A/N: I'm sorry, I know I said id upload my other chapters, but today's volume 9 episode left me in pieces. I just sat down and busted this out a head of 3 of my other chapters. Figured give the WR shippers some positive WR stuff or atleast try, as today was not our day :'( hopefully you do enjoy.
Weiss awoke to her alarm for the first time, with a smile. "Today is gonna be a good day." Weiss jumped from her bed, she felt so amazing. She hopped in the shower, then made her way to her closet. A white blouse, light blue suit jacket and matching skirt, and she was ready. She exited her room and made her way to Ruby room. She grabbed the knob and with a quick swing she enter Ruby's room, before she had time to react. "Ruby are you rea-" Weiss was cut off mid sentence, as she came face to face Ruby, Fresh from the shower, the only thing Ruby had was a towel on her head, and a blush on her face. It's all Weiss remembers as it all went black after that.
As for Ruby, all she seen was Weiss, then the worst nose bleed she's seen, then Weiss hit the ground. "WEISS!!!"
Weiss isn't sure what happened, but when she wakes up, she's laying on the couch with Klein putting a warm rag on her forehead. It all comes back to her. As she blushes again. "Weiss! So glad your away my little snowflake, how are you feeling?"
"Feeling… um..." she can't stop blushing.
Ruby walks over, wearing blue jeans, a black t-shirt snd red dress shirt over top with her gun. "Hey Weiss? Are you ok?" Weiss looked to Ruby then looked away.
"I ah.. s-should have knocked.. I apologize.."
"It's fine… it's your home." Ruby nervously scratches the back of her head. "So um.. are you ready?"
"I ah.. will be in a moment. Please let me gather myself." Weiss couldn't look at Ruby without turning red. Ruby nervously made her way to the limo to meet Penny inside of it.
"Good morning Ruby!" Penny cheerfully said as Ruby sat down next to her.
"Hi Penny, good morning." Penny tilted her head.
"Is something wrong Ruby?" Ruby wouldn't look at Penny, her eyes darted to and away from Weiss as she climbed into the limo, she sat down, almost mimicking Ruby. Penny eyeballed both, as she evilly grinned, "oh you know miss Schnee, I should jump up front and help the driver navigate!" Weiss tried to stop her but Penny was much too fast, in a flash she was gone, leaving Weiss and Ruby alone.
"M-maybe I should join Penny." Ruby goes to move but stops when the limo begins to move. She sits back down.
"Um.. you.. are um.. very well toned" as Weiss blushes again, wondering why the hell she just said that.
"A-ah.. t-thanks.." Ruby nervously scratched the back of her head. "I shouldn't have been waking around like that, sorry you had to see it."
Weiss blushes as the image crosses her mind again. She takes a deep breath. "I.. say we just forget it happened, deal?" She looks away but extends her hand out to Ruby who takes it.
"Deal." Ruby said, trying hard to mask the embarrassment she still had of Weiss seeing her Naked. Living alone had spoiled her, and without knowing herself, spoiled Weiss.
"So, are you excited about your amusement park opening?"
Weiss smirked, and turned her gaze to Ruby nodded. "It's been a long time coming, my father finally agreed to it. I've been trying for months to finally get his approval, and he finally signed off on it."
"Oh? Months? Why did it take so long?"
"My father isn't one for "fun" he thinks there is better things to waste time on,"
"You father seems like an ass, No offense." Weiss just started giggling. Which greatly puzzled Ruby. "Why are giggling?"
"My father isn't an ass, he's a full on jagoff, bigot with a inferiority complex over his "little friend." That's why in giggling. You're being too nice."
"O-oh. I just didn't want to offend." Ruby giving Weiss a toothy grin.
Weiss couldn't help but smile at Ruby, she was so pure. The limo then comes to a soft stop, as Penny's voice rings though the speaker to the right of Weiss. "Miss Schnee, we have arrived! Please make yourself decent before exiting the limo."
Weiss blushed, quickly hitting the button on her end. "What did you mean by that!?" No response as she hits it again. "Penny what did you mean?!" Ruby giggled herself now. "Ugh! That girl.. anyways, let's just go Ruby." Weiss opens the door and climbs out as Ruby follows.
Klein and Penny walk up to Ruby and Weiss. Weiss glares at Penny. Penny just smiles. "I am very glad to see you are dressed without a wrinkle or hair outta place, Miss Schnee." Ruby could see the vein popping in Weiss' head, her eyes darting from Klein to Penny.
"I'll kill you later, but for now Penny, do you have the guest list for today's VIP list?" Penny nodded, hanging over her electron tablet. Weiss takes a look.
"Wait a minute, this can't be right."
"What is it snowflake?" Klein ask, as Weiss seemed completely puzzled.
"My father is on the list..? My father shouldn't be on this list."
"Maybe it's a mistake Weiss." Weiss shrugs.
"Maybe, I can worry about it later. We got things to do," Weiss hands the tablet back to Penny as they head off to the entrance, and into to the park, unknown to them, a group of men watch from afar.
Weiss locks arms with Ruby again. "You are my escort for today, got it Ruby?" Ruby, being as silly as she can be, salutes Weiss.
"You got ma'am! I'll be ya escort," Ruby replied in as silly a tone she could muster, making Weiss giggle.
"Wow! The Ice queen laughs? Impressive!" The small group of four turn to see a well dressed man walking up to them, white suit much like Weiss' father. Slicked back black hair and a pale complexion, but an air or snob exhumed from him. "I must say Weiss, I can't say I've heard you laugh ever before."
Weiss' eyes narrowed, her poster changed. "What are you doing here François..?" Ruby felt Weiss squeeze tighter on her arm, she looked down to Weiss then to François.
"Why can't an old boyfriend support his ex? I mean I did buy my VIP pass, my beautiful Snowflake." Ruby felt something change in her. She clenched her fist tightly.
"We were never together.. you may stay, but don't you ever say we were anything you bucket of slime." Weiss coldly replied, venom in her voice.
"Now, now my little snowflake, don't act like that." Ruby's eyes darted to Klein to see he was getting angry now, Penny as well looked to have a complete disgust for him. Her eyes now dart to François again.
"Just get lost, we were never together, and you know that.." he smirks and reaches out to her, in a flash Ruby has his hand tightly in her bone crushing grip.
"Ah! Unhand me you brute!" Ruby squeezes tighter, as his hand turns red, bringing him to his knees.
"You ever try to touch her again, and I'll kill you.." François was hitting the ground with hid fist in pain, as Ruby kept her death grip firm. "Do you understand me!" Ruby gives a bit more to his hand as yelps in pain.
"Yes! By the almighty I understand!" Ruby let's go as he pulls his mostly mangled looking hand away, he looks up to Weiss and Ruby.
"So… this is your type.. some butch, you dyke bitch…"
"Go! Now!" Ruby screamed as she gritted her teeth and growled, making him yelp again and ran off, holding his crushed hand. Weiss was speechless, she had watched the whole thing, but she had to tug at her collar of her shirt, gulping.
"Oh, my.. well. I um.." Weiss was stuggling for words, msking Ruby glance down to her.
"Ah, Weiss? Are you ok?" Ruby seemed confused but Penny and Klein definitely knew, both just exchanged simple smiles, watching Weiss spurting out gibberish. "Weiss?"
"Oh Snowflake, take a breath and calm down." Klein had to chuckle after saying so, as Weiss took a deep breath, looked at him and chuckled to herself.
"I just wanted to say thank you Ruby."
"It was nothing Weiss, he's a dork anyways." Ruby then scratched the back of her head, with a soft blush and much softer demeanor.
"Yes, he was a dork." Weiss giggled, as she tugged Ruby along, "come along you two, we gotta get to the stage."
"You got it miss Schnee!" Penny cheered as she and Klein followed Weiss to the stage.
Once at the stage, Ruby and Klein stayed in the crowd, as Penny and Weiss took their spots, center stage. A man dressed in a finely stitched suit, he was a tad old to care much for an amusement park, standing infront of a microphone. "Hello everyone! I'm so glad to see such a turn out for our first day of WONDERLAND! Come and make all your dreams a reality!" As a parade of furry mascots run the stage and the crowd of children erupts In loud screams of happiness.
"With our grand opening, we can only thank one person! Once visionary! MISS WEISS SCHNEE!" The crowd erupts again, only this time it's to Applaud, instead of screaming kids. Weiss smiles so happily as she walks up to the microphone, the man jumps to her side,
"Yes, I'd love to thank you all for coming today, this was a plan my Late grandfather and I wanted to do, sadly he never had the time. After much convincing, my Father had finally agreed to let me start, I want this to bring laughter and joy!" Weiss looked so happy as she continued speaking, Ruby couldn't stop smiling, till she saw a flash of red, she turns to see Adam, they make eye contact as he flees, Ruby pushes past Klein and other guess as she darts off.
Ruby ran fast as she could, coming to a screeching halt by the house of mirrors, she went for her gun, as she slowly made Her way inside, she crept through slowly. "Show yourself!" She growled, gripping her gun tighter. "I said show yourself!"
"Who do you work for..?" A voice rang out, Ruby could only assume it's Adam.
"I work for no one!" Ruby barked, her eyes scanning for him, only seeing herself,
"If that is so, then why are you here? Following me..?"
"B-because im… ahh."
"A lover to that Schnee monster… his side piece."
"What did you just say!?" She growled louder, as she felt like she wanted to puke at the thing he said.
"I said, are you a lover to that bastard Jacques Schnee.."
"Oh hell no! In his damn dreams!" Ruby screamed.
"Oh.. then his Daughter? Interesting."
"I… I… n-no! I'm.. I'm her bodyguard! Now tell me why you're after her!?"
"After her? I'm not after her, I'm after her father.."
"Wait.. but you had your group try to kill her yesterday, I seen you, then the place went to hell!"
"You think that was me?" Adam starts to laugh maniacally, as Ruby spun around as much as she could, trying to find him, trying to find the source. "That's pretty cute, you think that was me." Ruby sees him step out, she pulls the trigger as she shots a mirror, it shatters right infront of her. "I am honored honestly. You think I'd be the one doing this, I'm the one after your little heiress? Think you are barking up the wrong tree. Tell me who's with your little princess now, if you're here with me?"
"W-what are you talking about?"
"Your, or should I say my 'friends' as you think they are, have been in the park now for a good bit of time. So tell me.. who is with your princess?"
Ruby's eyes buldged from her head, "Wait, Weiss!" Ruby holisters her gun and runs out of the house of mirrors as fast as she could, she reaches the stage, as Weiss was still talking. She runs up and grabs Weiss' arm, shocking Penny and Weiss.
"Weiss! We gotta go!"
"What!? Whatever for Ruby?"
"Listen to me! They are in the park!" Ruby goes to pull Weiss away as everyone in the crowd watches, Weiss tries to fight back but gives in. As Ruby pulls her away, before Weiss has a chance to speak, Penny's voice rings out.
"Get down!" Penny screams, jumping from the stage, as Ruby spots three men dressed in black suits with masks and armed with machine guns, within seconds gunshots ring out as the podium is littered with them. Ruby having yanked Weiss down and away covers her, she pulls her gun, aims and with dead-on accuracy takes out the three gunmen with one shot each before they can try to retaliate, Ruby jumps up and yanks Weiss to her feet and pushes her towards Penny.
"Listen, I want you get to somewhere safe now! I got this!"
"Not Without you!" Weiss screamed, as the people started running away, Klein jumped up onto the stage and grabbed onto Weiss, Weiss grabbed a hold of Ruby. "Come with us!"
"I promise! I'll catch up! Just go! I'll cover you!" Klein and Penny both grab ahold of Weiss and force her off stage, as Ruby follows for a moment then watches for any more black suited thugs in masks. She aims her gun watching for more, the VIPs run and or hide, Ruby listens closely as she tries to find more, she turns her head to see Weiss, Penny and Klein are gone, she turns and begins to try and run towards the direction she seen them running. Ruby hears gun fire erupt again, and then feeling a sharp pain in her shoulder, as a bullet has grazed the top of her shoulder, making her fall to the ground, tucking and rolling, dodging the rain of bullets.
Ruby rolls and fires a shot taking another nameless thug out, and two more come from nowhere as she jumps up, and sends out to more, as her precise and deadly skill take them out before they can even take aim, a forth comes running from the side of her peripheral vision, he swings a club of some sort. Ruby blocks with her arm. To the shock of the thug, Ruby grinned as she used her gun to knock him to the ground. She didn't see any more thugs and made her way towards the others.
Klein, Penny and Weiss had made it to the Winter dragon's revenge, as they huddled up in the employee's lounge.
"Where is she..?" Weiss questioned no one in particular, as she could feel her heart beating. Klein and Penny both put their hands on Weiss' opposite shoulders.
"She will be here soon, I'm sure Snowflake." Klein said, trying to reassure Weiss, as they heard gun fire being exchanged again. Klein hugged Weiss to keep her calm. It stopped, and went silent again. Klein still held Weiss tightly. The door was then kicked in as a few thugs walk in, Klein then tries to cover Weiss and Penny does the same.
"She's just a young woman! What's she done to you scum buckets!" Red eyes Klein said as they aimed their guns at her.
"Just hand her over, and we won't hurt you.." one of the thugs said.
"Like hell we would!" Penny screamed as Weiss forced Klein off of her, pushing him away, and pulling Penny behind her.
"You give your word you won't hurt them?"
"Weiss don't!" Klein and Penny screamed.
"Yeah, we promise… follow me, as for your friends. They heve to stay out till we say so." As the middle one of the three leave the room, Weiss nods follows as the other two stay in room, once Weiss leaves another of the things follow and shuts the door, leaving Penny and Klein with the single thug.
The thing who was second to leave stopped a few steps away, as Weiss was forced to walk over towards the roller coaster tracks. "It's your time, Schnee. Any last words." Weiss tried to stay strong. To gather her thoughts, her mind went to Ruby, and if she was ok. She sighed and stood her ground, she was filled with a sense of new found strength.
"Go to hell." Was all Weiss said, as the thug took aim, they both heard a gun cocking, as Ruby had taken the other thug out without detection.
"Are you sure you wanna throw your life away, like the others?" The thug could be heard gulping. "Put your weapon down and I won't end your life…"'Ruby was cold and angry. Weiss, even though her life was in danger moments ago, was back to tugging at her collar as the thug laid his gun down, Ruby using her gun, hit him in the head as he fell to the ground, Weiss jumped over him and hugged Ruby tightly.
"I was so scared! I'm glad you're ok!" Weiss screamed.
"I'm ok!? You had a gun in your face!" Ruby was quick to reply, as she could feel Weiss hugging her tigher.
"I knew I'd be ok, because I had you to save me." Weiss kept hugging Ruby, till it dawned on her, she forgot about Penny and Klein. "Wait! Ruby! We gotta-" Ruby cut Weiss off this time.
"Penny and Klein are fine! No worries. They called the police, they are on the way."
"You are amazing.." Weiss smiled.
Within a few minutes, the police had arrived, as the VIPs and others walked out and were questioned, Ruby and Weiss made their way to the entrance, where the police, Penny and Klein were waiting. Ruby keeps her arm wrapped around Weiss firmly. "I'm sorry about your park Weiss."
"It's… it's ok.. I can rebuild it.. I'm just glad I still have you." Weiss leans her head on Ruby's shoulder. "You saved me again, I doubted you for a moment, I'm sorry.."
"It's ok, don't worry about it, ok?" Weiss nodded to Ruby, as she saw all the bodies littering the park, there was so many of them, how did they know the layout of the park? How did they even get it? She began to wonder.
"Do you mind telling me what the hell you were doing Schnee!!" Screamed a tall man with black and white graying hair. He stormed over.
"Chief Ironwood, I didn't do-" Ironwood stopped her.
"No! I wanna know what the hell you are trying to pull!."
"This was a terrorist attack!" Screamed Ruby as she growled again.
"Who the hell are you!?" Ironwood screamed back.
"I'm her bodyguard!" Ruby screamed.
"Oh!! So are you the one getting the insurance money for these 'attacks' well!?"
"What!?" Weiss questioned. "You think I did this for insurance!?"
"Well, in the last few accidents, they were called in under insurance claims!" Ironwood screamed as Weiss was left speechless. Ruby held her.
Ruby then helps Weiss to the limo, pushing past Ironwood, towards Penny and Klein. "I'm not done with you two! I want statements!"
"You'll get them later!" Ruby screams as she helped Weiss into the limo, followed by Klein, and Penny, as Ironwoord continued to scream at them as the limo pulled away. Weiss was quiet the entire ride. Not saying a word, just leaning on Ruby. Once back home, Weiss heads right to her room. Locking the door, leaving Penny, Klein and Ruby.
Ruby walked to Weiss' door, she thought about knocking, but she just sighed and went to her room to lay down. The rest of the evening, Ruby kept thinking about Weiss, wondering how she's doing. Ruby sighed. She needed to see her, so she jumped from bed, and headed to the door, as she reached down to open it, it opened the other way as Ruby saw Weiss standing before her, wrapped in a blanket. She looked so sad and scared.
"W-Weiss…?"
"Ruby… can.. can I sleep with you?"
"Ah.. s-sure.." Ruby blushes as she lets Weiss walk in and watches Weiss as she climbs into Ruby's bed and culls up. Ruby walks over, she softly climbs into bed with Weiss. She pulls Weiss close and holds her, they stay like that for awhile, Weiss cuddling into Ruby.
"Ruby..?" Weiss sounded so meek and scared.
"Yes?"
"Do.. Do you like me?"
"What? Of course I do!" Ruby replied.
"No.. I mean, really like me..?" Ruby blinked for a moment.
"What do you mean?" As Weiss climbs on top of Ruby, their eyes met, Weiss leaned down and brings her lips to Ruby's for only a moment, before pulling back and locking eyes once again. Weiss gently cups Ruby's cheek. Ruby bushes as her heart starts beating faster. "W-Weiss…"
"I… need to know Ruby, do you feel the same for me? Moment we met, I felt such strong feelings for you, today scared me, almost dying twice. If something were to happen to me or you before I tell you, just how I feel, I don't know what I'd do, just please tell me, how you feel about me.." Weiss keeps their eye contact as she rubs Ruby's cheek.
"Weiss…" Ruby brings her hand up and to the back of Weiss' head as she pulls her closer. "I feel, I'm in love with you." They share another kiss, only this kiss leads to more, as their small kiss lead to a night of passion, as they let their passion and feeling free for a night.
Ruby wakes up with Weiss in her arms and a smile. Ruby felt a little embarrassed, Weiss was a client. It was wrong but from the moment they met, Ruby knew she had felt things for Weiss, the moment their eyes met, the feeling was love. Ruby was in love with Weiss. She held her tighter as her conversation with Adam was on repeat in her mind. If Adam wasn't behind the attacks, was he a scapegoat? Who was the real mastermind? On top of the insurance claims. Ruby was thinking of a suspect, and the whole thing made her so sick, she held onto Weiss a little tighter.
