The camera then turned into Drake and Ashley as always. However, instead of smiling, they both looked worried as the former talked on his phone.
"That bad, huh?" Drake frowned.
"Yeah, he actually had to step out of the Announcer's Booth to mouth." Maurice's voice sighed.
"Well, while I do feel a little sorry for him, my sympathy is more with the actual victims." Ashley said, shaking his head.
"I know that. Hell, HE knows that." Maurice said. "Look, I know that this is hard to believe after all of the crap he did in the last tournament but he DOES have standards. He didn't even put up much of a fight when he was told this."
Drake's pupils shrank. "R-Really?"
"Yeah… But obviously he looked like he wanted to." Maurice sighed again.
"Regardless, while I can't say I relate, there have been a lot of Nostalgia Critic memes when we wanted to use but couldn't because of… You know…" Drake frowned.
"Yeah, I kinda figured when Catherine scolded Wally for making a 'Of Course!' joke to a villain's plot to take over the world." Maurice said. "By the by, how are YOU two holding up?"
"H-Huh? Um, we are fine." Drake said, confused.
"No, I mean Monika told us that the Battle of the Luminaries broadcast has finally reached its third quarter." Maurice noted.
Drake and Ashley both paused at this before looking at each other.
"It is fine. We both agreed that we have to deal with it being broadcasted for the multiverse to see, anyway." Drake offered.
"Still…" Maurice started.
"Maurice, we are fine. At least for now. Sure, it brings back painful memories but that's the thing." Drake said.
"Alright. Just remember. No one would fault you for wanting to duck out." The bull offered.
"Yeah, Barry and Rinky said the same thing when they offered to host in our place." Ashley reassured.
"Well, as long as you are alright. I will send Xero your regards." Maurice said.
"Alright, call you later." Drake sighed.
With that, he hung up. He and Ashley looked at the camera with sad looks.
"Welcome back. Sorry we didn't give you a bright welcome but it is kinda hard when something happens." Drake frowned.
"Basically, something in real life happened with Chuggaaconroy. We won't say what it is but basically we are going to try to refrain from using any references to his gaming channels or the old TheRunawayGuys channel." Ashley added.
"Which means that even Xero has no choice but to retire the 'Steve the Trooper' memes." Drake sighed. "As you can expect, he is NOT happy about it."
"I have waited so long for that accursed meme to die. But when it did, I didn't feel happy… Just sad." Ashley frowned.
Drake put his hand on Ashley's shoulder. "There, there… So yeah, because of this, all and all calls to the Announcer's Booth will be answered by Maurice and only Maurice. Maybe Monika but she could literally just come here in person."
"So yeah, we are going to avoid using Chuggaaconroy memes too." Ashley said.
"Ooh, and if you are wondering about two certain Pokemon, one of them is IN this section, at the end of the day, it is too little, too late to uninvite them. Especially since it is not THEIR fault that all of this happened." Drake said before sighing. "Still, it is going to be hard not to think about Chuggaaconroy."
"Yeah, it sucks." Ashley groaned.
Drake then took a deep breath before slapping his cheeks together.
"Come on… Even though it is hard not to think about… All of this, we have a recap show to do." Drake said.
"Especially since it is just as chaotic as ever. Especially with the Arena Split one." Ashley chuckled. "And we have a lot to cover. Especially since there are not only a lot of fighters but rather the scenarios they are involved in!"
"So let's get into it!" Drake nodded. "First off, we will start with Arena A! Other than that, the format will still be the same, starting with the fighters that have gotten an elimination but failed to survive the section."
E. HONDA
NODE: STREET FIGHTER
ENTERED IN: Section 3; Number 68
OVERALL ELIMINATIONS: 1
"Huh. Despite being the least popular out of the original eight World Warriors, it seems that E. Honda has more potential than we gave him credit for." Drake noted. "Not only did he get an elimination in the fourth Megamix Tournament and also one here."
"Granted, he didn't survive the section here just like the Megamix Tournament. But that doesn't make his elimination any less impressive." Ashley offered. "Especially since his elimination was against the leader of G.A.W., King of Fighters XV's own Antonov!"
"As expected we had a normal heavyweight with their respective strength, but that doesn't mean it wasn't fun to watch!" Drake grinned. "At one point, it looks like Antonov had the upper hand!"
"But Antonov heard the hard way that you can't put a sumo wrestler down for as long as E. Honda easily got up and finished him off with his classic Hundred-Hand Slap!" Ashley agreed. "Maybe he IS part of the World Warriors!"
IORI YAGAMI
NODE: KING OF FIGHTERS XV

GNASTY GNORC
NODE: SPYRO THE DRAGON
ENTERED IN: Section 3; Number 64
OVERALL ELIMINATIONS: 1
"Well, this is a first. Both Iori AND Gnasty Gnorc both managed to get an elimination despite not doing well in the previous together." Drake noted.
"Though it is really hard to talk about it without talking about something else." Ashley said, chuckling nervously.
"Fortunately, Iori and Gnasty Gnorc were actually fighting each other before joining that so we could find some ways to talk about it, even if we didn't see the individual fight." Drake offered.
"Basically, the two were fighting and Gnasty Gnorc knocked Iori into a larger fight. This, if it wasn't for the vision of Shulk from Super Smash Bros, the latter's ally would have been knocked out of the ring." Ashley said.
"HOWEVER, Iori kept insulting Gnasty Gnorc and seeing how sensitive he is to criticism, had enough and swung his club into Iori. This sent him flying into Shulk, knocking HIM out of the ring." Drake winced. "So basically, Shulk may have saved his ally, but didn't stop Iori from having an embarrassing elimination"
"There is a trope for that: In Spite of a Nail". Ashley sighed. "So anyway, Iori and Gnasty Gnorc joined the fight with the former joining Shulk's alliance at the time and the latter joining who they were fighting."
"However, Gnasty Gnorc showed that he wasn't just in the Spyro trilogy, Crash Team Racing: Nitro Fueled AND Crash on the Run." Drake pointed out. "He was also in a Hero's Tail where he could wield electromancy and could use it to zap Iori."
"So yeah, not exactly the best showing of Iori but hey, he DID get an elimination." Ashley shrugged. "AND Gnasty Gnorc managed to get an elimination despite being the WEAKEST of the trilogy villain trio, putting Spyro the Dragon on the board!"
MICHIGAN J. FROG
NODE: LOONEY TUNES: WORLD OF MAYHEM
ENTERED IN: Section 3; Number 74
OVERALL ELIMINATIONS: 1
Drake smirked as Ashley paused.
"Well…" Drake said.
"IF THIS TOURNAMENT WANTS TO SPAM CARTOON REFERENCES AND MEMES, FINE! BUT HAS XERO'S INFLUENCE OF THE TOURNAMENT INFECTED IT SO MUCH THAT IT CAN'T HAVE THEM NATURALLY WITH EVERYONE LOOKING LIKE AN IDIOT!?"
Drake jumped as Ashley started to pant heavily.
"...There's the Ashley breakdown." Drake muttered.
"Michigan J. Frog may not be the most popular Looney Tune but he is STILL notable! Everyone else should know better!" Ashley scolded.
"...On the flip side, Pyra and Mythra from Super Smash Bros seemed to be fully in-character?" Drake said with a sheepish grin.
Ashley slapped his forehead. "Okay, context time. Pyra & Mythra were in the same alliance of Shulk and later Iori. However, they, or rather Mythra, kept getting distracted by Michigan's singing. Which, you know what? Valid!"
"Hoo boy…" Drake said, rolling his eyes.
"Mythra got so frustrated that she ended up getting SOMEONE ELSE eliminated? Also fine. It is in-character for her. Especially if you played the Torna: the Golden Country DLC." Ashley said. "What I can't deny is that EVERYONE acted like Mythra just acted rashly for no reason, despite the fact that Michigan was NOT singing softly! How the hell did NOBODY notice him!? The arena!? The audience!?"
"Umm… Because it would fit Michigan's cartoon?" Drake asked.
"Oh, I LOVE how you pretty much admitted that Michigan has NOTHING going for him because that one schtick, despite unlike the people in that cartoon, everyone should know better!" Ashley growled before getting up. "Look, if you want to put in references in your tournament, fine! but you can't just lower… EVERYONE's intelligence to do so just because YOU can't find a more organic way of fighting for them! WE put in references in OUR tournament and yet we NEVER had to…"
When Ashley started to rant, Drake winced before making a pointing motion with his hand. Immediately, the camera turned towards Barry and Rinky who were looking with wide eyes. They then noticed that the cameras were on them.
"H-Huh? Oh! I think that this is the perfect time to tell you the other gimmick of the Arena Split!" Barry said, trying to grin.
"Instead of getting rewards and punishments from the wheel, the person picked would change the arena into their own!" Rinky grinned. "Just like the third Battle of the Luminaries!"
"However, UNLIKE that tournament, it will merge with ideas during each wheel pick after every five sections." Barry nodded. "Not unlike how Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale merged THEIR stages together!"
"The ONLY good thing about that game." Rinky said, rolling his eyes.
Barry chuckled nervously. "Anyway, we are telling you this because King Andrias is the first one to get his stage pick of Arena A. And of course, he chose his castle, complete with the core and its mechanical tentacles."
"Basically, Mythra was trying to chase after Michigan but they ended up being attacked by the tentacles." Rinky said. "They both managed to go around it."
"However, Pyra chose the worst time to transform as she tripped over Michigan, sending both her and Mythra out of the ring." Barry frowned.
"...Well, at least it is more THEIR fault than everyone else's?" Rinky said with a sheepish grin.
The camera then panned back to Drake massaging Ashley's shoulder who was STILL upset but mostly quieted then and his ranting turned into muttering.
"I thought we ended this when we stole the final fighter announcement from Xero and Maurice after they used us." Ashley muttered. "How many out-of-character moments do I have to endure with the only excuse anyone is going to give me 'Well, that is how it worked in the cartoon' even though this ISN'T a cartoon?"
"There, there. He is gone." Drake reassured. "But now we have to deal with the people who DID survive the section."
"Yeah, yeah…"
GARNET
NODE: MULTIVERSUS/STEVEN UNIVERSE
ENTERED IN: Section 1; Number 6
OVERALL ELIMINATIONS: 4
"Well, at least we are off to a positive start." Ashley smiled. "While barely through the skin of her gem teeth, she managed to pull out another elimination."
"Though one could argue that her fourth elimination isn't THAT impressive seeing that his elimination is Dante from Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale." Drake said, rolling his eyes.
Ashley glared at Drake. "Oh, come on. Dante's problem isn't that he isn't strong. He just puts himself on too high a pedestal."
"Well, that isn't inaccurate." The vampire said, rolling his eyes. "And Garnet thinks so too as she is calling out Dante's arrogance and impulsiveness."
"Unfortunately, the more Garnet tried to lecture Dante, the more angrier he got but Garnet kept it cool." Ashley said. "Ultimately, Dante tried to use his Smash Ball. However, Garnet sent up a star where he was standing and easily zoomed towards him and eliminated him before he had a chance to use it."
"Garnet may be losing a lot of steam as she barely survived the section. But she is still going strong." Drake smirked.
PATRICK STAR
NODE: NICKELODEON ALL-STARS/SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS
ENTERED IN: Section 2; Number 37
OVERALL ELIMINATIONS: 3
Drake's face fell. "Oh dear…"
"Of course I can't even get a break for… TWO fighters!?" Ashley groaned.
"For context, Patrick's fight with Mr. Frosty from Kirby has linked to the… 'fight' between Pyra & Mythra with Michigan." Drake sighed. "Things started normal enough for the former pair. Well, as normal as a stupid starfish who thinks that a cryomancer walrus is Santa Claus is."
"Then, Michigan hopped over to Mr. Frosty and…" Ashley said before pausing. "Apparently, Mr. Forest is a good singer?"
"Yeah, is that even allowed? Didn't Xero and Maurice ban musical performances?" Drake asked.
"Maybe the rule is only in effect for the ones that they ACTUALLY want to see." Ashley said, rolling his eyes.
"Okay, WOW. Maybe Rinky was upon something! I understand nobody wants to see Pete in a tutu and Oume dancing grossly, but that is just blatant bias and abuse of power on their part!" Drake snapped.
"This is the guy who rigged everything against one guy just because he eliminated the character… Oh, I am sorry, MEME." Ashley snarked. "Can you really put it past them to be biassed?"
"Ugh, let's just wrap this up before I start to go on a rant!" Drake groaned. "If that happens, we will NEVER make it to the Arena 2 fighters."
Ashley rolled his eyes. "Anyway, around the same time, Patrick and Mythra were holding blunt objects and they ended up hitting Mr. Frosty by mistake, making it easy for Patrick to eliminate him. And despite the tournament going through nothing but clumsy eliminations, everyone got mad at Mythra for this ONE particular one! I swear these guys only give a crap about these things unless it affects THEM."
Drake just let out a deep sigh.
SCRAT
NODE: ICE AGE
ENTERED IN: Section 3; Number 72
OVERALL ELIMINATIONS: 2
"So how do you feel about THESE eliminations?" Drake asked.
"I mean it is more forgivable because it feels more in-character for Scrat and the victims of his double-elimination, which are Hector from Looney Tunes: World of Mayhem and Rick from Kirby." Ashley nodded.
Drake nodded his head. "First things first, around this time, Scrat's double elimination came late in the section so two people had been chosen by the wheel. Rick and Pudding."
"So we have Whisps Woods and a circus along with the core's tentacles." Ashley explained. "This is important because Rick and Hector were trying to get rid of Scrat because he was too chaotic due to his one-track mind on his acorn."
"However, Scrat is stronger than he looks. Dude literally fought off a bunch of prehistoric fish." Drake said. "So Rick and Hector decided to use the environment to help by having the latter throw Scrat at Whispy Woods while in his Iron Mutt outfit."
"Unfortunately, this ended up angering Whispy and sent a swarm of apples towards them which ended up getting chased by LIONS. The three had no choice but to retreat by going up on the diving board and diving into the pool below." Ashley said.
"However, so did the lions." Drake said before pausing. "...I didn't know lions could climb ladders?"
"Neither did I. But anyway, they ALL dove into the pool and then it…" Ashley said. "Exploded?"
"Okay, Monika, if you are listening, what did you fill the pool with?" Drake asked. "Pudding is a quirky little girl but I doubt that she would ask for a pool that is EXPLOSIVE."
As if on cue, Monika appeared behind them.
"I don't know." Monika shrugged.
While startled by her appearance, Ashley quickly regained his composure. "But didn't YOU make the pool?"
"Yeah, but at the same time, I didn't anticipate that it would be filled by the lions." Monika explained. "I may be considered on the same level as a god, but even gods have their blind spots."
"Considering this tournament, I do not blame you." Ashley sighed, shaking his head.
"Well, thanks for the opening for a cameo, anyway." Monika smiled. "See you later!"
With that, she glitched out of the studio. The two then looked at each other and shrugged.
"So anyway, Rick, Hector and Scrat were just hovering in midair. But then, Scrat saw him acorn and bounded on top of Rick and Hector's heads to get back to the arena to get it." Drake nodded. "Because he was the last one to touch them, it counted as a double-elimination."
"Yep… That sounds like a Scrat elimination for ME." Ashley muttered, rolling his eyes.

"Huh. Only one fighter skipped this time around?" Drake asked.
"Then again, as chaotic as this section has been, at the end of it, there ARE only twenty fighters per arena." Ashley reminded.
"Still, to end up covering THREE of the top four at once?" Drake asked in disbelief.
"Why not? Carver and Blunny did back-to-back for not only Snoopy, Garfield and Scooby in the third Battle of the Luminaries but also the latter two with Guy in the FOLLOWING section." Ashley smirked.
"Also true. First things first, Michigan's fate. Basically, after going back to a normal frog and going back into his box, Ike threw him into the elimination portal." Drake said.
"Because he apparently can't do anything else but make everyone lose their intelligence and one particular person lose their sanity." Ashley muttered.
"Cool it…" Drake sighed. "Anyway, Ike may have lost his allies of Shulk, Pyra & Mythra and Iori but gained ,Garnet, Pudding and Willow the Treecko as allies against King Andrias from Disney Television Animation All-Stars and Gnasty Gnorc from Spyro the Dragon."
"As evident by Gnasty Gnorc's elimination of Iori, the Big Bad Guy team-up gave them a lot of trouble regardless." Ashley sighed. "So Pudding had the right idea for her and Willow to go into the cannon and shoot it to help Garnet with Gnasty Gnorc."
"Unfortunately, Pudding's aim was a little off and they ended up knocking Shun'ei from King of Fighters XV and Francisca from Kirby out of the ring." Drake frowned. "Maybe Pudding should get some cannon aiming lessons from the Pyro."
"Yeah, no, who knows what they would teach her?" Ashley said, rolling his eyes. "Unfortunately, that wasn't the ONLY clumsy elimination Pudding did for this section as her Ribbon Pudding Ring Inferno went astray and hit E. Honda from Street Fighter just as the latter eliminated Antonov."
"On one hand, Pudding has the potential to make up for this in the next section, especially since she is tied with Treecko for the top slot of Arena A." Drake said before sighing. "On the OTHER hand, what a way to put Tokyo Mew Mew on the board."
"Not helping was that Andrias and Gnasty Gnorc not only had the high ground but they were going to perform a Limit Break." Ashley frowned.
"Fortunately, the alliance was going to go down without a fight! When the Big Guys' Limit Break created a barrier, Treecko kept using his abilities to distract the two and keep them at bay." Drake said. "On one hand, it didn't do much. At least in terms of ACTUAL damage."
"Yes, while Pudding didn't have a good start in terms of actual eliminations, she more or less redeemed herself by performing a successful Pudding Ring Inferno on the two, giving them enough time for her and Ike to knock them out of the ring!" Ashley beamed.
"Also, both Treecko and Pudding were tied for the top slot. So we have one previous story-related character and a current one in the top two." Drake noted.
"And even after ALL of that, we still have Arena 2 to go over!" Ashley nodded.
"Then let's not dilly-dally and do it from the top!" Drake smirked. "Or in this case, the bottom!"

"Andddddd we are going starting with chaotic eliminations." Ashley said, shaking his head.
Drake chuckled nervously. "Okay, for the contest, just like with Arena A, Arena 2 ALSO had the stage choice wheel and it landed on Tron from Kingdom Hearts. And of course it is based on Space Paranoids, complete with three light cycles. So we SHOULD have seen some high-speed matches."
"...Except Launchpad was in Arena 2 so of course he tried to ride them. And he does what he does best…" Ashley muttered. "Crash."
"The first cycle he crashed right into the very person who requested the stage choice, Tron." Drake frowned. "So Launchpad got onto the second one and he crashed THAT one too. This time, into Wolf. While the latter wasn't eliminated, he DID crash into Garbodor from Pokemon."
"And of course, he just HAVE to invoke the Rule of Three surprisingly, not managing to get ANYONE eliminating that." Ashley muttered.
"Nooo! Do you know how cool it could had been if we had at least ONE proper lightcycle battle?" Drake groaned.
"Not helping is not as infuriating as with Michigan, Launchpad doesn't seem like the type to greedily hog ALL three of the lightcycles…" Ashley frowned.
"Whyyyyyyyyyy!? N-N-No lightcycles…" Drake whined.
"There, there…" Ashley said, rolling his eyes. "At least we could talk about the OTHER stage change with…"
PERRY THE PLATYPUS

"...Perry's stage change!" Ashley grinned.
Drake seemed to brighten up a bit. "Yeah. Though unlike the rest, Perry didn't request a particular stage change. He merely wanted every so often, the lights would go off."
"As expected from a spy, he decided to use that among other spy skills against Gumball from the Amazing World of Gumball!" Ashley grinned. "However, the cat did not go through a history of weird stuff just to be taken down so easily."
"Indeed. Gumball fought back with his own unique skills, including his weird vacuum weapon from Cartoon Network: Battle Crashers!" Drake nodded. "Hell, he could have won over the platypus."
"But Perry was wise to choose his simple stage choice but it was more than enough for him to gain a second wind and eliminate Gumball!" Ashley smiled. "Though Perry wasn't able to stay in long enough to celebrate. But we will cover that soon enough. For now, Perry still did well for his first UVR run. Now onto the survivors of Arena 2."
SHINGO YABUKI
NODE: KING OF FIGHTERS XV
ENTERED IN: Section 3; Number 69
OVERALL ELIMINATIONS: 1
"Well, well, well! First UVR tournament after so long and Shingo manages to make a big splash!" Drake grinned.
"Well, big splash is a bit of an understatement seeing that he barely survived the section but still, that is way more than his idol, Kyo did in recent times!" Ashley nodded.
"And it is not like he had it easy because he had to deal with Wolf from Super Smash Bros, someone who is determined to make up for HIS poor showing in the last Tournament of Kikai!" Drake grinned. "The two then continued on with Shingo's version of the Kusanagi fighting style and Wolf's brutal skills."
"In the end, Shingo had managed to get good with his iconic Shingo Kick which stunned Wolf long enough to give him a good beatdown." Ashley nodded. "Not enough to take him down for good but enough to stun Wolf long enough to throw him out of the ring."
"Between Shingo and Iori both getting an elimination, Kyo has more on his plate when he eventually enters." Drake said.
"But Iori didn't eliminate Shulk by choice. He was literally knocked into him." Ashley corrected.
Drake glared at Ashley. "Don't be a wiseass!"
PENNY PROUD
NODE: DISNEY TELEVISION ANIMATIONS ALL-STARS/THE PROUD FAMILY

Drake looked worried. "...I knew that Penny was a polarising winner and she didn't exactly enter the first Tournament of Kikai swinging, I would expect her to do better than barely survive the section."
"Yeahhhh… About that." Ashley said, reading the results on his tablet. "Apparently, she, and Shingo for that matter, have both gotten 9:5."
"So?" Drake asked.
"The top 4 are tied with 10:4." Ashley elaborated.
Drake's eyes widened at this. "Really?"
"Really? Penny was one vote away from being eliminated but one vote away from getting the top slot." Ashley said.
Drake gave a descending whistle. "I guess having an arena of twenty people makes things close, right?"
"Um, not exactly. Treecko and Pudding got 12:2 while Iori, Gnasty Gnorc and Michigan got 8:6." Ashley added.
"Woah… So competition was just really tight for Arena 2." Drake noted.
"Indeed. But while that IS an interesting thing to talk about, that is not the main focus here." Ashley corrected.
Drake nodded his head. "That is right. Penny is up against Jack O'Lantern from the Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy! And while it isn't Halloween, Jack is intending to make up for it!"
"Indeed! Jack has Penny on the rope with a series of… Pranks like a tickling feather and a slingshot." Ashley said, trailing off.
"Well, he IS a prankster." Drake said, matter-of-factly. "But Penny got her own niche tricks like her wrestling headlock."
"Soon, Jack realised that Penny's win wasn't a fluke and tried to throw a pumpkin bomb at her but Penny thought quickly and ran towards a barrel." Ashley smirked. "She then got up top of it and rolled it towards Jack, steamrolling him out of the ring!"
"Penny didn't start out swinging, but she has shown that she is just as resourceful as she was in the first tournament!" Drake grinned.
"Also, you may be wondering? Wait… If Perry simply asked for the lights to go out, then where did the barrel come from?" Ashley asked. "There are no barrels in Tron, is there? Well, that is because the barrel is actually from the opponent of…"

"Mewtwo, Penny's friend and friendly rival!" Ashley beamed. "What's THAT for a transition?"
"Very nice one, man!" Drake grinned, giving a thumbs-up. "However, while the barrel DID from Mewtwo's stage choice, the wheel technically landed on PENNY."
"For context, you know how much Penny loves hip-hop? Well, she actually chose the stage of HUGO from Final Fight. Particularly Hugo's stage from Street Fighter III: 2nd Impact." Ashley added. "She even had Bottoms Up playing in the background for the majority of the section."
"Not surprised that she is a fan of Street Fighter III music." Drake chuckled. "But we are getting sidetracked again. Onto the fight between Mewtwo and Hugo."
"Now in case you forget, Mewtwo STILL had his psychic moves disabled so he couldn't use any STAB moves." Ashley reminded. "Not helping is that Hugo hits harder than he looks."
"But Mewtwo is durable even WITHOUT STAB moves, using his various moves like Ancient Power." Drake noted.
"What REALLY turns the tide is Mewtwo's Ice Punch." Ashley said. "Now the attack has decent attack power but it is nothing Hugo couldn't take."
"However, there is a 10% chance to freeze. Sure, it is a low chance but it CAN happen and HOO BOY, is it annoying when it happens!" Drake winced.
"It wouldn't be so annoying if you stocked up on Freeze Heals and other status curing items like I do." Ashley said, smugly.
Drake growled before glaring at Ashley. "Anywayyyyy, Hugo obviously doesn't have Freeze Heals and even if he did, he couldn't use it on himself while frozen so it was easy pickings for Mewtwo to eliminate him."
LILY

Drake's eyes lit up. "Well, THIS is a pleasant surprise! I thought that the newcomers of 6 would have a harder time getting an elimination but here Lily is in a four-way tie for the TOP spot."
"Yes, the only reason she hasn't gotten a second elimination was because of her early draw in the section." Ashley nodded. "Still, that doesn't make it any less impressive."
"Especially since her elimination was against one of the two remaining Section One fighters, Launchpad from Disney Television Animation All-Stars." Drake grinned. "We even get a cute reference to T. Hawk's performance in the first Megamix Tournament. Makes sense because Launchpad's nodal companion, the Liquidator was not only in the same tournament but the same section."
"It is inevitable to keep talking about the bigger references, but it is the little things like this that make things worthwhile." Ashley nodded.
"The battle was short and sweet with Lily using her twin pogamoggans and aeromancy while Launchpad used the scrapped parts from the lightcycles he totaled and improvised weapons." Drake grinned.
"Of course the guy who crashed any and all vehicles would know how to improvise and use scrapped parts of said crashes as weapons." Ashley muttered.
"Hey, at least you can't say that he is unable to turn a flaw into a strength." Drake said, chuckling nervously. "But in the end, Lily came out on top, not only for her node AND subnode but also her predecessor!"

"And if Pudding did well in this section, you could guarantee that her partner and friend, Chowder along with Kimchi, wouldn't be that far behind!" Drake smirked.
"Indeed! His first course of action was to avenge Gumball who eliminated Perry from Disney Television Animation All-Stars!" Ashley nodded. "Granted, with a bit of a cheap shot, but I guess revenge isn't always fair."
"What IS a good fair fight was his one with Django from Ehgeriz!" Drake pointed out.
"Fair fight?" Ashley asked, raising an eyebrow. "Chowder literally spent most of it running in fear from it!"
Drake chuckled nervously. "Hey, even though Django isn't THE true Final Boss, technically he IS still a Final Boss depending on how you think about it."
"Well, regardless, Django literally had Pudding on the run the entire time. Until Kimchi covered Django in the face with his… Fart cloudiness." Ashley said, grunting in disgust. "I somehow think that a canine by any other colour still has sensitive smelling."
"Chowder took advantage of this by using a burp and Kimchi to overwhelm Django, making it easy pickings for him to inhale him and spit him out of the ring like Kirby with a star!" Drake grinned.

Ashley raised an eyebrow. "While not as surprising as Lily, I did not expect the Panda King to be in the four-way tie."
"Especially seeing how poorly the node did outside of the main trio and Carmelita." Drake added. He then brightened up. "Maybe it is a good omen!"
"Let's hope so! But for now, let's focus on the present!" Ashley beamed. "First off against his fellow bear, Bark the Polarbear from Sonic the Hedgehog!"
"A pyromancer panda against a polar bear. A simple yet brilliant match-up!" Drake grinned. "As expected, the two used their respective bear strength against each other!"
"However, Panda King had a more defined moveset than Bark and used that to overwhelm Bark and send him out of the ring with a Fiery Wheel!" Ashley nodded.
"His next opponent was Temjin from Art of Fighting and just like Bark, it was a classic test of strength, despite the size difference going against Temjin." Drake said. "But again, the Panda King had more defined moves and used them to great use against him!"
"Maybe Sly Cooper has a chance to do better after all! The Panda King definitely did better than in the last tournament!" Ashley beamed.

"Yeah, missing the last tournament, she was determined to make up for the lost time and make up she did!" Drake grinned.
"First off, she was fighting Oatchi from Pikmin 4 and while the poor doggo was still going from culture shock from being transported in a fighting tournament against his will." Ashley noted. "He has demonstrated how reliable he was with not only his physical capabilities but also how much he has a Pikmin commander just like the Hocotatians!"
"Though Ariel is no slouch with her father's trident, various magic potions and even her bubble trapping ability from that obscure NES game!" Drake grinned. He then chuckled nervously. "But in the end, she promptly defeats Oatchi… By using her trident like a stick and tricking him into leaping out of the arena."
"Just like I said with Django, a canine of any other colour." Ashley said, rolling his eyes. "But at least she is able to eliminate Oatchi without hurting the poor dog. He has already gone through enough."
"Next up was Big Band from Skullgirls and hoo boy, talk about an explosive finish THAT fight was!" Drake grinned. "Unsurprisingly, Big Band gave Ariel a lot of trouble with his super-strength AND super-toughness!"
"However, Ariel showed off a new skill that hadn't been used in the first Tournament of Kikai, an ability from a tie-in game, Pacman: Ralph breaks the maze which was supposed to advertise for Ralph Breaks the Internet!" Ashley smiled.
"And what does she do? She plays a saxophone which traps her opponents in a bubble, turning them blue!" Drake grinned. "Which she does to Big Band!"
"Defeating a jazz musician with a saxophone-based move." Ashley mused, rubbing his chin. "I couldn't think of a more fitting way to finish off Big Band!"
"So technically speaking, Ariel got the top slot for Arena 2, despite being in a four-way tie for it." Drake nodded. "So we say goodbye to Launchpad, Rick, Gumball, Garbodor, Antonov, Wolf, Andrias, Iori, Gnasty Gnorc, Perry. E. Honda and Michigan."
"And welcome Lily, Pudding, Chowder, Ike, Treecko, the Panda King, Ariel, Shingo, Scrat and Penny." Ashley smiled. "Now onto the Safe Zone Results
With that, the camera went dark. Soon, crystal balls glowed, barely showing Cacey's form. Suddenly, both balls appeared before rising up and forming two walls.
"Good evening. If you have been here from the start, you may be wondering what is with the walls. Well, seeing the Safe Zone Challenge of this, I thought it was appropriate to put on a show." Cacey explained.
With that, she held up her hands, summoning a crystal ball in each hand. She then sent them to a wall each. This destroyed them both as it sent all of the crystal balls falling to the ground. Especially for three. Two of which were stuck together. The three then floated down with two on one side of Cacey and the last one on the other side.
"Due to the nature of the Arena Shift, there are also TWO voteforms for the Safe Zone along with the main tournament." Cacey explained. "Now, you may be wondering, why are there THREE crystal balls when there should only be TWO challengers? Well, it is rather simple."
The crystal ball pair on Cacey's side showed a green lizard and a blonde little girl.
"Treecko and Pudding Fong Ling were tied for the chance to enter the Safe Zone Challenge for Arena A." Cacey explained. "However, due to how friendly the two are, instead of going into a big fight about it, the two opted to have a duel of rock-paper-scissors over it. Fitting seeing Orange-Ratchet would select the winner with a coin flip."
Then, the orb that had Treecko's face flew up, showing that Pudding had won the duel. Meanwhile, the other orb showed a dark-skinned teenage girl.
"Next is the winner of the Tournament of Kikai herself, Penny Proud. It seems that while she barely survived being eliminated, people still acknowledge her as the winner." Cacey smiled. "Now onto the challenge.
Cacey then spread her arms.
"It is a simple one. It is a best two-out-of-three duel of Bust-A-Move." Cacey explained. She then frowned. "Um, I am obligated to tell you that it is the Bubble Bobble where you shoot coloured bubbles in a puzzle game and not Bust-A-Groove where you are literally having a dancing duel."
Cacey then looked to the side, annoyed.
"Okay, how many people would actually mistook Bubble Bobble for Bust-A-Groove?" Cacey asked.
"Eh." Drake's voice said.
Cacey rolled her glowing eyes. "Anywayyyyyy, the duel is self-explanatory except if you destroy extra bubbles, they would be added to the opponent's side. Each girl won a round each and in the tiebreaker round, there is a gimmick called Bomb Bubbles which is from Bust-A-Move Bash for the Wii."
She then smirked.
"And as one would expect, bombs equals chaos, especially if one uses them correctly to add a lot of garbage bubbles to the opposing side." Cacey explained. "It was a hard fought match between the two of them!"
She then nodded as the orb that had Penny's face floated up away.
"But in the end, Pudding was the winner. She managed to win a trick to the VIP booth for her and her friends where they have luxuries." Cacey said. "Too bad for Penny, but at least she should be happy to know that people still voted for her to enter the Safe Zone. Now onto the stats."

"Well, it seems that the Arena Shift has helped a lot of the nodes here." Cacey smiled. "Street Fighter, Spyro the Dragon and Tokyo Mew Mew are on the board, the Panda King, Chowder and Scrat have overtaken their respective node MVPs and we even see some ties in King of Fighters, Super Smash Bros and Kingdom Hearts."
Cacey then frowned.
"Which makes it more noticeable for Sonic the Hedgehog, Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale, the Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy and Tom and Jerry: War of the Whiskers." Cacey lamented.
She then brightened up.
"But fortunately, the next section's fate should help them catch up." She said. "First off, as Ashley explained earlier, while Treecko and Ariel both got the top slot, the former had the better score so naturally the mystery envelope choice went to him.
She then held up four crystal balls.
"The choices are 'You're the Boss', 'Mystery Reserves', 'Big Guy Blocker' and 'Monika's Choice'." Cacey explained. "Needless to say, after a chaotic section, Treecko opted for a more simpler round and chose the Big Guy Blocker."
She then smiled.
"The Big Guy Blocker is self-explanatory but I will explain what it does." Cacey said. "After a short break."
