bopdog111: Okay well we've seen the King of Worms himself here.
Ulrich362: True, it looks like Frisk's ancestor the Hero of Kvatch didn't finish him off after all.
bopdog111: As 'killing a physical form is not the same as killing a God' from what Mannimarco said. The Necromancer's Moon is Mannimarco's true form which is untouchable right now. But now there gonna get Asriel from the Companions, and then after that probably meeting back up with Delphine of how to infiltrate the Thalmor Embassy.
Ulrich362: Makes sense to me, enjoy the chapter.

Right now everyone was heading out for Whiterun deciding to make time to discuss there options with Mannimarco, and what everyone founded out so far. Starting with Chara receiving a letter from someone who is acting like the Dark Brotherhood, keeping in mind a keep called Fellgow Keep for them to retrieve books about the artifact Frisk, and the others found, and other things chatting about, and right now Frisk is telling tales of her Grandfather's journeys through Cyrodill, and now discussing a topic known as 'Knights of the Nine'.
"...Then after he defeated Umaril, he used Talos' Blessing to follow his soul to the afterlife where he destroyed Umaril's soul from within which finally places Penial Whitestrake to rest after his ancient foe was finally destroyed for good now that Umaril can no longer threaten Tamirel ever again." Frisk finished up the story over the Knights of the Nine tale. "The Knights remain active serving the Nine Divines but grandfather laid down the Crusader artifacts there wasn't anymore need for them as Umaril is now gone, and the Oblivion Crisis is over. But he trusts that the order will keep them safe when the Divine Crusader is needed again."
"WOWEE, THAT IS TRULY AN AMAZING THING TO HAVE DONE!" Papyrus mentioned hearing the story only to pause.
"your great great great great grandfather sounds like a really determined guy." Sans mentioned. "guess it runs in the family?"
"Yeah, he doesn't allow anything to fall down to chaos." Frisk admitted with a smile over glad to relive the tales she heard about her Grandfather. "Of course he kept training at times even after he's nicknamed the Champion of Cyrodill. The Imperial Dragon Armor he has can only be worn by the Emperors of Tamriel but the Champion of Cyrodill is an exception to the rule. Tiber Septim's armor, I'm wearing is his copy of said armor though it lost it's enchantment. Grandfather trained well by fighting in Cyrodill's grand imperial arena."
"The arena huh? So he trains to prepare by fighting gladiators who should be weaker then any of Dagon's minions?" Jin questioned hearing that since any of the fighters within the arena should not be on the same level as these Scamps, Dremora Soldiers, Clannfears or what else is within the Gates of Oblivion. "Or perhaps Camoran's Mythic Dawn assassins?"
"Well I guess..." Frisk trailed off. "He shown people how to close the Gates so I guess they had been prepared over."
"It doesn't matter how weak the fighters in the arena are if they help him learn strategies in combat." Asgore pointed out.
"True."
"Well... there is one Gladiator that really tested himself." Frisk recalled.
"Who was that?" Undyne asked curiously leaning forward to hear more about this gladiator.
"His name is Agronak gro-Malog. He is one of Tamirel's few hybrids born from an Imperial father, and an Orc mother." Frisk started to explain the guy. "He also is nicknamed the Gray Prince as the Grand Champion within the arena. He spends day, after day just training within the arena's barracks."
"Sounds like someone I could get along with." Undyne grinned at that.
Frisk then frowned sadly. "Well... not really all that grand. You see... his father was a vampire."
"A vampire!" Toriel cried in shock.
"Th... they're real, I thought they were only in anime." Alphys admitted nervously.
"Agronak asked for my grandfather to find the truth within as his father's true self was hidden by his mother only telling him Crowhaven is the place where he was conceived." Frisk started to explain further ahead. "My grandfather managed to find it where Lord Lovidicus, the lord of Crowhaven having grown blood-starved for years drove him mad, and he slew him. Then he found the book that shows of Agronak's origins. He knows that Agronak will not be happy about it... but he already fought, and defeated Agronak when he went. So Agronak never found out the truth as my grandfather took his request in his memory, and found out about his Vampire heritage. He admitted it was probably better Agronak never knew of his father's vampirism."
"Was it though?" Chara asked quietly. "He died never knowing what kind of person his father was... that doesn't seem fair."
Frisk frowned looking down from that. "Honestly...? I don't know... I know Agronak deserved to know what his origins we're like... but all to find out he's a part Vampire... something from the Daedra... that'll be devastating to him."
"But hey... the battle for the title of Grand Champion of the Arena was certainly a battle that really tested my Grandfather's skills cause Agronak was a really powerful foe from both his vampire blood, and his abilities for being an Orc, and an Imperial." Frisk assured to light up the mood with a soft smile. "I think Agronak loved the battle he fought, and glad he fell in glory like how some warriors do."
"That sounds like something a warrior like him would love." Asgore nodded as he got off the carriage before helping Toriel and the others off. "What do you think Jin?"
"I don't fight for glory, or anything. Only to survive, destroy the Thalmor, and help others." Jin stated over to them. "Fighting for Glory is only a hindrance for me, I only see fighting as a way to deal with threats like the dragons, and the Thalmor. I used to battle for glory for the empire before what had happened to my family by Elenwen. So I just left the glory code behind now fighting in the name for revenge against the Thalmor."
Asgore nodded in understanding at that. "Well, hopefully we can help you however we can."
"But Jin," Frisk frowned over towards the ex-Argonian Soldier. "You do know that revenge will bring you nothing do you?" He looked up towards her hearing that as she continued over. "Fighting the Thalmor isn't gonna bring your family back. I know how mad you are but you shouldn't fight them for revenge."
"...I know. Your better then I am Frisk." Jin said grimly turning away. "I do know, and understand that no matter how many Thalmor I slew nor how long I walk in the shadows of death against them, it will never bring back what I have lost to me. The satisfaction at feeling there blood on my hands feels nice but it really isn't what the answer is... still I got nothing to lose so I can't stop my path." He then looked over towards everyone. "And besides... the Thalmor need to be stopped so even if it wasn't for revenge, they still need to be stopped for what there planning to do."
"What are they planning to do?" Toriel inquired hearing that.
"I don't know but it has to be something over this Elven Supremacy." Jin admitted over. "First we have Delphine telling us how the Thalmor gains lots of benefits about the dragon attacks even if we have our doubts, Talos Worship banned with the Blades disbanded, and now Mannimarco coming back after Frisk's grandfather slew him... it must be SOMETHING but we don't even know the first damn thing over what exactly that SOMETHING is."
"We'll figure it out together." Asgore told him calmly.
Jin slowly as they moved only for him to notice a mohawk like Redguard nearby waiting as he nodded which Jin nodded back before turning. "Well before we pick up Asriel let's get Iman to that gentleman over there."
They nodded waiting at the Bannered Mare where they see Jin guiding Saadia out of the bar, and out into the gate. Then after waiting for about a minute Jin walked back over carrying a huge bag of gold over looking over nodding to them.
"They're going to execute her, aren't they?" Frisk frowned slightly.
"Kematu back there assured me she'll not be harmed during the ride back to Hammerfell. But he can't promise me that she'll be fine when they get back." Jin answered over. "Treason bares a price for a reason."
"That's true..." Alphys agreed uncertainly.
Chara frowned looking in the direction Jin came from with the money before closing her eyes.
"Come. Let's get Asriel, and be off to Riverwood." Jin decided over to not go down in the gloomy mood.
"True, I wonder what he's been doing." Frisk smiled.
So they walked together eventually arriving to find Asriel in the back courtyard looking to be training with Aela, and Vilkas.
Aela moved making a slash that Asriel blocked before Vilkas moved with a kick that Asriel seen, and moved his body dodging before using his twin swords over to try attacking which Aela, and Vilkas both blocked with there swords or shields, and moved over where Aela pulled her bow firing some arrows that Asriel dodged over or used one of his swords to knock one away before Vilkas charged in catching Asriel off guard slashing both of Asriel's swords out of his hands, and sweep his foot down knocking Asriel on his back before pointing his sword at Asriel's neck stopping him.
"Well you certainly can stop a raid of Bandits but your still a whelp to us." Vilkas stated sheathing his sword, and offered a hand which Asriel takes allowing the man to help Asriel get up. "But I can tell that you keep this training up, you'll be raising the ranks quick."
Asriel nodded only to notice Frisk and the others as he smiled.
"Azzy!" Frisk ran hugging Asriel in a big hug.
He smiled hugging her. "I missed you."
He then turned to Chara and immediately gasped running to her. "What's wrong?"
Chara hugged him shuddering while Jin frowned over saying over. "We've encountered a... situation. To put it short she ended a life."
Asriel gasped hugging her tighter.
"Some kind of cruel headmaster at an orphanage." Frisk admitted to Asriel frowning walking over. "Someone named Aventus was contacting the Dark Brotherhood to kill her, and Chara tried to end it peacefully... it just happened."
"I murdered someone." Chara frowned. "Like the awful humans on the surface."
Asriel hugged her closer which Frisk joined in all hugging there sister close to them.
"They're close." Aela noted seeing that.
"Fellow Shield-Siblings..." Vilkas guessed over from that.
Frisk gave Chara's cheek a small kiss. "Come on... let's head to Riverwood."
"Sure, that sounds like a plan." Asriel smiled.
So they all nodded exiting after bidding bye to Vilkas, and Aela for now heading out entering Riverwood looking around before entering the Sleeping Giant Inn walking to the counter where Orgnar was. Noticing them he gestured over to the room where the secret room is. "Delphine's waiting for you all down there."
Nodding they walked into the secret room. Delphine was there reading over a book before noticing them coming, and looked over. "Alright I was waiting for you all. I have a plan. I've figured out how we're going to get you into the Thalmor Embassy."
"You aren't coming?" Jin asked confused.
"That would be a bad idea. I'd be too likely to attract the wrong kind of attention." Delphine explained which is probably a good point. "But they don't know you at all, yet."
"Well not exactly true..." Jin admitted over. "I've fought the Thalmor for revenge so it's probably bound for me to be recognized as I was a former Soldier for the Imperial Empire."
"Damn it, you couldn't keep your grudge to yourself can you?"
"Try losing everything to the Thalmor, and see where that takes you." Jin glared over towards her. "But I do know someone they don't know though."
"Who?" Asriel asked him curiously.
Jin only turned over towards Frisk.
"Huh, me?" Frisk asked in shock.
"From what you explained over towards us, you were least involved with the Thalmor, and as you weren't an official member of the Blades by the time Cloud Ruler Temple was destroyed, they should have no records about you." Jin answered over knelling down. "And that since you been adopted by House Dreemurr you can keep your real name hidden from them as your Grandfather's name would surly let them know your a Blade spy. So you head in as Frisk Dreemurr, and find out what they know. I understand this is a dangerous mission but you got the most experience with the Thalmor who they don't know then either of us, and I think you can manage."
"Except... I ran into an important Thalmor, Elenwen's husband." Frisk frowned.
"Does he know your a Blade or some kind of threat to him though?"
"I think he's suspicious of me since I found some kind of mystical orb." Frisk admitted.
"Well right now he doesn't know who you really are, and that his suspicions aren't confirmed. So as long as you keep your head down if he's present, you can do this." Jin assured her taking her shoulder. "I trust you for this. Okay?"
Frisk blinked but nodded. "Ok, I'll do my best."
Jin nodded before raising up to Delphine for the plan. "So what's your plan? How can Frisk infiltrate the Thalmor Embassy?"
"The Thalmor ambassador, Elenwen, regularly throws parties where the rich and connected cozy up to the Thalmor. I can get her into one of those parties." Delphine explained over what she planned over before turning to Frisk. "Once you're inside the Embassy, you get away and find Elenwen's secret files. I have a contact inside the Embassy. He's not up for this kind of high-risk mission, but he can help you. His name's Malborn. Wood elf, plenty of reason to hate the Thalmor. You can trust him. I'll get word for him to meet you in Solitude, at the Winking Skeever - you know it?" Frisk softly shook her head no. "Well when you enter Solitude asked for the Winking Skeever. While you're doing that, I'll work on getting you an invitation to Elenwen's little party. Meet me at the Solitude stables after you've arranged things with Malborn. Any questions?"
"Should Frisk really go in by herself?" Alphys asked.
"Well maybe just one of you. Anymore, and it'll be suspicious." Delphine admitted over. "It be better if she be by herself but she can bring one of you in case."
"I'll be ok." Frisk mentioned. "So... we should go to Solitude now?"
They nodded if there prepared heading out. First they headed to the Riverwood Trader for supplies they need, and after that took the carriage to Solitude.
"Never thought, I'd laid my eyes on this crumbling bastion again..." Jin trailed off frowning as he stared at the city in front of them.
"Crumbling?" Chara asked hearing that.
"I don't want to talk about it." Something about his past he doesn't want to share right now as he as a former Soldier probably been to Solitude before.
"Please have pity on an old mad man!" the man begged over towards them.
They blinked over surprised from this before Jin softly handed a septim. "Uh sure here."
"Oh thank you, Divines bless your kind heart!" the man takes the septim pocketing it after Jin helped him take it. Sensing something he turned over towards who he senses it which was Frisk. "Oh master is that you?"
"Huh?" she asked shocked. "Master? I'm not anyone's master… I don't want to be."
"Oh master did you take a new form like before?"
Jin takes his shoulder before he approached softly pushing him away. "Hey listen bud, Frisk isn't your master. She doesn't even know who you are."
"Are you sure? She feels like my master." the man said over towards them. "Just her presence allows me to feel she is."
Frisk shuddered again.
"Let's ignore him." Toriel suggested.
They all agreed but the man hands the hip bone towards Frisk before he leaves. "Here. You can talk with the master if you have this, and travel within the Pelagius Wing in the Blue Palace. I feel you are him but you aren't. Maybe if you speak to each other you can know."
Frisk shuddered more placing the hip bone in her bag to keep for later while making a note. Arriving in Solitude they hear a girl's voice protesting. "They can't hurt uncle Roggvir. Tell them he didn't do it."
Hearing that they all looked over where a man was about to be executed.
"Positions."
An older man probably the girl's father with her turned over towards her. "Svari, you need to go home. Go home and stay there until your mother comes."
She pouted but turned away walking off
"You should tell her that her uncle is scum that betrayed his High King. Best she know now, Addvar." a Breton woman voiced over to the man.
"You're all heart, Vivienne." the man sighed over.
A beard, and mustached man probably the captain of Solitude's guard begin talking to the man. "Roggvir. You helped Ulfric Stormcloak escape this city after he murdered High King Torygg. By opening that gate for Ulfric you betrayed the people of Solitude."
The man, Roggvir frowned walking up to address is peace.
"Traitor!"
"He doesn't deserve to speak!"
"There was no murder! Ulfric challenged Torygg. He beat the High King in fair combat." Roggvir denied the claims pointing out what he saw.
"Liar!"
"Such as our way! Such as the ancient custom of Skyrim, and all Nords!" Roggvir called out.
The crowd booed loud while the Breton woman, Vivienne, yelled out. "Cut 'em down!"
"Guard. Prepare the prisoner."
"I don't need your help." Roggvir glared at the captain.
"Very well, Roggvir. Bow your head."
Roggvir at that gets on his knees lowering down with his head on the chopping block closing his eyes as the executioner readied the axe. "On this day... I go to Sovngarde."
Frisk, Chara, and Asriel turned away just as the headmaster swung the axe down decapitating Roggvir easily as his lifeless body dropped down. The captain stared down frowning over at his former comrade's corpse. "Damn shame Roggvir, you were a good man."
That's when someone noticed the Monsters in the middle of town.
"Who are they?" one of them asked surprised seeing this.
Jin merely stared over at Roggvir's corpse for several seconds, and frowned. "If there this quick to judge then the Empire are bigger fools then I remembered..." He turned over to the group. "Let's head to the Winking Skeever, and be done with this hellhole."
Papyrus however had walked up to one of the guards. "PARDON ME HUMAN, BUT WHAT WAS THE REASON TO KILL HIM? COULDN'T YOU HAVE SIMPLY TALKED AND COME TO A MORE PEACEFUL SOLUTION?"
"Step away skeleton." one guard pulled his sword pointing at Papyrus warning him to step back. "Are you align with the traitor?"
Papyrus took a nervous step back. "I WAS MERELY WONDERING WHY YOU HAD TO KILL HIM, WHAT CRIME DID HE COMMIT THAT COULDN'T HAVE FOUND AN ALTERNATE PUNISHMENT?"
"Guard stand down."
"As you wish Captain Aldis." the guard sheathed his sword as the captain stepped forward for Papyrus.
Not minding Papyrus was a skeleton he turned over giving his answer. "Roggvir opened the gate to Solitude for Ulfric to escape after he murdered High King Torygg. It's not my finest hour. Roggvir was a fine and honorable man but his execution was justified and necessary. Being honorable might make you a good man, but it doesn't make you right. Be a better world if it did but sometimes you just do what needs to be done. You don't have to hate a man to kill him. Though, admittedly... it helps."
"True, it's never easy to kill someone." Asgore frowned looking down. "I understand what you mean."
Jin growled taking Papyrus' shoulder. "Papyrus, I said let's do what we came to do, and get the hell out. I hate staying here any longer then we need to be."
"OF COURSE, I WAS JUST WONDERING WHY SOMEONE HAD TO DIE." Papyrus admitted before pausing. "OH, HUMAN ALDIS MAY I ASK ONE MORE QUESTION?"
"Hm, I don't see why not. What is it?" he inquired wondering what a skeleton would ask.
"WHERE CAN WE FIND THE WINKING SKEEVER?" Papyrus asked him.
"Over there." Aldis pointed over to a store that's near the gate. As they walked out Aldis blinked seeing Jin staring off. "That Argonian could he be...?" He then shook his head. "No, no of course not. He disappeared from Skyrim, Maro told me he wouldn't return... But still... Ffamran you were a damn fine man... if only my brother wasn't so antagonistic, and we've helped you out." He turned walking off to somewhere.
Entering the Winking Skeever they looked around for the Wood Elf that Delphine informed them about before finding someone in a corner walking over towards him. Noticing them walking over he looked up. "Yes?"
"Our mutual friend sent us."
Malborn blinked over at Jin. "Really? You're who she picked?" He then looked worried over. "I hope she knows what she's doing. Here's the deal. I can smuggle some equipment into the Embassy for you. Don't plan on bringing anything else in with you. The Thalmor take security very seriously. I'm ready to go. Give me what you can't live without, and I'll make sure to get it into the Embassy. The rest is up to you."
Jin nodded turning over to Frisk. "Okay Frisk that's your part. Give him your equipment, and we will continue on from there."
"Wait her? I thought it was you...?"
"The Thalmor probably know me too well from me striking them for revenge." Jin explained over.
"Oh well... I guess that makes sense." Malborn admitted before he turned to Frisk. "Okay young lady give me the things you fight with, and I'm smuggle them in."
"I... use magic though." Frisk admitted before pausing and frowning. "I can't go... we forgot something."
"What did you forget?" Malborn frowned over hearing that.
"My only armor, the armor of Tiber Septim." Frisk pointed out quietly. "If I'm caught I need something to protect myself but if they see that armor... they won't hesitate to kill me."
"no worries kid." Sans hands her a bag. "had it, and your other Blade stuff there after you changed into those robes."
"Well, ok... can you get this inside?" Frisk asked Malborn.
"Okay. I'll get this inside the Embassy for you. I've got to go. I'll find you at the party, don't worry." Malborn takes the bag nodding over.
Now done they walked exiting out which Jin sighed over. "Fuckin' finally out of there..."
"Jin you really couldn't stand being in that place?" Undyne asked him over.
"Solitude in general. It's the Imperial Empire stronghold in Skyrim, and I been in it before during my time." Jin answered over with a frown. "Also the headquarters of the Governor General Tulius. When I left the empire, I thought I would never be here again. Guess I was wrong about that. But I'd appreciate if we just do our business in Solitude, and then get back out when done if we come back without time to waste without asking too many questions."
"What about that creepy blind guy with the bone? We obviously can't go anywhere until we figure out what he was talking about." Chara pointed out.
"We're not actually gonna do what a crazy old man tell us are we?"
Frisk looked down hearing that before she admitted. "I... I want too though."
"What?" Jin turned to her.
"Even if I don't fully get why he called me his master... he said I sensed like him." Frisk admitted over to them. "And that... he said I can find him in the Pelagius Wing in the Blue Palace with the bone. I want to know why he thinks why I'm connected to his master."
Jin frowned over from this before he sighed. "Well... if you really want to do so, I won't stop you Frisk. Can we do this quickly so we can focus on the Thalmor Embassy?"
She nodded at that. "I'll try and check the Pelagius Wing quickly but... if you want to leave the city while I do you can."
"Let me, and Azzy come with you Frisk. They can wait at the stables while we check." Chara told her sister over.
"Oh, thanks Chara." Frisk smiled hugging her.
"Can you point us to the Blue Palace?" Asriel asked Jin.
"It's the tall castle at the end of the hold."
With that they nodded the kids running in while Jin sighed over telling Toriel. "Hope this doesn't come back to bite us." She frowned but nodded walking with them.
With the kids...
They ran over eventually seeing the Blue Palace entering in. They looked around not minding the guards, and maids looking around for the Pelagius Wing over before they soon find a door to a wing, and Asriel tried opening it but it's locked. A maid seeing them head over. "Can I help you three with something?"
"Yes, where can we find the Pelagius Wing?" Frisk asked her.
"The Pelagius Wing?" the maid asked shocked. "Why do you want to go there?"
"Well..."
"Uh cause... we need to clean it." Asriel brought up an excuse without revealing the real reason. "Yeah we were tasked to clean it for some service."
"Really?" the maid asked looking over before she sighed. "Well as long as nothing happens..." She reached handing a key to Asriel. "The door in front of you three is the Pelagius Wing just be careful in there."
"Thank you, we'll be very careful." Asriel smiled politely unlocking the door as the three of them walked into an extremely dusty area of the Blue Palace that was covered in cobwebs and looked like nobody had been there for years if not decades or even centuries.
"Ugh man..." Frisk brushed some webs off her face. "Why... why is it like this?"
"Maybe something you didn't know about?" Chara suggested over to her. "Either way that maid didn't seem to like us heading for the Pelagius Wing..."
"Well that guy's master is here somewhere. Let's look around."
They nodded with Asriel's sentence walking around while avoiding dust, and other things around. Soon they find a neat carpet looking out of place, and walked together before suddenly there the bone in Frisk's bag glowed bright, and suddenly they blacked out.
When the three opened there eyes they find themselves inside a large grass field wearing three fancy suits. And also they find a large table in front of them accompanied by two men.
"More tea, Pelly my dear?" one of them speaking in a large tough voice was a white haired man wearing a suit that's blue on one side, and red the other with yellow eyes while a cane is in his hand.
"Oh, I couldn't. It goes right through me. Besides, I have so many things to do. So many detractors and undesirables, naysayers, buffoons. My...My headsman hasn't slept in three days." the other man who seems to be a well dressed man admitted rubbing his head.
"You are far too hard on yourself, my dear, sweet, homicidally insane Pelagius. What would the people do without you? Dance? Sing? Smile?" the older man laughed over from this really eccentic. "Grow old? You are the best Septim that has ever ruled. Well, except for that Martin fellow, but he turned into a Dragon god, and that's hardly sporting. You know, I was there for that whole sordid affair. Marvelous time! Butterflies, blood, a Fox, a severed head... Oh, and the cheese! To die for."
"Yes, yes, as you've said countless times before." the second man, Pelagius, sighed over exhausted having heard this lots of times already.
The older man pouted from that kind of response. "Harumph! Well, if you're going to be like that, I think its best I take my leave. A good day to you, sir. I said good day!"
"Yes. Leave me to my ceaseless responsibilities and burdens." Pelagius vanished in a portal while the older man sighed drinking tea while the three Dreemurr children were really confused over what just happened in front of them.
Suddenly Frisk's eyes widened. "Wait... he was there when Martin Septim... who are you!?"
Hearing them he turned over spotting them where he frowned. "How rude! Can't be bothered to host an old friend for a decade or two." He stood up taking some steps forward in front of them. "Well since you have asked, I am the embodiment of madness, the master of the Shivering Isles, and the one who had played a major role during the Oblivion Crisis... I am SHEOGORATH! Can I get a round of applause from that!?" He looked on expecting for some cheering sounds which are heard around with some clapping but they don't see where it's coming from.
Frisk's eyes widened. "You... you're a Daedric Prince?"
"Aye, don't you know who the Prince of Madness is little girl?" Sheogorath asked her looking over before then waving his hand. "Well actually don't tell me, the better question be why are you here in the mind of Pelagius?"
"A blind beggar gave us a bone and he said I was his master." Frisk answered.
"Oh the luggage really said that?" Sheogorath laughed over from this. "Oh yeah that's a good one! Tell me another!"
"It's the truth." Chara frowned. "He said Frisk felt like his master... that's you right?"
"Oh... he really said that?" Sheogorath asked now realizing what there saying is real. "Well... I'm not sure what to explain here."
"Perhaps I can my lord."
A portal opened where someone walked through. Walking forward from the portal was a bald tall man wearing a black suit with a red collar, and some type of locket. Unlike Sheogorath he doesn't seem as eccentric as him.
"Aha! Haskill! I was wondering when you would come join the party! But you've missed ol' Pelly, if you want to see him so too bad!"
"Please my lord, I came bringing such urgent matters you need to listen too." the man, Haskill, sighed over from this before he turned over to Frisk. "I apologize for this but I have the answer of what you seek young lady."
"You do?" Frisk asked in confusion. "Well... I'd really appreciate it because I promised someone this wouldn't take a long time."
"Well to put it simply, do you remember the door that appeared when your Grandfather went in, and never left?" Haskill asked her.
Frisk blinked hearing that. "The door in Niben Bay in Cyrodil?"
"Indeed." Haskill nodded over to her. "For you see your Grandfather came onto Lord Sheogorath's personal plane of Oblivion, the realm of Shivering Isles. He is placed in a set of tasks for the Lord, and succeeded in each one. An event every 1000 years known as the Graymarch happens where Lord Sheogorath requires a champion to repel an invading force the Daedric Prince of Order, Jyggalag. A hard battle fought but the Graymarch was adverted however Jyggalag revealed one secret about himself, and Sheogorath after your Grandfather defeated him."
"What kind of secret? What did Frisk's ancestor learn?" Asriel asked curiously.
"Both Jyggalag, and Lord Sheogorath are one, and the same." Haskill explained over to them. "Jyggalag once ruled the Shivering Isles with order as the most powerful of the Daedra Princes. So much so that the other Princes became feared of his power, and did something they will never do again: Working together. They warped Jyggalag's form into Lord Sheogorath where he converted his realm into madness, and whenever the Graymarch is complete, he would destroy Shivering Isles to restore order, and be free however he turns back afterward in a cycle where Lord Sheogorath rebuilds what Jyggalag destroys. But during the final Graymarch, your grandfather defeated Jyggalag, and freed him from the curse. He left Shivering Isles forever with gratitude for your Grandfather, and never went back as the Prince of Madness again."
"Wait, but that's impossible!" Chara argued pointing at Sheogorath. "Didn't you just say you were Sheogorath?"
"Ah yes, I am simply the Sheogorath that went into service after ol' Jyggy left the realm." Sheogorath moved his hand nonchalantly.
"I was about to get to that." Haskill sighed over. "Well simply put Lord Sheogorath's champion had a greater reward that Jyggalag bestowed: The Title of the Prince of Madness."
Frisk froze at that. "That... you mean...
"Yes. Lord Sheogorath is your missing Grandfather."
Snapping his fingers Haskill made a spell as a large light enveloped Sheogorath blinding everyone.
The three of them cried out shielding their eyes. When the light faded they checked who was there.
(Cue Theme: Dearly Beloved)
It was an Imperial man having on golden armor resembling Tiber Septim's armor which was identified by Frisk as Imperial Dragon Armor only worn by the Septim Emperors. His eyes were closed but when he opened them show there jade green looking over. Frisk looked at him in utter disbelief seeing him. "It... it's him."
The man stared before looking over himself, turned over to Haskill. "Haskill...?" The man softly nodded before he softly stood up looking around before noticing the three kids with one staring at him stunned. "So... are you the one who finally found the truth about me?"
"Frisk... Frisk is your descendant." Asriel mentioned after a few moments. "So... when you disappeared, you became a Daedric Prince?"
"Yes... probably my biggest price to pay." the man admitted looking at Frisk before opening his arms offering her a chance to embrace him. Frisk looked at him before tearing up running and jumping into his arms starting to cry.
He hugged her back softly with a soft smile rubbing her head. "I'm sorry for leaving you all behind... but I had to manage Shivering Isles so it doesn't go into bad kinds of chaos." She looked up with tears as he smiled to her. "Now... mind telling me your name?"
"It... It's Frisk Dreemurr, I was adopted by the King and Queen of the Underground, the rumors were all true about Mt. Ebott." Frisk answered. "These are my adoptive brother and sister, Asriel, and Chara."
He looked up as the two waved over which he softly smiled over. "Well... I'm Vipsanius... Vipsanius Dwellwyn. You two probably know me as the Hero of Kvatch, the Champion of Cyrodill, the Divine Crusader all of that... I'm glad to see my granddaughter is safe, and sound. Well since we have time tell me... how's everything going back at Tamirel?"
They frowned over which he looked around, and frowned seeing there not answering over. "Did... Did something happen?"
"It's... a long story, but civil war in Skyrim, Tales Worship is banned, the Thalmor are taking over, and the Blades were destroyed." Frisk frowned.
"What?" Vipsanius asked shocked hearing that. "How could this have happened? What's going on?"
"Let me relay what's happening my lord." Haskill walked over placing a hand on Vipsanius' head, and throughout memories, and events played in his head. When it was done Vipsanius was horrified before he hugged Frisk. "Oh Divines child... I'm so sorry for what you've been through."
"But... we're trying to do something. I'm planning on looking into the Thalmor Embassy right now... but, how do we get back?" Frisk asked uncertainly.
"He will of course will you all to head back." Haskill brought up towards them. "However if you manage to do something for him before then."
"Huh, what's that?" Asriel asked curiously.
"It be better if he in his new form can explain."
"Just... have me back to normal before there off okay? It's been a long time since I've shed that shell." Vipsanius requested which Haskill nodded before he turned to Frisk. "You'll be seeing me as Sheogorath again, and please don't take what he says personally, he's the very definition of eccentric. But don't worry as soon as you finish whatever he wants you for, you can get out of here, and see me again."
Frisk nodded. "It's ok, he's the prince of madness so I kind of expect him to be... not all there."
"I can't tell if I'm either glad or afraid that you said that... makes me think you starting to understand madness." Vipsanius admitted hearing that.
Frisk stepped back as Haskill snapped his fingers again which made Vipsanius turn back into Sheogorath who grinned standing up. "Well, so now a task is quite upon us! As I'm sure Haskill said to ya, a great task is needed before I return to Shivering Isles, and for you all to leave! See I'm done with my little vacation here, I just need something to be done. To start is finding a way out, good luck with that."
"You mean you don't know how to get back?" Chara questioned in disbelief.
"Do I? I never said I'm sure, how much time off could a demented Daedra really need? But of course, I know how to get back, but is it really how? That's for you kids to find out."
Frisk frowned over deciding to go along with it. "So... what's the catch with this?"
"Ha! I do love it when the mortals know they're being manipulated. Makes things infinitely more interesting." Sheogorath grinned over hearing that as Frisk is aware of this before spreading his arms slowly spin around. "Care to take a look around? This is not, I dare say, the Solitude botanical gardens. Have you any idea where you are? Where you truly are? Welcome to the deceptively verdant mind of the Emperor Pelagius III." Frisk blinked looking around before recalling that man that Sheogorath was talking too earlier he called him 'Pelly' or 'Pelagius', "That's right! Your all in the head of a dead, homicidally insane monarch. Now, I know what you're thinking. Can I still rely on my swords and spells and sneaking and all that nonsense? Sure, sure. Or... you could use..." He raised a hand with his index, and thumb connected while his other fingers are spread in the ok handsign as he moved two fingers in, and pulled out something from the hole. "The Wabbajack! Huh? Huh? Didn't see that coming, did you?" The thing he is balancing with the palm of his hand was a gray staff that has three expressions of a screaming face with nothing in the mouths.
Asriel shuddered slightly. "That looks kind of creepy."
"The Wabbajack... the Daedric Artifact of Sheogorath..." Frisk said in shock seeing the staff. "My... Grandfather's artifact."
"And now YOUR Daedra Artifact!" Sheogorath tossed it over to Frisk who clumsily caught it. "Now go on, you all don't have much time right? Slow, and steady wins the race, as what they say so go on try to cure ol' Pelly of his madness! Don't worry your two friends will be safe with Haskill here while you do so!"
"Will you be ok by yourself?" Asriel asked Frisk.
Chara frowned looking around. "I don't know if you should wander the mind of a crazy person by yourself."
Frisk looks down before she looked over. "I... I think I should... this is my Grandfather so... I want to do this myself for him."
"Well, ok... just be careful Frisk." Asriel hugged her.
Frisk nodded hugging them before looking at Sheogorath who spread his arms. "Take any of the three paths for what's next! Really take all the time you need I'll wait, we Daedra are a patient bunch!"
Nodding Frisk walked down one of the paths only to hear the sounds of fighting.
"Oh, good choice. Well, good for me. I find everyone being out to get you so terribly entertaining. You might find it... less so. You see, Pelagius' mother was... well... let us say 'unique.' Although, I suppose in the grand scheme of things, she was fairly average for a Septim. That woman wielded fear like a cleaver." Sheogowarth's voice explained over towards her. "Or did she wield a cleaver and make people afraid? I never get that part right... Oh, but she taught her son well. Pelagius learned at a very early age that danger could come from anywhere. At any time. Delivered... by anyone." She arrived to a small arena where two stone creatures having clouds, and lightning were fighting while Pelagius was on the otherside with two people wearing golden armor was watching. "The objective here is simple, you simpleton! Use your Wabbajack to defeat the enemy, while they do the same!"
Blinking Frisk looked at the Wabbajack before aiming it at one of the stone creatures firing a magical blast at it transforming it into a Flame Atronach only for the other creature to make the same transformation only a few moments later.
"Hmm... Your creature doesn't appear to be fairing any better than before. Me thinks your aim is off." Sheogorath gave a small hint to her.
Frisk blinked hearing that before pausing recalling what Sheogorath told her before.
'Pelagius learned at a very early age that danger could come from anywhere. At any time. Delivered... by anyone.'
Thinking she suddenly paused looking at Pelagius himself before deciding to try something unexpected as she used the Wabbajack on him instead of the creature in the arena.
At that several of the guards turned to wolves alarming Pelagius before they attacked him which Sheogorath gave a laugh. "Oho! I thought you'd never figure it out. With the threat gone Pelagius is under the delusion that he is safe, which means you've helped him out... sort of. And we're that much closer to home."
With that they she was transported over back to the tea party which Sheogorath setting on a lightning sign that has two directions over that said 'This way, This Way' at where Frisk needs to go next.
Looking she decided to go down the path to the right.
"Ah, now this is a sad path. Pelagius hated and feared many things. Assassins, wild dogs, the undead, pumpernickel... But the deepest, keenest hatred was for himself." Sheogorath explained over towards her as she arrived to where a large Imperial Soldier was beating a small Breton guy. "The attacks he makes on himself can be seen here fully. They are always carried out on the weakest part of his fragile self. The self-loathing enhances Pelagius' anger! Ah, but his confidence will shrink with every hit. You must bring the two into balance."
Hearing that Frisk blinked and tried aiming the Wabbajack at the Breton guy only to blink seeing him get a little bigger only for the Imperial Soldier to hit him causing him to shrink back down.
"You seem to be having a small problem... or perhaps it's a big problem? Maybe if you shrunk the whole thing down a little first?" Sheogorath gave a hint in the form of a suggestion.
"Shrink the... oh!" Frisk realized smiling as she realized these were kind of like puzzles as she grinned aiming the Wabbajack at the Imperial Soldier this time before pausing. "Um... lord Sheogorath?"
"Hm?" He's listening.
"I really appreciate your help, but can I try and solve the last puzzle by myself?" she asked as she fired the Wabbajack at the Imperial Soldier making him shrink but she frowned since he was still pretty big so she fired at him again.
"Alright, sure." Sheogorath allowed that. "You'll need some clever thinking."
After she shrunk the soldier he then used the Wabbajack at the Breton which made him bigger, and larger then the soldier.
"Wonderfully done. Pelagius is finally ready to love himself... and continue hating everyone else." Sheogorath brought up as she's brought to the tea party again with several lightning arrows pointing to a path.
Frisk took a breath before going down the final path before reaching a clearing that only showed a young Breton lying in bed with nothing else around. Guessing that was what she had to use the Wabbajack on Frisk aimed at the Breton and fired the Wabbajack.
"You've headed down the path of dreams. Unfortunately for you, Pelagius suffered night terrors from a young age. All you need to do is find something to wake our poor Pelagius up. You'll find his terrors easy to repel... but persistent." Sheogorath brought up just as something appeared. "Oh your already on it."
Frisk looked as her eyes widened seeing a wolf running to attack Pelagius so to try and protect him she used the Wabbajack again before pausing as it changed into a chicken.
She looked before using the Wabbajack again which made a bandit appeared as he moved to attack Pelagius which she quickly used the Wabbajack that turned him into what seemed like a kid form of Pelagius who started to have fun around playing. Shooting more with a old witch like figure into some kind of maiden, a Flame Atronach into a bonfire, and lastly an undead priest like thing that turns into a large chest.
With that last one Pelagius wakes up slowly sitting up.
"Well now, that's something to crow about. With Pelagius up and about you're moving right along. We'll both be home in no time."
Frisk transported back to the tea party where they were all waiting.
"I... think I'm done?" Frisk asked before moving to give Sheogorath the Wabbajack. "Thank you for all your help."
Sheogorath looked over. "Well you fixed him!" He then cupped his chin. "Hmmmm... 'Fixed' is such a subjective term. I think 'treated' is far more appropriate, don't you? Like one does to a rash, or an arrow in the face. Ah, but no matter. Heartless mortal that you are, you've actually succeeded and survived. I am forced to honor my end of the bargain. So congratulations! You're free to go! I... have been known to change my mind. So... go. Really."
Sheogorath then started to go over some things over. "Pelagius Septim the Third, once the Mad Emperor of Tamriel, now so boringly sane. I always knew he had it in him!" He then shrugged over. "Well, I suppose it's back to the Shivering Isles. The trouble Haskill can get into while I'm gone simply boggles the mind..." Said chamberlain merely rolled his eyes. "Let's make sure I'm not forgetting anything. Clothes? Check. Beard? Check! Luggage? Luggage! Now where did I leave my luggage?"
At that a portal appeared showing the blind begger.
"Master! You've taken me back! Does this mean we're going home? Oh, happy times! I can't wait to..."
"Yes, yes, that's quite enough celebration. Let's send you ahead, shall we?" Sheogorath waved his hand dismissively as the man vanished before he turned to the kids. "And as for you, my little mortal minion... Feel free to keep the Wabbajack. As a symbol of my..." He paused before shaking his head throwing his hands in front of him. "Oh, just take the damn thing. You take care of yourself, now. And if you ever find yourself up in New Sheoth, do look me up. We can share a strawberry torte. Ta ta!"
"And now with that." Haskill snapped his fingers which made Sheogorath turn back to Vipsanius for the chat there gonna have before they leave.
Frisk ran up and hugged Vipsanius.
"Well you've done what he had ask." Vipsanius smiled hugging her back. "I figure you have the Wabbajack, so just keep it. Along with something else. Hold out your hand."
Curious Frisk held her hand out to her ancestor.
He takes her hand before her hand glowed gold, and purple before he pulled away smiling. "I've given you the ability to summon the soldiers of Dementia, and Mania, the Dark Seducers, and the Golden Saints, they'll serve you well in your quest. You've also earned the right to undertake the Madness Trials if you end up in the Shivering Isles. Let's try meeting again if we can somehow." They nodded over from this before he blinked. "Oh, and one more thing."
Frisk looked shocked at that before looking at him.
"If you end up in Cyrodil or in the city of Leyawiin from there, look for either the Knights of the Nine Priory or the White Stallion Lodge." Vipsanius explained over to her. "The Nine Priory should still have the Artifacts of the Crusader, and all of my things should still be at the lodge. There you will find my Imperial Dragon Armor, or Dawnfang/Duskfang."
Frisk's eyes widened in awe only to frown. "But... the Thalmor might have destroyed it."
"At this point let's hope they haven't yet." Vipsanius said over.
Frisk nodded uncertainly.
"Come on, the others are waiting and we can tell them what happened." Chara mentioned.
They nodded from this as Vipsanius generated a portal over before Haskill bowed over to Frisk. "When the time is right my young lady we will see you again in the Shivering Isles. Just know that we, and Lord Sheogorath are there for you should you ever need us."
"Ok, thank you." Frisk smiled as she, Asriel, and Chara went through the portal.
They appeared back in the Pelagius Wing in Blue Palace with the hip bone in Frisk's bag, and the Wabbajack in her hand.
"That was... an adventure." Asriel admitted. "I can't believe your..."
He suddenly paused.
"Actually, I think I can believe it Frisk."
Frisk stayed quiet before looking at the Wabbajack in her hand. "Remember what I told you two... about Agronak?"
"Yeah." Chara nodded as they were leaving the Blue Palace.
"Am I... Am I kinda like the same...? That maybe I never should've known if I was related to him?" Frisk asked quietly that maybe this was probably what Agronak would've felt if he discovered he's half Vampire.
"Of course not." Asriel frowned hugging her gently.
She softly hugged him back as they exit Solitude, and make there ways to the stables where the others were waiting with Delphine who had arrived a while ago, and turned over to them. "Where have you been Frisk? The Dragonborn told me you needed to take care of some blind guy's master."
"It was a little more complicated." Frisk admitted. "We ended up meeting a Daedric Prince."
"You met with a Daedra?" Jin asked over hearing that. "Which one?"
"Sheogorath, the prince of madness." Frisk answered.
"Well either way if your done, now we can get this started." Delphine stated over more then ready to get the Thalmor Embassy. "Have you given Malborn the gear you want to smuggle into the embassy?"
Frisk nodded only to pause before turning to Asriel. "Azzy, can you hold onto the Wabbajack for me?"
Asriel nodded softly taking the staff while Delphine crossed her arms. "Well I won't ask where you got the clothes but your already prepared for the role as a guest. I have your invitation to the party. When you're ready, I'll keep the rest of your gear safe until you get back. You'll only have what Malborn smuggled in for you, plus whatever you can pick up inside."
Frisk nodded taking a slow breath before hugging her family and friends before getting into the carriage. "Well, I'll see you guys after the party."
"Right now you should pass for a real guest, at least until you open your mouth. Just make sure you get back out of there alive with the information we need. Good luck." Delphine bowed her head handing her a letter.
Jin nodded over towards Frisk. "Good luck Frisk, and be careful. You'll be charting into very dangerous territory full of lies, and bigots so don't fall for there lies."
"I won't." she nodded taking a slow breath as the carriage began driving off leading her to the Thalmor Embassy.
They watched as she headed off before Delphine turned over towards Jin. "Do you think she can manage to do so Dragonborn?"
"I do, even if fighting isn't her best sport she's got a pretty good head on her shoulders." Jin answered over towards her. "And she's also the Hero of Kvatch's Granddaughter who himself bested the Mythic Dawn cult, and destroyed countless threats so maybe his luck will rub off on her."
"It just might." Chara admitted. "So, what should we do while she's at the party?"
"We should probably head back to Riverwood." Jin suggested over towards them. "Probably only safe place we can be at, here at this rate."
"That makes sense." Asgore nodded before frowning as he turned to Delphine. "And, we can take the opportunity to have a long overdue talk."
Delphine turned over before she sighed nodding over. "Yes of course. A lot to talk about..."
Ulrich362: Well, Frisk is about to have a very dangerous job to do... all on her own... fortunately she has a bit of Conjuration Magic thanks to the College and her ancestor giving her the power to summon Dark Seducers and Golden Saints.
bopdog111: She been training a bit so hopefully that be enough.
Ulrich362: There's only one way to know for sure though.
bopdog111: And we won't advance on the other things until the Dragonborn/Sonvgarde things are done so sorry for some confusions you guys might've seen.
Ulrich362: Well... there might be one thing we advance on just a tiny bit but that's for later. See you in the next chapter.
bopdog111: Be sure to review!
