CHAPTER 11
THE GONGS HAVE BEEN STRUCK
NYC/THE BAXTER BUILDING
Shadow-Spider and Horizon both land on top of the building, the son and daughter of Spider-Man, April Katherine 'Katie' Parker and Daniel Warren Parker.
As the two land, two others land alongside them, one of them, male, in height, he was a few inches taller than Horizon, he had short Jet Black Hair, but his face was covered in a black full head mask, the top of it had been cut off to let his hair out, with large white lenses, he was 5'1ft tall with above average muscle for someone his age, he was wearing a Black Spider-Man suit, with the Insignia being Red instead of White, the top arms of the spider stretched to his shoulders and down his arms, to his Red Gloves, the bottom arms did the same with his legs to form the red soles of his feet, he wore a Red Jacket over the suit and Red Sneakers
The other, a girl, she clocked at exactly 5ft tall, she had short curly Red Hair, her face was covered by a Black Blindfold, completely covering her eyes, leaving her mouth, freckled cheeks and Sandy Skin clear as day to be seen, she was wearing a Spider-Suit as well, her own suit was Red with a Large White Symbol, the lower arms dragging down to join her white belt line, the arms of her suit were patterned into White Arm Gloves, as well as the legs into White Thigh Highs with Red Sneakers too. Her figure was slightly developed, not as much as the woman in front of her, but okay for a girl that looked to be in her early teens.
As the four snuck unto the top of the Baxter Building, one of the main security drones passed them by, while the other three rushed to take cover, with the two newer spiders both turning Invisible, Shadow-Spider just stood perfectly still as the drone scanned right passed her, before doing a second sweep of the area, the girl cheeks out her nails as it does so and once more, completely passes by her. Before moving on to a different area.
Horizon was the first to come out, dissolving the Illusion of an AC Valve he had conjured up, walking and looking up to his big sister 'I will never stop being amazed by the way camera just pass you like that' he engaged a telepathic conversation
'Like' the Arachnid Girl chants 'I don't know how you do that, but I so want it!' she basically screamed in their heads, covering their ears all of them as she mentally yelled
The boy puts his hands on his hips as he looks at the Blindfolded girl with a raised brow hidden behind the mask 'Man you can really scream, just wish you didn't do it both outside and inside my head, ow!'
Shadow-Spider folds her arms at her siblings 'Guys, focus, we're here for a reason and let's get it over with, Grace stop screaming in our heads, this is a stealth mission, Zayn, stop imagining graffiti-ng the place, but I do like the family portrait and would very much like them on our wall'
But the groups psychic conversation is suddenly cut short as first Grace would go silent, before throwing a massive backflip away from the area they were standing, all of them turn to stare at her, before their Spider-Senses would blare and all of them would evacuate that area, and for good reason, because as soon as they do, a blast of fire comes down from the sky, bathing that entire area in flames, the quads face up to see the Infamous Human Torch aka Johnny 'I Fucked Your Bitch' Storm, he descends from the sky with his flames still active.
"Alright kiddies, who are you and why y'alls dressed like my best friend's fan club?" Johnny questioned everybody as he began generating more flames.
THE ISLAND NATION OF KROKOA
The Quiet Council were engaged in another one of their many debates for the future of mutant kind, and looking at the subject before them, it was very plausible that as a race they mayn't have a future, as before them, shackled in Krokoan Vines to dawas the so called Sydney Munroe or as she had chosen to call herself 'Yesudi' which in Hebrew means 'The Elemental' and judging her ability of Elemental Manipulation, the name fits. But she has also claimed to be of ancestry to Ororo Munroe; Storm herself, who looks upon the mute girl in confusion as she calls herself her granddaughter and even has a Superior Version of her own power to do so.
Elemental stood there, staring down at the giant X in the middle of the room, with the council seated around her, watching the girl's every move, or lack thereof. As Charles calls out to her Psychically, the girl remains unfazed, he calls to her once more, and she does not move
"Awaken Impure!" Exodus yells and as if this brings her to life, the girl raises her head and the Hybrid descendant looks at herself, wrapped from head to toe in Krokoan vines to bind her powers, but not knowing as what else they could do for security, they had also placed a collar on her neck, she looks up at the council, before opening her mouth, but she is gagged with a piece of metal by Magneto, a scowl forms on her face as she glares at the master of magnetism, but her eyes face to a different direction, and she sees her, her grandmother, the Tyrant of Sunstone.
"Miss Sydney, is it?" Charles says aloud, turning her attention, glaring at him with the Cerebro helmet perched on his head, given him the psychic power he could only dream of possessing, "Yes, Miss Sydeny, or do you prefer Elemental or Miss Munroe"
SPIT!
She spat at the mention of that name "I SPIT ON THAT NAME!" she yelled out in a different voice as to the one she used before "Call me Elemental or Sydney, and that is all" now a male voice
"If she wishes, now, your kind, you say you are the Evolutionary Superior to the Mutant race, how is that so when Mutants are the Apex of Human Evolution" Magneto questions first, a rapid curiosity to his voice. Sydney refrained from answering his question but then she was asked another question, by Emma Frost
"Okay Darling, let me ask you this, what Is it that you want?" Emma's voice was behind her
She opened her mouth to speak but her question was cut off by The Black King "Huh the girl obviously doesn't have wants, look at her demeanor, the way she just sat back and allowed for the Fire Demon to hawk down her own Grandmother, all 'It' wants is merely what the fire one wants"
"Sebastian, please refrain from calling her and It, as she says, her name is Sydney and we shall at least use her name" said Storm. Sydney however, still refused to speak, she was obviously going to answer questions which one she felt like. "The 'Fire Demon' her name is Sophia Markov Vulcan, despite her ancestor's exile from Both Krokoa and Arrako, the mightiest son of Summers, found a home for the abandoned of the Universe, somewhere he could be what he always wanted to be, a kind, a Leader"
All of the council members were shocked by this, one is that Vulcan not only escapes from the prison they have him in on Arrako, but that also, he still created an Empire for himself
"It wasn't perfect at first, with the world he settled on being one of ruin, but Omega Level Energy Manipulation, has more uses than even he gave it credit for" her voice said this all in a myriad of voices. As she speaks she opens her mind to them, and Emma and Charles together create a Psychic Image around the entire group and it completely shocks them at what they see.
A City, a massive Metro politic City Structure, 'Sunstone' that was the name it was given, founded in the name of Gabriel Vulcan, created to act as a home for people without a home, a restart where your past is simply that, past, a few laws were passed down, such as Murder of Citizens is completely Exiled, as well as Vengeance, this was a place that was created solely to be a home for anyone, of any culture except for the Mutants of Krokoa and Arrako as well as no representatives of the Intergalactic Council. Vulcan had created his own Utopia, manipulating all forms of Energy in order to give this world life, and life in excess. And even in his passing, the great Emperor left us with one final act of protection, he gifted us with the Atlas Flame.
At the top of a massive Alter like structure, laid a Giant Golden Flame like that of a Star. The flame was a gift to his Descendants, as a way to further protect the people, the legend had it, that the fire carried the Power of its previous wielders, and gifted that to the next, as was the power they would inherit, taking it to the next to further protect their Kingdom.
And that fire had been passed down, a sacred tradition that would have been continuously passed, if 'She' hadn't arrived, The False Goddess of the Elements, claiming that under her rule, was the only way that the Multiverse could prosper, and when Sunstone said no, thus, 200yrs of prosperity was brought to an unprovoked war with House Munroe and Sydney's parents, destroying the home of her best friend and her people and making sure to permanently do damage to the Atlas Flame, The Legacy of Sunstone, nearly brought to an end by the woman who stole Hybrid Blood in order to Steal their Strength and. Sydney continues to give her explanation and exposition about what Storm becomes in the future, about all the horror she goes on to commit solely off reasons even she doesn't know and that is what truly scares her, this is the future that the Hybrids originated and it is one that they don't even know when begins.
But meanwhile with all of this, Across the Island, Kaine Maximoff, an estranged descendant of the Scarlet Witch herself, and Class Z Hybrid, was enjoying himself a set of drinks on the standard Tiki Bar, Northstar sat next to him, the X-Force Member ordered a drink for him as well
"Oh no, I don't need another one of those. Still not done with this one" Kaine announced to the Mutant. But Northstar didn't care, simply ordering him a second one for when he was done with the first one, and thus, the two were now sitting next to each other and without even needing to read his mind, he could guess why the X-Forcer was here and why he brought along with him, Wolverine, Magik, Psylocke, Captain Britain and the Younger Cable, so with a sigh and hanging of his head "Hey, I'mma need three more of these, to go!"
Later on, Kaine was in the X-Force base, still with his second drink, not even sure what he was drinking at the moment, but it was green and he liked green stuff, So logic. As the Chaos Hybrid entered the facility, he was shocked by what he had found, Track, Sophia Vulcan, vines chaining her down to an operating table, while her technical aunt, Rachael Summers, had her hands placed on her head, the Cuckoo Sisters surrounding her, feeding Rachael their telepathic power along with Synch, Psylocke, Kid Omega and Captain Britain, all of whom were trying to enter into the mind of Track.
Keyword in the matter was, Trying.
No matter how many of them they bring together, how many Mutant Circuits formed, which methods used to bypass this, the Psychic Defense placed in her mind was practically impenetrable. They had a Host of the Phoenix and an Omega Level Mutant and these shields were basically barely even chipped.
Rachael eventually stood up and blasted at the wall with a beam of fire, but her fire beam converted from its intended target and towards Kaine, everyone faces towards him and sees his hand reaches out, an aura of green energy drawing the Cosmic Power towards him as he absorbs and effortlessly contains the power, before putting his hand back in his jacket pocket
"Having troubles?" Kaine asked nonchalantly, but Rachel still stared at him confused, but then she remembered that they had the Scarlet Witch's grandson or something here, great, like one wasn't bad enough
"I heard that, but hey, maybe I'll go with my Class Z Power and leave you to try and bypass someone with mental shielding from someone with more power behind him that a Thousand Phoenix Forces"
Kaine turned around and was about to leave, when his statement caught everybody's attention, what did he mean by someone with power beyond a Thousand Phoenix Forces, so Rachael creates a Psionic Brick wall between him and the exit "Wait, what did you mean by that?" Kaine smirked, turning around by his heel
"Yes Fire Bird-ling" he says with a toothy grin and his hands placed together. Rachael scoffed at the terrible nickname, but he still walked towards the ground, and as soon as his feet reach the bottom of the stares, the second, all of them feel it, she sheer weight of the Chaos Power behind him, it was enough to bring fear into their hearts as none of them had ever felt strength like this before and they had encountered both the Phoenix Force and Mutant Messiah, both of which were like coughing babies to the power in front of them, but then, that dominating power simply went away when he reached them.
Crouching down to stare Rachael dead in the eye, his Jade Crown glistening on her head, Rachael's glare was dead focused on his, red fire emerging from her eyes, while he stared completely unfazed by her attempts at intimidation and with a slight chuckle, he reaches his hands out to the sleeping Golden Wrath, the Jade Crown activated, a bright glow from the crown and the woman started groaning and turning while in her sleep
"Sorry Sophia" Kaine said to her "But I can't let you do this" he gets to work and looking into his mind, Rachael tries to find out anything about him, but just like the woman beneath them, she couldn't get into his mind, even while drawing on power from the Phoenix, he glances to her, his green eyes becoming grey as his eyes narrow.
That glare didn't go unnoticed as he finds a Massive Flaming Blue Sword placed right at his neck, his eyes glanced back to the blonde Russian mutant that was holding it, his face still unchanged from tis act as he says "Any reason you're holding a Soul Sword to my neck, DarkChylde" his voice was Eerily calm, there were several powerful telepathic mutants around him, a Phoenix Host and a Limbo Sorceress, and he wasn't at all phased by any of it
"Of course I'm not afraid" he continues what he was doing "Fire wall one down" he then glances at the fourth most powerful being in the room "I'd need an actual threat in order to feel threatened" everyone in the room stood silent at that comment, he just said Illyana was not a joke and both her and Rachael took that as an offense. "What, you think that meant, suggesting that I'm no threat to you" and as she says that, he laughs "Actually, I wasn't suggesting"
And then the room grew silent once more, everyone went wide eyed, a cocky grin forms on his face, but then that grin dies when he hears something from Kid Omega "Care to repeat that?! Child Beta!" that gets a snort out of some of the people in the room, including Synch, Kaine looks back at him with a smile, when he looks back at Quintin, he had a Psychic Long Neck Revolver pointed at his neck
"Its Kid Omega, and I said, watch what you say to my friends"
Kaine arched an eyebrow "You have friends?" and this sets Quintin off as he shoots… at nothing? Looking around, everybody started looking around for the Hybrid whom had just vanished from their lines of sight, as well as the mind and astral planes all at once, then the sound of slurping coming from the bed, all of them turn to it and nothing was there, until Quintin blinks and Kaine was back there, continuing to work of the Psychic Barriers in Track's head.
"Hey Rachael, while I'm doing this, aren't you a bit, I don't know, mournful, or feeling some kind of way?" he asks, brushing aside his earlier comment to Illyana, when the demon esk Mutant was about to attack him once more, Rachael then stops her, placing a hand in front of her
"How so?"
"I mean, you and she are by every definition of the world, Family, if you were born in this timeline or Earth, she would be your direct first cousin once removed or something I don't know, I don't really have a real family or anybody in my time"
That stops the entire group, this boy in front of them, what was he, really, he just talked about not having a family, so they stop to hear him out, Irma Cuckoo was the first person to speak up
"What happened to them? Did you ever know them?"
He doesn't even turn to look at them as he just nonchalantly retorts "I Don't really know, what happened to me family, I lived at a shitty orphanage with even shittier attendants, I was never good at cleaning, but I make amazing Pancakes and Anything that has to do with Meat. But one day, my power manifested, the 'Observants' called it a Curse, a blasphemous Power and labeled me a Demonic Child, all because I could control Magic"
This perks up Illyana "What kind of Magic?" she asks, he reaches one hand out and behind Illyana, creates a Massive Portal, and through that Portal, was Limbo, he then creates other gates around everyone, and each one lead to a different dimension or plane of existence.
The Witches Road, Limbo, The Dark Dimension, Lore's Hell, The Sixth Dimension, The Purple Dimension, TunnelWorld, The Thirteenth Dimension, The Fifth Cosmos, The Winding Roads, The White Hot Room, Otherworld, and even to The Megaverse. With more portals to realms known and unknown, even Realms outside the Omniverse.
And with a simple snap of his fingers, he closes all of them, "They called it 'Mystokinesis' or Magic Manipulation, any and all forms of magic, at my beck and call, this also let me learn spells insanely fast, down side though was there weren't any known Sorcerers at my time" they all stare at the boy with the power of a god, because thinking about it, he exhibits power equal to what some of them would compare to Jean's level of power and he's also able to use and learn whatever magic he wants.
"So what does a kid with no magical knowledge do with magical power, you get to cooking up whatever you can, I.e." he points his finger down to the crown "The Emerald Crowns, something I came up with, the way they work is that they basically cut down the power of the person forced to wear them"
That was terrifying ability "And it will cut you down in terms of power and if you attempt to go beyond whatever restriction has been placed, well Yesterday's perform of her trying to fight back says it all. If I were to place her power somewhere, it would be, equal to that of about, a Class SS so still the most powerful non cosmic being"
"So she a god, cool" Cable calls her to which Kaine gives him a death glare, his eye burning green with Chaos
"There are no gods!" he nearly growled out and as he says this, a twinge of Orange and Black Flames escapes from Track's body.
BAXTER BUILDING
But as that goes on, the fantastic four are dealing with their own Hybrid Crisis, as by what Ben could see, three Spiders, imitating his best buddy are landing on top of their building and so, Ben Grimm, the Thing pushed his fists together and said "Alright Spider Wannabes, who is yah?!"
To which Horizon was the first to light up a force of psionic energy, and immediately, Reed and Valeria's scanner starts to go off radically, Reed stretched his arm to grab the scanner, and immediately his mind began to race at the impossible speeds "Woah, look at these readings on the small one"
Sue, with her hands out with her barriers on them, she looked to her husband "Reed, what's up with" but she suddenly stopped, as her shields went down, and she couldn't feel her powers at all "W-what?" she looked back at the youngest of the ground, Horizon's left eye glowed a bit as he winked at her, Blood-Spider looked at his little brother "Daniel, dude, like chill"
Human Torch rushed to his sister, "Sue! You okay!" she was staring at her hands clenched tight, grunting and trying to muster up anything, wondering what had just happened
"This doesn't make any sense, I can't… feel my power or anything"
Blood-Spider then speaks up "That's something you taught me Aunty Sue, stopping the neural pathways of your frontal lobe, neat trick, too!" The Fantastic Four then looked on at the group, Johnny Storm growled at the kids, but then what he called her, "Wa wait, Aunty Sue, what the hell does that mean?"
Bone-Spider, the spider-girl in a blindfold walked up to him first, her hands raised, Ben Grimm spoke up "Don't let your guard down flame brain, we don't know what these Hybrids can do?" but Johnny was all struck, stopped completely by the 14yr old girl, he continued to stare at her as his flames snuffed out, she placed her hand on his shoulder "It's okay" she smiled to him, "Everything… is okay" she says in a calm yet warming voice to which Johnny repeats her words "Everything… is okay"
Bone-Spider looked up at the remaining members of the first family as Johnny dropped down to his hands, gasping for air "What the hell was that?!" he shouted in confusion "I could feel you, not in my head but in everything, I couldn't… think straight!"
But the young Spider girl still attempts to be a mediator of the group, clasping her hands together and smiling, Sue looked at the girl, "There's nothing to worry about, we just came to talk" despite the blindfold blocking her eyes, Sue could tell that she was wasn't lying to them
"We just want to talk" Shadow-Spider said out
Reed continued to stare at the scanner in front of him, his hand on his chin, humming and mumbling something to himself as the children were invited into the home of the Fantastic Four. Stepping into the most advanced building in the city, staring up at the magnificent structures, Shadow-Spider removed her mask, showing her face to the family and Blood-Spider did the same, and the first to note his appearance was Sue, shocked by how he looked
"Woah!" Said Sue with shock
She could see his short Jet-Black hair through the mask having a cut top, but now seeing his face, his eyes were brown as well as his face being am exact copy of Peter when he was younger, a truly uncanny resemblance, H.E.R.B.I.E arrives to the group as the children further entered but as soon as Horizon passed through those gates, every alarm in the entire building went off, putting everything in lockdown as multiple defenses point at them, and all of it was the highest threat level. All of the fantastic four were in panic as this had never happened before when they bring new people here, and everything was pointed directly at Horizon, his eyes glanced at Reed with wide brows "I don't wanna break your stuff Mr. Richards, but get these things out of my face before I destroy everything" he states, psychically holding everything at once before, and again, Reed was simply checking the scanner as Sue turned off the defenses, as the building left the deadlock state, the entire group was escorted to the main living area
"Score!" the Spider-Twins said at the same time as they rushed to the coach, Blood-Spider jumped and while Bone-Spider immediately stopped, the boy hit his head on an Invisible Barrier, he raises his head and looks back at Sue who had a devious smirk on her face, Bone-Spider held back a chuckle with her hand, looking back at the Invisible Woman, lifting up her hand for a fist bump, Sue bumps her back and the boy is left on the shield, before simply crawling off the shield and unto the couch, relaxing immediately "Man, this place is amazing"
Horizon looked over to Reed, who since the roof hadn't stopped scanning him, it had begun to creep the boy out, especially with the way his neck and body stretched out like that, he levitated off the ground and towards the kitchen "Do you guys have soda?" but as the boy lifted himself off the ground, Franklin Richards and Valerian Richards come running into the living room, with Franklin sweating profusely
"Mom Dad, somethings~" he glances back and sees the blonde kid holding his bottle of soda and asks "Who's the kid?" he sees the others, Shadow-Spider talking to Johnny, Bone-Spider was talking to Sue and Blood-Spider simply taking a bucket of mints from the glass table, each of them was wearing their Uncle Peter's insignia on their chests and the boy according to Valeria, had a very distinct resemblance to him.
So Valeria asks first "Who are these people Father?" with her other brother adding in "And why does that one feel like he can fist fight the Enigma Force and the Phoenix Force"
Horizon then speaks up "Ugh! Can we stay the night and explain everything in the morning" he yawns "I really need a nap and this seemed like a good place"? he looks around before snapping his fingers, creating a hammock of Psionic Energy and laying on it, fast asleep.
By the time Sue can face to her children, all the spiders were sleeping, Reed and Susan went as well. But inside the bedroom of the married couple, Reed was still going over the results of his quick scan on Horizon, this is extraordinary, he had a look like that on his face, so much so that it prevented Susan from getting any sleep.
"Reed, what's wrong?" she asked
And Reed answered with a simple "I don't know Susan, for the first time in my life, I don't know what we've brought into our home, but that boy might be… he's something else"
But as the family of four sleep on various and a Psionic Hammock coaches instead of beds, Horizon and Shadow-Spider both spring awake at the same time, the eldest and youngest facing one another before in unison they said "Sophia" His eyes glow purple
THE HEALING GARDENS
Kaine was still working his magic on Sophia, the granddaughter of Mars laid flat on one of the grass beds that the island provided, when he felt something or more of, someone approaching him, a presence he would never forget and as he turned his head around, there she was, Ororo Munroe, Storm, his left eye burned with Chaos but he turned back to his work, with her though was Erik Magnus, without even facing either of them he asked "Can I help you?" to which Storm
Storm looked down at the woman being operated on and then asks "Is it true?" he side eyes her and he can tell what she's asking about and without a second thought, he answers her with a straightforward "Yes" before going back to his work, but he then looks at Magneto who says "I disapprove of that answer"
"And I disapprove of your disapproving old man"
Magneto smirks at the young lad, he could actually see it, before looking down at the woman below them "And about her, she truly descends from the Summers?" the master of magnetism asked and he nodded to him, "Yeah, that's a funny thing about my species, it follows the same trend as yours, as Mutants descend from Humans, Hybrids descend from Mutants and Inhumans and so much more" he looks at his hand, sparks of green chaos energy danced around his fingers, before he slowly closed his hand and let the power subside, as his other hand continued pouring Chaos energy into the mind of Summers
"You know she's not wrong about you?" he says focusing on Storm and the woman looks to him "You do become a Monster, The Queen of the Death Storm" he calls her, she looks on disgusted at him, no not disgusted, enraged "I am not, a monster" he rolls his eyes at her trying to defend herself it was cute
"Think for yourself, but…" he suddenly stopped, and Across Krokoa, everyone with the ability too could sense it, the atmosphere around them had become very heavy in that instant, every mutant felt it, but only the Psychics could truly feel what was happening. Phoenix, Askani, Captain Britain, Cable, Quintin Quire, Emma Frost, Legion, The Stepford Cuckoos, Karma, Armor, Apocalypse, Storm, and many more, all of the at once, felt something was heavily wrong.
Professor X, Destiny, Mister Sinister, Apocalypse, Hope Summers, Wanda and Exodus all felt this at the same time, as the leader of the Mutant Nation stopped to hold onto his head, all of them were nearly brought down as whatever this was caused Psychic Quakes throughout not just the Astral Plane, that every Psychic or even Magically Intoned being was able to sense.
Doctor Strange, Doctor Doom, Doctor Voodoo, Dormammu of the Dark Dimension, Magik, Queen of Limbo, Madalyn Pryor, The Goblin Queen as well was shaking at this power from an entirely different realm, she had once wielded the power of the Phoenix, Creation and Power Incarnate and the power she feels now, was a power she could not even begin to comprehend and it was headed right for Krokoa.
Eternity and The Never Queen looked on in horror at the power they were feeling, a level of Maleficence that could not be matched, and all of that Psychic Fury was aimed right for both of their champions and the Phoenix. Eternity cursed himself that a being such as this was able to exist within his Omniverse and that it was able to perfectly mask its power from him so effortlessly. The Never Queen held her love "It is now for them to face my love"
Back in the healing gardens, Kaine put more power into what he was doing, the strain on him becoming more and more pronounced "S-She's waking up, that shouldn't be possible?" Kaine activated the crown as Sophia began to groan and struggling "No wait!" her fist clenched tight, a gulf of Black and White Fire burning on her fist, as he is pushed back into Wanda and Magneto.
Looking back up, Track raises her upper body to the air, Black Flames leaking from her body, as she begins to rise into the air "The New Horizon, The Harbinger of Light, The Fallen Heretic, Havoc Personified and True Hell, the 5 in 1 reaches and brings forth Power Unbridled"
Wanda looks at her grandson "What happened?" Kaine looks at her in a look of fright, holding his aching hand, rolling up his sleeve, as the skin of his arm begins to scald and dry out, his screams of pain growing. Across Krokoa, Storm suddenly falls to the ground, holding her right arm, tearing off her arm glove as the matching begins to happen to her, a scald grows in the form of finger arms, in the exact place that Track had grabbed and burned her arm in their fight. As well as Sydney, as her neck scar glows black, and she cries out in pain with dozens of different voices, blood rushing out of her mouth as she does so, breaking out of the Krokoan vines, dropping to her knees, blood gushing from her mouth.
Sophia hovers in the air, Wanda and Magneto attack her together as her back was turned to them, but as they do so, the Chaos Bolt and Shards of Metal are both completely engulfed in black flames and are no more, surprising Wanda that her power was more than simply dispelled, but completely erased in its entirety. Kaine grabs both of them by the collar and immediately burst out of the Healing Garden, as a massive pillar of Black Fire rises out of it, destroying whom else was in that vicinity with that section of Krokoa.
The Pillar was visible from all areas of the Mutant Nation, as everybody gave witness to the Mainstay Of Blackness.
Kaine dropped down, more of crashes into the center of the Island, where The Five resurrect the dead, Charles felt the minds of a dozen mutants suddenly snuffed out from Cerebro, "The minds, why can't I feel their minds?" Charles takes the helmet and looks at it, "What has happened to them?" Kaine pushes himself up, as Magneto and The Scarlet Witch do the same, Hope rushed to the two "What happened?" before looking at Kaine
"What did you do?" she gets in his face, grabbing him by the collar, picking him up and putting him against a wall, she cocks her fist back, harnessing the power of the Phoenix into her punch, "You said you could hold her!" Kaine looks at her, his eyes narrow "Okay one; I could hold her" he said as he behind to inhale the Phoenix Fire right off her hand and into his mouth then exhaling smoke "What I couldn't do, was stop Horizon, he must've- sensed that I was in her head and woken her up"
Scarlet Witch looks at her grandson and asks him "Who's Horizon?" Kaine picks up Hope by the back of her collar, her eyes go wide as he does so, walking back and carefully putting her back down as he walks towards her "Horizon, the 5 in 1, they, are 5 Class Z Hybrids, fused into a Singular Beyond Comprehension, even by our standards, Hell, Havoc, Heretic, Harbinger and their leader, Horizon, each one Beyond Conceptual in their Psionic Might"
Looking back on the Pillar of Heatless Hatred, the fire then disappeared into a small dark spot in the sky, it descending down to the massive crater that was once the Healing Gardens, every mutant within eye sight all saw the same thing, "What is that?" a boy said in fear.
Magneto barked at his Great Grandson to take them back to the fight, Kaine looked at him "Oh thanks Kaine, you did just save us from absolute Destruction or anything" Magnus grabs the boy by the collar of his shirt, pulling him in
"You were the one who brought that Demon to our paradise. Why, why does everyone want to destroy what we have, first the Humans, then you come in from wherever it is you come from and threaten one of our own" Wanda reaches out to her father "Father, stop" but he doesn't listen "You and your kind, all of you Abominations"
Kaine stopped, Wanda and Hope stopped, and Magneto stopped when he realized, he had let his anger out on the wrong person, but what had been said had been said, and there was no taking it back, as the boy closed his eyes, then opening them in a narrow "Is that really how you see me, just another Hybrid Abomination" he said low, but sternly, "And if I wasn't a pacifist, I would kill you right here and now, or destroy your X-Gene"
That caught everyone's attention, the boy let out a cold smile "Yeah I can do that, as simply as your daughter, my great grandmother did all those years ago, and difference being that I will do it as many times as I have to make sure you guys are all extinct" the look of fury in his eyes showed as his Chaos Power burned red, the Sclera of his eyes turning Pitch Black, His Headband growing two massive horns and his hair becoming Green Fire, from his back, sprout a pair of Green Flaming Bat Wings, similar to that of an Demon and seeing this, Wanda immediately knew what she was looking at, because this power he was using
(Kaine) [LIVING DARKHOLD] was the exact same as her own, Kaine grabbed Wanda's father by the neck, glaring up at the Mutant without raising his head up to meet him, already having completely disabled his powers, he held the man and yes, that was all he was, just a weak, wretched, Worm, "Kaine Stop!" Wanda shouted and he turned to face her.
"Darcy told me" she said to him and his eyes widen "She told me, you were from Sunstone, the same as that girl, and she told me about what you say Storm becomes and what she does, two children, who were both stripped from their homes, and their home stripped from them"
As he hears this, one of his eyes reverts to normal, and his crown fire snuffs out, Wanda's eyes widened "She told me about the two of you, a boy with no family and a girl who watched her family be slaughtered right in front of her, one holds a hatred that threatens to consume all, and a boy that wants for none to be lost"
"You're both just kids, with so much Power and were still unable to use it when it mattered most" he drops Magneto, reverting completely to his base form, clenching his fist
"We… we were supposed to protect them, we were supposed to join the Vanguard, it was the first place that a street rat like me could matter and for her, being a possible Empress didn't matter, we could protect and serve our people" Everyone stared at him "But we failed, we wanted to save people, but we couldn't even save one person"
Everyone looked at the Hybrid, everyone going silent as they examine the way they've being seeing Hybrids as abominations to everything Mutants are, but was that view truly so perfect, as they were having this epiphany, a drop of rainwater falls on his nose 'Huh?' followed by a massive bolt of Lightning strikes down on him directly.
From Across the Island, Track had remained in her singular spot, legs crossed as the Onyx Flame burned around her, leaving that area of Krokoa a desolate wasteland in her wake, a smile forms across her face as a voice appears to her
"It is just as I promised you" a ghostly voice, albeit male, echoed through her brain "And you will do as I say"
She opens her eyes, the Sclera having become completely Black with her eyes turning Green with a circular ring and four lines intersecting, she hovered off the ground "No" the voice commanded "Don't bother, you've already made your Arena, and she can't let you simply burn her world, but we all know she doesn't care for the little humans, gods like them have no business in lowly mortals, only in their paradise"
The flash of lighting and the sound of thunder rang through the island, looking to where it had come from, The Demon of the Flame glared up at the sky with an intensity as if she were trying to burn, but with her abilities, burning it would not be as insane as it sounded, a black flame overtook a cloud, completely destroying it. Her feet hovered off the ground, setting them in crosses, the flame over taking the body within, creating a sphere of pure Wrath and Hatred.
MEANWHILE IN THE BAXTER BUILDING
The Avengers were called in by the Fantastic Four to see what had basically knocked on their doorsteps, and since the X-Men didn't really like having the Avengers around their island paradise, they had come to see what Reed had found this time. The team entered the living room, to find a blonde boy that wasn't Franklin Richards floating in the air, upside down, with purple energy pulsating out of his body, he sat in a cross position. Reed was scanning the boy over and over again, continuously making notes as he did so, his body stretched all over the make these calculations, while to the left, there was a Red Headed girl in a Blind Fold, wearing one of Valeria's old shirts, sitting down on a Black Haired Boy doing one finger pushups, the girl faced towards the Avengers, smiling and waving at the team.
"Hi!" she says and the other one looks up and waves as well, before continuing what he was doing
Falcon, Vision and Iron-Man all turned back to Reed "Uh Reed?" Tony questions
"Sue handle that, this is too important" Sue rolls her eyes at this
"Don't inflate their ego Uncle Reed, they already have a big enough one already" Blood Spider said to the Dr. to which Horizon turns his head to his brother, a smirk on his hand, that his brother reciprocated.
As the Avengers stared on at the group of children, Iron-Man was the first to ask the question "Reed, can we speak in private" a motion of Tony's hand and Reed nodded to him "Of course Tony"
The two geniuses stepped out of the room and inside a secret meeting place inside the Baxter Building, a multi-dimensional space outside of time itself where they could converse, one of Reed's many inventions, this one was made to protect secrets.
INSIDE THE SECRET POCKET DIMENSION
"So I can see you've encountered this Hybrid mess as well, huh?" Tony mentioned
Reed folds his arms "Yes and they are every bit of power they said they were on that Bridge, and they are truly from the Future" Reed adds "But you need to imagine the science behind them, especially that boy in there"
"We need to contact Xavier, Mutations and Evolutions are his thing"
Tony, Reed then got in contact with Charles, with a special link into his Cerebro Helmet that allowed him to connect to this space
"What is it you two, I do not have time for your rambling right now!" he shouts at them, but the two members of the Illuminati calmed the mutant down, and spoke freely to him
"Hey look, we heard about your Hybrid problem, and we might have a possible solution" Reed announced
Xavier stopped to look at them "What is it?"
"Stretch over here has one of the Hybrids from the Bridge attack, as well as three others, and we were thinking we could pin them against each other if we could control them" Tony adds
"A feat that I don't even require to build anything to do, these children claim to be family of mine, as well as the now powerless Peter's children, it would seem that the serum we made to neutralize him didn't have the effect of taking away the power from his offspring and with them somehow being Hybrids, that makes them far more dangerous that he himself ever was"
As the three spoke to one another
OUTSIDE THE POCKET DIMENSION
Horizon, having his eyes closed, was made fully aware of the happenings inside that little pocket dimension, a laugh escaping his lips as a voice spoke within his mind
[Do they think we can't see and hear them. whoa they do, they think they're safe from us, well why don't we rain on their parade a bit] Said a strange male voice [Okay! Let's Go!]
[You shall do no such thing, Hell!] a second voice shouted [Not until we know more of what it is they are talking about and whether or not it is even worth our time, until then you shall do nothing]
A Third voice chimed in [Come on Havik, don't get your furry butt and tail in a twist, let, Hell have his fun, it has been a while since any of us have been in any form of Kombat and so I can understand what he's feeling right now] the third voice, female in tone
Horizon's Astral Form glared at the two geniuses through the wall and through their closed off space, despite it being telepath proof, his mind pushing through it with no difficulty,
"This fire demon has endangered the very mutants I wished to protect, and I will not have it, if you think we can control those children, then send them our way and I will see if I can take care of the one in our custod… what?"
Xavier was suddenly cut off from his meeting and the two geniuses rushed back to the Living Room, where everybody was gone
"Where did they…?"
Reed's scanner goes off once more, and these power readings were completely
KROKOA
He looked up to see Scott "Professor, she moved" he says to him and as quickly as he can, he scans the Island for her sealed mind, and she had indeed from the Healing Garden now the Burning Ruins, as she hovered over the coliseum, dropping down with the force of a Hulk, setting the arena square ablaze in black flames.
The Black Flames of Vulcan burned around the entire arena, yet the people that were present were not affected by it, the fire itself was no harming them, but all in the stands with a telepathic or empathic ability could all sense the same thing, coming from deep within these flames,
HATRED!
The fuel that burned all, the flames greatest power source, a force that has existed since life and emotion were brought into existence. At the Entrance to the Coliseum, a path opened in the flames, the trade mark of Fire Control shown on Arrako, and she spoke to them through the flame
"All whom reside in the place of battle, it would be your greatest pleasure to watch a battle for the ages, but if thou wish to leave, it is thy right to do so" she spoke in a commanding tone, and ever non-combatant ran away from the stadium, meaning that now, the guardians of mutantkind know where to go, Hellions and every combat able mutant knew exactly where to go.
But there was one thing they were all forgetting was even a thing about this very same woman they were about to fight against
"Don't forget what I told you about her" Kaine ordered, causing all the others to stare at him "By Hybrid standards, Sophia far exceeds the power of an Omega Level, even reigning beyond the power of a Beyond Omega Level, Beyond The Beyond if you can believe that"
"You don't seem worried?" Cyclops questioned
"Well your Grandniece is just about one of, if not the most powerful person in this Island Barring Myself, is currently angrier than the Hulk and is looking to kill a 50 something year old African or Egyptian… I don't know, Woman before she kills Literal Trillions" Kaine rambles a bit, making everybody stare at him
"Then why don't you face her?" Rasputin IV asked, now everyone was facing them "You are indeed correct about her being more powerful than us, I can feel it, but I can also feel you and her being of nearly equal power, so why do you not face that Demon yourself" she folds her arms as she questions him
He glares at her, his eyes flash green for a second "I came here because I wanted to give Peace, a Chaos damned chance" he answers "Look I will not say that I am a man of peace"
"Or a man at all" Emma psychically says to Scott
He points a hand to her with green chaos energy "I heard that. And back to what I was saying before the X-Skank interrupted me, she fights for the same thing you all fight for, She's fighting to go home! Your Goddess destroyed our home, and now she's been given a very special chance, to fix all the destruction, to save Billions of lives, all those children forced to slavery in the Zeltek Mines, dying within weeks being mined until their bodies withered, their 'Gifts' stripped from them. She and I both want our home back, but I just won't paint the Multiverse Red to do it"
His voice echoed with resounding determination, words that cut through the fogs of their hatred towards what was essentially a child of pain and hatred, given a chance to end it all and thus, as this was her fault to fix, Storm took flight after this monstrous power, built Solely from the Purest of Hatred.
IN THE ARENA
The once golden residence of mêlée now adorned a Flame blacker than the darkness it was spawned from, and in the center of this darkness, was a lone girl, barely in her twenties, but it was what she was wearing, she dressed herself in a Black and Yellow, form fitting version of Gabriel Summers uniform, she added a Jacket made from the same fire to it.
Staring at the arena from above, it was not hard to see what she symbolized, a Broken X.
But there was another thing that had caught her attention, and it was that the Island itself, was not being harmed in any way, the fires burned across the entire arena zone, yet it had remained untouched for the entirety, when she looked back to her opponent, she was simply standing there, her hand on her hips as she stared up at her with a dark grin on her face, teeth barred and fire escaping them.
Ororo descended down to meet her head on, after all, this was her mess to fix, and she would handle this, even if it killed her. Standing face to face with the most powerful being she had even come face to face with, including the Phoenix and even Eternity and she was his Herald. Cosmic Power in her hands and a child outclassed her in every category she had seen of her so far, but looking at her once more.
Track smiled, it wasn't a cold smile, an exhausted one "You came" there was no vibrant as it once was "And don't think hiding your friends will help, I can sense all of their Solar Signatures from anywhere they'd be hiding"
As the two of them face down one another, right at this very moment, the two women decide to do something they hadn't done 'Hold a Conversation'
"I didn't think you'd actually come so willingly to your immediate demise" Track said, sounding a bit like her quirky self "I mean if you want to die that badly, you should've told me"
Storm however, was cautious, she knew behind those burning eyes was the power to fell even Higher Beings than herself "I came to face the Hypocrite that dares harm my people of both Arrako and Krokoa"
Track arched a brow as she started to walk to the side "Hypocrite, okay enlighten me"
"You assaulted Arrako simply to draw me out, threatened with destruction, I answered your challenge and I fought…"
"You fought, you broke the Rules, an Agni Kia is a sacred Duel, between two warriors, a 1-v-1 and one that you desecrated, I hadn't even harmed the very Land of Arrako before the Fight Began, I had harmed no one! I put on a Demonstration, a Spectacle to draw you out, and you both Accepted the challenge and cheated, numerous times, if I wished to do harm to Arrako, it would be Ash and Rock floating in Space"
"I did no such… You can't" Now remembering the fight, Track had explained the rules and Storm herself had forgone this ritual combat, by accepting her friends' assistance in it
"I gave you everything you needed from a way to survive my attacks, a way to get a feel for my power, I literally, gave you multiple free Strikes, another Courtesy to an Opponent Weaker than yourself, or did you simply believe I wanted to brag about my strength" a Lava tear escaped her eye
Storm turned away from her "But why me, you know I am not the one responsible for your home, so why attack me?!"
"BECAUSE IF YOU AREN'T ALIVE, THEY DON'T HAVE TO DIE, MY BROTHER DOESN'T HAVE TO DIE" she lets go and cries out, her tears finally breaking free "My Older Brother, Dante, he… you, you sent your sons, Sydney's Dad, I… I saw him as family, I saw you as a Granny, Sydney was/ IS my Best Friend, growing up, it was Her, Me, Kaine and Katie and then one day you and your son, Sydney's dad, you attacked Sunstone right before the 'Passing of the Flame'" her tears became more pronounced
Storms stared at the girl before her, all this time, they had called her an Abomination, The Demon of the Flame, yet seeing her like this, seeing the monster that was said to be so powerful, be just an Angry Child.
"You killed my Mom, my Dad, my Older Brother, he was supposed to receive the Atlas Flame, our most sacred Treasure, and now all that remains of it" she outstretches her hands "Is this Broken Onyx Flame" The Fire screeched out as she called it by its name "I don't want to hate you anymore, I've spent every day since I escaped those mines Hating You, and I'm Tired of it, so I truly am sorry for what needs to happen. She presses her clenched his to her chest, before getting ready to fight "Its time
Hail begins to rain down on them, trying to snuff out these blasphemous flames, but even with the ice coming down in droves, nothing was happening to the flames, not even a single sizzle, as Track arched a brow at her
"Trying to snuff my fire? You're welcome to try" Track said as she placed a hand on hip, the ice shattering against her skin, it continued to come down but even with all of it, nothing was happening, to which Storm snickered and the rain stopped "Ice, Winds, Rain, and Lightning, Is that all you got?"
Track said as she unleashed a Burst of Orange Flames, to which the Weather Goddess summoned all of her power in order to create an Ice Shield to block it, but the beam is countered by a Red Beam of Kinetic Energy, glancing to the side "She's got Family!" Cyclops yells out and as if one queue, in the very next Instant, the Teleportation Disks of Magik appear right beside her head, and the Mutant Demon Sorceress exits with her Soul Sword swung behind her head, ready to attack her.
Her eyes dart back, a smile on her face as she dodges to the left, and Illyana swings right past her, and moving her neck to the right, dodging a Psychic Arrow from Psylocke, "That line was straight outta Fast and Furious by the Way!" she shouts as her Black Flames all go out on her command, and she throws a punch at Magik, who teleports out of the way.
Rogue and Colossus come in together, both having cocked their fists back "Still a great entry and what we're all about Cupcake!" Rogue yells as she and Colossus throw a punch at her, she lifts up one hand, pointing out her index and pinky fingers, and as their fists collide, they see her having completely stopped them, raising her head up and smiling "Nice try, Weaklings"
She grabs Rogue by the arm and force pushes Colossus away from her, but he suddenly stops in the air, "W-what?" Track grips unto Rogue arm tightly "How're you doing this, Telekinesis as well?"
"No actually, see I already told you my 'Gift' you call it, Heliokinesis. Well a byproduct of it, is Magnetic Energy Manipulation, and what're you made of?" throwing her hand down, she bashed Colossus into the ground, lifting him and then Rasputin IV who was nearly about to strike her with her own Soul sword, but then she stopped, "Same as you IV" lifting the both of them, she Magnetically slams the two Rasputins down on the ground, lifting them up once more, she chucks Colossus away "Sorry Pete!" she yells with her other hand Out to make a microphone, looking up to the paralyzed Rasputin IV,
But she was quickly released from that by a blast from Havok to Track, distracting her as she glanced at it, the Beam of Converted Cosmic to Plasma Energy, and she notices Cyclops from the side of her eye 'He's planning an Ambush, well, time for an old family special' she cooks up a Plan.
As the Beam from Havok nears Track, she dodges to the left, Cyclops takes his shot at her and a smirk creeps up her face, her fang shown as she waves her hand and both Kinetic and Plasma Beams completely take a U turn around and strike at the ones that fired them.
A massive burst of Psionic Energy escapes the body of Rachael Summers, as well as Quintin Quire, both of them Blasting her with Psionic Energy amplified by Rachael's Phoenix Fire, as the two beams converge on the Hybrid, she claps her hands together, creating a massive Sphere of Black Flames and then blasting the Conjoint Attack, the beams didn't even Struggle as the Onyx Flame Burned through The Multiversal Phoenix Flame and the two attackers dodged it, as it beams burned through the sky.
Rogue and her begin fighting hand to hand, but as for fighting, it was more of Rogue throwing punch after punch, Kick after Kick, only to be stopped each time simply with her Right Hand's Index Finger,
"Anna Marie LuBeau" catching her last punch, she pulled her in close "The Leech" with a single Claw Strike to her Torso, a massive gust of wind was release, sending her flying back and into Juggernaut, "Woah, Rogue, you okay!"
She spits up blood and spittle but manages to spit out "Yeah, just gimme a second" but descending from the sky, Track stated "To what? Steal more of Captain Marvel's Power, or someone else's?"
Rogue gets down and immediately drops to a knee "I don't feel, right" Rogue's breathing was heavy as sweat poured down her face, her arms shaking as she could hear her friends still fighting, but something was wrong with her, she cocked her fist into the air and threw a punch at the ground.
CRAK!
"AHHH!" Rogue screamed at the top of her lungs, everybody turned back to see what had happened and- she had broken her arm "Mah arm! My Strength, what did yah do to me!?"
Everybody turned back to Track as she descended from the sky in a ball of burning darkness, the power going out as she touches down, looking at her hand
"She never told me whom talk her this technique, every time I asked she wouldn't answer, but she said if I ever ran into a Mutant, this would help very much"
"W-what" Juggernaut is confused by what she meant "What did you do to her?!" he roared out
Staring back at him "The Mutant Anatomy is solely affected by their Mutations and X-Gene, but funnily enough, that X-Gene also created a unique set of Pressure Points, that can directly affect it" she answers him "These are almost impossible and very hard to perform, in fact the one I did is the only one I could learn"
"Learn What!" Wolverine shouted
"Anti-Mutant Combat" she states "Martial Arts designed specifically to target and affect your X-Gene directly. That attack I just hit you with, imagine it as if it were a reset 'Reset Button' I reset your X-Gene to when it was first active, all those years you spent stealing powers and memories, all gone, your back to Square One"
This realization haunted everyone, there was an entire Martial Art dedicated to directly targeting that which made them unique and it was created by their so called 'Genetic Superior' and the worst part of it, she said it was Taught to her, meaning that more of them may know how to do this.

Track stood there smiling at them as her Onyx Flame raged around her, red bolts of lightning crackling around her body it did so "Well… Who's Next?" she coldly stated
