(WARNING!!: Timeline based Mythology is all sorts of screwed up. Characters from the Egyptian pantheon and Greek pantheon are sort of screwed up because that's how we're getting our main character into being)
(also, sorry. Having the name Izuku in it is little clickbait, but they end of having forest green hair like Izuku and are born with green eyes. They may seem to excel in most things, but them in a romantic scene and they're a mess. As they're fem. I regret nothing!! :3 )
{3rd POV}
The hot sun beats down onto the arid sand of the Egyptian land scape. As to the Oasis that is a portion of Egypt, being divine and not roam the surface, some more secluded than others. Though in this instance Anat: Goddess of War, can't help but smile at her child as she plays with the intricate wooden figurines indicating soldiers she had gotten her child or her fourth birthday. The child plays war against her mother, using statagies to sharpen her mind and learn to command. Dispute the training, the child seems to be enjoying it.
Several hours later after the chess like game against her mother, which the adult won. The Mother-daughter duo stretch out to work on improving her defense. Using wooden swords, the mother attacks sloppily and unpredictably to allow her child to block with sword and shield. Parrying and Blocking, along with the possible prediction of the enemy movements.
Sometimes Anat envies her child, being the daughter of the King of Gods of the Greek Pantheon: Zeus can have benefits that children of her own pantheon do not have. Such as increased learning capacity for war tactics, combat in general, ability to easily read others, and a quick learner. Not to mention the natural enhanced strength can make almost anyone envious.
Distracted by her thoughts on another topic, Anat has become distracted and has let her guard down; allowing for her child to knock her down with a swing of her shield. "Mother! Do you not feel well? Should we break for a stroll along the waters edge?" offering a hand, Anat takes her daughters hand who pulls her mother to her feet with ease.
"No, Thea my dearest. Simply the thoughts of another thing soon to come at hand waver my mind" looking to the sundial just outside, the woman sighs as her emerald eyes turn back to her child. "Thea my dear, this will be enough training for today. Do go and wash yourself, then prepare yourself for an outing. We have business we must tend to" a sadness in her eyes makes the child hesitate, but a soft smile seems to reassure her child as the little one puts away the equipment then proceeding to take her leave and prepare herself.
It was not long after that her daughter left her room with lightly damp hair that lightly curls naturally; black hair that has a dull shine of emerald in the sunlight to her shoulders. Large Emerald eyes with trace hints of electric blue within the iris, skin that has been kissed by the sun. Body build of an athlete with light muscle tone that could still be expanded upon and a height of 48 inches; taller than most girls her age. The young warrior dawns a regal yet casual cloth wear with only a small dagger strapped to her outer thigh.
Knowing that things may not always be well for her child, she did the best she could to teach her child for the trials that may come. Seeing her child's hair shimmer in the rays of Ra's light makes her smile. "I see you have finished my dear. Now come, we have matter to which we must attend before the sun reaches its peak. Let us take our leave, Thea my dear" offering her hand, Thea takes it with a gentle smile.
The sand shifts beneath their feet as they walk, passing individuals who shout greetings on occasion. Nearing the square, Anat feels her daughters hand to yanked from her grasp. Panicking, she turns to look for her child; only to see her picking up spilled goods from a farmers cart. A soft smile graces her features as a bright smile graces her daughter's face.
"Oh young miss, you shouldn't have to worry about me, I can handle myself-" the old farmer is only cut off by a smiling Thia who is picking up a sealed jar of dried herbs, which the old man could barely lift. "Nonsense sir! I am simply doing what I can to assist another around me. As an addition, seeing other people smile always brighten my own day. So I must insist sir, let me assist" the man only nods with a hint of reluctance.
Finally with strapping everything down in the cart, and lifting the handles of the wagon for him to finally take himself and beginning to walk away with quick good byes. Making her way back to her mother, a proud smile plastered on the older woman's face makes her own grow brighter. "Well done my dear, you always find a way to make your mother proud" taking her hand again, the duo make their way across the large town to the temple of the gods.
Stopping at he entrance, she kneels to her child and look her in the eyes. "Thea my dearest, the meeting with the council we are about to be taken too has to do with you my little shrew. Know that no matter their decision, I will forever love you. Do you understand?" Thea nods before opening her mouth to ask a question "Yes I do mother. Though I must ask as to why they would be discussing about me, have I done something to displease them?"
Sighing softly with undiscernible feelings striking her heart. "No my dear, it has to deal with your father. The man, as amazing as he is; belongs to another pantheon. Thea, you my sweet one are unique, the first of your kind. But know this my dear, I will love you no matter their choice; do you understand?" with tears threatening to flow, the duo hug each other close before walking inside.
"Thea my dear, we must meditate in order to reach the space where the council is holding the meeting, are you ready?" a curt nod from Thea as determination radiates in her eyes. Sitting cross-legged on the carpet placed inside, and the meditation begins.
For what could have felt like ages to the ones meditating has been only a few brief minuets in reality. In the Mindscape, the pair stand in front of a council of the seven major deities of the Egyptian pantheon. Isis: Goddess of Life, Seth: God of Chaos, Geb: God of the Earth, Horus: God of the Sky, Ra: God of the Sun, Anubis: God of Death and Embalming, and lastly Amum: King of the Gods. The seven deities sit in a horse shoe shape; with Amum in the middle with Ra and Anubis to his left and right.
Ra stands as a representative of Amum. "Greetings Anat: Goddess of War, and Thea. Daughter of Anat and Zeus-" the name is laced with venom. "On this day, we have discussed and chosen the best course of action for the Pantheon. Thea of Raqote: Daughter to the Goddess of War Anat, an Zeus; leader of the Greek Pantheon. You are hear by banished from the realm of the Gods and from Giza, and Cairo till the end of time-" keeping a neutral face, dispute her swirling emotions, she steps forward.
She bows respectfully before speaking. "Council, if I should ever be so bold. I would like to request something from you before I am to be sent away". Ra looks angry, and Seth looks amused. "HOW DARE YOU SP-" Amum stands and gestures for Ra to stand down, which he reluctantly does so.
"Ra, silence, now Thea of Raqote; what is it that you request? For depending on what it is, I may or may not grant it. The reason for hearing your request is for one, I am intrigued and another is we have not had an individual request something before" a gentle smile lays upon his lips as we waits for the young one to speak. Bowing once again Thea straightens up, trying to look more imposing, even if it doesn't work.
"Thank you for hearing me Lord Amum. I would like to request the rank and privilege's of a Medjay. To be a protector of the people, whether they be from this Pantheon or another. I wish to protect the mortals who have dedicated so much to this pantheon, and those who could possible serve and contribute-" she pauses a moment to let it sink in. "For you see my lord, my goal and subsequent passion is to help others. Having the rank of a Medjay would then allow me to help the mortals in ways that others cannot. I know this is ignorant of me, my lord; but whether you grant me this or not, I will tend to the mortals." looking Amum in the eyes, they twinkle with amusement and curiosity.
"Why young one do you wish to protect and assist the mortals?" Thea just beams brightly and innocently at the upper gods some flinching at the brightness. "Why that is easy Lord Amum. Because it feels nice to help others, and it is the right thing to do. Lastly, am I allowed to send messages to my mother, so that she knows that I am alright?" she tilts her head in adorable curiosity.
Amum just laughs a large hearty laugh, so much so it catches the whole room off guard. "Oh Young one! I grant you both of these things, I shall even grant you a special falcon to assist you in your travels and message sending. The reason for granting this is you young Thea of Raqote, is I have not encountered one of your pantheon who cares for others like you yourself! I wish you safe travels Young Thea! The things you have requested and I have granted shall be waiting for you near by when you leave. A side note is I personally do not wish for you to leave, but the others here fear your potential power. Safe travels young one" a flash of light blinds the pair before the thrown back into the real world among the mortals.
Waking up, Thea can see her mothers worried face. "Thea! That was incredibly bold of you ... they could have killed you if Amum hadn't been so kind!" Thea just smiles sadly as the little warrior walks to the stone chest that lays in the back of the room, a golden light emanating from the box. "I am aware of that mother, it was a gamble I wanted to take. It payed off" reaching the box, she opens it to find a badge of polished gold dawning an eye of Horus with a ruby embedded into the eye, an inscription on the back with details on who she was 'employed' by.
(Imagine the armband thing from Assasins Creed Origins)
A screech startles the two as they look to the door wat, only to see a glittering desert falcon fly into the room and landing on one of the statues lining the room. The nicely sized falcon squawks at the girl, who only grins and outstretches her arm with the hardened leather bracer for the hawk to land. Which the hawk does, gliding down to land on his owners arm. "Well hello there little fella" on closer inspection, the falcon is majorly covered in dirt brown and sandy tan feathers, but the chest area and inside of the wings contain golden feathers scattered around its body. Gently stroking its chest, she smiles sadly "Well big fella, my mother and I will be needing to leave this building, we need to head back home. Is there a way you can make your shiny feathers not so?" The large avian just squawks at her as his feathers fade to be a dull dirty gold. "Thank you" smiling sadly at her mother, she begins to walk back with her.
"Mother, I am sad that I must leave. But I keep my head up and look towards the future, for when I finally find a place where I can set up a home, you can come visit me. There are no such rules that prevent you from doing so" a dry chuckle leaves Anat as they walk down the street. "Yes, you are right my dear, there are no rules against it. That given me hope to see you once more my dear; though we must set you up for the trip to your father ... I can only hope that he will take you in" nodding with a soft smile, Thea walks in comfortable silence with her mother.
Finally reaching their shared home, Anat goes to her room to retrieve something from a very old chest. The item is wrapped in a cloth and longer than an arm. "Thea my dear ... I ... I have this for you, I was planning to give it to you when you had gotten older, but it seems you may need it sooner than I thought. This is the sister to my own Khopesh" unwrapping the blade shows a glossy black blade with gold inlayed along the blade and the hilt. "This is Zoc'teal (Made Up), meaning sturdy. This blade has been made to never break or become damaged, and sharp enough to cut a human hair that falls onto the blade. She is yours now, and she will help protect you" smiling, Thea hugs her mother tightly as they two finally allow their emotions to overwhelm them.
The next morning arrives, and Thea is geared up with materials with horse's saddle bag packed to the brim with supplies. The young warrior wears light leather armor on her shins and forearms, as well as appropriate clothes to fight and travel in. The badge of the Medjay attached to her upper left shoulder. Under her eyes painted black so that she may see better with the bright sun.
Zoc'teal strapped to the bottom of her back with a small light shield attached to her left forearm. Standing before her mother who is crying, the pair hug tightly as they say their good byes. "Do not worry mother, I shall send you messages though my travels... I do not wish to leave, but we can not disobey the upper gods. Do with my stuff as you with, but I must leave if I am to make any good headway this day" Anat pulls her daughter close once again before she allows her little shrew to leave the nest. "Stay safe dear, and safe travels" the young girl nods to her mother, staying strong for her as she finishes prepping to leave.
Saddling up and leaving, the camel sways beneath her as they move to the sea side of Roqote where she can catch a boat to Greece.
An so, her journey begins!
(AN: Well! This was a TOTAL pain in trying to figure out how to get this started! Anyway, I hope you enjoy it! I will be getting to the spot where she it put into the other world. But right now, we are doing some heavy character development!
Next chapter will show why she is related to Zeus and some more emotions! Sorry by the way. I'm not good with sad moments. :P Hope you enjoy anyway!!
