bopdog111: Frisk told a bit of history, and talked some sense into Arngeir.

Ulrich362: True, well for now anyway... he probably needs time to think about what she said... which is convenient considering the group is heading to get the Horn of Jurgan Windcaller.

bopdog111: A maybe a few side quests along the way.

Ulrich362: True, let's see what happens. Enjoy the chapter.

The group while on the way to Ustengrav after marking the location on the map had headed back to Whiterun taking a break at the Bannered Mare for Jin's case drink a bit with Asgore, Undyne, and Toriel (Papyrus initially wanted to join but Sans not wanting his brother into alcoholism convinced him to train with him although Sans was lazing around) while Frisk, and the others were talking together, and then she walked to a bard smiling, "Excuse me sir?"

"Hm, yes?" the bard asked interested.

"Can you please sing, 'Ragnar the Red'?" Frisk requested him with a smile.

The bard grinned nodding, "Ah, a fine but bloody tale, I can do that."

"Thanks so much." Frisk smiled walking back to Asriel, and Chara.

"Why did you ask about that song?" Asriel asked curiously.

"It's a local favorite of my family." Frisk answered with a smile as they looked over.

The bard cleared his throat, "This is a local favorite, and one of the first songs, I ever read: Ragnar the Red."

He started strumming his instrument:

"Oh, there once was a hero named Ragnar the Red,
Who came riding to Whiterun from old Rorikstead

(pause)

And the braggart did swagger and brandish his blade,
As he told of bold battles and gold he had made.

(longer pause)

But then he went quiet, did Ragnar the Red,
When he met the shield-maiden Matilda, who said;

(shorter pause)

"Oh, you talk and you lie and you drink all our mead,
Now I think it's high time that you lie down and bleed!"

(pause)

And so then came clashing and slashing of steel,
As the brave lass Matilda charged in, full of zeal.

And the braggart named Ragnar was boastful no more-
When his ugly red head rolled around on the floor!"

"That... wow." Asriel whispered. "She cut off his head for lying?"

Jin clapped a bit, "Always nice to have something like that, comforts the mind. It just lets you know that people would do anything for fame, and glory, other then that it's a fine bloody tale to be sure but with inspiration."

"Jin, you've been in Skyrim for a while yes?" Asgore inquired.

"At times but this is longer then I stayed usually it's soldier business." Jin answered Asgore.

"I see." he nodded.

He sees a cup being handed to him full of warm water that he asked for.

"Thank you miss." Asgore smiled taking it.

"It's no trouble." spoke a Redguard woman wearing an apron with a smile.

Asgore nodded taking a sip. "Miss, do you know of anyone in Skyrim who might need help?"

"Well I heard of a giant had been causing trouble nearby." the Reguard woman answered.

Asgore nodded before turning to Jin. "Considering the history Monsters had with all of the races on the surface I feel working together or helping could make up for the past."

Jin nodded before blinking at the woman who turned walking off before he called, "H-hey wait a second!" Confused she looked over as he looked her over which made her a little nervous before he asked, "Do you know anything of a Redguard woman being looked for by the Alik'r?"

Looking shocked she asked, "Are you sure?" He nodded as she looked worried asking herself, "Oh no! They've found me?" She looked at him saying, "I need your help! Please, come with me. I need to speak to you privately."

Jin raised an eyebrow but nodded following her upstairs while they watched curiously as Frisk asked confused, "Huh? What is she talking about? Who found her?"

"No idea." Chara shrugged.

Shrugging Frisk turned to her siblings before asking, "Chara? Azzy?"

"Yeah Frisk?" Asriel asked her.

"What is it?" Chara inquired.

She looked down before asking, "Do you two... hate me?"

"What?" Chara questioned.

"Why would we ever hate you?" Asriel asked in shock. "We could never hate you Frisk."

"I... I kept my part of the Blades... a secret from you all." Frisk said quietly to not catch anyone else's attention with slight tears, "My family... we were responsible for many hardships with you both."

"So?" Chara asked. "Everyone has secrets they're not comfortable with sharing. It doesn't change our opinion of you."

"...And if you know from the beginning?" she asked.

"Well, I don't know how... he would have reacted." Asriel admitted. "But I would know that you're a good person Frisk."

She started crying at this. Hearing that Toriel looked over as her eyes widened. "My child, what's wrong?"

"Goat Mom..." Frisk softly cried running over, and hugging her tight.

Toriel just gently hugged her. "It's alright my child."

While standing together Jin walked back down noticing Frisk in Toriel's arms, and asked Asgore, "Do I want to know what happened when I stepped out?"

"I'm not sure." he admitted. "Frisk just suddenly got really emotional."

Jin shrugged before clapping to catch his group's attention, "Okay everyone listen."

They all turned to him at that while Toriel held Frisk who still had tears in her eyes.

"While we head to Ustengrav we should head on our way to Rorikstead." Jin said to them, "We found the Redguard woman their looking for so we should head over to where there staying, and tell them about her."

"Well, if you're sure." Undyne shrugged.

With that they exit heading on there way arriving at a small village as Jin looked around, "So this is the village Lokir lived at..."

"LOKIR, IS HE A FRIEND OF YOURS?" Papyrus asked.

"A fellow prisoner. We will talk about that story later but I will say it was few ways the Imperial Empire is now in the wrong." Jin answered.

"well, what are we doing here?" Sans asked him.

"Looking for the Alik'r. Redguard warriors that we seen at the gate after we defeated the dragon." Jin answered as they looked around. Eventually Alphys entered the pub finding some Redguard Warriors with curved swords were drinking ale.

"Um... excuse me?" Alphys asked walking over to them.

Hearing her they looked over as one of them asked, "Do we know you from somewhere?"

"We... met in Whiterun." Alphys answered nervously. "My friends wanted to talk with you about... the girl you wanted to find."

Widening there eyes one of them demanded, "You have? Where? Tell me now!"

"Hey, calm down." Undyne told him from the doorway with a glare. "We can talk outside."

So after heading outside with them, and the others Jin explained to the Alilk'r what he founded out, and one of the warriors cupped his chin before nodding his fellow warrior before informing, "We cannot go after her, not without drawing attention. You must bring her to us. Lead her to the Whiterun stables, outside of the city. We will wait for you there."

"3 days good? Me, and them need to head to somewhere important." Jin said to him.

"Don't take too long now." the warrior said to him before heading off with his fellow Alik'r.

"Is that really a good thing?" Frisk asked him. From her point of view selling the woman out for them is a bad thing to do.

"Well, I should probably tell you why. The woman in question Saadia is a member of House Suda in Hammerfell." Jin said to them as they headed out of Rorikstead, "I heard about that a member of that house sold out a city in Hammerfell to the Aldmeri Dominion where if she haven't done that, Hammerfell would stand it's ground in the war against the Altmer Elves."

"Wait, do you think she's the one who sold them out?" Chara whispered.

"Why else would someone like her be here with mercenaries from Hammerfell trying to find her?" Jin answered with his own question.

"They'll kill her, won't they?" Asriel asked nervously.

"I don't know." Jin answered before saying, "Whatever the case, we can't worry about that right now. We gotta find the Horn of Jurgen Windcaller."

They all nodded at that.

"Lead the way." Undyne mentioned.

They all walked together crossing passed Morthal while facing fierce beasts, and things like bandits, and thieves. During the time Jin slipped in some training lessons for Frisk, Chara, and Asriel. Eventually while the sun is setting they arrived at a Nordic Tomb, and Jin checked the map nodding, "This is Ustengrav." He rolled the map before pocketing it.

"Be careful, we have no idea what might be waiting in there." Asgore mentioned.

They walked in staying armed, and looked around seeing Necromancers were working dead bandits looking on, and they collapsed turning to dust but the Necromancers reanimate more as Jin sneered in disgust, "Even in death these Bandits don't find peace."

Chara tightened her grip on her dagger at that.

"Reanimate spells." Frisk frowned, "These used in the Conjuration art to revive dead bodies to do your bidding for a short time."

"should Paps and I handle this one?" Sans asked.

"Go ahead, if you two can handle it." Jin answered to them, "But be careful you two are undead so they should probably have spells to ward off undead creatures."

"DON'T WORRY ABOUT US!" Papyrus grinned before turning to Sans and nodding as the bandits suddenly began glowing blue.

"Ah, what the hell!?" one of the Necromancers cried surprised as the bandits stopped moving.

As they did bones slammed into the necromancers knocking them out cold. They all collapsed out cold at this stunned for a while.

"Let's keep moving." Asgore suggested.

"There gonna wake up, and come after us." Jin said to them at that as they walked forward.

"Maybe not, they didn't see who attacked them after all." Undyne pointed out.

With that they continued forward eventually coming into a small room where they find Draugr were fighting some Necromancers as Frisk frowned, "Probably woken up by the Necromancers."

"Don't look my children." Toriel told them.

Frisk, Asriel, and Chara all looked away just as some Draugr cut down the Necromancers just as Jin told Undyne, "Undyne you take the Draugr on the right. I'll take the one on the left."

She nodded forming two spears. "Let's make this quick."

Jin drew his sword as they ran over while the Draugr killed the last Necromancer, and heard running turning over at them before they ran forward swinging there two handed weapons which they dodged the avoid. Undyne stabbed one Draugr in the chest and through its head with her spears. Jin meanwhile dodged it's next attack, and kicked the back of it's leg forcing it to a knee, and decapitated it where it collapsed, and he look the bodies of there gold or useful items before saying to them, "Alright it's clear now."

The others nodded at that. They continued forward down killing Draugr, claiming gold, or investigating tough corners along the way after exiting a door. Arriving down they kept there guard up finding treasures, and fighting off threats while letting the kids have there own turns against mediocre enemies. Walking into a large room they see what looks like a large caved up room with stone stairs trailing down looking beautiful in it's own way.

"Wow, it's beautiful." Asriel smiled.

"Yeah, it is." Chara agreed. "Being able to go back to the surface makes it easier to appreciate too."

Noticing something down Jin said, "Take a look down." They looked down seeing a wall at the floor being identical to the one back at Bleak Falls Barrow.

"Do you think another of those words is there?" Undyne asked.

Jin nodded before saying, "Clear that area," he points to an area before saying, "While I head down there."

"Right." Asgore nodded.

They headed down only to find skeletons are patrolling the area. Papyrus frowned as Asgore struck a skeleton with his trident while Toriel enveloped a few more in flames, and Frisk, Chara, and Asriel managed to attack three more skeletons. Asriel hit a skeleton but it didn't defeat it as it turned over to attack Asriel who tripped while blocking but before the skeleton can attack him a spell struck it as he turned to see Frisk with her hands out, and walked over offering a hand to Asriel. Taking her hand he frowned. "I thought I could get him and... Frisk behind you!"

He quickly shoved her just as an arrow struck him in the chest. Widening her eyes in horror Frisk cried, "Azzy!" Her cry caught Chara's attention as she turned from the skeleton she defeated only to freeze seeing an arrow on Asriel's chest, and looked over seeing a skeleton was preparing a second arrow.

She screamed as she sprinted towards the skeleton stabbing and punching at it furiously. The skeleton tried to fight back but was quickly overwhelmed by her. Frisk looked worried looking over before saying to Asriel, "Azzy... this is gonna hurt but stay with me." She grabs the arrow before with a mighty yank pulled it out.

He cried out only to blink looking at his hands. "I'm... still alive?"

Frisk meditated before calling, "Healing Hands!" A green glow exit her body enveloping Asriel as his wound slowly shrink down.

"That... thanks." Asriel mentioned weakly getting up.

"I... I think that was the last of them." Alphys mentioned nervously.

"Frisk, do you think I survived... because of how I came back?" Asriel asked her quietly.

Frisk only hugged him close with tears, "Don't ever do that again!"

"I didn't want you to be hurt." he admitted hugging her back.

Chara after turning the skeleton into bone dust checked over, and sees Asriel, and Frisk hugging each other close.

"Azzy... are you ok?" she asked hesitantly.

They looked over as Frisk said with tears, "He's... he's okay, I healed him."

"We should stay together, just in case." Chara told them.

They nodded before Jin walked up arriving as he looked around, "Looks like you cleared this area out."

"Yeah, what about you?" Toriel inquired.

"I managed to learn a new Word of Power." Jin said before looking, "The gate's down."

Alphys passed a stone before it made a noise glowing red as she cried out startled only for a gate to raise up from the doorway before it lowered down a few seconds later.

"Huh?" she asked moving to the stone again only to notice the gate rise before lowering again. "These stones are connected to that gate."

"I see... if you pass through them the gates rise but if you aren't fast enough they lower." Asgore said seeing this.

"sounds like a whirl for you right?" Sans asked Jin with a wink.

"And by that your hinting the Whirlwind Sprint." Jin said to him hearing that with a small sigh.

"That would make sense." Asgore nodded.

"Okay stand back." he stepped back with them before running forward, and after the first stone triggered he called, "WULD!"

He sprint at a fast speed passing through the gates which resulted in all the gates raising up at once.

"He made it." Asriel smiled.

They all walked as Jin looked before turning over, "Our prize, should be nearby."

They walked into the next room, and Jin made them stop which they see pressure plates with small jets at the top.

"That looks dangerous." Frisk frowned.

"Wait here." Jin said before carefully stepping on one which triggered nothing as he continued moving down before gesturing the others to follow him on the plates he steps as they carefully made there way across.

During which Undyne notices Frostbite Spiders on the other side not noticing them. Frisk noticed them too only to frown. "Can we avoid fighting them?"

"If possible but as it stands from the way here we can't." Jin said before handing her a bow, and some arrows, "Here might be a good time for bow practice."

Frisk frowned taking it as Asriel asked her, "You ever used a bow?"

"Sometimes back at home..." Frisk admitted softly aiming clear before firing striking a Frostbite Spider at the head killing it as it collapsed, and alerting the other spiders only to be pelted down by two new arrows by Jin.

Frisk looked down at that before giving him back the bow. "We shouldn't have done that."

Jin let her keep the bow before saying, "They were gonna kill us. It's right to not be proud taking a life but you didn't had a choice at this point, it was either you, or them."

"We could have just knocked them out and slipped past." Chara pointed out.

"You can't knock creatures like Frostbite Spiders out." Jin pointed out himself as they continued forward.

After Asriel pulled down a switch the gate opened as they walked in where stone statues raise up from both sides of the room from water as they see a coffin at the front with a stand on top of it.

"That must be where the horn is... but, it's not there." Asriel pointed out. "Did someone steal it?"

Seeing this Jin walked over taking it before reading it aloud.

Mysterious Note:

Dragonborn -

I need to speak to you. Urgently.

Rent the attic room at the Sleeping Giant Inn in Riverwood, and I'll meet you.

- A friend

"A friend?" Asgore asked. "Should we trust them?"

Jin looked before saying, "Well right now we don't know where else the Horn of Jurgen Windcaller is. Our best bet is to head over." With that they walked forward collecting the treasures, and exiting as he sighed from the night sky, "Ah hell, screw walking back." Turning to Sans he asked, "Do you think you can use your 'shortcuts' or whatever to take us all back to Riverwood?"

Sans only winked before they were suddenly at Riverwood.

"Wha-just like that?" Jin looked around stunned before asking Sans, "How the hell did-ja pulled that off?"

"long story, anyway time to head to the inn?" he asked.

They walked together into the Sleeping Giant Inn walking over to the innkeeper which is a blonde haired woman as she looked over seeing them, "Welcome to the Sleeping Giant Inn."

"We all would like to rent the attic room." Jin said straight to the point.

The woman blinked at that before nodding, "Attic room, eh? Well... we don't have an attic room, but you can have the one on the left. Make yourself at home."

He nodded before telling them, "Come on."

They all started to walk but the woman noticing the armor Frisk has on suddenly said, "Hang on." They looked over to her as she stared at Frisk, "Where did you get that armor? Why are you wearing it?"

"I'm... sorry, but it's not any of your business." Frisk softly answered shaking her head refusing to tell her.

"I know what that armor is, so if your saying you stole it-"

"I would never!" Frisk shook her head no, "Well if you must know... my family we're chosen to keep it safe from the Thalmor."

The woman widen her eyes hearing that before saying, "So... one of my comrades had found the Dragonborn before me first."

"Comrades... then you're a Blade?" Chara questioned hearing that.

"Not here, follow me away from prying eyes." the woman said walking before telling a man at the bar, "Orgnar you got the bar."

"Right, right." the man answered as they walked entering a room.

After Toriel closed the door behind her, the woman opened the wardrobe, and opened a false backing revealing a staircase walking down. They all followed her at that.

After that she turned over handing a horn to Jin, "So you're the Dragonborn I've been hearing so much about. I think you're looking for this."

Jin softly takes it looking it over before pocketing it as she walked over to the table placing her hands on it saying, "Now the Greybeards seem to think you're the Dragonborn. I hope they're right."

"You're the one who took the horn?" Jin asked her.

"Surprised? I guess I'm getting pretty good at my harmless innkeeper act." the woman said with a little pride before turning to Frisk, "Well maybe up till, I seen her wearing Tiber Septim's armor."

"Her family was keeping it safe." Chara told her.

"So I've heard." the woman crossed her arms before saying, "And your Frisk Dwellwyn, the descendant of the Hero of Kvatch. I'm glad we finally meet your family had a lot of good will towards there names."

"Thank you." said the semi-embarrassed Frisk, "And... who are you?"

"I am Delphine Wolkan, one of the last few members of the Blades." the woman introduced bowing politely, "I had been hoping Tiber Septim's armor had been safe since Cloud Ruler Temple was destroyed, and my hopes were held true."

Frisk rubbed her head chuckling embarrassed before Delphine narrowed her eyes at the monsters, "And I can also see, you unearthed an ancient enemy of the world above here."

"What was that?" Chara questioned. "You don't know anything about Azzy and the others."

"I do know they attempted to steal the world from the Septim Empire." Delphine said before saying, "But now's not the time to relive old scars, dragons are returning, and now the Dragonborn needs to be known." Turning to Frisk she asked, "I trust you already explained to him about what the Blades are about?"

"Yeah." Frisk nodded to her.

"What's with all the cloak and dagger though?" Jin asked her.

Delphine pointed out to him, "You can't be too careful. Thalmor spies are everywhere. Before I tell you any more, I need to make sure I can trust you."

"Make sure you can trust me?" Jin asked hearing that.

"You're the only one that can kill a dragon permanently by devouring its soul. Can you do it? Can you devour a dragon's soul?" Delphine asked him.

"Yes, that's how I first learned I was Dragonborn."

Turning to Frisk, Delphine asked her, "Had you seen this yourself?"

"Uh... no." Frisk admitted to her.

"I have, and it's true." Asgore confirmed.

"I can't take your word for it cause I don't trust you." Delphine said to him coldly, "Now be quiet."

"Why should we trust you?" Chara questioned glaring at her.

"If you don't trust me, you all were fools to walk in here in the first place." Delphine pointed out.

"STOP IT!" Frisk shouted.

"Let your elders talk." Delphine told her not turning to her.

"You better listen to what she says." Jin said to Delphine.

"She's not ready to embrace the name of a Blade, and needs to know respect for her elders." Delphine told him simply.

"We're done here." Asgore told Delphine coldly. "We have to return this horn, and you have an inn to run."

"Let's hear her out first, Asgore." Jin said to them, "She wouldn't go through this trouble to look for me for nothing."

He frowned but turned to Delphine.

"Glad to see one of you has a sense of reason." This offended Frisk, Chara, and Asriel a bit but Delphine continued, "Now onto business. You'll show me if you are Dragonborn soon enough."

"So what's the part you're not telling us?"

"Dragons aren't just coming back, they're coming back to life." Delphine revealed which shocked them, "They weren't gone somewhere for all these years. They were dead, killed off centuries ago by my, and her predecessors. Now something's happening to bring them back to life. And I need you to help me stop it."

"Do you know how crazy this sounds?" Jin asked her.

Delphine looked slightly amused. "Ha. A few years ago, I said almost the same thing to a colleague of mine. Well, it turned out he was right and I was wrong."

"But what makes you think dragons are coming back to life?" Frisk asked her surprised.

"I know they are. I've visited their ancient burial mounds and found them empty." Delphine answered pointing at a map, "And I've figured out where the next one will come back to life. We're going to go there, and you're going to kill that dragon. If we succeed, I'll tell you all anything you want to know."

"How did you figure all this out?" Jin asked her curiously.

"You all should know. You all got the map for me. The dragonstone you got for Farengar, remember?" Delphine asked.

Frisk's eyes widen. "That woman from Dragonsreach talking with Farengar."

"Exactly. The dragonstone was a map of ancient dragon burial sites. I've looked at which ones are now empty. The pattern is pretty clear. It seems to be spreading from the southeast, down in the Jeralls near Riften. The one at Kynesgrove is next if the pattern holds." Delphine said pointing at a location near Windhelm.

They looked before Jin said to her, "Well only one condition to set if we're gonna show you."

"And what would that be?"

"Try treating everyone else here with respect." Jin said to her sternly, "If you really want our aid, your gonna have to earn it by not treating others like crap. I don't know what kind of problems you have with monsters but their not like what they were before."

Delphine stared before sighing, "Well you drive a hard bargain... Fine then, I'll play nice. But it's there actions what it will take to earn my trust for them."

Hearing that Frisk frowned before she, Chara, and Asriel left the secret room.

She was looking down before turning to Chara, and Asriel, "I'm sorry she was being rude to you guys. I didn't think my comrades' distaste for monsters would still be strong at this age."

Ulrich362: Well... things are going really badly for the Undertale cast... basically being hated by a lot of people and judged harshly for the past.

bopdog111: But with given time that will fade starting with the dragon at Kynesgrove.

Ulrich362: I'm not so sure... Delphine clearly hates Monsterkind. I guess we'll see what happens at Kynesgrove though. See you in the next chapter.

bopdog111: Be sure to review!
