Penny walked out first from the fireplace as Nick brought Seiji through next. Seiji couldn't find this place in his memories, so he had to be brought along. Seiji dusted himself off and he looked around, suppressing a growl as he saw the amount of what he tagged as Aurors just standing around the area. A man in front of them all seemed more important than the standard rank and file and Seiji accessed his mind vault. Based on the height and the description of his dress, Seiji could guess that this was Sebastian Delacour, leader of the French Ministry's Department of Magical Law Enforcement. Seiji looked at him as he walked forward to greet Nick and Penny.

"It is an honor to host you both, Lord and Lady Flamel." Sebastian said as he shook hands with both of Seiji's adopted parents. They accepted the handshake, though Penny seemed a bit miffed.

"You would welcome us as honored guests, but not our son?" Penny asked as Seiji smiled slightly.

"Mother, it is fine. I will simply treat him with the same respect, which is none." Seiji said as the Aurors all flinched. Seiji chuckled as Sebastian glared at Seiji and walked over to him.

"I agreed to this appointment so you could possibly take part in next year's melee. I could still refuse you." Sebastian said as Seiji's eyes darkened at the threat. He looked at all the Aurors surrounding them as Seiji smiled darkly. His hand flexed as he wondered if these Aurors were allowed deadly force against him.

"I applaud that you are able to make this threat sir, especially when you have all of your subordinates here to back you up? But how are you in single combat? I understand you are good, but just how good are you?" Seiji challenged as Nick grinned widely.

"I believe we should test this. Monsieur Delacour, would you care to test Seiji yourself?" Nick asked as Penny nodded. Sebastian was about to answer, when an angelic voice broke the tension.

"Papa, why have you called so many Aurors for one man?" a young female voice was heard as she appeared. Seiji spun and stopped short. A beautiful girl with platinum blonde hair was standing in front of the man who insulted him looking rather curious at the gathering. A vanilla and cinnamon scent entered Seiji's nose. Seiji seemed drawn to the girl when Sin spoke in his head. 'Lock down your mind, she has an ability to attract you.' Sin growled as Seiji blinked and locked his mind down. The attraction faded slightly as the girl raised an eyebrow at him.

"I suppose you are the one my Papa will be testing?" she asked demurely. Seiji looked over her shoulder and saw that her father, Sebastian, seemed none too happy that his daughter was interacting with Seiji, and Seiji decided to have some fun.

"I am my Lady, but you have me at a disadvantage. I do not even know your name." Seiji said as he bowed low. As he rose, Seiji spoke again. "I suppose angels have no names, only beautiful faces." He said as the girl in front of him blushed.

"Survive against my Papa, and I will give you my name, Sir Hunter." she said as Seiji smiled.

"I await the challenge then." Seiji said as Sebastain was now fuming. He stalked forward.

"Enough! Let us get on with this foolish test!" Sebastian said as Seiji looked at him innocently. Sebastian motioned for everyone to follow and Seiji winked at his parents. Nick was trying hard not to laugh, while Penny passed a few messages with hand gestures that showed she was not very happy with either of the men. Seiji shrugged as they arrived at an open room big enough for their test. Seiji looked around as he saw Sebastian set some wards along the stands as Seiji removed his coat. Nick took it and looked to his adopted son.

"Don't beat him too badly, I know he insulted you, but don't kill him." Nick said softly as Seiji looked at his opponent across the stage.

"I won't kill him, but no promises on the injury." Seiji said softly as he looked to the girl. She was watching him curiously as Seiji decided to put on a show.

"Watch out on that one, have you read about veelas yet?" Nick asked as Seiji nodded.

"She's one?" Seiji asked as Nick nodded before stepping back and joining his wife in the stands. Seiji rolled his shoulders as he loosened his muscles for the coming workout. Seiji looked at Sebastian as he was speaking with DuCasse. DuCasse stepped forward and raised his hand.

"We are gathered here today to witness Seiji Flamel's skills in seeing which skills will be allowed in next year's melee tournament!" DuCasse said as everyone in the stands nodded. Seiji looked to Lord Delacour and bowed slightly. 'I am going to destroy you.' Seiji thought as Sin awakened. 'Teach him what happens when they insult Dragons.' Sin said as Seiji dropped into one of his stances, one hand behind his back and a knife hand low and ready. Sebastian looked at him as DuCasse motioned for them to start. Sebastian led with a silent Stunner as Seiji seemed to spin out of the way.

"Please! I killed four Aurors the day I showed up and all they threw at me was this!" Seiji growled as he dodged a few more spells as he assessed his opponent. Sebastian was the Head of the DMLE for going on five years now, which implied that he was no slouch when it came to combat. Seiji went through three handsigns and smiled. "Fire Style! Fireball Jutsu!" Seiji barked as he breathed a giant fireball out of his mouth. 'Let's see how he deals with that.' Seiji said as Sin was seated in his mind, watching their opponent as well. Sin saw as the fireball was reduced as water appeared from Sebastian's wand and Seiji nodded. 'Expected Sin, testing the waters, now that there is water…' Seiji trailed off as Sin grinned evilly. 'Unleash your Ice my student!' Sin ordered. Seiji grinned evilly and waited for the next attack. His eyes were scanning the area as another spell came flying at him. Seiji jumped and flipped backwards and landed on the wall as he observed the area again. There was quite a bit of water which made Seiji smile as Sebastian was looking at Seiji angrily. Seiji tilted his head curiously as he looked at his opponent, wondering why he was so hostile. Seiji moved again as an exploding spell hit the wall he was previously standing on.

"How long are you going to be a coward, little boy!" Sebastian shouted as everyone looked at Seiji as they heard him laugh.

"And how long are you going to feel threatened by someone half your age?" Seiji asked as he looked at the Head Auror. Sebastian sent more spells as Seiji continued to dodge until he landed near the water. "My turn." Seiji said grinning evilly as he went through handsigns and finished in the Ram seal. "Ice Style! Ice Dragon Jutsu!" Seiji shouted as the water froze and turned into a giant ice dragon. Seiji gave the order and it flew at Sebastian as Seiji grinned. 'Well done, Seiji.' Sin said as the dragon enveloped Sebastian before Seiji looked at him, dispersing the Ice dragon as Sebastian fell to his knees. He took a moment and Seiji couldn't stop himself. "Would you like to take a break?" Seiji asked as Sebastain glared at Seiji, a new spell flying from his wand. Seiji seemed to move at the last second and Nick and Penny recognized the familiar black and red vortex in their adopted son's eyes as Seiji activated the Mangekyou Sharingan. Nick put a hand on Penny's arm to stop her from rising to her feet.

"We must trust our son to not escalate." Nick said as Penny nodded. Seiji looked at Sebastian, an odd look on his face.

"This isn't a test anymore, this is trying to prove something." Seiji observed as he looked to DuCasse. "Is this an adequate display of my talents?" Seiji asked as DuCasse motioned to Seiji's eyes.

"And what do those do young man?" DuCasse asked as Seiji channeled chakra to his eyes and the Mangekyou Sharingan faded from his eyes as he looked at the official.

"Apologies, it was not my intention to reveal this last trick of mine, but necessity forced my hand." Seiji said as he looked at Sebastian who was getting to his feet. Several medical wizards approached the man and looked over him, seeing if he had any injuries. Surprisingly, Sebastian Delacour had no injuries, he was just chilled to the bone. One of the medical wizards cast a Warming charm on him as he straightened. Seiji turned back to DuCasse.

"This is known as the Sharingan, and allows me to increase my reaction time, reading lips, and other things." Seiji said activating the regular Sharingan and explaining its powers. Every Wizard within earshot was enraptured by Seiji's explanation of why his eyes could change. "When I increase the power to my eyes." Seiji said as the commas began to spin rapidly as the vortex activated as Seiji upgraded to the Mangekyou. "I am still learning the abilities of this one, but the main skills are illusions and trans-dimensional transporting." Seiji said as DuCasse nodded and looked at his eyes. Seiji suddenly moved out of the way of something as Seiji's hand reached out and caught the knife thrown at him. DuCasse nodded.

"I see, I believe your eyes may be a little difficult to monitor. Perhaps a further, private explanation of their power could help me determine if they are allowed." DuCasse said as Seiji nodded. A vanilla and cinnamon scent trailed Seiji's nose as the platinum blonde haired girl approached him.

"My name is Fleur Delacour, thank you for not harming my Papa in your demonstration of your amazing Skills." Fleur said as Seiji smiled and bowed deeply.

"It was not my intention to harm the leader of the French DMLE." Seiji replied as Fleur smiled again, Seiji was having trouble focusing as Sin aided in locking his mind down.

"I hope to see you next year, perhaps we will cross blades." Fleur said as she left with her father. Seiji smiled and watched her leave, noticing the slight sway in Fleur's hips as she walked away.

Sebastian walked with his daughter as he was fuming. "That boy should not be allowed to participate in the melee!" he fumed as Fleur giggled at his anger. "And what exactly do you find funny, little Flower?" Sebastian asked as Fleur looked at her father.

"He didn't hurt you and his Skills are perfectly fine to participate in the melee. With a handful of restrictions, he would be perfect for the melee." Fleur said as Sebastian arrived at his office and took a seat. "And it would be interesting to cross blades with him." Fleur said grinning mischievously. Sebastian looked at his daughter and smiled.

"And now it may be time to continue your training." Sebastian said as Fleur smiled.

"Very well Papa." Fleur said. Sebastian smiled as they headed home via the fireplace in his office.

After an extensive, and slightly uncomfortable talk with DuCasse, Seiji walked out of the office and looked to Nick and Penny. "There will be an owl delivered to us with my restrictions, so far it's mostly my eyes, and even that may be lifted." Seiji said as Nick and Penny seemed overjoyed at that statement as Seiji seemed lost in thought. "I'll need some new kit." Seiji said as he thought over the melee after having it explained by Official DuCasse. His sword was approved, but he would need a secondary choice in case he needed it. There was research one of his clones sent him as they were reading a magazine of a weapon maker named Winkler. "I'll need to go to America, Mother and Father. I will return soon." Seiji said as he vanished in his flock of ravens. Nick and Penny looked at each other and were confused as to where their son was off to.

Seiji appeared in America as he blinked slightly, looking around as he looked. He was just outside of a small store as Seiji pulled his coat a little closer and walked towards the shop. The bell rang above Seiji as he walked in. A woman looked up and smiled as Seiji walked in.

"Hello, how can I help you young man?" She asked as Seiji once again cursed his young age. He was a killer, but he was only twelve years old. He looked at the woman and smiled slightly, a skill that Penny was training him in, emotions were difficult for him to portray. "Do I have the honor of meeting the great Lady Karen Shook?" Seiji asked as the woman blinked, astonished that this young teen knew her name.

"You do, may I ask who you are, young man?" Karen asked as Seiji smiled at her.

"My name is Seiji, may I speak to your husband, Master Winkler? I would like some custom hawks made for me. I have specific tastes." Seiji said as Karen's smile faded.

"And if I may ask, what does a teenager need my husband's work for?" Karen asked as Seiji paused in his thinking. He was used to walking into weapon shops and getting his orders underway in no time. This world was different.

"I- I am a warrior, I need your husband's steel to further complete my mission." Seiji said honestly, thinking this was the best way to proceed. Karen looked at the teen and rose to her feet.

"Wait here." Karen said as Seiji nodded and the woman walked off to another area of the shop. Seiji nodded and observed the tomahawks and knives on display. He could hear two voices talking in a different room as Seiji waited patiently. A man walked out and looked at Seiji.

"So you are Seiji?" The man asked as Seiji bowed low.

"I am, do I have the honor of speaking with Master Daniel Winkler?" Seiji asked as Daniel nodded.

"I am, though I do not understand how someone so young would need my steel." Daniel said as Seiji suppressed his anger. This world was stupid, if he needed weapons, he should be able to commission them. Daniel looked at the young man in front of him, sizing him up. Seiji stood tall, and he did have the aura of a warrior. How could someone so young be so intimate with Death? Daniel looked at Seiji and motioned for him to follow. "You are not from here are you?" Daniel asked as Seiji followed and shook his head.

"I am not, where I am from we are trained to kill at a young age." Seiji answered honestly as Daniel nodded.

"I do not like it, but I understand the need young Seiji." Daniel said as he looked at Seiji. "What do you need?" he asked. Seiji blinked, he didn't know how he convinced this Master, but he was not going to question it.

"I need a custom hawk and knife for the Okichitaw fighting style." Seiji said as Daniel nodded and pulled out a pad of paper and a pencil.

"May I see your hands?" Daniel asked as Seiji offered his hands to Master Winkler and Daniel looked over them. He could see the calluses on the young man's hands, calluses that only came from war. Daniel made some notes and looked at the young man. "It will take me a week to make both, will you have payment by then?" Daniel asked as Seiji pulled out a scroll and unsealed a stack of American currency.

"Will this be enough to start a partnership between us?" Seiji asked as Daniel was shocked that this young teenager had so much money. He nodded and Seiji smiled. "I hope this is the start of a wonderful partnership." Seiji said, offering his hand to shake. Daniel shook his hand and smiled. "I will return in a week, I wish you the best Master Winkler." Seiji said as he bowed to the man and walked out of the store and walked down the path to an area where he could vanish back to France. Seiji reappeared in front of the Flamel home and greeted his parents before returning to his training. He had a lot of work to do if he was to compete in this Melee.
