Miraculous Pokémon: Scarlet & Violet Season 1

Many of us know the story of Miraculous, but what if their story was different. In the Pokémon world, Arceus infused the power of his plates to 19 Pokémon to create the Miraculous, which grant humans the powers of Pokémon. When one of these Miraculous falls into evil hands, it's up to Ladybug and Cat Noir to save the region of Paldea.

3. Episode 2

Miraculous Pokémon: Scarlet/Violet

Season 1 Episode 2: Stoneheart (Origins Part 2)

On the television, Reporter Nadja Chamack updates Paldea on the mysterious stone creatures that are dispersed around the region. Nadja, standing to the side of a picture of one of Stoneheart's minions, tablet in hand reports "The stone beings are scattered all over Paldea, and for the time being, they are showing no signs of movement." She says as a variety of pictures is shown "Police have cordoned off the area."

The screen changes to Mayor André Bourgeois alongside Officer Roger as he announces "We won't stop until we find a way to get these people back to their normal selves, but for now, we're not making much headway."

The camera flips backs to Nadja standing next to a photo of Ladybug and Cat Noir as she continues and says "Paldea is relying on our new guardian angels, Ladybug and Cat Noir, to save us all. Our lives depend on them."

At Marinette's home, Marinette is standing next to her father in the kitchen and watching the TV while he washes dishes. Tom turns around and puts arm on Marinette's shoulder and assures her "Listen, I know how upsetting and scary this is, but don't worry, sweetie; we've got two superheroes looking out for Paldea, and the best way of helping them is to show them that we're not scared, because we trust them." He raises a fist and scrunches face with confidence and faith.

Marinette looks down in shame and asks "But what if Ladybug fails?"

Tom, seeing his daughter's concern, says to her "Then I'd come and save you." And he grabs baguette as a sword, swings it slightly and says "Super Baker to the rescue!"

Marinette giggles and reaches up to give her father a peck on the cheek "Thanks, Super Dad!"
She runs up to her room and grabs her purse, pausing for a moment to look at her vanity drawer where she keeps her Miraculous. She opens the drawer and contemplates taking the Pokéball the Miraculous is in. Then, she places the case in her purse with certainty.

In Adrien's home, Nathalie is waiting for Adrien in the dining area. As the clock chimes once, Nathalie asks herself aloud, "Hmm, what's he doing?" She looks for Adrien in his room and calls for him, "Adrien?" but doesn't find him.

Near the staircase and entrance of the home, Nathalie and Placide I.T. (Bodyguard) stand side by side as Gabriel talks to then unpleased, "You didn't see him leave? If anything has happened to my son, you'll be held responsible!"

Through the streets of Mesagoza, Adrien is running to school and away from his father. While running, Plagg flies out and talks to Adrien. "You're such a strange kid. Who would wanna be at school when he can stay at home all day?"

While still running, Adrien responds "You don't get it, Plagg. I've had enough of being shut up at home by my dad. I want to meet people and make friends! Go to a normal school like everyone else! And even be a Pokémon trainer someday!"

Plagg dramatically sighs and says "Uhhh, I think I'm feeling weak…"

"You know what's strange?" Adrien says annoyed as he stops running to unhook his bag and grabs a wedge of Camembert. "The fact that all you eat is this disgusting, rotten-smelling Camembert cheese, and then I have to smell like it 24/7. That's strange." He gets disgusted with Plagg and his behavior.

Plagg replies "If you wanna be able to transform into a superhero, then stinky cheese is the deal, my friend!" After eating the cheese, Plagg flies back into Adrien's shirt pocket before he continues to school.

While walking into the academy, Alya and Marinette are having a discussion about Alya's new discussion form, "The Ladyblog".

"Ladyblog," Alya said as she hands Marinette her phone, "bringing you all the latest news about the coolest superhero, Ladybug! How awesome is that?!" She takes her phone back and continues to say, "Check out the number of views since I posted the video!"

Off to the side, Marinette asks "But why do you trust Ladybug so much? All these stone beings…"

Alya confidently responds "She's gonna handle 'em."

Marinette replies without confidence, "But what if she's not really cut out to be a superhero even though everyone thinks she is?"

"What are you talking about, girl?" Alya asks before she comes to a realization, "Oh, wait. I know what this is about." Marinette is flustered and scared of what Alya is about to say. "You're scared, but don't be! I've seen her with my own two eyes, girl! Ladybug is a true superheroine! She's going to protect us all! I believe in her." Alya says with true passion.

Hearing her friend's speech, Marinette looks down at her purse and gets filled with confidence. As she walks with Alya, she notices a group gathered around Ivan.

Alix asks Ivan, "So you really don't remember anything?"

Juleka continued with excitement in her voice, "You were totally going ballistic. It was so cool!"

"You were seriously out to crush me, dude!" Kim said.

Ivan looks up at sees Mylène who looks surprised and turns away. He tucks his head down and tells everyone, "Oh, I'm sorry… I wasn't myself…"

"Pff!" Chloé scoffed at Ivan "Once a monster, always a monster." Ivan becomes furious and marches away as Chloé continues to make fun of him. "Don't let the door hit you on the way out!" Hearing this made Alya angry.

The window opens in Hawk Moth's lair, as the light shines in, Hawk Moth says aloud "Yes… feel the burn of those words. Lose your temper, Ivan! Your akuma awaits you." He then taps on the cane that is holding the akuma.

Outside the school, Adrien runs up the steps to the front door, but Nathalie, exiting from the bodyguard's car, tries to stop him by yelling out "Adrien! Don't do this! Your father will be furious!"

In desperation, Adrien responds, "Tell him you got here too late. Please!" before running into the school while Nathalie stays outside and sighs.

Meanwhile, inside the school, Alya angrily confronts Chloé and says "How could you say that to Ivan? You're the real Stoneheart."

"Ugh, so I'm the one who broke Sabrina's dad's arm, am I? Just because your footage of those lame superheroes was shown on TV, doesn't mean you have to get so high and mighty." Chloé snarkily replies before she blows a bubble gum at her.

"You little…" Alya angrily says before she gets interrupted.

"Look out, she's angry!" Chloé says as she taunts Alya, "She's going to split her underwear and turn into a huge muscly monster!" Hearing this made Alya huff and walk off.

"Hey, Chloé!" Adrien said from across the room.

Excited to see him, Chloé exclaims "Adrikins! You came!" before running towards him to hug him.

Soon other students see Adrien and rush over toward him, shouting in recognition.

Just outside the school, Nathalie gets in the car and speaks to Placide I.T. (the bodyguard/driver), "I'll handle it." Then the car drives off.

In the locker room, Marinette sees Ivan sitting on the ground, looking down with his headphones on. So Marinette sits down next to him and tries to talk to him. "You know, you should tell Mylène how you feel."

Ivan tries to respond and deny the claim. "I… don't know what you're talking about."

"Come on, I saw the way you look at her." Marinette says with a smile as Ivan turns towards her before grunting to himself in shame. Seeing this, Marinette panics, "No! No negative emotions, Ivan." Ivan looks up angry and confused before Marinette corrects herself, "What I mean is, be positive. I'm sure Mylène has feelings for you too. Go talk to her."

Still feeling down, Ivan responds, "I'm no good with words anyway."

Marinette continues to offer suggestions, "But… who needs words? You could draw her a picture, send her flowers…"

Ivan interrupts with his idea, "I could… write her a song?"

Hearing this, Marinette smiles and says "That's a great idea! What girl wouldn't want a love song written especially for her? Go for it, Ivan, and, uh–, stay positive." Then Ivan gets up and runs off, excited.

In Hawk Moth's lair, Hawk Moth gets angry and says aloud, "Negative emotions… They're fading! Ughhhh…."

On their way to Miss Bustier's classroom, Adrien signing autographs for random fans while Chloé is holding onto his arm.

Unknown boy asked "Could I have your autograph, please?" and an unknown girl said "Adrien, can I have an autograph, Adrien, I'm a huge fan!" before Adrien and Chloé enters the classroom.

Chloé excitedly runs in and tells Adrien, "Wow. This is your seat, Adrikins. I saved it for you. Right in front of me!"

Adrien walks in and says "Thanks, Chloé." When he gets to his seat, he sees Nino and introduces himself by offering his hand for a handshake, "Uh… Hey! Adrien."

Instead of shaking his hand, Nino disgustedly asks, "You're friends with Chloé, then, huh?"

Adrien was confused then he looks over and sees Chloé and Sabrina putting gum on a seat. "Hey! What's that all about?"

Chloé answers in a smug voice, "The brats that sat here yesterday need a little attitude adjustment. I'm just commanding a bit of respect, that's all."

"You think that's really necessary?" Adrien asks as he tries to take the gum off the seat.

Chloé heads to her seat and explains (still in a smug voice), "Ah, you've got a lot to learn about school culture, Adrikins. Watch the master."

Just outside Miss Bustier's classroom, Marinette is walking up the stairs with Alya before asking her, "Alya, wouldn't you like to be a superhero and go out and fight monsters and villains?"

Alya responds, "Totally! I'm not scared of anyone! Why?"

"Oh! No reason…" Marinette said before she puts the wooden Pokéball in Alya's bag.

As Marinette and Alya enter the classroom, Marinette sees Adrien picking at the gum in her seat. In her anger, Marinette asks "Hey! What are you doing?"

"Oh, uh… I…" Adrien stammers to try to explain while Chloé and Sabrina laugh.

Marinette has a disappointing realization and says to him, "Okay. I get it. Good job, you three. Very funny."

Adrien gets up to try and explain "No, no, I was just trying to take this off!"

"Oh, really?" Marinette refuses to believe him and places a napkin down so she can sit while Chloé and Sabrina continue to laugh. Marinette is disgusted by the gum and says to Adrien, "You're friends with Chloé, right?"

"Why do people keep saying that? Adrien asked under his breathe. Marinette huffs at him and they both go to their seats.

As Adrien sits down at his seat with sorrow, Chloé says to him "Now do you see what I mean about respect?"

Marinette looks over at him and says aloud, "I know I've seen him somewhere before." Alya pulls out her cellphone and Marinette sees images of Gabriel and Adrien Agreste are realizes who he is. "Of course! He's the son of my fave fashion designer, Gabriel Agreste! His designs are beautiful and his signature Volcarona are unmatched by anyone."

Alya tells her friend, "Daddy's boy, teen supermodel, AND Chloé's buddy? Ha! Forget it."

Seeing Adrien upset, Nino asks "Why didn't you tell them it was Chloé's idea?"

Adrien responds, "I've known Chloé since I was a little kid. I know she's not perfect, but I can't throw her under the bus. She's like my only friend."

Hearing this, Nino offers hand to Adrien for handshake and says "I'm Nino, and it's time for you to make some new friends, dude." Adrien smiles and accepts.

Miss Bustier addresses the class, "Okay everyone, before we start, I would like to announce that, due to the events of yesterday, tonight you will all be emailed your evaluation quizzes and after tomorrow you will receive your new partner Pokémon." Everyone in the class is excited.

In the locker room, at door to girls' bathroom, Mylène is leaving the bathroom and rushing to get to class, "Oh no, I'm gonna be late." But on her way out the door, she gets surprised by Ivan. "Ahh! Ivan, you scared me."

"I made this for you." Ivan said as he starts playing loud music and sings in a loud, shrill voice, while reading the lyrics of his song. "Mylène, be serene, don't be so mean!"

Hearing this causes Mylène to runs away scared. Her reaction makes Ivan angry; he wads up his lyric sheet, throws his music-playing phone on the floor and steps on it, and sits down in disappointment.

In Hawk Moth's lair, the window opens again. Hawk Moth says aloud, "Yes. This is what I've been waiting for. You know the way, evil akuma. Track down your prey! Fly away and evilize him!" The akuma held in Hawk Moth's cane exits it and flies out the window.

Back in the locker room, Ivan is upset when the akuma flies in and enters into Ivan's wadded-up song lyrics. The light mask forms around Ivan's face as he hears Hawk Moth's voice, "This is your second chance, Stoneheart, and this time you have extra help, along with a MEGA power boost. No one will stop you from capturing the love of your life. Just remember, I'll need something in return."

Ivan gets akumatized into Stoneheart again, this time with more resemblance to Mega Tyranitar. This time he has more gaps in his armor than his original form, with four new triangular holes along the sides of his neck and one on his throat. The four holes on his chest are now larger with the top two containing red ovals. While the spikes along the back of his neck grow shorter, the ones on his head elongate to form prominent ridges along his brows. The center spike on his head becomes a long, upright horn. His chest plate expands, curving over his shoulders and along his back to form three long, irregular spikes on each side of his body. The scales on Stoneheart's belly have now become red instead of blue and seethe with energy, enabling it to emanate more power. It gains two sharp spikes on his knees, as well as more prominent leg joints. His tail lengthens, with the three spikes surrounding its tip growing upward and outward. He opens his eyes and all the other stone beings across Paldea start waking up. With each stone beings' awakening, as furious sandstorm emanates around them.

In the classroom, Miss Bustier is checking her attendance, "Agreste, Adrien?

Nino quietly says to Adrien, "You say 'present'."

Adrien jumps up with his hand raised and says, "Uh, present!" Hearing this made all the other students laugh. Adrien sits back down, and he and Nino do a fist-bump.

Miss Bustier continues her rollcall, "Bourgeois, Chloé?

"Present!" Chloé responds.

Miss Bustier then called out, "Bruel, Ivan?"

"Present!" Stoneheart says as he enters by breaking down the door. "Mylène?" Seeing Stoneheart causes chaos to erupt, and Adrien runs out of the room while everyone else screams. Ivan sees Mylène and grabs her.

As Mylène is being picked up, she tries to plead with Ivan, "Let go of me, Ivan!

"I'm not Ivan anymore." He replies, "I'm Stoneheart."

"Why are you doing this?" Mylène askes while scared.

Stoneheart answers, "So you and I can be together forever!

Chloé calls her father on her phone and tells him, "Daddy, the monster is back!"

"YOU!" Stoneheart said as he takes Chloé with him.

Chloé screams as she gets carried away. "Please, my hair!"

Stoneheart carries both girls as he breaks down a wall and jumps out of the school.

Mylène screams at him, "Put us down, Ivan!"

Seeing them walk away, Alya turns to Marinette and says, "Come on! Let's follow him!"

Tucked behind a desk, Marinette replies "Uh… Oh, no. You go. I'm finding myself a safe place to hide."

Trying to convince her friend, Alya says "Girl, you're gonna miss Ladybug in action!"

Marinette picks up Alya's bag, and holds it out to Alya as she says "You and Ladybug will both be better off without me."

"You say so!" Alya says before she runs out of the room.

"Wait! Your bag!" Marinette yells out before she runs after Alya.

In the locker room, at Adrien's open locker, Adrien talks to Plagg as he flies out, "My first day at school and I don't even make it past roll call."

"A day off?" Plagg said excitedly, "Now that's what I'm talking about!"

"Oh, no no no no. We've got homework to do." Adrien corrects him before he activates his transformation sequence, "Plagg, claws out!" Adrien then transforms into Cat Noir.

Outside the school, Stoneheart is still holding Mylène and Chloé captive. Chloé is complaining to Stoneheart and says, "You have no idea who you're dealing with. My daddy, the mayor, will bring in the police, the army, the entire cavalry!"

"And don't forget the superheroes! Iron Tail!" Cat Noir jumps from behind and hits Stoneheart with his belt (tail) as it glows silver, but it makes Stoneheart grows bigger. "Oh no. My bad."

Chloé says with a disappointed tone, "Ugh. Super incompetent, you mean."

"Ugh! You wanted the cavalry? Well, here it is!" Stoneheart says as the stone beings run amok and surround Cat Noir. "Seize him!" he commands.

Cat Noir dodges them before saying, "Can't hit what you can't touch! Double Team!" Soon clones of Cat Noir appear as they all dodge the stone beings' attacks.

"Watch out!" Mylène say to Cat Noir as he is being attacked. As Stoneheart walks off, she tries to plead to him again. "Ivan! Where are we going?"

"To deliver a message." Stoneheart answered, "Then we'll be brought together forever by a pretty black butterfly."

"Ugh. All this lovey-dovey stuff is making me sick." Chloé said with disgust.

"Don't worry, little monster. I'm gonna take care of you, too." Stoneheart says to Chloé causing her to cringe with fear.

Meanwhile, Alya is running to where the Stonehearts and the Cat Noir clones are battling. As the Stonehearts hit each clone, they fade away. With all the clones gone, Cat Noir calls out, "If you can hear me, Ladybug, I could use a little help!"

Alya holds out her phone to record, but she too is wondering, "What's she waiting for?"

Meanwhile, Marinette sees the stone beings. One of them knocks over a car and it is about to hit Alya, but Cat Noir throws his stick to save her. Alya gets trapped. A stone being kidnaps Cat Noir. "Let go, you rockhead!" Cat Noir says as he is carried away.

"HELP!" Alya screamed out. Hearing her friend's cries, Marinette suddenly gets filled with courage. She gets the case out of Alya's bag and puts on the Miraculous. Then, Tikki appears, happy to see Marinette again.

"I think I need Ladybug!" Marinette says to the kwami.

Tikki replies, "I knew you'd come around!"

Marinette, still full of doubt, says "Well, I'm still not sure I'm up for this, but Alya's in danger. I can't sit back and do nothing." She then begins her transformation sequence by saying "Tikki, spots on! Ha!" and Marinette transforms into Ladybug.

Ladybug pulls the car with her yo-yo and Alya is freed. "You can't stay here. It's too dangerous." She said before grabbing Cat Noir's staff and follows the trail of stone beings. Ladybug avoids them and throws Cat Noir's stick to him as she tells him "Cat Noir! Extend it!" He does so, and jumps out of the stone being's hand to the ground. Ladybug pulls him to safety with her yo-yo and he is left hanging upside down as she tells him "Sorry I was late."

"M'lady, have I ever told you you turn my world upside down?" Cat Noir said and winks at her.

"Oh, you're quite the jokester, aren't you?" Ladybug replied but suddenly hears and sees the Stonehearts closing in. She then says "But your comedic timing needs work. We gotta get outta here! Agility!" That move gave her a sudden speed boost so she could escape over the buildings while dragging Cat Noir behind her.

As they jump from rooftop to rooftop trying to get away, Cat Noir asks "Hey, aren't we gonna take care of 'em?"

Ladybug uses her yo-yo as a phone, most likely showing the news with helicopter footage of the original, to track down Stoneheart. Seeing the footage, she tells her partner, "No. If we wanna save them all, then we go to the source. That one!" she said as she points towards the Great Crater.

Stoneheart is on a ledge on the side of the Paldean crater, with the police surrounding him.

"I demand my daughter's safe return!" André says through a megaphone.

"Daddy!" Chloé cries out in fear.

"You know what? You're welcome to her!" Stoneheart said as he grunts and throws Chloé towards them.

Chloé screams while being thrown and André screams in fright. In what she believed were her final moments, Chloé begs out, "Help! I promise I'll be nice to everyone, say please and thank you all- AH!" But Ladybug catches her and she then says, "I didn't promise."

Confused, Ladybug asked "What?"

"My little princess…" André says as he hugs his daughter.

"We're clear to attack!" Officer Roger says as all his officers and their Pokémon take aim towards the stone beings.

Trying to stop them, Ladybug says "Wait! No, don't attack them! You know it'll only make it worse!"

"I have a new plan, unlike you!" Roger responds, "Move aside and let the pros do their thing. You've already failed once!"

Hearing the officer say that made Ladybug sad, "…He's right, you know. If I'd captured Stoneheart's akuma the first time around, none of this would have happened! I knew I wasn't the right one for this job…"

Cat Noir interrupts her and assures her, "No. He's wrong, because without you, she'd no longer be here." He said as they look at Chloe before continuing, "And because without us, they won't make it, and we'll prove that to 'em. Trust me on this. Okay?"

Hearing her partner's words reassured Ladybug as she replied, "Okay."

Stoneheart coughs and spits out a swarm of akumas that form Hawk Moth's face before he collapsed. "People of Paldea, listen carefully. I am Hawk Moth."

Ladybug and Cat Noir both asked "Hawk Moth?"

Hawk Moth continues and says "Ladybug, Cat Noir, give me the Ledian earrings and the Liepard ring now. You've done enough damage to these innocent people!"

Ladybug claps sarcastically while walking forward and says "Nice try, Hawk Moth, but we know who the bad guy is. Let's not reverse the roles here. Without you, none of these innocent victims would be transformed into villains. Hawk Moth, no matter how long it takes, we will find you, and YOU will hand us YOUR Miraculous!" She then jumps up and uses her yo-yo and says "Time to de-evilize!" as she uses her yo-yo to make Hawk Moth disappear by catching multiple akumas; Cat Noir and the others look at her, astonished. "People and Pokémon of Paldea, let me make this promise to you. No matter who wants to harm you, Ladybug and Cat Noir will do everything in our power to keep you safe!" She opens her yo-yo, and a busload of purified butterflies comes out. As they watch on the news, Marinette's parents and the students are thrilled.

As the crowd is cheering behind him, Cat Noir says to himself, "Wow. Whoever she is beneath that mask, I love that girl."

Back in his lair, Hawk Moth says to himself in a disgusted tone of voice, "Agh! That's the problem with superheroes. They're too… heroic!" The light mask forms again around Stoneheart's face as Hawk Moth speaks to him, "Stoneheart, they're trying to take your loved one away from you. You must snatch their Miraculouses so they will be powerless against you!"

"Okay, Hawk Moth." Stoneheart says as he gets back up.

"Help me!" Mylène cries out as Ladybug and Cat Noir leap out in front of them.

"You'll never take Mylène from me! Come to me, my stone beings!" Stoneheart says before he climbs up the Cliffside.

Cat Noir looks down from the ledge and sees the stone beings climbing up the rocky wall. Shocked, he says to Ladybug, "We're surrounded! What do we do now? We can't attack him."

"Yes, but we know where the akuma is." Ladybug replies.

Cat Noir looks up towards Stoneheart and says, "In his clenched fist. The one he's holding Mylène with. So…"

"So we know he's in love with her." Ladybug says as she's thinking, before she realizes, "That's it! We don't separate Stoneheart and Mylène, we bring them closer together! They're made for one another! It's just that they don't know it yet."

As she uses her yo-yo to swing up the Cliffside wall, Cat Noir says "Ugh. I'm not really following you, but guess I better trust you." He then turns towards the fourth wall and says "Something tells me that this is how it's gonna be from here on out."

Ladybug and Cat Noir gradually leap their way towards the top of the crater, ahead of Stoneheart.

Seeing Ladybug, Mylène calls out to her "Help! I'm scared of heights!"

"Everything's gonna be alright!" Ladybug says in hopes of reassuring her.

Stoneheart then calls out for his stone beings who begin to climb up and attack Cat Noir. While trying to fight, he asks her, "How are you planning to get them closer than they already are?"

"By using our powers!" Ladybug answered before pulling out her yo-yo and calling activating her "Lucky Charm!" In a swirl of red and black polka dots, a parachute appears. Curious, she asks aloud "A parachute? What am I supposed to do with this?"

Cat Noir gets thrown away by a stone being and screams. After he catches himself, he calls out to ask her, "You sure you know what you're doing?"

"We'll find out soon enough!" Ladybug said as she puts on the parachute. She then uses her yo-yo to tie Stoneheart's hand as it wrap around his head. "His hand! Get ready!" She says to Cat Noir.

She starts pulling his hand and Mylène kisses Stoneheart. In shock, Stoneheart lets go of her. Mylène grabs on to his finger while the paper wad falls. Cat Noir jumps drop and grabs the akumatized paper, he then uses his staff to bat it up towards Ladybug. She then grabs the paper with her yo-yo and says, "Home run!" as she breaks the paper. As a result, akuma emerges and she opens up her yo-yo. "No more evil doing for you, little akuma. De-evilize— Huh?" But before she could capture it, Ladybug sees Stoneheart turning back into Ivan and he and Mylène begin falling down from the cliff. She decides to jumps down to rescue them and says to her partner, "Cat Noir, you take care of Ivan!"

"Cataclysm!" Cat Noir calls out as he uses his Cataclysm on the rock wall, causing a portion of the wall to extend outward. [That part still doesn't make sense to me]. He slides on it and rescues Ivan, as Ladybug rescues Mylène.

"Gotcha!" Ladybug captures the akuma before she pulls the parachute cord and they float to the ground. Once they're on the ground, she then releases the purified butterfly, "Bye-bye, little butterfly. Miraculous Ladybug!" she says as she throws the Lucky charm into the air. Its energy starts turning everything back to normal and the stone beings are turned back into people.

Seeing the beauty, Cat Noir asks "Whoa. Are you seeing what I'm seeing?"

In astonishment, Ladybug answers "Yeah. It's beautiful and amazing. It's… uh… MIRACULOUS!"

In Hawk Moth's lair, he manically says aloud "This is just the beginning, Ladybug. You and Cat Noir may have won this battle, but I will win the war. I will get your Miraculouses. I will get the ultimate power! And then my secret dream will come true!" The window slowly starts to close.

Back by the crater, Ladybug says to Ivan and Mylène, "I think you two have things to talk about. Hm?"

"Oh, uh… I… Uh…" Ivan tries to talk but is too embarrassed.

"Maybe it would help if you read the lyrics to Ivan's song." Ladybug says as she gives the paper to Mylène.

Mylène starts reading the lyrics and says "Wow, it's really beautiful. It's a shame you can't hear them when you scream. I mean, when you sing."

In sadness, Ivan says "It was scary, wasn't it. Is that why you left? I'm sorry, I'll be gentle." After hearing this, Mylène hugs Ivan, causing him to blush.

"Oh, they're so made for each other." Ladybug says his joy.

"Like us two." Cat Noir says as he tries to reach for her shoulder but his Miraculous starts to beep.

Ladybug interrupts and grabs his wrist saying, "Uh oh. You see that? Low health. Time to split. See you soon, Cat Noir." She then uses her yo-yo to swing away.

"Can't wait, M'lady." Cat Noir says as he bows before leaping away.

Up on the crater, a shadowy figure watches as the heroes leave in different directions.

While on their way to school, Marinette and Alya are talking and Alya tells her "So, by the time I biked to the crater, it was all over. I'm way bummed."

As they walk up the steps, Marinette reassures her by saying "Don't worry. You'll get your scoop eventually."

Alya with determination replies, "You're right. Next target: 'Ladybug, an exclusive interview!'"

"Ooh. Sounds exciting." Marinette dramatically says.

But then, Alya stops and says "Oh, wait! Even better: finding out who's really under that mask."

"Uh-huh. Good luck with that one." Marinette responds to her friend.

Meanwhile, in the Agreste car, Gabriel is scolding Adrien via video. "You disobeyed me, Adrien. Take a look at that school."

Adrien looks out the window and feeling down says "Yes, Father."

Gabriel continues and says "You will never, I say never, go back there again…"

Adrien interrupts, trying to plead with him, "Father, no…" but get interrupted himself.

"Without your bodyguard." Gabriel continues to Adrien's astonishment. "He will drop you off and pick you off every day. Nathalie has offered to organize you a new schedule. You'll be continuing your music, Chinese, and fencing classes and your photoshoots."

Adrien happily says "Thank you, Nathalie. Thank you, Father!" as he leaves the car.

In Miss Bustier's classroom, as Marinette and Alya are walking in, Marinette stops and says "No, wait." Then her and Alya go to sit on the seats behind Nino.

Walking in, Chloé says to the two, "Uhh… You're in the wrong seat. Go on, get lost!"

"All that is necessary for the triumph of evil, is that good people do nothing!" Marinette replied.

Chloé asks "What is that supposed to mean?

Marinette answers "It means that I'm not putting up with your crud anymore, Chloé, and neither is anyone else around here, so take your attitude and go on, get lost!" All the other students laugh and Chloé takes Marinette's previous seat angrily with Sabrina sitting next to her.

"Good job!" Alya says with pride and she bumps Marinette on the shoulder.

Adrien enters the classroom and he waves at Marinette but she turns away from him and he is feeling down again.

Seeing this, Nino says to Adrien, "Dude, you wanna make friends, right? Well, go talk to Marinette. You know, about the chewing gum."

"But what should I say to her?" Adrien asks.

And Nino says "Just be yourself." This makes Adrien smile.

Before class finishes, Miss Bustier makes an announcement to all of her students. "Alright everyone, despite all the excitement from yesterday, again, the results of your evaluation quizzes have been completed and you will now receive your new partner Pokémon." She begins to pass out Pokéballs to each of her students.

One by one, each of the students opens up their Pokéballs and gets excited with their new partners: Juleka gets Litten, Rose gets Tepig, Alix gets Treecko, Nathaniel gets Cyndaquil, Max gets Froakie, Kim gets Mudkip, Ivan gets Bulbasaur, Mylène gets Chikorita, Sabrina gets Chespin, Chloé gets Quaxly, Nino gets Squirtle, and Alya gets Fennekin. As they look around and see the joy on their fellow students' faces, the only one to not open their Pokéballs were Adrien and Marinette. Adrien opens his to find the Grass Cat Pokémon, Sprigatito, and it yawns and meows before licking its trainer's face as Adrien smiles with delight.

Marinette just stares at her Pokéball, too nervous to open it, when Alya says "Aren't you gonna meet your new partner?"

"What if I'm not a good trainer?" Marinette responds.

Alya smiles, puts her hand on Marinette's shoulder and says "You won't know until you try."

Marinette smiles at her friend's words before looking back at her Pokéball, taking a deep breathe, and open it up. After a flash of light, Marinette's partner Pokémon is revealed to be the Penguin Pokémon. Piplup. Her worriedness turns to joy as she happily picks up her new partner and twirls her around before falling onto the floor. The two looked and each other and began to laugh, this was going to be the start of a great partnership.

Outside the school, on top of the school steps, it is shown to be raining. Marinette reaches out and feels the rain with her hand while holding her new partner Pokémon in her arms.

"Hey." Adrien says as he walks up next to her with Sprigatito on his shoulder, but Marinette still ignores him. He opens his umbrella and says to her "I just wanted you to know that I was only trying to take the chewing gum off your seat. I swear. I've never been to school before. I've never had friends. It's all sort of new to me." As he looks back at her, he hands her his umbrella, and they share brief eye contact through the exchange. Then the umbrella closes over Marinette's head, causing Adrien to laugh, resulting in Marinette smiling and laughing as well and Adrien sighs. Before he heads to the cars, Adrien says "See you tomorrow" and walks down the stairs.

Marinette drops her bag. Marinette tries to say goodbye, but "Uh-huh!… see you to…mo… tomo… Haha! Whoa, why am I stammering?"

Tikki flies out and says "Hey! I think I might have an idea!" flies onto Marinette's cheek while Piplup smugly agrees.

Plagg peeks out of Adrien's shirt, looks at him and says "First day of school and we already have two lovebirds."

"Pfft. Whatever. She's just a friend." Adrien responds then realizes, "Oh… a friend…" He then smiles and blushes as he enters the car and goes home.

Marinette grabs her bag and goes home to show her family her new partner. Meanwhile, Wang Fu is watching them at the school entrance and Wayzz says to him, "Excellent choice, Master."

Wang Fu rubs his chin hair as he says "Those two are made for each other."
