THE FIRST HEROINE
Sibella was running down the hall. She had to hurry to get the power she needed to save her teacher and her friends. After so much running she had finally reached the library door.
-Well, this is it.- Sibella said.
At school Marcus was badly injured by the cut the Reaper gave him.
-I cut you in the back. Where do you want me to be next?.- The Reaper asked.
The Reaper was approaching Marcus. Marcus was in pain and couldn't move very well. If he wanted to beat his opponent he had to change form to one more suitable for hand-to-hand combat.
-BLACK KNIGHT TRANSFORMATION.- Marcus shouted.
A light of energy surrounded Marcus' body, turning him into the black knight. The girls and the director were amazed to see that. The guy who was once a witch had become a black knight.
-Did you see that?.- Elsa asked.
-Yes. That man changed form.- Ghost answered.
Although Marcus had changed form he was still hurt, but his fighting spirit was still strong. He stood on guard to continue the fight. His students were behind him and he was not going to let that monster take another step.
-Stay behind me. I will protect you.- Marcus said.
The girls did not understand why that strange man was trying to protect them.
-Who are you?.- Winnie asked.
Marcus did not answer her so as not to risk being discovered.
-Once I get rid of you, I will take those girls.- The Reaper said.
-Over my dead body.- Marcus said.
They began to fight again, this time it was a combat with weapons. Marcus fought the best he could while injured. Luckily the form of the black knight gave him more protection and more strength, but he did not know if that was enough to defeat his opponent.
In Alador Castle. Sibella had already entered the library.
-Hello. Is there a spirit here?.- Sibella asked.
She was looking around to see if there was a spirit. When she looked up, she saw 5 female spirits floating in the air. She was a little scared when she saw them but then she called them to help her.
-Excuse me ladies! Down here!.- Sibella raised her voice.
The spirits heard her and looked down to see who was there.
-I need your help, please!.- Sibella raised her voice.
One of the spirits came down to see her up close. It was the vampire spirit.
-Hello little girl. How can I help you?.- The vampire spirit asked.
-My friends are in danger, I need you to...- Sibella was interrupted.
- You must first introduce yourself before talking to anyone. Are there no manners in this day and age?.- The vampire spirit said.
- My name is Sibella. I need your...-. Sibella was interrupted, again.
- Hello Sibella. My name is Drusilla.- Drusilla said.
- Hello Drusilla. Nice to meet you...- Sibella was interrupted again.
- How can I help you?.- Drusilla asked.
Sibella's eye was shaking. This woman was driving her crazy. She decided to speak quickly so as not to be interrupted.
- I need you to lend me your power to save my master and my friends from a possessed person who is trying to kill them.- Sibella spoke quickly.
- Why do you want me to lend you my power?.- Drusilla asked.
-I already told you to...- Sibella was interrupted.
-What are you going to be after saving them?.- Drusilla asked.
-What?.- Drusilla asked.
-You only want my power to save your friends? What about the other people who are victims of those monsters? You don't care about them?.- Drusilla asked.
-No...me.- Sibella said.
Sibella didn't know what to say. She wanted to save her friends but there were also other people who needed to be saved. It wasn't going to end after saving them. She also didn't know when those monsters were going to stop. She would have to fight everyone who came for her friends. She thought about it carefully, remembering all the moments she lived in Grimwood with her friends and her teacher. Remembering that she came to an answer.
-I want the power to save my friends. I want to be by Professor Marcus' side so that I don't fight those things alone. I want to be a heroine who saves people from those monsters.- Sibella said.
- Good answer.- Drusilla said.
Drusilla and Sibella joined their hands. That made Drusilla's spirit merge with Sibella. When they did, a light was produced that illuminated the whole place. When the process was over, Sibella felt a power running through her entire body.
- Good. Here I go.- Sibella said.
She left the library and headed towards where Alador was. The other spirits saw what happened and were glad that their companion had left with that girl.
- Wow, she's finally gone. She was so annoying.- One of the spirits said.
Alador was watching Marcus' fight in the crystal ball.
- Damn! Is there nothing else that can be done?.- Alador said.
When he thought that nothing could be done anymore, Sibella appeared behind him.
- Take me there.- Sibella said.
In Grimwood, Marcus was getting weaker and weaker. He kept fighting the possessed man but his movements were slow. He attacked and blocked as best he could but fatigue had caught up with him. His opponent seeing him off guard kicked him in the stomach, bringing him to his knees.
-Ha! That's the best you got?.- The Reaper asked.
Marcus tried to use his sword to stand up but couldn't.
-Damn it. Let's stand up.- Marcus told himself.
-A useless effort. You're finished.- The Reaper said.
The Reaper pointed his scythe at Marcus. He was ready to give him the final blow. Miss Grimwood seeing what was coming put the girls behind her to protect them. Marcus cursed his helplessness, he was supposed to protect the girls but he had failed. Just when he thought it was the end, Sibella appeared just in time.
-Hey you!. Stay away from my friends! - Sibella said.
Everyone saw that Sibella had arrived.
-Who are you girl?-. The Reaper asked.
-Sibella?.- Marcus asked.
-I will be your opponent now!.- Sibella said.
The Reaper was amused by what Sibella said.
-So yes, huh? Wait here, your turn will come later.- The Reaper said.
He walked towards Sibella. Marcus and the others tried to warn her to run.
-Sibella girl! What are you doing.! - Miss Grimwood said.
-Stay away from him! He's going to kill you!.- Marcus said.
-Don't do anything crazy girl!.- Winnie said.
Sibella didn't move, she remained firm. She was no longer the same as before.
-If you behave well I will take you without a scratch.- The Reaper said.
-No thanks, I prefer to beat you here and now.- Sibella said.
-And what can you do?.- The Reaper asked.
-Now you'll see.- Sibella answered.
Sibella took a breath, closed her eyes and concentrated. Then she opened them and with all her strength she said.
-TRANSFORMATION!.- Sibella shouted.
A light of energy surrounded Sibella's body. She looked different now. Her body was bigger, she wore a black cape, a blood red skirt, a white rococo-style shirt, a Victorian-style red Ascot tie on her neck and bracelets in the shape of bat wings on her wrists. She had become a heroine.
-What? They didn't tell me that you could also transform.- Said the Reaper.
The others were amazed to see Sibella.
-Sibella.- Said Marcus.
-I didn't know Sibella could do that.- Said Tanis.
-What's going on? First the weird guy and now Sibella.- Said Winnie.
The girls were confused. They wondered if Sibella could always do that. The Reaper was not intimidated, although he had transformation powers his opponent was still a girl.
-Don't think too much just because you can transform. I am the Reaper and there is no prey that escapes me.- Said the Reaper.
-Come to my Reaper. You will know what Dracula's daughter is capable of.- Said Sibella.
The Reaper had become angry, he squeezed his scythe tightly and attacked her. Sibella, seeing that the Reaper was coming towards her, activated her power. Her cape turned into a pair of bat wings and she flew away.
-What?.- The Reaper asked.
Sibella summoned a sword in her hand and flew at her opponent at full speed. She gave him a direct slash, flying and cutting him at incredible speed. Then she put her feet on the ground and stabbed him. Her powers gave them more strength and speed. She was dominating the fight. The Reaper felt humiliated knowing that a girl was cornering him.
-I'm not going to lose to a girl!.- The Reaper said.
The Reaper began to counterattack furiously towards Sibella. She defended herself but it was a little difficult for her.
-Sibella. Be careful!.- Miss Grimwood said.
-Come on baby. Kick his ass!.- Ghost said.
-Isn't there something we can do?.- Tanis asked.
Marcus thought about what he could do and something occurred to him.
-Is that all? What happened to your energy from before?.- The Reaper asked.
He attacked Sibella while she blocked his attacks.
-You haven't seen anything yet.- Sibella replied.
She hypnotized the Reaper with her gaze. With his new form his vampiric powers were now stronger. The Reaper was in a trance and Sibella took advantage to give him a cut.
-AH! Brat!.- The Reaper said angrily.
In his fury he hit Sibella causing her to trip and fall to the floor.
-Sibella!.- The girls shouted.
When the Reaper was going to cut Sibella, he was shot in the back. The shot came from Marcus, who when no one saw him took the opportunity to change to his cowboy form.
-Now Sibella!.- Marcus said.
-Thank you master!.- Sibella said.
With her opponent badly wounded, Sibella prepared to give him the final blow. She channeled her energy into her sword, made a circle in the air and prepared to attack.
-BLOODY CUT!.- Sibella shouted.
Once she said the name of her attack, she went at full speed towards the Reaper, giving him a powerful cut.
-A girl. A girl beat me.- The Reaper said.
The Reaper fell to the ground defeated. The fight was over and Sibella had won.
-UJUUU!. YES!.- The girls celebrated.
Sibella returned to her normal form and her friends ran towards her to hug her and congratulate her.
-Gosh girl that was amazing!.- Elsa said.
-You gave him a good beating.- Winnie said making fighting movements in the air.
-You flew through the air with a sword.- Ghost said making sword movements.
-Now you are a heroine?.- Tanis asked.
Sibella was happy that her friends were okay but she saw that her teacher was injured from the battle.
-Sir are you okay sir?.- Miss Grimwood asked.
Sibella went to help her teacher. She supported him on her shoulder to help him walk.
-Are you okay?.- Sibella asked.
-Yes I am fine. Thank you.- Marcus answered.
In reality he was not feeling well but he did not want his student to worry.
-There is still one thing left to do. Sibella take me to him.- Marcus said.
Sibella took Marcus to where the Reaper was lying. The girls saw how their friend helped the guy who tried to protect them.
-Come to me soul splitter!.- Marcus said.
The soul-splitting staff appeared in Marcus' hand. He removed the spirit of the monster that was inside the Reaper, returning him to his human form. The girls saw everything that happened. The monster that wanted to take them was now a human. They were confused, they didn't understand what was happening.
-Look, he turned into a human.- Tanis said.
-That guy turned him into a human.- Ghost said.
-Can someone tell me what's going on?.- Winnie said.
Marcus felt that it was time to tell his students the whole truth. If the possessed were after them, they had the right to know what was going on. He approached them and returned to his normal form.
-You!.- Winnie said.
-Professor Marcus?.- Miss Grimwood asked.
The girls couldn't believe that the guy who changed shape was their gym teacher.
-There will be time for me to explain but first we have to call the police to take the guy who is lying behind.- Marcus said.
Elsewhere, in the spider queen's lair. Through her little arachnid spies she had learned that the possessed man sent to bring the Grimwoods had failed and she was furious.
- Fenrir! The guy you chose has failed!.- Tirannica said.
-I'm so sorry. Please give me another chance.- Fenrir said.
He was begging her on his knees but the spider queen was not one to give second chances.
-Why don't you give him another chance, mistress?.- The fish man asked.
-Doby is silent!.- Tirannica said.
-Give him a chance to redeem himself.- Said the troll.
-Grogg.- Said Fenrir.
Fenrir's friends didn't want Tirannica to eat him for failing.
-What if he were to personally bring you those girls?.- Asked Grogg.
-You don't lose anything.- Said Doby.
The spider queen thought about her suggestion. Her servant was strong, he could bring her the girls or at least get rid of Fenrir.
-Okay. Fenrir go bring me the girls from Grimwood and don't come back until you've done it.- Said Tirannica.
-At your service.- Said Fenrir.
Fenrir left the cave and headed in the direction of Grimwood.
Back in Grimwood. The police had arrived and they already had the guy who was possessed in a patrol car. Marcus and Miss Grimwood were talking to a policeman.
-We were already looking for that guy a while ago for murder.- Said the policeman.
-Good thing you're taking him away, officer.- Miss Grimwood said.
-Do you have any idea what he wanted with you?.- The officer asked.
-No idea, officer.- Marcus answered.
The officer looked at Marcus and his students who were standing behind him.
-Okay. If something happens again, call us.- The policeman said.
-Understood. Bye, officer.- Miss Grimwood said.
The officer returned to his patrol car but before that he turned to see the Grimwood girls who were waving at him.
-Phenomena.- Said the officer.
The policeman entered his patrol car and left.
-Well. Now that everything is over, I think someone owes us an explanation?.- Said Miss Grimwood.
-Yes, explain yourself.- Said Winnie.
-Ok. Let's all go inside first.- Said Marcus.
Once inside Marcus told them everything. What the possessed were, about their powers, their relationship with Alador, everything. The girls tried to process all the information they just received.
-So. What you're saying is that you're some kind of shape-shifting superhero?.- Asked Ghost.
-And that you save the world by fighting against those things called possessed?.- Asked Elsa.
-Yes. I wouldn't put it that way but yes.- Answered Marcus.
-Sibella is also a heroine?.- Asked Tanis.
-You're too young to be a heroine.- Said Miss Grimwood.
-Calm down Miss Grimwood, I have everything under control.- Sibella said.
-Speaking of which, I'd like to talk to you about those powers you got.- Marcus said.
-"Under control?".- Winnie asked.
Winnie hit the table.
-Nothing is under control! There are monsters coming for us and it's all because of that guy! And the worst thing is that he involved Sibella in all this!.- Winnie said.
-No. I didn't want...- Marcus was going to say something but was interrupted by Sibella.
-Professor Marcus didn't involve me in anything. I made the decision to fight by his side.- Sibella said.
-Well, you wouldn't have had to make that decision if he had never come here.- Winnie said.
What Winnie said was partly true. The possessed began to appear when he arrived. They began to think, that maybe it would have been better if I had never come to Grimwood? Marcus, upon hearing what Winnie said, knelt down in apology in front of the girls.
-I'm so sorry! I can't change what's already done, but I can promise that I will protect you all even if it costs me my life! - Marcus said.
The girls, upon seeing Marcus, thought things over again.
-Professor Marcus risked his life to protect us from the Reaper. - Tanis said.
-If you hadn't come, I don't know what would have happened to my girls? I thank you. - Miss Grimwood said.
-You looked great fighting like a knight in armor.- Ghost said.
-You were just trying to take care of us.- Elsa said.
Sibella went to pick Marcus up.
-We're all lucky to have you.- Sibella said.
-Girls. Thank you.- Marcus said.
Marcus was touched that his students see him that way, except Winnie who was still skeptical.
-Well, I still don't accept it.- Winnie said.
Winnie left the table and went up to her room. Marcus followed her to talk to her.
-Winnie wait.- Marcus said.
-I'm not going to accept you as my teacher.- Winnie said.
Winnie went into her room. Marcus felt sad that things had ended like this. Although he and Sibella saved them all. He had lost the trust of one of his students.
