Chapter 8: New Powers
Mecha Green Hill Zone, Exeller Dimension
Exeheller was now skyscraper size.
"I know you have abilities hidden inside all of you, and I'm here to help you learn them." Exeller said.
"By getting sky high tall?" Sarah asked.
"One of you has the ability to grow to this size as well. Here, let's try this." Exeller snapped his fingers and a yellow diamond shaped gem appeared in front of the kids.
"A Chaos Emerald?" Precious asked.
"No, it's a Power Gem."
Karson began glowing.
"What the?" He said, surprised.
"So you have the ability?"
Karson closed his eyes.
"It feels warm."
"That's you adjusting to the power. Think of yourself growing to my size." Exeller told him.
Karson nodded, and a few seconds later, he was Exeller's size.
"See, you got to put your mind into it. Now, we're going to do something else. I want you to fight me."
"Fight you?" Karson asked, shocked.
"Relax, kid, it's only for training purposes. I'll teach you a few moves, then we'll be done." Exeller told him.
"Uh, ok, I guess." Karson said.
"You have your father's punch and your your mother's kicks. Same with your sister, only your punches are your strongest, and vice versa." Exeller explained.
"Somehow I figured that."
"Let's see how fast you can punch." Exeller challenged.
"Ok. Get ready."
Karson threw a punch but Exeller caught it.
"You're going to have to be faster."
Karson tried again, but once more Exeller caught his punch.
"Come on, young echidna-bat, you can do better."
Karson kept throwing punches, now in a faster, more anger driven tone, but Exeller was still blocking the punches until one got to him.
"Excellent. You got me. Now you must dodge one of my punches." Exeller grinned evilly.
"Yipe!" Karson gulped.
Exeller pulled his fist back and launched a punch. Karson threw his fists up and blocked it, his sharp knuckles poking the demonic hedgehog's fists.
"Ow! Hmm, nice job, Karson." The demon complimented. "Now I have another move for you."
"Which is?"
"Your kick. You'll have to learn the side kick. Rather than actually trying to hit my hip, just practice the move." Exeller instructed.
Karson did as told.
"So, Exeller, is it? Do we have any special abilities?" Precious asked.
"Yes, Precious. You have your mother's and father's abilities, same as your brother, but also, you can't turn giant. Only Karson can do this. Sarah, you and Carter have your father's speed and mother's strength. However, you have a hammer, and Carter can do Sonic Wind. Precious, you have the Screw Kick. Shadic will be able to tap into the Chaos Force, as well as wield his mother's powers. As for these three, all I know is that their powers are a mystery, but their potential is unbelievable." Exeller said. "Well, I think that is enough, Karson."
The demon snapped his fingers and he, along with Karson, returned to normal size. He tossed the Power Gem to the young boy.
"Keep it. Remember, it only works in very dire and risky situations." Exeller told him.
"Got it." Karson nodded.
"Come with me, I need you to see someone."
Exeller opened up a Red Ring Portal.
"I promise you can trust me." He said before vanishing into the ring.
"Should we?" Precious asked the others.
"We might as well. He wouldn't of told us that if he wasn't trying to help us. What do you think, Sarah?" Karson pointed out.
"I say we go."
The echidna and bat nodded as they entered the ring behind Exeller.
