Breath in, he took a deep breath held it, breath out, and exhaled. It's all his mind allowed him to do while he waited for the Haruno's to arrive. Mikoto and Fugaku were already waiting outside his office, no doubt as anxious as he was feeling. Once more breath in, inhale, breath out, exhale. Minato was so lost in his little world, or at least so lost was he in his attempt to go to said world that he had almost forgotten he was not alone in his office.

"Is it twins?" Almost, so close so damn close.

"What?"

Shisui brought his hands together, it almost looked to Minato like a prayer as he asked, "is Sakura pregnant with twins?"

Minato scowled at Shisui almost at a loss for words, "do you want her to be?"

"I want grandpa Fugaku to be a thing more than anything in this life." He grabbed Minato by the shoulders, "Hokage-same, look into my eyes," some would call a man a fool for looking directly at an Uchiha's eyes, and while Minato knew the sharingan would not greet him. He was sure something idiotic would, and he was not disappointed, Shisui was giving him puppy dog eyes as he said, "you do not understand how badly I want this for that man."

"Did you not tell me that you knew when you were unwanted?"

"Which is exactly why I am here, once they find out its triplets coming you'll need my protection," he sat down on the chair across the Hokage's desk, "I am here for your safety. They'll be all, "but Hokage-sama why didn't you split the team up after they were caught being handsy on an A rank mission! It's all your fault!" but you'll have me to say "no it is the fault of those horny kids!" You are absolutely welcome in advance."

Minato hated to admit it, but Shisui did have some good points, minus the triplets part. "Did Itachi tell you anything about those two? Any warning signs?"

"That they were having sex? Yeah, the amount of times Kizashi found Sasuke in Sakura's room in the middle of the night would be one huge clue."

"She isn't pregnant!" Minato said more aggressively than he intended, "at least I don't think she is."

"So she might be." Shisui smiled, "Grandpa Fugaku might be happening?"

"Look," Minato sighed, sitting down on the chair next to Shisui. He figured he could use the practice in getting the words out, "you know how Kakashi's team escorted the Kazekage to Suna as a show of goodwill?" Shisui nodded, "well, Sasuke and Sakura got married."

"Oh, well that's not too bad," Minato was shocked by the clear disappointment in Shisui's voice. "Once they get back to the village get it annulled, the parents don't even have to know. Actually, I am pretty sure you could get it annulled without them actually in the village."

"You think I didn't think of that? " Good to know other shinobi thought so little of him. "The Kazekage was the one that married them."

"Oh!" Shisui was excited again, "so what you are saying is that there is a possibility that the quadruplets are coming?"

A/N: I've felt like writing, so here you go! This AU is supposed to be goofy to start with, but that's cause it is from Minato's perspective at the moment, basically not his circus not his monkeys. Except those monkey decided they would make sure they were his problem.

Would like to add I have for sure noticed a drop in engagement within the SasuSaku fandom (well naruto in general), and it is such a shame, because while i may not be inspired to write as often as I used to, I still get a bunch of ideas for SasuSaku. In general the issue with the Naruto series has always been the plot, not the characters, so it is absolutely tragic (dramatic for drama's sake) to see the fandom slowing down when there are so many potential stories within those characters.
