A/N: WHERE HAVE I BEEN??? When I first did this story, I entered High School, and upon learning that if I get As I might be able to go to a special program that will teach me proper 3D Animation, I took the risk. It's gonna be my Junior year in a few months and since I got most life things taken care of, I immediately came back to here. The 'Cinderella 3' parody story IS still planned so don't worry about that. Looking back, I've seen the errors in this story but I think I've improved more on my writing now. I still love you all and can't explain how much I appreciate every single one of you.
Conner Elliot: I LOVE those ideas, about Papa Bear protecting Goldi, I'll have that in mind!
Guest: Yes! There will be a few chapters more explaining more of how she got separated from her family (or at least how I think she did).
Anyways, I won't keep you here much longer, let's get into the story!
"Soooo, we're staying here...as if camping."
Mama Bear nodded in confirmation. "It's just too freezing to go back outside. It's the only idea we can have," from the hole she was digging for the kids, she got back up, satisfied that it was comfortable for them to sleep in, her and Papa will just have to make the best of the floor for the night. "so let's all just try to make the best of it, alright?" She said gently.
Papa snorted. "As if we were polar bears."
From the corner, Elizabeth was still remained sitting, hugging her knees. She had remained silent for a good while now, everything that had happened today was just so sudden...
Beside her, the bear cub hesitated before heading towards her and resting his muzzle on her legs. Elizabeth flinched, but sighed before hugging him and closing her eyes.

It was very late during the night when Elizabeth woke with pressure on her right arm, she turned to see the bear cub leaning on it, snoring lightly. Making sure to not wake him, she slowly moved away until he layed gently on the ground.
Silently beginning to stand up, she could still hear the chaos of the storm outside, but she decided that would be perfect for hiding the sounds of her footsteps.
Both slowly and quietly, she began to walk to where they had entered.
She shivered at the ice-freezing breeze now only a couple of inches away from her before turning back to the bears.
For an animal considered dangerous...they slept very peacefully.
She lowered her head, closed her eyes, and sniffled a quiet sob.
What she was going to do was the last thing she wanted to, but she knew it was for her's and the animal's own good.
She took a loud breath before heading out of the den.

Mama Bear yawned loudly before opening her eyes.
It was still blackout, and the storm was still going loudly and strong in the world above.
With half-closed eyes, she looked at the direction where she had made the bedding for Baby and the gir-
-and immediately stood up with fright. She wasn't there.
"Honey? Honey! Wake up! The girl isn't here!"
Papa immediately woke with alert. "What?! Are-Are you sure?" Before he finished talking he was already looking frantically around the den.
Baby had also woken up at this point, he was whining with fright.
"Yes! And if she's not here, then there's only one place someone could be in right now, come on!" She grabbed Baby by his scruff and put him on her back, then she and Papa rushed into the storm again.

At this point, Elizabeth was practically forcing herself forward. Every part of her hurt, but she continued. There must be another place out there where she could find shelter, another place where somebody would love her and take care of her. Right?
Right?
She felt wetness of a tear beside her nose, so she shook it off.
Since when had she started crying?
Then, frustration was a big part of her, so with a growl, she kicked a rock as hard as she could.
And slipped.
She landed, hard, on the sharpest floor of coldness.
After a long while, not knowing if she had been unconscious or not, she opened her eyes, and with the last of her strength, managed to get into a sitting position. Opening her eyes again, she let out a quiet gasp.
She was in the middle of a frozen river.
She stayed put, knowing it was the best option if she didn't want to break the ice beneath her. "Help me..." she weakly whispered, "please."
But it was pointless, she began to close her eyes with defeat-
"Goldie!"
At the familiar voice, she frantically looked around. And in all her life, has never been relieved of seeing three bears.
"I'm here! Over here!"
And the three bears looked at her direction.
"Goodness..." Mama whispered
Papa gulped and stepped forward. "Look...honey, we need you to gently crawl over here, okay? Do you think you can do that?"
When the girl didn't move, Mama shook her head. "She can't understand us, remember? At least not fully well yet."
"Well, we have to do something!" Papa said frantically, then narrowed his eyes. "Huh, since when has our cub been in the ice?"
"What?" Mama looked back at the frozen lake, and let out a roar of terror as she saw what he meant. "Baby! Get back here! Now!"
Papa shushed her. "Wait wait wait wait, I think he's got this."
Mama gritted her teeth with anxiousness as Baby slowly made his way towards the girl. When he got to his destination, he roared for her to grab onto him. Gulping, she did, and soon the two kids crawled their way back onto land.
When she was sure they were close enough, Mama grabbed the girl by her dress and brought her behind her and into safety once again. Papa began to try to warm her up.
Now it was Baby's turn, he gave a nervous sound before jumping into land-
-and missed. He crashed through the ice and vanished into the darkness of the water.
"BABY!" Mama shriked.
And without thinking about it, Elizabeth dove back into the ice and into the same hole.
Cold.
That was everything she seemed to know of life for a few seconds, but she shook out of it and looked for a familiar body.
It was hard to with the dark water, but finally, she thought she saw a blurr of fluffiness.
She swam towards it, and after snatching a bundle of fur, looked for the hole, which she thankfully found instantly and swam and headed towards it.

Mama and Papa held their breath. Every sense but sight forgotten.
They managed to breathe again as they saw the girl come out of the ice and with their cub on her arms. At once, the adult bears grabbed their cubs.
Elizabeth felt better when one of the big bears started nuzzling her, but when she saw their cub still with his eyes closed and not moving, she quickly ran to him.
He was barely moving, and he felt very cold.
She hugged him.
For the rest of the night, they had stayed outside.
