We now return to see the studio still covered in darkness, save for the completely orbs and Cacey staring with her glowing eyes.
"Welcome back. If you are just tuning it, I was just about to discuss what Launchpad selected for the gimmick of this round." Cacey said. "It is… Redemption Arc."
She then held up an orb that had the picture of a scarab beetle on this.
"Curious to know who this is. This is Khepri from SMITE. He has the ability to cast an Auto-Revive spell on a dying ally or himself to revive them from the brink of death." Cacey explained. "As you could imagine, a fighter from the last section will be randomly chosen, as long as they have one or no eliminations to their name and are brought back into the ring for a second chance. Not unlike the Second Chance gimmick in the Okron Tournament, except things had been taken to chance."
She then smiled.
"However, Launchpad ended up playing into Elmer's hand as the prize he got was perfect for this section. It was something called the 'Redemption Arc Token'. When played, either of a random fighter coming in, will bring in fighters in a group equivalent to how many Big Guys were in the previous section." Cacey asked. "Why? Because that is the amount of people who have gotten an elimination yet got eliminated in the same section."
She then smirked.
"That is correct. When the Redemption Arc Token is played, the aforementioned people will have the chance to get the next round! It seems that being eliminated doesn't even matter for a 'regular' fate." Cacey smiled. "Now, I WOULD tell you about the ones who got this second chance, but that is not my job. What I CAN say is that for a better chance to survive, they will have a later draw than the surviving but not the new fighters. HOWEVER, to compensate, they lack their usual automatically fatigue vote."
She then nodded.
"So yes, this is my segment. Maybe this won't be as grand as Ronald's segments, especially since I have been told by Orange-Ratchet himself that there may not be a few twists." Cacey said. "Regardless, I am still glad to have this chance. I must say, I was surprised that Drake asked ME to be the host but I am still happy. Well, I will take you back to them."
The lights then went back on which showed a grinning Drake and Ashley.
"Thanks, Cacey!" Drake grinned.
"It was really nice of you to give Cacey her own segment, Drake." Ashley noted.
"But of course, technically she WAS part of the staff in the last Tournament of Kikai recap show." The vampire shrugged. "Besides, seeing that the mystery envelopes and the Safe Zone will be just as prominent as ever, might as well give its own segment."
"Well, fair enough." Ashley said before looking at the camera. "In any case, we will not only introduce the new fighters but also the ones who were saved by Elmer's Redemption Arc Token."
"But first things first, we will go over the surviving ones!" Drake grinned
RAPHAEL
NODE: NICKELODEON ALL-STARS/RISE OF THE TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES

"It seems that coming from a different Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon other than the 1987 cartoon is still a Ninja Turtle at heart!" Drake grinned.
"Indeed. In fact, it was Rise that gave Raphael the edge over Ken from Ehrgeiz!" Ashley nodded. "And the only Raphael that has been in a crossover Nickelodeon fighter, they…"
Suddenly, Drake's phone rang. Raising an eyebrow, he took out his phone and answered it.
"Hello? Oh, yeah, Tinyhammer. Is this a good time? We literally just started reintroducing the new fighters." Drake said. Then, something made his eyes bug out. "Oh really? Huh. Yeah, while it isn't immediately news, that IS interesting stuff to learn. Thanks, man! I will tell everyone."
With that, he hung up the phone.
"What is it, Drake?" Ashley asked, confused.
"Okay, get this. Literally when we are starting this recap after the first break, they have announced a SECOND Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl!" Drake pointed out.
Ashley's pupils shrank at this. "Wait, really?"
"Yeah, and as it turns out, they have confirmed four new characters: Squidward Tentacles, Jimmy Neutron AND the 1987 versions of Raphael AND Donatello." Drake noted.
"Wow, so THAT'S why Tinyhammer called." Ashley said in awe.
"Yeah, it is kinda hard for him to keep quiet about it." Drake noted.
Then, Drake's phone rang again. Looking at it, he raised an eyebrow before answering it.
"Hello?" Drake asked.
"Okay, I literally just found this out right now but even still, I don't think I would change my roster." Xero explained.
"Hey, no one is roasting you." Drake insisted.
"Yet." Ashley muttered. "But yeah, I don't think it could be helped."
"After all, while the 1987 version IS the most iconic version, I still want to show the OTHER TMNT cartoons." Xero explained.
"That makes sense." Drake nodded.
"What about you, Drake?" Xero asked. "What would YOU do if you decided to have a fourth Battle of the Luminaries?"
"Well, personally I want to just focus on the 1987 versions, not that I don't like the Rise versions, it is just that I cast Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl for two reasons." Drake said. "One: I felt bad for Nickelodeon for missing out on the Tournament of Kikai, despite that tournament being perfect for it."
"Yeah, even though I had my reasons, I regretted not giving Super Brawl Universe a chance in the first tournament seeing how well Luna Loud did." Xero sighed.
"Secondly, as much as I love the Nicktoons, I am more interested in them as a mascot platform fighter rather than celebrating their history if that makes sense." Drake shrugged.
"No, I get it and that's fair. You ARE more of a gaming fan than a cartoon fan so it makes sense that most of the fights are… Direct." Xero admitted. "Like, there is nothing wrong with how you did your tournament, I just prefer my style more."
"Of course you would." Ashley said, rolling his eyes. "Hey, nothing personal, Xero, but can we cut this short? Survivor segments are not this long to put it mildly."
"Yeah, sorry about that. As the OC of a cartoon fan, I couldn't resist, you know." Xero said. "Later."
With that, he hung up leaving Drake and Ashley with blank faces.
"...Calling Xero in the very first fighter reveal is one thing but having him call us in a recap for the RETURNING characters?" Ashley asked. "I don't think… ANYONE did that."
Drake smirked. "Looks like the tournament's chaotic nature is seeping into our recap show!"
Ashley groaned. "DON'T. Just don't."

Ashley blinked twice. "...Why is Rick talking? Let alone with an AUSTRALIAN accent?"
"Well, he could talk in Kirby: Right Back At Ya." Drake corrected.
"But that anime isn't canon, is it?" Ashley asked.
"You would think that." Drake said, rolling his eyes.
Ashley paused. "W-Wait? It IS canon?"
"Well, it is not officially but there is actually a lot of stuff from the anime that made it into games AFTER it." Drake corrected.
"R-Really?" Ashley asked. "Could you tell me all of it?"
"Well, quite a lot actually." Drake said. "Like the name of Metaknight's sword being called Galaxia, Kirby's 'Poyo' language, Dedede's castle AND the Halberd's designs, spear-wielding Waddle Dees. Hell, you know that buff Dedede meme?"
"How could I not? It is all anyone ever talked about when Star Allies came out!" Ashley said, rolling his eyes. His eyes then widened in realisation. "Wait, don't tell me…"
"Yep, that came from the anime as well!" Drake smirked.
"Woah… When you put it THAT way?" Ashley asked. He then paused. "But the Australian accent?"
"Because 4Kids is here." Drake said without missing a beat.
Ashley gave a bored look. "Fair enough."
"But as distracting his accent is, we still have to think about Rick's fighting capabilities." Drake said. "They are simple yet effective. He could breathe fire, turning into a boulder to roll forward, climb walls and even jump on people's heads like a standard platformer here."
"And if he decided to double-team with someone who could use any form of aquamancy or cryomancy, he could turn into a Curling Stone to dash forward with the element used to make him transform." Ashley explained. "Again, simple but it is enough to get the job done."
"That may be true. But he has one glaring weakness." Drake frowned.
"R-Really? What is it?" Ashley asked.
"If someone uses a move that forces their target to sleep on him, they would actually wake LATER!" Drake said, dramatically.
Ashley looked with a blank face. He then lowered his eyelids.
"...He is a heavy sleeper by nature." Ashley muttered.
"Yyyyyyep!" Drake grinned.
Ashley merely slinked into his seat.
"...Australian accent?" Ashley muttered.
TASMANIAN SHE-DEVIL

Drake and Ashley both blinked twice as the latter got back up.
"Umm… Why is Taz in a drag? And furthermore, why is he in drag?" Ashley asked.
"Maybe it is an Iori and Miss X kinda thing." Drake shrugged.
Then, Drake's phone went off. Ashley raised an eyebrow at this.
"This gotta be good." Ashley muttered as Drake answered the phone.
"Well, Xero? Is she her own character?" Drake asked.
"Believe it or not, she is Taz's WIFE!" Xero answered.
Ashley jumped. "Wait, TAZ got MARRIED!?"
"Yes, I am surprised too." Xero admitted. "They got married in Devil May Hare in 1954 and she appeared again three years later in Bedevilled Rabbit. Speaking of the latter cartoon, that is what World of Mayhem used for her design.
"So she really IS her own character in that game." Drake said in awe. "I just thought you accidentally put in a Palette Swap by mistake!"
"Um, why would you think that?" Xero asked.
"I'll give you a hint." Ashley said, rolling his eyes. "It starts with a Z and ends with an Ack."
"I DIDN'T FORGET HIM!" Xero roared. "Look, if you are going to be rude when I am literally doing YOUR job, then I don't need this!"
With that, he hung up, leaving Drake and Ashley to shake their heads.
"I mean he IS right." Drake admitted. "We can't let Xero call in and tell us everything about the more obscure cartoons."
"Yeah, you are right." Ashley sighed before taking his tablet and tapping on it a few times. "OH! Along with the aforementioned cartoons she was in, she was also in Back in Action, where she was disguised as Mr. Chairman's minion, Mr. Smith!"
"She also has three variants, Sea-Devil which is a pirate-themed skin, Sword Swallower which is a circus-themed skin and Warrior Princess which I think is based on Xena?" Drake asked.
Ashley blinked twice. "...I know that Xena has her own trope on TVTropes but is Xena truly relevant nowadays?"
"Hey, it is called WARRIOR PRINCESS, Xena's most used title." Drake reminded.
"Ahh…" Ashley said before frowning. "Look, I know that she is her own character but I doubt that she will do well."
"She definitely has a bigger hurdle compared to literally…" Drake admitted before shrugging. "Everyone else. But at the end of the day, she IS still part of the World of Mayhem and she deserves to be in the cast. Besides, World of Mayhem is arguably the biggest celebration of Looney Tunes of all time. It is only fair to include the really obscure ones. Hell, now that I think about it, she is arguably not THE most obscure character in the cast."
Ashley paused. "Also true…"
DR. SHEMP
NODE: SPYRO THE DRAGON
Drake narrowed his eyes. "I know that I literally just saw this guy, but he seems like someone who is full of hot air."
"Considering that Trondo, the elder dragon you freed before facing him, told him that he spent all of his time gloating over himself, you would be right." Ashley said, rolling his eyes.
"WHY? What does he have to be so arrogant about?" Drake asked. "He is a Spyro the Dragon 1 boss!"
"Indeed. He is just the series' answer to Papu Papu." Ashley nodded.
"Yeah, exactly!" Drake nodded. He then did a double take. "Wait, what?"
"I mean think about it! Heavyset, loud, shaman-like. He even fights with a giant staff with a big staff on it!" Ashley pointed out.
"Huh. I mean he is just as easy to beat." Drake said.
"He is. To be fair, he is well-protected from the front." Ashley said before rolling his eyes. "But attack his exposed backside at least once and he would start running for the hills, forcing Spyro to run after him."
"...I know that they are just starting out but how could Spyro the Dragon turn out such lame bosses?" Drake asked in disbelief. "It is not like the game isn't well-made, at least for its time."
Ashley merely shrugged. "Maybe they created the gameplay first and the bosses later?"
ROCKY
NODE: LOONEY TUNES
Drake blinked before narrowing his eyes.
"...Just kill me." He spat.
Ashley jumped at this. "W-What's wrong?"
Suddenly, the camera went to Barry who was looking stern for some reason.
"You're not getting out of this that easy." Barry scolded. "The boss wants a word with you too."
The camera then went to Rinky looking just as stern.
"You think you could come into MY territory? And take what's MINE!?" Rinky roared in an exaggerated high-pitched voice.
The camera then went back to Drake who now had a stupid grin on his face. "What!?"
He then started to laugh with the camera going back to Rinky, who looked confused and Barry, who looked like he was trying not to laugh.
"What? What's so funny?" Rinky asked.
"Y-Yeah, that's not… That's not funny, punk." Barry scolded, trying to keep a straight face.
Rinky narrowed his eyes. "Alright, you'll be sleeping with the fishies!"
"FISHIES!?"
The camera then went back to Drake, laughing again with Ashley giving a bored look.
"...I mean ProZD IS a talented person so he deserves a cameo at least." Ashley admitted with a shrug.
"I know, right!?" Drake laughed. "Seriously, how could I NOT talk about Rocky without thinking about that trope!? Like, the Anthill Mob, Mr. Big from Zootopia, the snail from Moonshine Mob in Cuphead. Why isn't there a trope about these types of characters?"
Ashley narrowed his eyes. "Don't underestimate Rocky. Out of all of Bugs' Rogue Gallery, he is the most competent."
"Perhaps, but that is like saying that he is the tallest dwarf." Drake said before wincing. "Oop, that one wasn't intentional! That saying got stuck into my brain thanks to the Heathers musical!"
Ashley shook his head before reading his tablet. "Aside from the usual guns mobsters from the Noir era wield, Rocky only has one variant… And that is the Prisoner variant?"
"...I mean to be fair, if Cody could make it work before Street Fighter V, why not him?" Drake shrugged.
"I could see that." Ashley said, taking a deep breath. "Rocky may be a Looney Tunes character but he is not one to get pushed around.
The camera went off, startling the two.
"Oh, it is time for the next Mystery Fighter!" Ashley beamed. "Just in time to end the first half of this recap!"
"Yeah!" Drake said before looking at the camera. "Just like in the recap show for the fourth Megamix Tournament, we will be cutting off the section in half by covering two thirds of the cast seeing that most are just returning characters, anyway!"
"Let's hope that this one is a big one."
GUMBALL
NODE: THE AMAZING WORLD OF GUMBALL
Drake's eyes lit up while Ashley blinked twice.
"Now THAT is how to end a section recap!" Drake grinned.
"Oh, I definitely heard of Gumball." Ashley admitted. "However, I think around the time his show Tinyhammer either stopped watching cartoons, it came out around the dark era of cartoons or both."
"Well, in THAT case, let's not waste any time and go to Barry and Rinky!" Drake smirked. "Boys, it is up to you!"
The camera then went to a grinning Barry as Rinky hummed the theme to Gumball.
"Leave it to us!" Barry reassured before looking at the camera. "The Amazing World of Gumball is the first commission from Turner Broadcasting's Cartoon Network Development Studio Europe, created by Ben Bocquelet."
"It is a Slice of Life cartoon about a twelve-year-old blue cat boy named Gumball Watterson. He lives with his go-getter mother, Nicole, pink rabbit bumbling dad, Richard, little sister, Anais and his pet turned family member adopted brother, Darwin." Rinky said before smirking. "Confused by the last part? Trust me. That is arguably one of the more MUNDANE things about this show."
"Indeed, the show… For better or for worse, is totally BONKERS! For starters, the amount of characters are varied. By that, let's talk about some of Gumball's classmates. We have a peanut with antlers, an eyeball with wings, a balloon with a face drawn onto it and even a T-Rex. None of these are anthropomorphic, by the way." Barry said.
"Even the art style is wacky! Sure, it may not seem that off with the Watterson hand-drawn and the locations and background being realistic." Rinky said. "HOWEVER, nearly EVERYONE else is drawn in a different style. Some are in 3D and some aren't even drawn at all. Some are realistic pictures put into the show!"
"The show started small. Sure, there weren't many haters but it didn't have much of a fanbase in the first season. However, that changed for the better when Gumball finally found its footing as a fast-paced, highly meta and heavily satirical comedy that often weaponized its conflicting art style!" Barry smiled. "It is even compared to the Cartoon Network version of South Park. While maybe not THAT vulgar."
"It is not but it is still known for its raunchy and morbid. There was even a dead baby joke." Rinky said before wincing. "Yeah, needless to say, that got changed."
Barry winced as well. "Ugh, anyway, the first season only had a reasonable eighteen episodes but when it got more seasons, they became TWENTY episodes. It spawned six seasons as well as a spin-off mini-series starring Darwin. It was supposed to get a seventh season AND its own movie but it got scrapped."
"Regardless, it still ended up with a lot of influence. Hell, one could even compare its success to SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS itself!" Rinky grinned. "Back to you, guys!"
The camera then went to a stunned Ashley. "Wow, no wonder Xero and Maurice invited him."
"Yeah, because it is clear that they saw his status as a cartoon first and a fighter later." Drake frowned, looking at his tablet.
Ashley frowned. "Ah, the Amazing World of Gumball isn't known for its fights."
"Actually, they are." Drake corrected.
Ashley jumped at this. "Wait, what?"
"Yeah, even Nicole is compared to being a Super Saiyan." Drake nodded. "The problem is Gumball doesn't have that. He mostly has his quick wits and sharp tongue."
Ashley scratched the side of his head. "...I mean to be fair, you could say that about Penny."
Drake smirked. "Ha! True dat! True dat!"
"Also, if his cartoon IS as chaotic as Barry and Rinky describes, he should feel right at home." Ashley said, rolling his eyes.
"Hah! Also true!" Drake laughed.
