TMNT 2003 S1: Four Turtles More

Fifteen years have passed since the accident. Now, eight turtles, six brothers and two sisters, born as mutants in the sewers and trained as ninjas by a rat, are forced to leave their destroyed underground home and take the first step into a surface world where they face many adventures and meet new friends and foes, until they meet their toughest opponent ever, The Shredder.

animegamefanatic: Never thought of that. And yes. I laughed too many times over to watch Splinter's unsuccessful attempts to summon the Battle Shell, only to mess with it around the warehouse.

= THE SHREDDER STRIKES PART 2. PART 6.=

Later, once Leo and Mary had got inside the Battle Shell, Donnie had driven the vehicle to much safer place where they could catch their breath and think of their next move without the fear of being discovered by the Foot. And during of their way, Arcee took another look at Mikey's, Louie's and Dom's injuries. Afterwards she had told to Mikey and Dom that their sprained ankle and arm should be alright in about a week or so. However, in the case of Louie's injuries, the turtle in pink had apologetically said that it takes much longer from him to heal than his brothers. According to Arcee's calculation, it would take from four to six weeks or maybe a few months, depending on the severety of his injuries, much to Louie's chargin.

After parking the Battle Shell to the safer spot, all the turtles gathered together in the back, all too happy to be back together after spending the whole night apart and trying to survive from the Foot's relentless manhunt on them.

"Good to see you again, Leo and Mary." Mikey said happily, while sitting on the chair, having put his injured leg over his other knee.

"And we're glad to see that all of you are fine too." Mary said, wrapping her arm around Arcee, who responded by hugging her big sister back.

"You tell me, sis." Donnie agreed, while having wrapped his right arm over Leo's shoulders. "We were all pretty worried." the turtle in opurple admitted.

"So, are we safe now?" Arcee asked, eyeing nervously towards the barred window of the Battle Shell, thinking that at any moment someone with the yellow-eyed black ninja-mask would peek inside the Battle Shell through of the bars. "Could Foot find us from here?"

"Don't you worry, sis." Donnie said assuringly as he let go of Leo and turned to Arcee. "I drove us a few blocks away from the area where Foot is still looking for us. And when they finally get here, which I reckon will be two hours, twenty-three minutes and sixteen seconds after the first lights of the dawn. And by that time we'll be already out of here and far away from their reach... in theory."

"Well, anyway, my children." Master Splinter said as he came to his children, who all turned to him. "What matters now, is that you're all safe."

However, after saying those worse, Splinter unexpectedly raised his hand and slapped every turtle hard on the right cheek, making them all yelp in pain and put their hands over their the spot their father had just slapped on.

"OW!" Leo, Mikey, Arcee and Dom yelped.

"Hey!" Donnie complained.

"No hitting our wounded, remember?!" Louie whinel melodramatically.

"Father? Why did you do that?" Arcee asked, a bit shocked by her father's actions again.

"Yeah!" Raph agreed. "What was that for?"

"What do you think? For being so foolish!" Splinter said sternly. "You were only supposed to deliver Leonardo's answer and then get straight back home, no to engage the Shredder himself to the fight you couldn't possibly win! WHAT HAPPENED?!"

Each turtle winced at their father's sharp and loud question, before they lowered their heads down in shame.

"It wasn't our fault, father." Arcee spoke up first with the timid and innocent voice, making Splinter turn to her with the stern frown on his face, waiting for explanation. "We were going to leave after we gave the Shredder Leo's answer, but... they wouldn't allow us to leave."

"Not alive at least." Louie remarked.

"Yeah! After we'd beaten a handful of his Foot Ninja and Hun, the Shred-head and Tatsu came and threw a whole frickin army of their goons upon us!" Raph explained further. "You try to leave when there's those ninja-bastards swarming everywhere blocking your every mean to escape."

"And not to mention about the Shredder and Tatsu throwing themselves on us." Mary finished.

After hearing that, Splinter calmed down a bit and let out a deep sigh.

"Perhaps... I am to blame for this as well." the old rat master said, causing his children to look at him in confusion. "I should have never let you go to try to face the Shredder all by yourselves. He is too skilled and all too powerful even against all eight of you together."

"And now you're telling that to us?!" Dom exclaimed, slightly angry that their father hadn't told them such of simple detail about their enemy a bit earlier. "After both he and Tatsu nearly knocked us out of our shells?!"

"Well, I already know without even telling to me." Donnie said, before the turtle in purple showed his dark-green bruises he had in his arms. "I got that bruises that got bruises."

"And that big piece of tin-can broke my arm, if some of you guys haven't yet noticed!" Louie whined, showing them his broken arm. "I can't use this arm for anything for a long time, thanks to him!"

"I guess we did underestimate him and his abilities, like... Well... Did anyone else see the way how the Shredder walked straight through of fire, without the flames and extreme heat affecting him in any way?" Leo said, remembering how Shredder walked through of the wall of fire back at his warehouse.

"He did?" Arcee gasped in shock and surprise. "But how's that even possible? He could have been roasted alive inside his armor within seconds in the flames and the extreme heat!"

"Tell that to the guy who simply walked out of the fiery inferno inside his building completely unharmed." Mikey told his sister, remembering him, Donnie and Dom having seen the Shredder walking out of his building, unaffected by the flames and the heat.

Marietta was even more shocked to hear this. "You're kidding right? He walked out of the burning building unharmed, even though he fell all the way down and disappeared into the flames inside?" the turtle in turquoise asked, remembering having sent the Shredder off the edge of the crumbling rooftop and into the fiery inferno below by herself.

"Trust me when I tell you this, Mary. Me, Mikey and Dom, we all saw that." Donnie comfirmed.

"Yeah, as if he was like, the Shreddinator or something." the turtle in orange added, sounding like Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Splinter then spoke up again, drawing all the turtles' attentions to himself. "You should consider yourself to be lucky for making it out of there with your lives. Many have already faced the Shredder in the battle and only a very few have made it out alive to tell the tale. However, we're not in the clear waters yet."

"How so, master?" Dom asked.

"Because you eight have stirred the hornets' nest. The Shredder and his entire army of Foot Ninja are still out there hunting us down, and he will not rest until he finds us. In worst case, he could even turn the entire New York City upside down, just to find any clues that could lead him to us, and he has no qualms in using the methods that can be life-threatening not only to us, but also to bystanders. Do you eight understand what this means?" Splinter explained.

Arcee was left utterly disturbed when she quickly figured out what Splinter meant exactly. "You mean... you mean... you mean that he would go so far as to mass murder innocent citizens just to draw us out if he has to?" the turtle in pink gulped.

"That would be one of the many potential atrocities he'd do just to find us." Splinter said grimly.

"Oh my god." Arcee sighed, imagining in her head such of potential event taking place in some area, that is frequently used by the civilians and which is close of being underground alonmg with the sewer tunnels, such as some subway station. The very thought of Foot taking over the station by force, taking the number of terrified innocent people as hostages and starting to mercilessly execute them down to the last man, woman and even child, staining the station's floor and walls with the murdered people's blood, just to draw them out of hiding made her feel sick by her stomach.(1)

"We can't let that happen!" the turtle in pink exclaimed as she turned to her family. "We seriously have to do something! We have to end this before things get far worse! We have to stop him!"

"How exactly, sister?!" Dom questioned. "We were lucky to escape from his clutches alive. Going back there is close of being a suicide with no chance of getting away this time."

"Then what are you suggesting, Dom?! Just hiding and running, and letting the Shredder and the Foot to spread their manhunt and massmurders all over the entire New York City because of us? Letting the innocent people to suffer the horrible death at the hands of that devil, just like Master Yoshi did, just to save our own shells?!" Arcee shot back angrily, before turning her shell to her brother and crossing her arms. "I'm sorry, Domenico, but at least I won't let that happen!"

"So you're suggesting that we surrender ourselves to the Shredder like lambs to the slaughter just like that to prevent him from turning the whole city upside down?!

"Nuh-uh! There is NO WAY I'd surrender myself to anyone just like that!" Raph swore, punching his palm. "Not without the fight at least!"

"Hear, hear!" Louie agreed. "I agree with Raph! Besides, I got scores to settle with that walking tin-can for what he did to me!"

"And there's NO WAY I'd hide and run from anyone! I'd rather face the death itself than frun from it!" Raph added, shaking his fists in the firm determination.

"And it takes a lot more than one broken limb to take out one ninja turtle, ya hear me?! Heck, it needs all four broken limbs to take the turtle down!" Louie exclaimed boastfully.

"But you guys witnessed the Shredder's power with your own eyes." Donnie spoke in on his turn. "No matter how hard we tried, we couldn't even inflict a single dent into his armor the last time, and he dealt all of us with little to no effort at all, nearly even killing us. So tell me, how are we supposed to beat him?"

The silence fell upon the turtles, each one of them realizing that none of them had a single idea of how they could beat the Shredder.

"Donnie is right." Mary admitted downhearted. "It seems like defeating the Shredder is impossible."

The whole family seemed lost, and some of them even seemed to be ready to just give up from all the hope.

However, that was then when Leo stepped in to speak up his mind, taking fully in his leader mode.

"Don't give me that look, guys. Nothing is impossible. Extremely difficult and challenging maybe, but never impossible. And if we let go of all hope just like that, we'll be disgracing Master Yoshi's memory, his legacy and the whole Way of Bushido. And I see that Arcee is right. We have to stop the Shredder here and now. Though even I'm not sure how we can do it, but one way or another, we will do it. All we have to do, is to figure it out how. And I'm not going to rest until we find the way to defeat the Shredder." the turtle in blue said, earning a proud smile from Master Splinter for his refusal to give up, no matter how desperate the whole situation was.

"Hear, hear!" Louie said, voicing his agreement with the turtle in blue.

"Then let's do it!" Raph said, punching his palm.

"But how?" Mary asked. "We still don't have a plan, and we haven't even figured out a way to beat him yet."

The family nodded to Mary's point before each turtle fell silent again, thinking hard of the way how they could beat the Shredder.

That was until Splinter spoke up.

"We'll let him find us."

Every turtle was snapped out of their thoughts and they turned to stare at their master with mixed surprised, confused and shocked looks on their faces.

"WHAT?!" they all exclaimed.

"The Shredder thinks that his enemies will run and hide from him like cowards after witnessing his so called "invincible" power for the first time. However, under his arrogance, he may not be expecting something very unexpected. And if we play our cards right, that might be what we need to take him down for good." Splinter explained to his children.

The turtles exchanged the looks with each other, unsure if their master was serious about what he had just said.

""Let him find us?" Master? Are you absolutely serious about this?" Dom questioned.

"Yes, my son. I am." Splinter said, lowering his eyebrows. "I have long wished to avenge my Master Yoshi's death. Now is the time."

"But..." Donnie started. "How do we let him find us?"

"Please, don't say we're going to jump in front of him and his Foot army just like that. That would be utterly foolish and suicidal." Dom said, sounding worried about their sensei's plan.

"Works for me." Louie let out.

"Not to me!" Mikey instantly protested.

"No." Splinter responded. "We'll carefully select the spot where we have an advantage against him. Then we'll sit still and wait for him to come to us."

"I don't know, Master Splinter." Mikey said, shaking his head. "Sitting still isn't one of our strong points."

Splinter gave his youngest son a stern glare, causing Mikey to sheepishly correct himself.

"I mean... Yeah! Sitting still it is." the turtle in orange said with the smile. "I actually like sitting still. Sitting still is good."

"Especially when you have something else to do to tolerate sitting still, Mikey. Like watching TV:s, eating popcorns or reading comics." Raph said sarcastically.

"My sons, enough!" Splinter interrupted, before he continued. "Now, we need to find the perfect spot, where we can use both the high ground and the surroundings as our advantage in the upcoming battle. Any suggestions, Donatello?" the old rat master said, turning to Donnie.

Donnie immediately took out some New York City maps and put them on the table. First, the brainy turtle marked in the map the route he, Dom and Mikey had used after escaping from the Shredder's burning warehouse and then he started to ask for the routes the others had used. After a while of remembering the street adresses they'd used while running and hiding fron the Foot, Leo and Mary gave Donnie their own and so did Arcee and Louie. However, Raph revealed that he had not even bothered to check the adresses while he was on the run, except the ones he and Splinter had used after the latter had found him from that alley. These helped Donnie to mark the area where the Foot has been hunting for them, which covered nearly entire midtown from souther end of the Central Park to the Union Square, leaving only eastern side of the midtown mostly untouched. Donnie also marked in the map their exact location, which was in the Greenwhich Village's east side, outside of the area the Shredder was looking for them.

"How about here? At the corner of West 15th Street and Eighth Avenue?" Donnie said, pointing at the said street on the map, which was right at the southern border of the area the Shredder had sealed off from the rest of the city. "I agree with Dom in one thing. It definitely would be pretty idiotic to go straight back to the area that is swarmed by an entire army of Foot

"Even suicidal. I also said that." Dom remarked.

"Yeah. We'd be surrounded by the superior numbers in an instant if we set on foot in there." Mary said.

"And not the mention about the Shreddator in here. He probably can turn himself invisible and stalk us with his thermal imaging sight and be at our throats when we least expect it." Mikey said with dramatic voice, only to earn the whack in the back of his head from Raph.(2)

"Ow! Hey!" Mikey complained.

Donnie cleared his throat, gaining their attention back. "Yes. But the corner of West 15th Street and Eighth Avenue is located right behind of the border of Foot territory, meaning that Foot has not yet expanded their searching there. There we might have both the high ground position and the clear escape route if the things go awry." the brainy turtle said.

Master Splinter stepped forward to take a look at the spot at the corner of West 15th Street and Eighth Avenue on the map, while thinking of Donnie's words.

"But, if that isn't the good place, then I can check another..." Donnie said and turned back to the maps to search for another spot.

However, Spliter suddenly interrupted him.

"No!" the old rat master said strictly, before he pointed at the corner of West 15th Street and Eighth Avenue with his clawed dinger. "We'll face the Shredder and the Foot right here!"

The turtles gathered around of him and looked at the spot on the map, which Splinter had chosen as the position of their final stand against the Shredder.

"Are you sure, Sensei?" Leo asked.

"Yes, my son. I am sure." Splinter comfirmed. "This also might give us an advantage against him."

"How? Leo questioned.

"Once he hears about our plan to oppose him in open, he might think we're foolish enough to even try, especially after he bested you all in your first battle. However, this may increase his arrogance and undermine his strategicness. If that is the case, he might attack us directly with full force from one direction instead of sending his ninjas to surround the area to cut off our escape and then attack us from all sides." Splinter explained.

"That's what I'm afraid of, Sensei." Dom confessed. "He might be a boastful and little insane, but he ain't stupid. That I'll give to him. Besides, there might be the chance that he'll come up with that plan once he gets aware of our own."

"Yes, my son. That's what I'm afraid too." Splinter told to the turtle in white. "But I bet my chin beard that the Shredder has grown a quite impatient now that he has so far failed to find you. And the impatience is the ninja's treacherous enemy and the ninja's enemy's ally. It increases impulsivity and undermines the logical and strategical thinking. If we..."

Splinter was about to continue, until Mikey suddenly interrupted him.

"Doesn't that sound much like Raphael?" Mikey said with the smirk. "His impatience makes him like an battering ram without any logical and strategical thinking." the turtle in orange snickered jockingly.

Growling in irritation, Raph whacked Mikey in the back of his head again, and a bit harder this time, making Mikey yelp in pain afterwards.

"OW! Hey!" Mikey whined.

Ignoring Mikey, Raph turned back to Splinter. "You were saying, Sensei?"

Splinter cleared his throat before continuing. "As I was saying, if we use the Shredder's impatience against him, he'll become blind and thus vulnerable to something he'll least expect." the old rat master finished, implying that he already had a plan of his own to defeat the Shredder.

Thinking hard of his master's words, Leo then turned to his brothers and sisters. "Splinter is right, guys. It may be a long shot, but it may be worth it. So what do you say?

The turtles, even the turtle in blue himself, started to exchange the glances with his brothers and sisters, silently asking from each other if they agreed on this. Raph and Louie had such of expressions on their faces that told to the others that they were in without even asking, while the rest of them had a rather worried looks on their faces. Surprisingly enough, Arcee had the least worried look on her face, because she was still determined to do something to prevent the Shredder and the Foot from turning the New York City upside down just to find them, while Dom still had mixed feelings about the sanity of the whole plan and the reasons of the greater good why to execute it. After a moment, each one of them, first Raph, then Louie, then Arcee, Mary, then Donnie, then Mikey and finally Dom, though the turtle in white was still a bit reluctant and hesitating, gave to their older brother and leader the silent nod with the look of the firm determination on their faces, indicating that they all had decided to respect their master's choice.

Leo nodded to his siblings before turning back to Splinter.

"Then it's settled, Master Splinter. We'll meet the Shredder and the Foot at the corner of 15th Street and Eighth Avenue." Leo said, and bowed to his master and father. The other turtles followed his suit and bowed at their master in respect - which Mikey, however, had to do from sitting on the chair.

Smiling with the pride he held for his sons, Splinter responded by bowing back to his children.

However, little did the turtles and Splinter knew that they were being eavesdropped by someone who was hiding right outside of the barred window.

It was Jennika, without the mask on her face, having followed the mutant family after they'd picked Leo and Mary from the alley she and John had met the turtles in blue and turquoise in person.

The Foot Kunoichi had listened carefully the turtles' and Splinter conversation from the very beginning. While listening the mutants, her eyes went wide once or twice in surprise upon hearing the turtles' and Splinter mentioning the name "Master Hamato Yoshi" and how they spoke about him with the deep respect and adoration. This filled her own mind with the questions of her own about what Master Yoshi meant to these mutants and vice versa, but because of her current mission, she quickly - though a bit reluctantly - pushed her questions aside and focused on hearing about the turtles' plans to fight the Shredder.

Upon hearing the Turtles and Splinter's plans to face the Shredder at the corner of West 15th Street and Eighth Avenue, Jennika nodded to herself, determined to help the mutants by luring the Shredder to their location. and then she'll to do whatever she can to make sure the turtles and Splinter emerge victorious, without revealing herself and her allegiance.

"I will make sure the Shredder will meet you there, turtles." Jennika said silently, before she put her mask back on and sneaked away from the Battle Shell, heading back to the area sealed off by the Food to find the Shredder in order to deliver the turtles and Splinter's message/challenge and the address of their selected place to him.

After running through several blocks along the rooftops of the town, Jennika eventually found her "master", who was at this point walking down the street along with the couple dozen Foot Ninja. And the evil Foot Lord looked to be in the ill mood due to their unsuccessful search for the missing turtles.

"MASTER SHREDDER!" Jennika let out, before she leaped off the rooftop and started to fall down face-first in the cross-position.

Shredder and his Foot Soldiers looked up to see Jennika falling down from the rooftop, before the Kunoichi grabbed from the lamppost, cutting her fall short, and then she swung herself in arch under it before letting go. Jennika then made the backward flip in the air before she then landed on her feet to the ground.

The Kunoichi then rushed towards the Shredder and knelt before him, bowing her head down in respect.

"Jennika, report!" Shredder ordered.

"Master, I have found the turtles. All of them." Jennika reported.

"All of them?!" Shredder nearly exclaimed as if surprised that Jennika had succeeded finding all eight of them at once.

"Yes, master." Jennika comfirmed."All eight of them."

"Where did you found them?!" the evil Foot Lord demanded.

"Few blocks away from here to the south. My team and three other teams managed to have two of them, including the one called Leonardo, cornered to the dead end in the alleyway. We were very close in capturing them, but the other turtles suddenly came out and ambushed us from behind. They slaughtered all my men, including all other three teams, leaving no survivors. And then they... escaped outside of the sealed off area." Jennika reported.

"ESCAPED?!" Shredder roared in fury.

"Yes, master." Jennika said meekly, lowering her head low, as if knowing where her confession would lead.

"You got Leonardo and the one of the other turtles right in your grasp AND YOU LOST THEM, EVEN WITH FOUR TEAMS BY YOUR SIDE, AND YOU DARE TO COME BACK TO ME SMELLING WITH THE REVOLTING STENCH OF FAILURE?!" the evil Foot Lord roared, pointing one of his gauntlet's claws down at Jennika's neck with the strong urge to just slash her fatally in the nape as a punishment for her apparent failure to capture the turtles and bring them to him as ordered.

Jennika could feel the Shredder's claws almost touching the skin of her neck and, though remaining stoic and unfazed at the face of the possible death sentence, the Kunoichi closed her eyes and prepared to face the death with dignity and honor.

However, before the Shredder could do anything, the evil Foot lord suddenly realized something strange which urged him to hold himself back from delivering the killing blow. He looked over his trusted Kunoichi lieutenant from head to toes and found something in her that only increased his suspicions, as if suspecting that Jennika hadn't told him quite everything. And so, though rather reluctantly, Shredder withdrew his claws from Jennika's neck, wanting answers regarding to the reason for Jennika's failure.

"Hmm... strange. Quite strange indeed." the Shredder murmured out loud.

Jennika slowly lifted her head up, looking up at her master with supposedly surprised look on her face.

"Master Shredder?" she said with the raised eyebrow.

Shredder turned back to her and went straight to the point. "You said that the other turtles ambushed you and the Foot soldiers under your command when your guard was down, and that they left no survivors... and yet you came crawling back to me alive and without even a single scratch on you. I'd like to know why so?" the Shredder said, crossing his arms while waiting for Jennika's answers.

Jennika slowly stood up to face her master face-to-face.

"I fought the turtles when they appeared, master, but in the end they failed to lay even a single scratch on me. Even all eight of them together, they were no match for me. You trained me well master, even better than what their own master did train them." Jennika started, earning a rather impatient nod from his master, who obviously wasn't in the mood for the compliments or the flattery.

"Then how come they managed to slip through of your fingers!" Shredder hissed.

"Because I let the turtles to escape..." Jennika replied.

After hearing that, the Shredder was very close to fly into another fit of rage, until Jennika quickly lifted her left hand up and helt it out in front of her master, silently but firmly requesting her master to wait and listen to the end before he'd be upon her with his claws again.

"...AS PART OF MY BACKUP PLAN!" the Kunoichi added quickly.

Hearing that, the Shredder managed only with the great effort to re-composure and hold himself back from attacking Jennika with his claws again. With his eyes narrowed impatiently, the Shredder allowed her to continue.

"Even though they couldn't defeat me in combat, without backup or time to call in reinforcements to assist me in capturing them properly, I had to change my strategy. So I withdrew from the fight and hid into the shadows but only as a tactical retreat. I let the turtles go but only so I could follow them secretly to where they've regrouped and spy on them to find out what their next move could be." Jennika explained.

Jennika's explanation about her "plan" seemed to stir the Shredder's interest. "Well then, what did you find out?"

"The turtles aren't going to run away from you anymore. They're determined to defeat you, but they've positioned themselves at the corner of West 15th Street and Eighth Avenue, and they're waiting for you there." Jennika reported.

Shredder's eyes went wide open in mild surprise. The location the turtles had chosen as the spot for their last stand happened to be just outside of his territory's border, a perfect spot to just run away and further evade his clutches. And yet, instead of running like cowards, the turtles are intenting to face him there for the last time.

It did sound a bit suspicious, almost like being lured into a somekind of trap by them. However, out of his impatience - as Splinter had correctly predicted - his driving desire to kill the turtles once and for all and his confidence that the turtles cannot defeat him this time neither, the Shredder quickly pushed such of thoughts out of his mind.

"Those turtles are either brave... or foolish enough to come out of the shadows and oppose me in the open. And if they think that they can stand a chance against me, that will be their permanent mistake... and their death." Shredder hissed, holding his left gauntlet's claws up.

The sly smile nearly crept on Jennika's lips from the knowledge that the Shredder had taken the turtles' bait, though she quickly maintained her serious and cold Foot lieutenant attitude in front of the evil Foot Lord. However, she also needed to ensure that the Shredder had fully taken the bait by indirectly reminding him about the risky loophole in the turtles' strategy; that is the Shredder having his ninjas to surround the turtles' position to cut off their escape and then to attack them from all sides.

"Master Shredder? Shall I order our forces to surround the turtles' position. Then they wouldn't be able to escape from you again." Jennika requested, while hoping against hope that the Shredder's response to her request would be desfavorable.

Much to Jennika's hidden worry, the Shredder stopped to think her request over for a moment, until he eventually gave his response... though with what appeared to be a negative tone of voice.

"No need to, Jennika!" Shredder snarled impatiently. "I'd rather have those green fools to witness my full power before they own eyes, and that will be the very last thing they'll ever see in this world... before I will kill them all myself!"

Jennika was secretly relieved to find out that the rat master's predictions were further proved correct about the Shredder impatiently and over-confidently choosing to attack the turtles directly and with his full force rather than having them surrounded by his numerically superior forces. However, he quickly maintained her attitude again and opened her mouth to speak more.

"Orders, master?" she asked.

Shredder then turned to Jennika and opened his own mouth to give her his next orders. "Send the word to all remaining Foot patrol and tell them to meet me at the corner of West 15th Street and Eighth Avenue. We'll face the turtles there with my full force... once and for all."

Jennika bowed to the Shredder, before she turned to the couple dozen Foot Ninja behind them. "Send the messengers! All remaining patrols are ordered to re-group at the corner of West 15th Street and Eighth Avenue. NOW!"

With that said, about half of the ninjas, Jennika amongst them, scattered out to the different directions to search for the remaining Foot patrols still on the search for the turtles to bring them to their master at the corner of West 15th Street and Eighth Avenue. And after they were gone to carry out their orders, the Shredder took his own patrol with him and headed towards the location of the turtles' last stand.

Elsewhere, the turtles and Splinter arrived at the corner of West 15th Street and Eighth Avenue, where they parked the Battle Shell to the street next to the six story building, which had the fire escape that led to the vast rooftop, and in the other side of which was standing a huge wooden water tower.

After climbing up the fire escape and reaching to the rooftop, the turtles had gathered under the water tower's support beams to wait for the Shredder to show up, while Master Splinter had positioned himself on top of the tower and was sitting there in the meditation pose. The old rat master's ears were twitching at every sound around of him, from the soft whistling of the wind to the faint steps in the ground level.

One hour passed.

Second hour passed.

Third hour passed.

Half an hour passed and there was still no sign of the Shredder nor the Foot.

And as the hours passed, the turtles gradually grew bored and impatient, but remembering their master's warning about impatience being a warrior's treacherous enemy and their enemy's ally, they had no choice but to continue waiting, no matter how boring it was. But to make the matters worse, the night was slowly beginning to turn into the early hours of dawn, and by the time when the sun raises up, they should be underground already to avoid being seen.

However, before the fourth hour had passed, Splinter's eyes twitched as he managed to detect the faint sounds of dozens of footsteps marching in the rhythm, and which were approaching them from the north. Amongst of those footsteps were also the ones that sounded way more heavier and metallic.

Knowing exactly to whom they belonged, Splinter opened his eyes and turned his head to the left and north.

Mary had also gone into a meditation pose to pass some time while waiting for Shredder and the Foot to show up. And even though the turtle in turquoise's senses weren't as sharp as her father's - due to her being the rat and her being the turtle - she also managed to detect the faint yet almost wave-like sound of the countless footsteps that were coming towards their location - including the set of heavier footsteps.

Realizing what this means, the turtle in turquoise opened her eyes and quickly got up to her feet. This didn't go unnoticed by her brothers and sisters and the other turtles immediately turned towards their sister. As they did, they saw the grim frown on her face, with her narrowed gaze locked on the fire escape's ladder on the other side of the building.

"What is it, Marietta?" Leo asked, though the turtle in blue almost knew why Mary had gone so tense all so suddenly.

"He is here." Mary responded quietly.

"About time!" Raph spat and cracked his knuckles. "Started to get rather bored in here."

The turtles then walked out from under of the support beams of the water tower and faced the empty side of the building's rooftop, all ready for real action: Dom was standing in far left, followed by Donnie, then Arcee, then Louie, with Leo and Mary in the middle, Raph next to Mary and Mikey in the far right.

"This is it, my brothers and sisters." Leo said with dead serious voice as he stood in front of his family, with his full leader mode on. "The moment of truth."

Meanwhile, in the ground level, the Shredder and his ninjas, who had increased in numbers while making their way to the corner of West 15th Street and Eighth Avenue, were marching negligently along the street of Eighth Avenue. Marching by his side was Jennika, who had a long since re-joined her master's side along with the messengers and all the remaining Foot patrols she and the messengers had rounded up for her master, which had increased his army's strength, size and number into over two hundred and fifty soldiers, all armed to the teeth and ready for the final battle with the turtles.

They encountered coincidentally on their way a dozens of New Yorkers, who were on an early commute both on foot and cars or on an early morning jogs - along with the several homeless people who were starting to stir awake at their made-up camps near the entrances of the alleyways - but the Shredder and the Foot army didn't pay any attention to them.

The citizens and homeless were going by their own business as first until they halted dead in their tracks upon the sight of the fast approaching army of Foot. Though initially confused about this, the citizens and homeless were soon horrified by the Shredder's evil and terrifying presence.

And when some curly-haired man with checkered dark-blue and dark-crimson hoodie and glasses ending up too close of the Shredder while crossing the street on the early morning jog, he squealed in fright upon seeing the evil Foot Lord in his armor standing in front of him, but was too late to run away from him when the Shredder proceeded to mercilessly sink his right gauntlet's claws into the unfotunate guy's chest, causing the guy to let out the pained grunt, The claws impaled the man's heart and their bloody tips came out of his back, ripping through of the man's hoodie. Breathing wheezily in pain and coughing blood out of his mouth, the mortally wounded man lifted his hed up to look at the Shredder in the eyes as if begging for mercy. The Shredder, however, snorted unsympathetically and in disgust, before the evil Foot Lord pulled his bloody claws out of the guy's chest but proceeded to swing his left gauntlet's claws in the sharp angle at the man's head, both decapitating him and slicing his head in half in the middle. As the two bloody pieces of the unfortunate guy's head fell to the ground, the Shredder pushed his headless corpse out of his way, allowing it to fall flat on its back to the ground.

As the Shredder walked past the corpse, Jennika paid a quick look at the headless body and the two pieces of the unfortunate guy's head, before she briefly closed her eyes to show sympathy for the poor guy and sheer regret for her inability - for the understandable reasons - to do anything to prevent his death. As she resumed marching along with the Shredder and the rest of the Foot army, Jennika paid a short glare at the Shredder behind his back, furious and utterly disgusted by the evil Foot Lord's cruel action and the lack of mercy for the innocent citizen behind of his back, before she re-maintained her Foot Lieutenant attitude.

After witnessing such of cold-blooded murder of the innocent guy, all the citizens and homeless instantly turned and ran away for their lives while shouting and screaming in fear or for help, leaving the street of Eighth Avenue mostly deserted and free for the Shredder and the Foot to march through.

Eventually, the Foot arrived to the corner of West 15th Street and Eighth Avenue, where both the Shredder and Jennika spotted the turtles' Battle Shell parked next to the building, on top of which the turtles were waiting for them.

"That is their vehicle, master." Jennika said, pointing her finger at the Battle Shell upon recognizing it.

The Shredder eyed the Battle Shell for a moment before he walked towards of it. Reaching to it, the Shredder ran his left gauntlet's claws against the Battle Shell's left sliding door, sending out sparks and leaving two long scratches into it.

The Shredder then peeked inside of the truck through of its wind shields, but he didn't see anybody inside.

"OROKU SAKI! SHREDDER!"

The sudden familiar voice calling him by his both name(s) out loud caught the Shredder's, Jennika's and the Foot army's attentions. Following the briefly lasting echoes of the shouts, the evil Foot Lord turned his gaze up at the edge of the building's rooftop, wondering if the shouts came from up there.

It wasn't until his name was called out loud again by the same familiar voice, which he immediately recognized as Leonardo's.

"SHREDDER! WE ARE HERE!"(3)

This confirmed to the Shredder where the turtles were waiting for him.

"Up there! At the rooftop!" he roared, pointing his claws at the fire escape and the edge of the rooftop.

On the rooftop, as the echo of Leo's shouting faded away into the sky, the turtles looked around of them and to the neighboring buildings' rooftops to see any familiar figures that may have heard him.

"SHREDDER! FACE US!" Leo tried again.(3)

As that both echoed and soon faded away, there was still no sign of the Shredder or the Foot.

Mary then stepped forward and let her voice out from the top of her lungs.

"COME OUT, SHREDDER! WE AIN'T RUNNING FROM YOU ANYMORE!"

However, there still was no answer from their enemy.

Raph finally had enough of this waste of time and decided to "improvise" as he stepped forward.

"SHREDDER! DO YOU FEAR US?!" Raph shouted mockingly.(3)

Still nothing.

Suddenly, all over two hundred and fifty Foot soldiers from the streets below jumped onto the rooftop, with Jennika standing right in front of the army. Each Foot Ninja took the various battle poses while holding up various Ninja-weapons.

And then, the Shredder entered. The evil Foot Lord, literally, effortlessly jumped all the way up from the street to the rooftop of the six-storey building, flew over his ninjas and then dramatically landed in the crouched pose before his army with the heavy clank-like thud.

Mikey gasped in shock, surprise and awe. "Wow! Did he just pass all six storeys with just one jump?!"

"Mikey! Focus!" Leo said strictly as he shot a glare at his youngest brother.

Mikey sheepishly rubbed the back of his head, before both he and Leo turned back to the Foot army.

"I AM HERE, TURTLES! the Shredder roared as he stood up and locked his eyes with the turtles'. "AND I FEAR NO ONE! LEAST OF FOOLISH FREAKS LIKE YOU!"

Both the Shredder and the turtles narrowed their eyes as they glared at each other from their respective sides of the rooftop.

"You fools have underestimated me and my power! I have fought many battles before and conquered even the most toughest warriors in my days! You, in the other hand, are nothing compared to them! You're just the bothersome thorns in my side which I will remove tonight!" the Shredder declared.

"True! We may have underestimated you earlier!" Leo shot back, as the turtle in blue grabbed to his Katanas and pulled them out, before he began to spin his blades wildly in front of him for a moment - Leo even spread his arms wide to widen his blades spinning range before pulling them them back. Then he took a firm hold from his swords' hilts and pointed their blades at the Shredder and Foot. "But so have you underestimated us!"

Dom took out one of his Tonfas in his right hand (as he was unable to use his other weapon this time due to his sprained left arm) and held it up next to his head, pointing its haft's blunt end out at the Foot.

Donnie pulled his Bo-staff out and spun it in his hands for a moment before taking it in both hands.

Arcee took out her Tessens and spun them in her hands for a moment before the turtle in pink opened their bladed fans and crossed her arms in front of her chest.

Raph pulled out his own Sais and spun them in his hands for a moment before he crossed their blades in front of his face.

"Let the second round of the butt-kicking begin." the turtle in red declared.

"Mary pulled out her new Naginata with her right hand and spun her weapon with both hands in front of her for a moment, until the turtle in turquoise pulled the Naginata behind of her shell-back and held out her left had towards their enemy.

Louie, to whom Mary had given her borrowed Sword of Toshi Kurahawa, pulled out his sword. Wielding the fine sword with his good left hand, the turtle in black started to spin its blade wildly and vertically in front of him, moving it alternately from left to right, then back to left and then back to right. After spinning the sword for a moment, Louie swung it over his head and pointed its pure-white blade towards the Foot soldiers.

"Shell yeah! Bring it on, you spiky metallic scarecrow! Unless you're too afraid to take on the one-legged and -handed turtles!" the turtle in black taunted.

And finally, Mikey pulled out his own Nunchucks, but he swung them both around only once before he caught the other ends of his weapons in between of his middle-finger and pinky before the turtle in orange crossed his arms over his chest.

Shredder snorted. "Hmph! Your childish confidence amuses me, but it won't be enough to save you, turtles. Mark my words, by the time this battle is over, none of you will leave this roof alive!" the evil Foot Lord declared.

This was followed by the silent but tense standoff between of two sides, which of course would last only a short amount of time before one side, most likely the Foot, would break the silence first.

On the roof of one of the taller neighboring buildings, John, along with several other Guardians, watched the turtles facing off against the Shredder and his Foot army, intending to see how well the turtles would fare in the coming battle. One of the Guardians even held up his watch, through the purple screen of which the three Council Members were also witnessing the coming battle.

During of the standoff, both Raph and Louie eyed the Shredder's Foot army before them, until both turtles in red and black managed to spot Jennika from amongst of the Foot Ninja, standing side by side with the Shredder, and almost immediately recognized the Foot Kunoichi from their earlier encounter back then when they were both captured in that yacht in the middle of the Hudson River weeks ago.

"Say, I remember that Kunoichi?" Louie asked, pointing his finger at Jennika from behind of Leo and Mary.

"What about her?" Raph asked bluntly and indifferently.

"Don't you remember, Raph? She's the one who help-..." Louie was about to say, until Mary quickly raised her hand up in front of Louie's face to silence him before the turtle in black could foolishly reveal Jennika's true allegiances and her job as a double agent in the presence of the Foot and the Shredder.

"Don't you two mind about that Kunoichi." Mary told her brothers, before she lowered her hand and turned to look at Jennika. "You guys can have the Shredder and the Foot, but she's mine."

"Well, you're welcome, sis. More for me then." Raph said, not minding about leaving one Kunoichi for his sister when he could have all the Foot's butts (to be kicked) for himself.

However, the memory of Jennika letting him and Raph escape by assassinating the guards - in quite brutal and almost like Foot-loathing way - filled the curious turtle in black's head with questions about this Kunoichi and her allegiances, into which he kinda wanted answers. Especially to two of them. One: Why did she let him and Raph escape the last time they met? And two: if her allegiance did not belong to the Shredder and the Foot, then to who it belonged?

Louie then leaned closer to Mary to whisper something in her ear. "Just go easy with that one. I have a feeling she ain't what she seems."

"Oh, you have no idea, bro." Mary replied with the knowing smirk, before the turtle in turquoise gave Jennika a small nod, which went invisible to the Shredder and the Foot, but not to Jennika, who nodded back to Mary.

It was then when the tense standoff came to and end, as the Shredder raised his arms up in the air and shouted the command from the top of his lungs.

"FIRST WAVE, ATTACK!"

"FOR MASTER SHREDDER!" the Foot soldiers let out in unision, as about half of the Foot army charged forward and towards the turtles.

"LET'S TURTLEIZE THEM!" the turtles let out their own battle cry and charged forward!

"MEAN IN GREEN, HALLELUJAH!" Louie let out while charging forward along with his brothers and sisters.

From the top of the water tower, Splinter watched his children charging into the battle with the Foot to observe how well they fared first.

"Remember my children, even the mighty oak bends before the raging storm winds." the old rat master said.

The weapons clashed when the turtles and Foot Ninja met in middle of the rooftop.

Dom charged towards the single ninja with the pair of Butterfly swords. The ninja tried to swing his right short sword at the turtle in white's head, but Dom ducked under it, before the turtle in white spun himself around and swung his right hand's Tonfa hard at the ninja's head, knocking him off his feet and sending him flying flat onto his stomach to the floor.

Donnie leaped forward before he struck his staff to the roof and swung himself around of it and towards the one incoming Foot Ninja. Before the ninja could hit Donnie with his sword, the turtle in purple hooked his legs under his arm pits and sent him flying into another incoming Foot Ninja, knocking them both off the roof.

Arcee threw herself forward and into a somersault along the roof as two Foot Ninja - one armed with Ono-axe and another one with Ninjato-sword - swung their weapons horizontally towards the turtle in pink's head, but ended up to miss their target. After landing into the crouched pose in between of them, Arcee swung her arms and Tessens forward before crossing them in front of her, sweeping the ninjas' legs from under them at the same time and causing them to fly onto their backs to the roof.

Roaring with the berserk-like rage, Raph charged towards two Foot Ninja armed with the Kusarigamas. The ninjas halted their charge upon seeing Raph coming towards them and began spinning their weapons' chains wildly. Then they threw the chains at Raph, but missed when the turtle in red jumped over them and flew towards the ninjas. They tried to raise their Kamas up for the strike, but Raph reached to them first and tackled both of them like the football player, pinning them down to the roof. Somersaulting off them and back to his feet, Raph came face-to-face with the new ninja, who tried to whack him in the head with his Bo-staff. Raph, however, dodged it before the turtle in red sent the kick right in the ninja's chest, knocking him away.

Leo charged towards two ninjas armed with Ninjato-swords, which the ninjas then swung towards the turtle in blue. Leo, however, somersaulted under of the swinging swords as he moved past the ninjas. Landing on his feet, Leo crossed his arms in front of him, but when he jumped back up, he spread his arms wide and slashed his Katanas at the ninjas' uncovered backs. The ninjas let out the pained gasps when Leo's swords cut through their vests, ninja garbs and flesh, leaving a bleeding gashes in their backs. As the ninjas dropped their swords and fell flat on their stomach to the roof, Leo kept going towards the hordes of ninjas, before the turtle in blue hopped onto one ninja's head, then jumped over two ninjas before landing onto another ninja's head, before he jumped off, made the flip in the air and then split-kicked two ninjas in their chest, knocking them down and out.

Mary spun her Naginata over her head as she charged at the three incoming ninjas, and particularly towards Jennika, letting out the high-pitched battle-cry as she did. One ninja, armed with the three-pointed double-edged spear, tried to swing his weapon at Mary's head, but the turtle in turquoise dodged it by bowing her head down before she herself spun around and swung her Naginata towards the ninja, slashing him across his stomach. The ninja gasped in pain and dropped his spear from his hands, allowing Mary to quickly finish him off by cutting his head off with another swing. Second ninja tried then to attack Mary from behind and chop the back of her head in two with his sword, but Mary quickly turned around and raised her Naginata up to stop the incoming blade with her weapon's haft, before she kneed the ninja hard in his unprotected chest. The kick forced much of the air out of his lungs that the ninja let out the pained groan and dropped his sword. The ninja then wrapped his arms around his sore chest and bend over in pain, though this allowed Mary to stab her Naginata in his back, killing the ninja and pinning him onto his stomach to the roof. After pulling her Naginata's blade out of the ninja's back, Mary turned around and blocked with her weapon the third ninja's sword, for he had crept behind her shell-back to try to slash her in the neck with his sword. However, after blocking the attack, Mary pushed the ninja's sword to the left and out of the way, before she then swung her Naginata over her head and towards the ninja before he could ready himself for another attack. The turtle in turquoise's Naginata's blade slashed the ninja across his face, mortally wounding him.

Louie charged towards the horde of 30-40 Foot Ninja. One could think this either as a fool's errand or even a suicidal attempt to attack alone and directly against superior force, especially from the turtle with one arm busted. But as Louie came closer of the Foot Soldiers who prepared themselves to face - and kill - apparently foolish turtle in black, Louie caught them by surprise by throwing himself flat on his shell to the roof and sliding along it towards the ninjas like a bowling ball while spinning around. On top of that, Louie began swinging his left arm in a circle above him while spinning his sword wildly around. As the turtle in black slid through of the ninjas, his in the wide range spinning sword ended up slicing in the legs of all those ninjas, who were unlucky to stand either too close or within the range, leaving a deep gashes in their shins and thus crippling them. In some cases the spinning blade ended up to cut the most unluckiest ninjas' legs off, either one of them or even both of them, thus robbing them the ability to walk and even to stand.

"CHO, CHOP, CHOP, CHOP, CHOP, CHOP, CHOP! LOTS OF NINJA TIMBER! AH HA HA HA HA HAA!" Louie laughed tauntingly, as his slyly pulled technique left way more than half of the ninjas either crippled or completely "legless".

Due to his injured ankle, Mikey fell behind and was last one to engage the enemy. However, despite that disadvantage, the turtle in orange did his best to keep up with his brothers and sisters and bravely engaged the enemy when he finally arrived to the battle field. When he met his first opponent, a ninja armed with Kamas, Mikey bravely charged towards him. The ninja, not thinking Mikey as a formidable opponent due to his ankle injury, attacked confidently and swung his Kamas at the turtle in orange. However, he realized too late that he had underestimated Mikey when he jumped over his Kama's horizontal swing.

"Hah! Missed!" Mikey taunted as he flew over the ninja's head. "But I didn't!" he added as he brought his Nunchucks blunt ends hard onto the ninja's back, knocking him out.

From the top of the water tower, Splinter witnessed both Louie and Mikey's recent performances before letting out a sigh while shaking his head, annoyed for his two sons' inability to be without pulling antics even for five minutes while fighting the Foot.

"Be careful, and do not be over-confident!" he instructed strictly.

Elsewhere, Mary faced off five Foot Ninja, three of them armed with swords, fourth with Sansetsukon and last one was holding Shurikens in his hands.

"In the name of master Shredder!" the ninja with the Shurikens shouted and threw his throwing stars at Mary. However, the turtle in turquoise spun her weapon wildly in front of her, knocking off most of the throwing starts off the air though three of them got stuck in its haft.

"No! In the name of Master Yoshi!" Mary shot back, before she threw her Naginata directly at the ninja who had thrown the Shurikens. The blade of the weapon sunk deep into the ninja's head and came out from the back, instantly killing him and knocking him off his feet.

However, this allowed the rest of the ninjas to surround now weaponless turtle in turquoise.

"Hah! You fool! Do you realize that you just cast away your Naginata!" one of the ninjas with swords mocked.

"Now you stand defenseless against all four of us!" the second one with the swords added.

"Yes! We have weapons while you have none!" the third one taunted, while holding up his pair of Ninjato-swords to prove his point.

"Now you'll die for sure!" the ninja with Sansetsukon said as he attacked.

"Your over-confidence betrays you, guys! My master taught me..." Mary shot back, as he suddenly lunged at the Ninja with Sansetsukon and blocked his incoming weapon-wielding hand with her left wrist before she grabbed to the other end of the ninja's Sansetsukon with her free hand. "... that the weapon doesn's matter, but the ninja who fields it!" Mary said as she yanked the Sansetsukon out of the ninja's hand and swung it behind of the ninja's back and wrapped the weapon tight around his neck, before she turned around and grabbed from the weapon's other end with her left hand. "And until you have learned this LESSON, you have learned NOTHING!" Mary declared bluntly as she spun around to face the three ninjas and pulled hers over her head, sending him flying into two of his comrades and knocking them all down and out.

The remaining ninja, the same one who had showed to Mary his swords, glared at the turtle in turquoise after witnessing her taking out his comrades single-handledly. The ninja then charged at Mary and slashed his swords towards her. Mary, however, leaned her head backwards to dodge the first swing and crouched to the ground to avoid the second slash, before the turtle in turquoise started somersault backwards and away from the ninja's wild slashing, narrowly avoiding the ninja's swords as he tried to bring them down on her, but ended up to slam them against the surface of the roof instead.

Mary kept somersaulting backwards along the rooftop, with the ninja following her close behind while swinging his swords at her wildly. Mary kept this going until she eventually reached to, or more likely somersaulted over the body of the ninja she'd killed earlier by throwing her Naginata into his head.

The ninja then leaped into the air and towards Mary, holding up his swords for the fatal blow. However, after Mary landed in the crouched down pose back on her feet next to the ninja's body, she grabbed to her weapon's haft and pulled it out from the ninja's head, before she spun her weapon back upright, lowered its blade down and held it in the sharp angle like some Medieval spearman would in the face of the charging cavaly. The ninja saw this too late and was impaled through the heart by Mary's Naginata's blade as he landed on it. The ninja, after coughing blood out of his mouth, fell instantly limp and remained hang on Mary's weapon, until the turtle in turquoise lowered his body over to the roof and pulled her Naginata out of him.

Mary then stood up and turned to face Jennika, pointing her blood-stained Naginata at the Foot Kunoichi as she walked slowly but certainly towards her, ready to face Mary in the single combat. Under of her mask, Jennika smirked at the turtle in turquoise and teased her by stopping one passing Foot Ninja before she grabbed to his own Naginata before taking it from his hands for herself.

Turning back to the turtle in turquoise, Jennika briefly demonstrated her own skills with Naginata by spinning it both rapidly, skillfully and near effortlessly with one hand, before she switched it into her right hand, moved it behind of her back and back into her left hand and moved it back in front of her without even slowing down or seacing the weapon's spinning speed.

Jennika then made a rather impressive move: First she started by raising her Naginata over her head and then jumped up into air while making a sideways flip. Normally that shouldn't look a pretty impressive if the one could do it himself/herself as well, but Jennika here didn't make just one sideways flip in the air but literally began to spin sideways with the rapid speed, all the while spinning around like a spinning top in the air. She looked for a short moment almost like the black ball inside of the transparent spiral ball formed by her spinning Naginata. Jennika eventually ceased spinning around as she started to fall back to the roof, showing no signs of the dizziness caused by such of rapid spinning speed, though she still kept spinning her Naginata above of her head. And as her feet hit the roof, Jennika spun herself around one more time and swung her Naginata's blade in arch against the roof's surface, causing the crescent-like line of sparks to fly off, before she moved her weapon's haft behind of her back through of her right armpit and held out her left arm.

Mary couldn't help but smirk at this, clearly impressed with Jennika's skills and at the same time a little jealous of them. However, the turtle in turquoise was srill rather pleased at the chance to face a worthy opponent equally adept at using the Naginata.

"You're fast and good, I'll give you that. But let me show you how the Naginata is really used in the hands of the master." Mary told Jennika almost boastfully.

"Don't get too cocky, child." Jennika warned with the mock-cold manner in order to maintain her Foot Kunoichi attitude in the Foot's and the Shredder's presence. "It's just like you said: "Your over-confidence betrays you."

"My compliments for mimicking my words." Mary added teasingly, before she swung her Naginata over her head and began to spin in around wildly before she charged forward towards Jennika.

Mary then swung her Naginata down on Jennika, who jumped to the right to avoid the turtle in turquoise's weapon's blade as it hit with the sharp clank against the roof. Jennika then spun around to her left and swung her Naginata with the horizontal swing towards Mary, but the turtle in turquoise saw this coming and raised her own weapon in an arc and moved it upright pose to her left, blocking Jennika's own weapon with her weapon's haft. As soon as their weapons clashed, Jennika tried to sweep Mary's legs from under with her right leg at the same time when Mary tried to roundhouse-kick Jennika in the head with her right foot. Jennika, however, noticed this and leaned her head back to avoid it at the same time as Mary jumped up in the air with her left foot, to avoid getting tripped over by Jennika, before she spun herself around and shot her left foot forward to kick Jennika in the chest, but Jennika leaned further backwards till she landed on her hands to the roof, before she then flipped over and pushed herself upwards with her hands, landing back on her feet to the roof.

Mary then leaped towards Jennika again and thrusted her Naginata forward into stabbing strike, though Jennika knocked it out of the course by pulling her Naginata horizontally upwards. Mary then switched her hold on her weapon and swung its blade towards Jennika's left side, though Jennika blocked the strike, before she then moved Mary's weapon away with her own's haft, but at the same time she swung her Naginata's another end at the turtle in turquoise, whacking her across her right cheek and leaving there a nasty bruise.

"DAMN!" Mary swore, before she ducked her head down to duck Jennika's Naginata's blade's swing that was aimed at her head.

Mary then swung her own Naginata at Jennika's legs, but the Foot Kunoichi dodged over it with the backward-flip, until she struck her Naginata's blade to the roof and swung herself around of it, before she pole vaulted herself up in the air, doing the horizontal barrel roll motion as she flew down towards Mary, who looked wide-eyed at the Foot Kunoichi's surprising and rather impressive skills... a one second too long though, as Mary had no time to snap out of her amazed state and react before Jennika brought her right foot down on her head, knocking her off her feet and down onto her shell to the roof.

Landing on her feet, Jennika began to circle around the downed turtle in turquoise while looking down on her with the manner of the disimpressed teacher while patiently waiting for her to stand up again.

"Cool move!" Mary groaned in compliment as she rolled over and pushed herself onto her knees. "But I was expecting you to finish me off the moment I was down, like all the Foot scum do." she added, slowly climbing on her feet while picking her Naginata up.

"Maybe I should've..." Jennika let out, until she lowered her voice down almost like the whisper which only Mary was able to hear. "... but where's the honor in that, child." Jennika teasingly questioned, before she dared with her finger for Mary to come to her and then began to spin her Naginata in front of her.

Though pleased about the quiet revelation that Jennika had the sense of honor unlike the Shredder and the Foot, Mary hid her pleased look on her face with the mock-cocky-like smirk while shrugging her shoulders and rolling her eyes in 'whatever' manner.

"A member of Foot Clan with honor?" That's the good one." Mary mock-scoffed, pretenting to take Jennika's words as some kind of lake joke regarding to the lack of honor amongst the Foot Clan, before the turtle in turquoise charged at Jennika again.

Leo was meanwhile clashing blades with three Ninjas, one armed with Ninjato, one with the pair of Butterfly swords and third was with the Trident. The one with Ninjato-swords on Leo's right sent both horizontal and vertical slashed at Leo while the one with the Butterfly swords on Leo's left attacked the turtle in blue with windmill-like hack-and-slash attacks. Even though the ninjas managed together to push Leo back and near of the edge of the rooftop with their repeating heavy attacks, Leo was capable to block most of their attacks with relative ease, though he was forced to draw most of the attention to the ninja with the Butterfly swords in order to avoid the second blade's attacks after blocking the first one's.

Both ninjas then attempted to bring their blades down on Leo at the same time, but the turtle in blue blocked them with his own crossed blades. The ninjas put the pressure in their attacks, causing Leo to let out the strained grunts through of his gritted teeth, though eventually they proved to be no match for Leo's strength when the turtle in blue forcibly pushed them back, causing them to stumble back a little bit. Leo took immediately an advantage of this and lunged at the ninjas, moving fast through of the gap between of them but not before slashing them across their stomachs with his swords.

"AGHK!" "YAIIEE!" Both ninjas cried in pain as Leo's blades gutted them, before they dropped their weapons and fell over to the roof.

The ninja with Trident then attacked Leo and attempted to stab him in the stomach, but the turtle in blue flipped over the ninja's attempted strike and the ninja himself, landing on his feet behind of the ninjas back. The ninja turned around and attempted to stab Leo again, but the turtle in blue, holding his Katanas upside down in his hands, turned around as well and clashed his blades with the Trident, pushing it to his right. Leo then raised his swords up, spun them back upright and then brought them down onto ninja, but he raised his Trident up to block Leo's blades. Before Leo could do anything, the ninja suddenly kicked him in the stomach, and though the kick against his plastron wasn't strong enough to knock him over, it did left Leo momentarily stunned, allowing the ninja to take an advantage of this and swing his Trident at Leo.

"OW!" Leo cried as the ninja's Trident's middle blade's tip scratched him in his left temple. However, after getting slashed, the turtle in blue spun himself around to his left before he sent the kick with his left foot into the ninja's chest, knocking him off his feet and over the edge of the roof, causing him to fall down.

"THAT HURT!" Leo called after the ninja.

Arcee was elsewhere turning around and to every four directions as four Foot Ninja, two with swords, third with Ono-axe and fourth with the twin Sai, approached her, surrounding the turtle in pink in middle of them. Arcee eyed each one of them warily and one at the time, waiting for one of them to make the first move but also keeping an eye on the ones in her both sides and behind of her shell-back.

The ninjas with the swords, who were standing in Arcee's left and right sides, attacked first and attempted to cut the turtle in pink half from the waist with their swords. But when they swing their blades horizontally at her, Arcee leaped in the air with the spinning sideways flip, causing the ninjas' blades to clash against each other. Using that as her advantage Arcee swung her Tessens downwards and sliced the ninjas' blades in half.

As Arcee landed back on her feet to the roof, the ninja on her right threw away his useless sword and attempted to throw a punch at Arcee, but the turtle in pink ducked it from under by bending her legs. Arcee then closed her Tessens for a moment before she uppercutted the ninja in beneath his chin with her left fist before she pushed her back with the palm strike in the ninja's chest. Then the turtle in pink spun herself around and spinning hook-kicked the ninja in the head with her right foot, sending the ninja flying to the roof.

Arcee then opened her Tessens and lifted them over her head at the same time as the third ninja with the Ono-axe came over to her and attempted to bring down his axe onto Arcee's head to split it in two. Arcee managed to stop the axe with her weapons, but its weight caused her to bend her knee and drop down on her one leg. The turtle in pink grunted through of her gritted teeth. The turtle in pink then gasped when she saw both the ninja with Sais coming towards her and the another ninja with the useless sword threw the hilt away and picked a new sword up from the roof and approached Arcee with his new weapon raised up, threatening to slice her with it.

However, thinking fast, Arcee quickly pushed herself up from the roof with her left foot and made the front flip in the air, during of which she hit the axe-ninja in beneath his chin with her left heel, knocking his head back and causing him to drop his axe. But at the same time Arcee's move caused the sword ninja, who was just about to strike her with his sword, to miss her and he ended up to slice his sword across the axe-ninja's stomach instead.

Arcee then landed on her feet next to the sword ninja, who was looking at his blood-stained blade and his mortally wounded comrade, who was whining in pain while holding with his hands from the bleeding cut in his stomach. But before the ninja could turn to Arcee, the turtle in pink was a step ahead of him and turned around to kick the ninja in his right side with her left foot, knocking him off his feet to the roof.

The ninja with Sais then lunged at Arcee from behind with his weapons up and ready to stab Arcee in the back of her neck, but the turtle in pink surprisingly threw herself forward with the flip and landed onto the top part of her shell to the roof and with her feet pointing upwards, causing the ninja to land onto the bottoms of Arcee's feet. Arcee then somersaulted back onto her feet, but not before she kicked the ninja away and caused him to crash into still on his feet standing wounded axe-ninja, knocking both of them over to the roof.

Meanwhile, Dom was having a little trouble while battling three ninjas, one armed with Bo, one with the pair of swords and third with Katar-like daggers, at the same time with one hand. The turtle in white was clashing his one Tonfa with the one ninja's Bo with the series of blows aimed at the ninja's head, stomach and feet. But even though Dom managed to push the ninja back, he couldn't break the ninja's defense. And even then when he did, he wasn't quick enough to make the finishing blow on the ninja before he recovered quickly to fend off Dom's blow... or when either one of the two ninjas lurking behind of his back distracted him long enough for the Bo-ninja to recover and resume his attack.

"C'MON! C'MON! GO DOWN, DAMN YOU!" the turtle in white swore in frustration and desperation.

The ninja with Katar-daggers then attacked from behind of Dom's left shoulder, though the turtle in white managed to detect him from the left corner of his left eye. Dom turned to the ninja and ducked his head down as the ninja swung his daggers broad blades horizontally at his head. However, dodging the ninja's Katar-daggers had led him to turn his back to the ninja with the Bo, who used this as his opportunity to sweep Dom's legs from under him with his staff, causing surprised Dom top fall flat onto her shell to the roof.

With Dom downed and slightly stunned, the third ninja loomed over the turtle in white and raised his swords up to kill him. Upon seeing the ninja being ready to bring his swords down on him, Dom let out a shocked yelp before he quickly jumped back on his feet from the roof to avoid getting killed. However, he nonetheless ended up getting hit in the shell by the ninja's swords, which left two scratches running across the turtle in white's shell.

"HEY!" Dom bellowed, until he suddenly turned to the ninja and quickly wrapped his right arm around him beneath of his armpits. The ninja let out a surprised yelp as Dom lifted/dragged him bodily off his feet, causing him to drop his swords from his hands, before the turtle in white turned to the ninja with Katar-daggers and tossed his ninja into him, causing him to knock them both over to the roof and out cold.

"There is no insurance on these shells!" the turtle in white chided angrily, before he turned back to the ninja with Bo.

Dom then charged at the ninja and started once more to swing his Tonfa at the ninja, aiming at his head, stomach and feet. Though ninja did block Dom's every strike with his Bo, the turtle in white was this time capable to focus primarily in battling him without the interferences. The ninja then attempted to whack Dom with the horizontal swing, only for Dom to bend his legs to duck under it, which also allowed Dom to stab his Tonfa's blunt end into the ninja's leg.

"AGH! OW!" Ninja groaned in pain that he dropped his Bo and grabbed to his leg with both hands while hopping on one. This distraction allowed Dom to whack him in the head with his Tonfa, before the turtle in white spun himself around and snap-kicked the ninja in the chest with his left leg, sending the ninja flying over to the roof and he remained to lie there, out cold.

Slightly tired Dom sighed out in relief. "About damn time that guy to go down."

However, his relief vanished doon when he heard the heavy metallic landing behind his shell-back, prompting the turtle in white to turn around to see who it was.

To his shocking surprise, it was none else than the Shredder, who was holding his right gauntlet's claws up and ready for the strike!

Almost in panic, Dom quickly brought up his Tonfa in the defensive strike as the Shredder brought his claws down, which smoothly sliced through of Dom's weapon's wooden haft just above of Tom's fist holding from the weapon's hilt, allowing the two pieces to fall to the roof next to his feet. Dom looked at his now destroyed and therefore useless weapon, before he looked up at the Shredder with the near annoyed look on his narrowed eyes.

"Oh, come on! You really had to?!" the turtle in white bellowed, holding the remains of his Tonfa up for the Shredder to see.

The evil Foot Lord, however, wasn't interested in Dom's destroyed weapon, least of Dom's lecture, and proceeded to swat the Tonfas remains of Dom's hand before he raised his left gauntlet's claws up and slashed Dom across his chest with them. The claws left two deep scratches in turtle in white's plastron, but they otherwise left no severe damage in him.

But still, the immese force of the blow was strong enough to knock Dom off his feet and send him flying away from the Shredder. "AGHHHH!" Dom screamed during his flight, till he landed with the thud on his shell-back to the roof.

After Dom was down, about Twelve Foot Ninja then charged towards him from all sides, using this perfect opportunity to kill at least one of the turtles.. One of the ninjas even leaped into the air and raised his sword up to bring it down on Dom.

"AHH!" Dom gasped upon seeing this and, holding his breath in agitation, the turtle in white instinctively raised his right arm over his head as a cover, completely forgetting that he was not holding his Tonfa anymore, meaning that he was just about to have his arm chopped off and head split in two!

However, before the sword could cut through his arm's flesh, Raph suddenly jumped in between of his downed brother and the ninja's sword, blocking the blade with his Sais! His brother's timely arrival allowed Dom to sigh in relief before the turtle in white climbed back up to his feet.

"Seriously! What's wrong with you, guys?!" Raph grunted through his gritted teeth as he struggled with the ninja's sword. "Why is it always me to have to watch after all of your shells all of time?!"

"Well, I'm glad that you care about the rest of us that much!" Dom shot back sarcastically, though he knew fully well that deep down in his gruff persona, Raph cared deeply for his brothers and sisters even though he'll never admit it out loud.

Dom then took his remaining Tonfa into his good hand and moved quickly to stand shell-against-shell with Raph and raised his weapon up to block the new ninja's sword strike as he was about to bring it down on the back of Raph's head. Raph then moved his ninja's sword out of the way before the turtle in red leaped forward and snap-kicked the ninja in the face with his right foot, knocking the ninja back. Raph then spun around in the air and kicked the ninja in the chest with his left foot, knocking him over to the roof. And as this happened, Dom lifted his good arm and his weapon, along with the ninja's sword, higher in the air, until he slyly swept the ninja's legs from under him with his right foot and set him to fall over to the roof, but not before Dom brought his Tonfa hard down on the ninja's stomach, knocking him down hard enough to knock him out.

Raph then bravely took on threw ninjas, two of which were armed with Ninjato-swords, one of them was holding two of them in both hands, while the third one was holding Tanto and the Ono-axe. The ninja with twin sword swung his right sword horizontally at the turtle in red while the second ninja with just one sword tried to bring his own down onto Raph's head. However, holding his left Sai upside down, Raph blocked the first ninja's sword while holding his right Sai up to block the second ninja's sword. The first ninja then attempted to bring his left sword down to cut off Raph's left arm at the same time as the third ninja came over from his right and raised his axe up for the strike. Raph, however, leaped sideways to the left and kicked with his right foot the third ninja in the chest, knocking him away from him and causing the first ninja to miss his arm.

After landing back on his feet, the ninjas turned back to Raph, with the second one lunging at the turtle in red and attempting to bring his sword down on him again. Raph, however, blocked his sword with his right Sai before he moved it to his left and then spun himself around and to the Ninja's backside and then stabbed with his left Sai into the ninja's unprotected back. The ninja gasped in pain and dropped his sword from his hands. The first ninja then attempted to attack Raph, but Raph swung his right Sai at the ninja, slicing him across his face with his weapon's tip. The ninja let out the cry in agony and let his swords to fall off his hands to the roof as he brought them over his bleeding face. Raph, however, slashed his right Sai at the ninja again, this time slitting his throat open, causing the ninja to let out the wheezed gasp as his blood-stained hands fell off his face. Raph then pulled his left Sai off the second ninja's back, before he stabbed it right through of the ninja's chest and finally thrusted his right Sai into the ninja's left eye, killing him.

Dom was meanwhile battling two Foot Ninja at the same time, who tried to slice him with their Ninjato-sword and Katar-dagger. Dom turned from left to right and back to the left while blocking the ninjas' attacks with his remaining Tonfa. He first blocked the sword-ninja's blade as he attempted first to slice him in his right side and then to stab him in his thigh, before he caused him to back off with the swing of his Tonfa that was aimed at the ninja's head, until he turned to the Katar-ninja and clashed his wooeden weapon with the dagger's blade, before moving it away and then swinging his weapon at the ninja's head and then trying to poke him hard in the chest.

Dom then turned to other ninja and clashed his Tonfa with him a couple times, before the turtle inwhite had to duck down as the Katar-ninja tried to stab him in the face with his dagger, only for Dom to spin around and swing his Tonfa right into the ninja's groins. The Katar-ninja groaned in pain and fell on his knees while holding his groins with his hands. The sword-ninja then attempted to strike Dom from above with his sword, but Dom quickly kicked the ninja in his left knee, causing the ninja fall on his own knee next to his comrade. Dom then finished the job by kneeing the sword-ninja in his face, knowing him over onto his back, before he brought his Tonfa hard down on the second ninja's head, knocking him unconscious.

Raph was clashing with the new ninja with the sword, who clashed his blade with Raph's crossed Sais over and over and harder than the previous one. As the ninja was about to strike Raph again, Raph bent down out of its way and somersaulted through between of the ninja's legs. Standing back up, Raph was just about to resume his fight with the ninja, until the turtle in red was caught off guard by two with twin swords armed ninjas who tackled the turtle in red. However, this was done too close of the edge of the building, and the ninjas forcibly pushed Raph towards to it, until the turtle in red stumbled to the edge of the rooftop.

"Oh, no! OH, NO! NO! NO! NO! TOO CLOSE! TOO CLOSE! TOO CLOSE!" Raph almost panickly shouted as he tried to maintain his balance on the edge, but the ninjas ignorantly kept pushing forward, until all three of them fell over the edge and started to fall down.

"RAPH!" Dom cried in alarm as he witnessed the situation and rushed to his brother's aid.

The ninja, whom Raph had battled earlier, turned to Dom and tried to prevent the turtle in white from interfering, but Dom simply tossed his Tonfa at the ninja, hitting him in the head, which stunned the ninja long enough for Dom to leap towards him with the flip, before he kicked with his both feet the ninja in the chest, knocking him into the edge of the roof and knocking him out.

Dom nearly threw himself to the edge of the roof and stretched his good arm forward and towards his brother's right arm, timely snatching him by his wrist before the turtle in red could fall beyond of his reach, cutting his fall short. The ninjas, who had knocked Raph over the edge and now became aware of their situation, fell screaming to their deaths. Raph followed their fall till they hit with the sickening splats to the street below, before the turtle in red then looked up.

"I CAUGHT YOU, BRO!" Dom said to Raph.

"THANKS, DOM!" Raph said with the grateful smirk, before he put away one of his Sai's and took a hold from Dom's arm with both hands. Then he placed his feet firmly against the wall before Dom started to pull him back up to the roof.

While Dom was about to pull Raph up to safety, however, two Foot Ninja with the Yari-spears, which were lowered down to point at Dom's shell-back, charged towards the turtle in white in attempt to either impale him with their spears to push both him and Raph down to their deaths. But as his head peeked over the edge of the roof, Raph noticed the danger that was looming behind of his brother.

Thinking quickly , the turtle in red immediately turned back to Dom. "Dom! Don't pull me up! Swing me up, on my signal!"

"Wha...?!" Dom said, raising his eyebrow in confusion. "Why would you...?"

"DON'T ASK! JUST DO IT!" Raph demanded.

Though still not getting what Raph was up to, Dom nodded to him nonetheless and started to swung his brother from left to right, with Raph providing more speed by pushing himself off the wall with his feet. With four quick swings, in which Raph's swinging speed had increased enough for him and Dom to swing him up to the roof with the fifth swing. Though during of this short time, the ninjas had nearly reached close enough to run the turtle in white through with their spears.

"NOW!" Raph yelled after the fourth swing.

With all his strength and with the help of Raph pushing himself off the wall for the last time, Dom swung his brother upwards and over the edge of the roof and unknowingly towards the incoming ninjas, who were just about to thrust their spears forward and towards Dom, who yelped in surprise upon seeing them and their incoming spearheads. Raph, however, caught them by surprise by kicking the first ninja in the face with his right foot and the second ninja in his chest with his left foot, knocking them both back and over to the roof, out cold.

Raph landed on his feet next to Dom and let go of his brother's hand, while the turtle in white was still looking at the unconscious ninjas with the surprised look on his face.

"Shell! I didn't see those guys coming." Dom said to himself.

"My point exactly, Dom." Raph said in matter of factly. "You better start watching after yourself, cause even I can't be in the seven places at the same time."

"Point taken, bro." Dom added with the nod.

Elsewhere, Louie was spreading a carnage upon the Foot's ranks. First the turtle in red leaped into the air and flew towards two Foot Ninja, who were armed with Yumi bows. With the arrows in their strings, the ninjas ninjas lifted their bows up and aimed their arrows at Louie, but before they could get the clear shot and release their arrows, attempted to shoot their arrows at him, Louie threw his sword at one of the Foot Ninja like a javelin, which impaled the ninja through of his chest. The sight of his comrade getting killed by Louie's thrown sword distracted the other ninja archer long enough until Louie landed onto his shoulders, leaving him with no time to raise his bow up again and shoot his arrow at the turtle in black. Louie knocked the ninja off his feet and pinned him on his back to the roof, and then he finished him off by stomping his left foot hard onto the ninja's throat, breaking his neck. Third ninja then charged at Louie from his left, raising up his Kama and then swinging it horizontally towards Louie in order to decapitate him. Louie, however, ducked under the swing before he spun around to his right, grabbed to his sword still stuck in the first ninja archer's chest and pulled it out, before he swung it at the ninja and slashed him across his stomach. The ninja gasped in pain and fell onto his left side to the roof, mortally wounded.

Fourth ninja then came towards Louie from his right, his sword brought up and ready for the strike. Louie, however, clashed his own with Ninja's before moving it aside. The turtle in black then turned his sword upside down in his hand before he struck the ninja in the face with the sword's hilt, knocking the ninja's head back. Then Louie struck the ninja again in the chest, knocking him slightly back. However, the ninja recovered quickly and attacked again and swung his sword at Louie, but the turtle in black knocked the sword away with the hard swung of his own before kicking the ninja in the stomach with his right foot. Louie then brought his sword up again and slashed in the ninja's right thigh, cutting the flesh to the bone. The ninja cried in agony and fell on his knees, but Louie then struck his sword in the ninja's throat and with the hard pull his slit most of its left side open. The blood bursted out of the wound with the strong pressure and flew onto both the the ninja and Louie.

Fourth then charged at Louie and brought his sword up before he swung it hard down, but Louie blocked the sword with his own and moved it aside, before he then head-butted the ninja in the forehead. Stunned and disoriented from the blow in his head, the ninja stumbled back, away from Louie, until the turtle in black thrusted his sword into the ninja's stomach. The ninja gasped in pain and nearly bend over, but he kept his cold glare locked in Louie's eyes. Louie nodded his chin to the left with the mocking smirk, before the turtle in black pulled his sword out and snap-kicked the ninja in the face with his right foot. The ninja stumbled back again, while Louie spun himself around to his right and moved behind of the ninja's back, before he swung his sword at the ninja's neck, swiftly decapitating him.

As the headless ninja fell on his knees, three more ninjas, two with swords and one with Naginata, leaped into the air and flew towards Louie with their weapons raised up for the strike. The turtle in black, however, using his recently killed ninja's body as a support, jumped into the air to meet them in the mid-air.

"I'LL KILL YOU, FOOT SCUM!" Louie roared as he met the ninja in middle of the trio wielding Naginata and kicked his right leg forward, splintering the ninja's Naginata's haft in two from the middle and kicking the ninja in the head, knocking him off the then turned to the second ninja in the right and thrusted his sword forward, stabbing him in the left side of his throat. The turtle in black then turned to the ninja in the left and swung his sword towards him - cutting the second ninja's head almost completely off his shoulders in the process - and cut his left leg off from middle of the thigh, knocking from the surprise and agony screaming ninja off the air.

Mikey meanwhile was facing off the another Foot Ninja with Bo-staff while spinning only one Nunchaku in his right hand. The ninja then brought his staff up and tried to whack Mikey in the head with it, but the turtle in orange took his Nunchaku in both hands and raised it up to block the ninja's staff. He then wrapped his Nunchaku's chain around the staff before he yanked it off the ninja's leg. Mikey then finished the ninja off by kicking him in the stomach.

Though the foot he used for the kick happened to be his bad leg.

"OW!" Mikey yelped in pain while hopping on his good leg and holding with his hands from his bad one.

The second ninja then came from behind of Mikey, with his sword raised over his head and ready for the strike. But when the ninja swung his sword at Mikey's head, the turtle in orange ducked under it before he spung around and swung his bad leg at the ninja's legs, sweeping them from under him and causing him to fall over to the roof.

However, using his bad leg again only increased the pain.

"Ow! Ow!" Mikey cried while holding his bad leg in the air.

The third ninja then came over, forcing Mikey to kick him right in the chest with his bad leg, thus increasing the pain.

"Ow! Ow! Ow!" the turtle in orange groand, taking his bad leg into both hands.

Mikey was then approached by four ninjas: one from the front, second from his left and two from behind his shell.

The first ninja in the front tried to whack Mikey with his pair of Tonfas, but Mikey snap-kicked him in the face with his bad leg. Then he turned to the ninjas behind him, who tried to tackle him together and pin him down by force, but Mikey spun himself around and spin-kicked the ninjas in the chests with his bad leg again, knocking them down. The second and last ninja then came from his left and brought his raised sword down on him, forcing Mikey to put his bad leg down and lean on it with his weight as he raised his left wrist up in the way of the ninja's own to block his incoming sword, before Mikey lifted up his right leg and kicked the ninja in the stomach, knocking him away.

However, after taking down the ninjas, his attention went back to his bad leg, which was starting to hurt even more after using it over and over again. And the pain had now grown into unbearably high level after he had put all his weight onto it.

"AGH! Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow!" Mikey cried.

However, Mikey's attention went away from his aching leg whe nhe detected the movement in his left and turned to face it, only to see that it was the Shredder himself! The Shredder landed in front of Mikey and kicked the turtle in orange in the chest with the powerful roundhouse kick, which sent Mikey flying away till he hit into one of the water tower's support beams, and fell onto his butt to the roof.

However, the landing was a bit too rough for his bad leg and it started to hurt again.

"YEEAAOOWW!" Mikey roared in pain, and his cry was loud enough to scare the nearby flock of pigeons away.

Meanwhile, Donnie was spinning his Bo-staff around in his hands while facing the group of Foot soldiers. First ninja with the pair of Kamas leaped into the air and flew towards the turtle in purple with the weapons brought up for the strike, but Donnie took his staff in both hands and thrusted one of its blunt ends upwards and caught the ninja onto top of his staff in mid-air, before Donnie threw the ninja over him and onto the roof. Then two Foot Ninja behind him jumped at him at the same time and brought their swords down on the turtle in purple, but Donnie spun around and held his staff up in horizontal position, blocking the ninja's swords as they landed in front of him. Donnie then turned his staff into upright position and struck it down into the spot that was in between of the ninjas, before jumped up and lifted himself into upside down position over his staff. Then Donnie split-kicked the ninjas in the heads, knocking them away, before he pushed his staff off the roof and flipped back onto his feet to the roof.

The fourth ninja then charged at him from behind, but Donnie detected him quickly and struck him in the chest with his staff hard enough to knock him out. Donnie then noticed the shadow falling upon him and looked up, noticing the fifth ninja falling down towards him and abough to slash him with his sword. Donnie, however, brought his staff up to block the ninja's blade and held it up as he lifted his left leg up and kicked the ninja in the guts, knocking him away from him.

However, Donnie then heard the heavy landing behind his back and turned around to see the Shredder standing behind him, holding his left gauntlet's claws up. Donnie gasped in surprise and shock, allowing the Shredder to slash Donnie with his claws, scratching him across his plastron, before the evil Foot Leader kicked Donnie hard in the chest with his right leg, sending Donnie flying away till he hit onto his stomach to the roof, leaving him to lie there stunned by the Shredder's brutal attack.

In the other side of the roof, Louie turned to his brainy brother and noticed him in peril and the Shredder looming over him when the turtle in purple was down in the ground. Angered by the sight of his brother in mortal danger and remembering his own vendetta against the Shredder for breaking his right arm earlier, Louie turned around and rushed towards them, though he noticed that his way was blocked by about one dozen Foot Ninja, who were trying to prevent Louie from interfering their master's intentions to kill Donnie.

The first two Foot Ninja armed with Yari raised their spears up and threw them towards Louie, but the turtle in black flip-kicked the first one off its flight and sent it flying into the air, before he threw his sword at the ninjas with the vertical spinning motion and then he skillfully caught the second spear into his left hand. Louie then turned the spear around in his hand and lifted it over his head as he spun around and then threw it back at the ninjas. Louie's sword hit the first ninja in the forehead, partially splitting his head in two and knocking his head back, while the spear impaled the second ninja through his chest and knocked him over. Louie then jumped up and reached his good hand out for the second spear, grabbing it from the air. And as he fell back down, Louie thrusted the spear downwards, impaling third ninja in the sharp angle from his right shoulder to behind of the left side of the weist and pinning him to the roof.

Three ninjas then tried to charge at Louie with their swords help up, but Louie was a step or two ahead of them and jumped at the ninjas with the vertical barrel roll motion. First, while spinning to his left, Louie kicked with the spinning hook-kick the first ninja on his right in the face with his left foot, and then turned to kick with the roundhouse-kick the ninja on his left in the left side of his head with his right foot, knocking them both out. After spinning around for the last time, Louie kicked the last ninja in the chest with his left foot, knocking him off his feet and pinning him to the roof beneath of him. Louie also noticed that he had landed right next to the ninja, whose head he had split in two with his sword. Jumping up, Louie grabbed to the sword's hilt and pulled it out of the ninja's head as he charged forward.

The next ninja then tried to whack Louie in the head with the staff, but he missed as Louie ducked his head under it and rammed into the ninja, wrapping his left arm around his weist and dragging him off with him before tossing him into the air. Louie then leaped forward and kicked the ninja in the guts with his right foot, sending him flying into another ninja and knocking them both over and out. Louie them swung his sword at the next ninja who tried to slash him with his own, knocking it away, before the turtle in black spun around and kicked with his left foot the ninja in the chest, knocking him into another standing behind of him. Louie then lunged forward and stabbed his sword through of both of their stomachs, before the turtle in black spun around to his right and pulled the blade out with the wide swing which partially gut the ninjas, causing them to fall onto their knees as Louie moved to their right side. Then the turtle in black swung the sword down on them and smoothly decapitated them with one swing.

Louie then kept going and proceeded by lunging at the next ninja before kneeing him in the stomach with his left knee and then flip-kicking him in the face with his right foot, knocking the ninja back, before the turtle in black swung his sword down and sliced the ninja's both legs off, causing him to fall over to the roof. Louie then charged forward and rammed into next ninja with his right shoulder, forcibly pushing him back before he swung his sword at his legs and swept them from under with the blade's flat side, causing the ninja to fly onto his back to the pile of seven Foot Ninja knocked unconscious (earlier or during the battle), allowing Louie to proceed through, but not before he turned back to the ninja and brought his sword down onto ninja's neck, cutting his head off.

Louie then turned to the next ninja in front of him and slashed him across the chest with the first swing from the right to the left and then slashed him in the stomach with the second swing from left to right. The turtle in black then turned the sword upside down in his hands again before stabbing it through the ninja's stomach, which pushed him slightly back. Louie then pulled the blade out and moved behind of the ninja's back, before he finished him off by slashing him one more time in the back. The ninja stood there mortally wounded and limp for a moment before Louie pushed him over to the roof and turned then to the last ninja standing in his way.

The last ninja spun his weapon, Naginata, in his hands before he swung it horizontally towards Louie from the right, but Louie jumped over the weapon's blade with the flip and landed onto his shell to the roof before he somersaulted back onto his feet. Louie them moved forward and pass the ninja from his left side, but not before the turtle in black slashed the ninja in the left side with his sword. The ninja roared in agony and, holding with his left hand over the bleeding gash in his left side, turned back to Louie to swung his Naginata at him again as a desperate act of revenge, but Louie was faster and slashed him first across his masked face, splitting them in half and knocking his head bakc. The ninja cried in agony as his hands flew over his severely damaged bleeding face, until he fell over to the roof in pain.

After dealing with all fourteen ninjas, Louie turned his attention back to the Shredder and Donnie and charged forward.

As Donnie slowly pushed himself up from the roof, Shredder walked over to him and raised his right gauntlet's claws over, preparing to give a lethal blow into Donnie's nape.

"OH, NO, YOU DON'T!" Louie cried and brought his sword in the way of the Shredder's claws as he brought them down. This caught the Shredder by surprise and he turned his gaze from Donnie to Louie, who glared at the evil Foot Lord with his narrowed eyes.

"You and I have some unfinished business, you walking pile of rusty metal! Especially regarding of what you did to my right arm!" Louie hissed through his gritted teeth.

Louie then pulled his sword back and then tried to slash the Shredder in his head, but the Shredder swung his right gauntlet's claws at the sword and knocked it out of Louie's hands. Louie gasped when he saw his sword flying away from his reach to the other side of the roof, until he turned his attention back to the Shredder. However, before the turtle in black could do anything, the Shredder grabbed him from his shoulders and lifted him off the roof, before the evil Foot Lord spun around and swung Louie around him before he tossed the turtle in black far away to the other side of the roof.

"AAAAHHHHH!" Louie cried, until he landed pretty heavily onto his shell to the roof. The heavy landing also caused much of air to be forced out of the turtle in black's lungs, leaving him downed for a while.

"Hmph! You're an overconfident fool!" Shredder scoffed, before he turned his attention back in Donnie, who was at this point almost back on his feet.

"HE INDEED IS, SHREDDER! TRUST IN ME!" Dom's voice called out until he and Raph together jumped at the Shredder from behind and kicked him in the back, sending him flying over Donnie and away from them.

However, to the turtles' surprise, Shredder landed onto his hands to the roof before he pushed himself upwards with them. The evil Foot Lord then curled into a ball as he flipped upwards in the air while spinning around. He then uncurled himself and landed on his feet in middle of the second half of his army, who were still waiting at the other side of the roof.

Seeing that the turtles has already vanquished almost entire first half of his army, the Shredder pointed his right claws at the turtles while looking at his ninjas.

"SECOND WAVE! ATTACK!" he ordered.

Obeying their evil master, the fresh army charged towards the turtles.

The first two dozen ninjas turned their focus on Dom, Raph and Donnie and each ninja pulled out from under of their vests and threw at the three turtles three Shurikens, a.k.a seventy-two Shurikens. The turtles in white, purple and red gasped at the sight of the volley of the throwing starts that was coming straight towards them!

"GUYS! LOOK OUT!" Leo cried, as the turtle in blue quickly leaped in front of his brothers and started to spin his swords around as the volley of Shurikens hit him. His wildly spinning blades deflected most of the throwing stars, though few of them managed to fly through and scratch the turtle in blue from his arms, shoulders and the sides of his shell. Couple of them even scratched him by his right cheek and temple, but otherwise left no any severe damage.

"GO!" Leo told to his brothers over his right shoulder without ceasing spinning his blades. "GO!"

Donnie, Raph and Dom quickly scattered each to different directions while Leo held his ground against the volley of Shurikens.

After Leo had deflected all of them, he backed slightly away as all two dozen ninjas whom had thrown the Shurikens charged at him with their swords up. The ninjas quickly surrounded the turtle in blue from all sides and tried nearly all at once to hit Leo with their swords. Leo, however, managed to block all of their swords with his own, though the pressure in the ninjas' numerically combined strength made him let out the strained groans through of his gritted teeth. However, putting his all strength into it, Leo forcibly pushed the ninjas' swords back, and as they tried to charge at him from all sides in order to overwhelm him with their numbers, the turtle in blue started to spin himself around like the whirlwind while spreading his arms and Katanas as far as he could and swinging them around in the wide range. Leo's swords slashed at the ninjas' faces and chests, leaving there a bloody wounds, both mild and severe, while also slitting open the throats from some or severing the unfortunate ones heads off from the shoulders. After the tenth round, Leo lowered his Katanas but lifted up his left leg and started to send the spin-kicks to all directions, kicking all the remaining ninjas away from him and sending them flying into the different directions. One of them even hit into the vent opener.

A group of seventeen ninja archers ran along the edge of the rooftop, in the water tower's left side, before they positioned themselves in one spot and put the arrows in the strings. Then the ninjas lifted their bows up all together and pulled the strings tightly back. Each one of them took the aim at any turtle nearby and prepared to release their arrows while the turtles' attentions were still in their comrades.

However, before anyone of them could fire, two horizontally spinning Tessens came flying out of nowhere from the ninjas' left, catching them by surprise and off-guard. The first one destroyed the three first ninjas' bows and arrows by flying and slicing through of them while the second one scratched each one of them non-lethally across the chests, which also knocked all three of them off the edge of the roof and sent them falling down. Their shouting caught the other ninjas attentions and they turned to the left to see their comrades gone, and only the sliced pieces of their bows and arrows were lying on the roof. The ninjas then looked up, seeing the flying Tessens as they flew back into the hands of their owner like boomerangs

They saw Arcee coming towards them, while snatching with her left hand one of her Tessens as it was about to fly pass her from her right side, and with her right hand she snatched her other Tessen that was flying over her head from the left side. The turtle in pink, holding her Tessens in her hands, spread her arms wide to her sides before she picked up the pace and charged at the ninja archers.

The ninjas immediately turned their bows at the turtle in pink and pulled their strings tightly back before letting their arrows fly.

Arcee quickly ducked her head down and somersaulted under of the first flying arrows, before she then leaped over the next ones, flipping upside down while spinning herself around in the air. During of one spin, Arcee crossed her arms in front of her while swinging her Tessens forward, slicing in half the new round of arrows, and duroing of the second spin she pulled her arms back, deflecting another round of arrows with her Tessens. Upon landing on her feet, Arcee held her Tessens up in front of her in the manner of shields, deflecting the remaining arrows.

However, before the turtle in pink could reach to the archers, one ninja wielding Kusarigama behind her threw her weapon's chain at the turtle in pink and managed to wrap the chain around of her right ankle and pulled the chain back.

"AHH! HEY!" Arcee screamed in surprise when she almost fell face first down on the roof when she felt her right leg being pulled from under her, but she barely managed to keep her balance on her left leg, though the surprise caused her to accidentally drop her left Tessen out of her hands.

The turtle in pink turned to the ninja in the other end of the chain, who was still pulling from the chain while raising his Kama up. The turtle in pink glared at him in annoyance, before she turned back at the archers, who had all put a new arrows in their bows' strings and were about to raise their bows up and take the aim at her to shoot their next volley on her.

Thinking quickly, while switching thoughtfully her gaze between the archers, the chain wrapped around her leg and the ninja holding from it, Arcee then threw her remaining Tessen to fly with the horizontal spinning motion towards the ninja, hitting his Kama and slicing the weapon's upper part, including the sickle-blade off, much to the ninja's surprise.

Arcee then jumped up and made the vertical barrel roll in the air while swinging her out-stretched right leg in the spinning circle. This technique yanked the chain and the remains of the Kama out of the ninja's hands, causing the chain to fly circle around of the turtle in pink for a moment before she landed on her feet to the roof. Soon Arcee jumped into the air again and spun around to her left, before she swung her right leg towards the ninja archers in the manner of the roundhouse-kick. This motion caused the chain to fly towards the archers as they were just about to release their arrows to fly, causing the Kama's wooden haft to hit each ninja in the left side of their heads, knocking them over like dominoes and causing their arrows to fly stray, though one ninja elsewhere got hit from one of the arrows in his leg, second one got hit in his turned back, third one got two in his chest, fourth got hit in the head and fifth got one in his throat, killing all four latters.

Elsewhere, Raph and Louie were fighting attacking Foot Ninja side by side

Louie clashed with one ninja who tried to stab him to his right side with his sword, but Louie moved his sword underneath of the ninja's own and moved away to his left before the turtle in black kicked the ninja in his left side with his right foot. Louie then spun around and kicked with his left foot the ninja in the head, knocking him aside, while swinging his sword horizontally at the next attacking ninja on his right and cut off his sword-wielding hand in the process.

"AGH!" the ninja howeled in pain and grabbed with his remaining hand from his arm's bleeding stump.

"Will you guys try harder?! I'm starting to get bored here!" Louie complained, before he raised his sword up and brought it down onto the one-armed ninja, killing him.

Raph meanwhile ducked his head down as the ninja he was fighting with tried to whack him in the head with a staff, before the turtle in red stabbed the ninja in the stomach with his left Sai as he moved past him from his left side, causing the ninja to bent over. Raph then turned back to the ninja and stabbed him in the lower back with his right Sai, causing the ninja to arch his back in pain. Raph pulled his Sais out of the ninja, letting him fall over to the roof, then turned around to the ninja who had walked behind of Raph and raised his sword up to strike him, only for Raph to slash his left Sai's tip across the ninja's stomach and with his right one across of his both thighs before he could bring down his sword. The ninja groaned in pain, dropping his sword and then fell flat onto his back to the roof. Third ninja then came towards Raph and brought his two swords down on Raph, but Raph thrusted his Sais upwards and stabbed them through of the ninja's wrists. Ninja cried in pain and dropped the swors from his hands. Raph then lunged forward and snap-kicked the ninja in the head, knocking him away.

Fourth ninja then came over with the pair of Butterfly swords and slashed them both at Raph. Raph dodged the ninja's first horizontal swing at him and then clashed his left Sai with the second swing before he blocked the vertical strike from above with his right side, before he kicked the ninja in his right leg with his own, causing the ninja to fall on it. Raph then turned his left Sai upside down in his hand and struck its hilt's blunt end into the ninja's forehead, knocking him out cold. Raph then turned around abd blocked with the same Sai the fourth fifth behind of him coming Ninja's Kama. And while this was happening, four new ninjas attacked Raph from theree direction; one from one o'clock, second from three o'clock, third from five o'clock and fourth from nine o'clock. Seeing them all coming towards him at the same time, Raph jumped up and sent himself to spin around with his both legs spread wide to the sides, performing the spinning split-kick, with which he kicked all give ninjas in the heads at the same time and knocking them over. As Raph landed back to his feet, he turned to face the new attacking ninja who was just about to raise his sword up to kill him, but Raph raised his own Sais up before he brought them down and stabbed them into the ninja eyes, causing him to let out the brief howl in pain.

Louie, meanwhile, slashed his sword across his new opponent's chest, sending him flying screaming in pain over to the roof, before he slashed his sword at the same time towards the new ninja, who attempted to hit him in the head with the blunt end of his staff. Louie's sword cut through the ninja's staff before the turtle in black thrusted his blade forward and stabbed the ninja through his stomach. The ninja gasped in pain, but no scream came out of his. Louie then turned his sword around and forcibly brought it upwards along the ninja's stomach, gutting him just beneath of his ribcage, which caused the ninja to arch his back. But still, there was no shout in pain coming out of the ninja. Frowning, Louie put his feet onto the ninja's chest and kicked him away, pulling his sword out of him.

A new ninja then tried to strike Louie with the Katar-dagger, but Louie clashed his sword with it before he lowered his blade down and stabbed this ninja in the stomach. New ninja then came from Louie's left, armed with the Yari-spear, and swung his weapon horizontally towards Louie's head. Louie ducked his head under the swing and pulled his sword out of the recently killed ninja's body before he leaned his head back to avoid the ninja's second swing with his spear, though the spearhead nearly touched the beak of his nose - or at least there where his nostrils are. The ninja then tried to stab Louie from above, but Louie brougt his sword up in the way and blocked the ninja's spear, moving it slightly to the left before he pulled his sword away - which caused Yari's spearhead to fall harmlessly over his left shoulder - though the turtle in black still leaned his head to the right to avoid getting his left cheek scratched by it - before he swung his blade at the ninja's right thigh twice, leaving two gashes in it. Ninja let go of the spear and touched his severely wounded and blood-covered thigh, howling in agony as he fell on his knees to the roof. Louie then moved past him, but not before he stabbed his sword through of the ninja's back, killing him.

Mary was meanwhile still battling with Jennika.

The turtle in turquoise lunged at the Foot Kunoichi, holding her Naginata up and ready for strike, while Jennika stepped again to the right but swung at the same time her own Naginata upwards towards Mary. Their respective weapon's blades clashed with another ringing 'CLANK', before Mary landed next to Jennika. Mary then turned around and swung her Naginata horizontally at her opponent, but Jennika blocked Mary's weapon with her own's haft, before she brought her Naginata from under Mary's own towards the turtle in turquoise's feet, nearly sweeping them off from under if Mary hadn't flipped over the swing. As he spun over, Mary raised her Naginata up and brought it hard down on Jennika, who blocked the turtle in turquoise's weapon with her own weapon.

Both Mary and Jennika then found themselves from having put their respective Naginatas together by the hafts, as both of them started to push each other back with their weapons in attempt to gain the dominance over each other.

"Behind you!" Jennika suddenly whispered as if in warning.

Confused by her opponent's sudden warning though not breaking her focus in trying to push her back and vice versa, Mary glanced at Jennika's Naginata's blade's flat side as it was closed to her own face and noticed in its reflection that about six ninjas were charging towards her from behind.

Turning back to Jennika, Mary nodded her head before she pushed her back - or more likely, Jennika allowed her to push her back, before Mary took a firm hold from her Naginata's end with both hands and turned around, swinging her Naginata in wide arch towards the six in arching line charging ninjas.

Mary's blade sliced clean through of all six ninjas and slit the throats open from three ninjas while severing two others' heads off from their shoulders, though the blade sliced through the fifth one's stomach, as he had jumped up to dive-kick Mary with his left foot. The headless ninjas and the ones with their throats slit fell over to their backs or sides to the roof while the fifth ninja spun over due to the force of the impact and flew past the turtle in turquoise until he landed with the loud thud on his stomach to the roof.

After dealing off the ninjas, Mary turned around to face Jennika again while spinning her Naginata victoriously around her with the right hand.

"Thanks for warning." Mary whispered with the smirk, earning a nod from the Foot Kunoichi.

Mary then leaned to the right onto her bent right leg as she pulled half of her Naginata's haft behind her shell-back and shot her left hand out towards Jennika. "Ready for round three?" Mary teased with the smirk.

Under her mask, a brief smirk appeared on Jennika's lips before she readied herself again for the third round and held her Naginata up with both hands. After the brief standoff, Mary charged towards Jennika and brought her Naginata down on her, though Jennika brought her weapon up and blocked the strike again.

Dom was meanwhile battling against the ninja with twin Kamas. The ninja swung wildly his sickled weapons at the turtle in white, forcing Dom to back away to avoid getting slashed by them. The ninja even managed to land a kick in Dom's chest, knocking him back a little. The ninja then lunged at Dom and tried to bring his Kamas down on his head, but Dom blocked the ninja's Kamas with his raised Tonfa. The ninja then pressed his Kamas down hard, causing Dom to grit his teeth as he tried to push the ninja back. Either out of quick thinking or completely out of desperation, Dom suddenly lunged forward while turning around, knocking the ninja off his feet and over to the roof with his shell.

Another ninja with Naginata then swung his weapon's blade at Dom, but the turtle in white saw him coming and ducked under it before he swung his Tonfa at the ninja's right leg, sweeping it from under and causing the ninja to fall onto his knee. Standing back up, Dom raised his Tonfa up before he then brought it down on the ninja, who could only look up at Dom before the turtle in white knocked his lights out. After knocking him down, Dom felt the chain suddenly wrapping around of his left arm and the turtle in white looked up, seeing the third ninja holding from the chain with one hand while holding with the other from the Kama.

The ninja then pulled hard from the chain, causing Dom to stumble forward and towards him, until the turtle in white tripped to in his feet lying unconscious ninja's body and he fell over, but not before he stretched out his good hand and landed onto it. Afterwards Dom pushed himself up from the roof with his good hand and flipped towards ninja, who prepared to strike him down with his Kama. Dom, however, when being close enough, Dom shot both of his feet forward and kicked with them the ninja in the chest before he could hit the turtle in white with his Kama. The doubled kick was enough to knock the ninja over and send him flying to a short distance away from the turtle in white.

Elsewhere, Donnie struck his Bo-staff to the roof and pole-vaulted himself in the air. He then raised his staff up and brought it down in attempt to whack another ninja, though the ninja blocked Donnie's staff with his own. The ninja then stepped back and tried to whack Donnie with his staff, but Donnie blocked it with his own, before Donnie moved his staff from the Ninja's own weapon's left side and whacked the ninja in the head, knocking him out and down. New ninja then came from Donnie's left and attempted to strike Donnie with his sword, but Donnie raised his staff up to block the blade, before he thrusted his staff to the left and poked the ninja in the chest hard enough to knock him back, before Donning turned to him and kicked him in the chest with his righjt foot, knocking him off his feet. Donnie then turned around as the third ninja attacked him from behind and raised his staff up to block ninja's vertical strike with his sword from above. The ninja's sword got stuck in Donnie's staff, allowing the turtle in purple to wrestle in off his hands as he spun around and kicked the ninja in the chest with his right foot, knocking him back. Donnie then turned to the fourth ninja with Naginata, who brought his weapon down on the turtle in purple, but Donnie brought his staff up and blocked the weapon by its haft.

"Donatello! Hold your staff higher." Splinter instructed from the water tower. "Sweep with the left foot from that position."

Donnie then pushed his current opponent back as he turned to the fifth ninja that came towards him from behind. Donnie tried to whack him, but the ninja jumped over his swing. Donnie then turned back to the ninja who swung his Naginata down on him again, which Donnie blocked with his staff.

"Ceez! First backseat driving... and now you're backseat ninja-ing me, Master Splinter!" Donnie complained, before he raised his staff higher, which granted Donnie a wider opening to his opponent. The turtle in purple then swept the ninja's legs from under with his left foot, knocking him down. Donnie then turned to the ninja behind him as he lunged at him, but Donnie whacked him across the chest, knocking him back.

Elsewhere, Mikey was spinning his Nunchucks while backing away from four Foot Ninja, who approached him slowly but menacingly. However, the turtle in orange accidentally bumped into one ninja standing right behind his shell-back, who was quickly backed up by four ninjas more, having the turtle in orange surrounded by nine Foot Ninja. Mikey gasped in surprise as he looked at them over his left shoulder, until the turtle in orange narrowed his eyes into a firm glare and gritted his teeth angrily.

"HI-YAA!" Mikey let out as he spun himself around while swinging his Nunchucks at the ninjas, whacking each and everyone of them in the heads and chests with his wild swinging. The ninjas let out the pained groans as Mikey's weapons hit them and sent them flying away.

As all nine ninjas were lying on the roof, moaning in pain, Mikey grinned victoriously as he kept spinning his weapons.

"Ha haa! Who's the tough guy guy?! Who's the tough guy?! Mikey is! Mikey is, while you guys are NOT!" the turtle in orange cheered while taunting his downed opponents.

Mary elsewhere was still locked in her fierce duel with Jennika. Though this time the turtle in turquoise's determination was starting to pay off as she had finally managed to push the Foot Kunoichi back step by step towards the edge of the rooftop, while repeatedly clashing her Naginata with Jennika's own. Even Jennika herself saw the duel starting to turn to Mary's favor and tried to lay in the counter-attack to push Mary back, but Mary deflected her attacks with almost a little effort.

However, Jennika soon spotted the opening and managed catch Mary by surprise by whacking her in the right temple with the end of her Naginata's haft, causing the turtle in turquoise to step slightly back. While she was recovering, Jennika brought her Naginata up and swung it down on Mary, but the turtle in turqioise noticed this and quickly jumped over the Foot Kunoichi's swing and was just about to bring her weapon's blade down on Jennika, but she swung her Naginata back and caught Mary again by surprise by hitting her to the back of her right leg with her weapon's blade's flat side, which caused Mary to fly over in the air, till she landed with the pained groan onto her shell-back to the roof.

"Thank you for the duel, Marietta." Jennika thanked half-congratulatory and half-mock-sarcastically - to keep up her cover only - as she loomed over the downed turtle in turquoise, who looked up at her. "You're fine warrior, but even the mightiest ones will fall."

Jennika then raised her Naginata up for the final blow, but the Foot Kunoichi deliberately planned to make her supposed deathblow to miss its target so she wouldn't harm Marya, and partially expecting the turtle in turquoise to either dodge or counter her incoming fake blow somehow.

However, whether or not Mary bought her bluff, someone else definitely didn't.

"MARY!" Raph let out as the turtle in red surprisingly jumped in between of Foot Kunoichi and his sister and blocked Jennika's apparent deadblow with his crossed Sais.

Though surprised by Raph's sudden intervention, Jennika quickly resumed her mock-evil and cold-blooded Kunoichi and Foot lieutenat attitude and pressed her Naginata hard down, causing Raph to growl while gritting his teeth as he tried to push Jennika's Naginata's blade back. Though not showing it, Raph too was pretty surprised by Jennika's strength for such of slender and thin woman like her.

Jennika was unable to explain the situation to Raphael without being spotted from doing so by the Shredder himself, due to the fact that the turtles have cleared the rooftop almost clean from all the Foot Soldiers, but she also recognized Raph as the one who is not easy to convince as she had seen last night. And so, with great reluctantce, the Foot Kunoichi moved her Naginata's haft in between of Raph's feet before she brought with all strength her weapon up, lifting surprised turtle in red off his feet and sending him flying over in the air, until Jennika kicked the turtle in red in the shell and sent him flying away.

Witnessing this, although knowing or sensing that Jennika did what she did with great reluctance and to keep her cover up, Mary rolled away while picking up her dropped Naginata and struck its blade into the roof, before she swung herself around her upright standing weapon and towards Jennika while her attention was elsewhere. Mary caught the Foot Kunoichi off guard by kicking her in the guts with her right foot, sending her flying over to the roof.

"You better not mess with my big brother like that, or you'll piss off his younger siblings!" Mary said teasingly, as she pulled her Naginata up from the roof and turned to face the Foot Kunoichi again.

"Ooh! I shall... Ngh! I shall remember that one... Ahh! From now on. Agh!" Jennika said between of the pained groans and, while holding from his stomach with her one hand, stood back up and turned back to face Mary again.

"Good. But enough talk! Let's FINISH THIS NOW!" Mary let out and lunged at Jennika again, holding her Naginata's blade downwards and ready for the finishing blow.

However, much to Mary's surprise, Jennika dropped her own Naginata from her hands and grabbed with both hands from Mary's weapon before its blade could hit her. Then Jennika started to swing Mary's Naginata, and Mary with it, around her, before she tossed the turtle in turquoise away with the second round.

"WHOAAAA!" Mary screamed as she flew towards the edge of the roof, but she landed safely just a couple steps away from the edge.

Recovering, though groaning from aching spots all over her body, the turtle in turquoise climbed back on her feet. But when she turned around, she saw Jennika charging towards her, spinning her own Naginata wildly over her head.

"I couldn't agree more with you, turtle! Let's finally end this duel ONCE AND FOR ALL!" Jennika shouted and brought her Naginata down on the turtle in turquoise.

However, when the Foot Kunoichi came close enough, the turtle in turquoise suddenly and unexpectedly charged towards her and rammed hard into Jennika's chest with her right shoulder. The impact caused surprised Jennika to let out a groan in pain before she bend over, until Mary, bending her own legs, took the Foot Kunoichi onto her shoulders.

With Jennika resting on her shoulders, Mary then placed her left hand under the Kunoichi's chest - just above of her breasts - and her right hand under of her waist, before the turtle in turquoise then pushed herself strongly upright with her legs.

"YAA-AAHH!" Mary let out as she tossed Jennika off her shoulders, sending the Foot Kunoichi flying over the edge of the roof!

"AHHHH!" Jennika screamed as she fell down to the streets bellow.

After tossing her off, Mary turned around to see her landing to the roof, but the turtle in turquoise managed to only get the glimpse of the Foot Kunoichi before she disappeared behind of the edge of the rooftop instead.

Realizing what she had inadvertently done, Mary gasped in shock and horror! She'd never intended to kill Jennika like this. After all, she was one of those mysterious Guardians, one of those Anti-Foot fighters, those who dared to oppose the Shredder and his evil just like her family does.

Mary quickly rushed to the edge of the roof to check if Jennika had survived the fall or not, knowing that if she did, she had to do something to help her, and she nearly didn't care if this would ruin Jennika's undercover mission within the ranks of the Foot and as the Shredder's lieutenant.

However, when she reached to the edge of the roof and looked down to the street, Mary saw nothing down there. Not a single soul, not any sign of Jennika and especially not the bloody mess lying on the streets. the Foot Kunoichi was gone.

"Huh? Where did she go?" Mary asked and scratched her right temple in confusion and wonder that where Jennika could have gone.

Suddenly, the turtle in turquoise felt the blade of Ninjato-sword slashing her across her shell, though the impact caused the blade to snap in two.

"WHOA! HEY!" Mary shouted in alarm and turned around, seeing the single Foot Ninja standing behind her and holding the broken sword in his hand. The ninja stared at his damaged sword a moment in brief puzzlement, before he tossed it away in anger and pulled out two Tantos before attacking Mary again.

The ninja slashed his small blades at Mary's throat, but the turtle in turquoise quickly ducked her head down and somersaulted through of the ninja's feet, ending up to behind of the ninja's back while the ninja himself ended up to Mary's former spot on the edge of the roof. Mary then quickly jumped up and then kicked the ninja in the back with her left foot, sending him plummeting down to the street. The ninja screamed all the way down until he got instantly killed by the impact of his landing to the street.

"That'll teach you from sneaking upon the people from behind, creep!" Mary growled, though not bothering to look down at the bloody mess of the ninja's remains. The turtle in turquoise then picked up her Naginata up from the roof and turned away from the edge to resume the battle with the remaining Foot Soldiers.

Meanwhile, Leo was dealing with the reamining Foot Soldiers.

The turtle in blue was clashing with the Foot Ninja with the pair of Ninjato-swords, but Leo was gaining the dominance over the fight and pushing him back while sending the series of slices at the ninja, who barely blocked his attacks with his own sword. The ninja then tried to bring his right sword down on Leo from above while trying to send the slice at his right flank with his left sword from below, but Leo quickly turned his shell to the ninja and then raised his right sword over his head to block the ninja's right sword before he clashed his left one with the ninja's own, blocking its. Afterwards Leo lifted his left leg up and kicked the ninja in the chest, sending him flying away.

Two new Foot Ninja, one armed with staff and one with the pair of Katar-daggers, then tried to attack Leo from both sides. Leo switched his gaze alternately between both of them while waiting for them to come closer. And when they were close enough, Leo jumped up in the air, spun around and split-kicked the ninjas in the face, knocking them both back. Fourth ninja then attacked Leo from behind after he had landed back on his feet and tried to strike the turtle in blue in the head with the vertical swing of his Kama. Leo, however, spun to his left and out of the Kama's way, causing the ninja miss him, before Leo turned back to him and sliced the ninja in the legs with his left sword, sweeping them from under him and causing him to fall flat onto his back in the turtle in blue's feet.

Leo then charged towards the next ninja and knocked his sword out of the way with his left Katana before slicing him across the chest with his right one, leaving the ninja wounded and knocking him away. Leo then turned around and ducked his head down as the fifth ninja tried to severe his head off with the horizontal swing of his sword. the ninja tried to slice Leo again with the same way, but Leo leaned his head back and stepped away a couple steps. The ninja then swung his sword in arch towards Leo from above, who clashed with it with his own and moved the sword aside to his right, before Leo then thrusted his sword through of the ninja's left flank, severely wounding him and distracting him long enough for Leo to pull his sword out of him before he swung his left at him, severeing the ninja's head off with one clean swing. Afterwards, Leo turned towards the very last on his feet standing ninja and jumped at him, dive-kicking the ninja in the chest and knocking him down and out.

Leo then turned to the rest of his family, who were all standing victoriously - though tired, wet from the sweat and battered from the battle just like he himself was - over the vast black matress of the defeated Foot Ninja; all of whom were either knocked unconscious or were lying dead and some mutilated in the pools of their own blood. Donnie was leaning on his Bo-staff while Mikey and Dom were leaning on their knees with their hands, all three of them were panting tiredly. Arcee's arms were hanging limply from his shoulders, while she leaned her head back and panted tiredly, while Mary was standing next to her, landing a hand over her little sister's shoulder while holding her Naginata over her own shoulder. Raph, however, had pinned the last Foot Soldiers down to the roof and, puffing from the frenziness he was under, finished them off by slashing the throat open from one with his right Sai while relentlessly stabbing the other through the stomach repeatedly with his left one, causing the ninja to let out the pained grunts upon each stab until he finally fell limp, dead. Louie was going through the same thing, as he kicked one ninja over the edge of the roof with one foot while slashing his sword twice at two last ninjas, slicing their weapons in half and causing them both to turn around from the impact of his blade, revealing two angled and bleeding gashes in their chests and stomachs. One fell on his side to the roof while another fell onto his knees, whom Louie finished off by plunging his sword into the back of the ninja's neck, killing him instantly.

After everybody had managed to catch their breaths, all the turtles regrouped behind of their eldest brother, still ready and determined despite exhaustion, wounds and the aching places all over. Leo smiled at his brothers and sisters, before his smile turned into serious frown as he turned around to face their very last opponent: the Shredder himself.

Shredder was standing all by himself in the other side of the rooftop, his glaring eyes locked with Leo and the turtles and not paying mind on his defeated army before him.

Leo then raised one of his blood-stained Katanas up and pointed it towards the Shredder. "This is it, Shredder! Your army has fallen! And you're standing all by yourself!

"It will be enough!" Shredder snarled with confidence before he raised his gauntlet's up; the left one in front of him and the right one behind of him. "Come, turtles! Come and meet your doom!"

"OKAY! YOU ASKED FOR IT!" Louie let out and pushed through of his brothers to charge towards the Shredder all by himself.

"LOUIE, WAIT!" Dom shouted after his foolhardy brother, but in vain. Louie ignored him as he kept charging towards the Shredder. "Oh, make the turtle soup out of me!" Dom groaned with the faceplam in annoyance with his brother.

"THIS IS FOR MY ARM AND MY BUTTERFLY SWORDS, YOU TIN CAN!" Louie roared as he lunged at the Shredder and swung his sword at the evil Foot Lord.

However, Shredder ducked under of Louie's swing and stepped back a litte as Louie landed on hit feet in front of him and swung his sword at him again, only for the Shredder to raise both his arms up and block the blade with his gauntlets and their curved spikes. Before Louie could do anything else, Shredder suddenly backhanded the turtle in black across the face with his right hand before he punched him in the face with the left fist. Right afterwards, the Shredder lunged at Louie and kneed him hard in his busted right arm!

"AAARRRGGGHHH!" Louie howled from the top of his lungs as the Shredder's knee caused the massive surge of pain that ran along his arm to his right shoulder and beyond. Dropping the sword from his hand, Louie glutched with it to his busted arm while stepping away from the Shredder. "Come on! Not again!" the turtle in black whined with the strained voice through of his gritted teeth.

Chuckling darkly at Louie's pain, the Shredder walked to him and grabbed the turtle in black by the throat with his right hand - as if mocking Louie for having the busted arm while his own was still very functional - and lifted him off the roof in the air. Louie struggled in the Shredder's grip, coughing and letting out wheezy groans out of his mouth as the Shredder tightened his grip around his throat.

The Shredder suddenly tossed Louie in the air, before he himself jumped after him, and upon reaching him the Shredder spun himself around before he landed the devastative kick with his left foot in Louie's chest, sending the turtle in black flying into the wall near the water tower, which knocked him half-unconscious.

"LOUIE!" the turtles shouted in unison after witnessing their brother receiving the rough manhandling from the Shredder.

Raph gritted his teeth in anger and turned to the Shredder. "THAT'S IT, YOU DAMNED BASTARD!" Raph swore and charged towards the Shredder, followed one by one by the rest of the turtles.

Raph lunged at the Shredder with his Sais held downwards and ready to strike, but the evil Foot Lord stepped quickly out of the way, causing Raph to miss him and land on his feet next to him, though the Shredder then slashed his left gauntlet's claws hard down and towards Raph as he turned to him. Raph pulled his Sais up to defend himself from them, but was knocked off his feet and sent flying backwards by the impact and landed flat onto his shell to the ground a short distance away.

Donnie charged at the Shredder next, spinning his Bo wildly over his head as he prepared to whack the Shredder with it. However, as Donnie came close enough, Shredder pulled his left hand back and began to give Donnie the series of palm strikes with both of hands. (PAFF!) (PAFF!) (PAFF!) (PAFF!) (PAFF!) (PAFF!) (PAFF!) (PAFF!) (PAFF!) (PAFF!) And finally the Shredder punched Dom in the face (PAFF!). The last one sent Donnie - face full of hand-sized bruises - flying in the air until the turtle in purple hit in the wall next to downed Louie.

Mary charged in next and brough her Naginaga hard down at the Shredder in hope to hit him in the head, but the Shredder caught the Naginata blade in between of his hands inches away from his face, similarly how Splinter had caught Leo's sword much earlier. Mary tried to press her Naginata down with all her strength, but the evil Foot Lord suddenly twisted the weapon hard to his right, causing the Naginata's haft to snap in two from beneath the blade. "WHOA!" Mary yelped as she stumpled forward due to her second Naginata's destruction, allowing the Shredder to finish her off with the upwards pointed palm-strike in the turtle in turquoise's jaw, sending her flying away, till she landed onto her shell next to Donnie and Louie.

Leo then lunged at the Shredder and slashed both his Katanas horizontally at the evil Foot Lord, who swung his gauntlets' claws upwards and clashed them with Leo's swords, deflecting them and causing Leo to land behind of his left shoulder. Shredder then turned around, raising his left gauntlet's claws and prepared to bring them down on Leo while his shell was still turned to him.

"LEO! NO!" Raph called, after recovering from the Shredder's strike and witnessing his brother about to get struck down, and jumped in between the evil Foot Lord and his brother, blocking the Shredder's claws with his crossed Sais. Unlike with Jennika earlier, the Shredder's pressure was even harder, causing Raph to groan through his gritted teeth as he tried to keep his claws away.

However, the Shredder moved his right hand forward underneath of Raph's defense and grabbed him by his belt, lifting the surprised turtle in red up before throwing him away and into the wall, hard enough that his shell left the cracked dent in it, before he fell in between of Mary and Donnie.

Dom then charged towards the Shredder and tried to whack him in the head with his remaining Tonfa, but the Shredder caught his arm by the wrist, preventing him from hitting hom, before the evil Foot Lord struck Dom hard in the chest, forcing the air out of the turtle in white's lungs. Dom groaned loudly in pain and fell onto his knees, bending over while holding his good arm over his sore chest. However, the Shredder then grabbed Dom by his shell and lifted him up, swinging him around him before tossing him away. Yelling, Dom hit the wall in between of Donnie and Louie, before the defeated turtle in white fell flat onto his stomach.

Arcee was about to charge at the Shredder with her Tessens, until the turtle in pink halted still upon seeing Dom getting his shell kicked before being sent flying past her to where her defeated brothers and sister were. Though feeling nervous about the rough manhandling and the beating she was about to receive from the Shredder, Arcee turned around to face him anyway. However, before she could take any step forward, the turtle in pink frozed in spot as she looked up in the sky. Her eyes went wide, her skin went pale and she lowered her Tessens down upon seeing the Shredder having made his move before she could have and was at the moment falling from the sky towards her, which his shadow falling upon the turtle in pink.

"Oh, shell." Arcee muttered quietly, before the Shredder shot his left foot down towards her and kicked the turtle in pink away.

"AHHHHHHHH!" the turtle in pink screamed during her flight, till she hit in the wall and fell onto her side in between of Donnie and Dom, who were instantly by their little sister's side to see if she was hurt too bad.

Mikey then charged towards the Shredder while spinning his Nunchucks wildly in his hands, but before he could even send the single whack upon him, the Shredder spun around to his right and palm-struck Mikey hard in the face, sending the turtle in orange flying away while spinning around.

"AGH!" Mikey groaned as he hit the shell-first against the wall, leaving the cracked dent in it before falling onto his butt next to Louie. "Ow!" he whined, touching his head.

Seeing his brothers and sisters being defeated, Leo readied himself for the final attack. The Shredder then turned to him and the two locked their glaring eyes together. Leo held his left sword horizontally in front of him while holding his right over his head and pointed its blade at the Shredder, who held his claws up and ready to face the last turtle standing. The tense standoff lasted for a brief moment, before Leo lunged at the Shredder and the Shredder jumped towards Leo as well.

"YAAAA!" Leo let out as he brought his swords over his head and ready for the strike!

"HAAAA!" Shredder roared as he pulled his right gauntlet's claws back and ready to strike then at Leo!

Leo and the Shredder met in the mid-air, where their weapons clashed with each other with the sharp and in the air ringing clank.

The turtles, as well as the Splinter from the top of the water tower, all gasped in shock when they saw how the duel between their brother and the Shredder ended, and it didn't end well for Leo! One of turtle in blue's Katanas flew across the air towards them, before it landed clattering to the roof and skidded in front of the turtles, while Leo himself, still holding the other sword tightly in his right fist, landed heavily flat onto his shell to the roof with the pained grunt, defeated and with two deeps cratches in his plastron!

Shredder then landed next to Leo, vctorious and having not even the single dent in his armor, before he knelt over Leo and grabbed him by his throat with his right hand, lifting the defeated and weak turtle in blue off the roof and in the air, as he turned towards Leo's family. Letting out the weak yet pained groans from his mouth due to the Shredder's tight, Leo glared down at the Shredder with defiance and the firm refusal to give up fighting in front of the certain death. Under his helmet's mask, the Shredder snorted in frustration at this, before he brought his left hand up, squeezed it into the fist and then punched Leo in the face.

"AHHHH!" Leo shouted as the Shredder's punch sent him flying towards the others, with the tip of his Katanas skidding across the surface of the rooftop, before he hit in the wall, leaving there yet another cracked dent along with the three others that came from Raph, Mikey, Dom and Louie.

Leo then fell onto his butt to the roof, before all eight turtles gathered together weakly, while holding from their sore spots and bad limbs.

As all those Foot Ninja, who had only been knocked unconscious, started to recover enough to walk, limp or crawl away to their own side of the rooftop, the Shredder walked over to the turtles, while the Splinter witnessed the scene from his spot in the water tower.

All eight of them watched in horror as the Shredder's shadow loomed over them, before the evil Foot Lord raised his left gauntlet up, which claws glinted ominously in the light of the moon that peeked through of the gaps in the clouds, preparing to slaughter each one of the turtles without showing mercy.

"Like I told you: None of you will leave from this rood alive!" Shredder snarled and prepared to bring his claws down on the turtles.

Just then, Splinter narrowed his eyes in the angry glare, knowing that now was the time for him to step forward.

"SHREDDER!" Splinter shouted, jumping down from the tower and draving out his Katana. "NOOOOOOOO!"

Splinter's voice caught the Shredder's attention and he turned to look to his right at the same time as he was about to bring his claws down on the turtles, until Splinter's sword flew against his claws, stopping them and preventing him from killing his children.

"WHAT?! A RAT?!" Shredder gasped at the sight of Splinter, surprised by his mutant rat appearance.

Using the Shredder's surprise as his advantage, Splinter quickly poked his enemy in the head with the end of his staff, knocking the Shredder's head back. Splinter then jumped in the air and spun himself around, whacking the Shredder in the head again with his tail like the whip, causing him to step back. And after the second spin sround, Splinter sent the powerful kick with his left foot in the Shredder's armored chest, which sent the evil Foot Lord flying in the air, until he landed with the loud and metallic thud onto his back to the roof. And his landing caused his helmet to fly off his head, revealing Oroku Saki from under it once again.

Stunned and slightly disoriented, Shredder crawled onto his knees before he lifted his gaze up to see the one who had attacked him with such of strength and skills, which left even the evil Foot Lord himself in brief disbelief. Splinter himself stood protectively in front of his children, holding both his staff and Katana up and ready while glaring at the Shredder angrily and with contempt.

"You will not lay your hands on my children, Oroku Saki!" Splinter growled.

"Your children?" Shredder questioned as he eyed Splinter carefully from the tips of his ears down to his clawed feet and the tip of the tail. Shredder then turned to Leo, remembering the turtle in blue saying about him being the son and the student of the one called Splinter.

"So this is your master and father, Leonardo? Master Splinter, wasn't it? Freaks all the same!" Shredder spat as he stood back up to his feet.

"I am more than just that, Oroku Saki." Splinter said, gaining the Shredder's attention from Leo back to him. "We two met earlier fifteen years ago, when I was a normal rat back then. At the appartment of my beloved master, Hamato Yoshi."

Hearing that name, Shredder's eyes snapped wide open, as it stirred the distant memory of the event that took place at the appartment owned by the man by the same name fifteen years ago.

"Hamato Yoshi." the Shredder muttered in thoughts.

He also remembered there to be the cage in Yoshi's appartment, in which was the single rat. The same rat who had attacked Tatsu's faces when he was about to execute Hamato Yoshi by his orders after the failed interrogation. And if this rat before him was the very same rat with the exact knowledge of that night's events just like he did, then that meant...

Shredder narrowed his eyes harder at the Splinter, while putting together the events of that night and all the recent events between of the Foot and the turtles.

"Then that explains everything." Shredder snarled through of his gritted teeth as he came to the conclusion that all the troubles he has had with the turtles were all because of what had happened that night.

"BUT NO MATTER OF THAT! YOU ALL SHALL PERISH TODAY!" Shredder roared furiously as he charged at the Splinter, flipping in the air before he brought his left gauntlet's claws down on Splinter, who blocked them with both his staff and his Katana.

"NOT TODAY! NOT EVER!" Splinter snapped back. "You already destroyed my family once! I won't allow that to happen again! This I swear, on my life!" he swore determinedly.

Shredder growled angrily. "NO MAN, OR FREAK, CAN DEFEAT ME, RAT!" he growled, pushing Splinter back with his claws.

"That remains to be seen, murderer!" Splinter retorted venomously, pushing the Shredder back.

Splinter then spun around to his left, moving the Shredder's claws away with his staff before turning back to him and slashing the Shredder hard across his armored back with his Katana, causing the Shredder to groan in surprise. As the Shredder turned bac kto him, Splinter then thrusted his staff back, poking the evil Foot Lord hard in the stomach, causing him groan again and step back.

Shredder then turned around and swung his left claws at Splinter, but the old rat master flipped over the swing. Shredder then tried right afterwards slash his right claws at Splinter with the uppercut strike, but Splinter leaned his head backwards, causing Shredder to miss him by mere inches. Shredder then raised his right claws up before he brought them down on Splinter and repeared the same with his left claws, but Splinter brought his sword up and blocked the Shredder's right claws, moving them away, before he slashed his sword against the Shredder's left claws. The Shredder tried to repeat the samer technique, but Splinter then swung his staff in arch upwards and whacked with it into the Shredder's right wrist, before he swung it horizontally into his left wrist, knocking it away. Shredder then tried to slash Splinter in the head with his left claws and into his left flank with his right claws at the same time, but Splinter raised his staff over his head to block the Shredder's claws aimed to his head and clashed his Katana with the Shredder's right claws, blocking them as well. Splinter then kicked him in the stomach wit hhis right foot before he spun around to his right and spinning hook-kicked the Shredder in the chest, knocking him slightly back.

Splinter the flipped towards the Shredder and brought his Katana down on his unprotected head to split it in two, though the Shredder blocked the strike by clashing both his claws at it, though this allowed Splinter to poke him hard in the stomach with the end of his staff, causing the Shredder to bend over a little, before Splinter turned his back to his enemy and kicked him with the frontal flip-kick in the face. Splinter then dropped his staff to the roof and, grabbing from the hilt of his sword with both hands, tried to plunge its blade over his head and onto the Shredder with his back still turned to him, but the evil Foot Lord caught Splinter's sword between of his left claws and, with the help of his right hand which he brought onto the sword's blade, twisted the sword out of Splinter's hands and sent it flying away from his reach. Before he could've brought his claws on Splinter after disarming him, the old rat master spun around and swung his tail at the Shredder's right foot, sweeping it from under and causing him to fall onto his right knee. Splinter then jumped at the Shredder and by spinning himself around again, he whacked the Shredder in the head with his tail, knocking the Shredder flat onto his back to the roof, though only for a brief moment as the evil Foot Lord soon jumped back onto his feet.

Once back on his feet, the Shredder looked up and saw Splinter flying towards him, about to deliver the dive-kick on him with his right foot. Shredder growled through his gritted teeth and brought up his right claws to slash him as Splinter was about to land his kick on him. However, even though Splinter whacked Shredder's right arm and claws out of the way with his staff, Shredder held his ground firmly against Splinter's incoming kick as his right foot landed onto his armored chest. But even though Splinter's kick didn't knock the Shredder off his feet and over to the roof, the force of the impact and his own weight together did cause him to arch his back a little. Before the Shredder could've bring his claws up to slash Splinter, the old rat master, realizing that his attack didn't work, quickly planted his other leg onto the Shredder's chest and jumped off, flying all the way to the bottom of the water tower.

Splinter then turned briefly to the water tower's support beams on both sides of him, carefully examining them for any advantages they might offer him and pondering how to use them to defeat his enemy. After a while, an idea came to the old rat master's mind and he turned back towards the Shredder, daring him to come to him with his finger.

Splinter then backed behind of the tower's supports as the Shredder charged directly at him, roaring furiously. After reaching to him under the tower, the Shredder first tried to bring his right claws down on Splinter from above, but Splinter blocked them with his staff, then ducked his head down as the Shredder tried to slash him horizontally with his left claws. Splinter then moved to his left to duck the Shredder's attempt to punch him directly with his right fist and claws, before the old rat master then jumped backwards as the Shredder spun himself around and tried to spin-kick him in the head with his left foot. Splinter then brought his staff horizontally up to block the Shredder's left claws as he tried to slash them at him, before Splinter moved his staff upright to shield himself from the Shredder's kick with his right foot, then stepped back and out of the way as Shredder tried to slash him again with his left claws.

Splinter then backed faster away from the Shredder as he followed him and ceaselessly sent at him the series of vertical and horizontal slashes with both of his claws. Splinter dodged nearly all of them and he only brought his staff up to shield himself against some of the attacks if they came too close for him to dodge them.

Shredder then spun around and tried to sweep Splinter's legs from under with his right foot, causing Splinter to jump over it. Shredder then shot his right leg upwards into a snap-kick in a quick attempt to kick Splinter while the old rat master was still in the air after his jump, but he missed him a second too late as Splinter fell out of the way and back to his feet to the roof. Growling from the clear frustration, Shredder lunged forward and slashed Splinter with his left claws. Splinter ducked his head down and out of the way, leading Shredder to slash at the support beam behind of Splinter's back, partially slicing it in two.

Splinter looked at the damaged beam and smirked. He had got the Shredder right there where he had wanted him.

Shredder then tried to slash Splinter again, but he dodged and caused the Shredder to slice the support beam completely off. Splinter then jumped away and in front of the next support beam, before he jumped away as the Shredder followed him and sent another slash at him, only to slice through this support beam as well. Splinter kept jumping from one support beam to another, luring the Shredder to slice his claws through of all of them one by one. (SLASH!) (SLASH!) (SLASH!) Splinter also lured the Shredder to follow him around of the metal tube that connected the water tower to the roof and to make him absentmindedly yet savagely slash his claws through it all the way around... (SLASH!) (SLASH!) (SLASH!) (SLASH!) (SLASH!) (SLASH!) (SLASH!) (SLASH!) (SLASH!)... cutting the entire structure loose from the roof.

Shredder only noticed this when now unstable water tower started to wobble and let out the creaking sound.

"What is this?!" he demanded to know.

Splinter, standing outside of the tower's supports, narrowed his eyes at the Shredder as he prepared himself for the final blow.

"This... is for my master HAMATO YOSHI!" he shouted and then the old rat master jumped up and towards one of the loose support beams, giving it a strong kick with his left foot!

Shredder turned to Splinter and gasped with wide eyes, as he saw the old rat master standing casually behind the water tower as it started to tilt forward and towards him! The flock of pigeons on top of the tower felt that the tower was about to fall over and flew off into sky. The turtles stared up at the water tower with wide eyes as it was about to fall down.

"TIMBEEEEEEEERRRR!" Louie shouted in alarm.

"EVERYBODY IN THE HIGH GROUND!" Leo ordered.

The turtles began hurriedly climb up on top of the wall to evade the inevitable, helping each other and their wounded own - as Louie and Dom had only one good arms and Mikey had his busted ankle, which made the climbing difficult - to the safety as the tower's shadow fell upon them.

Shredder backed away from the tower as it tilted to the point where nothing could stop its inevitable fall onto him. Upon seeing this, the evil Foot Lord turned around and started to run to escape getting crushed under the tower.

However, this didn't go unnoticed by the turtles.

"OH, NO YOU DON'T!" Louie roared, as he took his Manriki-gusaris from his belt with his good hand and began spin the chains wildly around above his head.

Seeing what Louie was about to do, Donnie and Mary both joined him by raising their Bo-staff and the haft of the broken Naginata up over their heads and went into a throwing stances, aiming their throws at the fleeing Shredder. Following her sister's and brothers' example, Arcee, who had earlier salvaged one of the Foot Soldier's discarded Yumi-bow and one intact arrow, placed the arrow onto the bow's string before she lifted the bow up and took the aim at the Shredder, pulling the string tightly back.

"YOU'RE NOT GOING ANYWHERE, SHREDDER, NOT WITHOUT FACING THE DESERVED PUNISHMENT FOR EVERYTHING YOU'VE DONE!" Louie declared, before he sent his chains flying with horizontal spinning motion towards the Shredder.

And at the same time as Louie threw his chains away, Arcee released the string and sent the arrow into flight, while Donnie and Mary threw their staves at the fleeing evil Foot Lord.

Arcee's arrow hit the Shredder in the back of his right shoulder guard, but had otherwise no major effect on him aside of sending the Foot Lord nearly off balance upon impact, which probably was Arcee's major intention instead of just shooting her arrow into the back of the Shredder's head. Mary's Naginata then flew underneath of the Shredder's right arm pit while Donnie's staff flew between of his legs, at the same time as Louie's chains hit their target and wrapped tightly around of the Shredder's whole form, tying his arms against him and his feet together and Donnie's and Mary's staves helped them to go into the tangled lock around of the Shredder. This caused the surprised Foot Lord to fall over to the roof.

"CURSE YOU, TURTLES!" Shredder spat as he struggled in his bindings in the roof.

Even though the Shredder could have possibly break easily free from the chains, he got no time for it when he saw the water tower hitting to the roof and shattered open upon the impact, freeing the water masses stored inside it. This caused a massive tidal wave that swept through the entire rooftop, taking away both Shredder and all of his Foot Ninjas, both dead and living ones, and washed them off the rooftop before the wave hit to the streets bellow.

As the water washed away, it left behind dozens of soaking wet and weakened ninjas tangled over the fire escape. Some of them were hanging over the railings half-conscious and moaning in pain, while others had managed to get the hold of som ething to prevent them from being taken down by the wave. However, the street bellow the building was filled with large number of Foot Ninja, that were either knocked unconscious or killed upon the impact to the street. In middle of all of them was lying the Shredder himself, just beneath of the fire escape.

Partially still tangled with Louie's chains but otherwise free, the Shredder woke up and slowly rose to his knees. Then he turned around, and his eyes went wide from the shock as he saw the upper part of the water tower falling over the edge of the roof and falling directly down towards him, possibly knocked over the edge by Splinter and the turtles.

"NOOOOOOOO!" Shredder shouted, before the tower smashed onto him, shattering into pieces upon impact and crushing the evil Foot Lord under it!

Splinter and the turtles gathered to the edge of the roof and looked down at the remains of the water tower. Seeing no sign of the Shredder trying to crawl out under of the debris, which logically would be impossible, they assumed that the Shredder was gone for good.

The war was over.

Louie glared down at the debris while holding in his good hand the Shredder's helmet, which Splinter had earlier knocked off his head during their fight.

"It seems that the Shredder... has been crushed!" Louie said with the deep dramatic voice, before the turtle in black spitefully threw the helmet off and let it fall onto the debris, marking it as the Shredder's grave.(4)

The turtles then turned to Splinter, who was standing quietly still and with his eyes peacefully closed, which worried his children.

"Master Splinter?" Leo asked.

"Faster?" Arcee asked, worried for her father.

"You okay?" Mikey asked.

Splinter sighed. "Yes, my son. I'm alright." Splinter then stood quietly still for a moment, before he opened his mouth again. "Come. We have avenged my Master Yoshi and defeated the Shredder once and for all. Let us go home in peace." he finished, as he turned around and started to walk away.

All eight turles followed him right behind.

"I'm all over that, sensei." Donnie sighed happily.

"Yeah, me too!" Raph agreed wholeheartedly.

"Ohh! I'm so tired!" Arcee moaned. "I can't wait to get into my bed and under my sweet warm blanket to have a well-earned sleep."

"We all are, Arcee. We all are." Dom said softly.

"I'm aching all over!" Louie groaned. "Now a hot bath would be nice!"

"I gotta tell ya, guys? Home has never sounded so good." Leo admitted.

However, unknown to Splinter and the turtles, as the Shredder's helmet lied on its side on top of the wreckage of the shattered water tower, the Shredder's left arm suddenly pushed its way out from under the debris with the gauntlet's claws, meaning that the Shredder was still alive and that the war between him and the turtles was far from being over!

1) = Arcee's dreadful thoughts about Foot commencing the bloody manhunt on them are based on the subway station's hostage scene from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2014 film, where Foot Clan took the civilians as hostages to lure the turtles out and threatened to execute them if the turtles didn't show up.
