Chapter 2: Next Generation on the Prowl
Hidden Palace, Exeller Dimension
Sarah, Karson, and the other kids landed after what felt like an eternity inside that portal.
"Wow, glad that's over." Karson groaned, holding his head.
"Yeah, that sucked." Precious added. "Where are we?"
"Wait, this is the Hidden Palace. This is where Dad stores the Master Emerald when he is away." Karson pointed out.
"Are you sure? It looks different than usual." Precious said.
"Maybe we're in a different world." Sarah suggested.
"That's insane, Sarah!" Karson reacted.
"Well, we went through a portal, even though that doesn't prove anything." Sarah told him.
"Well, regardless, we need to get going to see if we can find a way out of here, or, if Sarah's right, find out where we are." Karson then said.
"Wait, how are we going to get Charity, Miles, and Serenity around?" Precious pointed out.
"We'll have to carry them. We won't have to worry about Shadic. He's actually got his rocket skates down pat, but we'll have to carry the triplets. I'll get Serenity, Karson, you get Miles, and Precious, you get Charity. You ready to run, Shadic?" Sarah stated.
Shadic nodded.
"Ok then, let's see if we can find a way out." Sarah then said as the group took off.
