Chapter 723 The Phoenix Rises

Aka was at a different world and he looks around.
"I wonder if theres any potential saints here." Aka said.
He saw someone crashing next to him and he saw it was a guy that is japanese but was wearing chinese style clothing, like a sleeves shirt with black pants, the thing most stand out about him os a pigtail in his black hair.
He gets up and looks at himself. "Thanks to that pervert I got weak."
"Wait you got weak." Aka said making the guy look at him.
"Yeah, you wanna laugh at me?!" He said.
"No, what technique did that pervert use?" Aka asked.
"The moxibustion technique." He said.
"That thing!" Aka was shocked.
That's a technique that makes a fighter weaker than a baby, normally theres no cure but...
"What's your name?" Aka asked.
"Ranma Saotome."
"Well Ranma there is a way to cure yourself." Aka said surprising him.
"Wait really?!" Ranma said.
"Yes, theres a secondary energy called Cosmos." Aka said.
"Cosmos?" Ranma said.
"You might know the stand ki based ones of a martial artist but Cosmos can be learned to those that have the potential." Aka stares at Ranma. "And I can feel it inside of you."
"So that can help me?" Ranma said.
"Yes, even if that guy were to do that against a Saint, which is what we're called, he would only take the parts he took from you, not Cosmos since that's like saying I'm taking the universes power." He said.
"Yeah no way he can do that, but what's the catch?" Ranma asked.
"Well all saints have one main job they have to do." Aka said.
"Which is?" Ranma said.
"To protect Lady Athena." He said.
Ranma blinks. "Athena, well that's more surprising than the stuff i've seen, so she's real?"
"Yes, she's the goddess that granted saints to increase they're powers with special cloths that would give them the power they need to protect her." Aka said.
"So armors, okay so basically we're like her knights." Ranma said.
"Yes, it seems your interested." Aka said.
"Hey after what he did i'll take anything." Ranma said.
"Then come with me." Aka said.
Later
They arrived at the sanctuary and Ranma looks around. "Man you could make a portal."
"Yes, also meet the other new saints." He shows him to the training area.
Ranma saw the new members being Koga and the other three are Yuna, a girl from Russia that has blonde hair and blue eyes.
Ryuho has long black hair and green eyes, he's also the son of Shiryu the previous dragon Saint.
And the last one has long brown hair and eyes, this is Haruto.
"Hey they're younger than me!" Ranma points at them.
"Many saints start young like them." Aka said. "You have the actual fighting experience."
Yuna looks at them and said: "So Aka is this the new member?"
"Yes, this is Ranma, and Ranma meet Koga, Haruto, Yuna and Ryuho." Aka said.
"Yeah nice to meet you all." Ranma said.
"Nice to meet you too." Ryuho bows to him.
"So are they any other members?" Ranma asked.
"No, they got killed off." Aka frowns.
"Wait how?!" Ranma looks at him.
"We had a traitor." Aka said.
"Oh those types of situations, well we can work that out better." Ranma said.
"Well all of you will train and will become Bronze saints if you managed to do it." Aka said.
"Bronze, then what rank are you?" Ranma asked.
"I am a gold Saint." Aka said.
"Oh so your like the top dog?" Ranma said.
"Yes a gold Saint is the highest rank among saints." Aka said.
"Okay, so silver is like mid rank, still ain't going to be surpassed by you." Ranma said with a smirk.
"I wouldn't think of it, as my mentor was a Bronze saint and he was able to fight a gold Saint on his own despite the power of the cloth given to him, the traitor that I defeated was a gold Saint but I managed to defeat him as a bronze Saint too." Aka said.
"Now let's get training." Aka said.
They were at the Colosseum as they were wearing trainee clothes and they looked up to see Aka looking down from the top.
"Okay let's do some basic training?" Aka said.
"Do you always have to be in that spot?" Ranma asked.
"No, it would have been for the Pope." Aka said.
"The pope?" They said.
"Yes, he's the one that is chosen from the strongest saint and is the right hand of Athena, the one that watches over the Sanctuary, with some always being Gold saints." Aka said.
They stared at him and Koga said: "Isn't that you."
"No, I'm not the Pope, Athena is the one chooses one and we didn't have one ever since the original was killed by Saga to use his identity to kill the others." Aka said. "Do you even see me wearing that get up." He points to the side.
They looked and saw a glass container with the Pope outift of Aries Shion.
"What does the Pope do outside of this?" Haruto asked.
"Well he's the only one that has access to the Star Hill." Aka said.
"Oh I heard legends." Ryuho said.
"What does that place do?" Ranma asked.
"How am I supposed to know, I'm not the Pope." Aka said.
"Touche." Ranma said.
"Athena chose to do the job herself since we don't have members to choose to become the Pope since we are only six." Aka said.
"Oh right." Koga said. "We are only trainees and Aka's the only real Saint."
"Yes, now do push ups." Aka said and they started to do it.
Aka sits on a chair and said: "The last thing I wanted to become is a Pope, the guy that is the great strategist and the religious head of the sanctuary, i'm a warrior not a guy that watches things happening."
The trainees kept working as some were doing intense training, like moving boulders with they're backs.
Ranma was grunting but he has some strenght back thanks to the cosmos trying to help him out.
"Come on, we can't give up!" Koga said.
"Right!" They said.
They were now climbing a cliff without any gear, Ranma was climbing before a rock breaks and he goes to fall but then Haruto grabs him in time.
Ranma looks at him and smiles making Haruto smile too.
"We saints gotta stock together." Haruto said.
Aka watches and smiles, they need to work together since that's how real saints do.
The group kept working together to avoid many obstacles and endure harsh weather.
After some time they were at the Colosseum and Aka said: "You all done well, you've managed to get through the harsh training and managed to overcome it, now normally we would make you guys fight."
"What?!" They said.
"But i'm not going to do that, since you guys are all worthy." Aka said.
"Oh good." Yuna said.
Many boxes appeared and they were Pegasus, Aquila, Wolf, Dragon and Phoenix.
"These are your new cloths." Aka said.
They turned into dog tags that went to they're users, Koga got Pegasus, Yuna Aquila, Haruto Wolf, Ryuho dragon and Ranma Phoenix.
"Now Ranma, how about we teach someone a lesson." Aka said.
"Now your talking." Ranma smiles.
They saw Athena appear making them stunned.
"It's her." Haruto said.
"Wow, she fits part." Ranma said.
"It seems the saints are reborn, welcome." She said and they bowd to her.
Later
Ranma was back in his new world and he looks at his hands.
"I've gotten stronger, much stronger than what I was before." Ranma said.
"Ranma!" He saw Akane coming with Shampoo. "Shampoo's grandmother been trying to find you, she knows a move that can help you."
"No need." He said.
"What?" They got surprised.
"I helped him out." They saw Aka come out.
"You did." Akane said.
"Yes, let's get that pervert." Aka said.
Happosai was running foward with underwear inside of a bag.
"Sweeto!" He laughs.
He goes to a park but then he saw Ranma with his arms crossed.
"Oh look it's Ranma, well boy I heard you've been trying to learn that technique so I won't get mad-" Happosai then got kicked away.
Happosai got up in shock and said: "What?! You couldn't have gotten your strenght back!"
"Actually I did." Ranma grins.
The other students came and they got amazed along with his father and Soun.
"Ranma got his strenght back." Genma said.
"Yes." Soun said.
"That's amazing." Ukyo said.
"What's this Ranma back from the dead?!" Mousse came with Kuno and the Principal.
"Lie on your own whim." Kuno said.
"We're going to have the big fun." Principal said.
But then Ranma kicks them away with ease.
"Do you see I'm strong again." Ranma smirks.
Aka came with the other saints.
"Well you take him down Ranma, we'll make sure they don't interfer." Aka said.
"Hey thanks." Ranma said.
Akane looks at Yuna. "Wait."
Ranma goes up to her. "Before you say anything, she's 12."
"Oh." Akane got surprised.
"Yeah, at least have some standards who you think I'm with." He goes back to the fight.
Happosai glares at Ranma. "So you got your strenght back, we'll I'm going to teach you a lesson!"
He charges at Ranma and he dodges his attacks before kicking him away.
Ranma jumps around and shoots a energy blast to knock him back.
"Alright!" Ranma said.
Happosai was getting mad and said: "I'll take your strenght again!"
Happosai attacks Ranma many times and throws a Firework bomb making Ranma block it.
"Cheater!" The saints said.
Happosai strikes Ranma in the pressure point. "There!"
But he got punched away and he got shocked. "What?! But I hit you!"
He then saw a fire Phoenix appear screeching as Ranma stands there with a smirk. "It doesn't matter."
"If that technique were to be used with another of our group it would at best cut half the power, but not with Ranma. Ranma is chosen to be the Phoenix." Aka said.
"The Phoenix?" Cologne said.
"Yes, the Phoenix Saint is the one that will always rise up from his ashes and get stronger, in other words that technique is useless against Ranma now!" Aka smiles.
Happosai got shocked and he steps back.
"So you can say he did come back from the dead, and your technique will never work against him." Aka said.
"Take this." Ranma sends a fire Phoenix at Happosai.
"No!" He said before he blasted away.
"He did it!" Genma and Soun cried.
Happosai was in a tree smoking. "Ugh, why did he have to be so strong."
Ryoga came up from behind and throws water at Ranma with a bucket. "Well good job but-' he got shocked when he saw Ranma didn't change.
The others got surprised and Akane said: "Ranma, your still the same."
"Yeah, they know about the curse and managed to break it." Ranma said. "So I ain't turning into a girl anymore little pig." Ranma smirks at Ryoga.
"No fair." He got stunned.
Nabiki looks at Aka and his group. "I wonder how did they do it."
At another world during night time
Deep inside a forest theres a four-legged cicada with long, V-shaped horns on its head.
But then the back opened making a large green humanoid creature come out, it has two wings, a tail with a needle at the tip with the same horns.
Then it's eyes glowed red showing off the danger this creature can do.
Note: Aka met Ranma and helped him out when he got weak by Happosai making him even stronger, also the new main villain has appeared and fans will know who he is.
