his sword forward to stab Leo. Leo, however, lifted his right sword up to block the third's blade and swung his left sword in arc upwards, knocking the fourth's blade forcefully of its course, before doing the same with the third's blade. Fifth and sixth them charged from behind him, but Leo predicted this and turned around to face them, blocking with his right sword the fifth's sword that was once more aimed to his legs again while knocking the sixth's blade away with two powerful swings of his left sword, with which he blocked the second one's new blow, before he kneed with his right knee the sixth ninja in between the legs, causing him to gasp in pain before toppling over. Leo then spun around while his own blades were still locked with the fifth's and second's own blades, and he pulled his blades so forcefully with him that he caused the fifth to nearly stumble over to the floor while the second was forcibly pushed back, before Leo turned to the third, fourth and first one. Leo sent another powerful swing with his left sword at the fourth and third, knocking their incoming swrods off their courses as they were aimed at his left thigh and waist. Leo then raised his left Katana over his head as the second one attempted to bring his sword down on his to split the backside of his head in two, blocking it, while locking his right sword with the first one's.
Until suddenly, all his opponents stopped attacking him as the rest of the turtles were about to close them in.
And then, much to the turtles' surprise, all ninjas battling Leo jumped out of their way, leaving them all on inevitable collision course.
"LOOK OUT!" All seven turtles let out as they realized that they were all too close to make a sharp turn to left or right or skid to halt to avoid the collision with each other.
CRASH!
All seven turtles crashed into their eldest brother or each other and fell over to the museum floor. Donnie, Mikey and Arcee fell onto their stomachs and Leo on his left side nect to them, Raph, Mary and Dom onto their shell and with Louie on his stomach over onto Dom.
The turtles groaned in pain as they started to slowly pull themselves off the ground, rubbing their sore spots.
"Ugh. I sense a teamwork training session in our future." Mikey commented, the sarcasm very clear in his voice about their tonight's accomplishment.
"No kidding! This is so embarrassing!" Arcee moaned as she got up to sit, rubbing her right shoulder.
"You're telling me, sis. I'm starting to feel ourselves as a disgraces in history of Ninjutsu." Dom complained, before turning to Louie as the turtle in black was was still lying over his stomach, rubbing his head with his hand. "And do yourself a favor, Louie, by learning to look ahead to you in the near future! Now get off me, will ya?"
"Give some slack to the wounded people, smartass." Louie spat back with the voice mix of drama and irritation as he got up to his knees, rubbing his left shoulder. "And same words about looking ahead of you in the near future!" he added.
The ninjas regrouped and surrounded the turtles once again. They began to close in on them and prepared to raise their swords up to bring them down on the turtles to kill them all, until Tatsu ordered them to halt before they could.
"Forget about those amateurish freaks! We have to move! Now!" Tatsu ordered. "NINJAS, VANISH!"
The ninjas quickly forget the turtles, sheathed their Katanas into their scabbards in their backs and hurried to the ropes that were hanging down from the ceiling of the room. The ninjas either ran along the stairs or jumped onto the display cases and jumped again to upstairs' railings where the ropes were waiting for them. Once each ninja had reached to the rope, they climbed up along them and escaped through of the skylight.
"Double-time, the ninjas are getting away!" Leo shouted, and the brothers and sisters hurriedly jumped back on their feet.
As the rest of the ninjas escaped, Tatsu halted the ninja with the glove from escaping.
"Give me that and go!" he said harshly as he snatched the glove from the ninja before allowing him to leave with the rest.
Tatsu headed back to the display case containing the sword. And after he put the glove into his hand, he grabbed the sword and pulled it out of the case.
After getting what they had come for, Tatsu attempted to leave with the rest of the ninjas, but his escape was cut short as the turtles blocked his way and surrounded him in a semicircle, preventing him leaving from the building.
"Not so fast, baldie!" Louie said, pointing Tatsu with one of his Butterfly swords.
"Put the sword down, Scar-face, and we may let you leave the building in one piece." Raph demanded.
Tatsu, seeing that he was outnumbered by the turtles, backed off a little bit.
Mary then spoke next. "We have also some questions for you, bald-head." she said, pointing him with her Naginata. "Who are you guys? Who are you working for? and what in that sword interests you so much?"
However, Tatsu refused to answer to Mary's questions.
"Humph! There's no need for you kappa-freaks to know anything about us or my master. Besides, you're not even worth of wasting my time!" Tatsu snarled, before he lifted the sword up and the turtles took their own battle stances, assuming that Tatsu was about to fight them all in spite it being eight-on-one situation, with the odds being highly against him.
Then happened something what the turtles didn't expect.
The sword's blade suddenly started to glow the bright blue-white light and around of the blade - from the blade's base to the tip - appeared out of nowhere a four blue-white sparking or even lightning rings. The turtles stared at the glowing and sparking sword in surprise and astonishment that their lowered down their weapons and guards.
"Ohhh! Wow." Mikey gasped.
"Whatta...?" Donnie muttered in wonder.
"What is...?" Arcee muttered, as amazed as Donnie.
"Impossible!" Dom muttered in disbelief.
But before they could finish sentences of act in any way, Tatsu pointed the sword's sparking blade directly towards them and "fired" upon them a strange humming beam of energy waves that resembled the visible sonic waves from the blade's tip. As this mystical-looking beam reached the turtles, it forcefully knocked the whole green team off their feet and hurled them pretty violently backwards, sending them flying to the other side of the hall 'till they all hit pretty roughly against the wall.
Tatsu then, smiling with satisfaction of his easy work with the turtles, resumed his escape, hurrying to his rope and climbing up to the skylight.
However, before escaping through of one of skylight's window screens, Tatsu turned around to look down at the turtles.
"Let that be warning to you, kappa! Do not interfere in things that do not belong to you if your value your pathetic lives. If I see you all over again in such chores, mark my words that next time I will personally get rid of you freaks permanently!" Tatsu coldly warned the Turtles before he vanished from the sight.
The turtles slowly climbed up to their feet again, somewhat puzzled of what they had just witnessed with their very own eyes and even just experienced it.
"Oh, shell! Did my stomach just get messed up? It feels as if I have fallen down from somewhere high at the high speed." Dom groaned, rolling onto his side while holding his stomach with both hands, which he felt to be in knot in unpleasant way.
"You're not the only one here, bro. Ugh! I feel my own stomach rather empty, and this is not about hunger." Mikey moaned on his side in the ground as well.
"Easy there, fellas, its nothing serious, I think." Arcee comforted her brothers. "You're just feeling like your stomaches are dropping which gives you a nausea. That's normal when you're in the roller coaster ride for exacmple, where the pace all suddenly accelerates from 3mph to 40mph and alternately goes up and down during the whole ride."
"Ugh! I think I'm gonna hate roller coaster rides from now on, even though I've never been in one." Dom moaned, before he was helped back on his feet by Louie, while Arcee helped Mikey up from the floor.
"How about we next time disarm the opponent first and either seize him or pin him down to the ground before we start asking any questions, Mary?" Raph asked sarcastically from his sister.
"Hey, bro! How I was supposed to know what that scar-faced baldie was about to do? Or how he was even capable to do what he just did with that sword about five minutes ago!" Mary said in defense.
"Speaking of which, what was that sword?!" Donnie wondered, rubbing his head as he slowly got back to his feet.
However, the turtles heard then the distant sound of police sirens coming from outside of the building... and they were getting closer.
"Hold that thought for later. We've gotta book!" Leo said, and the turtles hurriedly left from the building before the police would show up to the hall.

1 = Here we go with a new character in my story: TATSU! A character that is based on the high-ranked member of the Foot Clan with the same name in 1990 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles live-action film and 1991 TMNT: Secret of the Ooze film - as well as the same named character in season 5 of TMNT 2012 series.
2 = Another one of my ideas to create Louie's character: He is eager to collect items for his collection as trophies that originally belonged to the turtles' enemies, such as the head of one of Stockman's Mousers and one of the Nanobot's masks. That's why he is pissed that he didn't get the ninjas' symbol as his trophy.
