Chapter 6: Ace in the Hole

Sark Palace, Mobius

It had turned night as well as stormy at Sark Palace. Our heroes were still awake as Rouge was getting close to picking the lock to her and Knuckles' cell.

"You about to get it?" Knuckles asked.

"I would if you would stop asking every 10 seconds." Rouge groaned.

Then, the cell door clicked open.

"Bingo!" She said.

"Great job, babe! Now, let's free the others." Knuckles told her.

Rouge blushed and nodded.

A Few Minutes Later

"Ok, now that we're free, we need to try to find a way out of here before Sark finds out we escaped." Tails said.

"Too late." Sark said, appearing behind the heroes.

"How did you-"

"Figure out you were trying to escape? I just had a feeling." Sark told him.

"What do you want with us?" Blaze demanded.

"To be honest, I don't need you anymore. I got what I needed." Sark grinned. "But I'm not letting any of you go free, obviously. I have something in store for all of you." Sark snapped his fingers and the group began to turn to stone.

"What the hell is happening?" Knuckles yelled.

"Just a little something I fixed up for all of you." He answered as the group was completely frozen in stone.

The hedgehog laughed,snapped his fingers again, and the group vanished.

"Where did you send them, Master?" A guard asked.

"That remains a secret, but I'll call it an ace up my sleeve." Sark answered ashe floated away. "I have just about all I need to be complete. I must check in with the others at the outposts."
