bopdog111: Frisk, and Jin are now on there way to the Throat of the World where Paarthurnax, the Master of the Greybeards will be present.

Ulrich362: True, this is going to be a very... interesting meeting to say the least.

bopdog111: Yeah interesting. How interesting? We will see.

"Okay Frisk stay beside me, we don't know what kind of threats are up here, and if anymore of those storms are around for me to clear away." Jin spoke as he, and Frisk made the climb up to reach Paarthurnax to ask him about Dragonrend with the Argonian Soldier expecting the road to not be easy.

"Right." she nodded only to frown slightly. "Do you think Paarthurnax is lonely, being trapped by the storm?"

"I doubt it, from what these Greybeards are showing impression of, seclusion seems to be there specialty when not doing anything else." Jin answered over drawing his sword to stay on guard. "He probably meditates or practices the Thu'um to others right now."

Frisk nodded in understanding as she took a breath before focusing as a small blue magical dagger appeared in her hand only to pause. "Do you hear something?"

Jin at that stopped looking around for what she hears. Hearing some crackling he turned seeing some creatures made of ice flying over seeing them, and growled over to them. He grunted. "Ice Wraiths. Careful these guys are bitches." He readied his sword over to fight.

Nodding Frisk tightened her grip on the bound dagger she conjured before widening her eyes as one of the Ice Wraiths flew towards her and tried to bite her arm but she dodged and managed to graze it with her dagger.

Jin dodged over trying to land a downward slash that the Ice Wraith moved out of the way before generating spiked ice from below to attack that Jin moved out of the way making some stabs over that the Ice Wraith dodged but got hit which made it crawled before swiping down landing a bite on his shoulder which he growled about feeling some chill, and slowing in his movement but pushed it off readying a fire in his hand. "Firebolt!" He fired the attack which struck the Ice Wraith melting it a bit.

Seeing something Frisk ran past him just in time to block another Ice Wraith that was going for Jin's neck as two more appeared from the storm as she frowned. "We can't fight them in this storm, it's almost impossible to see where they're coming from."

"Alright stand back, I know how to throw them off." Jin pulls her behind him staring ahead at the Ice Wraiths as he takes a breath. "YOL!" A burst of fire fired from him coating the Ice Wraiths making them screeching in agony from the intense heat quickly melting there bodies before 2 collapsed, and the others flew off to save there skins.

Frisk shivered a bit as her dagger vanished. "I'm really glad we're not enemies... fighting you would be really hard."

Jin sighed glad he had acquired that shout from a Word Wall called Sunderstone Gorge after meeting with the Greybeards to finish his inauguration into High Hrothgar. "Well I don't have any reason why we should fight." Seeing another storm is in there way he frowned. "I need to rest to use Clear Skies for us to continue." Seeing a small cave he pointed over. "Let's take a break over there so I can regain my energy."

"That sounds like a good idea." Frisk nodded as the two of them entered the cave.

They sat down over sitting in safety for a moment as he takes a breath, and looked over. "While we're here alone Frisk, let's chat. There are some things I want to know."

"Oh, sure." Frisk nodded. "That sounds like a good idea."

"But..." he blinked over as she looked at him. "There are things... I'm curious about from you two."

"Okay fair enough, we should get to know each other more. You want to ask first?" Jin asked her.

"Well... I know you don't like talking about it but what was it like when you were a part of the empire?" Frisk asked him with a frown. "What happened that made you want to leave?"

Jin stared over before he sighed from this closing his eyes. "Yes, I figured you would ask. Well Frisk, if I'm gonna tell my story... I'm gonna need this playing. Stay on guard monsters might hear it." Reaching he pulls out his music box, and opens it setting it over on a rock with them as it plays it's tune.

(Music Box Theme: Davy Jones Music Box)

Frisk nodded keeping an eye out of the cave while listening to the music and what Jin was going to tell her.

"Well... where to start... I guess it should be where I was young. About almost 37 years ago today, I was a part of the Imperial Legion, having wanted since childhood to become a soldier, and become the great heroes of old. My full name is Ffamran 'Jin-Noyei' Karane, but in the Cyrodilic Empire, I am called General Ffamran one of the most vital soldiers of the Empire serving with my life to protect all of Tamirel." Jin begin explain his tale as flashes of him younger as a boy seeing soldiers with fascination in his eyes before it moved to him training hard with wooden swords against a older Imperial man like how he is training Frisk, Chara, and Asriel right now. "After becoming old enough, I moved to Cyrodill to try fighting for the Empire. And I was not disappointed how seeing them. They are some of the best sons of bitches, I ever seen able to battle, or fight for everything they have, and despite opposition from the occasional Thalmor, they always held strong no matter what was there. After proving myself, I was under the apprenticeship of a young Legate named Tulius who taught me all of everything." He softly smiled as he recalled it. "I was just that, an apprentice, not a real soldier until I proved myself more."

Frisk nodded listening to Jin's story.

"Tulius taught me all he knows. Never underestimating an enemy, always fight strong with everything you got, and hit them hard, and fast. Alongside some clever, and skilled tactics to keep enemies surprised using the unexpected against them. Then one day while training, I met her. Muz-Jeen Canidorus." Flashes of a brown haired tanned man in silver armor was training the young Jin while directing over what to do, and on one trip the young Jin sees a female Argonian with pink scales wearing a red dress where Jin stared stunned. "She was amazing... I admit, I was struck love stupid. I couldn't stop thinking about her where my training... went up painfully. Tulius eventually noticing my feelings had told me some advice over, and I done so. I never been more nervous in my life then doing that with Muz-Jeen... but she was glad I felt that way, as she does so too at me. We wed privately in the Imperial City after a few dates, and alongside it, I was no longer Tulius' apprentice... I was now a full-fledged solider ready to serve the Empire."

Frisk couldn't help but smile hearing about how Jin had fallen in love only to pause. "Is... is Muz-Jeen ok?"

Jin frowned over before closing his eyes shaking his head to say he'll get to that later only continuing the story. "After become a soldier, I had sent a letter inviting my relatives in the Black Marsh to stay in Cyrodill so they can be safe. They alongside Muz-Jeen stayed in Bravil as I feel that the Lucky Lady Statue within the hold will keep them safe while I'm away. I been a soldier in the Empire for 10 years just allowing my warrior spirit to ignite against any who would threaten the peace, be it bandits, thieves, Thalmor, or any hungry predator that attack. I was recognized, and acknowledged by many even the Emperor himself as a great asset for the Empire." Flashes of Jin writing a latter, and greeting his relatives in Bravil were shown as he introduced them to Muz-Jeen, and then headed off to join the army again after making sure they will be okay while he's in the army while fighting some threats around. "Then 2 years after I became an official soldier... she came into our lives."

Frisk gasped in realization, Jin was a father.

He nodded confirming it. "Kasaja... our little Princess... when she hatched from her egg she was perfect... just perfect..." A tear rolled down his cheek as a flash showing of a pregnant Muz-Jeen with Jin excitedly awaiting before after a bit as there on there bed with a large egg that is on a nest of blankets hatched revealing a red, and pink scaled like Argornian Infant with the proud happy parents with her. "She was my little joy in my heart. Always being there whenever I come back, and although I was away from her for a long time, I never once stopped thinking about her while I was in the Empire. Always so happy, and joyful in this dark world... her smile was a bright light in dark times..." He then turned over to the music box as a flash showing of a older Kasaja was messing with tools. "And she was talented in crafting... her very first invention by herself after learning from her Grandfather was this music box... a gift for me, for me to take wherever I go, so I can always remember her..." Kasaja reveals the music box to a shocked Jin who takes it, and opens to listen to the tune, and tears up smiling hugging his daughter who hugs her back happily wishing him to get home soon.

Frisk's eyes widened as she realized he was talking about his daughter in past tense... as if she wasn't around anymore. "I... I'm sorry, I didn't mean to bring up painful memories."

He only shakes his head. "Just let me continue... don't start on it now please... I need to keep going or I'll never finish."

Frisk nodded though she had a few tears sensing where this was going.

"Life as a soldier felt good... really good... always defending Tamriel... fighting to my heart's content... being with comrades... eventually these traits, and skills landed me where I obtained my General rank despite my age..." Jin further continued as flashes of him around Tamirel while promoted at times came up where he has smiles or grins also fighting some harsh opponents. "Then, I was invited to join a special group... a group called the Tamirelic Co-Existence League."

Frisk nodded hearing that.

"This group was a division within the Empire where we focus on equality between all of the races. Imperial, Kahjiit, Redguard, Nord, Argonian, Altmer Elf, Wood Elf, Dark Elf, Breton, and Orc. Speakings of Titus Mede II came up with the League though I have my suspicions about it at this point.. but I decided not to worry as all of us as equals sounds good." Jin said as he joined up with 9 different people one of which is Ainertick while a elder Argonian bid farewell to them, and left. "Together we were the best soldiers, and group within the Empire with all of our race's unique traits, and abilities used in teamwork. Together there was nothing we could accomplish, nothing could stop us from showing everyone that equality with all 10 races is possible. We are brothers-in-arms, always sticking together... even if the road is difficult with Ainertick." He chuckled fondly from it as flashes of Ainertick drinking, and fooling around was causing trouble with the league, and a woman was snapping at the Breton while some were laughing, others just shake there heads amused.

Frisk couldn't help but smile slightly having seen a bit of his antics firsthand.

Jin then frowned. "But... things began hard... Thalmor attacks have been getting more aggressive, and powerful over the years. And somewhere along the way things are changing... in the city, I sometimes see people giving me looks... like I look weird even though they seen an Argonian before... then I also seen that a Orc begger was ignored no matter who... well except some Imperial Children who made fun of him... of course as a soldier, I put a stop whenever trouble puts up but those hooligans messed with me too despite being a soldier... there parents usually break it up but they look at us with those eyes..." Flashes of Jin seeing some Imperials staring at him with hateful, or scared stares while an Orc begger being messed up, or other stuff around. "And... High Chancellor Ocato's descendant was arrested under acts of terrorism even though he never claimed to have preformed such acts... it was then, I realized the Empire was changing, and not in a good way."

"That sounds familiar." Frisk nodded. "My family noticed the same things."

"Well the worst was yet to come... our old commander an Imperial retired from the league, and gave his position to a young man named Maro." Jin said as he sneered at the name. "You ever came across obnoxious or spoiled people, you can definitely think of him first thing... although he is indeed a gifted soldier, and earned his ranks fairly, he is such a brat often belittling his brother where despite him letting Maro succeed more then him, his little brother never appreciated him." A young black haired man with a mustache, and goatee flashed over with the league. "Then he began to spout his bullshit that Imperials are the rightful soldiers of the Empire stating that anyone not an Imperial are only in the way, antagonizing us at every chance he gets. We never let any of his shit get to us, figuring that if we can prove ourselves to him he can see that we're needed in the Empire."

Frisk frowned even more at that.

"This continued for several years, and in between dealing with Maro's spoiled ass, the stares the people give at me, and that the Empire are changing to pure Imperial Soldiers, I can feel that my time in the Empire seem to have went by. But I decided not to give up so soon where I will continue fighting, and serve the Empire, or die trying." Jin kept explaining as flashes of said events played in his head. "There came the Battle of the Red Ring, and although the Empire won the battle against the Thalmor, they invaded the city, and confronted Titus Mede II. He agreed to surrender so that Cyrodill can survive, and signed the White-Gold Concordat. Although, I do understood the circumstances, and why he done it... I felt like... he signed away all of what we're suppose to be fighting for. For the Blades, the Septims, even all of Tamirel."

"Our lives, for our soul." Frisk frowned.

"We have a Nord within the league who worships Talos as much as any other Nord." Jin said as flashes of the woman in the league were shown where she was disgusted simply leaving never to return. "Uthgerd the Unbroken, a close friend of mine, had left the league... from the White-Gold Concordat banning Talos Worship, she refused to keep being in the Empire, and stormed out feeling it's unacceptable to forsake Talos for any reason, and no matter the circumstances must never be disrespected."

"That makes sense." Frisk smiled.

"Well... I started distrusting the Empire ever since I felt the stares for the first time... when Uthgerd left, I realized that Cyrodill wasn't safe for my family anymore..." Flashes of Jin arriving at Bravil, and telling his relatives, and family to quickly head back home to the Black Marsh to be safe as he hugged his wife, and daughter promising them both he will see them again. He watches them left before heading back to the Imperial. "So I... I went over to tell them to head back to the Black Marsh as fast as they can... Kasaja didn't want to go as she wouldn't see me again for a very long time... but I promised her, I'll see her again, and watched them leave... I never kept it... as I learned later..." He starts shaking from this as tears builded in his eyes. "That was... the last time... I ever saw them... alive." A flash showing of a horrified Jin in a burning swamp village staring.

Frisk's eyes widened as she hugged Jin. "I… I'm so sorry."

Jin shakes more but kept talking. "I... When I... heard of the attack... I went as fast as I can to see if I can... do anything... I arrived too late... I fought Thalmor to see if I can find any survivors... I arrived at my family's house... I looked around trying to find them... but when I arrived... dead on the floor... even... Kasaja..." A flash of Jin frantically searching the village while fighting Thalmor arrived at his old house looking around, and entered a room where he finds his relatives, and family dead. He knelled moving where he sees Kasaja's dead face staring at him as he was then screaming loud to the heavens holding his dead daughter's body close to him. Then hearing something he looked seeing a Thalmor mage walking in. "I found the killer... I swore I would take his head..." The emotional, and infuriated Jin fought hard against the Thalmor assailant but despite Jin as a general the assailant easily defeated him, and stabbed him down to the ground beside Muz-Jeen's corpse, and left him for dead. "I couldn't beat him... just left to die with my family burning to the ground... but I made it out..." The injured Jin forced his way out, and escaped on a Imperial boat heading back to Cyrodil.

Frisk just listened but she was looking down with a frown.

"When I arrived back... Maro was only telling me I was incredibly foolish heading out when I know the Empire must not interfere with Thalmor Business, and that it's why people who aren't Imperials can't be soldiers cause they can't obey the most simplest orders." Jin growled with tears as he recalled that. "I yelled at him... yelled that I lost my family, and how he could say that to me with such a straight face... he would never feel like what I'm feeling as he doesn't care about his family... then I joined Uthgerd's lead... knowing the Empire will never retaliate for attacking Black Marsh, I forsaken the Empire, abandoned my previous identity, and swore to walk, and kill the Thalmor wherever I go having the disgrace of failure to protect my family in my soul... I swear revenge on both the Empire, and the Thalmor for my loss of honor, and family where no matter what it will take... they will suffer for the pain, and suffering they caused me..." Maro was busy scolding Jin while insulting him leading for a infuriated, and heartbroken Jin to scream at him which startled Maro enough where he dropped to his seat while his current comrades watched shocked before Jin just stormed up dropping off his Imperial attire. "I spent the next 26 years killing Thalmor whenever I go to one day find the bastard who killed my family, and take there head..." Jin by himself fights Thalmor soldiers killing them as he travels around before then the Jin in real life closed his eyes tears down his face. "And... that's the story."

"Who... who was it?" Frisk asked.

Jin knows she is asking who killed his family which he looked down more. "The bitch who gave the order... Elenwen... I don't know who it really was... there hood was up..."

Frisk nodded before frowning. "I... no, never mind."

"Just say it..." he told her as he wiped his eyes.

"I'm guessing... there's no way in the world you would ever show Elenwen mercy?" Frisk asked despite her tone showing she already knew the answer.

"No. She will pay." Jin answered confirming it as he clenched his hands so tight it's drawing blood. "Although she didn't do it personally... she still gave the order. She will die, and her blood will be on my hands if it's the last thing I do... evil bitch's days are numbered!"

Frisk just frowned hearing that. "I had a feeling."

Jin takes a breath to calm down before looking over. "Now Frisk... time for me to ask the questions."

She softly nodded sitting back down to her side of the wall for him to start as he takes the music box closing it, and pocketing it. "So... what do you want to start with first?"

"I guess... to start it would be what happened? You said you were a member of the Blades." Jin asked her.

"Well... I was born into Helgan." she explained softly as she recalled it. "I have my parents, and only an older brother. We learned young about our Grandfather, and the kind of things he done for us, and why his memory, and legacy is important for us to remember. I wanted to be a Blade, and my brother, and father helped me prepare for the long journey ahead. It was tough but fun being with them... I trained a little but not to where your at right now. But we were always on the run from the Thalmor as they are searching for Blade or Talos remnants. We travel all over Tamirel to avoid them except Summerset Isles to avoid them. My brother is a strong warrior, he always protected it either from bullies, animals, or anything else that tries hurting me... I miss him."

"He sounds like a good person." Jin noted.

"He is... our old Grandmaster we meet in secret predicts he's who carries Grandfather's legacy." Frisk admitted over. "I was glad for him, and wish I can help him. But I heard the story of Mt. Ebott while I was studying."

Jin nodded. "I see, the same mountain we're climbing now."

"I had enough of all the death, and destruction, I heard from the stories after the Great War," Frisk looked down with a frown. "so when we were at Helgan as the Thalmor came I ran... ran to Mt. Ebott to get away from it all, and hope to have a peaceful death... but I never expected for the stories to be true with all the monsters." She then smiled. "And now I'm proud to have them."

"And the moment you got free you were dragged right back into this mess, the civil war." Jin frowned.

Frisk frowned. "And... I don't know where my parents, and brother are. Helgan was destroyed when I got back from the dragon we seen back at Kynesgrove. I hope there okay."

Jin sighed hearing that. "We both know they're probably all dead, killed by the Thalmor... or if not them that Dragon."

Frisk looked fearful before shaking her head refusing to believe it's like that before then frowning standing up. "Sorry... we should continue on." Jin frowned from this softly nodding as they get up continuing there trek. Arriving over at the storm Jin takes a break. "LOK VAAH KOR!" At that the storm cleared up at his shout of Clear Skies.

Jin drew his sword as Frisk summoned her Bound Dagger and they continued up the mountain. They fought some trolls, wolves, or more Ice Wraiths while climbing up to the top. Soon they came across the ruin arriving seeing a Word Wall, and some sort of reality fuzzing area nearby as they walked together looking around not seeing anyone. Suddenly they hear a roar looking over seeing a yellow dragon flying over.

"Oh shit, stay beside me!" Jin onguard pulled Frisk to him as the dragon flew over landing in front of them where they see it looks scarred, damaged, and old as it stomped over while Jin prepares to be ready to attack it. But Frisk luckily knows who this might be as evident from remembering something.

"Wait a second." Frisk mentioned taking a step towards the dragon. "Are you... Paarthurnax?"

"What?" Jin asked hearing that blinking.

At that the dragon stared at her speaking over. "Drem Yol Lok. Greetings, wunduniiks. You assume correct, joor, mortal. I am Paarthurnax. Who are you? What brings you to my strunmah… my mountain?"

"You're the master of the Greybeards?" Jin questioned in surprise.

"They see me as master. Wuth. Onik. Old and wise. It is true I am old…" the dragon, Paarthurnax, replied calmly. He then looked over towards Frisk. "Ah, now then. Kiir, perhaps you can answer a question... is that the armor of the ulokuun, in all of Tamirel?"

Thankfully due to knowing the Dragon Tongue, Frisk knows some of the words he speaks of.

"Yes... this was something from my lotbormah." Frisk answered recalling some of the words.

"Ah, so you are fairly versed in the dovah tongue." Paarthurnax spoke satisfied over. "But do not gelaag yourself, speaking with joor is fine, and won't offend me."

"I know a very small amount, and I wanted to be respectful." she admitted. "To one of my zuwuth, my elders."

"Do they really teach you how to speak dragon?" Jin asked if the Blades really does have there members learn the dragon tongue which technically no but from the time that Frisk had seen Esbern before he taught her, and gave her some books to learn the language.

"Not all of us." Frisk answered. "But... I asked to learn a little bit... since my grandfather helped during the Oblivion Crisis... and in a way we owe our lives to emperor Martin Septim who took the form of Akatosh. I wanted to learn a bit of the dragon tongue to kind of honor what they did."

"Indeed, the father to all dovah, rescued the deylok, from the eldest brother." Paarthurnax spoke as he remembers this tale before then turning. "Ah, all this talk of the dovah almost made me forget my earlier question... Why do you come here, volaan? Why do you two intrude on my meditation?"

"I came to learn Dragonrend." Jin answered looking at Paarthurnax.

"Drem. Patience. There are formalities which must be observed, at the first meeting of two of the dov." Paarthurnax spoken before then turning to Frisk. "Which as you are versed also includes you, kiir. Come kiibok." He turned over stomping to the word wall.

Seeing that Jin and Frisk followed him.

"By long tradition, the elder speaks first. Hear my Thu'um! Feel it in your bones. Match it, if you are Dovahkiin!" Paarthurnax turned over to the wall, and readied. "YOL… TOOR… SHUL!" He fired a flaming breath at the wall before turning over towards the two. "I have spoken. The Rotmulaag awaits."

"Rotmu-what?" Jin asked confused from that word never understanding the dragon language.

"Rotmulaag..." Frisk repeated thinking only for them to notice the word wall now had a word on it.

"A Word of Power?" Jin walked over seeing it before gasping as he felt the word into his mind over before stepping back while the word vanished.

"A gift, Dovahkiin. Yol. Understand Fire as the dov do." he turned over where Paarthurnax gives him energy like the Greybeards do as he looked at himself feeling the power ahead. "Do not be afraid. Faasnu. Let me feel the power of your Thu'um. Greet me not as Argonian, but as dovah!"

Jin stared before taking a breath closing his eyes feeling the power, and called over. "YOL... TOOR!" His fire breath that was stronger then earlier burst striking Paarthurnax while Jin blinked looking over himself.

"Aaah… yes! Sossedov los mul. The Dragonblood runs strong in you. It is long since I had the pleasure of speech with one of my own kind." Paarthurnax noted as he flew up before landing on top of the word wall to look down at Jin and Frisk. "So. You have made your way here, to me. No easy task for a joor… mortal. Even for one of Dovah Sos. Dragonblood. Now then, you ask for Dragonrend?"

Jin nodded to him. "Yes. Do you know it?"

"Krosis. Sorrowfully, no. It cannot be known to me." Paarthurnax explained shaking his head no which shocked the two.

"You don't?"

"Your kind - joorre - mortals - created it as a weapon against the dov… the dragons." Paarthurnax explained to Frisk. "Our hadrimme, our minds cannot even… comprehend its concepts."

"What do you mean by that?" Jin asked confused.

"Hmm, how to explain so you can understand...?" Paarthurnax gives careful thought into his words. "It cannot be known to the dov... the dragons, as we are bokgeson... ageless, and vozahlaas... immortal entities. The effects of Dragonrend forces a dov to experience the concept of mortality, something vomindoraan to us dov... forces a dov to land on the ground for a short period of time. As the dov cannot understand mortality, Dragonrend is useless to us dov."

"Then how can Jin learn it?" Frisk asked.

"Drem. All in good time. First, I have a question for you. Why do you want to learn this Thu'um?" Paarthurnax asked them something ask.

"I need to stop Alduin." Jin answered looking at Paarthurnax.

"Yes. Alduin… Zeymah. The elder brother. Gifted, grasping and troublesome, as is so often the case with firstborn." Paarthurnax spoke over from it before then looking. "But why? Why must you stop Alduin?"

"Apparently I'm the only one who can stop him from destroying the world." Jin answered.

"True… But qostiid - prophecy - tells what may be, not what should be. Qostiid sahlo aak. Just because you can do a thing, does not always mean you should. Do you have no better reason for acting than destiny? Are you nothing more than a plaything of dez… of fate?" Paarthurnax asked him simply from it wisely.

Jin frowned hearing that. "I was, but not anymore... I'm going to stop Alduin... because I have more to do and can't let this world end yet."

"And so, perhaps, your destiny will be fulfilled. Who can say? Dez motmahus. Even to the dov, who ride the currents of Time, destiny is elusive. Alduin believes that he will prevail, with good reason. Rok mul. And he is no fool. Ni mey, rinik gut nol. Far from it. He began as the wisest and most far-seeing of us all." Paarthurnax spoken over before then chuckling over shaking his head. "But you have indulged my weakness for speech long enough. Krosis. Now I will answer your question." At that Jin, and Frisk paid attention for what he's gonna say. "Do you know why I live here, at the peak of the Monahven – what you name Throat of the World?"

"It's a mountain, that's all the reason you need right?" Jin asked.

"This is the most sacred mountain in Skyrim. Zok revak strunmah. The great mountain of the world. Here the ancient Tongues, the first mortal masters of the voice, brought Alduin to battle and defeated him." Paarthunax spoke over to them.

"Was it cause of Dragonrend?" Frisk asked hearing that.

Paarthurnax made a small troubled sound shaking his head. "Yes and no. Viik nuz ni kron. Alduin was not truly defeated, either. If he was, you would not be here today, seeking to… defeat him. The Nords of those days used the Dragonrend Shout to cripple Alduin. But this was not enough. Ok mulaag unslaad. It was the Kel – the Elder Scroll. They used it to... cast him adrift on the currents of Time."

Hearing this surprised Frisk. Of course, she had heard about the Elder Scrolls. So much research, or discoveries about them speculated throughout each era, and despite the best scholars studying barely any progress was made in trying to figure what they are for. The best that everyone knows is that they are artifacts been created by the Nine Divines as fragments of creations said to tell the future for others but have been known to blind those untrained to read them which is why the Moth Priests within the Imperial Empire have trained there lives to read an Elder Scroll to prepare there minds for there effects.

"You mean... Time Travel?" Frisk asked.

"Not intentionally. Some hoped he would be gone forever, forever lost. Meyye. I knew better. Tiid bo amativ. Time flows ever onward. One day he would surface. Which is why I have lived here. For thousands of mortal years I have waited. I knew where he would emerge but not when." Paarthurnax answered over to them.

"So what's an Elder Scroll, and how can we find one?"

"Hmm. How to explain in your tongue? The dov have words for such things that joorre do not. It is… an artifact from outside time. It does not exist, but it has always existed. Rah wahlaan. They are… hmm… fragments of creation. The Kelle… Elder Scrolls, as you name them, they have often been used for prophecy. Yes, your prophecy comes from an Elder Scroll. But this is only a small part of their power. Zofaas suleyk." Paarthurnax explained over his best words for Jin, and Frisk to understand. Then he gestured over his wing to the distorted space the two seen coming in as they turned over to it. "Tiid krent. Time was… shattered here because of what the ancient Nords did to Alduin. If you brought that Kel, that Elder Scroll back here… to the Tiid-Ahraan, the Time-Wound… With the Elder Scroll that was used to break Time, you may be able to… cast yourself back. To the other end of the break. You could learn Dragonrend from those who created it."

Which meant... if they can somehow acquire an Elder Scroll, and use it at the distorted space Paarthunax is showing them, they can bring themselves back to the time Alduin was sent through the grasps of time, and learn Dragonrend firsthand from the mortals who defeated him in battle. Not a bad plan, only question is - where they can even find an Elder Scroll?

"I'm guessing you don't have that Kelle, Elder Scroll with you?" Jin asked.

"Sorrowfully... I know little of what has passed below in the long years I have lived here. You are likely better informed than I." Paarthurnax admitted over to them where he doesn't have an Elder Scroll nor knows where one can be found.

Frisk frowned only to pause. "I might know someone who can help."

"Trust your instincts, Dovahkiin, and kiir. Your blood will show you the way." Paarthurnax spoke over wisely to them before then turning to Frisk. "And please, make way to my strunmah, another time... it been a long time since I spoken with someone who is... gifted in dragon tongue." With that he flaps his wings flying over to a area to meditate again leaving them to themselves.

"Okay so... you know someone who can know where we can find one of those things?" Jin asked over to her.

"Yeah, at the College." Frisk nodded.

"Well we better get there. Where's your skeleton friend at?" Jin asked looking around for Sans who always pops up at moments like this.

"He… didn't come, he's with the others." Frisk confessed. "We… need to walk."

"*sigh* Well I suppose it's a nice change of pace. I still don't understand him." Jin admitted before he, and Frisk turned walking down High Hrothgar together to head back to where there friends are at.

Meanwhile...

They are still in Sky Haven Temple helping the place get cleaned up with Esbern checking over ancient relics, or books like a kid on a field day while Delphine is sitting by herself on a long table not moving for anything while the monsters checked them out. The monsters also had some others moved in to help out alongside a cook.

"We are doing well your majesty." spoken a firespawn in a bartender outfit with several cookware with him having glasses spoke to Toriel as she's doing something herself.

"That's good Grillby." Toriel smiled only to sigh. "I hope Frisk and Jin are doing well though... I can't help but feel worried... perhaps one of us should have gone with them?"

"NOT TO WORRY YOUR MAJESTY! HUMAN FRISK AND HUMAN JIN ARE BOTH NEARLY AS AMAZING AS ME! I AM SURE THEY'LL BE FINE!"

"Yeah, what Paps said." Undyne grinned over while she, and Papyrus are moving some stuff. Mettaton moved around cleaning over by moping or sweeping over the area with some other monsters. "They'll be okay, there's nothing they have to be afraid of."

"I know, I shouldn't be worried... but the last time we haven't seen her was when she went to the Thalmor Embassy." Asriel admitted nervously.

"She's ok Azzy... she has to be." Chara frowned before pausing noticing Delphine was glaring at them again as her eyes darkened and she glared back with her "creepy Face".

"Well uh... we should help them all be comfortable here." Alphys spoken over softly as she helps wipe down the area.

"Oh your majesty, where should we take these?" a Royal Guard, Lesser Dog barked over as in his arms Blades armor asking over Asgore what they shall they do with them since they place he found them wasn't the armory.

Asgore flinched slightly as painful memories came back to him before closing his eyes. "Take good care of that armor, it's very important and put it wherever Delphine tells you."

"Yes sir." Lesser Dog nodded as he walked off.

"I'd heard stories of the Blades, your majesty." even Gerson was there cackling over he is like Esbern fascinated over the ancient Akaviri structure. "Still boggles the mind that Frisk was one but makes complete sense actually."

"I suppose, still... she's not like the others." Asgore frowned thoughtfully.

"Ah, those old days your majesty... whatever hostilities that remain seem to have dwindled away... and now we are looking for a better peaceful era with the Blades." Gerson patted Asgore's shoulder from this. "She of course made that possible."

"I know." Asgore nodded before frowning as he stood up. "Delphine?"

"What?" Delphine turned over with a glare where despite apologizing back at Kynesgrove she still haven't gotten over it.

Asgore frowned as he drew his trident. "Would you like to train together? For the coming battles?"

"Train?" Delphine blinked over from this not expecting that.

"Yes, I actually did train with humans a long time ago... and I feel it could help us put our past behind us... not to the death of course, just work on our skills." Asgore confirmed.

Delphine stared over before then glaring closing her eyes standing up. "To the courtyard then." She grabs her Blades Katana walking up.

Asgore nodded following her. Undyne stared up with a soft frown. Something doesn't seem right to her about this... although she knows Asgore can take care of himself, she isn't sure if Delphine is the type to hold back for training. Arriving in the courtyard Asgore looked at Delphine. "Whenever you're ready."

Delphine drew her sword staring over, and readied over with a sharp glare of concentration. Seeing that Esbern looked at them. "Begin!"

Delphine charged in which Asgore dodged where Delphine turned to slash over to where Asgore blocked moving over, and swinging that Delphine ducked down, and tried stabbing several times that Asgore avoided moving back. Delphine charged in ahead that Asgore moved away trying to attack again that Delphine blocked with her katana before spinning trying to kick which Asgore dodged, and tried thrusting over forcing Delphine to knell spinning around to slash that Asgore turned his trident blocking the blow. Undeterred Delphine charged in jumping, and kneeing Asgore at the chin knocking him back before he narrowly avoided a slash from above, and Delphine continued on attacking which he dodges or blocks. Then one stab made it's way through grazing Asgore's cheek where he jumps back.

The members of the Royal Guard all moved to attack but Asgore held up a hand to stop them as a fireball formed in his hand which he threw at Delphine only for her to avoid it as she realized he was starting to use magic too and so she shot flames which he blocked by slashing with his trident before his eyes began to flash Orange Orange Blue Orange Blue as he swing his Trident in large swings.

She moved blocking the orange but suffered damage on blue which threw her off which gets her hit by the last orange before Asgore kicked her down to the ground where he points his trident down on her. Then when he offered a hand she growled pulling out a dagger which takes Asgore off guard but before he can move Delphine manages to stab into his hand.

Wincing he took the dagger out of his hand which unfortunately meant he took his eyes off her and with one swing she could kill the king of Monsters right there. She moved to do it but freezes before she can land the blow allowing him to step back while Esbern yelled over. "Enough!" Toriel went over assessing the damage, and starts healing Asgore's hand.

"Not too much. It'll be alright but don't use it for a day just in case." Toriel told him gently while Asriel, and Chara came out to see what's going on.

"I should have expected that kind of thing... it was my mistake, but better with someone here than the Thalmor or dragons." Asgore admitted before carefully clenching his fist and relaxing his hand.

"mind explaining that last stunt?" Sans asked Delphine.

"Let... me... go!" Delphine demanded over still frozen from Sans' gaze glaring over.

"answer the question first and then sure." Sans told her.

"Sans that's enough." Asgore told him as the short skeleton blinked before shrugging and put his hand back in his pocket so Delphine could move again.

Delphine glared over before Esbern takes her shoulder. "Delphine, what was that about? This was a training session only."

"You know as well as I do these vermin are not to be trusted Esbern." Delphine shrugged over his hand staring intently. "There shirking the Dragonborn of his sacred duty to destroy the Dragons, and Alduin, and we're just letting that happen!"

"Now Delphine we already established over that the monsters are no longer the enemies we thought they were." Esbern had been told of the story that Asgore had told Delphine before, and while he is skeptical of it doesn't have a reason to believe Asgore is lying, and figured it be better to agree then disagree. Not to mention Frisk had put in a good vouch for them, and from knowing her as he taught her the Dragon Tongue, and that she is Vipsanius' Granddaughter he respects the young girl's wishes that monster's are friends. "Now why don't you put the petty hatred aside, and respect young Frisk's wishes."

"Esbern... I am the Grandmaster of the Blades, not YOU." Delphine stated over with a sharp stare. "That means, I'm in charge around here, so you do what I say. If it was up to me, we would not need the Greybeards to stop Alduin but circumstances forces me to take actions I regret. And what's more it also involves letting the Dragonborn think it's alright to spare one of it's kind, you know the kind of actions that Paarthurnax done in the past."

"Yes... regrettably, you are correct about him." Esbern admitted over she agrees about said dragon. "But this isn't the time to worry about that, it's Alduin we need to concern ourselves about. Once he is stopped then we worry about Paarthurnax."

Chara glared at her. "You're just like those Thalmor."

"I am nothing like those racist elves. Don't compare me to vermin like those." Delphine glared back before turning walking off.

Esbern sighed over rubbing his head, and turned to them bowing his head. "Please allow me to apologize on Delphine's behalf. She's still young, and woefully ignorant to see the bigger picture. Hopefully she'll come too at some point."

"The Thalmor think anyone not human deserves to die, you feel the same way about the Monsters." Chara told Delphine before glaring at her while watching her walk off. "Choose a side, dad, or Elenwen?"

"I don't need to pick a side. Cause I don't need either of them." Delphine spoke back still leaving as they watched her head back loosing her in there vision.

Ulrich362: Um… well Chara was trying to get her to realize her hypocrisy but I guess only Frisk can boss her around?

bopdog111: The term is more appropriately 'owning' her. If you don't know what it means, it's putting Delphine in her place, or basically telling her to STFU.

Ulrich362: Fair enough… so next a trip to the college and going underground for… Jin, Sans, and Asriel?

bopdog111: Through the base of Blackreach. Which will definitely take the monsters off guard as they never seen a place like it before underground.

Ulrich362: Agreed, see you in the next chapter.

bopdog111: Be sure to review!
