As the moon shone in the dark purple-dyed night sky over the New York City, two figures, who looked like the superheroes, ran and jumped along the rooftops.
One of the two was dressed in the red mask and long red cape, which had the black circle-shaped cowl with the orange-colored initials 'TT' hanging over the chest. The figure was wearing the brown gloves and high brown boots and he carried in his right arm the turtle-shell-like shell and a bundle of long rope and grappling hook in his belt.
The other figure was dressed into the superhero costume that resembled closely Batman's Robin's outfit: The red mask covering the top of the figure's head and red suit with the yellow short sleeves, folded colar and bottoms, shorter thigh-length yellow cape and orange gloves and boots.
When the two figures stopped on the edge of the rooftop, the figures were revealed to be Michelangelo and Artimesia in the superhero-suits.
"Nope, you haven't tuned into the wrong show. That's us, Michelangelo and Artemisia, under the cape and cowl."
Mikey and Arcee then looked up to the sky and saw the rather muscular and broad-shouldered superhero-like figure, who was 'literally' floating in the air and stood dramatically against the full moon. He was dressed into all white superhero suit with the blue-colored falcon-like symbol in the chest and he wore the white mask over his face. And to finish the figure's suit, the superhero-like figure was wearing the blue cape - which had another similar but silver-colored falcon-like symbol on the backside - over his shoulders, which was waving gracefully in the night breeze.
"And that flying dude up in the sky? His name's Silver Sentry. The city's current superhero, the Falcon of Justice, Protector of Innocense, a real-life's Superman, the guy in silver-white who shines in the bright moonlight like the star. The guy who flies like a falcon but speeds like a fighter jet. The guy who easily lifts up the heavy objects as if they weight only as much as the feather. The guy who protects the innocent people while capturing the criminals, bad guys and super villains."
The floating figure, called Silver Sentry, looked down at them before he flew off and past the turtles. Mikey and Arcee followed his going for a moment, before both of them took out the grappling hooks tied in the ropes. The turtles in pink and orange then began spinning the grappling hooks around before throwing them away.
"We're in the middle of our first superhero type team up. He just doesn't know it yet."
Mikey's and Arcee's grappling hooks then wrapped around of the billboard's headlight and the nearby antenna, allowing Mikey and Arcee to swung from the building onto another one, before the two then followed Silver Sentry on the foot, running and hopping along the rooftops as they did while trying their best to keep up with the Sentry.
However, after running for a while, both Mikey and Arcee stopped when they noticed that they had arrived to the edge of the East River, near of the Manhattan Bridge.
"You'd think an earthbound turtle like me would have a rough time keeping up with a guy who can soar through the sky like an eagle."
Mikey and Arcee then turned around and saw Silver Sentry flying right past them again and across the river to the other side, leaving Mikey and Arcee behind without any way for them to keep up with him now.
"And you know what? You'd be right."
(The camera screen pulls away from New York City with couple light beams waving above the town. Then a four green letters forming the word TMNT towers over the city.)
"TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES"
(The screen rises to the edge of the roof, on which is standing eight green shadowy humanoid creatures with the turtle-like features. "IT'S A SHELL OF THE TOWN!"
(As the turtle in orange leaps off, the Battle Shell flies in arc over the street before landing back to the ground. Then its back doors open up and two of the turtles, Raphael and Lorenzo, rocket out of the car in the backs of red and avocado green bikes before skidding them sideways to a stop.)
(In the alleyway, next to the blue armored car, the eight turtles crouch down before leaping to attack towards the camera, with Michelangelo taking the lead and kicks the screen with his foot.)

(A red-haired young woman, named April O'Neil, is then seen winking at the camera from the cockpit of the helicopter with the rope hanging from its undercarriage, which she flies past of the blue tower with the Japanese style palace on top of it. On top of it, two turtles, Donatello and Domenico are seeing battling six Foot Ninja on the edge, until they're knocked off the building. Falling down, Domenico grabs from the helicopter's rope with one hand and grabs with his free one from Donnie's hand, cutting his falling, and they're both lifted up in the air.)
("THREE!")
"ALWAYS STICK TOGETHER NO MATTER WHAT"
(In the dark alley, the eight turtles are standing shell to shell in middle of the bright spotlight, while they're surrounded by the dozens and dozens of in the darkness standing and heavily armed Foot Ninja that keep coming from the darkness and rooftops above of the alley. ("FOUR!")
"IF ALL ELSE FAILS, THEN IT'S TIME TO KICK BUTT!"
(Screen rises up to the tall buildings.)
(Artimesia jumps from the left with her legs bent under, while spinning around and swinging her sharp Tessens around, and at the same time Michelangelo jumps from the right. With the smirk on his face, the turtle in orange makes the flip in the air while spinning his Nunchucks wildly.)
(Then, Donatello jumps from the right, spinning his Bo-staff with his left hand while swinging it over his head before grabbing it with both hands and bringing it down hard. Right after him, Lorenzo jumps from the right, holding his left Butterfly sword in front of him and his right Butterfly sword over his head, before swinging them forward to slash with them the air in front of him.)
(Then a 14-year-old girl with purple-dyed hair styled in pigtails, named Angel, jumps from the left after the turtle in black and shoots the punch towards the screen with her left fist. Then a tall blue-haired and -eyed man with the hockey mask on his face, named Casey Jones, jumps from the right and whacks the screen with his hockey stick.)

(Cut to the wide shot, where seven silhouettes of the turtles are seen running, jumping and flipping along the rooftops, water towers and chimneys, as the camera follows them. One of the turtles swings over them by the chain with one hand like Tarzan.)
(Then two narrower screens appear to above and beneath of the rooftop screen, showing the repeating line of turtles in blue's and purple's masked faces above and the line of turtles in red and orange's masked faces beneath, moving to the opposite direction.)
"I LOVE BEING' A..."
"I LOVE BEING' A..."
"I LOVE BEING' A TURTLE!"
(The turtles then land to the ground in front of the building. Leonardo is in the middle, Donatello, Marietta and Domenico are in his right side while Michelangelo, Lorenzo and Artemisia are in his left side. All seven then ran towards the camera that moves between of Leo's legs.)
"TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES!"
(Then, Raphael races over the building in the back of the bike and jumps off it towards and past the camera.)
"TURTLES COUNT IT OFF:"
(The screen splits into four narrow screens again, this time from left to right.)
"FIVE, SIX"
(In the first one, Marietta is pointing her Naginata's blade at the screen. In the second one, Lorenzo is holding his Butterfly-swords upside down in his arms, while holding the left one horizontally in front of his face and right one over his head.)

(TURTLES!)
(Domenico is seen stabbing with his left and then his right Tonfa at one practice dummy in his right to the head, knocking it back. Then he turns around and spin-kicks the other dummy in his left in the head with his right foot. Then the turns around and whacks the camera with his left Tonfa.)
"BEWARE, THE BADDIES!"
(TURTLES!)
(The screen pulls back, showing Artemisia skating with the pair of pink roller skates along the rooftop as she is being chased by the dozen Foot Ninja with the swords. Four more ninjas appears from the sides of the screen, chasing after the skating turtle in pink. She peeks over her left shoulder at them, smirks and then picks up the pace, skating into the camera.)
"MUTANTS NINJAS ARE ON THE MOVE!"
(Arcee then skates towards a pretty large ninja with the sword held up and ready to strike (with her pursuers' running feet showing in the sides of the screen). However, as the Large Foot Ninja tries to strike at the turtle in pink horizontally, she grabs from both of his wrists, spins around and throws him over her shoulder at her pursuers. The ninja flies towards the camera face-first.)
(Arcee then turns around and somersaults over the edge of the building. The screen then moves down in front of with the wooden boards boarded doorway, before the Battle Shell - with Domenico in the driver's seat and Marietta in the passenger's seat - smashes through it, allowing the turtle in pink to land onto its roof.)
(Screen then turns to the back-doors of the Battle Shell as it is chased by two Foot Ninja on motorbikes, until the back-doors fly open and Lorenzo jumps out with the barrel-roll, landing on his shell to the street, somersaulting back to his feet and then lunging at the ninjas, knocking them both off the bikes as he flies face-first at the camera.)
"TURTLES COUNT IT OFF"
(The screen splits into two horizontal screens again: the upper screen shows a turquoise-masked face with lightly frowned glare, while lower screen shows Artemisia, Leonardo and Marietta in the snowy woods, staring at the five silhouetted canine-like humanoid beings with various colored face-paints (dark purple, light blue, crimson, silver and green) standing in line. They all hit their fists with their fist before bowing to each other.)
(In the next one, lower screen shows a white-masked face with deep frown while upper screen shows the silhouetted canine-like humanoid with white fur and dark purple face-paint. Wielding a single Kama in its right had, the figure fights two hunter-looking men with the hunting rifles: kicking away one standing front of it with the left foot before elbowing the second one standing behind the back in the face with its right elbow. The figure then turns around, snarls ferally at the camera before slicing the screen in half with its Kama.)
("FIVE!")
"WE'LL ALWAYS FIGHT AGAINST THE EVIL!"
(In the third one, upper screen shows a black-masked face with the wide eyes, while the lower screen shows Lorenzo and Angel standing back to shell-back in middle of the ring of the silhouetted enemies.)
(In the fourth one, the lower screen shows a pink-masked face with the soft stare, while the upper screen shows Louie and Angel turning to each other and taking each other from hands, before the turtle in black swings the girl around him in the air. As Louie swings Angel towards the camera, she kicks the screen with her foot.)
("SIX!")
"WE COME, STRIKE HARD, AND VANISH INTO NIGHT"
(A next shot shows two buildings standing next to each other, until Donatello and Marietta appear from the left side of the screen and jump over the gap between the buildings (with Marietta pole-vaulting over the gap with her Naginata). Then four turtles, led by Leonardo, followed by Raphael and Artemisia and lastly Domenico, are seen rushing forward along the streets, weapons in hands. Michelangelo and Lorenzo are then seen following them right behind: the former by zipping along the rope with his Nunchaku and the latter by swinging by the chain like Tarzan while spinning the other one wildly around with his free hand.)
("SEVEN!")
"AS A TEAM, WE'LL ALWAYS HAVE EACH OTHER'S SHELLS."
(In the next shot, we see all eight turtles standing under the light in the darkness, with their backs turned to the camera as it pulls away from them. As they all turn around to the camera, they draw out their weapons and take their individual battle-stances, ready to face whoever is standing in front of them.)
("EIGHT!")
"AND WE'LL NEVER LEAVE OUR BUDDIES BEHIND!"
(Out of darkness appears Baxter Stockman, with the black eye-patch over his right missing eye, glaring menacingly at the camera while being surrounded by the dozens of menacing-looking Mousers, snapping their jaws. Stockman points at the camera with his finger as if ordering the attack and the Mousers lunge forward, snarling menacingly.)
(Camera moves to the right, showing Tatsu backed up by the group of Foot Ninja behind him. The scarred man draws out a sword from his X-shaped scabbard in his back and raises it with both hands up and next to the scarred side of his faces, pointing its tip at the camera while glaring himself darkly at the camera.)
(Camera moves then to the right again, this time showing a strange female creature with the pale yellowish skin, huge red eyes, long elf-like pointy ears, slightly hooked nose, shoulder-length black hair and wide grin that shows her mouth full of sharp teeth. She was dressed into black dress and a hooded cape, dark-blue and white-stripped pantyhose, ruby-red elf-like slippers and a long and slithering elf-like black hat. With the mischievous grin on her face, the creature waved its hands over, followed by the glowing aura and the flow of glowing various-colored stars in her left hand and the various-colored lightnings in her right hand, as if it was the magic.)
(Camera moves to the right once more, this time showing a mobster-like barrel-chested man with the thick eyebrows, mustache, double chin and tidy haircut. He was dressed in the blue shirt and a red black-spotted cravat, over which he wore a mafia-like olive green suit with the golden stripes. He had a same style pants and the shiny black-tipped brown shoes. He wore on his head a grayish-brown fedora hat and he had a cigar in his mouth. Backed up by several tough-looking guys in the mafia-like suits and fedora-hats - all armed with various guns or melee weapons - the man took the cigar out of his mouth and, with the nasty sneer, he pointed with his finger forward.)
(The screen turns back to the turtles, showing Donatello whacking several robots away with his staff while Raphael lands on one, crushing it, while stabbing his Sais through of two other)
(Domenico then moves to stab with his left Tonfa in one ninja's guts, before he turns around and whacks with his right one in the second ninja's chest, knocking him away, after which Artemisia slices the third ninja's staff in half with her Tessens before spinning around and kicking him in the chest with her left foot.)
(The strange pointy-eared creature then flies over to strike them with the magical lightnings, only for Marietta to pole-vault with her Naginata towards the creature before she lands a kick to her right side, knocking the creature off the air.)
(Three mafia thugs: one in the white shirt, black cravat, turquoise suit and reddish-brown fedora-hat, second one in the black shirt, green cravat, the brown suit and with the golden fedora-hat and third large, muscular, slightly hunchbacked, broad-shouldered and big-nosed guy with the thick eyebrows, shaven face and protruding lower jaw, who was dressed in the checkered blue-white shirt, red black-spotted bow tie, dark purple suit and a small dark blue bowler hat on top his head, rushed towards the turtles, only for Michelangelo to snap-kick away the turquoise-suited thug in the left, while Lorenzo kicks the brown-suited thug in the right in the guts before the big thug in the middle ends up being kicked away by Leonardo, who then spins around before crossing his swords in front of his face.)
(Cut to the wide three-leveled shot, where two silhouettes of two turtles are first seen running along the sewer pipe: One turtle is on foot while another turtle is skating along the pipe's rounded walls.)
"I LOVE BEING' A..."
(Screen moves upwards to the street level, where three silhouettes of three turtles are running along the streets: One is running on foot down the street, while second one is riding on the bike and third one is hopping along both the driving and parked cars' rooftops.)
(Then two narrower screens appear to above and beneath of the rooftop screen, showing the repeating line of turtles in turquoise's and white's masked faces above and the line of turtles in black's and pink's masked faces beneath, moving to the opposite direction.)
"I LOVE BEING' A..."
(Shot moves upwards again, to the roof level, where two silhouettes of two turtles are either jumping or pole-vaulting along the rooftops.)
"I LOVE BEING' A TURTLE!"
(Three turtles (Raphael in the left, Leonardo in the middle and Domenico in the right) are seen running towards the camera along the streets. Then Artemisia and Michelangelo jumps out of the open manholes, landing on their feet to the street and join the run next to Raph and Dom. Then they're joined by Marietta and Donatello, who land down from the rooftops to Leo's both sides. All seven then run towards the camera that moves between of Leo's legs.)
"TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES!"
(The camera then moves up towards the building with the full moon glowing behind of it, showing Lorenzo jumping off the building and towards the camera, spinning the chain wildly above his head before throwing it away and then swings by it over the camera in Spiderman-style.)
"TURTLES COUNT IT OFF:"
(A small square screen then appears from the left, showing Leonardo's shadowy yet calm-looking face. Another appears next to it from above, showing Donatello's shadowy yet determined-looking face.)
"ONE! TWO!"
(Third appears from beneath, showing Michelangelo's shadowy goofy-like face. Then the fourth appears from the right, showing Raphael's shadowy yet fierce-looking face with the gritted teeth.)
"THREE! FOUR!"
(A fifth square then screen then appears from the left, showing Marietta's shadowy yet calm-looking face. sixth then appears next to it from above, showing Domenico's shadowy yet deeply frowning face.)
"FIVE! SIX!"
(Seventh appears from beneath, showing Lorenzo's shadowy wildly hilarious-looking face. Then final eights appears from the right, showing Artemisia's shadowy yet determined-looking face with the smile.)
"SEVEN! EIGHT!"
(TURTLES!)
(All eight turtles are seen jumping down from the tall blue tower with the red Japanese palace style on top of it, which towers over all the other buildings of the town. With the weapons in hands, the turtles spin in a circle (First Leonardo, then Marietta, then Raphael, then Lorenzo, then Donatello, then Domenico, then Michelangelo and finally Artemisia) as they fall towards the camera)
"THERE'S NO ONE BETTER"
(TURTLES!)
(In the ledge of the same tower, that is above of the Foot symbol in middle of the bright light blue circle, the Shredder is seen staring down after them, as his black cape floats in the blow of the wind and the lightning flashes in the sky behind him. The camera moves closer of his helmet-covering face, before the Shredder turns towards the camera and raises his left arm with the gauntlet armed with two sharp claws.)
"WATCH OUT FOR THE SHREDDER"
(TURTLES!)
(The turtles are then seen standing in middle of the rooftop. With the weapons in hands, they briefly demonstrate their weapons-skills before taking their individual fighting poses: Donatello is seen standing in the middle, pointing his staff's end at the camera, while Raphael and Lorenzo are standing in his right, Marietta and Michelangelo are standing in his left and Domenico, Artemisia and Leonardo are standing behind of them.)
"THEY'RE LIKE NO OTHERS!"
(TURTLES!)
(The turtles are seen riding or skating on the various human equipment along the underground tunnel: Donnie is in the lead, wheeling with his purple-gray foldaway bike as he rode past the camera. Artemisia followed him afterwards on her own turquoise tuned dirt-bike, waving at the camera. She was followed by Leonardo on foldaway kick scooter with the blue board, hopping over the handlebar with his hands. He was then followed by Domenico on the white-tuned road bicycle, who made the high backward flip over the camera. After them, Raphael and Artemisia were roller skating along the wall of the tunnel with their red roller blades and pink roller-skates. Lorenzo then skated after them with his oversized green and black skateboard pair of rocket boosters and he was followed by Michelangelo, who skated along the tunnel's wall with his orange skateboard, going higher and higher along the wall before he jumped off it, landing in front of the camera with the smirk before skating away.)
"THOSE TEENAGE SIBLINGS!"
(First Donatello, then Domenico, then Leonardo, then Marietta, then Raphael, then Lorenzo, then Michelangelo, and finally Artemisia landed onto the rooftop with weapons in hands.)
"ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR!"
"FIVE! SIX! SEVEN! EIGHT!"
(Either spinning or waving their weapons, the turtles then charged forward towards the camera, with Leonardo taking the lead and slashing his swords forward.)
"TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES"
Then the logo of "TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES" appears, with the silhouetted figures of the eight turtles with the glowing eyes behind of it.
"TURTLES! TURTLES!"
= TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES 2003 =
= THE UNCONVINCING TURTLE TITAN. PART 1=
It has been four weeks after the Shredder's defeat.
Tonight was another peaceful night and the New York City was mostly resting, while the the moon shined brightly over the city.
In the street level, the manhole cover was lifted up from the place and pushed aside, allowing Leonardo to jump out, followed by Raphael, Domenico (with the fully recovered arm) and Marietta (who was carrying a new or repaired Naginata in her shell). Donnie then pressed his hands to the edge of the manhole to pull himself up before he jumped off. Louie (who had a new Butterfly swords in his X-shaped scabbards tied over his chest and a new Manriki-gusaris hanging from his belt) then swung himself up and flew in upside down pose out of the manhole before landing in an arc on his feet on the street. The turtle in black's right arm, which still wasn't fully recovered from the damage the Shredder inflicted on it, was put in the arm cast and it was hanging from the sling over his shoulder.
"Easy, Louie!" Arcee, who climbed out of the manhole after the turtle in black. "Remember that your arm is still recovering. Don't stress it too much!"
Mikey, whose ankle had been recovered, climbed out last. The turtle in orange put the manhole's cover back to its place before he followed his brothers and sisters.
The turtles individually jumped, flipped, somersaulted or cartwheeled over the parked car before they hid within the shadows.
"Remember, guys, the purpose of tonight's training exercise is to master the way of invisibility." Leo reminded his siblings quietly. The others nodded before Leo led them forward and down the dark and empty sidewalk.
Leo first dived behind of the garbage bin leaning against the wall of the convenience store while the others kept moving forward. Donnie ran behind of the parked car, while Louie ran along its hood and roof, before he leaped up and grabbed with his good hand from the nearby lamppost's trunk, wrapping his legs around it and remained hanging in there for a moment. Donnie then hopped over the car and then ran behind of the shadowy corner, pressing himself against the wall and staying there for a moment, until he kept going.
Mary then stopped and turned around towards Arcee, before the turtle in turquoise linked her hands together, allowing Arcee to hop onto it and jump upwards while Mary boosted her little sister upwards. Arcee then landed onto and ran along the edge of the convenience store's turquoise sharp-angled rooftop before she hopped onto the red cote above of the neighboring building's doorway, where Mikey ran into and hid into the shadowy corner for a moment.
Marietta then pulled out her Naginata and pole-vaulted herself upwards towards the lamppost from the border of the lamp's red spotlight hitting on the street, grabbing from it before turtle in turquoise swung herself up and landed in the crouched-down pose onto it, while Domenico circled around the lamppost light and hid himself against the newsstand.
Raph then hid himself in the lamppost darker side, where the light silhouetted his turtle-like form and merged him with the lamppost's silhouetted metallic trunk, until Leo ran past him and hopped onto the newsstand's rooftop, followed by Louie, who jumped off the lamppost and landed on his feet to the roof along with his brother.
Leo and Louie then hopped down from the newsstand while Arcee herself descended down from the cote and Mary leaped down from the lamppost, landing again in the crouched-down pose on the street. As the turtles in blue, black, pink and turquoise ran down the street, Donnie, Mikey, Raph and Dom moved out of their hiding spots and followed their brothers and sisters.
"It's been already four weeks." Mikey muttered out loud, as the turtles stopped running.
"What about it, Mikey?" Arcee asked, curious.
"Well, Nothing, I guess. Except..." Mikey started. "Have you guys noticed how much safer the streets have been for the last four weeks since we put the smackdown on that Shredder dude? Looks like we really accomplished something for the greater good, don't you think?" Mikey added, putting his hands on his hips and pushing his chest out, taking some sort of heroic pose with the proud smile on his face.
The others stared at him for a moment, before they all burst into a hilarious laughter, even the most serious ones.
"Greater good? Puh-lease!" Leo laughed.
"That was the good one, Mikey." Marietta laughed as if what Mikey just said was some sort of hilarious joke.
"Oh, boy! You got that "You wanna know what I'm gonna become when I'm big" attitude again?" Dom questioned with the teasing smile. "I thought you already outgrew from that."
"Yeah! Are you gonna run for NYPD office now?" Donnie asked jokingly.
"Or maybe even your own STVD office?" Louie joked.
"STVD? What the shell does that even mean, Louie?" Arcee questioned, turning to her brother for an explanation.
"It means that Mikey wants to run his own 'Sewer Turtle Vigilante Department', sis." Louie explained.
"There ain't no even such of thing!" Arcee said between of uncontrollable giggling.
"That's the point, sis! 'Cause that was Mikey's idea!" Louie laughed.
All seven turtles laughed heartily at Louie's joke in front of Mikey's face, while the turtle in orange frowned at his siblings, unamused by their laughter.
"Get over yourself already, baby bro." Raph said teasingly.
"Fine. Make fun of me. But I still think we could be doing a whole lot more to help people." Mikey said unamusedly as the others kept laughing.
However, Arcee stopped laughing when the turtle in pink caught the distant sound of the sirens approaching.
"Guys! Cut the comedy! Authorities approaching from six O'clock!" the turtle in pink warned, getting others to stop laughing.
The turtles then dived to the alleyway and hid behind of the dumpster bin as the caravan of police cars, ambulances and the fire department trucks dashed with hurry right past them. Once they were gone, the turtles emerged from behind of the bin and peeked out from the alleyway to the direction where the cars had gone.
"What was that all about?" Louie asked.
"Ain't that obvious, Louie?" Donnie questioned. "Police cars, ambulances and fire department trucks heading together to the same destination means only one thing."
"That there is an big emergency somewhere." Mary finished, before the turtle in pink turned to Leo. "So what are we going to do, Leo?"
"Well, I think we should let the authorities to take care of..." Dom was about to suggest, until Raph suddenly spoke over his words and refused to allow Dom to continue or finish his sentence, much to the turtle in white's chagrin.
"And I think we should at least check out the situation just to be sure! What do you think, fearless leader?" Raph said, turning to Leo for his older brother's opinion for their next course of action.
Dom tried to immediately protest against of them interfering again with the business that do not belong to them, but the turtle in white was immediately silenced by both Raph and Louie, who slapped their hands over their nagging brother's mouth to prevent him from even beginning his sentence.
"I agree with Raph, Leo." Arcee said. "I think we should at least take a look at the situation to see how serious it is."
Leo paid a look at his little sister, who was giving him almost pleading puppy-dog-eyes look, before the turtle in blue began to think of both hers and Raph's joint suggestions. And after a moment, Leo turned back to them with the decision made.
"Alright! We'll follow those cars and trucks to the scene of emergency to find out what kind of situation is there, but for now we are still stick to the shadows." Leo declared, much to Raph's and Arcee's delight to the point where the two gave the high-three with each other, though Dom could only watch in dismay.
"Then, UP TO THE ROOFS, TROOPS!" Louie declared and let out the laughter as he took the head-start by hopping onto the fire escape's ladders and started climbing them up, heading towards the roof.
"HEY! LOUIE! WAIT UP!" Arcee called after her brother as she started to climb after him. "Remember! You're not supposed to stress your arm too much or it will never heal!"
"STOP NURTURING ME ALL OF TIME, SIS!" Louie called down to her.
"No can do, bro, or I am not the doctor in this family!" Arcee shot back.
One by one, Donnie, Raph, Mary, Mikey and Leo went after the turtles in black and pink, though Dom stayed behind for a moment, staring after his family as they climbed up the fire escape to the rooftop. The turtle in white waved his arms up and sighed in frustration.
"Oh, make the turtle soup out of me!" Dom groaned. "What is it with all of them for always having to push their noses into the business that doesn't include us?! And why I myself never learn the fact that no matter how much I try, they'll never listen the turtle with the white bandana? NEVER!" he muttered in annoyance as he followed his brothers and sisters.
###
A little later, following the police cars, ambulances and fire trucks along the rooftops, the turtles arrived to the rooftop of the building that was in the opposite side of the scene of emergency, where they realized the escalation of the situation. The opposite building was on fire, with the topper floors in flames and covered by the smoke. The fire department were trying to put out the flames while escorting the building's residents out from the building's lower floors. Several of them, the ones wearing the gas masks on their faces, were carrying on the stretchers several in the fire injured residents out of the buildings and took them into the ambulances. During of all of this, the police officers had the area secured and kept the civilians away from bothering the fire department's work or putting themselves into danger.
The turtles watched the scene with the worried looks on their faces, until Arcee spotted something in one of the topper floor's window.
"Hey! Out there! In the topper floor's window!" the turtle in pink shouted in alarm and dread, pointing at the said window with her finger.
The turtles saw that there was the little girl with the red hair and pigtails. She was trapped in the kitchen window, waving her hands frantically, desperately crying for help and coughing from the amount of smoke. In thew street level, the firemen held back the couple, presumably the trapped girl's parents, who were desperately trying to get back into the building to rescue their daughter.
"Poor little one." Mary said with pity.
"What are we still standing here?! We gotta help that kid!" Mikey shouted and was about to leap off the building and into the rescue, but Leo and Dom grabbed him by his arms and held him back.
"Hang on, Mikey! You're not going anywhere with this many people around!" Dom said sternly. "The fire department has already got this covered!"
"And besides, we'd get spotted." Leo pointed out.
"As much as I hate to just sit still and do nothing at the times like this, I agree with Leo and Dom, Mikey." Raph said softly, not hiding his pity for the poor trapped girl.
"What?! You gotta be kidding me! Are we just gonna stand by and watch that girl to die?!" Mikey exclaimed in disbelief that his brothers and sisters would ignore the innocent life in danger just because they needed to evade the risk of being spotted by the humans.
As this was going on, Donnie, Mary, Arcee and Louie looked up in the sky when they spotted something.
"But we could...!" Mikey argued.
"Don't worry, Mikey. It's already covered." Donnie assured with the smile.
"Yeah. The girl doesn't need our help. She'll be fine." Mary assured as well.
"But what if the fire department won't get to her in time?!" Mikey argued frantically.
"Then he will definitely!" Louie said, pointing up at the sky.
"Who?" Mikey asked, confused.
"Look up there and see yourself, bro." Arcee said, gently grabbing from Mikey's lower jaw with her left hand and from the back of his head with her right hand, before the turtle in pink started to gently turn Mikey's head to the right and up towards the sky.
They all saw the muscular and broad-shouldered superhero-like figure, who was dressed in all white suit, which had the blue-colored falcon-like symbol in the chest, while wearing the white mask over his face. He had a long blue cape, which was waving gracefully in the night breeze, and which had another similar but silver-colored falcon-like symbol on the backside. The superhero-like figure 'literally' floated in the air and standing posingly against the full moon, observing at the fiery scene down below.
"Wow!" Mikey gasped with awe.
The superhero-like figure then flew down towards the burning building like the diving falcon and turned towards the window where the girl was.
"I can't believe it! It's really him!" Mikey said as the superhero picked the girl up from the window. "It's Silver Sentry!"
Silver Sentry then flew off from the window with the girl in his arms before the window suddenly exploded, probably from the gas leak that had caught fire.
"Silver- who, again?" Dom questioned, confused.
"Silver Sentry. The guy who protects the innocent people while capturing the criminals, bad guys and super villains." Mikey listed while following the Silver Sentry's going.
"Wow. You really seem to like this guy, don't ya, Mikey." Arcee said with the amused chuckle.
"You kidding, sis?! That's my idol! The first superhero who ever appears in the flesh! In the action! In the real life outside of the comics! The King of all the Superheroes!" Mikey squealed with the high-pitched voice like some sort of over-excited fan girl.
Turning back to the scene down at the street level, the turtles saw Silver Sentry slowly floating down till his feet hit the street. Then he crouched down and set the little girl safely to the ground. The little girl thanked the man for saving her before she turned around and ran to her parents, who ran to their daughter and embraced her with great relief that she was safe and sound. Silver Sentry and the couple of firemen, with the older one of the two, with the friendly mutton chops, being presumably the fire chief, looked at the reunited family with the smile on their lips. However, all of their attentions, including the turtles', flew back to the burning building as the gas explosions started to get even worse. The rooftop collapsed into the building and the burning debris started to fall or flew all around.
"The building is about to collapse!" the fire chief gasped.
"Stand back, chief! I got this." Silver Sentry told to the fire chief.
Silver Sentry then rose up again and hovered at the same level of the building's burning floor. Then he took the deep breath before he blew a powerful gust of wind into the fire. The gust of wind flew through the building's burning floor's rooms and blew away the flames, extinguishing the fire.
Once the fire was out, the firemen, police officers, paramedics and all the civilians cheered at the Silver Sentry, waving their hands up in the air. Silver Sentry looked down at them, smiling pridefully, before the superhero flew off into the sky, passing the turtles' hiding spot while doing so.
"Well, I can get the picture of your point, Mikey." Arcee commented. "That was pretty cool."
"See? Now that's what I'm talking about. There's a guy who doesn't have to stick to the shadows. And look what he's able to do." Mikey said, as Leo, followed by Mary, Dom, Donnie and Raph started to walk away from the scene now that the emergency was dealt with.
"Yeah, Mikey, He's definitely in his element." Louie commented as he turned around to follow the others.
"Just like we are in ours." Arcee added as she too started to follow her siblings.
Mikey, however, remained behind for a moment, thinking something in his head. The turtle in orange then snapped his fingers as if he got some brilliant idea and then turned to his leaving brothers and sisters to share his mind.
"Hey, that's it! We should become superheroes too!" the turtle in orange suggested.
All seven turtles turned back to their youngest brother in shock and disbelief of what they just heard.
"EXSQUEEZE ME?!" Donnie exclaimed.
"SAY WHAT?!" Dom exclaimed as well.
"You're kidding us, right?" Arcee asked hopefully.
"Yeah, yeah!" Mikey said, until he realized what Arcee actually meant. "I meant, "No, no!" I ain't kidding, sis. Think about how cool that would be! Going out on nightly patrols. Thwarting crimes. Helping the helpless. Rescuing the... uh... rescueless."
"Oh, make the turtle soup out of me." Dom groaned.
"Oh, boy! Mikey's has gone lost into his own dream worlds again!" Raph said sarcastically.
"I think you've got your mask on too tight, Mikey." Arcee said, tapping her head with her finger. "I've kept telling you not to tie it up too tight or the oxygen won't make it to your brain... and that's not good for the brains."
Mary then stepped forward. "Little brother." the turtle in turquoise said with the lecturing big sister attitude. "In case you haven't noticed yet, that's exactly what we always do when we go on surface trips at night. Besides, we do not need to be any kind of heroes because we're ninjas."
"And besides, We kinda are the heroes already?" Louie then said. "Remember, bro? We did save April's life from Stockman-guy and his Mousers and thwarted their reign of terror for good. We rescued Casey from the Purple Dragons clutches, twice. We defeated Nanobot. We saved the civilization from the Sword of Tengu's rogue blast waves. We rescued me and Raph - well, you guys did it, not us - from the Foot-Tech Ninjas, and we rescued Casey from drowning. We rescued the homeless people from the Garbageman and we defeated the Foot and the Shredder. We did all of that, and without any special superpowers. Ain't that enough to you?"
The seven turtles then kept walking towards the other side of the roof. At the edge, the turtles started to one-by-one jump off the edge, landing onto the railing of the fire escape below them, before they then jumped to the street level below. Donnie took the lead, followed by Mary, then Dom, then Raph and then Louie.
"Don't you get it? We'd have secret identities to protect ourselves. We could work out in the open without fear of getting exposed in the public!" Mikey argued, as he watched his brothers and sister's going, with Leo and Mary being the last ones to jump onto the railing of the fire escape, until both the turtles in blue and pink turned back to their youngest brother.
"Not to be rude, but forget it, Mikey." Arcee said sympathetically. "That would never work with us anyway." the turtle in pink added before she jumped to the street level, after her brothers and sister.
"Arcee's right, Mikey. Besides, you've been reading way too many comic books again." the turtle in blue said before he jumped down after his siblings.
Disheartened by his siblings' comments about his idea, Mikey lowered his head sadly down, before the turtle in orange followed his family down.
###
Next day in the lair's Dōjō, Splinter was holding another training session while standing in middle of the large orange mat. Leo, Raph, Donnie and Mikey were sitting on the edges of the mat while Mary, Louie, Dom and Arcee were sitting on the corners. All turtles had their shells turned to Splinter as he began his lesson.
"The two greatest weapons at the ninjas' disposal are placement and surprise. Tonight we perfect a move that utilizes both." Splinter explained, before the old rat master turned to his eldest son. "Leonardo! Invisible Flying Dragon!"
Leo stood up as Splinter started spinning his staff and charged at him. The old rat master then swung his staff at him until Leo, under the cover of the Lair's shadows, jumped unseen over his father, performing the snap-kick with his left foot and then flipping sideways before he landed to the other side of the mat. Leo then turned to face his father and bowed to him.
"Excellent. Lorenzo!" Splinter called, before he turned to the corner where Louie was sitting and swung his tail at him, only for the turtle in black to go on his shell on the mat to dodge Splinter's tail as it flew over his face. Louie then jumped into crouched-down pose and backward flipped over his father to the opposite corner of the mat. Louie then turned to his master and bowed to him.
"Good. Raphael!" Splinter called, before he turned to the edge where Raphael stood and swung his staff at the turtle in red to whack him. Raph, however, dodged Splinter's staff just in time by jumping into the air and flipping over his father in the cross-pose, until he landed on his feet to the other side of the mat, then turning to Splinter and bowed to him.
"Very good. Domenico!" Splinter called and jumped towards the turtle in white, flipping around couple times in the air before he swung his staff at his son's feet to sweep them from under, but Dom jumped over it and flew over his father with the sideways barrel roll motion to the other side of the mat. Upon landing on his feet, Dom turned around and bowed to his father.
"Well done. Marietta! Artemisia!" Splinter called both of his daughters, who were standing on opposite corners of the same side of the mat, as he tossed his staff into the air, making it spinning with sideways motion while flying in the air like the boomerang. First it flew towards Mary, who jumped up in the air to dodge it at the same time as Arcee jumped up from her own turtles in turquoise and pink met in the air above the center of the mat, with Mary flying over Arcee from the left and Arcee flying below Mary from the right. They then both flipped over gracefully without hitting or crashing into each other and then flew away from each other just as Splinter's staff came flying towards them and flew harmlessly through the growing gap between the sisters. Both Mary and Arcee then landed to the opposite corners of the other side of the mat with their legs bent, before they stood up, turned to Splinter and bowed to him.
"Excellent. Donatello!" Splinter called as he raised his hand in the air and snatched his staff from the air. Donnie ran towards his father and flipped over the old rat master as Splinter turned to him to whack him with his staff, landing to the other side of the mat. The brainy turtle then turned around and bowed to his father.
"Good. Michelangelo!" Splinter called his youngest son.
However, Mikey didn't move from his spot. It also seemed that the turtle in orange wasn't paying any attention into the training session. Instead, he was doing something else, as he was holding in his left hand the sketchbook and in his right hand the pen, drawing something on the pages of the book.
"Michelangelo!" Splinter called sternly as he walked behind of him.
And when Mikey didn't answer again, Splinter resorted to whack him in the left shoulder with his staff.
"YOW!" Mikey yelped.
"What are you doing?" Splinter questioned as the turtle in orange got up, briefly rubbing his left shoulder with his hand.
"Uh... nothing, Sensei." Mikey said sheepishly, hiding the book behind of his shell.
"Oh, yeah? Let me see!" Raph said, as he suddenly snatched the book from Mikey's hand.
"Hey! Give it back!" Mikey complained as he turned to Raph.
"Ha, ha, ha, haa!" Raph laughed as he raised the book above him and began tossing it from one hand to another, keeping the book away from Mikey's reach.
"Keep away!" Donnie and Louie kidded as the two joined making fun of Mikey.
"Keep it away!" Raph kidded as he tossed the book to Donnie, who caught it from the air.
"No funny! Give it back!" Mikey complained as he turned to Donnie to get his book back.
"Keep away!" Louie kidded.
"Keep it away!" Donnie kidded, tossing the book from behind of his shell to Louie.
"Guys! Come on! Give it back!" Mikey complained, turning to Louie.
Louie kicked the book up with his left knee and then kicked it up again with his right knee as if it was the football, and then repeated this for the couple times while keeping the book out of Mikey's hands.
Keep away!" Arcee kidded behind of Mikey's shell.
"Keep it away!" Louie kidded after kicking the book up with his right knee, before he flipped over and kicked with his left foot the book back to turtle in pink.
"Come on, sis! Give it back!" Mikey pleaded, turning to Arcee, who held the book balanced on the top of her Yumi-bow, which she held high up and out of Mikey's reach.
"Sure, little brother. Just tell us what you got in there." Arcee said teasingly.
"NO WAY!" Mikey refused and jumped up to reach to his book from the top of his sister's bow.
"Then no deal!" Arcee teased, tilting her bow backwards, causing the book to fall off and land into Arcee's right hand in behind of her shell, before the turtle in pink spun around to her left and tossed the book to Raph. "Keep it away!"
Raph snatched the book and then tossed it back to Donnie. As the book flew through the air again, Mikey made another desperate attempt to reach for his book by jumping to it with his right hand stretched out, until Leo ran over and caught the book before Mikey could.
Leo then opened the book to see what Mikey got in it.
"Hey, check this out!" the turtle in blue asked the others, as all six turtles gathered around him, Donnie, Dom and Arcee on his right side and Raph, Louie and Mary on his left side.
They all saw that Mikey had been drawing the picture of all eight Mutant Ninja Turtles in the superhero costumes: with the superhero masks, capes and outfits with the circles on the chests, and each of them had the first letter of their names in the center, while they were all posing in their individual fighting stances, though the one picturing Mikey was standing cockily in the middle of the others as if he was the ring leader.
"What is that?" Raph inquired. "A Ninjustice League?"
"Hah! Whadda ya know! Looks like the assembled Shellvengers." Marietta joked.
"The family of In-shell-dibles, if you ask from me." Dom joked.(1)
"More likely the Shelltastic Eight." Donnie chuckled.
"Nah! I'd rather call them the Reptilians of the Newyorxy." Louie chuckled.(2)
"The Friendly Neighborhood Turtlemen and Turtlegirls." Arcee sniggered.(3)
"The Legion of... Sewer Heroes." Leo laughed.
All seven of them bursted into the fit of laughter at their jokes.
"WELL, HARDY-HAR!" Mikey said sarcastically out loud, getting his siblings stop laughing. "Whatta Eight Wonder of the World that is, that even our levelheaded leader gets a funny in despite being dead serious down to the core. What does Mr. Leonardo, who strictly puts his whole life into training, have to say about that?!"
Leo quickly assumed his serious attitude. "Well, in the name of all seriousness and the reasoning in the whole world, you're not really serious about this superhero kick, are you?" he questioned, holding Mikey's drawing up for him to see it.
"Why not?!" Mikey asked as he snatched his book back from Leo. "At least the superheroes never have to hold back because they're scared someone's gonna see them. And wouldn't it be nice to get a little credit for the good we do?"
"Not in the world where the people up there would never accept us because of what we are: Turtles! Mutants! Monsters! Freaks! Abominations! Do I have to keep going?!" Dom said out loud, causing Mikey to take aback by what he had just said, making the turtle in orange to look at his brother with the hurt look in his eyes.(4)
Even Arcee's own eyes went wide at what Dom had just said and she looked up at her brother with utter disbelief, which soon turned into a disgusted glare. The turtle in pink knew all too well that out of all of them, Mikey hated being called a monster, freak and abomination the most.(4)
"Sp try to put that fact into your thigh skull already!" Dom added, tapping his head with his finger.
"Domenico, enough!" Splinter said strictly, silencing his son before he could say something else what he might regret later. The old rat master then turned to his youngest son. "Michelangelo? Your intentions are noble, but you must never forget who you are. You are ninja! You operate in the shadows."he said with the gentler tone.
"But Sensei, can't we accomplish so much more out in the open?" Mikey asked.
"There are many paths, my son. You must choose the one that is true to yourself." Splinter advised, before she turned back to his other children. "This short break is now over. Let us return to our training."
Mikey looked down at his drawing, feeling conflicted between of his life as a ninja and his dream to become a superhero. Then the turtle in orange tucked his sketchbook under his arm and walked away from Dōjō and his family.
"Sorry, Sensei. I gotta get out and clear my head." he said, as he walked towards their elevator's doors as they opened for him. "But I'd rather do it elsewhere where I do not have to tolerate more mockery from some tongue-happy jerks!" Mikey added, still offended with his siblings for making fun of him for his superhero idea, before he entered into the elevator chamber and the doors closed behind of him.(5)
Arcee looked after her brother, feeling sorry for him and also feeling guilty for participating in making fun of him.
The turtle in pink then turned to his siblings with the frown on her face. "Guys, maybe we were too hard on him with this one. Especially you, Dom! You know how much Mikey hates being called a monster, freak and abomination. Why did you do that then?!"
"Because Mikey has to learn." Dom said in self-defense, folding his arms. "Mikey has to learn that we're turtles, ninjas, and that's what we'll always will be. Mikey will learn that either easier way or the harder way."
Arcee's frown deepened. "You know what, bro? Sometimes you disgust me really!"
"Artemisia?" Splinter then suddenly called, making Arcee to turn to her father.
"I want you to go with Michelangelo. Even though he needs to learn this by himself, I want you to keep an eye on him so that he won't get into any trouble while being up there." Splinter explained.
Despite her feeling sorry for Mikey and quilt for making fun of him, Arcee couldn't believe her ears. "You're appointing me to be Mikey's babysitter, Sensei?"
"Yes." Splinter confirmed. "You're the same age with Michelangelo, yet more matured and wiser but also the most gentle with him. Maybe you can use that to guide your brother to the right path, now that he needs it most of all."
However, Arcee still felt a bit reluctant. "But I already got some plans with Mary tonight at the surface after the training session is over, Sensei." she said. "Besides, I already babysat Mikey recently. Now it would be Donnie's turn. Why don't you send him?"
"Artemisia." Splinter said with the slowly raising voice, giving his youngest daughter a stern glare while tapping his staff against his left palm, threatening to give her the lecturing whack if she still resisted his direct order to look after her youngest brother.
Splinter usually did not needed to lecture Arcee with the manner like this, as the turtle in pink was always so loyal and obedient to him, but that didn't mean that she is so special that she would be spared from the lecturing whacks when it was necessary to put some discipline into his children's heads.
"WOW!" Arcee jumped upon recognizing this gesture." Whoa, whoa, whoa! Okay, okay, okay! I'll go! I'll go! I'll go! Better that than getting another bump on my head." the turtle in pink said as she turned around and went after Mikey towards the doors of the elevator.
"Hey, Arcee!" Raph called after her. "Wish Mikey luck in his one turtle Ninjustice League campaingn!" the turtle in red wished teasingly.
"And when you come back, I want to hear which member from the Reptilians of the Newyorxy he wants to be? The one saying all of time... "I. AM. MICHELANGEROOT." Louie said dramatically.(2)
"Or which one of the Shelltastic Eight he wants to be? The Turtle Torch? You know, the hotheaded guy in the flames?" Donnie teasingly asked.(6)
"Or just tell that shell-for-brains straight to forget all of that nonsense, to stop chasing his dreams, and to re-embrace his life as the proper mutant ninja turtle for me, will ya?" Dom called after her.
Arcee frowned and snorted in anger that the others were still making fun of Mikey behind his shell even though he wasn't present. But what Dom just said caused the turtle in pink to snap. Gritting her teeth in growing anger, Arcee took out her Tessens and tossed them towards her brothers like boomerangs, making them to spin with the sideways motion.
The blades of her Tessens sliced through of Donnie's, Dom's, Louie's and Raph's belts, loosening their pants and causing them to fall off their feet.
"HEY!/ARGH!/WHATTA!/WHY YOU!" all turtles in purple, white, black and red gasped in shock after seeing their pants down, before they hurriedly covered their private areas with their hands, blushing from embarrassment. All four humiliated turtles then turned to glare at the turtle in pink.
"Serves you right, guys!" Arcee called at them as her Tessens returned into her outstretched hands.
"And good luck in licking off your humiliations!" she wished sarcastically as the doors of the elevator opened to allow her to enter into the chamber. The doors then closed behind of the turtle in pink as she headed up to the garage.
###
When the chamber finally reached to the surface inside of the garage and the door lowered down to allow Arcee to exit, the turtle in pink stepped out into the garage, looking around for Mikey with her eyes, while the door of the chamber closed behind of her shell on its own and the whole chamber started to make its way back down.
"Mikey?" Arcee called softly.
"What? What do you want?" Mikey's voice said curtly.
Arcee turned to Mikey's voice and spotted her brother sitting cross-legged on the nearby blue box. Next to him was standing a lit lantern, which was giving Mikey some light while the turtle in orange was working on something with her sketchbook.
"Are you here to make fun of me and my ideas even more, Arcee, like you did back in the lair?" Mikey asked, not taking his eyes from his sketchbook.
Arcee approached her brother slowly. "No, Mikey. I'm not here to make fun of you." the turtle in pink said as she reached to the box. Arcee then hopped on top of the box and sat cross-legged next to her brother, but she kept her shell facing to him as she felt that Mikey wasn't in the mood to look at her right now.
The guilt for the obvious reason of that gnalled in her guts.
"First of, I'm here to apologize for being such of... 'mouth-happy jerk', as you put it so." Arcee said sincerely. "And secondly, Master Splinter sent me to look after you, to make sure that you'll be alright, whatever you're planning to do on the surface tonight."
"I do not need the babysitter, Arcee." Mikey said, still not looking at his sister. "You can just go back down there with the others and leave me be with my thoughts."
"No can do, Mikey, unless I want to get from Master Splinter's staff on my head." Arcee said. "But you really should consider what he told to you, Mikey. About the path that is right one for you. You know that all he thinks about is what is best for you, right?"
"I know." Mikey said, still not taking his eyes away from his book. "But I'm still going to go through this to figure out what's the right path for me. No matter what." he added with the seriousness firm determination.
Arcee fought against the temptation to roll her eyes at her brother's stubborn determination, knowing that this was going to lead to the learning his lesson through the harder way. However, out of curiosity, Arcee turned around and went on her knees behind of her brother's back and peeked over his right shoulder to see what he was doing.
"What are you doing by the way?" the turtle in pink asked.
"I'm making the list of what do I have to do to be a superhero? So far I've already figured out the first three." Mikey explained, before he pointed to the first step on the list with his pen. "Step one, every superhero needs a secret origin story. That's already covered."
"You mean that accident fifteen years ago where we got exposed into that mutagenic ooze and were transformed into what we are now?" Arcee questioned.
"Yep." Mikey answered, before he moved to the second one on the list. "Step two, every superhero needs to have the primary motivation to protect the innocent, defend the justice and fight against the crime. Already covered."
"Well, even if we don't have any official motivation to fight against injustice, crime and all the other evils of the world other than following the Way of Bushido and defending the justice through it." Arcee reminded.
"Exactly." Mikey said, before he moved to the third one. "Step three, every superhero needs the secret lair. Already covered."
"Because we already have the secret lair beneath the city. Our own home, remember?" Arcee reminded. "including our own personal garage, this abandoned and long forgotten warehouse, where no one suspects us keeping our cool vehicles." the turtle in pink said, as she turned to the other side of the garage, where was standing the assortment of their current means of transport: The Battle Shell, Raph's and Louie's Shell Cycles and the Sewer Slider.
"Yeah, I was just getting into that." Mikey said, before he turned back to his sketchbook. "Step four, every superhero needs a cool mode of transport. And that's what I need! The Turtle Mobile!" Mikey said as he turned to look at their vehicles.
However, the turtle in orange's smile suddenly dropped off from his face when he realized something while staring thoughtfully at each vehicle.
"No, too limited. Donnie has forbidden the unnecessary use of the Battle Shell and the Sewer Slider, and Raph and Louie would never allow me to borrow their bikes. Of course, I could ask Donnie to make my own turtle mobile with a design and operation based on my style, just like the Shell Cycles are based on the styles of their owners. But no. I'm not in the mood of more mockery even from Donnie right now." Mikey lamented, turning around and resting his head on his right palm.
Arcee leaned a bit forward and looked at Mikey with sympathy, before the turtle in pink pulled back and started thinking hard the best way to both cheer her brother up and at the same time to reminder him, or at least indirectly guide him to his rightful path. When she eventually came up with an idea, the turtle in pink snapped her fingers while smiling slyly at her brother.
Arcee then placed her hand over Mikey's shoulder to get his attention.
"I don't know if this would help since I'm not a big superhero fan like you, Mikey, but I'm sure that the superheroes have more than one way to go around without requiring any kind of means of transport." she said softly.
"Like flying like Superman... or Silver Sentry." Mikey guessed.
"Not quite. That's beyond of our abilities." Arcee said. "Unless you have something to fly with, like Donnie's Hang glider."
Mikey snorted. "But Donnie would never allow me to borrow one!"
"That was not my point, Mikey." Arcee interrupted, before she began to think again the best way to explain her point to Mikey. "My point is... What did Spidey use to move quickly from place to place for example?"
"It's Spiderman. And he used the webs he was capable to produce from his wrists." Mikey answered.
"Yep! And what about Bats when he was on the foot?" Arcee asked again.
"Batman. And he used his cape to fly through the long distances... though sometimes he did use the grappling hook gun too." Mikey answered.
"Exactly, Mikey! The grappling hooks! And the ninjas do use the grappling hooks to climb along the walls, swing on them in the air and whatsoever." Arcee said, thinking that this would at least somehow help to remind Mikey of his path, that was the only true path for him as a ninja.
"Hey! That's an idea, Arcee! The grappling hooks! Some superheroes use those things, so why not me too?! Thanks, sis!" Mikey said, thinking that Arcee was actually supporting his whole superhero idea by giving him some inspiring ideas.
Arcee, however, fought hard to resist the urge to drop her smile off her face in dismay upon seeing that her attempt to sway Mikey back to the path of the ninja had only given Mikey a new motivation to push forward on his own superhero campaign.
Mikey then noticed something out of the corner of his left eye, which was lying on the floor next to the box they were sittingh on. The turtle in orange then turned to look down to see what it was, and his smile widened even more when he realized that it was a pair of grappling hooks and a bundle of long rope.
"Well, hello! And speaking of which!" Mikey said gleefully as he picked up the grappling hooks and the rope. "These babies will do nicely."
Mikey then tucked both his sketchbook, the grappling hooks and the rope into his belt and then hopped off the box. Mikey then took the superhero-like pose, hands on his hips, chest out and the proud toothy grin on his face, before he lifted his right hand up and pointed at the door of the garage with his finger.
"Alright, here we go! WATCH OUT, BAD GUYS! Here comes the newest superhero of the town! The Green Horror of the Underworld! The Protector of the Innocence and Justice! The Ultimate... MICHELANGELO!" Mikey shouted dramatically. "WOHOO! GO, MIKEY! GO, MIKEY! GO! GO! GO, MIKEY!" he cheered childishly as he headed outside.
Arcee stayed for a moment behind, still sitting on the box while watching and listening Mikey's dramatic speech before following his going outside of the garage. And once Mikey was gone, the turtle in pink facepalmed herself before letting her hand to slid down along her face. Then the turtle in pink leaned her head back and let out the sigh.
"Ugh! This is going to be a long night." she sighed, shaking her head slightly at her little brother, before the turtle in pink hopped off the box went to follow Mikey. "Oh, well. Nobody said this babysitting wouldn't get any wilder...or weirder one ever." she added as she slipped out.

TRIVIA
1) = The name Dom jokingly gives to Mikey's drawing, 'In-shell-dibles', is the reference to the Disney's Pixar movie Incredibles, though I spelled it in the same way how Bunga from the Lion Guard says his second catchphrase: "Un-Bunga-Lievable! The only error here is that the said movie was released a year later in the real world.
2) = The name Louie jokingly gives to Mikey's drawing, 'Reptilians of the Newyorxy.', is the reference to the Guardians of the Galaxy. And the line: "I. AM. MICHELANGEROOT!" is based on Groot's line "I am Groot."
3) = The name Arcee jokingly gives to Mikey's drawing, 'The Friendly Neighborhood Turtlemen and Turtlegirls', is the reference to the line from the first Spiderman live-action movie "I'm your friendly neighborhood Spiderman."
4) = This is based on Mikey's hurted reaction to the NYPD police officers calling the turtles as monsters in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows film.
5) = Mikey calling his brothers and sisters as 'Tongue-happy' jerks is based on the saying of some gunman being 'Trigger-happy".
6) = The reason why I made Donnie to teasingly ask if Mikey wants to be Human Torch from the Fantastic Four is that I've seen at least couple TMNTXFantastic Four crossover artworks, where Mikey has been given the role of the Human Torch.
