bopdog111: They encountered Frisk's comrade but had a bit of difficulties with her.

Ulrich362: True, Delphine... isn't fond of Monsters though to be fair she's not the brightest when it comes to old enemies. Also apologies for the delay in updates on this one.

bopdog111: She'll warm up. ...Eventually. Though now they need to handle a Dragon that Delphine is sure to manifest next.

Ulrich362: True, let's see what happens... hopefully nobody gets seriously injured fighting this dragon. Enjoy the chapter.

After talking with Delphine about the Dragon, and the destination Kynesgrove they all traveled together growing into Stormcloak Territory to get there. Jin managed to convince Delphine to be nicer to the monsters but old habits die hard as evident by her treatment. Frisk couldn't believe someone like Delphine still has this kind of hatred of monsters but hopes Delphine would see her friends not the bad guys some time worried.

Eventually they all see Kynesgrove where they notice something like a black evil looking dragon was flying overhead roaring loud. A Nord woman was running towards them as they noticed that.

"No, you don't want to go up there! A dragon... it's attacking!" she warned fearfully.

They looked over to her as Jin asked her, "Where's this dragon?"

"It flew over town and landed on the old dragon burial mound." the woman answered before shaking her head saying fearfully, "I don't know what it's doing up there, but I'm not waiting around to find out!" She ran out in fear at that.

Mettaton voiced to everyone, "If a Dragon is at the Burial Mound what's it doing there?"

"I have a sneaking suspicion it has something to do with Dragons coming back to life. Come on we better get up there." Jin said to everyone at that before telling Frisk, Chara, and Asriel, "And try to stay out of sight you three."

"... No." Frisk frowned. "You know I can't do that."

"Yeah why should we be hidden when we came here to kill it?" Delphine was in agreement with Frisk despite her hatred of monsters. "We're here to kill a dragon not sneak on it."

"We don't want to catch the Dragon's attention." Jin pointed out to her. "Believe me from personal experience fighting a dragon will be the hairest fight you can get yourself into. At the very least we need to observe how exactly Dragons are being revived, and if we charge in, we might miss an important detail. It be best to watch, and find out useful info before we fight."

"I wasn't saying that." Frisk clarified. "Like I said before I'm... part of a group that was created to fight against Dragons like that."

"I know the Akaviri Dragonguard. But we need to find out what we're dealing against." Jin said to her.

"Alright, then what's our plan?" Asgore inquired to Jin only to pause and turn to Delphine instead. "Actually, you knew the dragon would be here so you should decide."

"I'm not sure what the plan of attack might be." Delphine in truth had an urge to snap at Asgore to not speak but held her tongue to not compromise the agreement she, and Jin has. "We should follow by the Dragonborn's lead, and watch from a distance to see what's happening up there."

The all nodded at that before quietly heading up to the Dragon while trying to stay hidden from it. They approached up arriving at a buried mound with the dragon up in the air above it as it spoke in a cold demonic voice, "Sahloknir! Ziil gro dovah ulse!" It then charged a shout calling, "SLEN TIID VO!"

Energy gathered at the mound before something burst out roaring showing a dragon skeleton while flesh, and scales started to form around the bones regenerating all the way to normal showing itself as a dark blue scaled dragon with black spikes on it's back.

"What the?" Chara whispered in disbelief. "It's coming back from the dead?"

"Flesh Time Undo..." Frisk recognizes the shout that the black dragon used, "The dragon above revived that dragon with a shout that undone death on the one it just revived."

That's when Undyne noticed the expression on Jin's face. "What's wrong with you?"

"That Dragon... It's..." Jin said staring at the dragon above.

"Alduin, thuri! Boaan tiid vokriiha suleyksejun kruziik?" the revived dragon asked the dragon above looking up.

"Geh, Sahloknir, kaali mir." the dragon known as Alduin nodded confirming before he suddenly turned over towards the group, "Ful, losei Dovahkiin?" That startled everyone that he spots them before he stated, "Zu'u koraav nid nol dov do hi."

"Frisk, can you understand what he's saying?" Asriel asked her nervously.

Frisk shivered from being spotted by the dragon before saying what it told them, "'S-So, you are Dragonborn? I see none of the dragonkind on you'."

"Ah, so one understands the dov tongue. Such arrogance, to dare take for yourself the name of Dovah." Alduin sneered at Jin who growled up to him before the dragon turned to the revived dragon, "Sahloknir, krii daar joorre."

Frisk widen her eyes translating, "'Kill these mortals'! Look out guys!"

Hearing that everyone got ready for a fight as Chara, Asriel, and Frisk also drew their weapons. Alduin flew off just as Sahloknir flapped his wings to fight.

(Cue Theme: Demon Combat DQ5)

"I am Sahloknir! Hear my Voice and despair!" Sahloknir declared flying up above them while the group defends before calling, "YOL TOOR SHUL!" He fired a flame breath at the group which they dodged avoiding the attack while Delphine takes out a bow firing it which missed Sahloknir as he flew around.

Turning to the skeleton brothers Jin asked them, "Can you two ground it like before?"

"OF COURSE!" Papyrus grinned as he held out his hand and Sahloknir began glowing blue.

Feeling the effects Sahloknir shook around. Unlike Mirmulnir, Sahloknir seems to be resisting it but is taking a bit of effort. Seeing that Sans shrugged as his eye started to glow and the two Skeletons combined their magic to drag him to the ground.

Sahloknir was practically crashed into the ground from the combined magics of Sans, and Papyrus. As he slowly gets up Undyne, and Asgore both charged in together as Undyne let out a battle cry smacking Sahloknir's head with one spear forcing it back before he moved to snap his jaws which Undyne jumped back to dodge before Asgore moved to stab the dragon's shoulder with his trident which Sahloknir moved his wing up to avoid before slamming it's wing down but Asgore dodged to the right just as Toriel fired a fireball at Sahloknir forcing the dragon back a bit.

Jin while seeing this told the kids, "Okay you three, remember what I taught you three. This is for real."

They all nodded at that as Chara tightened her grip on her dagger, Asriel took a deep breath, and Frisk swallowed nervously but looked ready to follow his lead.

Jin at that charged in with the kids following behind as Jin let out a battlecry slashing down at Sahloknir's left wing slashing it which Sahloknir roared turning his head, and used it's tail to swipe at them which Jin ducked to avoid just as he turned giving Asriel a boost in the air up the dragon's back before taking Chara in his arms sliding underneath Sahloknir for Chara to land her shot. She stabbed at Sahloknir's stomach just as Asriel tried slashing his back causing him to roar in pain before shaking Asriel off and nearly stepping on Jin and Chara.

Frisk meanwhile ran in letting out a battle cry slashing Sahloknir's tail slashing it off which the dragon roared as it's tail landed on the ground which Sahloknir flew away to get some distance before calling, "FO KRAH DIIN!" He shot a ice wave attack towards the group. Seeing that Frisk ran in front of Sans and created her Lesser Ward to protect him. It held but broke when it ended as Frisk shake her head to get rid of the dizzy spell before Jin stood up calling, "FUS RO!"

The semi-powerful Unrelenting Force struck Sahloknir who stood before saying, "Your voice is strong... for a mortal."

"That's not all I can do!" Jin called charging forward with Delphine beside him as Sahloknir moved to snap his jaw which they both dodged, and together slashed Sahloknir's head before Delphine jumped on the dragon's head as it roared shaking to get her off before she let out a large battlecry stabbing Sahloknir in the eye making him roar in agony shaking before after a second collapsed dead.

Delphine jumped off pulling her sword out just as Sahloknir started to glow bright. They watched as the flesh, and scales burned off of Sahloknir before they see Jin spread his arms as the energy from Sahloknir seems to be absorbed into him like with Mirmulnir before all that remained of the dragon was it's skeleton. Now convinced Delphine said in disbelief, "So you really are..."

"That... how did you do that?" Chara asked in shock.

Jin looked at his hands before he said to Chara, "This was just like before... like what Master Arngeir said, I take the life force, and knowledge of slain dragons, and Delphine said, I kill a dragon for good by devouring it's soul... That was probably what they both meant by what happened."

The Monsters all shuddered at that as Asriel looked down only for Chara and Frisk to gently take his hands.

"So now what?" Asgore asked.

"Well I owe you all some answers, don't I?" Delphine brought up as they turned to her before shrugging, "Go ahead. Whatever you want to know. Nothing held back."

"What do you know about the dragons coming back?" Jin asked her.

"Not a damn thing. I was just as surprised as you to find that big black dragon here."

Jin frowned before looking down deep in thought.

"You acted like you saw it before." Asgore mentioned.

"I have." Jin answered at that, "It was the same dragon that attacked Helgen, that time when Ulfric was to be executed."

"Interesting. Same dragon... Damn it, we're blundering around in the dark here! We need to figure out who's behind it all!" Delphine frowned.

"You got any ideas on that?" Undyne asked her.

Delphine slowly nodded as the monsters nodded she starts to warm up to them. "The Thalmor are our best lead. If they aren't involved, they'll know who is."

Confused Jin asked her, "The Thalmor? Why believe they know anything?"

"Nothing solid. Yet. But my gut tells me it can't be anybody else." Delphine answered before then saying a short version of her story, "The Empire had captured Ulfric. The war was basically over." She then grew suspicious, "Then a dragon attacks, Ulfric escapes, and the war is back on. And now the dragons are attacking everywhere, indiscriminately. Skyrim is weakened, the Empire is weakened." She then asked to them, "Who else gains from that but the Thalmor?"

"Wait, but are they even strong enough to control a dragon?" Asriel asked in confusion. "Is that possible?"

"the prince has a point, I doubt any mortal race could make a dragon do what they want." Sans agreed.

"Well right now we don't have another lead over who is orchestrating this." Delphine said to them before saying, "Right now, our best bet is to investigate what they know."

"But do you know how we can do that?" Toriel asked her concerned.

Delphine gives some thought before getting an idea. "If we could get into the Thalmor Embassy... it's the center of their operations in Skyrim... Problem is, that place is locked up tighter than a miser's purse. They could teach me a few things about paranoia..."

"So you don't know how to get in?"

"I'm not sure yet. I have a few ideas, but I'll need some time to pull things together..." Delphine admitted before then stating to them, "Meet me back in Riverwood. If I'm not back when you get there, wait for me. I shouldn't be long. Keep an eye on the sky. This is only going to get worse." That was before she turned to the monsters, "And all of you..."

"Be very careful what you say next." Chara warned her.

Delphine only stared before bowing down which surprised them, "Please forgive my rash unacceptable behavior. I was so hellbent over the past actions it clouded my judgement of you all."

"You don't have to bow." Asgore told her softly. "I understand why you were hesitant to trust us and even if you still are. Trust is something we'll have to earn and that's going to take time."

Delphine rose up nodding, "I'll meet you all back at Riverwood. Don't take long." She walked off at this.

Frisk frowned at that. "Actually... do you guys mind if Sans and I go somewhere else?"

"where too kid?" Sans asked her.

"... Winterhold." she answered.

"Does he even know how to get there?" Jin asked hearing that, "If he doesn't you should take a carriage from Whiterun to get there first."

"then we'll head to Whiterun, I know a shortcut." Sans winked as he and Frisk disappeared.

"Could've waited for all of us." Jin grumbled before shrugging, "Well now everyone we should head to Kynesgrove's inn to rest until he returns."

"That might be a while, I think Frisk is planning on studying at the College of Winterhold you mentioned." Asriel pointed out.

"So we got to walk at Whiterun? Talk about a while." Undyne groaned at that.

Alphys shook her head, "N-Not to worry, I had something with Mettaton made for this."

"Really, what is it?" Asriel asked her.

Alphys gestured as Mettaton started forming before it formed into a black metal bus.

"You've outdone yourself Alphys." Asgore smiled. "You as well Mettaton."

"W-What the hell? Is that thing a carriage!?" Jin was quite shocked from the transformation into the vehicle from never seeing this, "Just what kind of magic is this stuff?"

"We'll fill you in on the way back." Undyne smiled.

With that everyone got in the bus with Jin the last slowly getting in as it drove off back to Whiterun.

Meanwhile a few hours later...

Sans, and Frisk dropped down from a carriage arriving at Winterhold while Sans hands a bag of gold to the driver before Frisk looked over the town, "...Winterhold is smaller then I thought." She looked over to the large temple, "And there is the college."

Frisk looked over to him, and slowly nodded, "But... can you stay with me until we're sure I'll be okay?"

'no problem Frisk.' Sans smiled as the two of them walked through Winterhold towards the College.

They walked up just as a woman that was standing on guard gestured them to stop, "Halt!" They looked seeing she's an Altmer Elf but not among any of the Thalmor who introduce herself to the two, "Welcome to the College of Winterhold. I am Faralda, one of the senior Wizards here." She bowed before raising up. "I trust you found your journey to Winterhold not entirely unpleasant. Now, I must advise you two that if your only purpose in being here is to complain, you would be far better off speaking with the Jarl of Winterhold. If, however, you seek something more, I will be happy to assist you."

Frisk blinked at this before asking her confused. "Why are you out here?"

"I am here to assist those seeking the wisdom of the College." Faralda answered shrugging before then adding. "And if, in the process, my presence helps to deter those who might seek to do harm, so be it." She then asked Frisk, "The more important question is: why are you here?"

"Oh... I'm here to be a student." Frisk answered with a small smile, "Can I join the college?"

Faralda looks interested hearing that staring at Frisk before asking her, "Perhaps. But what is it you expect to find within?"

Hearing that Frisk gives some thought to think the right words for her answer before then saying, "I wish to be stronger with my magic. I learned how to use it since I was younger but I think the College will help guide me to the right place."

Faralda turned to Sans not minding he's a skeleton for his input about that.

"she's a smart and tough kid, she'll be ok here but just in case I'll be keeping an eye socket out for her." he answered winking.

Faralda blinked before shaking her head, "Well if all you want is to have mastery of your magic, and guiding to the right track then you've come to the right place." She turned back to Frisk before saying, "The question now is what you can offer the College. Not just anyone is allowed inside. Those wishing to enter must show some degree of skill with magic. A small test, if you will."

"What kind of test?"

"A standard spell for one skilled in Destruction magic is the Firebolt. Casting it on the seal on the ground here would be sufficient." Faralda answered gesturing to the symbol on the ground.

Frisk looked before nodding remembering the Firebolt, Jin casted, and closed her eyes to focus on it. She took a slow deep breath as flames appeared in her hand and she fired a small and weak Firebolt at the seal. The seal glowed from being hit as Faralda watched, and smiled to Frisk, "Well done, indeed. I think you'll be a superb addition to the College." She bowed over to Frisk, "Welcome, Apprentice. I'll lead you across the bridge. Once you're inside you'll want to speak with Mirabelle Ervine, our Master Wizard. Please, follow me."

With that she walked in with Frisk, and Sans following behind her as she lights some ways before the gates opened gesturing them in, "Good luck apprentice."

"So... who's Mirabelle Ervine?" Frisk asked her.

"She's the Master-Wizard here. Arch-Mage Aren may be in charge, but Mirabelle runs the place. You'd do well to remember that." Faralda said before walking off back to the entrance of the bridge.

Frisk slowly takes Sans hand as they walked in over the center of the courtyard before they see two people talking, and Frisk froze seeing one of them. Sans frowned. "don't worry kid, I'm right here."

Ulrich362: The group has split up with most of them back in Whiterun while Sans and Frisk have arrived at the College of Winterhold.

bopdog111: Delphine now has confirmed that Jin's indeed the Dragonborn, and is making plans on figuring out who's behind the Dragon Attacks but it seems like Frisk has her own problems in the College in Winterhold.

Ulrich362: True, but hopefully she can learn some more magic that could help Jin. Though... she understands the Dragon tongue?

bopdog111: Yeah that was suppose to be explained at the end of the chapter here but A/N is good enough. To put it simply she been with the Blades for a while, and since Esbern knows some things about the Dragon Tongue, Frisk probably learned about it too.

Ulrich362: Fair enough, and it's possible her parents had some information on the Dragons before what happened. That said, next up... Frisk starts her studies, Jin trains Asriel and Chara a bit more, and... maybe meeting this Kodlak Whitemane they heard about while Delphine comes up with a plan?

bopdog111: Oh yeah. The kids had there own side points that Jin would originally take but Frisk, Asriel, and Chara would take them for their own talents to shine. For Frisk's case she has low mastery on magic, and using it to help her friends so the College of Winterhold will do well to help guide her on that along with taking care of a threat from the Thalmor AKA Ancano.

Ulrich362: Sounds good, see you in the next chapter.

bopdog111: Be sure to review!
