Catherine sat on the beach at Henry and Eleanor's family's beach house.
"You must be so happy here," Catherine said, then looked at her friends. "I mean, are you?"
"What do you mean?" Eleanor asked.
"I think she wants to know," Henry interrupted, "are we happy?"
"I'm sorry," Catherine apologized. "I didn't mean for it to be a complicated question."
"Maybe we can turn it into a philosophical discussion," Henry laughed. "What is happiness?"
Catherine tried to think of a good reply. "I just was thinking it's so nice here."
"Nice?" Henry asked.
"Let's not start that now," Eleanor laughed.
