In Transylvania. A place located in the Central Region of Romania was the headquarters of "The Society of Ghosts, Specters and Retired Spirits of Transylvania". The headquarters was a castle. It was nighttime in that region. Inside the castle a meeting was taking place. In that meeting there was a television turned on. The news channel was on. They were talking about what happened in the city of Winchester.

-I'm Samantha O'Donnell reporting. 2 weeks ago the city of Winchester was attacked by an army of spider monsters.- Samantha O'Donnell said.

They showed images of the attack.

-These citizens believed they were lost to this threat but in their darkest moment 6 mysterious heroes appeared who saved everyone.- Samantha O'Donnell said.

They showed images of the Grimwood ghoul squad.

-We are at the place where everything happened. Now we'll hear some people's opinions.- Samantha O'Donnell said.

-When I saw them I got scared. I mean, they were monsters. I thought they were coming to attack us too but they ended up saving us. I thank them whoever they are.- A fat man said.

-The vampire girl was very pretty. If you're watching this, thank you for saving me Mr. Vampire.- A little girl said.

-They were awesome. The coolest thing I've ever seen. These hero monsters are the coolest.- A teenager said.

-There you have it. Nobody knows who these heroines were and where they came from but wherever they are, let's hope they're taking care of us. I'm Samantha O'Donnell and this was the news from channel 5.- Samantha O'Donnell said.

The TV was turned off. There was a clear view of who was at the meeting. There was Dracula, The Wolf Man, The Mummy, Frankenstein and Ghost Dad. The parents of the Grimwood girls. There was also Alador there with the parents. They were all sitting at a large table.

-I already know who these mysterious heroines are. They are our daughters.- Dracula said.

Dracula had purple skin. He wore a black, white and dark red evening gown with a gold medallion around his neck and a black and red cape. He was the president of the society. They had found out what his daughters were doing.

-How could your master allow this?.- The Wolf Man asked.

The Wolf Man had brown fur with a darker brown mane. He also has 4 large incisors, two on the top and two on the bottom of his mouth. His eyes are yellow and his ears are wolf-like. Four clawed fingers on each hand and his tongue is pink.

-Marcus should not be blamed for this.- Alador said.

-And who else should we blame? He will pay for putting my precious daughter in danger.- Frankenstein said.

Frankenstein looked just like he does in the movies and books. Except his skin was skin-colored.

-We should go to Grimwood to have a talk with his new master.- Dracula said.

-They won't hurt him, right?.- Alador asked.

-Hurt him?... I want to kill him!.- The Mummy said.

The mummy's body was all covered in white bandages.

-When I saw my little Tanis fight those things, I felt like I was going to die of a heart attack.- Ghost Dad said.

Ghost Dad had blue skin. He wore a black and red hat and a black trench coat. His body ended with a ghost tail.

-The other two teachers who used to be the gym teachers were crazy but they would never have put my daughter in danger.- Dracula said.

-Aren't there three?.- The Wolf Man asked.

-Three?.- Dracula asked.

-Yes, there was one who was short.- The Mummy replied.

-Oh, right. I had completely forgotten about him (Like everyone else).- Said Dracula.

-Anyway. Gentlemen. I propose that we take our daughters out of that school and bring them home.- Said Dracula.

-Good idea. I'm not going to let my Elsa go around taking heroin.- Said Frankenstein.

-Wait a minute! We're rushing things. I know you're worried about your daughters but separating them isn't a solution.- Said Alador.

-Ghost would be very sad if she couldn't see her friends anymore. I don't want to see her sad but I don't want to see her in danger either.- Said Papa Ghost.

-Alador. You only say that because your daughter isn't there fighting against the possessed.- Said Dracula.

-Yes. Your daughter was the only one you didn't give powers to.- Said The Wolf Man.

-By the way. You should have consulted us before giving our daughters a spirit.- Frankenstein said.

-You are as guilty as that teacher.- The Mummy said.

-I gave them a spirit because their daughters have great potential. They were the ones to save the world from the spider queen. Besides, my daughter is not the target of the spider queen. There was no reason to give her a spirit.- Alador said.

-So what? I can protect my daughter.- Dracula said.

-Dracula. You are strong but not even you could against the spider queen.- Alador said.

-And that human, yes!?.- Dracula asked.

-Of all the guardians you could select for our daughters, it had to be a human.- The Wolf Man said.

-Humans are weak.- Frankenstein said.

-What's so special about that human?.- The Mummy asked.

-I'm curious, Alador. Why did you choose him?.- Ghost Dad asked.

Alador was silent for a moment, thinking about his answer.

"Because I saw in Marcus something that every good Guardian needs. Determination." Alador replied.

-Determination? That's why you chose him?- The Wolf Man asked.

-Marcus is more capable than you think. He and the girls have defeated every possessed they've encountered. I know I made the right decision in choosing him. I trust him. Please, I ask that you trust him too.- Alador said.

Dracula stood up.

-Well. Since you trust that human so much. You won't mind if I test him, right?- Dracula asked.

-Yes. Trust is earned. I'll test him too.- The Wolf Man said.

-If he wants to take care of Elsa, he'll have to pass my test.- Frankenstein said.

-My test will be the hardest of all.- The Mummy said.

-I want to be sure that I'll leave Ghost with the right person. I'm in. I'll test him.- Papa Ghost said.

-Well, it's decided. Tomorrow is the parent meeting. We'll all go to Grimwood to meet the new teacher.- Dracula said.

- Hehehe.- The five of them laughed.

A malicious aura emanated from them.

- Marcus be careful.- Alador's thoughts.

In Grimwood. Marcus was exercising with the girls. He suddenly got the chills.

-Why did he get the chills?.- Tanis asked.

-Hey Tanis, I don't know.- Marcus answered.

Is it a sign that something is coming?

The next day in Grimwood. Everyone was making preparations for the parents' meeting.

Miss Grimwood was baking cookies, Matches was lighting the fireplace with his fire, Sibella was setting up the decorations, Winnie was setting the table, Tanis was wrapping presents, Elsa was setting out the snacks, Ghost was catching vermin for dinner and Marcus was trying on an outfit he bought for the meeting.

-How do I look?.- Marcus asked.

-You look good, Professor.- Sibella replied.

-Good. I want to make a good impression.- Marcus said.

Marcus was a little nervous about the meeting. He wanted everything to go well, when he met the girls' parents. They weren't ordinary parents, they were the most famous monsters in the world. He got along well with his students because they were children but with them who were adults. He didn't know if they would get along. He got along well with Alador who was an adult but they had started off on the wrong foot. Who knows how he will start with the girls' parents. Marcus sat down on the couch.

-Sibella. One question. What are they like?.- Marcus asked.

Sibella sat next to Marcus.

-The only thing I know about his parents is what I've seen in movies and on TV. You know them better. Tell me, what are they like?.- Marcus asked.

-Oh, don't worry about that. My father is a sweetheart. Of course, he wasn't always like that. Before, he had earned the reputation of being feared by everyone, but after meeting my mother and having me, he changed. Now he's retired. Nowadays he's dedicated to helping the monster community.- Sibella answered.

-Really?.- Marcus asked.

-Of course. My dad always tells me: "Be better than me, daughter." "Don't make the same mistakes I did." "I'm tired of being feared by everyone." "Do good." "Be a good girl."- Sibella answered.

-Wow. What good advice.- Marcus said.

Winnie sat next to Marcus.

-I want you to meet my father, Professor.- Winnie said.

-What is he like?.- Marcus asked.

-He's pretty friendly. You've had your thing in the past but it's been a long time since he gave in to someone.- Winnie answered.

-What?!.- Marcus asked.

-I was just joking (Giggles).- Winnie answered.

-Oh. I believed it for a moment.- Marcus said.

Tanis sat next to Marcus.

-My dad is always very good to me. He used to brush my hair and read me a story before bed.- Tanis said.

Elsa sat next to Marcus.

-My dad is also a good person. People don't understand him and sometimes they make up stories about him.- Elsa said.

Ghost stood next to Marcus.

-Dad gets along with everyone. He'll like you.- Ghost said.

Marcus calmed down when he heard that. Apparently there would be no problem getting along with the girls' parents, but there was another problem.

-Good. That solves one problem, but there is another. How do we tell their parents about their new powers and what we've been doing?.- Marcus asked.

The girls were silent for a while.

-About that... we've been talking...and we think it's better not to mention that matter.- Sibella answered.

-What?.- Marcus asked.

-Yes, my dad would go crazy if he knew I've been fighting humans turned into monsters.- Winnie said.

-Don't you think they already know? We appeared on television.- Marcus said.

-Our parents don't watch television and we were also transformed.- Tanis said.

-I don't think they would have recognized us like that.- Elsa said.

-Yeah, but lying to their parents?.- Marcus asked.

-Hey, trust us. We're doing this for you.- Ghost said.

-For me?.- Marcus asked.

-Dad...how do I put it?...he can be a little overprotective sometimes.- Sibella said.

-What Sibella is trying to say is that if our parents find out that you've let us do dangerous things they will cut you into pieces.- Winnie said.

-What!?.- Marcus asked.

-Winnie!.- Sibella said.

-What? You know I'm right, that's why we never told them that an evil witch kidnapped us. They would have killed Professor Shaggy and Professor Scooby.- Winnie said.

-But they saved us.- Sibella said.

-But they allowed it to happen. For our parents that's enough.- Winnie said.

It seemed that the parents' meeting was going to be harder than Marcus thought. Still, he had to be honest.

-I'm sorry, girls. As your teacher, I can't hide things from your parents.- Marcus said.

Miss Grimwood joined the conversation.

-Marcus is right. I don't plan on lying to your parents either.- Miss Grimwood said.

-Miss Grimwood. Do you want him killed?.- Winnie asked.

-No, Winnie. It's decided. Tonight we'll tell you the whole truth. Besides, I'm not afraid of your parents.- Marcus said.

-Then why are you shaking?.- Winnie asked.

Marcus was shaking with fear.

-Me?. Shaking?. Don't say ridiculous things. I'm just excited.- Marcus answered.

He wasn't afraid of fighting the possessed but meeting his students' parents gave him goosebumps.

The night had come. There were no stars in the sky because they were covered by clouds. The wind blew hard. The nocturnal animals kept making noise. As if something scared them. From between the shadows you could see 5 figures heading towards Grimwood. They were the girls' parents, who had already arrived.

-Did you remember to pay the taxi driver?.- The Wolf Man asked.

-Yes. I paid him.- Frankenstein answered.

-Did you come by taxi?.- Dracula asked.

-Not all of us can fly.- The Wolf Man answered.

Dracula had traveled transformed into a bat.

-I gave him a tip.- The Mummy said.

-He was such a kind man. He had no problem with us being monsters.- Ghost Dad said.

-Okay. That's enough!.- Dracula said.

Dracula didn't want his friends to speak well of a human when they had come to judge one.

-You must not forget that we are here to judge a human. That guy, Marcus.- Dracula said.

-It's true. We came to meet that human.- Frankenstein said.

-We'll see if he can meet our expectations.- The Mummy said.

The group continued walking until they reached Grimwood.

-Gentlemen, we have arrived.- Dracula said.

-It's been a long time since we came to Grimwood. I want to see how much Ghost has grown.- Ghost Dad said.

-I'll let them know that we have arrived.- The Wolf Man said.

The Wolf Man howled.

Inside the school. Marcus and the girls were cleaning. They heard the howl that the werewolf let out.

-It's my dad.- Winnie said.

She dropped the broom she was using to clean and went to open the door to her father.

-Our parents have arrived.- Sibella said.

The rest of the girls went to the entrance to greet them.

-Okay, Marcus. The time has come. Girls wait, I want to greet you too.- Marcus said.

Marcus went to the entrance with the girls to greet his parents. They opened the door and there were the girls' parents.

-Dad.- Sibella said.

-Sibella. How long has it been?.- Dracula asked.

Dracula and his daughter hugged each other.

-Winnie. How have you been?.- The werewolf asked.

-Very well, dad.- Winnie said.

Winnie's father patted her head.

-Dad.- Tanis said.

-Tanis. Look how much you've grown.- The mummy said.

The mummy grabbed his daughter in his arms and lifted her up.

-Elsa. You're more beautiful every time I see you.- Frankenstein said.

-Thanks pa.- Elsa said.

Frankenstein was happy to see his daughter.

-Boo!.- Ghost Dad said.

-Boo!.- Ghost said.

Ghost and his dad hugged each other and laughed. That was how they greeted each other.

The girls were happy to be reunited with their parents. Marcus watched the whole scene.

-Okay, Marcus. It's now. How should I introduce myself? - Marcus' thoughts.

He was thinking about how to introduce himself to the parents. He saw how affectionate they were with their daughters.

-They seem nice. Why do I think so much about it? - Marcus wondered.

Marcus approached to greet the parents.

-Hi. I'm Marcus. Your daughters' gym teacher. Nice to meet you. - Marcus said.

He raised his hand to greet them but none of them shook his hand. They just stared at him very seriously. Marcus started to get a little uncomfortable.

-So you're the new gym teacher? - Dracula asked.

-Yes, sir. - Marcus answered.

-Alador told us a lot about you. - The werewolf said.

-Really? And what else did he tell them?.- Marcus asked.

-Nothing we didn't already know.- The mummy answered.

-Which brings us to the reason for our arrival.- Dracula said.

-Dracula and the other parents looked seriously at their daughters.

-We already know everything about your activities as heroes.- Dracula said.

-You know?.- Sibella asked.

-Yes. Did you think we weren't going to find out?.- Dracula asked.

-But how did you know?.- Winnie asked.

-Sometimes we go to human towns. Humans are always watching those little demonic devices.- The werewolf said.

-You mean their cell phones?.- Marcus asked.

-Whatever their names are! I saw images of you and your friends fighting an army of spiders. What were you thinking young lady?.- The werewolf asked.

-Dad. I can explain.- Winnie said.

-I'm very disappointed in you young lady. Hiding things from your father.- Frankenstein said.

-But dad.- Elsa said.

-Who told you that you could be a heroine? Do you have any idea how worried I was? Of the danger you were in?.- The mummy said.

-But dad. The world is in danger.- Tanis said.

-It's not your responsibility to save the world. You're just little girls.- Ghost Dad said.

-We can handle ourselves.- Ghost said.

-Don't answer me young lady. You'll be grounded for a long time.- Ghost Dad said.

-Of that you can be sure. You too Sibella.- Dracula said.

The girls were being scolded by their parents. Marcus couldn't keep quiet.

-Wait. I'm to blame for everything. If you're going to blame anyone, let it be me.- Marcus said.

The girls' parents turned to look at Marcus.

-That's precisely what we were planning to do.- Dracula said.

-Yes. You're responsible for everything.- The werewolf said.

-How dare you do this to my Tanis?.- The mummy said.

-You will pay for using my daughter for your hero stuff.- Frankenstein said.

-We will have a very stern talk with you, sir.- Ghost Dad said.

-"Using your daughters?" Wait! You're wrong. This is a misunderstanding.- Marcus said.

It seemed like the parents were about to pounce on Marcus but the girls stood in front of him to protect him.

-Stop right there!.- Sibella said.

-Sibella. Step aside.- Dracula said.

-I won't. Professor Marcus didn't force us to do anything. We accepted to have these powers of our own free will.- Sibella said.

-Yes. At first he refused to let us help him but in the end we convinced him. He's a great teacher.- Winnie said.

-He's kind to us and takes care of us. He saved our lives many times.- Tanis said.

-She wasn't scared of us when she met us, like other humans do. I'm glad we have her with us.- Elsa said.

-If you're going to eat him, you'll have to get past us first.- Ghost said.

-Girls.- Marcus said.

His students loved him so much that they were willing to face their parents in order to protect him.

-Eat him? What are you talking about?.- The werewolf asked.

-We weren't going to eat him.- Said the mummy.

-No?.- Asked Sibella.

-No.- Answered Frankenstein.

-What a relief.- Said Marcus.

-Let's put him to the test.- Said Dracula.

-What?.- Asked Marcus.

-Test?.- Asked Sibella.

-That's right. Alador says you're the one to take care of our daughters but I have my doubts.- Said Dracula.

-I don't think a human is the one to take care of my daughter.- Said Frankenstein.

-Yes, he really wants to take care of our daughters. He'll have to prove himself.- Said Papa Ghost.

-And if it fails, we will take our daughters home and they will not return to Grimwood.- Dracula said.

-NOOO!.- The girls said.

Marcus could not let that happen. It is true that maybe this way they would be safe from Tirannica but they certainly did not like the idea of separating. They wanted to graduate from Grimwood all together. How their teacher had to prove that he could be their Guardian.

-Okay, Dracula. Test me.- Marcus said.

-Very well. Follow us outside.- Dracula said.

Marcus went with the girls' parents outside.

-Let's go too.- Sibella said.

-Yes.- Winnie said.

The girls followed their parents outside.

Everyone was in the courtyard. Dracula took out of his pocket a keychain with a decorative door.

-What is that?.- Marcus asked.

-It's something we bought from a wizard.- Dracula replied.

Dracula threw the keychain on the ground.

-Open it! Door of challenge!.- Said Dracula.

The keychain began to glow. The door that was decorated with it became gigantic.

-This you see here is the door of challenge.- Said Dracula.

-"The door of challenge"?.- Asked Marcus.

-It's a magic object that takes you to a pocket dimension.- Answered the werewolf.

-Those who have this magic object can create any kind of test inside it.- Said Frankenstein.

-If you can really protect our daughters, then enter that test.- Said Dracula.

-Each one of us thought of a challenge for you. There are 5 challenges in total. Good luck.- Said Papa Ghost.

The girls thought their parents were taking this too far.

-Wait a minute! You're going too far, Dad.- Said Sibella.

-What are you talking about? If he can take care of them like he says, then he won't have any problems.- Dracula said.

Dracula crossed his arms.

-I'll tell mom.- Sibella said.

-No, Sibella. We better not involve your mother in this.- Dracula said.

Dracula was nervous thinking about what his wife would do to him if she found out what he was doing.

-At least it's safe?.- Winnie asked.

-Of course. The wizard we bought it from said there was no problem. As long as the person who entered came back alive.- The werewolf replied.

-Aha! Then it is dangerous.- Winnie said.

-Well, if he is going to protect them, danger is something he will have to deal with.- The werewolf said.

-Is all this really necessary?.- Tanis asked.

-Tanis. You know I love you but I can't be with you all the time. That's why I want to make sure you have the best care possible.- The mummy said.

-You're not going to let anything bad happen to him, right?.- Elsa asked.

-Of course not, Elsa. We'll be watching all the time in case he's in danger.- Frankenstein replied.

-How?.- Elsa asked.

Dracula took out a hand mirror with a black frame from his pocket.

-With this. This magic mirror that the wizard gave us can show us everything that happened inside.- Dracula answered.

-Even so, I don't think you should do all this.- Ghost said.

-You'll understand one day when you have your own children.- Ghost Dad said.

The girls continued arguing with their parents. Marcus could understand a little how his parents felt. Although he didn't have children, his students mattered a lot to them.

-I will.- Marcus said.

Everyone stopped arguing and remained silent, looking at Marcus.

-What did you say?.- Sibella asked.

-I said I will.- Marcus answered.

Sibella approached Marcus.

-Don't do it, professor. Don't you see that it's very dangerous?.- Sibella asked.

Now, Winnie approached Marcus.

-We don't know what could happen to you. Neither could you survive 5 challenges from our parents.- Winnie said.

-I'll be fine, girls. Don't worry, I'll be fine.- Marcus said.

Marcus walked over to the girls' parents.

-Mr. Dracula. I'm ready to go in.- Marcus said.

-I'm glad to hear that. Let me open the door for you.- Dracula said.

Dracula opened the door to the challenge. Marcus walked over to the door.

-Be careful, professor.- Tanis said.

-Please come back alive.- Sibella said.

-I will. I'll be back so we can all enjoy the meeting.- Marcus said.

Marcus walked over to the door.

-And here we go.- Elsa said.

The girls were a little worried about their teacher.

-Dracula. Show us what's going on with the mirror.- Said Papa Ghost.

-Let's watch, everything is happening.- Said Dracula.

The mirror showed what was happening inside the door.

Marcus was already inside the door. The place was a huge cemetery. There was a fog over the graves, the silhouettes of the trees were scary and the sky was green.

-What a place they brought me to.- Said Marcus.

Suddenly, Marcus heard a noise. He turned around and saw a floating light. The light took the form of a jester. The jester looked like a human. He had a yellow and pink jester hat, a black and white mask, a yellow and purple cape, his chest clothing was yellow and purple, long black gloves, black jester pants, long black stockings, black jester shoes and earrings on his ears.

-Welcome visitor. My name is Sagi. I am the guardian of the door of the challenge.- Sagi said.

-You look like a human. Are you?.- Marcus said.

-Neither human, nor monster. I am just a spirit that was entrusted to guide those who enter this place.- Sagi said.

-I understand. What is my first challenge?.- Marcus asked.

-The first challenge was made by Ghost Dad.- Sagi answered.

Outside the door. They watched what was happening through the mirror.

-I was the one who created the first challenge.- Ghost Dad said.

-What did you prepare for him?.- Ghost asked.

-You'll see, daughter.- Ghost asked.

Inside the door. Marcus was about to start the challenge.

-In your first challenge. You must defeat these ghosts.- Sagi said.

From the graves came some ghosts. The ghosts had no legs, they floated in the air on their tails. Marcus was surrounded.

-Okay. Let's do this.- Marcus said.

Marcus prepared to enter combat.

-TRANSFORMATION! WITCH!.- Marcus shouted.

A light of energy surrounded his body. Turning him into his warlock form.

Outside the door. They watched what was happening through the mirror.

-Did you see that?.- Incredible.- The werewolf said.

-That's our teacher.- Winnie said.

Inside the door. Marcus was about to face the ghosts.

-If you are my first challenge. Then there will be no problem.- Marcus said.

Marcus was very confident. Compared to the possessed, these ghosts were nothing.

Outside the door. They watched what was happening through the mirror.

-That's what you think, Marcus. You'll see that ghosts are not so easy to defeat.- Ghost Dad said.

Ghost Dad was telling Marcus not to be overconfident.

Inside the door. Marcus was about to launch his first attack.

-FIREBALL!.- Marcus shouted.

Marcus used his magic to throw a fireball at the ghosts. The fireball was going to hit one but to Marcus's surprise the fireball went through the ghost.

-What the...?. Let's try again.- Marcus said.

Marcus prepared to launch another attack.

-TORNADO!.- Marcus shouted.

Marcus created a huge tornado with his magic. The tornado went straight to the ghosts. The wind was so strong that it was all over the cemetery. When the tornado dissipated, Marcus saw that the ghosts hadn't even moved.

-What's going on!?.- Marcus asked.

Sagi was at a safe distance, watching the challenge.

-They are ghosts. Their bodies are intangible. Attacks only pass through them.- Sagi answered.

Meanwhile, Marcus was distracted looking at Sagi. A ghost approaches him and punches him. That blow hurt Marcus.

-I can't touch them but they can touch me?.- Marcus asked.

-Don't look at me. I don't do the challenges. I just follow the rules.- Sagi answered.

Sagi crossed his arms looking away.

Outside the door, they watched what was happening through the mirror.

-Ha! Now what are you going to do? You can't touch them, but they can touch you.- Ghost Dad said.

Ghost Dad enjoyed watching Marcus in trouble.

-That challenge you created isn't very fair.- Ghost said.

-Life isn't fair, Ghost.- Ghost Dad said.

Inside the door. Marcus was having a hard time.

-Marcus thinks. There must be something you can do?.- Marcus' thoughts.

Marcus had to find a way to defeat enemies he couldn't touch.

-You can give up if you want. The challenge will end if you do.- Sagi said.

-No way! What kind of teacher would I be if I gave up now?.- Marcus asked.

Marcus had to pass all the challenges for the sake of the girls.

Outside the door. They watched what was happening through the mirror.

-What a fool. You should have given up. Now, you will suffer the consequences.- Ghost Dad said.

-Dad!.- Ghost said.

-What?.- Ghost Dad said.

Inside the door. Marcus was thinking about how to defeat the ghosts.

-If physical attacks don't work, what else do I have left?.- Marcus' thoughts.

Marcus was surrounded by ghosts. Sagi continued to watch from a safe distance.

-There must be a spell that will work for me?.- Marcus' thoughts.

He was thinking about how he could defeat these ghosts. Then, he remembered something that Alador had taught him when he trained with him.

-That's it!.- Marcus said.

Marcus prepared to cast a spell.

-PURIFICATION!.- Marcus shouted.

A blue glow illuminated Marcus' staff. An explosion of light was generated throughout the cemetery. The ghosts began to disappear. They all disappeared in a blue glow.

-All the ghosts have disappeared. You passed the first challenge.- Sagi said.

-I remembered that in my training I was taught that divine magic is the weakness of the undead.- Alador said.

-Why are you explaining it to me?.- Sagi asked.

-Huh?...I thought that...- Marcus was interrupted.

-No. I'm not interested in your explanations.- Sagi said.

Marcus had completed the first challenge.

Outside the door. They watched everything that happened through the mirror.

-He did it. He passed the first challenge.- Ghost Dad said.

-That's our teacher.- Ghost said.

-Alador. I curse you for seeing him trained so well.- Dracula said.

-You should be happy. If he passed the first test it's because he's not as weak as you think.- Sibella said.

-It was only the first test. Even a witch apprentice could have passed.- Dracula said.

Dracula and the other parents still had their doubts about Marcus.

Inside the door. Marcus was about to move on to the second test.

-Now, for the second test, let's change the scene.- Sagi said.

The world around him began to spin very fast. Marcus was getting dizzy and couldn't keep his balance. Sagi was fine, she didn't even move. When everything stopped moving, the place had changed. Everything was very dark. Torches lit up illuminating the place.

-Let me know when you're going to be that.- Marcus said.

Marcus saw the place where he was. It seemed as if he was in a chamber. There were geoglyphs carved into the walls and sarcophagi everywhere.

-Where am I?.- Marcus asked.

-You're inside a pyramid. This challenge was created by The Mummy for you.- Marcus answered.

-A pyramid?!.- Marcus asked.

The second challenge was inside a pyramid.

Outside the door. They watched what was happening through the mirror.

-The challenge I designed for him is going to be harder than the first.- The Mummy said.

-I hope so. He's already passed one challenge.- Dracula said.

-Don't worry Dracula. He won't make it past this one.- The Mummy said.

-Dad. Do you want Marcus to lose?.- Tanis asked.

-Of course not Tanis. I hope everything goes well.- The Mummy answered.

The Mummy lied. The truth is that all the parents wanted Marcus to lose.

Inside the door. Marcus was about to begin.

- What is this test about, Sagi?.- Marcus asked.

- First, you must pick up the object that is over there.- Sagi answered.

Sagi pointed to a mummy-shaped doll that was on top of a pile of gold coins. Marcus went to pick it up.

- Ready. Now what?.- Marcus asked.

- Now, I will explain to you what the challenge is about. You must escape from the pyramid with that doll intact. If the doll suffers any damage, you will have lost the challenge.- Sagi answered.

-But how will I know where the exit is?.- Marcus asked.

-There are maps carved around the pyramid. They will guide you to the exit.- Sagi answered.

-That's all. It can't be that easy.- Marcus said.

-It's not. You'll have to go through traps and mummies.- Sagi said.

Suddenly the sarcophagi opened and mummies came out.

-Mummies! They're coming for us.- Marcus said.

-No. Just for you. Remember, I'm always safe.- Sagi said.

Marcus looked at Sagi with an annoyed expression on his face.

-Fine. No way.- Marcus said.

Marcus held the wrist tightly and prepared to change shape.

-TRANSFORMATION! BLACK KNIGHT!.- Marcus shouted.

A light of energy surrounded his body. Turning him into his black knight form.

-Run.- Marcus said.

Marcus ran through the mummies. He cut down the ones that were blocking his way with his sword. He was able to pass the first door. As he ran down the hall, he saw a map carved into the wall.

"Okay. I have to go over there now," Marcus said.

Marcus went where the map indicated. Following the route on the map, he came to a new chamber. In that chamber there were pictures with drawings of suns on them and statues shaped like men holding darts on the walls. Sagi appeared next to Marcus.

"In this chamber. If you step on the wrong square, these statues will throw darts at you," Sagi said.

"How did you get here?" Marcus asked.

"I can teleport anywhere in here," Sagi replied.

Marcus had to be careful to cross this chamber. He stepped on the first square and nothing happened. Then he stepped on the second square and nothing happened either. Then he stepped on the third square. The drawing of the sun on the square glowed. That means it was the wrong one. A dart shot out of a statue. Marcus protected the doll with his body so that nothing would happen to it. The dart hit Marcus. His armor protected him from being poisoned but the impact hurt a little.

-As long as the doll is okay there is no problem.- Marcus said.

Marcus decided to speed things up and ran through the squares. Some were the right ones and others the wrong ones. When he stepped on the wrong ones, Marcus received the impact of the darts but he did not care. He just kept running until he reached the other side. After a while of running, Marcus had reached the other side.

-I did it!.- Marcus said.

-It is still too early to rejoice. The last chamber is missing.- Sagi said.

Marcus continued his way to the next chamber.

Outside the door. They watched what was happening through the mirror.

-I don't understand. Those darts must have hurt him. Why doesn't he give up?.- The Mummy asked.

-It's because it's Marcus.- Tanis answered.

-Tanis. What are you trying to say?.- The Mummy asked.

-Professor Marcus never gives up. No matter how difficult the situation is.- Tanis answered.

-That's how he's managed to protect us all this time.- Sibella said.

-Admirable but still. He won't be able to protect them from the spider queen.- Dracula said.

-Did they also know about the spider queen?.- Sibella asked.

-Of course. Alador warned our entire society when it was released.- Dracula answered.

-True. Tanis, come home. I can protect you. No human can defeat the spider queen.- The Mummy said.

-Keep looking at the mirror, dad. You'll be surprised by what you see.- Tanis said.

The Mummy was curious and continued looking.

Inside the door. Marcus had reached the last chamber.

-Welcome.- Sagi said.

Sagi teleported there. The chamber was three stories high, there were stairs to go down to the floors, traps where if you stepped on them you would fall, accounts and numerical results carved into the walls, levers next to the numbers and a large sarcophagus at the top of everything.

-In this chamber, you must solve all the accounts that are carved into the walls. You must pull the lever with its respective results. If possible, do it in 30 seconds.- Sagi said.

-Why?.- Marcus asked.

-Because in 30 seconds Anubis will come out of that large sarcophagus above and kill you.- Sagi answered.

Marcus looked at the large sarcophagus above.

"Good luck," Sagi said.

The challenge of the last chamber had begun. Sagi disappeared, leaving Marcus alone. He moved as fast as he could to solve the problems. Luckily, they were math problems for kids. He solved 1 problem out of 5 that were there. The 30 seconds had passed. The sarcophagus opened and Anubis came down.

"Damn!" Marcus said.

Anubis moved slowly. Marcus took advantage of that to move. As long as he didn't stop, he could evade Anubis and the traps on the floor. Marcus was doing very well. Anubis didn't notice the traps on the floor. Sometimes he fell into them and went up the stairs to start over. Thus, Marcus had already solved three problems. There was only one left.

"Good. Just one more and he opens the door," Marcus said.

As he moved, Marcus dropped the doll he was supposed to protect.

-The doll.- Marcus said.

Anubis was getting closer to the doll. With his claws he was about to destroy it.

-No!.- Marcus shouted.

Marcus threw himself at the doll, using his body to protect it and receiving Anubis' attack.

-AAAHHH!.- Marcus screamed in pain.

Anubis left his marks on Marcus' back. It hurt him a lot but he still stood up and continued with the challenge. He went to the last lever. Anubis was close to him. He pulled the lever, solving the last problem. When he solved all the problems, Anubis disappeared.

-There. My back.- Marcus said.

Sagi appeared to talk to Marcus.

-Congratulations. You completed the second challenge. Now, let's move on to the third.- Sagi said.

The whole place started moving again. Taking Marcus to the place where the next challenge will be.

Outside the door. They watched what was happening through the mirror.

-Incredible. He passed the second challenge.- The Mummy said.

-He's already completed two challenges. Maybe that human isn't as weak as we thought.- Ghost Dad said.

-You see dad? Professor Marcus can take care of us.- Tanis said.

-He threw himself into protecting that doll without hesitation. Even knowing the danger.- The Mummy said.

The Mummy was amazed by Marcus's action. If that doll had been his daughter. He would have done exactly the same.

-Maybe, I'll judge him too soon.- The Mummy said.

-Hey. No, let's not rush. There are still three challenges left.- The Wolf Man said.

-The next one is the challenge I created.- Frankenstein said.

-What kind of challenge is it?.- Elsa asked.

-One that doesn't require strength or skill. If not, what's in your heart.- Frankenstein said.

-His heart?.- Elsa asked.

-Yes. We'll see what's in that human's heart.- Frankenstein answered.

-I'm dying to see this. Pay attention Winnie.- The Wolf Man said.

-You too, Sibella. You'll see what humans are really like.- Dracula said.

Everyone looked at the mirror with interest.

Inside the door. Marcus had already been transferred.

-This is the stage where you will perform your third challenge.- Sagi said.

The place was a town in the middle of the night.

-What do I have to do?.- Marcus asked.

-You have to save someone.- Sagi answered.

-Who?.- Marcus asked

-You have to find out that yourself.- Sagi answered.

Marcus thought about what Sagi said. Then, the wound on his back began to hurt.

-Are you okay?.- Sagi asked.

-Yes.- Marcus answered.

In fact, the wound that Anubis caused him did not stop hurting.

-You seem hurt? Why don't you back off?. Yes, keep going like this, it could be worse.- Sagi said.

-Thank you, but there are people who trust me. I can't betray their trust by giving up now.- Marcus said.

-As you wish. Don't say I didn't warn you later.- Sagi said.

Marcus gives his thumbs up so his students think he's okay and don't worry.

Outside the door. They watched what was happening through the mirror.

- Oh, Master.- Sibella said.

- Just give up already. We already know what the result of this challenge will be.- Dracula said.

- What do you mean by that dad?.- Sibella asked.

- I mean. This test is for us to see what's in his heart. We already know what's there. He's a human. They're all the same.- Dracula said.

- This challenge is for them to see what humans are really like.- Frankenstein said.

- Yes. They're all afraid of us. They run away from us without even knowing us.- The Wolf Man said.

- Professor Marcus isn't like that.- Elsa said.

- Neither was Professor Shaggy.- Sibella said.

-Daughter. I saw with my own eyes how he and his dog ran away after meeting the new students.- Dracula said.

The girls still remembered that day.

-It's true that they ran away but there's something you don't know.- Sibella said.

-What?.- Dracula asked.

-An evil witch kidnapped me and my friends, and Professor Shaggy saved us.- Sibella answered.

Dracula and the other parents were surprised to hear that. They never knew.

-Is that true, Winnie?.- The Werewolf asked.

-Yes.- Winnie answered.

-He allowed an evil witch to kidnap them? I'm glad I turned him into a werewolf.- Dracula said.

-What did you say?.- Sibella asked.

-Oh... nothing daughter.- Dracula answered.

The Grimwood girls never found out that Dracula turned their former master into a werewolf.

-Let's keep looking in the mirror. That way, they'll know the truth.- Frankenstein said.

Inside the door, Marcus had already started with the challenge.

-Who could be that person I have to save?. Couldn't you give me a clue?.- Marcus asked.

-No.- Sagi answered.

Suddenly, a woman's scream was heard. A villager was running terrified towards Marcus. He stops her to calm her down.

-Calm down ma'am. What's wrong?.- Marcus asked.

-Oh, Sir knight. A monster is chasing me.- The villager answered.

Marcus, still in his black knight form.

-A monster? Where?.- Marcus asked.

-Over there, Sir knight.- The villager answered.

The villager pointed in the direction where the monster was and then ran away.

-That's it. I must save the people from that monster.- Marcus said.

Marcus thought he had already understood the challenge.

Outside the door. They watched what was happening through the mirror.

-He fell into the trap.- Frankenstein said.

-That's human. Show us what you really are.- Dracula said.

Inside the door. Marcus was looking for the monster.

-Where is it?.- Marcus wondered.

While he was looking. He heard the screams of the villagers.

-Monster! Monster!.- A villager shouted.

-Be careful!.- A woman shouted.

She saw people running away in fear.

-Don't be afraid. If we're all together we can take him down.- Said a villager.

-Yes! Let's finish him off!.- Said a villager.

The villagers began to arm themselves with pitchforks and torches.

-If you're going to face that monster you might be in danger. I have to find him before they do.- Said Marcus.

High above the houses, Marcus saw a figure jumping across the rooftops.

-It must be the monster. I better change to something lighter.- Marcus said.

Marcus prepared to change form.

-TRANSFORMATION! GHOST PIRATE!.- Marcus shouted.

A light of energy surrounded his body. Turning him into his ghost pirate form.

-Ready. With this form I'll be able to move better.- Marcus said.

Some villagers passed by Marcus.

-Kill the monster!.- One villager said.

-Let that monster die!.- Another villager said.

The two villagers who passed by, continued on.

-Kill it? That's a bit extreme. It's not necessary to kill it.- Marcus said.

-Isn't that what humans are supposed to do when they see a monster?.- Sagi asked.

-What? No. Not all of us are like that.- Marcus said.

-Really? Don't you think all monsters are bad?.- Sagi asked.

-No. I've met some that are bad but I've also met many that are good.- Marcus answered.

-How many monsters have you met?.- Sagi asked.

-I know the spider queen. She's evil. I also know monsters like Alador. He's good. He also helped me when I lost my reason to live but above all the monsters that I'm most happy to see are my students. They are the best girls in the world.- Marcus answered.

Outside the door. They watched what was happening through the mirror.

- Good heavens. Professor.- Sibella said.

- What are you saying?.- Winnie asked.

- Hey, Professor. Please.- Tanis said.

Sibella, Winnie and Tanis felt flattered.

- Grgrgrgrgrgrgr.- Towards the Werewolf.

The three blushed.

-Let's keep watching.- Dracula said.

Inside the door. Marcus was still talking to Sagi.

-And how many humans have you met?.- Marcus asked.

-Me?.- Sagi asked.

Sagi was thinking about all the people who have passed through the door of challenge, before Marcus.

-I've met many humans and monsters who have passed through here. The humans who entered here, thought of the monsters as enemies they had to defeat.- Sagi said.

-I see.- Marcus said.

-But you're here because you want to continue with your students, right?.- Sagi asked.

-Yes. I want to continue teaching them. I really like being with them.- Marcus answered.

-You're the first human I've met who sees monsters as friends instead of enemies.- Sagi said.

-Really? And what do you think of humans?.- Marcus asked.

-Instead of talking to me, why don't you go find that monster?.- Sagi asked.

-Oh, right! I had forgotten. I'd better go.- Marcus said.

Marcus went to find the monster. Sagi didn't answer Marcus because she didn't want to get too attached to him. When the challenges are over, Marcus will go back outside and he would continue inside the door. They would never see each other again.

Marcus ran looking for the monster between the houses. After a while searching, he saw a figure that jumped on a house.

-I found you.- Marcus said.

Marcus followed the figure. As he chased it, he saw that the figure had nowhere else to jump. It got down on the ground and ran to hide in an alley. Marcus chased it into the alley. It was a dead end. He had it trapped.

-Stop right there!.- Marcus said.

Now that he was closer to it, he could see it more clearly. The monster was a man with a hump on his back. His face was deformed, he had one arm bigger than the other and one eye was open, and the other half closed. The outside of his clothes was green and the inside was blue, his pants were blue too and his shoes were brown. The man seemed very scared of Marcus. That monster is not what Marcus expected.

-Who are you?.- Marcus asked.

He called me Morpheus, sir. Please don't hurt me.- Morpheus said.

Marcus saw that it was not a threat and approached him to talk to him.

-Calm down. I'm not going to hurt you.- Marcus said.

-Really?.- Morpheus asked.

-Yes, really. Are you the monster that the villagers talk about?.- Marcus asked.

-I'm not a monster. I didn't do anything wrong.- Morpheus answered.

-So, why are they looking for you?.- Marcus asked.

-I live in an abandoned church. I stay away because people get scared when they see me. Tonight I decided I wanted to go out and meet new people. While I was walking through the village I saw that a woman had dropped her handkerchief. I picked it up and went to give it to her but when she saw me she screamed. I ran away. Suddenly everyone in the village was chasing me.- Morpheus answered.

Marcus was left thinking about what Morpheus said. Just because he looked different they chased him like an animal. He couldn't believe the way people treated him.

-That's terrible.- Marcus said.

There were some noises. It was the townspeople who had found him. They were heading to the alley where they were.

-There he is!.- A villager said.

-He has no escape.- A villager said.

-Let's finish him!.- A villager said.

The crowd was approaching Morpheus to hurt him.

-No. Please. I didn't do anything.- Morpheus said.

-Stop!.- Marcus shouted.

Marcus stood between the crowd and Morpheus.

-He's protecting the monster.- A villager said.

-Traitor!.- A villager said.

The crowd was angry with Marcus.

-How can you judge him without knowing him? Just because he looks different from us doesn't mean he's bad.- Marcus said.

The villagers calmed down a bit.

-He didn't want to hurt anyone. He just wanted to return a handkerchief that a lady had dropped.- Marcus said.

-Let him prove it.- A villager said.

-Morpheus. Show them the handkerchief you were going to return.- Marcus said.

Morpheus takes out the handkerchief and shows it to the crowd. The villager who owned the handkerchief recognizes it.

-It's my handkerchief.- The villager said.

-I saw that he had dropped it and I wanted to give it back to him.- Morpheus said.

The villagers didn't know what to believe anymore.

-I know you have your doubts. I had them too when I started to meet some of my friends but I learned something. Don't judge based on their appearance, forget your prejudices and in the end you will discover that they can be better people than you think. I know this because I have met many wonderful people like him.- Marcus said.

The villagers calmed down. Marcus's words made them come to their senses.

-Well. This changes everything.- A villager said.

-I think we went too far.- A villager said.

-On behalf of the people of the village we offer you an apology.- A villager said.

-Sure. No problem. From now on I hope we get to know each other better.- Morpheus said.

-Of course. That's how it will be.- The villager said.

The people of the village left for their home.

-I'm glad you understand.- Marcus said.

The owner of the handkerchief approached Morpheus.

-Excuse me.- The villager said.

-Oh, it's you. Here's your handkerchief.- Morpheus said.

Morpheus gave the handkerchief back to the woman.

-Thank you. Would you like to walk with me?.- The villager asked.

- Me?.- Morpheus asked.

-Yes.- The villager answered.

-Just a moment.- Morpheus said.

Morpheus approached Marcus.

-Thank you for everything good sir. I will never forget it.- Morpheus said.

-You're welcome. Have fun.- Marcus said.

Morpheus shook Marcus' hand and left with the villager. Sagi appears standing on top of a house.

-Congratulations. You passed the third challenge.- Sagi said.

-Was he the one I had to save?.- Marcus asked.

-Yes. You saved someone without caring about their appearance. You passed.- Sagi answered.

-Good. Only two left.- Marcus said.

-Now you will be transported to the stage where the 4th challenge will take place.- Sagi said.

The world around was moving once again. Marcus was being transported to the next place.

Outside the door. They watched what was happening through the mirror.

-I can't believe it. He did it. I was sure he was going to fail.- Frankenstein said.

The parents were shocked to see Marcus. He had protected that man. Not just anyone would have done that.

-Now you see what's in our teacher's heart, dad?.- Elsa asked.

-Professor Marcus doesn't judge people by their appearance.- Ghost said.

-Yes I recognize him. He's not like other humans I've met but still let them fight...- Frankenstein was interrupted.

Elsa put her hand on her father's shoulder.

-Dad you should have seen when we saved that city. The people were so grateful to us that they didn't care that we were monsters. Maybe that's the change we all need.- Elsa said.

-Elsa.- Frankenstein said.

-If we keep saving more people people won't be afraid of us anymore. The days when we were the terror of humans are over.- Tanis said.

Frankenstein, The Mummy and Ghost Dad were left thinking about what they said. They were already tired of everyone being afraid of them.

-Dream when you're asleep. Humans will never change.- The Wolf Man said.

-Let's not jump to conclusions yet. There are still two challenges left.- Dracula said.

-The next one is the one I created.- The Wolf Man said.

Inside the door. Marcus had reached the next stage.

-Here is the fourth stage.- Sagi said.

The place was a forest in the middle of the night.

-Where am I?.- Marcus asked.

-You are in a forest.- Sagi answered.

-Everything is very dark. I can hardly see anything.- Marcus said.

-That's the point.- Sagi said.

-What do you mean?.- Marcus asked.

-In this challenge you will have to defeat an enemy hidden in the shadows.- Sagi answered.

-Who is it?.- Marcus asked.

-Your enemy will be a werewolf. He is hidden somewhere. You have to defeat him before he defeats you.- Sagi answered.

-I can already imagine who created this challenge.- Marcus said.

Outside the door. They watched what was happening through the mirror.

-Werewolves are good at seeing in the dark and the forests are like our habitat. This time you won't make it through.- Said The Wolf Man.

-Don't be so sure, dad. Professor Marcus and I, we had already defeated a werewolf before.- Said Winnie.

-Surely he must have been a weakling if he lost against a human and a girl.- Said The Wolf Man.

Winnie was upset. Her dad didn't know how much it cost her to defeat that werewolf.

-This werewolf won't lose against him.- Said The Wolf Man.

Inside the door. Marcus was about to begin his challenge.

-Let the challenge begin.- Said Sagi.

Sagi said that and disappeared. Marcus prepared to change form.

-TRANSFORMATION! DEAD JUSTICE!.- Marcus shouted.

A light of energy surrounded his body. Turning him into his cowboy form.

-I already have experience fighting a werewolf. This won't be so difficult. Although this time I had the help of my students, this time I will win alone.- Marcus said.

Marcus walked through the forest. He had his weapon in his hand. Only the sound of the wind could be heard. There was no path with stones. Only grass and trees. Suddenly a howl was heard. Marcus was on guard. Something was watching him from a distance. Without Marcus noticing. The creature was approaching him very quickly. Marcus receives a scratch on his back again. The first one was done to him by Anubis before.

-AAAAAAAAHHHH!.- Marcus screamed in pain.

Marcus turned to see the werewolf. He was big, his fur was black, his eyes were red and he had saliva running from his mouth. Marcus aimed and shot at him but the werewolf dodged him with his speed and hid in the shadows again.

Marcus was wounded and kept walking. He was watching the werewolf. As he walked, he heard something approaching him and dodged it. Then he shot but the creature dodged him again. He stood still in place to be alert. He looked around.

-Damn. He's fast and the environment is in his favor. It's like he's a ninja.- Marcus said.

The werewolf comes out of his hiding place and scratches Marcus again. He shoots but doesn't hit him. The werewolf came in and out of his hiding place, scratching Marcus many times. He was very hurt and the werewolf hadn't received a single scratch. Marcus falls to the ground. He was hurt and tired. The werewolf lets out a howl and a growl.

Outside the door. They watched what was happening through the mirror.

-How can you do this to him!?.- Winnie asked.

Winnie and the other girls were worried about their master.

-Don't you think we're going a little too far?.- Ghost Dad asked.

-Maybe.- The Mummy answered.

-Stop this! Please.- Sibella said.

-Relax. All he has to do is give up and he'll be fine.- The Wolf Man said.

-If he ever gives up.- Dracula said.

-What do you mean?.- The Wolf Man asked.

-Yes, you can see. That human can be very stubborn.

Inside the door. Marcus was lying wounded on the floor.

-I have to get up.- Marcus said.

Marcus tried to get up but he was in bad shape. Sagi appeared next to him.

-Marcus, give up now. You can't keep going like this. That wolf is going to kill you.- Sagi said.

Throughout Sagi's existence, he had seen many who entered the door of defiance and died. He didn't want to see another one die.

-If you give up, everything will end.- Sagi said.

Marcus didn't listen to Sagi and tried to stand up.

-Why are you doing this? Why are you forcing yourself to get up?.- Sagi asked.

-Because I don't want the girls to separate. We lived many good times together in Grimwood. I want us to have more good times like this. Until they all get to graduation together and remember their stay in Grimwood as one of the best times of their lives.- Marcus answered.

-Marcus.- Sagi said.

Sagi looked at Marcus in amazement as he continued trying to stand up. Suddenly Sagi heard footsteps. The werewolf was starting to get closer.

-Oh no.- Sagi said.

Sagi didn't want Marcus to die but he couldn't intervene.

Outside the door. They watched what was happening through the mirror.

-But what's going on? Give up already. Don't you see that you're going to die?.- The Werewolf asked.

The Werewolf and the other parents started to worry. They didn't want Marcus to die, just to give up.

-No professor. Don't die.- Tanis said.

Tanis was crying.

-Leave professor. It's okay. We'd rather you get out alive.- Elsa said.

-Grimwood is not our home without you.- Ghost said.

Elsa and Ghost were very worried.

-Haven't you seen enough? Get him out of there at once!.- Sibella said.

-I will never forgive you if something happens to Professor Marcus!.- Winnie said.

Sibella and Winnie were very angry.

-The girls are right. I am already satisfied with what I have seen.- Ghost Dad said.

-We have misjudged that man.- Frankenstein said.

-Let's hurry up and get them out at once.- The Mummy said.

-Okay, okay. It's fine.- The Wolf Man said.

The Wolf Man was still not satisfied but he didn't want his daughter to hate him.

-Dracula, get him out of there.- The Wolf Man said.

-I can't.- Dracula said.

-What do you mean you can't?.- Sibella asked.

-He can only get out in two ways: Completing all the challenges or giving up.- Dracula answered.

-But that means...- Sibella didn't finish the sentence.

-He's trapped.- The Werewolf finished Sibella's sentence.

Those outside could only pray that Marcus was okay.

Inside the door, Marcus was trying to stand up.

-I have to. No matter the pain.- Marcus said.

He wasn't just doing it for the girls. He was also doing it for himself. After Argus, he had lost the will to live but when he met the girls, he regained the joy of living. Although he was a little selfish, he didn't want them to be taken away from him.

-If he hadn't met the girls, he would still be empty inside. How could he give up on them now, giving up?.- Marcus asked himself.

Marcus drew strength from within and managed to stand up.

-AAAHHH! This isn't over yet.- Marcus said.

He managed to stand up but he was injured. The werewolf was still on the prowl.

-Think Marcus. How do I get out of this?.- Marcus asked himself.

He thought about how to defeat his enemy and again remembered his training with Alador.

-I must use my senses.- Marcus said.

Marcus closed his eyes and concentrated on the sound. He heard the sound of the wind colliding with the leaves of the trees. He concentrated more and breathed more slowly. He began to listen to the werewolf. Where he is and where he moves, he could know by concentrating on the sound. Marcus channeled his energy into his gun. The gun was surrounded by a green aura. The werewolf runs at full speed towards Marcus but he already knows where it comes from. When he got close enough to him, he shoots him with a very powerful discharge, this time hitting the target. The werewolf falls to the ground and disappears. Then Sagi appears next to Marcus.

-Congratulations. You passed the fourth challenge.- Sagi said.

Marcus let out a sigh of relief.

-Now, we'll move on to the last challenge.- Sagi said.

The place around began to move for the last time to take Marcus to his last challenge.

Outside the door. They watched what was happening through the mirror.

-He did it! He passed!.- Sibella said.

-That fool. He'll see when he comes out.- Winnie said.

-Thank goodness. I was so worried.- Tanis said.

-He was pretty hurt for not wanting to give up.- Elsa said.

-That's our teacher. We'll have to build an infirmary in Grimwood. Just for him.- Phantom said.

The girls were happy that their teacher had completed the challenge.

-Don't celebrate yet. There's still the last challenge. The one I created for him.- Dracula said.

The girls stopped celebrating. There was still Dracula's challenge. Who knows what he has prepared for Marcus?

-Tell me Dracula. What did you do for him?.- Asked the Wolf Man.

-I put a sandworm at the door.- Dracula answered.

Everyone was shocked to hear that.

-A sandworm!? Are you crazy?.- Asked the Wolf Man.

-I didn't think he would make it to the end. I thought he would lose in the first. I never imagined I would have to face the worm.- Said Dracula.

Everyone who was there knew what the sandworms were capable of.

-Dad. Tell me you didn't do it.- Sibella said.

-I'm sorry, daughter. I didn't want this to happen. Let's just hope he's okay.- Dracula said.

They continued to watch in the mirror. Hoping that Marcus comes out unharmed.

Inside the door. Marcus had already arrived at the place where his last challenge will be.

-Here is the place where you will face your last challenge.- Sagi said.

The place was a deserted wasteland. Marcus was tired and hurt. He wanted to finish all this and go home.

-Okay. What do I have to do?.- Marcus asked.

-This challenge was created by Dracula. It's the hardest of all. You have to defeat the sandworm.- Sagi answered.

-What is a sandworm?.- Marcus asked.

-They are giant worms that hunt their prey underground.- Sagi answered.

-Giants, you said?.- Marcus asked.

The ground beneath them began to shake. In the distance they could see something moving beneath the sand towards Marcus. He ran to another side to avoid it. A gigantic worm came out of the sand. Its body was white, it only had one huge eye and three layers of sharp teeth in its mouth. The worm went back into the sand.

-WHO! How am I supposed to beat that thing?.- Marcus asked.

That sandworm was even bigger than the spider queen. How will Marcus pass this challenge?.

Outside the door. They watched what was happening through the mirror.

-He won't be able to beat that thing!.- Winnie said.

The girls, seeing that sandworm, knew that their teacher couldn't beat it. He had already faced many monsters before but nothing compared to that.

-Find a way to get it out!.- Sibella said.

-I can't. I already told you that it's not possible.- Dracula said.

Marcus could only get out of the challenge door by giving up or winning the challenge.

-Open that door. I'm going in to help him.- Sibella said.

-I'm going too.- Winnie said.

-We're all going.- Tanis said.

The Grimwood girls were determined to go in there to help their teacher.

-Don't even think about it, it's too dangerous! You're not going in there.- Dracula said.

-You too, Winnie. You're staying here.- The Werewolf said.

-We won't let them enter that door with that thing inside.- The Mummy said.

-But then what will happen to Professor Marcus?.- Elsa asked.

-Stay calm Elsa. I'm sure he'll give up and be able to get out.- Frankenstein said.

Inside the door. Marcus was about to change form.

-TRANSFORMATION! WITCH!.- Marcus shouted.

A light of energy surrounded Marcus' body. Turning him into his warlock form.

-Okay, sandworm. Come for me.- Marcus said.

Marcus used gravity magic to float up to the sky. Being already at a safe distance, he waited for the sandworm to come. He saw it moving under the ground. The sandworm jumped up to eat Marcus. He prepared to attack it.

-FIREBALL!.- Marcus shouted.

With his magic he threw a fireball at the worm. The fireball didn't do anything to him. The worm was about to reach him.

-BLIZZARD!.- Marcus shouted.

Marcus uses the momentum of a wind spell to move to the side and dodge the worm.

-The fireball didn't do anything to him.- Marcus said.

-Sandworms have very tough skin!.- Sagi said.

Sagi warned Marcus from below, where he was.

-What am I going to do now?.- Marcus wondered.

He thought like never before about how to get out of this predicament. The sandworm's skin was too tough for Marcus' spells. He thought and thought. Then he had a crazy idea.

-It's crazy but it could work.- Marcus said.

He went down to the sand.

-Hey, sandworm! Come and eat me!.- Marcus shouted.

Marcus tried to attract the sandworm.

-Hey! I hope you're not trying to do what I think you're thinking.- Sagi said.

Sagi had an idea of what Marcus was planning.

-You guessed it. You're a wizard.- Marcus said.

The sandworm was approaching Marcus. He didn't move. Sagi covered his eyes so he couldn't see. The sandworm opened its mouth to swallow Marcus but he was already prepared.

-SHIELD!.- Marcus shouted.

He created a magic shield around his body. The sandworm ate him. Sagi opened his eyes to see what happened.

-I can't believe it. He really did it.- Sagi said.

Outside the door. They watched what was happening through the mirror.

-No.- Sibella said.

-I'm sorry daughter.- Dracula said.

Dracula hugs his daughter to comfort her. Sibella starts crying.

-Professor Marcus is...- Phantom couldn't finish the sentence.

The girls were very sad. They thought they had lost their teacher.

-I'm really sorry, Winnie. It's our fault.- The Wolf Man said.

The parents felt guilty about what happened. They didn't want things to end like this.

Inside the door. Marcus hadn't died yet.

-What's going on?.- Sagi asked.

Something was happening to the sandworm. Its body was starting to freeze. Until it was completely frozen. An explosion occurred inside the worm. A hole opened in its body and Marcus came out of that hole.

-Hi.- Marcus said.

-You're being reckless.- Sagi said.

Sagi smiled at seeing Marcus well.

Outside the door. They watched what was happening through the mirror.

-He's alive!.- Sibella said.

The girls were happy to see their teacher safe and sound.

-But how did he do it?.- The Werewolf asked.

The parents were confused. They saw that the sandworm ate him.

Inside the door. Marcus was going to explain to Sagi how he did it.

-My goodness, man, what a crazy idea he got into his head.- Sagi said.

-You said that the sandworm's skin was very tough. So it occurred to me that I could defeat it from the inside. Before it ate me, I cast a protection spell on myself. Then when I was in its stomach, I cast an ice spell to freeze it from the inside. Once frozen, I used an explosive spell to get out of the worm. It was a risky plan but it worked.- Marcus said.

-Hahaha. You really are crazy. Hahaha.- Sagi laughed.

-Hahaha. It could be, right. Hahaha.- Marcus laughed.

Marcus and Sagi laughed together.

Outside the door. They watched what was happening through the mirror.

-It's not funny. It scared the shit out of us.- Sibella said.

-Just wait for me to get my hands on you.- Winnie said.

-Give me back my tears.- Tanis said.

-I'm glad he's okay though.- Elsa said.

-I just hope he never does that again.- Ghost said.

The girls were happy to see their teacher okay. Although a little upset by his attitude.

-Wow. Can you believe it? What a crazy human.- Dracula said.

-And this guy works teaching our daughters?.- The Wolf Man said.

-He's a fool.- The Mummy said.

-We're not the ones to say that. This was all our idea.- Frankenstein said.

-When he gets out of there we should apologize to him.- Papa Ghost said.

The girls' parents had a lot to say to Marcus when he got out.

Inside the door. Marcus and Sagi stopped laughing.

-Ah. It's the first time I've laughed so hard.- Sagi said.

-What?.- Marcus asked.

-No...nothing.- Sagi said.

Sagi shook his head and became serious again.

-Congratulations. You have completed all the challenges.- Sagi said.

Fireworks appeared in the sky. That was Sagi's doing.

-Yes, I did it! I completed all the challenges. So those who said I didn't have what it takes can see. How do you see it now?.- Marcus asked.

Marcus celebrated his victory.

-Well. Now that there are no more challenges left, you can go.- Sagi said.

The challenge door appeared in front of Marcus. The door opened. Marcus could now leave.

-Finally. It was one of the most difficult experiences of my life.- Marcus said.

Marcus walked towards the exit. He stopped before leaving. He turned and looked at Sagi. He thought about something and then turned back to ask him something.

-What's wrong? Weren't you leaving already?.- Sagi asked.

-Sagi. You said you were a spirit, right?.- Marcus asked.

- Yes. Why?.- Sagi asked.

- I have a suggestion for you. Would you like to come with me?.- Marcus asked.

- What?.- Sagi asked.

- Yes, you would like to come with me. You know, go outside.- Marcus answered.

- I can't do that. I'm the guardian of the gate of challenge. I'm chained to this place.- Sagi said.

- I have a solution for that. You know, inside me there are 4 spirits living. There's always room for one more. If you and I work our souls, you can get out of this place.- Marcus said.

- Are you serious?.- Sagi asked.

-I'm serious. All this time I've been here you've been guiding me. I've grown a little fond of you. I'd like you to come with me outside. It would be very helpful in our fight with the spider queen. What do you say? - Marcus asked.

Sagi was left thinking about Marcus's proposal. He had forgotten how long he had been inside the door of the challenge. He didn't know anyone other than those who enter this place. He felt very alone. He wanted to go outside and see other places, and meet other people.

-I accept the offer. I'll let you have my power.- Sagi said.

-Good. Extend your hand.- Marcus said.

Marcus and Sagi joined hands. A glow occurred that illuminated the entire place. When the glow disappeared, Sagi was no longer there. She had merged with Marcus.

-Excellent. Now I have 5 spirits.- Marcus said.

Marcus was happy to have Sagi with him.

-Let's try out the new powers.- Marcus said.

Marcus was preparing to use his new form.

-TRANSFORMATION! JESTER!.- Marcus shouted.

A light of energy surrounded Marcus' body.

Outside the door. They watched what was happening through the mirror.

-What's going on? I don't see anything.- Dracula said.

-That flash blocked our view.- The Wolf Man said.

-Look, over there.- Ghost said.

Ghost pointed to the challenge door. Marcus was coming out of the door in his new form.

-Hi girls. How do I look?.- Marcus asked.

He was wearing a black cloth hat with a red feather decoration, a white long-nosed Valencian mask, a black cape, and white gloves. The rest of his clothes were jester's clothes. Their color was yellow and brown. He also carried a mailbox cane in his hand. At the top of the cane was the shape of Sagi's head.

-So? What do you think? Isn't it very...? - Marcus couldn't finish his sentence.

Before he could finish, Winnie went and kicked him in the leg.

-I was worried! - Winnie said.

That blow hurt Marcus.

-Hey. Don't you see that... - Marcus didn't finish his sentence.

Marcus suffered many injuries while inside the challenge door, but when he searched his body, they were gone. Apparently, having worked with Sagi healed his wounds.

-What do you think? I don't have any wounds anymore. - Marcus said.

Sibella goes and hits him.

- Don't change the subject! Don't show up like nothing happened.- Sibella said.

Then Tanis goes and hits her.

-Do you have any idea how worried we were!?.- Tanis asked.

Elsa and Ghost go to hold Sibella and Tanis.

-Come on girls. The important thing is that the teacher is okay.- Elsa said.

-Let's calm down a little.- Ghost said.

-I expected a little more affection from him.- Marcus said.

-Honey!?. After the stupid thing you did?.- Winnie asked.

-But it worked, right?.- Marcus asked.

-I don't want to go through that again ever.- Sibella said.

-Don't do this to us again.- Tanis said.

Marcus and the girls were having a love fight (So to speak). The parents watched the situation. It made them laugh. They started laughing. Marcus and the girls watched as they laughed. Then they stopped laughing.

-Marcus. I think I speak for everyone when I say we're sorry.- Dracula said.

-Huh?.- Marcus asked.

-You showed great bravery in there. As a werewolf that I am, I respect that.- The Wolf Man said.

-You also showed that you have a big heart. I'm glad my daughter has a teacher like you.- Frankenstein said.

-We did all this to see what kind of teacher you were.- The Mummy said.

-And we found out that you are a great teacher. Much better than the other two before.- Ghost Dad said.

-That's why we have decided that we want our daughters to continue studying here at Grimwood.- Dracula said.

-Really? I'm glad to hear that.- Marcus said.

The girls were happy. They celebrated that their parents allowed them to continue at Grimwood.

-We are very sorry to have made you go through all that.- Dracula said.

-Accept our apologies.- Said the Wolf Man.

-Of course. No problem. They just want the best for their daughters. They are very important to me too.- Said Marcus.

Although they put him through hell. Marcus understood that they just wanted to make sure their daughters were in good hands. With the spider queen on the loose they didn't think a human could protect them from her.

-I'm glad you recognize your mistakes, dad but don't think that you're safe with that. I'm going to tell mom.- Said Sibella.

-I'll tell mom too.- Said Winnie.

Dracula and the Wolf Man trembled. If they thought the facts were scary they didn't know their wives.

-It seems like they're in trouble.- Said the Mummy.

-Mom will know too.- Said Tanis.

-All our mothers will know.- Elsa said.

The Mummy, Frankenstein and Daddy Ghost also started to tremble. At that moment Miss Grimwood comes out of the school.

-What are you doing? Dinner is ready. Come in everyone.- Miss Grimwood said.

-What are we waiting for? Let's go inside.- Marcus said.

-Yes. Let's enjoy the meeting.- Sibella said.

-Good idea, daughter.- Dracula said.

Everyone went inside.

Inside, everyone was enjoying dinner. They were laughing and chatting. It was good to spend quality time with their family. With their jobs they didn't see their daughters much (Whatever they are). After dinner, they heard Ghost play the organ. He did it very well. They applauded him for his wonderful melody. Thus, they continued enjoying their parents' meeting.

It was getting late and the sun was about to rise.

- I have to go Sibella. The sun is about to rise.- Said Dracula.

-I'm glad you came, dad.- Said Sibella.

-Wait. I've seen Sibella walk in the sun.- Said Marcus.

-There's an explanation for that. You see...- Dracula couldn't finish the sentence.

-Dracula was interrupted by Winnie and her dad's goodbye howl (We'll never know how Sibella walks in the sun).

-I have to go Winnie. The moon is starting to set.- Said Papa Wolf.

-Come back soon, dad.- Said Winnie.

-Take care of yourself, daughter. Especially when you go out to do your heroine things.- Said The Mummy.

-I'll have it, dad.- Said Tanis.

-See you next year. I'll tell your mother you say hi.- Said Frankenstein.

-Tell mom to come visit.- Said Elsa.

-See you next year, Ghost. I'm very proud of you.- Ghost Dad said.

-Thank you, Dad.- Ghost said.

Marcus went to open the door for the parents.

-Have a good trip. See you next year.- Marcus said.

-It was a pleasure meeting you, Marcus. I leave my daughter to you.- Dracula said.

-Count on me. I won't let you down.- Marcus said.

Marcus and Dracula shook hands. Dracula began to squeeze Marcus's arm tightly.

-Because if anything happens to her, I'm going to drink all your blood and eat your bone marrow. See you next year.- Dracula said.

Dracula left.

-The same goes for Winnie, protect her or you'll be my dinner. See you next year.- Said the Wolfman.

-The Wolfman walked away. Frankenstein went and picked up Marcus.

-Elsa is the greatest joy in my life. Take care of her or else.- Said Frankenstein.

Frankenstein let go of Marcus and walked away.

-Take care of my little Tanis or you'll suffer my wrath.- Said the Mummy.

The Mummy walked away.

-Take good care of Ghost or I'll haunt you in your dreams for the rest of your life.- Said Papa Ghost.

Papa Ghost walked away. All the parents had already left. The parents' meeting was over.

-Aren't our parents sweet?.- Asked Sibella.

-Yes. How sweet.- Answered Marcus.

Marcus sat trembling on the floor.

Later. Everyone was already sleeping in their beds. Meanwhile, Marcus was in his bed, his mind was in the place where his spirits live.

In the castle where Marcus' spirits live. He was introducing Sagi to the rest.

- Guys, this is Sagi. Our newest member.- Marcus said.

Alaric approaches Sagi to give him a handshake.

- Nice to meet you, Sagi.- Alaric said.

- The pleasure is mine.- Sagi said.

The other three looked at Sagi.

- We're counting on you for our fight against the spider queen.- Tristan said.

- She's nothing like you've seen before.- Will said.

- Lend us your strength, boy.- Captain Kidd said.

- I will. You can count on me. I'll help you in your fight.- Sagi said.

Everyone was glad to have Sagi on the team.

In Alador's castle. He was looking for his daughter.

- Amelia. Amelia. Where are you?.- Alador asked.

He had returned from his meeting with the association of ghosts, specters and retired spirits of Transylvania. He looked for his daughter in her room but could not find her.

-Where is she?.- Alador asked himself.

He sees a note on Amelia's bed. He takes it and reads it.

-What could this be?.- Alador asked himself.

The note said "Dad, I went to live in Grimwood with Marcus and the girls. Thanks for taking care of me.- Signed Amelia."

-WHAT?!.- Alador shouted.

Apparently Amelia went to live in Grimwood.
