= THE SHREDDER STRIKES PART 4 =
Next night, at Saki's warehouse...
Tatsu was standing on the rooftop and next to the skylight, waiting for Leonardo arrival so that he can give his answer.
Tatsu had there a five Foot Ninja with him. These ninjas with him were by their physical appearances much taller, muscular and thus stronger than the standard Foot Ninja and from their ninja uniforms only arms and necks were left uncovered. All of these ninjas were carrying in their backs either one or two long, broad and slightly curving Katanas with a finely crafted two-handed handles, save for one, who was carrying with him a large Naginata-spear with a broad and curved blade.
And while they were impatiently waiting, gloomy and ominous thunderclouds began to accumulate above New York City, implying that the storm was coming. Soon it began to rain and the thunder began to rumble among the clouds.
Tatsu was quickly starting to grow impatient when there was no sight of Leo.
"Where is he?! Where is he?!" Tatsu muttered rather loudly and impatiently, searching for Leo from the nearby rooftops with his eyes.
Suddenly...
"I AM HERE, TATSU!" Leo's voice bellowed, gaining Tatsu's and the ninjas' attention to the direction of Leo's voice.
There, Leonardo Splinterson was standing in the other side of the rooftop, all alone and carrying the katana Saki gave him yesterday.
"About time for you to show up, kappa!" Tatsu told Leo, irritated that it had taken from the turtle in blue this long to think his answer for his master's offer.
"Don't you know that the patience is one of the ninja's best friends and allies?" Leo told back to Tatsu, allowing the ninja have a moment to digest what he had told him before he continued. "I needed time to think my answer for Oroku Saki, and it took some time to get here. But now, I have my answer."
"And what is your answer for my master, Kappa?!" Tatsu demanded.
"THIS!" Leo bellowed into the night sky.
As the next lightning flashed across the the stormy sky, much to Tatsu's and the Large Foot Ninja's surprise, Marietta, Raphael, Lorenzo, Donatello, Domenico, Artemisia and Michelangelo appeared all of a sudden out of nowhere beside their brother and leader. Each mutant turtle had their weapons drawn out and after a brief moment of spinning them around in the air to show off their skill to the enemy, the turtles took their natural battle-ready stances as another lightning flashed behind of them and some buildings, casting the turtles' shadows to the roof and they nearly reached to Tatsu and his soldiers' feet.
Leo then walked a couple of step towards Tatsu and his ninjas.
"As soon as you have recovered, I want you to tell your boss that my final and permanent answer is 'NO'! And he can have his sword back!" Leo declared with open contempt, before he threw the sword away, sending it flying at the ninjas 'till it hit the roof and slid along the wetty roof to the feet of Tatsu.
And after doing that, Leo unsheathed his own Katanas and prepared himself for the upcoming battle.
However, Tatsu wasn't surprised/shocked of Leo's answer at all, as if he had expected this to happen.
"I knew you had not guts to get your hands dirty by joining the Foot clan, Leonardo Splinterson. However, I will respect your decision by cutting your throats and have your shells as a trophies." Tatsu snarled sadistically as he draw out his double-ended Yari-spear from his back, while his Large Foot Ninjas draw out their swords.
"You're free to try, scar-face! Bring it on!" Raph urged impatiently.
Tatsu then raised his free hand up to the air and squeezed it into a fist, shouting, "FOOT! JOIN ME! LET'S FINISH THIS IN THE NAME OF MASTER SHREDDER!"
And in no time, more, more and more standard Foot Ninja appeared to Tatsu's side, until there was over fifty ninjas standing around of Tatsu and his Large Foot Ninja, making the situation to go seven against one.
However, the turtles were unfazed in front of superior number.
"Let's dance." Leo hissed as he crossed his Katanas in front of his face.
"FOOT NINJA! ATTACK! BRING ME THEIR HEADS!" Tatsu ordered, pointing his Yari at the turtles.
And once the command was given, all fifty-nine Foot Ninjas charged towards the turtles.
"LET'S TURTLEIZE THEM!" the turtles bellowed as they charged to the battle.
"MEAN-IN-GREEN, HALLELUJAH!" Louie added.
As the turtles charged at ninjas, Arcee quickly took our her Yumi-bow and took a couple of arrows out of her quiver and placed them in her bow.
"RAPH! SLINGSHOT!" Arcee called for Raph as he was about to charge at the ninjas that were coming directly towards him.
Raph skidded to halt and turned around to face Arcee as the turtle in pink ran straight towards him. Raph then briefly put his Sais away and cupped his hands as a foothold for his sister, onto which Arcee then jumped before Raph pulled his hands up and boosted Arcee upwards at the same time as turtle in pink jumped high into the air.
While flying in the air, Arcee leveled up her Yumi, pulled the string back and aimed both her arrows at two attacking ninjas... before she eventually released the string and sent the arrows flying directly at the incoming ninjas. Arcee's arrows hit well aimed to the flat side of all ninjas' swords, a mere few inches above of the swords' guards. The impact of the fast flying arrows against the swords' blades twisted the ninjas wrists too much to the point that it caused the ninjas to drop their Katanas to the roof and groan/cry in pain.
As the ninjas started to rub their sore wrists with their hands, Arcee fell from the sky to between of them with her Yumi-bow held in sideways in her hands. And as the turtle in pink landed, her bow's ends hit the ninjas in the faces, knocking them off their feet and over to the ground.
The turtle in pink was then attacked by third ninja who swung his Ninjato-sword at her sideways, aiming at her neck to drop her head off her shoulders. However, Arcee was faster to crouch down out of the blade's way before she swung her bow towards the ninja's legs, sweeping them off from under and causing the ninja to fall onto his stomach to the roof. Arcee then finished him off with the hard blow onto the ninja's head with one end of her bow, knocking him out cold.
Soon after that, Arcee was attacked by two new Foot ninja at the same time, who were both wielding the pair of Ninjato-swords. They had used Arcee's distraction with her third ninja as their advantage to get close of her, and they were now too close of the turtle in pink for her to make the counterattack against them in time. The ninjas saw this as their opportunity and seized it by raising their swords over their heads and attempted to bring them down on the turtle in pink's head. Arcee's eyes widened in horror and she gritted her teeth together as she saw the flashing blades of the ninjas' swords falling down on her.
Suddenly...
"HAAAA-YAH!" Raph's furious and echoing battle-roar was heard as the turtle in red leaped over his still crouched sister, as the lightning flashed across the sky, casting his shadow upon the ninjas and making the blades of his Sai's glow. Lifting up his Sais, Raph captured the ninjas' swords within his weapons guards, blocking them from landing on his sister, before the turtle in red split-kicked the both ninjas into the chests, sending both of them flying over to the roof and with the hot-headed ninja landing between of their knocked out forms.
Raph then turned to look at Arcee over his right shoulder. "Up on your feet, Arcee! There's still more of these Foot-goons to deal with!" the turtle in red said before he resumed his charge at the enemy.
Arcee nodded. "Right! Thanks, bro." she thanked, before jumping back up and running after her brother, while putting her Yumi back into her back and drawing out her Tessens.
Leo headed towards Tatsu to battle with the evil ninja. However, his path was immediately blocked by Tatsu's bodyguards who stood in between of the turtle in blue and Tatsu, but Leo was completely unfazed by this. Leo instantly engaged first two Large Foot Ninja and began immediately, fiercely and repeatedly trade the blows with the ninjas with his swords, surprisingly forcing the high-ranked ninjas quickly into a defensive mode right after he had engaged them. Leo's offensive and fierce skills in the swordsmanship and him pressing on to them didn't allow the ninjas any chance for the counterattack to push him back.
Leo eventually crossed his arms in front of him before he pulled them back with full force, swinghing his Katanas forward at the ninjas. And as a result, his right hand's Katana knocked the sword off his right side's opponent's hands and his left Katana did the same to his left side's opponent's sword, leaving the ninjas disarmed and vulnerable. Seizing this opportunity, Leo lunged at and moved through between of the ninjas, slashing his Katanas at both of them in the chests. Leo's attack, however, didn't kill them but the tips of his Katanas left two long superficial wounds running across their chests - which also sliced across the Foot symbols on their chests, cutting them in half as a act of contempt and defiance just like Yoshi had done in Splinter's story - and sent them flying onto their stomachs to the roof.
After that, Leo engaged Tatsu's other Large Foot Ninja in three-on-one combat.
Raph meanwhile roared his battle cry again as the turtle in red charged at two standard Foot Ninja and engaged them both in the fierce two-on-one clash. Raph clashed with the ninjas by swinging both his Sais at their Ninjato-sword, blocking them both before they could hit him, before they both raised their blades over their heads again before they brought them down on Raph. The turtle in red in turn raised up his Sais over his head and blocked the ninjas' blows, before he roundhouse-kicked with his right leg the ninja on his right in the stomach and over to the ground, before he turned to the ninja on his left and lunged at him, snap-kicking him in the face and knocking him out cold and over to the roof.
Meanwhile, Mary was charging at four Foot Ninja while spinning her Naginata wildly over her head. One of the ninjas was armed with Naginata, second one with the pair of Tantos and the rest two were armed with the pair of Ninjato-sword, though they were also wielding Yari-spears in their hands.
Those two ninjas immediately raised their spears up and threw them at Mary in hope to hit her fatally. However, with the two swift and well-aimed swings first upwards and then downwards, Mary managed to slice both spears in half from the middle and knock them both off the flight. Mary counterattacked by pushing her Naginata's tip to the roof before she pole vaulted herself at one of the ninjas that had threw his Yari at her and was now trying to draw his own swords out for the counterattack. However, Mary reached to him first and kicked the ninja in the chest with both of her feet, knocking him over to the roof.
The second ninja behind Mary's shell-back then drew out one of his swords and attempted to swing it sideways at the turtle in turquoise, aiming at her in the exposed neck in hope to slice her spine, but she boved her head down to avoid the fatal strike. The ninja then swung his sword at her again, this time aiming at her waist to cut her in half from the middle. However, Mary avoided this as well by jumping over the ninja's blade, And when she jumped, she spun herself around to the ninja and swung at the same time her Naginata towards the ninja's head wit hher right hand, whacking the ninja in the face with the flat side of her weapon's long curved blade without killing him but knocking him off his feet and down to the roof.
The third ninja with Tantos attacked next and started to swing his blades from side to side two-four times while trying to slash the turtle in turquoise in the faces, throat and stomach to slice them open, only to miss with his every attempt as Mary backed away and out of the reach of at every slice. After the fourth attempt on her life failed, Mary swung her Naginata's blunt end at the ninja's legs, sweeping them off from under and making the ninja fall onto his back to the roof. Mary then finished the ninja off by bringing her weapon's blunt end hard into the ninja's stomach, causing him to gasp in pain before the ninja curled up into a ball, wrapping his arms around of his stomach before rolling onto his left side, groaning in pain.
Right after that, the last Naginata-wielding ninja charged at her from behind and raised his weapon over his head before he attempted to bring it down on the turtle in turquoise in hope to split her head in two. However, Mary saw this attack coming from the reflection of her weapon's blade and turned quickly around, swinging her own Naginata up in sideways,
clashing their weapons blades together to block the ninja's attempted to strike her with his Naginata. The ninja then sneakily side-kicked Mary in the right side, causing the turtle in turquoise gasp in slight pain and step back a one step. An opportunity which the ninja seized by spinning around and swinging his Naginata with both hands at Mary's legs, which were now vulnerable, in hope to cripple her. Mary, however, saw this coming beforehand and, acting quickly, turned her Naginata upside down and struck her weapon's blade's tip to the roof next to her feet, blocking the ninja's attempt to slice her feet. Mary then leaped into the air and swung herself around of her Naginata and towards the surprised ninja, kicking him in the face at the first round and knocking him both out cold and over to the roof.
Elsewhere, Dom was battling against a couple ninjas, one armed with the pair of Kamas and one with the pair of Ninjato-swords. With his Tonfas while slowly backing away step by step, Dom managed to to block the ninjas' numerous attacks alternately from two directions at the same time. However, the turtle in white knew that he couldn't keep blocking the ninjas' attacks forever, because that could wear him down eventually and he'll become a vulnerable target for their blades.
While battling the ninjas, Dom suddenly spotted three ninjas coming towards him to aid their comrades in fighting him. One ninja was coming from the front and two other were approaching him from behind, with the intention to increase the force of the attack from the front and then sneakily strike his unprotected shell-back.
Thinking quickly, the turtle in white changed the hold of his Tonfas and moved under of the ninjas' swords to stand between of them before he spun around to his left with his arms spread wide. However, as he did so, he sneakily moved his Tonfas' handles like the hooks underneath of the belts of the ninjas' scabbards, capturing them without the ninjas notice.
Then, the turtle in white pulled his right hand's Tonfa forward as the single ninja was getting close to attack, dragging the surprised ninja in his right side off his spot by his scabbard's belt with his Tonfa and sent him flying into incoming ninja, knocking them both over to the roof. Dom then spun to the left and towards the other two incoming ninjas behind him, while at the same time pulling the second ninja off the roof and into the air, swinging him around himself once and then towards the ninjas before he quickly pulled his Tonfa handle out from under the ninja's scabbard's belt, sending the ninja flying into his comrades and knocking all three of them off their feet and into a pile to the roof.
Elsewhere, Mikey was about to be engaged by the group of fourteen ninjas.
"Hey, guys, check me out!" the turtle in orange called out as he spun his Nunchucks wildly in his arms. "Nunchucks are not only good for playing with ninja-drums."
As the ninjas attacked both all together and one at the time, Mikey started to swing both of his Nunchucks swiftly and fiercely from side to side at each attacking ninja. Using the "block and/or disarm and strike" technique, Mikey alternately blocked every attack aimed at him, moved or knocked every weapon away from him, disarmed several ninjas with the quick and snappy strikes to their wrists and knuckles - causing these ninjas to yelp or wince in pain and drop their weapons to the roof - or captured a few swords and staves in his Nunchucks' chains before ripping them off the ninjas' hands. And quickly after the ninjas were either disarmed or their guards were down, Mikey finished them swiftly by whacking and bashing them in the heads, chests and faces with his Nunchucks
Within ten seconds, thanks to Mikey's mastery with the Nunchucks, all fourteen ninjas were lying in his feet in defeat, groaning in pain.
"But they're also good for giving a leg up to a fellow turtle." Mikey stated, as he turned towards Donnie, who was running towards him, and formed with his Nunchucks' chains a foothold for turtle in pruple.
Donnie hopped onto the chains, allowing Mikey to boost his brainy brother up into the air. Donnie flipped over the heads of some ninja, till the turtle in purple landed in middle of the group of eight Foot Ninja. After spotting the turtle in purple standing in middle of them, the ninjas started to circle him with their Ninjato-swords ready like the sharp-toothed and hungry sharks circling their victim stranded in the water.
"You say it, brother!" Donnie said, as the ninjas started to slowly approach him from all sides. "But Bo-staff certainly comes in handy, when a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle finds himself in a middle of the circle of angry and ugly enemy ninjas!" the turtle in purple added, as he began to spin his Bo-staff rapidly in his hands.
As the ninjas attacked, Donnie used the same technique Mikey had used, but in different way, and started to swung his Bo-staff towards each attacking ninja without stopping spinning it around. With both of his rapidly spinning staff's ends, Donnie gave a snappy blows to the ninjas' wrists or knuckles to make them wince in pain and drop their weapons, thus disarming them, before the turtle in purple whacked the disarmed ninjas either in the faces or chests, sending them flying into a different directions, or pulled the legs from under and making them to fall over to the rooftop.
"How about Tessens?" Arcee questioned elsewhere, showing off her Tessens. "When you fight with Tessens, it requires elegance in skills." the turtle in pink stated before she sent her Tessens to fly in boomerang style towards the three Foot Ninja while their attentions were elsewhere. Her Tessens caught then by surprise by slicing their swords' blades in half from the middle and above of the guards, leaving the ninjas weaponless.
"And that's not all what you can do with Tessens if you handle them properly! Let me show you!" Arcee added as she took her flying weapons from the air when they returned back to her.
Arcee then charged towards three Foot Ninja she had just disarmed, who in return charged towards her as well, though one at the time. The first ninja pulled his right hand back and attempted to strike Arcee with the straight palm-strike to her face to knock her over to the roof, However, as the first ninja shot his palm straight at Arcee, she dodged it with the somersault from under it. Then she flipped over the second ninja as he attempted to kick her with the spin-kick. And finally, the third and last ninja pulled out two hidden knives (Tanto) before spinning to his right and attempted to slit the turtle in pink's throat and slash her across the face with them. Arcee, however, threw herself on her knees to the floor and skidded under the knives while leaning at the same time her head backwards to avoid the close call.
After dodging each ninja's attack, both Arcee and the ninjas turned around to face each other again. However, before either side could make a new move against each other, the ninjas' pants suddenly fell down from their feet.
After Arcee had dodged the ninjas' attacks, she had quickly, mischievously, and unnoticed swung her Tessens towards each ninjas' pants and ended up to either cutting loose their belt ribbons that held their pants up or leaving in their pants a large cuts enough to make them fall off without anything to hold them up.
"ARGH!" The ninjas gasped in surprise as they realized what Arcee had mischievously done to their pants.
"Sorry, boys. But it was difficult to resist the temptation. My Tessens were up to the idea." Arcee tauntingly apologized her trick.
And as the Ninjas awkwardly crouched down to lift their pants back up, Arcee made her move by charging at the ninjas, before she jumped in the air and spin-kicked the third ninja with the knifes in the chest with her left foot. The turtle in pink's kick knocked the ninja backwards, causing him to drop his knives and wave his hands in the air in an attempt to maintain his balance. However, thanks to Arcee's trick, the ninja's fallen pants restricted the moving space of his legs, thus causing him to stumble into his own pants and fall backwards and into other two ninjas behind of his back. All ninjas fell over like the bunch of dominoes, landing into a pile to the roof.
"See? With Tessens, you really can do some miracles." the turtle in pink smirked cockily.
Louie scoffed at Arcee's words. "I don't know, dear sister. Can your Tessens do something what my Butterfly babies can? Take a look!" the turtle in black challenged as he was about to face about ten Foot Ninja, who had surrounded the turtle in black and were about to attack him from all sides at the same time.
Louie then jumped up into the air and flipped backwards, landing on his Butterfly swords which he struck by their tips to the roof. Balancing on his short swords, the turtle in black began to spin himself around while kicking the incoming ninjas into their faces and chests with both of his feet, knocking them all away one by one. Within a mere five-six seconds, all ten Foot Ninja were lying knocked out cold on the roof around of Louie, as the turtle in black was still performing his stunt.(1)
And with a quick move, Louie then released his right hand's grip from the handle of one of his swords and pulled his hand over himself while turning his body to the right, before he grabbed again from the handle of his sword underneath of his shell-back. Then he temporarily removed his left hand from his another sword's handle as he swung his together pressed legs from underneath of himself and in an arc upwards, before he grabbed with his free hand from the sword again and boosted himself upwards with them. The turtle in the black flew/flipped in the arc across the air, till he hit back on his feet to the roof, right next to Arcee.(1)
Panting slightly afterwards, Louie turned to his sister, who had observed her brother's stunt with "give me a break" look on her face.
"You saw that, sis? A stunt which I saw once in Sinbad: Legend of Seven Seas movie. Took some time to learn to do it properly, but I'd call that one a perfect success. And all thanks to my all-powerful Butterfly babies." Louie boasted, as he praised his Butterfly swords in his hands.(2)
"A boastful show-off" Arcee muttered under her breath.
Leo, while listening his brothers and sister boasting about their weapons, rolled his eyes.
"Still going on about the weapons, guys? Weren't you listening the Master Splinter?" Leo questioned, as the turtle in blue crossed his arms and prepared himself for the counter-attack against three last Large Foot Ninja in front of him.
Leo then lunged at the ninjas, swinging his Katanas towards them as he pulled his arms back from side to side. His Katanas blades sliced effortlessly the ninjas' blades in half. And when the Large Foot Ninja with Naginata attempted to attack Leo with his spear, Leo in return swung his right Katana towards the ninja's Naginata in a arc from below to upwards and then swung his left Katana in a arc over his head and to downwards. The first swing chopped the Naginata's blade off from the weapon's wooden haft and the second swing chopped the Naginata's haft in two from the middle, thus making the weapon useless.
After disarming the ninjas, Leo at first swung both his Katanas at the ninjas, whacking them all with his blades' flat sides, before he sent a snap-kick with his right leg on the ninja with the remains of Naginata, sending him flying over to the roof. Then turtle in blue spun around and roundhouse-kicked with his right foot the second ninja in the chest, sending him flying away too. And finally, he side-kicked with his left foot the remaining ninja in the chest, sending him over to the roof with the thud. The third ninja then attempted to get up from the roof, but Leo walked over to him and lifted his right foot onto his back, pinning the ninja back on his stomach to the roof.
"It's not the weapon that matters. It's the ninja who wields it." Leo reminded his family about Master Splinter's earlier lesson about the weapons, as he sheathed his Katanas.
The battle was then quickly over. All fifty-six ninjas were lying on the rooftop defeated, knocked out and groaning in pain.
"I guess that's it then." Arcee said, as the turtle in pink closed her Tessens and put them back in their holders.
"Yeah. They're all in a pretty pile." Mikey joked, as he put his Nunchucks away.
"If this was all the Foot is capable of, I have to say that I am disappointed." Raph boasted with the smirk, as he put his Sais away.
"Don't push your luck, bro. I think that we've seen nothing yet." Dom warned, as he put his Tonfas away.
Mary then made a quick count of the downed ninjas as she put her Naginata back into her shell-back. "Weird. I count only fifty-six ninjas, yet there was fifty-seven before the fight, including the scar-face. Where's Tatsu? Where did he go?" the turtle in turquoise questioned, looking around of her to the rooftop.
The other turtles also noticed that Tatsu had just vanished during the battle.
"You think that scar-faced baldie just fled?" Louie questioned, spinning his Butterfly swords before he put them back in their scabbards in his chest.
"That stinkin' coward." Raph growled in disgust, nearly pulling his Sais out again while growling in anger, until Leo walked next to his brother and landed his hand over his shoulder to calm him down.
"Easy, Raph." Leo soothed, before he turned to answer to Louie's question. "I think that Tatsu left to deliver my answer to the Shredder. He is not our concern anymore. We're finished here." turtle in blue declared.
"Well then..." Donnie began as he put his Bo-staff back in his shell-back. "Now when Leo's answer has been given and these Foot goons left as our message to the Shredder, I'd say our today's work is done."
The turtles couldn't agree more.
"TURTLES RULE!" The turtles cheered in victory: Mikey and Donnie high-threed each other, Leo and Raph hit their shells together.
"I LOVE BEING A TURTLE!" Mary and Arcee cheered, as the sisters took from each others hands and danced in circle.
Louie meanwhile slapped Dom in the shell-back as the turtle in white was waving his arms up while cheering along with his brothers and sisters in victory. Louie's slap was a bit too hard that it caused his brother to stumble forward for a step or two, before he managed to maintain his balance. Dom then stood upright and shot a glare at his brother for what he just did.
"What?" Louie defended while innocently shrugging his shoulders.
Just before the turtles were about to head back home, the door that led down into the building was smashed into a pieces, which caught the turtles by surprise and made them all to turn to the recently smashed door's direction. Then they saw a large - and awfully familiar - figure emerging out from the staircase behind of the breached doorway.
"HUN?!" the turtles cried in surprise.
"Oh, no! Not him again!" Donnie complained.
"(Sigh!) Here we go again. A new round of bruises before the first ones have had time to heal." Mary lamented, while paying a quick look at her fainted and nearly fully healed bruises from the last time they'd faced Hun in the combat.
"Don't worry, guys. He ain't that bad as he looks." Leo said, trying to inspire his brothers and sisters as most of them were growing worried about the next showdown with their old nemesis. "If we did beat him before, we can do it again."
"Yeah." Raph agreed.
"Sure! I'm ready for the second round with this over-sized meatball." Louie said determinedly. "And this time I'll eat him in one piece."
Hun smirked at the turtles while cracking his knuckles. "I've looked forward for this rematch." the giant admitted dangerously and with the desire for revenge in his eyes.
The turtles in response took out their weapons and prepared themselves.
"And your patience will be rewarded now, muscle-brain!" Louie taunted while taking his Butterfly swords and out turning them upside down in his hands, liking to use his swords' knuckle guards as a brass knuckles for a change.
"Then bring it, if you got the guts!" Leo dared, crossing his Katanas in front of his face.
"AHH!" Hun roared, as another lightning exploded across the sky, before the giant charged at the turtles.
"LET'S TURTLEIZE HIM!" the turtles shouted as they charged at Hun.
The turtles and Hun met in middle of the battlefield, before Hun then jumped up and punched Donnie hard in the chest, sending him flying and screaming away before the turtle in purple slammed onto the roof near the edge. Donnie was down and he remained there to lie on his side while holding with his hand his sore stomach.
Roaring furiously, Raph charged next at his nemesis and tried to slice him by the legs with his Sai, but missed as Hun jumped up and out of the Raph's Sai's way. Raph then jumped up, spun around and tried to sent a kick at him in the head, but the giant dodged it too. After two failed attempts, Hun then advanced and spun around, swinging his right leg at the turtle in red and tripping him up, sending him on his shell-back to the roof.
Dom then landed in front of Hun and spun himself around, swinging his Tonfas in sideways upwards and whacked the giant in the face with both of his weapons. Hun growled angrily as he glared down at the turtle in while, making the turtle in while gulp nervously. Hun then swung his left arm to his right side over Dom's head, before he swung his arm back to the left but downwards, aiming his hand at Dom's legs. The giant swept Dom's legs off from under, causing the turtle in white to land on his stomach and face to the roof. As Dom tried to crawl back up, Hun raised his both into fists squeezed hands over his head before he brought them down on Downed Dom's shell-back.
"AHH!" Dom cried in pain he felt Hun's massive fists landing hard onto him and crushing him against the roof. Hun then stood up and proceeded to kick Dom in the stomach with his right foot, sending him flying across the air to the other side of the roof like a football.
Louie then attacked next and tried to punch Hun in the face with his right hand's Butterfly swords knuckle guards, but Hun managed to grab from the turtle in black from his arm with his giant hand before Louie could lay a punch on the giant's face. Louie then tried to punch him with his still free left hand, but Hun managed to grab from it too. The turtle in black and the giant started to wrestle with each other while glaring at each other with hate and contempt. Though giving int it everything, Louie was unable to push his much bigger and stronger opponent back. Instead, Hun was pushing him back with little to no effort! Snorting in disgust, Hun suddenly pulled Louie off the roof by his arms and roughly threw him aside like the rag doll, making him roll rapidly and uncontrollably along the roof before he slammed a pretty hard and shell-first against the brick-fence at the edge of the rooftop, knocking the air out of him for a moment.
On her turn, Mary spun her Naginata wildly over her head, before she brought it down and stabbed it's blade into the roof and pole vaulted herself towards Hun. As the turtle in turquoise was flying towards Hun, she twisted her left hip, recoiled her leg and then extended it forward in hope to send a kick into the giant's face and knock him back. However, seeing her incoming, Hun was prepared for this and timely shot his left fist upwards, uppercutting the turtle in turquoise in the chest, cutting her off from her flight and attempted kick and sending her flying in arch across the air
"UH!" Mary gasped as she hit on her shell against the roof, knocking the air out of her.
"MARY!" Arcee cried in horror and rushed to her sister's side to check was she alright.
Leo then moved in next and attempted to send a kick at Hun in the guts, but the giant grabbed from his leg with both hands and flung him away from him. Leo screamed as he flew over Mikey's head, before he landed face first onto the roof and slid on his stomach along the wetty surface of the roof a some distance away from Hun before he finally stopped.
Mikey then attacked Hun next, spinning his Nunchucks wildly in his hands. The turtle in orange tried to whack the giant with his weapons, but Hun, despite his size and massive build, moved out of the way surprisingly fast, causing Mikey to miss him and at the same time mistakenly let his guard down. Hun then grabbed with both hands Mikey from his shell and picked him up. The giant lifted the screaming turtle in orange over his head before throwing him towards recovering Donnie and Dom, causing him to land on both of them and sending all three brothers rolling further away along the roof till they stopped, tangled with each other into a pile.
As Hun was awaiting/looking for his next opponent, the Hun failed to see an arrow that flew past and a mere inch away his faces.
"AHH!" the giant let out, feeling the sharp edge of the arrowhead scratching his left cheek, while leaving a harmless but slightly bleeding superficial wound. The scratch from the arrowhead caused the giant to turn his attention momentarily away from the turtles as he pressed his left hand over the wound in his cheek.
Growling in fury, the giant turned to the direction where the arrow had came from and saw Arcee, mad at Hun for what he did to Mary just a moment ago, charging at her while screaming from top of her lungs in anger.
Arcee tried butterfly-kick Hun in the face, but before either of her feet could even his the giant in middle of her kick, Hun grabbed from both of the turtle in pink's legs, before he roughly picked her up and lifted her over his head. Hun then violently slammed Arcee onto the roof, knocking the air out of her and she fell half-limp from the impact. Hun then let go of Arcee's feet, only to grab from them again only with his right hand before he lifted her up from the roof. Hun then seized Arcee's arms with his left hand and then lifted her over his head. Tightening his grip tighter around of Arcee's limbs, Hun started to pull from Arcee's hands and feet in attempt to tear her apart from the middle.
"AHHH!" Arcee groaned in pain as she was being pulled by her arms and feet to the opposite directions
Louie then, after recovering from the impact against the rooftop's fence and seeing Arcee in trouble in Hun's hands, rushed towards Hun and leaped onto the giant's shoulders, wrapping his left arm arm around his neck while hitting him on the head with the other.
"LET MY SISTER GO, YOU FAT-HEADED OAF!" Louie demanded as he kept hitting the giant on the head.
At the sight of the turtle in black hanging onto his shoulders, Hun released Arcee and dropped her onto the roof, next to his feet.
"Alright, fine! THEN YOU INSTEAD, YOU FREAKISH GECKO!" Hun declared as he grabbed with both hands from Louie's arm around of his neck and pulled the turtle in black over his shoulder and slamming him face-first onto the roof.
"AH!" Louie groaned upon landing.
Hun then proceeded by lifting Louie up by his left arm and then violently slammed him against the roof on his right side, before he lifted Louie up again and slammed him against the roof on his left side. Each time he slammed him hard on his chest to the roof, Louie let the pained groan out of his mouth.
"Enough, freak?" Hun mockingly asked, as Louie weakly lifted his bloodied face up to glare at Hun defiantly in the eyes, gritting his teeth in pain and effort.
"Good..." Hun smirked sadistically "Because I was JUST WARMING UP!" the giant roared, before he resumed lifting and swinging Louie from side to side and slamming him face-first against the roof again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again and again!
Elsewhere, Mary and Raph were helping Leo to get up before all three turtles turned to look into Hun's direction, and they all gasped in horror as they saw Hun picking up Louie and holding him up in the air. Chuckling sadistically, Hun lifted his right leg up and stomped it hard onto in his feet lying Arcee's stomach, making the turtle in pink let out the pained cry as Hun's leg landed hard on her stomach.
"First I'll break your neck with one nice hard punch, and then your freakish sister is next!" Hun threatened in front of from the repeating slamming against the roof weakened Louie's face, before he raised his right fist up and prepared to punch the turtle in black in the head, as a new lightning flashed across the stormy sky.
"We have to help hem!" Mary half-screamed in fear for his brother and sister.
Thinking quickly, Raph turned to Mary to explain his plan.
"Hey, Mary! Your Naginata! Let's do that fancy slingshot thing! Aim me over Hun's head!" Raph instructed as he jumped up and began run towards Hun.(3)
Mary nodded in agreement before the turtle in turquoise jumped back up and followed her brother, picking her Naginata up from the roof.
Leo quickly got a clue what Raph and Mary were about to do, and got back up himself. "And I'll take care of the rest." he said with an angry growl.
Mary managed quickly catch up with Raph, even managing to get past him and get a small distance ahead of his brother. Then, she turned around and stretched out her Naginata towards her brother with both hands, while holding from her weapon's haft from beneath of its blade.
"ALRIGHT RAPH! HERE WE GO!" Mary shouted.
Raph then dived forward and grabbed from the end of his sister's Naginata's haft with both hands, allowing Mary to spin herself around and swing Raph around of her for a couple times to pick up the pace, before the turtle in turquoise swung with all her strength her weapon upwards, slingshotting her brother high into the air and over unsuspecting Hun's head.(3)
And as this was happening, Leo started running towards Hun, growling angrily before it turned into a furious roar from the top of his lungs as the turtle in blue jumped up into the air and dived towards Hun, as another lightning flashed across the sky.
Before Hun could punch Louie in the face with the neck-breaking force, Raph suddenly landed behind of his back and crouched down, anchoring himself to the roof with his Sais. And at that very moment, Leo appeared and kicked the giant right in the chest with full force, knocking him back and forcing him to let go of Louie and lift his leg off from Arcee before the giant tripped over of Raph's shell and fell with the loud thud onto his back to the roof.
Raph instantly pulled his Sais off the roof and rushed to Louie's side, lifting his still weakened brother up and over his shoulders to carry him away from the battle to recover. Mary meanwhile rushed to her sister's side and picked her up, wrapping her left arm around Arcee's waist and lifting her right arm over her shoulders to give her sister a support.
While his brother and sister were taking his downed siblings away from the battlefield, Leo stayed behind to cover their retreat and prepared himself to face Hun in one-on-one combat. Hun growled as he picked himself up from the roof and turned to glare at Leo.
Then the giant spotted the Katana, which leo had thrown away earlier before the battle with the Foot, lying in the roof next to him. Hun smirked and picked the sword up before he grabbed from the sword's handle and pulled the blade out from its scabbard. The master Toshi Kurahawa's masterpiece's pearl white blade shone brightly as a new lightning flashed out of the clouds and against the sky.
"AAHHHH!" Hun roared, as he dropped the sword's scabbard and grabbed from the sword's handle with both hands, raised it over his head and charged at Leo.
As the thunder roared and the lightnings flashed against the sky above of the battlefield, Leo and Hun engaged each other into a furious duel. As the two met in middle of the battlefield, the giant tried first to slice Leo over the head with his Katana, but Leo lifted up one of his own swords and blocked it, before the turtle in blue tried in his turn to slice him in the chest with both of his blades, but Hun blocked it by quickly turning the blade upside down in his hands. Hun then tried to slice him by the legs to cripple him, but missed as Leo jumped over it. Hun then tried to send a kick at Leo's head, but the turtle in blue dodged it as well by leaning his head down. Hun then raised his sword up and tried to bring it down on Leo for another slice, only for the turtle in blue to dodge it by swiftly moving out of its way to Hun's left side. Hun then tried to slice him again, but Leo backed away out of its way. The giant charged at the turtle in blue again and attempted to slice him with his Katana, which Leo, however, blocked with both of his swords. Hun then began to swing his Katana at Leo with inceasing pace, every blow being more fiercer and heavier than former, forcing Leo to retreat with every blow he barely managed to counter and block with his swords. After three-six attempts, Hun raised his sword up and attempted to slice Leo again, but this time Leo dodged it from under. Hun then attempted to slice him again, but Leo dodged that one too by jumping up into the air. Leo then flipped over Hun's head, getting behind of his back, before the turtle in blue fell back down and kicked the giant in the back.
The rest of the turtles outside of the battlefield cheered for Leo with the encouraging shouts.
"WOO!" Donnie wooed, raising his hands up.
"GOOD ONE, LEO!" Dom praised.
"YEEHAW!" Mikey cheered happily, waving his Nunchucks into the air.
"GO, LEO! GO!" Arcee encouraged, cupping her hands around of her mouth so that Leo could hear her.
"OH-HO, YEAH!" Mary laughed.
"SHOW 'IM, BRO!" Raph encouraged, punching the air in front of him.
"SLICE THAT LARD-BUTT INTO HAGGIS!" Louie encouraged as well, waving his Butterfly swords in the air.
Leo's kick caused Hun to stumble forward, towards the building's skylight window, but he quickly managed to regain his balance.
Now really pissed off, Hun turned partially back to Leo and then charged back at the turtle in blue, and during of his charge, the giant slowly raised his Katana up and ready for the another attack. When Hun was close enough, he swung his sword harder than ever before towards Leo and managed to knock the turtle in blue's both Katanas out of his hands, catching him by surprise.
The other turtles' eyes went wide and some of them either gasped or held their breath in shock as they saw Hun knocking Leo's Katanas out of his hands with his own Katana.
Leo watched as his precious Katanas hit to the roof and slid along the roof's wetty surface away from Leo's reach while spinning around. Leo then turned back to Hun who held his Katana over Leo's head while advancing at him menacingly. The other turtles, who were too far away to help, could only watch in horror as Hun moved in to kill their brother.
"NO! LEO!" Raph cried loudly.
"GET OUT OF THERE!" Dom cried.
Hun kept advancing at Leo as Leo nervously backed off from Hun.
"GET BACK!" Donnie cried.
"MOVE, LEO! MOVE!" Louie cried.
Hun then raised his sword over his head, ready to strike and kill Leo, as another lightning exploded and flashed across the sky behind of Hun's back.
"LOOK OUT!" Mikey shouted.
"NO!" Mary cried in horror.
"LEO-OOOO!" Arcee cried with teary eyes, before the turtle in pink turned her eyes away, refusing to or unable to watch as her big brother was about to get killed.
As Hun was about to bring his sword down on Leo to split his head in two and kill him, Leo fearlessly, valiantly and with honor charged forward and flipped at Hun... and then the turtle in blue began to send a series of kicks into Hun's chest.
"Ya! Ya! Ya! Ya! Ya! Ya! Ya! Ya! Ya! Ya! YA! YA! YA! YA! YA! YA! YA! YA! YA! YA! HAA!" turtle in blue cried at each kick he sent alternately with both of his lfeet into Hun's chest, and each kick forced the giant back step by step and towards the skylight window. And with the very last kick, Leo sent his enemy crashing through of the skylight's glass!
"AHHHH!" the giant fell screaming down into the Dōjō, landing with the heavy and loud thud on his back to the room's floor.
After the landing, Hun remained to lie in there in middle of the floor of the Dōjō.
"Oooouch." the defeated giant groaned.
Leo looked down into the room at his defeated enemy for a moment, before he turned away from the skylight window. until he started to wobble a little, exhausted. And no wonder, because he had used much of his energy into the duel with Hun.
His brothers and sisters instantly ran to their exhausted brother's side. Mikey and Donnie quickly grabbed on their brother before he could fall over onto the roof, and allowed their brother to lift his arms over their shoulders.
"Are you okay, Leo!" Arcee asked half-relieved and half-frantically.
Leo nodded to his sister with the warm smile. "I'm okay, Arcee. Don't worry, I'll live." he assured softly.
Completely relieved and her eyes filling with the tears of happiness, Arcee couldn't hold herself back and ran towards her brother, locking him into a hug. Though slightly surprised, Leo quickly accepted her little sister's embrace, as she silently sobbed in her brother's shoulder out of relief that their big brother was still okay and alive. Leo then lifted his arms off from Donnie's and Mikey's shoulders and wrapped them around of Arcee, comforting his little sister.
"There, there, sister." Leo gently soothed.
Arcee then broke from the hug and did her best to gather her composure, wiping the tears away from her eyes.
"Ah. I think we'll sleep well tonight." Mikey stated.
"Yeah, though I think I'm gonna be sore tomorrow." Louie said, rubbing his slightly sore left arm.
"That what you just did, Leo, that was definitely impressive." Dom praised, mentioning a technique Leo defeated Hun with.
"Maybe, bro, but that was not easy stunt." Donnie remarked.
Raph and Mary both then came over to the rest of their family, carrying one of Leo's swords each.
"I think you lost these, Leo." Mary said as she held one sword she was carrying up by its blade with one hand, as she was carrying her Naginata in her another.
"Here, bro." Raph said, as he held another sword up by its blade with both hands.
Mikey and Donnie then let go of Leo, who walked to his siblings and took his swords back from them.
"Thanks guys." Leo thanked, as he sheathed his blades.
Unknown to the turtles, on the rooftop of the opposite building, John, unmasked Jennika and two other mysterious men had been watching the turtles and seen them emerging victorious over the Foot Ninja and Hun. There was a small smile on John's lips and even more visible one on Jennika's, telling that they were both relieved and proud of the turtles' decision to oppose Shredder instead of joining him.
And with that, the bald-headed man then lifted up his left arm and activated his watch's holograp screen, showing the Council in it.
"Your report?" the woman asked.
"Honored Council members." the bald-headed man started. "It appears that the turtles are against him after all."
Whether the Council members were relieved about this report, they didn't show it on their stern faces.
"Good." the skinny man simply said.
Jennika then turned to the Council. "My lords? Could this be a perfect timing to let the turtles know that they're not standing against him alone?"
"No. Not yet, Jennika." the chubby replied almost immediately.
Jennika stared at the Council, taken aback by their response."
"We are not yet..." the woman started.
"... completely sure if the enemy..." the skinny continued.
"... of our enemy is our friend." the chubby finished.
"We need more information..." the woman started.
"... on whether the turtles..." the skinny continued.
"... are worthy of our trust..." the chubby continued.
"... or not." the woman finished.
"Your orders then?" Jennika requested.
"Monitor them further..." the woman instructed.
"... and keep us informed." the chubby added.
Jennika, John and the bald-headed man nodded to their mysterious masters, before the latter deactivated the hologram screen and all three of them remused observing the turtles.
Back on the rooftop, Arcee went into a doctor mode and started to check if any of her siblings had suffered further injuries beyond of the mere bruises and small cuts during of the fights against both the Foot and Hun, afterwards she proceeded to treat the bruises and small wounds with the disinfectant and plasters from her belt's pockets.
And while Arcee was treating her siblings injuries, Louie spotted the Katana that Saki had given Leo yesterday, and what Hun had used against Leo in their duel, lying on the roof neck to the skylight. Hun must've most likely dropped it from his hands before he fell through of the skylight window into the building. And next to it, albeit a short distance away from it was lying its empty scabbard.
The turtle in black then walked towards the abandoned Katana and picked it up from the floor. Louie then walked to the sword's scabbard and picked it up as well. As the turtle in black began to sheathe the sword, he couldn't help but admire the Katana's well crafted blade... its pearly white, smooth and reflective blade.
"Wow. Leo was right. This babe is a masterpiece." Louie muttered with admiration, before he finally sheathed the blade.
"Louie? What are you doing?" Leo questioned dead-seriously, prompting the turtle in black to turn around to his siblings.
"And why exactly is that thing in your hands?" Raph questioned with the disapproval look on his face when he saw that certain sword in his brother's hands.
"Well... Well, I... I was... I was thinking... thinking that maybe... maybe I could... I could..." Louie stuttered, trying to find the way to explain.
However, the others already guessed what he was about to say.
""That maybe you could keep it?"" Dom questioned rhetorically. "Out of the question, Louie!" the turtle in white added sternly.
"Yeah! There's no way we're gonna bring that thing home with us!" Raph agreed. "In case you did forget, Louie, Leo almost sold his soul to the devil because of the temptation of that thing." the turtle in red reminded.
Leo frowned at Raph, not wanting anyone to reminded him of his biggest mistake in his life, even if it is not directly said to him.
"Besides, brother, that is the very same sword with which Tatsu nearly killed our Sensei's Sensei." Mary reminded.
"And that's why we forbid you from keeping it." Dom said firmly.
However, Louie was not gonna give up.
"C'mon, guys! Such of cool sword would fit perfectly to my collection of trophies. Besides, this masterpiece is crafted by the master Toshi Kurahawa himself." Louie said.
"So said Shredder, Louie. Don't forget that he lied to me about everything the whole time." Leo reminded his brother, still disapproval of him keeping the blade given to him by the liar and murderer under of the disguise of the "honorable" man.
"Perhaps he also lied about this sword's origins, Louie." Dom said.
"Yeah." And who knows, maybe that blade is nothing more than just the fake." Raph agreed.
"Maybe that what the Shredder told about this sword was a lie and maybe it wasn't a lie at all, even from the Shredder's mouth. And I don't think that this blade is a fake. I do not have a lot of knowledge from ancient Japanese swordsmiths nor their works or methods as you do, Leo, but if I remember correctly, doesn't the swordsmiths usually carve some sort of writings into the flat sides of the blades to symbolize either the sword's or its wielder's purpose." Louie questioned, before he pulled the sword's blade partially put of its scabbard and showed the Japanese writings on its blade's flat side to Leo for him to read.
"戦いで私を振るう主人に忠実に仕えます"
"I WILL FAITHFULLY SERVE THE MASTER WHO WIELDS ME IN BATTLE."(4)
After Louie had assumed that Leo had read the writings, the turtle in black sheathed the blade again.
"Because of that, if this blade is really master Toshi Kurahawa's handwork, it is unique and therefore a perfect collector's item. It would be a shame and dishonorable towards one of the most finest swordsmiths to throw this babe away just like that, or leave this masterpiece in the hands of these Foot goons, who'd want to befoul its purpose further. Besides, I'd like to have a Katana added into my collection." the turtle in black said.
"Louie..." Leo tried, but was cut short by his insisting brother.
"C'mon, Leo. This sword ain't even close that bad than what the Sword of Tengu is. Master Splinter of course said that I cannot add that weapon into my collection, but he didn't say anything like that about this one. Besides, if it's in my room, you or Master Splinter won't ever have to see it again. How does that sound?" Louie added.
Leo started to consider of Louie's words and his point in them. Leo silently acknowledged that his brother was an eager collector of the items, especially if they were taken from the defeated foes as a trophies and mementos of their victories. Louie had kept doing this hobby ever since of them defeating Stockman and his Mousers. Leo also had to admit that while he was disapproval towards the idea of keeping the blade, his brother got a point. This sword was the second sword they've either got or taken from Foot, but unlike with the Sword of Tengu, which Louie was forbidden to touch, he had no the same bounds with this one, even if it has been a bad history in the hands of the Foot.
Eventually, though still slightly reluctantly, Leo decided to relent to Louie's request to keep the sword.
"Alright then, bro." the turtle in blue said. "You can keep that blade, but only on condition that you keep it out of sight of both Sensei and me. Is that clear?"
Both Dom's and Raph's eyes widened and their mouths dropped open in disbelief after hearing that.
"Thanks, Leo." Louie thanked as the turtle in black tied the sword on his shell-back. "An no worries, big brother. I won't even let you enter into my room when this babe is hanging on my wall." Louie added smugly.
"I bet you do." Leo shot back.
After Leo had said that, both Dom and Raph turned to Louie and frowned at him. Neither of them wasn't pleased of Louie managing to convince - or at least in Dom's eyes, manipulate - Leo into allowing him to keep the Foot Clan's blade. Seeing his brother frowning at him, Louie merely shrugged his shoulders with the smug look still on his face.
Before any of them managed to say a word against of Leo's decision, Leo spoke up first, snapping all three of his would-be arguing brothers out of their thoughts.
"Come on, guys. We're finished here." Leo told his siblings. "Let's go home."
"Gladly, bro. I'm already beat." Donnie stated.
"Yeah. I'm aching from everywhere." Mary agreed.
"Well, you did not had to go through that beating like I did, sister." Louie retorted.
"Ah! A hot bath would do some good right about now." Arcee said.
"Especially a nice, comforting and warm bed." Mikey added.
As the turtles were about to leave from the rooftop and head back home, Leo suddenly noticed an unpleasant surprise in front of them.
"Huh? Oh! Shell!" Leo cursed.
"What is it, Leo?" Mary asked as she rushed her brother's side, before she looked forward at what Leo was seeing and saw it herself.
"Ugh! Not again!" the turtle in turquoise lamented.
The turtles were then confronted by another and fresh group of Foot Ninja that jumped from the shadows in front of them, preventing the turtles from leaving. And this time, there was two times more ninjas than was was in the first round. After landing onto the rooftop, the ninjas instantly pulled out their various set of weapons: most notably Ninjato-swords, Staves, Kamas and Naginatas. And in addition of all of them, Tatsu himself landed in front of his fresh troops, wielding this time two fine-crafted Katanas with long, broad and curved blades.
"And you Kappas aren't going anywhere!" Tatsu said venomously, raising one of his Katanas up and pointed with it at the turtles for a moment before he lowered it back down.
The turtles either groaned in frustration or rolled their eyes at the fact that they had to fight off this round of Foot Ninja and Tatsu before they could leave.
"Seriously? I thought that we already left a big message enough." Dom lamented.
The turtles, seeing no other way to get out of this, took their weapons out again and resumed their natural battle stances, ready to take on Tatsu and his ninjas, no matter how tired they already were.
"Once again, Kappa, we're face-to-face on the battlefield. As if some invisible force would lead us together time and time again. Like the old saying tells: What goes around, comes around." Tatsu remarked, finding it ironic that he and the turtles have found themselves in the same position for the third time in such of short time.
Then, the ninja master raised his Katana up again and pointed with it accusingly at the turtles. "Yet I haven't forgotten how you imbecilic fools made the fool out of me the last time we met, and especially the last time before that. But now, I've been granted with another chance to avenge my twice wounded pride. And my revenge will be terrible! I'll promise you that!" he hissed, chuckling at the though of vengeance against the turtles.
"Jeez! And I thought that the cold sewer water could help to cool his fires a little bit." Mikey joked with the chuckle, before Dom whacked him on top of the head with his Tonfa to make him stop joking around.
"OW!" Mikey yelped.
"No fooling around, Mikey." the turtle in white hissed.
"Don't let the look of the situation fool you, Tatsu. This may as well end up with the same result as the two last times." Mary cautioned, while pointing with her Naginata's blade at their enemy ninja master.
Tatsu chuckled ominously. "You predictable, overconfident fool! You yourself have allowed the situation to deceive you from the very beginning. You've walked into the Dragon's den. You've rejected the offer to join us, which is offensive and unforgivable act against our clan's honor, So all of you need to be punished.
"Big talk, coming from some bald-headed scar-face whom we have managed to beat twice already." Raph taunted, while spinning his Sais in his hands.
"So why wouldn't we succeed in defeating you for the third time?" Arcee questioned, holding her Tessens up and wide open.
"Hey! That would be a newest record! Tatsu leading with one defeat ahead of Hun! Ironic, isn't it?" Mikey joked again, earning another whack on top of the head from Dom's Tonfa.
"OW!" Mikey yelped again.
"I said "no fooling around", Mikey! Don't you hear me?!" Dom hissed again.
"ENOUGH OF ALL THE BLABBER! BRING IT ON!" Raph dared, impatient and eager to have some piece of their nemesis.
Tatsu let out another ominous chuckle, before she turned to look at Arcee with the shivers-giving cold glare.
"Because this time, lady Kappa, I do not need to face all of you alone. You see, I brought here someone who is as eager to face you as I am." Tatsu said tauntingly, before he and his ninjas divided into two groups and moved to the sides as if to make space or way for someone.
This was very soon proved to be correct, as a shadowy figure of a tall man, who wore a samurai-styled armor and black cape that waved in the wind, showed up from the shadows and landed on the roof, in front of the turtles. This man stared at the turtles with the dangerous and ice-cold glare.
The turtles, feeling an awful tension growing inside of their chests as they slowly came to realize that who was this man, prepared themselves to the fight, which would perhaps be their the most biggest and hardest fight of their lives that would haunt them in their worst nightmares, if they were ever gonna make it from this alive.
As the rain got heavier and the lightning got intensified, the armored man then started to walk through of his small into two groups divided army - which members instantly fell on their knees to the rooftop and bowed deep down in order to express respect to this man as he walked past them - until he was standing in front of them, and the ninjas quickly closed the gap behind of this man before they too turned back to the turtles.
This man then spoke up, raising up his left hand next to his head to show his Tekkō-kagi claws attached to his gauntlet.
"THOSE WHO ARE NOT WITH ME, ARE AGAINST ME!" the armored man roared angrily, and his familiar-sounding shivers giving voice confirmed his identity to the turtles. "AND, I'LL SLAY ANYONE WHO DARES TO STAND AGAINST THE SHREDDER! MWA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HAA!"
As the Shredder laughed evilly - with his laugh echoing in the stormy sky - he raised his hands above of his head as more lightning went off in the sky, illuminating the evil Foot leader in his full armor and Kabuto-helmet on his head.
There was only one though in the turtles' heads. "Fight and die with honor."
THE END/TO BE CONTINUED...
TRIVIA
1) = The move Louie performed is based on somehow similar stunt which Sinbad pulled on the soldiers in the first fight scene in the film Sinbad: Legend of Seven Seas movie.
2) = There is a small but purposeful error in Louie's line when he mentioned that he saw the move he just pulled out in Sinbad: Legend of Seven Seas movie. You see, this episode "The Shredder Strikes, Part 1" was aired April 12th, 2003 while Sinbad: Legend of Seven Seas movie was aired July 2th, 2003, which is about two months after this episode. I'm mostly aiming my version of the series, as well as the original canon series was, to the year 2003 of the Real World's timeline, even though I might make some exceptions in it.
3) = The "Fancy slingshot thing" Raph mentioned and which he and Mary performed together is based on the slingshot-stunt which Raph and Donne pulled on Karai's hummer-car in TMNT 2014 film's Snow-Chase scene.
4) = In the original canon series, there was no Japanese writings in the sword Saki gave to Leonardo after their meeting, but I decided to give it such, maybe as a small symbolic meaning of the sword's purpose for the climax battle in the end of this episode. According to the writings I gave to it, the sword kind of switches its allegiance between warriors. Saki gave the sword to Leo so that it could serve him as its new master, which Leo rejected in the end, leading the sword to switch its allegiance to Hun, who gladly accepted it in his fight against Leo. However, despite that, it's still just a regular sword with no will of its own nor supernatural abilities.
