Chapter 5: Clark reads about Carrie White
(Later at Lois and Clark's apartment…)
Later that evening Clark got back home to the new apartment he and Lois just moved into.
(Same one from BvS later)
Lois wasn't home yet so he decided to kill time but doing some unpacking given packed boxes were all over the apartment so Clark put dishes in the kitchen cabinets and clothes in the bedroom closet Clark even gathered the empty boxes to put in trash.
Later that hour after Clark finished half of the unpacking he showered and went to his laptop…
And went on Carrie's case herself which soon led her to the prom across that YouTube video…
As Carrie & Tommy were crowned on the stage, Chris & Billy pulled the bucket of cold pigs' blood, as the blood fell, and splattered all over Carrie… After their sadistic success, Tina replayed the video, causing the whole hall to laugh at Carrie… but those choices and actions, along with Chris and Billy accidentally killing Tommy in the process of their prank, was the final nail on all their coffins…
Carrie unleashed her secret powers, through a shockwave or rage, blasting everyone across the hall, killing Heather via smashing her into the fire escape doors, face first… Carrie then continued to pick off every single student and teacher who wronged her, one by one, even those who hadn't really done anything wrong to her, including Freddy, who recorded and trying to film Carrie's abilities and humiliation… Carrie, just before she fatally smashed a table into him, before setting off the fire sprinklers, almost flooding the hall floors… as several tried to escape to the fire exits, that Carrie had closed and locked with her powers, Nicki & Lizzy, tried to get to the doors, only for Carrie to use her powers to push them over to the floor, allowing everyone else to trample the twins to death, in a desperate plea to escape…
After Carrie picked off more of her former tormentors, Carrie broke some of the stage lighting cables, causing sparks from the cables to trigger a fire, which quickly spread throughout the hall. Carrie then noticed Tina being rescued by the the school English teacher Mr. Ulmann, another teacher, who tormented her, under Tina's influence… in their attempt to escape, Carrie used her powers to throw the burning moon prop at them, separating them, before Carrie began whipping her Tina with the electric cables, until she stood in some burning furniture, as Tina caught fire, and burned to death, as Rita, Morton, George, & Erika, all watched in horror from the sight…
As Rita turned to Carrie, Carrie used her powers, grabbing her gym teacher by the throat in a vice-like grip, before lifting her up into the air… Rita was sure Carrie was going to kill her too, before Carrie threw the cables onto the flooded floor, electrocuting several students and teachers in the process, including Ulmann… But just as Rita thought Carrie was going to drop her and let her be electrocuted as well, Carrie flung her onto the stage, next to Tommy's body, before Carrie levitated and floated out of the burning school, as Rita watched in disbelief…
Clark was curious enough to go deeper till he heard the door opening and Lois just happened to walk in.
Clark closed his laptop and greeted the woman he loves with a smile.
"Hey." Clark replied.
"Hey." Lois replied.
"How'd it go?" Clark asked in concern.
"Honestly…pretty strange. The cause of high school entirely. The small city of Chamberlain, Maine was pretty strange." Lois replied.
"How so?" Clark asked in concern.
"Everyone was murdered in Ewen High School…The Black Prom Massacre." Lois replied.
"What?" Clark asked in concern.
"The students." Lois replied.
"How many people?" Clark asked in concern.
"236." Lois replied.
"236?" Clark asked in concern.
"Yeah. Just burnt CLEAN off. I…I don't understand it. And…that was this girl named Carrie White." Lois replied.
"Carrie White? She murdered 236 students in the Black Prom Massacre at Ewen High School?" Clark asked in concern.
"Yes." Lois replied.
"This have anything to do with…these telekinesis?" Clark asked in concern.
"What telekinesis?" Lois asked in concern.
Clark opened his laptop back up and showed her Carrie landed outside the school, as it was quickly engulfed by the fires she caused, Carrie then heard the rumble of a car she recognized, as she saw Chris & Billy attempting to drive away and escape from what they had made Carrie do…
As Chris & Billy managed to avoid the quickly rushing police cars, after arguing and agreeing to leave town and never look back, they began driving off, until Carrie used her powers again, as she caused the road to crack & collapse in front of them, as they nearly fell in… as they turned around back the way they came, they saw Carrie standing in the road before them… Chris influenced Billy to run Carrie over, which he complied, but before they were about to hit her, Carrie's powers blocked them, crashing straight into her powers, killing Billy in the process, banging his nose fatally on the steering wheel…
"Is that…Carrie White?" Lois asked in concern.
"The outline makes it look like it. But I'm not sure…" Clark replied.
"You don't think that's one of Zod's followers from before do you?" Lois asked in concern.
"If it is, what could they be doing at Chamberlain, Maine?" Clark asked in concern.
The puzzles both Clark and Lois so much that there's possibly something after coming round, and finding Billy dead, as well as Carrie still alive, Chris attempted to escape, only for Carrie to lock her inside the car, before attempting to strangle her with the seat belt… Chris managed to get free, before trying to finish Carrie herself, attempting to run her over again, only for Carrie to lift the car off the road, and throw it into Teddy's Gas Station behind her, as Chris's head went face first into the windscreen, getting stuck in the process…
As Carrie walked over to her, Chris tried to beg for help from Carrie, but was too injured, as her face was pierced from the glass of the windscreen, and bleeding to death, until she stopped functioning… But despite seeing her arch nemesis die before her, Carrie just walked away, before she caused a nearby power cable to break, and crash down onto the leaking car, before the car, and the gas station exploded into flames, as Carrie walked away…
"Yeah. I'm going to Chamberlain, Maine. I interviewed Stewart Murphy, Carrie murdered everyone in Chamberlain one year later." Lois replied.
"Stewart Murphy? The Police Commissioner." Clark replied.
"Yes. The survivors of Ewen High School." Lois replied.
"How many people?" Clark asked in concern.
"Six. The four students and two teachers." Lois replied.
"Six. What's six names?" Clark asked in concern.
"Sue Snell, Tommy Ross, Rita Desjardin, Principal Henry Morton, George Dawson, & Erika Gogan." Lois replied.
"The pictures of Ewen High School?" Clark asked in concern.
"Yes. Watch the pictures." Lois replied.
"Of course." Clark replied.
Clark and Lois read the 236 named pictures of deaths: Chris Hargensen, Billy Nolan, Tina Blake, Jackie Talbot, Nicki and Lizzy Watson, Kenny Garson, Heather Shyres, Anissa Chen, Rachel Spies, Jessica Upshaw, Freddy Holt and all the rest who died during Carrie's Prom night revenge… And the four named pictures of survivors: Sue Snell, Tommy Ross, Rita Desjardin, Principal Henry Morton, George Dawson, & Erika Gogan, the rest who were alive during Carrie's Prom night revenge…
"The 236 all deaths of students. The six survivors of them." Clark replied.
"I know." Lois replied.
"Carrie in Chamberlain, Maine." Clark replied.
"Yeah." Lois replied.
"Carrie's mother?" Clark asked in concern.
"Yes. Her name is Margaret White." Lois replied.
"Margaret White. What about Carrie's father?" Clark said in concern.
"I don't know." Lois replied.
"Carrie's parents' story." Clark replied.
"Yes, sure." Lois replied.
Clark and Lois read Carrie's parents: the late Margaret Brigham-White & Ralph White. Ralph was killed by a car accident in 1995. And Margaret White was killed by her daughter Carrie in 2013.
"Ralph White was killed in a car accident. Margaret White killed by…Carrie?" Lois asked in concern.
"Yeah." Clark replied.
"I can't believe it." Lois replied.
"Carrie White had power." Clark replied.
"Carrie had a telekinesis?" Lois asked in concern.
"Yes." Clark nodded.
"Oh my God." Lois replied, gasping.
The puzzles both Clark and Lois so much that there's possibly something brewing in the heart of Carrie White weather telekinesis maybe there or…something worse…
