One sunny afternoon, Charlie Swann arrived at the Black Mansion with his usual grin, carrying a small treat for Teddy. As soon as Teddy saw him, he ran over, eager to see what surprise Charlie had brought this time. The adults watched the familiar interaction unfold, but something was different today—Charlie seemed unusually cheerful, even for him.

Hermione, ever observant, picked up on his mood right away. "You're in a good mood today, Charlie," she said with a teasing smile as she sipped her tea.

Charlie chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck sheepishly. "Well, I've got some good news, actually," he said, unable to hide his excitement.

"Oh? What's going on?" Harry asked, joining them in the living room after hearing the conversation.

Charlie grinned, his eyes lighting up. "My daughter is coming to live with me."

For a moment, there was silence as everyone processed what he had just said. Harry and Hermione exchanged confused glances, while Leah raised an eyebrow from her spot on the couch.

"Wait... what?" Hermione asked, clearly surprised. "You have a daughter?"

Charlie's smile widened, and he nodded. "Yeah, I do. Her name's Isabella. She's seventeen years old."

Hermione blinked in shock. "Charlie, how—when—how did we not know you were married, let alone had a daughter?"

Charlie shrugged casually, though there was a fondness in his eyes when he spoke about his daughter. "It's not something I've talked about much. Her mum and I split up years ago—amicably. Bella's been living with her mum, but now she's coming to stay with me for a while."

Harry couldn't hide his surprise. "That's... wow, mate. Congratulations! How come you never mentioned her before?"

Charlie rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "I guess I just kept it private. It was never the right time to bring it up, and with all the stuff that's been going on over the years, it just didn't come up. But yeah, Bella is coming to stay with me for a while, and I'm really looking forward to it."

Hermione was still processing the revelation. "So... you're going to be a full-time dad?"

Teddy, who had been listening intently with wide eyes, piped up, "Does that mean I'll get to play with her?"

Charlie chuckled and ruffled Teddy's hair. "Absolutely, mate. I think you two will get along great."

Hermione's shock gave way to a warm smile. "Charlie, that's wonderful. I'm sure you'll be a fantastic dad."

Harry nodded in agreement. "Yeah, mate. If she's anything like you, she's going to fit right in around here."

Charlie looked genuinely touched by their words. "Thanks. I'll admit, I'm a bit nervous. It's a big change, but I'm excited."

As the news settled in, the Black Mansion's lively atmosphere seemed to brighten even more. The idea of having a new addition to their extended family—someone who was a part of Charlie's life—felt right. Bella's arrival was sure to bring new energy to the household, and everyone was eager to meet her.

Teddy was already bouncing with excitement, asking a million questions about Bella—what she liked, what kind of treats she enjoyed, and whether she liked cakes as much as Charlie did. The day had taken an unexpected turn, but it was a happy one, and soon the conversation shifted to plans for Bella's arrival.

Charlie, for the first time in a while, felt a sense of completeness. His daughter was coming, and he couldn't wait to introduce her to the magical world he loved so much—and to the people he now considered his family.

The next time Charlie arrived at the Black Mansion, it wasn't in his usual police cruiser, much to Teddy's disappointment. Instead, the familiar sound of tires crunching on gravel came from an old, rusted red truck pulling up the driveway. Teddy, who had gotten used to Charlie's police cars, frowned as he looked out the window.

"Where's the cool police car?" Teddy asked, his face scrunched up in confusion.

Harry and Hermione joined him at the window, also noticing the unfamiliar vehicle. Hermione was the first to ask when Charlie stepped out of the truck. "What's with the old truck, Charlie? I'm used to seeing you in a police car."

Charlie grinned as he patted the side of the old truck. "Yeah, I figured Teddy might be a little disappointed, but this beauty has a special purpose. It actually used to belong to Billy Black. I bought it from him as a gift for my daughter, Isabella. Thought I'd take it for a spin, make sure it's in good condition before she gets her hands on it."

Teddy, still unimpressed, crossed his arms. "A truck? But the police car is way cooler! I want to ride in a police car one day."

Charlie laughed and knelt down to Teddy's level. "I get it, buddy. Police cars are pretty cool, but let me tell you something—this truck? It's got a lot of history. It's been through all sorts of adventures, and now, Isabella's going to make some new ones in it. Trust me, you'll think it's cool when you see her driving it."

Teddy huffed, not quite convinced, but the mention of Isabella piqued his curiosity. "Is she coming soon?"

Charlie nodded, standing up. "Yeah, she'll be here in a few days. And when she gets here, I bet she'll take you for a ride in the truck. Maybe even let you honk the horn."

At that, Teddy's eyes lit up just a little. "Really?"

Hermione smiled at Charlie, leaning against the doorframe. "So, Isabella's going to be driving this old thing around Forks?"

Charlie shrugged. "For now, yeah. She's not really into flashy stuff. She's more of a simple girl, prefers things with a bit of character, like this truck. Plus, it's got that sentimental value, coming from Billy."

Harry raised an eyebrow, glancing at the truck again. "Well, it definitely has character. Let's hope it's reliable."

Charlie grinned, walking up the steps toward the house. "Oh, it runs just fine. Besides, I'll be the one keeping it in shape for her."

Even though Harry nodded in agreement with Charlie about the sentimental value of the old truck, he couldn't help but think about Isabella's reaction. He knew how teenagers were, especially when it came to school and appearances. Driving an old, beat-up truck wasn't exactly something most seventeen-year-olds would be excited about. As much as Charlie loved the truck's history, Harry figured Isabella might feel differently.

"Look, Charlie," Harry said after a moment of thought. "I understand the sentimental value, but no teenager wants to show up to school driving an old truck that looks like it's about to fall apart. You know how kids can be."

Charlie chuckled. "Yeah, maybe. But Isabella's not the type to care about what people think."

Harry smiled. "Maybe not, but it wouldn't hurt to spruce it up a bit, right?"

Charlie raised an eyebrow. "What are you getting at?"

"Why don't you let me help you out with it? We could take the truck in for repairs, maybe even give it a fresh coat of paint. It'll still be the same truck, just... a little nicer to drive around. You can pay me back later if you want, but I insist on helping."

Charlie frowned, clearly torn. "I don't know, Harry. I kind of like the truck as it is. It's got character."

"I get that," Harry said, nodding. "But I think Isabella will appreciate it a lot more if it's in better shape. Trust me, I'm not saying we turn it into something fancy, just fix it up a bit. She'll still have that sentimental connection, but she won't have to worry about the truck breaking down on the way to school."

Charlie hesitated for a moment, but the idea of making the truck more reliable for his daughter seemed to win him over. He let out a sigh. "Alright, fine. But I'll pay for it."

Harry wasted no time once Charlie agreed to let him work on the truck. Late that evening, while Teddy and Hermione were busy with their own activities, Harry slipped into the garage and set to work. Using his magic, he effortlessly peeled away layers of rust and old paint, revealing the truck's original framework beneath. As he worked, he couldn't help but admire the charm of the old truck. It had potential, and Harry intended to bring that out.

With a wave of his hand, the truck's exterior transformed, gleaming in a fresh, vibrant red coat that caught the light beautifully. Harry carefully polished the body, making it shine like new. The next step was the engine. He enhanced it with his magic, fine-tuning the mechanics so that it ran smoother and faster. The old rumbles and creaks that once defined the truck's engine were gone, replaced by the powerful hum of a well-oiled machine.

Inside, Harry overhauled the truck's interior, removing the worn-out seats and replacing them with plush, luxurious leather ones that made the vehicle feel comfortable yet rugged. He installed a sleek, modern steering wheel and changed the gear lever to a polished, more stylish design, giving the truck a touch of elegance while still maintaining its rustic charm. As a final touch, Harry added a state-of-the-art sound system, complete with an old-school radio aesthetic to match the vintage feel, but with the technology to rival any modern car.

By the time Harry was finished, the truck was more than just restored—it was a masterpiece. It still held the same sentimental value and rugged appearance that Charlie loved, but with enhanced luxury and performance that would make it a joy for Isabella to drive.

As he stepped back to admire his work, Harry couldn't help but grin. The truck looked brand new, but still carried its old soul. He knew Charlie and Isabella would both appreciate it.

When Hermione peeked into the garage later that night and saw the transformed truck, she raised an eyebrow. "You really went all out, didn't you?"

Harry shrugged with a playful smile. "I figured if I was going to help, I might as well do it right. Plus, I couldn't let Isabella drive around in a half-rusted truck."

On a calm Sunday morning, Charlie Swan arrived at Black Manor to see the transformation Harry had made on the truck. He wasn't prepared for the sight that greeted him. His jaw dropped as he walked around the gleaming red truck, running his hand along the polished surface.

"Harry," Charlie said, shaking his head in disbelief, "I don't know what to say. I wasn't expecting this at all. It looks… incredible."

Harry smiled, pleased with Charlie's reaction. "I thought Isabella would appreciate something a little more special.

Charlie chuckled, still stunned as he admired the truck. "She's going to love it. Thanks, Harry. I really owe you one."

Just then, Teddy appeared, excited and tugging on Harry's sleeve. "Can I go with Charlie to pick up Isabella? Please, Dad?"

Harry glanced at Charlie, who gave a small nod. "Of course, Teddy," Harry said quietly countinued. "But remember what I told you. If anything goes wrong or you feel uncomfortable, just use the portkey I gave you, alright?"

Teddy nodded eagerly, clutching the small toy portkey that Harry had given him for emergencies. He knew how to use it, and the thought of going on a small adventure with Charlie made him even more excited.

"Don't worry, Harry," Charlie said with a reassuring smile. "I'll take good care of him. We're just going to Seattle and back."

Harry smiled and gave Teddy a hug before watching them both climb into the truck. The engine purred to life, sounding smooth and powerful after Harry's enhancements. As the truck rolled down the driveway, Teddy waved enthusiastically out the window, his face filled with excitement.

Harry stood by the door, watching the truck disappear down the road, a small smile on his face. He had a good feeling about the day, but the portkey in Teddy's pocket gave him peace of mind, just in case anything unexpected happened.

As Charlie and Teddy drove towards Seattle, the atmosphere in the truck was light and cheerful. Teddy couldn't stop talking about all the things he wanted to do with Isabella when she arrived, and Charlie couldn't help but smile at the boy's infectious energy.

"Isabella's going to like you, Teddy," Charlie said. "You're great with people. She's a little shy, but I think you'll bring her out of her shell."

Teddy grinned, bouncing in his seat. "I can't wait to meet her!"

The two continued their journey, the truck humming smoothly along the road as they made their way to pick up Isabella. Little did they know, this trip would mark the beginning of a new chapter for both families.
