Chapter 13: Dizzy Death Dodge
Spirit Special Stage, 1 Hour Later
Sonic and Amelia had to adjust to the gravity of the Spirit Special Stage. It took a while, mainly for Amelia due to Sonic knowing how to adjust to the gravity dating all the back to his first adventure.
"Are we close?" Sonic asked.
"Very close. Pervision's hut should be right around this corner." Amelia answered as they rounded said corner. "There it is." She pointed to an opening nearby.
"So that's it, huh?" Sonic said.
"Yes, this is where Pervision stays. Let's head in." Amelia said as she and Sonic walked in.
Inside seemed to be some sort of study filled with books and papers.
"Hello? Pervision? Are you here?" Amelia called out.
"Yes, yes, I am. I'm coming." Pervision called out as he walked in from the basement.
He was unlike the other demon Sonics, as he was a very pale blue, nearly a turquoise color and only had one eye, which was in the center of his face.
"Ah, Exetior Amy, how may I be of assistance to you?" He asked.
"I need you to find a spirit of this version of Sonic the Hedgehog. Well, not his, but a friend of his." Amelia said.
"Which dimension is he from?"
"The Cobalt Rose Dimension."
"Ok, let me see if someone recently from that dimension showed up here." Pervision said as his eye closed and he held still. "Yes, it appears that someone from that dimension had showed up here in the Spirit Special Stage. "
"It should be her. Can you see?" Sonic asked.
"Yes." Pervision closed his eye again, then reopened it. "It appears to be your version of Cream the Rabbit. Is this the person you are looking for?"
"Yes, it is. I also know you usually give some sort of challenge." Sonic replied.
"This is correct. You must of met Exetior already."
Sonic nodded.
"I do require you to pass a small challenge. It should be no problem for the likes of you, Sonic." Pervision told him.
"Whatever it is, lay it on me!" Sonic said, determined.
"Blue Spheres."
"Is that is?"
"That is all." Pervision nodded.
"No problemo. Wait here!" Sonic zoomed off.
A Few Minutes Later
"Great job, Sonic!" Amelia told him.
"Nice work. A deal is a deal. I shall revive your friend." Pervision snapped his fingers and a figure began to materialize in front of the trio.
In a matter of seconds, Cream appeared as if she never died.
"Cream, is that you?" Sonic asked.
"S-sonic? All I remember is that there was someone that looked just like you being in my face and...killing me?" Cream stirred.
"Yes, but we brought you back."
Sonic then explained all he knew up to this point.
"W-wow? So all that happened since I died?
"I'm afraid so, Cream. Now we have to find a way to find the kids and save the others." Sonic stated.
"If you are willing to take on such a quest, I suggest you talk to Exetior about it. He'll be able to help you." Pervision suggested.
"Not on my watch!" A voice said.
The group looked up to see Sark Cream standing in the doorway.
"You must be Cream from the Sark Dimension." Pervision said.
"Yes. Nice of you to be so wise." Sark Crean stated.
"So that's another version of me?" Cream asked.
"Yes, and I see you've been revived. Well, enjoy it because I'm about to end it for a second time!" Sark Cream charged at Cream but Sonic punched her back.
"Nice dodge, but it won't stop me!" Sark Cream stated.
"Careful, Sonic. She's Sark's top assassin." Amelia pointed out.
"Then this should be a good fight." Sonic said.
"Likewise." Sark Cream added as she headed out of the hut. "Let's see how well you can handle the gravity here." She challenged.
"Heh, I can handle it just fine." Sonic said.
He hopped after Sark Cream, who was flying above Pervision's hut.
The two engaged in combat.
"You stand no chance in the long run." Sark Cream told him, throwing a punch.
"In case you don't know, I never back down from a challenge." Sonic replied, dodging the punch and fighting back with a kick, landing it on her hip.
"So you got a hit on me? Big whoop, I'm not phased." Sark Cream shot back.
Sonic homing attacked the magenta rabbit.
"You're better than I thought, but I'm through, wha?"
Sark Cream was then pulled into a portal and vanished.
"What? I was winning!" Sonic complained.
"We know, but Sark Cream is a very dangerous person. Be thankful I did that." Pervision floated by Sonic.
"Ok, I am."
The Blue blur hopped down to Cream and Amelia.
"Well, we should head back to Exetior's cave. Pervision, you said he can help us, right?"
"Yes, he can. We must all band together to defeat Sark. I will open the way back for you." Pervision opened another portal.
"Thank you, Pervision." Cream said. "By the way, where's Cheese?"
"He is being held by one of Sark's minions. You will need to rescue him along with the rest of your friends." Pervision answered.
"Got it." Cream nodded.
"Well, I wish you all luck. I will be here if needed." Pervision stated.
"Thank you again." Amelia said as the group walked through the portal.
