Season 1 Episode 3: Stormy Weather
In an exterior view of Mesagoza, a television studio is showing a huge monitor displaying two young ladies as a familiar voice plays for the crowd of people outside. "Ladies and gentlemen! Welcome to the Iono Zone! I'm your host, Levincia's very own Supercharged Streamer, Iono. Here is luxurious Mesagoza to bring you the finals of our KIDZ+ competition! When today, one lucky winner will be announced as Paldea's brand new KIDZ+ weather girl!"
The crowd outside chanting Mireille's and Aurore's names as the two girls exit the limousine, Aurore and Mireille both smile and wave to the crowd while entering the building. In the main studio, Iono continues to announce "We started off with 5000 contestants. But with the help of our audience at home, we whittled our talent down to just these two amazing young ladies! So, let's welcome our fantastic finalists! To my right, Aurore Beauréal, and on my left, Mireille Caquet! Who will be the lucky winner? Vote now! Text 1 for Aurore and 2 for Mireille. And remember, standard text messaging rates apply."
Meanwhile, as the show is playing on the television, the view pans out to the Dupain-Cheng House's living room. In the living room, Marinette is chasing Manon while Piplup is struggling to help. "Come on, Manon, give that back!" Marinette said to her with exhaustion in her voice.
"But I wanna be a fashion designer too!" Manon replied while wearing the hat Marinette was designing. Marinette lunge to catch her but falls on the sofa.
"Manon, please, it's not finished! You're gonna ruin it!" Marinette says while looking for her. Manon giggles under the table which causes Marinette to crawl under the table but crashes with the table. She crawls along the floor looking for Manon until she sees the figure of someone behind the curtain and giggles. She tiptoes to the curtain and opens it only to see that it is a doll on a stand wearing her hat. She stands there surprised until she hears Manon's voice behind her.
Manon is standing by the television while holding a phone and says "I'm gonna vote for Mireille, she's the best!"
"Hey, my phone!" Marinette says as grabs her phone but then Manon grabs Marinette's hat again. Piplup tries to stop Manon with a Water Gun attack, but it misses hits Marinette. Drenched, Marinette spits out the water and says sarcastically, "Thanks Piplup." Piplup just stands there rubbing the back of her head in awkward regret. "Ughhh... Why did I agree to do this again?" Marinette asks aloud as she dries herself off before Tikki appears. Seeing her kwami in hair, Marinette quietly tells her "Stay low, Tikki!"
"Don't worry" said Tikki, "You know what? If you can handle Manon for a day, any villain here on out will be a piece of cake." Hearing this made Marinette smile before the doorbell rings and Tikki hides.
"Piplup, try to keep an eye on Manon for a minute?" Marinette asked as she walked over to the door. She opened the door and sees her best friend, as she is holding her partner Pokémon Fennekin, and says "Alya?"
"Hey, I got a huge scoop for you. Guess who's on a photoshoot in the western plaza park?" Alya says as she shows Marinette her phone. On the phone, it shows Marinette's crush, Adrien, in a photoshoot with his Pokémon, Sprigatito, as his cameraman, Vincent, is taking pictures and his bodyguard is holding a light filter.
Marinette sees this and excitedly asks as she snags her friend's phone, "Now? Adrien is in the park right now?"
"As we speak!" Alya replies.
Marinette panics as she says, "Oh, gosh! What...what am I gonna say to him?"
"The same thing as usual. I... uhhh... dahee... wha... ahh..." Alya jokingly imitates Marinette.
"Stop it." Marinette says before smiling. Suddenly she feels Manon standing between her legs while holding a struggling Piplup.
"Uh, who's she?" asked Manon.
Marinette says to Alya as she picks up her Pokémon, "Whoops! I forgot about this little detail."
"And who's she?" Alya asks as she waves at the little girl.
"This is Manon, one of my mom's friends' daughters. I'm watching her all afternoon." Marinette gasps as she realizes "Oh no! I can't go out!"
"Let me guess. Another 'you couldn't say no' favor?" Alya says, knowing her friend all too well.
"No, I just couldn't... say... no..." Marinette said ashamed of herself.
"Look, no problem! I'll look after your little detail for you." Alya said before Manon runs off.
"Thanks, but I'm responsible for her..." Marinette replied. "Besides, I couldn't do that to you. She's... an absolute angel!" Suddenly a crash is heard, Marinette screams and runs after Manon, who is carrying a pot and a spatula. "Manon! Put that down! Ugh! Come back!" Marinette says as she fumbles over the couch trying to catch her. All while Piplup gets a small pot stuck on her head and struggles to get it off.
Alya walks into the room and places Fennekin on the top of the couch Marinette continues to chase after Manon. Eventually, she walks back to Alya with Manon pulling on her arm as Alya tells her, as she pulls the pot off of Piplup, "You're just a pushover, Marinette. I have to babysit my sisters all the time, which makes me an expert in dealing with angels."
"Who are you, anyway?" Manon asks with a snarky, angry tone.
Alya crouches down and tells the little girl, "I'm a mythical Pokémon from the world of Reespa, disguised as a totally fabulous human girl! With her magical fire fox who can grant wishes, but only to little Mankeys who behave!"
Manon laughs as she says "No, you're not! ...Are you?"
Alya grabs Manon in the air, and puts her on Marinette's shoulders before saying "Okay, let's all go to the park!" Manon cheers with excitement as Marinette carries her out the door with Fennekin and Piplup following.
Back at the KIDZ+ studio, Iono is announcing the new weather girl as a countdown to zero shows on the screen behind her. "This is the moment we've been waiting for! The viewers at home have made their decision, and the new KIDZ+ weather girl is..." The votes are shown onscreen and Mireille has significantly more votes. "Mireille!" Hearing this made Aurore gasp with shock as the crowd cheers. Iono then said to Aurore, "Man, she crushed you, eh? Better luck next time!" Aurore leaves angrily as Iono continues, "What's the big deal? You only lost by half a million votes!"
The window in Hawk Moth's lair slowly starts to open as Hawk Moth says aloud, "The vibrations are so strong, I can feel the eminent anger and sadness. The moment of weakness of my next victim... Such easy prey for my akuma." He begins to swirl his other hand around, which collects glowing purple dust and moves it over the butterfly. With his hands pressed together over the butterfly, the glowing dust infuses the butterfly as it turns into an akuma. With the akuma charged, he sends it out through the window and into the city.
In the KIDZ+ building, Aurore Beauréal impatiently pushes the up button then enters the elevator. In the elevator, Aurore angrily says aloud, "I should have won, I have the talent, the star looks, everything! But she took everything away from me. They took everything away from me! They—" Suddenly, the power suddenly goes down and in the darkness Aurore sees the akuma slip through the elevator doors. In fear, Aurore swings her parasol in hopes of scaring it away, but as she opened it up, the akuma enters in her parasol. As the parasol started to change to a dark color, the power turned back on.
A voice started to echo throughout the elevator, Hawk Moth, as he says "So correct you are. You should have won. Yes..."
"I should have won. Yes!" Aurore responds with a red hue over her eyes as she stands up before a glowing light mask appears over her eyes.
Through the light mask, Hawk Moth's voice can be heard speaking to her. "Stormy Weather, I am Hawk Moth. I give you the power of the Weather Pokémon, Castform, to seek revenge on them as my weather girl. All you have to do is bring me the Miraculous. Can you do that?"
"Yes!" Aurore replies.
Hawk Moth continues to speak to her as the purple cloud engulfs her, "That's my weather girl. Show the world who the best weather girl really is!" As he says this, the elevator doors open, revealing Stormy Weather.
Stormy Weather had purplish-blue skin, grayish mulberry-colored lipstick, and brilliant violet eyes. Her hair was two tones with mint green base and very purplish streaks and swirling pigtails, while the top of her hair resembled the complete swirl of Snowy Form Castform. On her face, she had jagged black face paint that surrounded her eyes and came down to her cheeks as lightning bolts.
She wore a tight, muted-color purple and blue two-piece dress that poofed into a curved bell-shape around her waist, had small shoulder puffs with a narrow-ended-tube-shaped collar, and also featured five white lightning bolt patterns that had bright purple outlines. The sleeves became white gloves with two of the lightning bolts above her elbows. She wore muted purple tights with white low heeled knee high boots that were angled at the "opening" near the calf, and two of the lightning bolts came out of the boots around the outsides of her legs near the knees (the last of the pattern was a sole lightning bolt centered squarely near her abdomen). Her weapon was a closed dark purple parasol that faded to brighter purple at the tip and had a black handle with a double spearhead at the bottom.
[I was planning on editing Stormy Weather's look to have more elements of Castform, but I'm having trouble trying to describe it so I just copy and pasted her wiki description. I'll probably edit later on.]
In the West Mesagoza Plaza, Adrien is having a photoshoot in the center garden display by the Pokémon Center. Meanwhile, the girls view the photoshoot from behind one of the trees. While observing, Marinette says to Alya, "Come on. We're gonna stroll over there real cool as if we just happened to be passing by."
"Then what?" Alya asked.
Marinette responds with excitement "Then? I'll invite him out for a fruit smoothie at the end of the photo shoot! Then, we'll get married! Live happily ever after in a beautiful house and have two kids? No, three. And a Growlithe! Maybe a Meowth? Nah, forget the Meowth. A Dedenne! I love Dedennes!"
As her friend is giggling with delusion, Alya says to her "Let's just start with just happen to be passing by and see if we can get to that smoothie." Marinette giggles awkwardly hearing that.
"Magnifico! Super! Come on now, I want to see hunger in your eyes! Sassiness in the kitty's eyes!" Vincent says to Adrien and Sprigatito as he's taking their pictures.
Marinette over dramatically walks passes the photoshoot, as Alya, Manon and the Pokémon follow. She says to the girls, "Remember, cool! Just be cool..."
Alya looks towards the shoot, notices Adrien isn't even looking and tells her "Um, we couldn't be more invisible."
Marinette stops in her tracks and says "Okay, let's start over." But as she's pushing the girls back, Adrien notices them and waves at them before Vincent angrily grunts at him to turn around. Seeing this, a surprised Marinette nudges Alya and says "Did you see that? He waved at me!" She waves back with a huge smile on her face.
"Yeah, I saw it too. Pretty normal, since we're in the same class." Alya replies as she puts Marinette's hand down.
At the KIDZ+ building, Mireille enters the elevator holding her trophy. After a ride down to her floor, the door opens and she sees Stormy Weather and hears her say "Hahahaha! I am Stormy Weather. The only weather girl who always gets the forecast right! And unfortunately for you, there's a freak icy front moving in right now! ICE BEAM!" She points her parasol and fires a blast of ice at the elevator, leaving a giant ice wall trapping Mireille.
"Somebody get me out of here! Help! Help!" Mireille says muffled through the ice.
Back at the Western plaza, Vincent continues taking pictures of Adrien as the girls watch. As he is photographing Adrien, Vincent says, "Bravo! That's it! Give me the smile when your mom brings in spaghetti! Okay! And now, Oh no! Mama dropped the spaghetti! And now, you have to eat the spaghetti off the floor! Oh yes, you're angry! Show me angry, yes, yes, yes!" As the photos are being taken, Marinette watches with her mouth wide open. Alya closes her mouth, only for her to open again.
While Manon squats towards the ground looking bored, and Piplup and Fennekin are both asleep next to her, she looks up and notices Mireille balloons being sold. She immediately stands up, pulls on Marinette's arm and says "Marinette, I want a balloon with Mireille on it! Can I? Can I!?" But she was too entranced by Adrien to hear anything. "...Marinette? MARINETTE!" That scream scared Marinette and woke up the Pokémon.
Being disrupted, an angry Vincent yells over at the girls, "Ngh! Silenzio!"
Adrien's bodyguard starts walking over to the girls as Manon yells while tugging on Marinette's arm. "Come on!"
Alya crouches down to Manon's side to try to calm her down, "Come on, small fry! I'll get you that balloon!" Fennekin leaps next to Alya and yips in agreement.
"No! I wanna go with Marinette!" Manon said while grabbing a hold of Marinette's leg.
Marinette looks down at Manon, looks back at Adrien's photoshoot and says to Alya, "I'll deal with it. I am her babysitter." She then struggles towards the balloons while Manon is still holding onto her leg and Piplup follows then in a Naruto run.
"But what about Adrien?" Alya asked her friend as she leaves.
Outside the KIDZ+ studio, Stormy Weather exits the building as the crowd chants Mireille's name. But upon seeing Stormy Weather, a civilian asked "Where's Mireille?"
Stormy Weather grunted at that statement and said to the crowd "Ugh... For all of you who voted for Mireille, I'd advise you to move indoors. It's going to get very blustery! Oh wait... too late. HURRICANE!" She attacks with her parasol, sending the civilians and their Pokémon away with a windy blast.
Meanwhile in the Western plaza, Manon is getting a balloon as Marinette impatiently says "Come on, let's go back."
Manon interrupts her by saying, "I want to go on the merry-go-round!
[I know there isn't a merry-go-round in the game, but I have no idea what could be a good replacement for it story wise.]
As Manon runs to the merry-go-round, Marinette and Piplup rush after her as she says "No, no, no, no, not right now, I gotta get back to Adrien..."
Before she can continue, Manon says to her in a cute baby voice, "You promised! You aren't going to break your promise, are you?"
Marinette says to her, "Aw, please, please, not the baby doll eyes... You know I can't say no to the-" but she gets interrupted when Manon flashes her baby doll eyes. When Marinette smiles, Manon immediately grabs her by her hand and giggles as they run off and Piplup struggles to keep up with them.
As Stormy Weather is flying above the city, causes a flock of Wattrels to disperse and fly off, she keeps seeing banners of Mireille which angers her. Suddenly, she stops midflight when a balloon of Mireille floats in front of her face. Frustrated even more, Stormy Weather looks down and sees a vendor passing out the balloons. As a young kid cries over losing their balloon, the vendor says "Here's another one!" as they had the kid another balloon.
Vincent is photographing Adrien and Sprigatito, who both appear to be tired. Disapproving of the photos, Vincent says "No, no, no! The boy and his kitty have eaten too much spaghetti! Ugh, we need more energy! More romance! We need...a girl!" Having this thought, Vincent looks around and notices Alya and Fennekin sitting over by a nearby tree and runs to them "You! I need an extra!"
"Who, me?" Alya asked.
"Sì! To pose with Mr. Adrien!" Vincent responded. "Even your funny fox will pose well with the kitty!"
Thinking the situation though, Alya replies "Uh... Hah! You don't want me, I... uhh... I think I'm having an allergic reaction to this apple." She then talks as if her tongue is swollen. "I know jutht (just) the perthon (person) you need! Hold that thought!" She and Fennekin then rush over to the merry-go-round. While struggling to catch her breath, Alya says to Marinette, "They need an extra to pose with Adrien!"
"What? Seriously?" Marinette said flustered with surprise.
Manon looks towards Marinette and asks her, "Is that boy your boyfriend?"
Shocked, Marinette replies "What?! No, I mean, yes? No!" Piplup mocks her trainer by doing a kissy face, annoying Marinette as she says "Knock it off Piplup!"
"Go on! What are you waiting for?!" Alya says to encourage her friend.
Marinette struggles with the decision as she asks "But, what about Manon?"
Alya interrupts Marinette by wagging finger towards her and hand gesturing her move aside. Alya then gets on the merry-go-round with Manon and Fennekin hops on in front as she says to her friend, "You take care of Prince Charming, and I'll take care of Miss Unicorn here. You don't know how to control her anyway."
"No way! Marinette's my babysitter!" Manon says with annoyed frustration.
"Trust me." Alya said as she looked towards Marinette. "Unicorns unite! Let's go to Rispa and find us some sad little village kids and grant those wishes! Yee-haw!" The excitement made Fennekin wag her tail with joy.
"Yee-haw!" Manon cheered as well.
As Marinette ran towards the photoshoot, she heard a commotion from civilians and turns to see Stormy Weather. "Blizzard!" Stormy Weather said as she fires an icy wind at the civilians. While civilians run away screaming, the Blizzard surrounds the merry-go-round and incases it in a thick ice dome. Inside the dome, Manon's balloon freezes and breaks apart.
"Oh no, Manon!" Marinette said before looking toward Stormy Weather and telling her Pokémon, "Piplup, use Water Gun!" As she said that, Piplup squirts a stream of water towards Stormy Weather, getting her wet.
Wet and angry, Stormy Weather turns towards Marinette and says, "Ahh, the little girl thinks she's a hero. Well let's see how you like this!" She then swings her parasol towards them as the tip started to glow and yells out, "THUNDERBOLT!" A bluish bolt of lightning then fires from the parasol and heads towards Piplup.
"Dodge it!" Marinette yells to Piplup and she jumps aside. "Now, use Pound!" Hearing that, Piplup's flipper started to glow white as she jumped up to strike at Stormy Weather, but she missed as the villain swerved to the side and Piplup was struggling to stay flying.
"Fly away little birdy!" Stormy Weather said as swings her parasol around again unleashes a powerful wind. "HURRICANE!" The force of the wind sent Piplup flying back towards Marinette, Marinette catches Piplup who was left with swirls in her eyes. Marinette returned Piplup to her Pokéball and ran off.
Marinette runs to a bench and hides as she opens her bag. "Time to transform!" Marinette said as her kwami flew out. "Tikki, spots on! Yeah!" Her transformation sequence began as Marinette transforms into Ladybug.
A lightning bolt hit a Mireille balloon as civilians ran away. "Oh no! Ahh!" Soon Stormy Weather lands on the ground fires more Thunderbolts at people and their Pokémon.
The commotion interrupted the photoshoot and a concerned Adrien runs to a tree to get his bag. "Sprigatito, return." Adrien said as his Pokémon returned to the Pokéball. He then opens his bag, but finds it empty. "Plagg? Plagg!" He whispered out.
"I'm not here! I'm sleeping!" Plagg said muffled. But then Adrien holds up a piece of Camembert and Plagg comes out of a suitcase to fly over to the cheese. He is about to eat it but then he suddenly notices Adrien with a smug smirk on his face as he tell him "For your information, I can smell Camembert in my sleep. It's only one of my many talents."
"Great, but there's no time to talk cheese." Adrien says as he activates his transformation sequence. "Plagg, claws out!" Plagg gets interrupted eating his cheese and absorbed into the ring as Adrien transforms into Cat Noir.
Ladybug parkour jumps over obstacles as she says to herself. "Why did I leave Manon? I should have never done that! No. Alya's right. She's in good hands. I must trust her." She then gets to where the girls are and says to Alya and Manon "I'll get you out of there! Let's wire-cut this icy cake!" Ladybug uses her yo-yo, but its cord just slips off of the ice and fumbles over. "Or not?" she said as she gets back up.
"Let me try!" Alya says, "Fennekin, use Ember!" Then her fire fox fires a blanket of small orange sparks from her mouth towards the ice, but the ice was too cold, nothing changed. "What?!" Alya said with surprise.
"On to plan B! Or I guess… C?" She says before she head to the ice and says to Alya and Manon "Don't worry, everything's gonna be okay!"
"Where are Marinette and Piplup?" Manon muffled voice asked through the ice.
Ladybug crouches down to her height and tells her, "She hasn't forgotten about you, Manon."
"How did you know my name?" Manon asked.
Realizing what she said, Ladybug replies "Ah! Uhh... Marinette told me! I saw her and Piplup battling the villain so I got them out of here. She's coming right back, okay?" She then puts her hand on the ice to comfort Manon as Alya kneels down next to her and gives a thumbs-up. She then swings her yo-yo and heads off to confront the villain.
Stormy Weather keeps firing Thunderbolts as she leaves the plaza and enters the main part of the city. Suddenly she turns around when she hears Cat Noir say to her, "Hey Ice Queen, what's with all the terrorizing? Why don't you pick on someone your own temperature?"
In anger, Stormy Weather responds "My name is not Ice Queen! It's Stormy Weather!"
"Listen. I'm feline more generous than usual today. So cool down and we'll call it quits, 'kay?" Cat Noir said while swinging his tail. Unamused, Stormy Weather fires a harsh wind that sends Cat Noir flying a long way and lands in a nearby street.
Ladybug swings in and helps lift him back up as she jokingly tells him "I thought cats always landed on their feet.
"Why thanks, my Ladybug, but I had it covered." Cat Noir said before he kisses Ladybug's hand.
But Ladybug pushes Cat Noir back by his nose and says "No time for your childish charm, Cat Noir. But you're welcome."
Stormy Weather flies down to the street and says to the heroes "We should be expecting lightning storms like right NOW! THUNDERBOLT!" She points her parasol upwards and fires a purple bolt of electricity which darkens the sky with storm clouds and creates lightning that strikes at Ladybug and Cat Noir.
The lightning is about to hit Cat Noir but Ladybug pushes him out of the way and they roll over. After they stop rolling, with Cat Noir on top of her, Ladybug blinks twice, then Cat Noir blinks twice and pulls himself up and grins. Irritated, Ladybug turns his head toward back Stormy Weather who floats closer to him as he says "You just won yourself a catfight! Shadow Claw!" As he said that his hand became surrounded aura with a purple outline that took the form of a claw and he ran towards the villain.
"How about some black ice?! ICE BEAM!" Stormy Weather said as she uses her parasol to coat the street with ice. She then creates another wind blast that pushes the heroes back. "Let's follow it up with a HURRICANE!"
As the strong winds blow the heroes (and several cars) down the street, Ladybug swings her yo-yo around a pole and catches Cat Noir by his tail. "Gotcha!" she says and holds on until the wind suddenly stopped. Stormy Weather floats down the plaza, casually blows things away with the wind swirling around her, until sees a screen with Mireille's face on it and blasts it with a Thunderbolt.
As the heroes get back on their feet, Cat Noir stretches as he says, "A little Cat Noir will take the wind out of her sails! Night Sla-" But gets interrupted as Ladybug grabs him by his tail.
As she holds him back, she tells him, "Whoa, kitty kitty. You better think before you leap."
She lets go of him and he asks, while petting his tail, "You got a plan?"
"Just follow my lead." Ladybug said before she runs along the face of a building, prompting Cat Noir to do likewise on the other side of the street.
As she's floating, Stormy Weather turns around and notices Ladybug and Cat Noir lunging towards her. "Not you again! HURRICANE!" she said as she fires a powerful windy blast at them, knocking them backward through the air, along with several vehicles.
On the other side of the city, Ladybug and Cat Noir manage to land on their feet, but hurriedly try to dodge the oncoming cars flying towards them. "Agility!" Ladybug said which caused her speed to increase to help her dodge faster. After successfully dodging all the cars, they suddenly see a bus about to crash onto them. In a spur of the moment decision, Ladybug pulls Cat Noir close and uses her yo-yo as a shield. Her yo-yo cuts a circular hole on the side of the bus, saving the two heroes. Inside the bus, her yo-yo slowly stops spinning and falls on Cat Noir's head, causing him pain. Cat Noir is irritated at Ladybug after her yo-yo fell on his head, but Ladybug just giggles.
At the western plaza, while the firefighters are chopping away at the ice and police Growlithes are using Fire Spin (With no affect), Alya is playing patty cake with Manon while trapped in the frozen merry-go-round. "Lemonade, crunchy ice, hit it once, hit it twice, freeze!"
Annoyed, Manon says "Hey, no fair, you always win, uni!" Suddenly, they hear ice cracking and Manon asked, "What was that?"
As the icicles grow bigger above them, Alya tries to make her laugh by saying, "It's... the big goblin king! He ate too much and split his shirt! Wahahaha!" She and Fennekin the start chasing Manon around but stop when the ice cracks again and the icicles grow more. "Wanna hear a story?" a worried Alya asks as she leads Manon and Fennekin back under the merry-go-round.
Back in the city, Stormy Weather jumps onto a rooftop a light mask forms on her face as she hears Hawk Moth says to her "You showed them all who the real winner is, my weather girl. But now is the time for you to fulfill your part of the agreement. And here's my plan."
Ladybug opens the window to the bus and she and Cat Noir exit as she says, "Maybe she's got some unresolved anger issues!"
"Or she didn't pass her driving test!" Cat Noir jokingly replied as they run toward the street.
As they run down the street to try to catch up to her, they Stormy Weather on the cracked screen as she's broadcasting to the citizens of Mesagoza. "Hello, viewers! Here's the latest forecast for the first day of summer." The map behind her shows the entire Paldea region before it zooms in on Mesagoza. "Looks like Mother Nature had a change of plans. Summer vacation is officially over!"
"Already? But I look so good in a swimsuit." Cat Noir said as he smiles and he wiggles his eyebrows and nose at Ladybug.
"The catsuit will do, thanks." Ladybug replied, "At least now we know where to find her."
Ladybug and Cat Noir enter the KIDZ+ studio as Stormy Weather being heard on the screen. "Prepare for the worst weather in history!"
As they're running in, Cat Noir stops and sees a poster of Aurore as he says "Hey! That girl reminds me of someone!"
Realizing the connection, Ladybug says "It's her! The akuma must be in her parasol!"
"In Stormy Weather's world, it's Winter Wonderland FOREVER!" Stormy Weather continued to say on the screen as Ladybug and Cat Noir kicked down the door to enter the studio, but they see no one.
"It's a recording!" Ladybug said as Stormy Weather cackles behind them and fires a thunderbolt at a light, causing the crash onto the heroes before they lunge out of the way. Suddenly, all of the lights gradually go out in the building.
"This is all going wonderfully according to plan. Soon their Miraculous will be mine. Bring them to me!" Hawk Moth said through the light mask as Stormy Weather giggles and runs off into the darkness.
Cat Noir activates his night vision and sees Stormy Weather run off. "Frosty the Snowgirl's getting away!" he said as he turned around and saw Ladybug trip and fall. "Oh, do I hear a damsel in distress?"
"Some of us don't have night vision... Whoa!" Ladybug said as Cat Noir grabs her hand and leads her along the way.
"No need to bug out. Just trust me!" he said as they both run down the hallway after the villain.
Back at the western plaza, Alya is telling a story to Manon while Fennekin tries to keep them warm. "Then the dark Dusknoir picked the princess up in his hand and said, 'Look into my eye!'" Manon laughs as Alya continues. "Then, gluck! She stuck a finger right in it! As soon as she took a bite of the cursed potato, the poor princess fell into a deep, deep sleep." She then gets interrupted by an icicle breaking through the top of the merry-go-round. "Hurry up, Ladybug..." she said as she hugged Manon and Fennekin close.
In the darkened KIDZ+ building, Ladybug and Cat Noir (who continues leading her by the hand) are following for Stormy Weather, using Cat Noir's night vision. As they enter the stairway, Ladybug tells Cat Noir, "Okay, that's enough. I think I can manage to—"
"Duck!" Cat Noir interrupts her as a fire extinguisher canister thrown by Stormy Weather, narrowly misses Ladybug.
"-follow your lead on this one." Ladybug continued as they finally reach the top of the building.
After they reach the roof, they look up and see Stormy Weather floating above them. "You airheads! You fell right into my trap! Hurricane!" she said as she makes a whirlwind appear with her parasol. The strong winds begin to surround the building, leaving no escape.
As another light mask appears on her face, Hawk Moth says to her, "The time is now! Bring me the Miraculous!"
"There's no way out! Party's over, fools!" Stormy Weather said to the heroes below her.
"We're just—" Ladybug tries to say before she sees Cat Noir still holding her hand. He awkwardly lets go of her hand as she continues "We're just getting started, Stormy!" Ladybug then calls upon her superpower, her "Lucky Charm!" As her yo-yo spins, Ladybug's Lucky Charm superpower gives her a bath towel. Seeing this, she asks aloud "A bath towel? What am I supposed to do with this?"
Cat Noir responds sarcastically "Great. So, we're about to be obliterated, but... At least we'll be dry."
"Just hold your whiskers." Ladybug said as she swung the towel so it would wrap around her arm.
"Blizzard!" Stormy Weather said as she pointed her parasol to the sky and the snowstorm increased in power before large ice chunks started to come down.
"Iron Tail!" Cat Noir said as he pulled Ladybug close to him and spun his glowing belt (tail) to make a shield and protect them both from the hail. As he spun his tail, he asked "So what's the plan for getting the akuma back? My health is draining fast!"
Ladybug starts to look around using her Lucky Vision as it shows her an HVAC tube, the bath towel, and a sign. After coming up with a plan, she says to Cat Noir, "See that sign over there? Check it out!"
"All right." Cat Noir said in agreement before activating his superpower "Cataclysm!" Cat Noir then says to Stormy Weather, "Hey, Coldilocks! Is that all you got? Double Team!" Suddenly multiple Cat Noirs appeared and start running in different directions.
Stormy Weather attacks the Cat Noirs with several Thunderbolts, but each one she hit was just a duplicate. As she's attacking the real Cat Noir uses his Cataclysm to make the billboard fall down towards Stormy Weather. She blasts a hole in it and flies through as Ladybug wraps her yo-yo around Stormy Weather's ankle. When the billboard falls over, it knocks down the HVAC tube exposing the fan. Ladybug takes off running under pipes and against a crane before jumping over the HVAC fan. As she jumps over the open fan, Ladybug opens the towel causing her to soar in the air, pulling down Stormy Weather. The speed at which she falls and the angle of the crane causes her to lose her parasol as Ladybug hears a screaming Stormy Weather. Cat Noir catches it and tosses it to Ladybug.
"Get out of here, you nasty bug." Ladybug said as she breaks the parasol and the akuma flies out. She then opens up her yo-yo and starts swinging it. "No more evil-doing for you, little akuma. Time to de-evilize!" She says as she captures the akuma. "Gotcha!" She then releases the purified butterfly and it flies away. "Bye-bye, little butterfly. Miraculous Ladybug!" Ladybug called out as she throws the Lucky charm in the air, reverting all the damage.
Back in the Western plaza, Alya was telling Manon another story "And after defeating the three-headed Hydreigon with...Huh?...Taekwondo..." however she was interrupted by the glacier around the merry-go-round melting and the Firefighters cheering. Alya: "Princess kissed her Prince Charming and..."
"They lived happily ever after?" Manon asked.
Alya answered, "Uh, sure. Until they had a dozen or so little Mankeys like you who drove them crazy!"
On the KIDZ+ building roof, Stormy Weather turns back into Aurore and asked in a confused tone, "Uh, what am I doing up here?"
Ladybug and Cat Noir: "Pound it!
In Hawk Moth's lair, Hawk Moth monologues aloud, "Someday, your Miraculous will be all mine. I don't care how many enemies I need to throw out to win, but I will be victorious!" The window slowly closes, engulfing the room in darkness.
In the Western plaza, Marinette and Piplup run back towards Alya and Manon until Tikki sees the photoshoot and says "Hey, there's the photographer and Adrien waiting for you!"
Marinette stops and sees the shoot before asking her kwami, "You don't think it's too late?"
Tikki responds with joy in her voice, "Come on, Marinette. You saved Manon, and the whole world for that matter. Have some fun!" Hearing this made Marinette smile as her Pokémon jumps up to give her a hug.
Suddenly she hears Manon calling out to her, "Marinette!" as the little girl runs towards her. After picking her up for a hug, Manon says to her, "I know what your secret is!"
Shocked, Marinette asks with panic in her voice, "W-w-what secret?"
Manon says to her "Ladybug is your best friend! That's how you both always know what the other one's gonna do!" Marinette sighs with relief before she hugs Manon some more.
As the girls and their Pokémon walk over to the photoshoot, Manon pulls on Marinette's arm and constantly asks, "Can I have a lollipop? Can I? Can I? Can I?"
"No, Manon. I have something important to do. Alya, you'll watch her, yeah? Marinette said as Alya nodded and she ran off to the shoot. "I'm ready for the photoshoot!"
"Wait. Who is that angel?" Vincent looks and points at Manon. Manon looks around before realizing he was taking about her and she smiled. Vincent takes photos of Adrien with Manon and Sprigatito as he excitedly says, "Hohoho! Stupendous! Magnifico! Perfecto! ..."
Marinette was disappointed, but Alya hugs and pats her while Piplup hugged her leg, making her smile at the great friends she has.
