Chapter 8: Clark meets Murphy

Clark pulled the door open and turned to the Snells.

"Thank you for the interview." Eleanor replied.

Clark shakes hands with Eleanor's hand.

"No problem." Clark replied.

"Thank you for being here. Welcome to Chamberlain, Maine." Edward replied.

Clark shakes hands with Edward's hand.

"You're welcome." Clark replied.

"Thank you Mr. Kent." Sierra replied.

Clark shakes hands with Sierra's hand.

"My pleasure, Sierra." Clark replied.

"Where are you going?" Sierra asked in concern.

"I'm going to the CPD. I will meet the Commissioner." Clark replied.

"Stewart Murphy right?" Eleanor asked in concern.

"That's right. See you later." Clark replied.

"See you later. Good luck." Edward replied.

Clark smiled, walked away and stepped out of the Snell's Residence.

(Later at Chamberlain Police Department…)

Of course Clark goes to the CPD.

"Hi. Can I help you?" The cop asked in concern.

"Yes sir. Hi. I'm Clark Kent of the Daily Planet. I'm here to see Commissioner Stewart Murphy." Clark replied.

"Yes. The Commissioner is here. One moment." The cop replied.

"Okay." Clark replied.

The cop pressed the button to the radio.

"Yes?" Murphy's voice asked in concern.

"Commissioner Murphy. His name is Clark Kent of the Daily Planet. He went to talk to you." The cop replied.

"Very good. He came to my office, please. Thank you." Murphy's voice replied.

"No problem. Mr. Kent, he is at his office. He is over there." The cop replied, as he pointed thumb back to Murphy's office.

"Thank you." Clark replied, as he walked away.

Suddenly there was a knock on the door.

"Come on." Murphy replied.

Clark pulls the door open and enters Murphy's office and pulls the door closed. Murphy stood up to shake hands with Clark.

"Mr. Kent." Murphy replied.

"Commissioner Murphy." Clark replied.

Clark shakes hands with Murphy's hand.

"Nice to meet you." Murphy replied.

"Nice to meet you too." Clark replied.

"Sit, please." Murphy replied, as he pointed at his chair.

"Thank you." Clark replied.

Clark sat on the chair.

"Welcome to Chamberlain, Maine." Murphy replied.

"I'll do my best sir." Clark replied.

"You're a reporter from Daily Planet, right?" Murphy asked in concern.

"That's right." Clark replied.

"I interviewed Lois Lane for the Daily Planet, right?" Murphy asked in concern.

"Yes. She's my love interest." Clark replied.

"Good. You're in Metropolis." Murphy replied.

"Yes, I'm from Metropolis. Commissioner, I won't take too much of his time. I just need to ask you a few questions about Carrie White." Clark replied.

Clark takes and gives the picture to Murphy and watches the picture of Carrie.

"Yes Mr. Kent. That's Carrie White. She killed everyone in here one year later." Murphy replied.

"The students died." Clark replied.

"234." Murphy replied.

"I read the story of Carrie White. Her parents Ralph and Margaret White." Clark replied.

"Yes. Ralph White was killed in a car accident. Margaret White was killed." Murphy replied.

"Carrie killed her mother. A girl named Sue Snell." Clark replied.

"Yes. I interviewed Sue Snell. So, Mr. Kent, Carrie killed the most students, Chris Hargensen, Billy Nolan, Tina Blake, Jackie Talbot, Heather Shyres, Brian Maxwell, Nicki and Lizzy Watson, Kenny Garson, and the all students in the Black Prom Massacre at Ewen High School and Teddy Gas Station. The six survived Sue Snell, Tommy Ross, Rita Desjardin, Henry Morton, George Dawson, and Erika Gogan. One year later." Murphy explained.

"I met Sue's family Eleanor, Edward, and Sierra Snell." Clark replied.

"Very good." Murphy replied.

Murphy gives the picture to Clark.

(Later, meanwhile…)

And Carrie we come back to her when she's sitting homeless in the woods when Carrie's killer students from Ewen High School and Teddy's Gas Station. She burned down one year later…

Carrie later stood up. She picked her homeless person up and was about to move on until…she heard gunshots, looked back, eye's widened and gasped seeing two hunters and students, Harry Trenant & Greg DeLois coming…

And they just killed a deer and it made Carrie think of when she killed students and it was enough to go after Harry and Greg so she pulled out her hood.

"Hey Harry. Look over there." Greg replied.

The first hunter Harry looked over and Carrie wasn't there anymore.

"What?" Harry asked in concern.

"There was a girl over there just a second ago." Greg replied.

"It was probably one of the students from Ewen High School not far from here." Harry replied.

"Yes. Carrie White. That bastard killed everyone in Ewen High School & Teddy's Gas Station!" Greg replied.

"Oh my God, I can't believe it. Fuck. Come on get in the car, Greg." Harry replied.

Harry was about to get in the driver's seat till he looked up to see Carrie on top of the truck and launched his foot on Harry's face and crushed it to bits.

Greg heard the crunching noise and looked back to see Harry's lifeless body with smashed face drop to the ground and Carrie on the trucker who looked at him and in panic.

"YOU!" Greg called.

"Hi Greg." Carrie replied.

"You killed Harry!" Greg said.

"You and everyone laughing at me at the prom!" Carrie said.

"You killed everyone!" Greg said.

"Yes. Goodbye Greg." Carrie said.

Greg ran screaming where the family who was camping they mentioned earlier heard the screams.

The kids were more curious about the scream while the parents were building the fire and the screaming soon fainted meaning Carrie got him too without them knowing.

"You think someone's in trouble?" Girl asked in concern.

"I don't know." Boy replied.

Soon after they smelled smoke and it was not their camp fire it was…a forest fire.

The kids screamed which caught the parent's attention and soon they saw the fire themselves the Mom screamed as the Dad grabbed both the kids and they ran to their own truck.

"Everyone in the truck! Now!" Dad called.

The family got in with the Mom in the passenger seat the Dad tried to drive out of there but as they got to the other side there was fire there too the family was trapped.

(Later at the CPD…)

Clark leaves Murphy's office.

"Thank you for being here in my office Mr. Kent." Murphy replied.

Clark shakes hands with Murphy's hand.

"Thank you Commissioner Murphy." Clark replied.

Clark walked and stepped out of Murphy's office.

Clark stepped out of the CPD where Clark heard sirens with his super hearing and even saw the smoke of the forest fire from where she was…

Clark then made a run to a nearby alleyway pulling off his glasses and pulling open his shirt revealing the S logo…
