DO NOT TOUCH MY STUDENT
Sibella was flying around the area in her bat form looking for her master.
-Where is he?.- Sibella wondered.
Suddenly she heard a noise coming from the forest. The sound was like a fight taking place.
-What was that?.- Sibella asked.
She flew in the direction where that sound came from. She thought that something dangerous was happening there and with her master missing she didn't want Marcus to get hurt.
In the forest Marcus was doing badly in the fight. Camellia had the advantage in the area with her power to control plants. She made the vines move to attack Marcus. He defended himself by casting spell after spell but it was like fighting against the entire forest, and he was already tired. Exhausted, he went to hide behind a tree.
-Come out of wherever you are.- Camellia said.
She was enjoying this as if she were a cat hunting a mouse. Marcus had to think about how he could get out of this?.
-Damn!. I'm doing badly in this fight.- Marcus said.
He tried to calm down and think about what he could do. Then it occurred to him that the power of fire from his ghost pirate form could defeat Camellia.
- Maybe with Kidd's power I can defeat her?.- Marcus said to himself.
When he was about to change form he heard a voice coming from near where he was.
- Master. Where is she?.- Sibella asked.
Marcus recognized that the voice was from his student.
- Sibella? What is she doing here?.- Marcus wondered.
His student was in great danger if she came any closer to where he was.
- Master. Is she around here?.- Sibella asked.
To Marcus's horror, Camellia had heard Sibella.
- What is that?.- Camellia asked.
Camellia walked towards where the voice came from. Before eliminating Marcus she could have fun with a younger victim. Marcus couldn't allow her to lay her hands on his student, so he ran to where Sibella was without Camellia seeing him.
-This is where all that noise was coming from.- Sibella said.
As she searched around she came across the worst person possible.
-Hello little girl. Are you lost?.- Camellia asked.
Sibella was surprised to find another monster in this forest.
-Who are you ma'am?.- Sibella asked.
-Me? I'm Camellia, let me help you.- Camellia replied.
Sibella didn't like the vibes this girl was giving off. Her vampire instincts were telling her she was in danger. The closer Camellia got, Sibella started to back away.
-Don't get close to me!.- Sibella said.
Before she could get any closer, Marcus appears to protect his student.
-Don't get close to her!.- Marcus said.
-Wow, you finally show up. I was thinking of entertaining myself with this girl until you came out.- Camellia said.
-Stay behind me.- Marcus said.
-Who are you?.- Sibella asked.
Being in her witch form Sibella did not recognize Marcus. Taking advantage of the opening Camellia attacked Marcus with some seeds that came out at full speed from her hand but Marcus saw the attack coming, and used a force field with his magic to protect himself and Sibella.
-Go hide.- Marcus said.
Sibella listened to him and went to hide behind a tree. Since she saw that he protected her she thought she could trust him. Once her student was safe Marcus went to attack Camellia. The battle became a hand-to-hand fight. Sibella saw everything from behind a tree. When she heard the witch's voice and saw him closer, he seemed familiar.
-Master?.- Sibella asked.
Sibella realized that this mysterious man was her teacher but, why did he look like that? Was he not a human? And what is he doing fighting against this monster? Sibella thought as she watched all of that.
Between the punches, kicks, blocks, and dodges. They began to launch magic and plant attacks. Marcus noticed that Sibella was watching them from behind a tree, and Camellia noticed that Marcus was looking at Sibella.
-Do you care about that girl?- Camellia asked.
As she asked him that, Camellia noticed Marcus' reaction. He cared about that girl and she was going to use that weakness against him. She pointed at Sibella and threw some thorns that came out of her body but she went to protect her student. She blocked the attacks with her staff but she couldn't block them all. A thorn was inserted into Marcus' shoulder, hurting him.
-AH!.- Marcus screamed in pain.
Sibella approached him seeing that he had been hurt.
-Are you okay master?.- Sibella asked.
Marcus noticed that Sibella had called him "master" his secret identity had been discovered. Camellia took advantage of the fact that they were distracted to tie them both up with her vines. She had them trapped and hanging.
-You let your guard down.- Camellia said.
Marcus had been caught and what's worse he had let his student get caught. He had to find a way to save at least Sibella.
-Now let's see, how am I going to finish you off, witch?.- Camellia said.
She enjoyed having them at her mercy. Sibella was starting to get angry. Not only did she want to hurt her, but she also hurt her master and now she had him and her hanging from a tree.
-Hey, leave him alone! Who do you think you are?.- Sibella said.
Camellia got angry when she heard what Sibella said.
- It seems that you want me to kill you first, little girl.- Camellia said.
Sibella's attitude was brave but foolish. Marcus was not going to let them hurt his student.
- Leave her! It's me you want!.- Marcus said.
Camellia left Sibella and went to Marcus.
- Well, this is how I'm going to be as she sees fit, how I'm slowly strangling you.- Camellia said.
The vines that held Marcus began to tighten more and more. Sibella could only watch as that monster killed her teacher. He had already protected her twice and she didn't want him to die for her. She had found a good teacher and she wasn't going to lose him. She was a vampire and the daughter of Dracula himself. Her father would be ashamed of her if he knew that she let a human protect her. Then her eyes turned red and she showed her fangs.
-Ashhhh!.- Sibella growled.
With her vampire powers she summoned a horde of bats to attack Camellia.
-What is this?!. Get out of the way!.- Camellia screamed.
Marcus took advantage of the bats distracting Camellia to change into the form that could defeat her.
-PHANTOM PIRATE TRANSFORMATION!.- Marcus shouted.
A light of energy enveloped his body and he changed into his pirate form. He used the power of his blue flames to burn the vines that held him. Sibella was amazed to see Marcus. Once free she pointed her sword at Camellia.
-DON'T TOUCH MY STUDENT!.- Marcus shouted.
Marcus attacked Camellia. He gave her several Cortés with his sword. Camellia tried to defend herself with her power but it was useless before the power of Marcus' flames. Camellia was already tired, it was time to give her the final blow. Marcus channeled his power to his sword and prepared to attack.
-BURNING CROSS!.- Marcus shouted.
Once he said the name of his attack, some flames in the shape of an X hit Camellia.
-Aaaaaaahhhh!.- Camellia screamed.
The flames engulfed Camellia's body, causing her to fall to the ground defeated. The fight was over and another monster had fallen.
-Sibella, I'm going to get you out!.- Marcus said.
-Yes, please!.- Sibella said.
He launched a fire slash to free her from the vines. The vines were cut, and Sibella fell to the ground but Marcus caught her in his arms.
-Are you okay?- Marcus asked.
-Yes, I'm okay.- Sibella said.
Marcus was relieved to know that his student would be okay.
-Master Marcus, is it really you?.- Sibella asked.
Marcus had forgotten that Sibella had discovered his identity. Given the circumstances, he thought it best to tell the truth. He returned to his normal form to show her that he is him.
-Yes Sibella. It's me Marcus.- Marcus said.
Sibella was confused, she didn't understand how Marcus could change form. -But...how?.- Sibella asked.
-There will be time for explanations but first I need to do something.- Marcus answered.
Marcus prepared to separate the monster's soul from Camellia's body but when he turned to see where it had fallen, Camellia had disappeared.
-She's not there.- Marcus said.
He didn't understand what was happening. Camellia's body was too weak to move but then, where had it gone?.
-Master, over here! I looked at that.- Sibella said.
He walked over to see and saw some werewolf-like footprints that weren't there before. While they were distracted someone took Camellia and left. Marcus had no idea who it could have been but now the priority was to escort Sibella back to school.
-Sibella wait a moment. I have to make a call.- Marcus said.
He took out his cell phone and called Alador.
-Hey Alador, this is Marcus.- Marcus said.
-Hey Marcus. Were you able to defeat the possessed one?.- Alador asked.
-Yes, I was able to defeat it but I couldn't get the monster's soul into the staff. Someone took it.- Marcus answered.
-You have no idea who it could have been?.- Alador asked.
-No, but now we have another problem. Sibella saw my fight with the possessed one. She already knows.- Marcus answered.
-Uhhhhh. I think it's time I had a talk with Dracula's daughter. Take her to see me tomorrow.- Alador said.
-Okay, but I hope you make her do something dangerous. Bye.- Marcus said.
He said that and hung up.
-How is your shoulder?.- Sibella asked.
-It's still a little sore but tomorrow I'll go see Alador to get cured.- Marcus answered.
-So. What was all that about?.- Marcus asked.
Now that Sibella knew his identity. He felt it was time to be honest and tell her part of the story.
-That thing I was fighting is called "Possessed" it's what humans who are possessed by monster spirits are called. When they are possessed they turn into monsters causing disasters wherever they go, that's why Alador calls me when one appears. He used my powers to defeat them and this magic staff to separate the monster's soul from its body, returning it to normal.- Marcus explained.
-Amazing! You're like a superhero.- Sibella said.
-No, I'm not a superhero. I'm just a teacher.- Marcus said.
-My teacher is a superhero! I can't wait to tell the others.- Sibella said.
-No! The best thing for now is that we keep it between us.- Marcus said.
Sibella didn't know why, but if Marcus said it, she was fine with it. With that, the two of them set off back to Grimwood.
-By the way, teacher. What was that "Fire Cross" thing?.- Sibella asked.
-Don't you know that great warriors give cool names to their attacks?- Marcus asked.
-No.- Sibella answered.
Elsewhere in a dark, scary cave shaped like a skull's mouth. A werewolf with blue fur, yellow eyes, a black shirt, a red scarf tied around his neck, and light blue pants. He was carrying Camellia's unconscious body into the cave.
-Mistress, I'm here.- Said the werewolf.
From the darkness of the cave appeared a giant spider monster woman, she was half woman on top and the bottom half was the body of a spider, her skin was white, and her face was horrible.
The werewolf threw Camellia's unconscious body at her.
-This radical of nature failed in the task you gave her.- Said the werewolf.
From the lake that was in the cave came out a fish man. His skin was dark green, black stripes on his body, a shark fin on his back, and sharp teeth. His clothes were black shorts with a yellow belt, a black scarf tied around his head, and he wore sandals.
-Another failure?- Asked the fish man.
On the other side of the cave appeared a troll. He was bigger and more muscular than the werewolf, his skin was gray, two horns next to his mouth and he was only wearing brown torn shorts.
-There should be real monsters like us and not those humans who think they are, just because they are possessed by one.- Said the troll.
Camellia woke up and saw that she was in a cave, and even worse that in front of her was a monster spider.
-I gave you that power so that you could punish those who hurt nature as you asked. In exchange all I wanted was for you to get rid of that nuisance. And you couldn't do it!.- Said the monster spider.
Camellia got on her knees and began to beg.
-Please love me another chance.- Camellia begged.
-No!.- Said the spider monster.
The spider monster grabbed Camellia and ate her while she screamed.
-If they are not useful to do what I ask of them at least they will serve as food to recover my strength.- Said the spider monster.
The spider monster didn't seem to mind killing one of her own if it benefited her. She was extremely evil.
-What do we do with that meddling human?- Asked the werewolf.
-Does he want us to get rid of him?- Asked the troll.
-No. Before attacking him, we'll attack his heart. We'll go for who he loves the most.- Said the spider monster.
-The girls from that school called Grimwood?.- Asked the fish man.
-Exactly. When there's no one in my way, I'll be Tirannica the spider queen. I'll regain my true form, open the door to the underworld, and conquer the world.- Tirannica.
Back in Grimwood Marcus and Sibella had arrived. The other girls were waiting for them sitting on the stairs.
-Wow, they're finally here- Said Winnie.
-Why the delay?.- Asked Ghost.
-Oh, sorry, I got lost while jogging and Sibella had to find me- He lied.
-And that's how you want to be a teacher?- Asked Winnie.
Sibella was going to say something about Winnie's comment but Marcus stopped her.
-I'm so sorry as your teacher, it's a shameful act, to see me lost and leave you alone. Please forgive me.- Marcus said.
Marcus bowed in front of the girls in apology (like the Japanese do). The girls thought it wasn't that bad but when they saw Marcus they decided to forgive him.
-Of course. No problem.- Elsa said.
-Yes, it's normal to get lost on your first day here.- Tanis said.
-Thank you girls.- Marcus said.
Once the matter was settled, everyone went inside. Class was over, the monster defeated and the girls saved. Everything was going well in Grimwood... for now.
Meanwhile in Alador Castle. He was meditating on what happened today in his chair, when his daughter Amelia comes in.
-Dad. The spirits that are in the library want to see you.- Amelia said.
-Thank you daughter. I'm on my way.- Alador said.
He went to the library and there were the spirits of five female monsters floating in the air. A vampire, a werewolf, a mummy, a Frankenstein-like woman and a ghost woman were the spirits that were there.
-So? What can I do for you ladies?- Alador asked.
