"Hey eiichro!" a black haired man with purple eyes yelled. He had a young boy with similar hair and eyes hiding behind is leg.
"Dad! You didn't say I would be hanging out with a boy!" a young girl with brunette hair asked.
"Come on yukari! Nothing wrong with you making friends." eiichro said.
"Fine…i'll give it a shot." yukari said as she walked to the young boy. "What's your name?" yukari asked.
"S-s-skell. Skell shi." skell said as he sighly hid behind his leg. To yukari he didn't look an like an icky boy. He was more like a scared puppy. Making her giggle. She grabbed his hand.
"Don't worry i don't have cooties…come on! Let's play!" yukari yelled as she dragged skell to a nearby park.
"Your son is rather shy, isn't he arthas?" eiichro asked.
"He has problems making friends because of it…anyway do you have any idea what we're working on back at the lab? I have no clue what we're even working on." arthas said.
"No idea…all i know is it's something that will bring salvation." eiichro said.
"Sounds like the talk of cultists to me." arthas said.
"You worry too much arthas." eiichro said with a carefree smile. The two watched their kids playing with not a care in the world…
Ten years later.
April 6th 2009 monday
On a train to tatsumi port island. A boy with purple eyes and black hair woke up. He put his hand to his head.
"Why is that memory coming back now?" he asked as he pulled out a photo of the shi family and the takeba family in front of the takeba's home. "Yukari…will i ever see you again?" skell asked. As he looked around the train he saw a brunette with red eyes she had an accessory in her hair that was a roman 22. And next to her was a boy with blue hair and eyes. He looked utterly dead inside. While the girl was full of life. She noticed skell looking at them.
"Are you going to gekkoukan too?" the girl asked.
"Yeah…i just got transferred there" skell said though he don't know why…nothing was wrong…one day his dad seemed to panic about something…and sent him here…before skell left…arthas said "Sorry to do this to you" skell thought that he was weird…he know he wasn't talking about transferring to a new school…skell knew that it most likely had to do with the explosion that changed his life and forced him and yukari to seperate…maybe now he could get some answers on what happened that dark day.
"My name is kotone yuki…that emo over there is my brother makoto. We're on our way as well…why not join us?" kotone asked.
"Kotone…why are talking to strangers?" makoto asked.
"Just helping a classmate bro! Sheez…still protective even now." kotone said. As the train stopped. Skell got a call from his mother.
"Yeah i made it to the station…yeah i know it was a really long trip…no idea why he transferred me either." skell said. Kotone giggled at the worry of his mom. But she couldn't help but feel sad as well. As the clock struck midnight. Skell's call came to an abrupt end when the clock struck midnight. Skell's phone just shut off on it's own. "What the hell? I had 80 percent battery!" skell yelled. As the power completely shut off in the station. And soon filled with an ominous green glow as the only source of light. The three exited the station. Puddles of blood were everywhere.
"What…the hell is going on?" skell asked.
"Come on…we need to get moving...me and kotone are staying at the iwatodai dorm. Where's your dorm?" makoto asked.
"Uhh same one as a matter of fact." skell said.
"Oh cool! Come on we're late enough already." kotone said as the two walked towards their dome. While skell followed them utterly baffled that their acting so normal despite what was going on. As the three walked by more blood stains and coffins giving off an ominous red aura. The three finally made it to the dorm. The three entered the lobby. Behind the desk appeared a boy wearing a black and white prisoner outfit.
"Welcome." the boy said. skell and kotone jumped while makoto just turned over. The boy snapped his fingers and appeared right next to them. "You're late. I've been waiting a long time." the boy said only to disappear again. And once he reappears. Three pieces of papers appear on the lobby desk. "If you wish to proceed. Sign your name here. It's a contract." the boy said.
Skell gave the contract a good read just in case this boy wanted his soul. "There's no need to be scared. All it says is that you will full responsibility for your actions." the boy said. But skell still gave it a good reading just in case of any loopholes. He didn't find any. With a gulp. He signed the contract. Seemed like the other two didn't waste any time signing.
"These two are just as weird as this night." skell thought. The three handed the contracts over.
"Good…time is something no one can escape. It delivers us all to the same end. You can't plug your ears or cover your eyes." the boy said.
"Yeah…but the end doesn't matter. It's what you do with the time you have that matters…and when i do go…i'll go with no regrets." skell said. The boy chuckled.
"I wonder…will this time be different with this new variable…only time will tell…and so it begins again." the boy disappeared in black smoke.
"Who's there!?" a girl yelled. The group turned to see a brunette wearing pink. "How are you here at this hour?" the girl asked. It took a bit for Skell's eyes to adapt to the dark. But as he did. He recognized her. "Don't tell me.." the girl said. She was about to reach for the gun.
"Is that you…yukari?" Skell asked. She stopped and looked at him with wide eyes. Which quickly turned to a raised eyebrow.
"How do you…" she asked, her eyes adapted to the dark and she got a look at the high school boy who knew her name..and she quickly connected after all…who else could have black and purple eyes. "Skell?" she asked. The ominous green glow faded as the lights soon came back on and everyone was able to see a girl with long red hair that was in the dark beforehand. She approached.
"I didn't think you'd arrive so late. My name is mitsuru kirijo. I'm one of the students who live at this dorm." mitsuru said.
"Who are they?" yukari asked.
"They're transfer students. It was a last minute decision to assign them here. The boys will be moved to the boys dorm. While kotone will be moved to the girls dorm." mitsuru said.
"Is it okay for us to be here…so far this looks like a girls dorm to me." skell said.
"Not to worry. This dorm is co-ed. I would introduce takeba but it seems you two already know each other." mitsuru said.
"I do…weirdo siblings. Meet yukari takeba." skell said.
"Who are you calling a weirdo?" kotone asked with a pout.
"Are you boyfriend and girlfriend?" makoto asked.
"What!? No!" yukari yelled.
"We knew each other when we were kids….though an incident where both her and my dad worked caused her family to move away…" skell said with a sad look. Mitsuru giggles.
"Never too late to rekindle a friendship. But it's late, all of us should head to bed. Takeba will lead you and makoto. I'll take kotone to her room." mitsuru said. After showing makoto to his room. She took skell to his.
"This will be your room for the time being. Pretty east to remember considering it's across the hall from makotos..so any questions?" yukari asked.
"A massive one…what the hell just happened!? Everything went green. The streets were covered in blood and coffins. But now everything's back to normal just like that..what was that?" skell asked.
"I'm sorry…i can't answer that now. I will later. I promise." yukari said with guilt. Skell sighs.
"Fine." skell says opening his door. He looked at yukari with a smile. "Midnight weirdness aside…it's really nice to see you again yukari." skell said.
"...likewise." yukari said with a smile. Skell entered his room. And laid down on his bed. It took him a bit to finally fall asleep due to the lingering questions in his mind. He finally fell asleep and had a bizarre dream. He was in a forest of red trees. And sitting in a couple of chairs was yukari and a girl with short dark blue hair that he didn't recognize. They were both wearing long white dresses. They had flower crowns in the form of halos. Yukari had glowing pink wings while the blue haired girl had a purple and blue wing.
"What the hell?" skell asked.
"A usurper to nyx's throne has come." the blue haired girl angel said.
"Everyone and everything is bound by fate. Except you. Therefore you can rewrite it. How will you change the story? Will you make it a tragedy? Or will you make it a truly happy ending?" yukari angel asked.
"Only time will tell. Now go. The first door will open soon." the two angels said in unison.
A bright flash filled the room and skell. Woke up to the sun peering into his room.
April 7th. tuesday.
"Things just keep getting weirder and weirder…never thought i would be excited to go to school…after all that bizarre shit…i definitely need some normal high school life right now." skell said. He got up brushed his teeth. And put on his uniform. "Ready for school." skell said as he looked in the mirror. Someone knocked at his door.
"It's takeba. Are you awake skell?" yukari asked. He opened the door. "Good morning. Did you sleep okay?" yukari asked.
"Not really…but i'm ready. Let's head to school." skell said with enthusiasm. Yukari sweatdrop.
"You were never this excited to go to school…you really have changed." yukari said.
"Not really…i still hate school. But after last night. I need some normality." skell said.
"Don't tell anyone what you saw last night okay?" yukari asked.
"Fine…but i want some answers soon yukari." skell said.
"And you'll get them…just be patient. Okay?" yukari asked. Skell sighed and nodded. They met up with kotone and makoto. And headed out. The four hopped on a monorail for gekkoukan.
"This is how we'll be getting to school everyday. It's a monorail! Pretty cool huh?" yukari asked. Skell shrug.
"Better than being on a bus full of kids I wanna stab in the throat. That's for damn sure." skell said. Kotone looked at yukari with a look that screamed "what is he talking about?"
"Don't ask." yukari said. They didn't take the same bus to school when they were kids. But whenever the bus would pull up. It would already be incredibly noisy whenever it pulled it up. Yukari couldn't imagine having to deal with that racket every day on a bus ride that could take thirty minutes. She always wondered how skell didn't lose his mind being on that bus.
"The ocean is really pretty. If this view is what i'm getting everyday from now on…then this is shaping up to be a good year." skell said. Soon the school appeared on the horizon. The four arrived at the gate. The beautiful cherry blossom trees giving off a warm welcome.
"Well here we are." yukari said as she ran ahead. "Allow me to welcome you to gekkoukan high school. I hope you like it!" yukari said with a charming smile. The three parted from yukari on their way in. and headed for the faculty office. Inside. They were met by a woman who skell first thought was yukari's older sister. But then he remembered she was an only child.
"Oh, are you three the new students?" the woman asked and looked at her clipboard. "Skell shi." she said and looked up at skell. "Young man. Would you please give me your real name and not your nickname." the woman said in frustration.
"That is my real name. I know. It's a weird name. Move on." skell said.
"A-apologies. Seriously who names their kid skell?" the woman said quietly after apologizing. After reviewing skell's sign up forum she turned her attention to makoto and kotone. "Makoto and kotone yuki…twins? Who would have guessed. Both second years. Wow. you two lived in a lot of places. Let's see ten years ago your parents-" the woman read only to went wide eye after reading. "I'm sorry..i've been so busy. I didn't have time to read this beforehand." the woman said. Kotone giggled.
"It's fine. No harm done." kotone said with a bright smile.
"I'm ms toriumi. I teach composition welcome to our school." toriumi said.
"...thanks." makoto said. Afterwards a school assembly happened. The principal welcomed the new students. As he continued with his speech. A student behind skell began to talk to him.
"You came to school with takeba-san this morning. You two must be pretty close then huh?" the student asked.
"We knew each other when we were kids…though it's been years since we saw each other." skell replied.
"Really? So do you know if she has a boyfriend?" the student asked.
"I just got here. How the hell would i know? Ask her yourself pansy." skell said.
"Sheez. What's your problem?" the student asked.
"Who's that? Someone's talking sounds like someone from 's class." a teacher said.
"Be quiet! Your gonna get me in trouble!" yelled. Skell thought it was bullshit that she would get in trouble cause some douchebag from her class can't keep his mouth shut. But what can you do? After school came around and skell makoto and kotone were approached by a student wearing a baseball cap.
"Sup dude!" the student said.
"Hi…and you are?" skell replied.
"Call me junpei iori! I transferred here by my second year in middle school it's pretty tough being the new kid at first so i just wanted to say "hey!" see what a nice guy i am?" junpei asked. Yukari approached looking annoyed. "Hey it's yuka-tan! Didn't think we'd be in the same class again." junpei yelled.
"Yuka-tan?" skell asked.
"His dumb nickname for me." yukari said she turned her attention to junpei. "There you go again acting like everyone's best friend..try not to make them uncomfortable." yukari said.
"What? I was just being friendly." junpei said.
"If you say so." yukari said. Then turning her attention to the three new students. "Anyway. Who'd thought have we'd have the same homeroom." yukari said.
"Just means we have more time to talk. Hey do you want to hang out?" skell asked.
"Whoa. already putting the moves on yuka-tan? You got guts skelly-man." junpei said with a grin.
"I'm not…i said hang out not go on a date. How did you make that mistake?" skell asked.
"Because he's an idiot…i wish i could...make up for lost time…but i got archery practice today..i'm sorry." yukari said.
"It's fine…we have the whole year. Neither of us are going anywhere." skell said with a smile.
"Hey…you didn't tell anyone about last night right?" yukari asked.
"No…" makoto said.
"Nope!" kotone said.
"No…also you should consider how something sounds…someone with a dirty mind would probably think we did something lewd." skell said. Yukari and kotone turned their heads to junpei.
"Why are you looking at me?" junpei asked. With a sigh yukari left the room. Skell scratched his head.
"Archery huh? Wonder if there's a spot open." skell said.
"Already plotting your move skelly man?" junpei asked.
"Not really…i just want to talk to her…make up for lost time." skell said.
"Do you know how to use a bow?" kotone asked.
"My dad took me hunting any chance he got starting from when i was ten. So i got about seven years of hunting experience under my belt. That includes bow training and experience." skell replied.
"Cool! You know she's pretty popular! So you're already making a splash on your first day here. You da man!" junpei yelled.
"Hopefully no spiteful simp tries to beat me up...well got nothing to do for the rest of the day…know any good food joints around these parts?" skell asked.
"Hell yeah! I know this awesome ramen place!" junpei yelled. On the way out they saw a white haired student getting hit on by a bunch of girls. From what skell managed to hear. He was the leader of the boxing team. The track team ran by. The four hit a place called hagakure ramen at the iwatodai strip mall.
"I think this is the best ramen i had in my life…" skell said.
"I know right? So you and yuka-tan…what's the history?" junpei asked with his grin.
"We knew each other when we were kids. Our dads were best friends…and they hoped that me and her would be best friends too. We were getting close to each other…until that incident ten years ago." skell said. His voice somber.
"Incident?" makoto asked.
"I don't know what the hell happened but the lab they were working at…it exploded. Taking the lives of everyone involved. Including yukari's dad. Her and her mom moved away after that. Guess yukari's mom couldn't handle being in the area where her husband died. So they moved to another area. I haven't heard from her since." skell said.
"Dude…" junpei said somberly.
"Sorry to hear that…did your father…" kotone asked.
"He was the only one who survived…no clue how. But i'm thankful. Albeit not without scars. You know that batman villain two-face? My dad's pretty much that. Minus the split personality. And despite not being as handsome as he used to be. My mom still loves him and is still with him." skell said. His phone rang. It was his mom. "Hang on i gotta take this… hey mom…yes i'm fine…wish i could tell ya…i have no clue either…hopefully i'll get some answers soon…i'll be careful…love you too…bye." skell said as he hangs up. "Sorry about that." skell says and slurps some more ramen.
"Your mom really does love you." kotone said with a smile.
"Her worried filled calls can be annoying…but i know it's only because she loves me and doesn't want harm to come to me." skell says.
"Your lucky..some of us don't even have parents anymore." makoto says with an emotionless face…
"Sorry about him…we lost our parents ten years ago in a car accident. Since then he's been downright emotionless." kotone said.
"It's fine…it's surprising you're still so spunky and full of life despite that." skell said.
"Thanks" kotone said with a giggle. The four finished their ramen. And headed back to their dome.
Evening.
The three entered the dorm and were approached by mitsuru. "Welcome back. How was your first day of school?" she asked.
"So far so good." skell said.
"Not too bad!" kotone said.
"Tiring." makoto said.
"I see…you three must be tired. So get some rest." mitsuru said. The three took her advice. And headed for bed. Though skell realized he didn't ask what happened on the 6th.
"Screw it. I'll ask next evening." skell said as he fell asleep.
April 8th wednesday.
Classes came and went. makoto gave the correct answer to junpei. Earning some academic for answering right. And some charm from helping out a friend. After school. Makoto went straight home. Kotone wanted to give a visit to a shrine. And as for skell. He signed up for the archery team. Luckily for him. One of the team mates bailed. So there was a free spot.
"We have a new member today. Introduce yourself." the archery teacher said.
"My name is skell shi. I hope we can get along." skell said with a smile. Yukari was shocked to see him as their new member. But was happy that she could talk to her childhood friend without her club getting in the way now.
"So tell us skell. Do you have some skill with a bow?" the teacher asked. Skell nodded.
"I would say so…i imagine this would be easier…after all. A target doesn't dodge or run like a deer or rabbit would." skell said. The teacher laughed.
"Went hunting a few times huh? Well show us what you got." the teacher said. Skell nodded and took up a bow. He managed to land all five arrows he was given with bullseyes.
"Definitely easier than rabbits or deer." skell said.
"It would seem so…alright welcome to the team. Skell shi. The hunter." the teacher said. After cleaning up yukari approached skell.
"First skelly man now the hunter? Getting nicknames is easy around here." skell said.
"I can't believe you killed cute rabbits…what is wrong with you?" yukari asked.
"Because my mom has a one hell of a rabbit stew recipe…makes the ramen at hagakure look flavorless in comparison…speaking of which. Want to grab a bite?" skell asked.
"Hmm…sure." yukari replied. The two went to the wakatsu restaurant at the iwatodai strip mall.
"Seems like all the good food joints are here." skell said.
"Yeah but if you want a good hangout spots. paulownia mall is where to go." yukari said.
"So how've you and your mom been? What happened couldn't have been easy for either of you." skell said.
"Me and my mom aren't on the best of terms…after we moved. She started to throw herself at random guys. It was unbearable. Just made me wish i could run to arthas and eriko to have them adopt me…it would be nice having my best friend be my brother." yukari said with a sad smile.
"I'm sorry yukari.." skell said.
"For what?" yukari asked.
"My dad may have half his body burnt from the explosion but he's still alive. My family is fine…why was i given a miracle. While you had to do with this just seems…unfair." skell said.
"I can't deny that i'm a bit jealous…but i'm sure your dad is grieving too. Our dads were best friends after all. I can't imagine he could just move on from that." yukari said.
"Yeah…my dad was silent about it…but i'm not mistaken his silence for lack of grief. Eiichro's death has hurt us all. But that's why we owe it to him to live a life we can be happy about." skell said. Yukari smiled.
"Yeah…dad wouldn't want his little girl to be sad…you know. I'm glad i got to see you again skell." yukari said.
"Likewise." skell said. A voice in skell's head soon whispered.
"I am thou..thou art i…thou has rekindled an old bond…with the power of the lovers by your side. The power to change fate will be closer to your grasp." the two angels said.

Evening.
The two returned to the dorm and saw makoto and kotone sitting on the couch on a chair in the lobby was man with long brown hair weaning glasses.
"Who's the old guy?" skell asked.
"My name is shuji ikutsuki. I'm the chairman of the board at your school…hard to say isn't it? That's why i don't like introducing myself. Even i get tongue tied sometimes." ikutsuki said. Skell sat down on the couch across from the yuki siblings.
"Is there anything you'd like to ask?" ikutsuki asked.
"Yeah. what the hell happened on the 6th. Everything turned off. Turned green and the streets were covered in blood and coffins! Not only that. Why the hell did yukari have a pistol? I thought schools were no gun zones!" skell yelled.
"Coffins? Blood? You probably were just tired. I wouldn't worry about it." ikutsuki said. Skell stood up.
"Tired!? Are you serious!? How stupid do you think i am!?" skell yelled.
"Skell! Calm down!" yukari yelled.
"You said you would give me answers and i've been patient! So explain what the hell i saw on the 6th right frigging now yukari!" skell yelled.
"That's enough!" mitsuru yelled. She and the white hair student came down the stairs hearing the commotion. "You will get the answers you seek. I promise. Just please be patient." mitsuru yelled.
"Fine…" skell said. He walked to his room but not before turning around. "You got until sunday. After that. If you still don't tell me anything. I'll beat the answers out of you." skell said. As he walked upstairs.
"Heh…i'd like to see him try." the white haired student said.
"Akihiko…please not now…" mitsuru said irritated.
Later that night as skell makoto and kotone are asleep.
A video feed shows their three rooms through camera. Being viewed. By the chairman mitsuru and yukari. Once midnight hit. The green glow came and everyone except the people at the iwotodai dorm turned into coffins…except one person in a back alley. He screamed in agony as black goo poured out of his eyes ears nose and mouth. The three observers came to the conclusion that they have the "potential" of course yukari wasn't happy with treating them like guinea pigs. Especially her childhood friend. She felt like was already on thin ice with the fact that he's been asking for the truth. But she was unable to give it to him. The chairman brushed off her concerns saying she should be happy that she has people in her year by her side. But it didn't change the guilt she felt.
During that night. Makoto and kotone's minds were transferred to a blue room where a man with a long nose named igor was. alongside him where his assistants. A boy and girl wearing blue elevator attendants outfits. With grey hair and yellow eyes. These were Elizabeth and Theodore After talking about the contract they filled out. Both of them were giving velvet keys.
"Wait…skell signed a contract too. Why isn't he here?" kotone asked.
"His power lies somewhere else…a much darker power sleep within him…the power of the defiler…i can only hope he'll use this power to aid you. Beings like him have challenged fate countless times. Will he bring chaos and destruction? Or will he rewrite the threads of fate for a better outcome. Only time will tell. Until we speak again. Farewell." igor said.
April 9th thursday.
The morning came around. Junpei talked to skell about the pros of sleeping in class. Something skell has history of doing. Which skell did. Skell wasn't sure why. But he felt that was an asshole. So he napped out of spite. After school. Skell hung out with junpei makoto and kotone for the day at paulownia mall. Junpei was playing the crane game. But got incredibly frustrated when he lost. Skell took a shot and got it immediately.
"Dude you rock!" junpei said.
"I used to do this for yukari all the time. She always wanted those plushies. But she could never win. And i decided to get it for her. The smile on her face was always worth it." skell said with a smile.
"You two must have been so cute!" kotone said with a smile.
"Hey skelly-man! You got anything i can tease yuka-tan with?" junpei asked.
"Tons…but those are for me and me alone." skell said with a grin.
"You know. This was fun. I think we want to do this again. If that's fine with you." kotone said.
"Yeah. i'm up for that." skell said.
"...thanks." makoto said with something skell or junpei has seen on his face yet. A smile. Kotone was happy that her brother was smiling. Skell felt like he made three friends today. And in doing so the two angels came back again.
"I am thou…thou art i…thou has gained a new bond. With the power of the magican at your side. The power to change fate will be closer to your grasp." the angels said.

"So..wanna grab a bite?" junpei asked.
"Yes please!" skell said
The evening rolled around. And just like before the three went to their rooms. Makoto and kotone looked at the keys they got. Wondering who that old man was. And what did he mean by skell's power being that of the defiler? What did that mean? The two were to tired to think about it. And quickly fell asleep. Skell was also asleep but had a disturbing nightmare. Skell was a kid standing in front of the burning building that was the lab. The burning body of eiichiro came out. But the fires faded away and his skin became black and leaked black goo. His eyes turned to glowing crimson red. Eiichiro then charged for skell. Which was the point he woke up in a sweat. And noticed that his room had a green glow. Skell grabbed something from his room before he exited the three watching him couldn't see what he took. He wondered a bit tired. But he heard some mechanical noise coming from the room on the top floor. He entered and saw the computer showing makoto kotone and his room.
"What the hell!?" skell yelled.
"Skell! i can explain!" yukari said with nervousness and fear.
"We'll explain later. But you should go back to you-" mitsuru said only for skell to take what he took from his room out…a tiger claw knife that was at Mitsuru's throat now. "How did you?" mitsuru asked.
"Start…talking." skell said with a threatening tone. The situation was tense. Only for the radio to go off.
"Akihiko? We have a situation here!" mitsuru yelled.
"So do i! This one is huge! And it's chasing after me! Get ready!" akihiko yelled.
"He's bringing that thing here!?" yukari asked.
"Shi..we don't have time to explain right now! Put down the knife! Please!" mitsuru yelled.
"What thing was akihiko talking about!?" skell asked. Skell put his knife down for the time being. The four went down to find a wounded akihiko.
"Akihiko!" mitsuru yelled.
"What the hell is going on!?" skell asked in confusion in fear.
"We don't have time! Shi! You wake up makoto! Takeba you wake up kotone!" mitsuru ordered.
"Alright. Skell. Here!" yukari yells as she hands a shortsword to skell. "Give that to makoto" yukari ordered.
"Get ready…it'll be here any second." akihiko said.
"What the hell are you talking about!?" skell yelled. Only for the dorm to shake. "What the fuck is that!?" skell asked.
"No time! Go!" mitsuru yelled. Skell and yukari headed to their objectives.
"Makoto! Wake the hell up!" skell yells kicking down his door.
"Skell…what's going on?" makoto asked.
"No idea. But considering whatever the hell is outside caused the whole damn dorm to shake and plus considering mitsuru wanted me to give you this." skell said as he handed him the shortsword. "Needless to say. It's nothing good! Yukari is waking up and arming kotone now let's go!" skell yelled. The two met up with kotone and yukari on the third floor. And the four ran to the roof. Yukari locked the door behind her.
"Okay. we should be safe here." yukari said.
"What the fuck is going on yukari!?" skell asked. The whole place shake again. And behind them. A black hand reached up and grabbed the end of the roof. As if pulling it self up. "W-w-WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT!?" skell yelled in horror and confusion.
"No way…it climbed up the wall!?" yukari asked. Soon a bunch more hands appeared. The creature was nothing but hands. One holding up blue mask with a roman 1 on it's forehead. Once the creature saw them. Swords appeared in it's many hands. And charged at the group.
"That's it. One of the monsters that attacked us…it's a shadow!" yukari pulled out her pistol and put it to her head.
"Yukari what the hell are you doing!?" skell asked. She couldn't bring herself to pull the trigger the shadow slapped her away. Her pistol landed at skell's feet. He picked it up. Something inside was beckoning him to put it to his head. And when he did. A smile was on his face.
"Rip that shadow apart…jack the ripper." skell said as he pulled the trigger. Red and black glass appeared from his head as his eyes glew red. As a large skeleton appears behind him complete with a black trench coat white gloves and top hat. It came with a monstrous cackle.
"Jack the ripper lives on!" the skeleton yelled with glee as he pulled from his coat a giant meat cleaver. And slashed it to pieces. It's mask was sent flying in the air and was also slashed to pieces when it reached jack's line of sight. As jack was crushing one of the creatures many arms. A red void opened and another skeleton appeared. This one wearing a middle age bard outfit and carrying a violin.
"What a marvelous performance. I am david! Let us give a heart stopping show together shall we." david said. Before skell could figure out what was going on. The pieces of the shadow came to life and attacked.
"Get away from me!" yukari yelled as she crawled away.
"Get away from her!" skell yelled as his eyes flash red. David played a song on his violin. And the shadows were soon swallowed up by blasts of dark energy. Skell breathed heavily as jack the ripper and david disappeared. And skell soon fell unconscious. Yukari ran up to him and begged for him to say something. Makoto and kotone were now just as hellbent on figuring out what the hell is going on just as much as skell is.
