"AAAUGH!" Vaggie screamed out, pounding her hand on a nearby counter top as Emeraldblade, joined by Angel Dust and Husk, looked on in shock.

The fallen angel had been ranting over the botched surprise attack since she and Emeraldblade had returned to the hotel.

"That fucking bitch! Our plan was fool proof," Vaggie continued to complain, "Yet she somehow knew we were coming."

"She saw you in the front row during the concert," Emeraldblade explained.

Vaggie glared at her furiously, "I know that!"

"Look, I know you're mad Vaggie, but you need to calm down."

"The girl's right babe," Angel Dust seconded, "You really need to take a goddamn chill pill."

"Calm down?!" Vaggie vented, "That slut just tricked us!"

"But we do have a clue to stopping her." Emeraldblade added.

Vaggie's frustration turned to confusion, as did the other demons standing nearby.

"Clue? What are you talking about?"

"During the concert, Verosika sang a song about how much she loathed some guy by the name of "Blitzo"," Emeraldblade pointed out, "Later when we confronted her, I noticed a tattoo on her shoulder with the same name: "Blitzo", only it was crossed out."

Vaggie stared blankly at her friend.

"Blitzo huh?" Husk piped up, "That name sounds oddly familiar."

"Well, whatever the case, it's our only lead." Vaggie added, "If you don't mind, could you spend the night trying to find any information about this "Blitzo" person?"

Husk huffed a sigh of disappointment.

"I'm going to be fucking wrecked in the morning, but if you insist, I'll oblige."

"Thank you Husk," Vaggie responded, "Let us know what you find in the morning. It's getting late, we better head off to bed."

"Agreed," Emeraldblade nodded, "See you all in the morning."

Everyone parted ways and retired for the night, all except for Husk who spent the night researching about any known sinner or demon in Hell that went by the name of "Blitzo".

The next morning, Emeraldblade descended into the lobby and made her way to the kitchen, there she was joined by Vaggie who was sitting at a nearby table, and Lucifer Morningstar, who was making breakfast for the two ladies.

"Something smells good," Emeraldblade said.

Lucifer turned around and smiled at the warrior, "I heard about the incident you and Vaggie had with Verosika, so I made the two of you some pancakes."

He handed Emeraldblade a plate containing a short stack of the delicious entrée.

"I do apologize for the fact that the surprise attack didn't go very well, so it's the least I could do to cheer you both up."

"Thanks Mr. Morningstar," Emeraldblade thanked the King of Hell.

"Please, call me Lucifer dear."

Emeraldblade walked over to the table where Vaggie was sitting at. She looked groggy from everything that had happened the previous day.

"How are you doing?" Emeraldblade asked.

"A little better," Vaggie mustered up the courage to speak, "It still pains me that succubi- I mean Verosika tricked us."

"Well, that's the least of our troubles," Emeraldblade replied, "We still have this demon duel to deal with."

"A demon duel?" Lucifer overheard the conversation, "Oh that's not good, what's the challenge?"

"A helicopter race," Vaggie answered, "Verosika wants us to meet her in Louisville, Kentucky one week from today; apparently some sort of airshow is being held there."

"Ah, Thunder Over Louisville, I remember that event," Lucifer said, "Lilith and I went there for one of our anniversaries a few years back. That place gets very loud I should warn you, with all the airplanes and stuff you know."

"Wait, who's Lilith?" Emeraldblade asked.

"She's my wife," Lucifer answered, "Although we've been estranged for some time now."

"What happened to her?" Emeraldblade asked.

"Not sure," Lucifer responded, "One day we were living together happily, the next day she leaves me."

Emeraldblade nodded, before turning back to her batch of pancakes.

"You better eat up hon," Vaggie told her friend.

Emeraldblade agreed with the fallen angel, and began cutting her pancakes into smaller slices.

A few minutes passed before Husk suddenly entered the kitchen, like Vaggie, he was all tired from having to pull an all-nighter helping his fellow co-worker and her colleague find this "Blitzo" person. He was carrying a thermos filled with what appeared to be a concoction of alcohol and coffee blended together.

"Rough night?" Emeraldblade commented.

"I feel like a piece of shit," Husk answered, "But fortunately I found the person you two are looking for."

Both Emeraldblade and Vaggie's eyes lit up.

"You did?" Emeraldblade asked.

"Of course," Husk answered, before pulling out an article that he pulled up from the browser on the hotel's laptop, "The guy you are looking for goes by the name of Blitzo Buckzo, and he's located in Imp City."

"Imp City? That's within this ring." Vaggie replied.

"Ring?" Emeraldblade asked.

"Hell's split into seven different rings, one for each of the seven deadly sins, we are located in the Pride Ring," Lucifer explained.

"Pride? Do you mean arrogance?" Emeraldblade mentioned.

"More or less," Lucifer replied.

Emeraldblade looked disgusted.

"I hate arrogance."

"So do I hon, so do I," Vaggie agreed.

"Ahem," Husk coughed, regaining everyone's attention. "As I was saying, Blitzo is located in Imp City, unfortunately that's the good news."

Vaggie became concerned.

"What's the bad news?"

"Take a look for yourself," Husk replied, showing the ladies the article in detail.

"It says here that he is the founder of a business called I.M.P, the Immediate… *gasp*… Murder Professionals?!" Emeraldblade realized.

"Wait, are you saying that the guy we are looking for is…an assassin?" Vaggie questioned her co-worker.

"Afraid so," Husk nodded.

Vaggie huffed in frustration, "I don't know what's worse, working with a bunch of murderers, or becoming a sex slave for my abusive old superior."

"I'm hesitate too," Emeraldblade replied, "But I.M.P's our only option, besides if it all works out, perhaps Blitzo could be of some help to our predicament."

"Agreed," Vaggie replied reluctantly, "But according to the site, the organization only takes up assassinations of humans on the living world, with few exceptions."

"Then perhaps you may want to "persuade" him in a different way," Lucifer piped up.

Vaggie and Emeraldblade then turned to the King of Hell, who gave them a reassuring but otherwise sinister smile, before winking directly at the two of them. Both of the girls then turned back at each other, wondering what he meant, before shrugging it off, deciding that they would figure out what he meant when the time came.

"Come on, let's get going," Vaggie told her friend.

Sometime later, Vaggie and Emeraldblade left for their day trip to Imp City. It took a few hours, but eventually they arrived in the town.

Imp City appeared to be in a much more run-down state than Pentagram City. The streets were lined with small, skinny demons, alongside ones that appeared to be homeless. Seeing these individuals made both women uncomfortable.

Nonetheless, the vehicle they were traveling in eventually pulled up in front of a high rise. From the outside, the building appeared to be in a better shape than many of the other structures surrounding the city. It was topped by two large horns that protruded from the sides.

Vaggie and Emeraldblade exited the car, and proceeded to the front entrance.

"According to the address provided by the advertisement, the headquarters for this business we're looking for is located on the seventh floor," Vaggie explained.

Emeraldblade nodded nervously, "I just hope they don't freak out when they see me."

"Don't worry hon," Vaggie comforted her friend, "If something goes awry, I've got your back."

Emeraldblade smiled; hearing those words made her breathe a sigh of relief.

The two took an elevator up to the seventh floor, before they emerged into a long hallway filled with various doors. Some had plagues on them indicating what company was headquartered there, others were blank, possibly being vacate. They walked down the hall, searching each door carefully. Eventually they found what they were looking for: a worn-out door with the words "I.M.P Headquarters" painted in large, black letters. Below the makeshift logo was a small, taped-on note reading "Meeting in Progress".

Both Vaggie and Emeraldblade turned to look at each other nervously.

"Well, wish us luck." Emeraldblade gulped.

At the same time this was occurring, in another room, adjacent to the entrance, four individuals were holding a conference inside a meeting room.

One appeared to be a short red imp with short white hair, a pair of long black-and-white horns on his head, a long thin tail with point at the end, black eyes with yellow sclera, and to cloved hooves. He wore a navy coat with a white shirt, a black turtleneck with a large red bowtie, and black pants.

A second member was female imp, she too was short in stature and had a round face with red skin, but with white patches on her arms and long, thin tail. She had short, black hair with a pair of short black-and-white horns on her head, black eyes with yellow sclera, long eyelashes and lipstick with a tiny beauty mark below one of her eyes, and cloved hooves. Her most notable feature was her teeth, which appeared to have a gap in between the incisors, which gave her an unsettling smile. She wore a black crop-top held by two yellow buttons, and a pair of ripped pants. There was a tattoo on her left shoulder that resembled a heart.

The third and most prominent member was taller than the previous two, he had a thinner figure with a heart-shaped head and two large black and white horns protruding from his head. His face was half red and half white, and there was a black skull symbol in the middle of his forehead. His eyes were red with yellow sclera. His arms were quite long, and his legs extended to a triangular point at the toes. He wore a gray trench coat with red buttons, black knee-high boots, fingerless gloves with yellow bell-like accessories, and a red skull-shaped charm around his neck.

The final member was quite unusual, being that she resembled a lycanthrope rather than a demon. She had white fur with grey highlights, long silver hair parted to one side, and white eyes with red sclera. She had black eyeliner with a black hoop earring. She wore a grey crop-top with thin spaghetti straps in the form of a pentagram, and a black spiked choker around her neck, with black tattered shorts.

"Alright listen up shitheads," the tall imp spoke to his posse, "Word 'round here is that a bunch of fleshys roaming in Hell; apparently they were spotted in Pentagram City."

"Pentagram City?" the female imp asked, grinding a knife on a horning steel, "I wonder why they're there."

The tall imp suddenly grabbed a smart phone from the hellhound's hands.

"Dad! What the hell do you think you're doing?" she demanded.

"Hang on Loony sweetie," the tall imp replied, "Daddy needs to show his employees a video, I promise 'll give it back to you when I'm done."

The hellhound huffed annoyingly, "Whatever."

He turned back to his crew as he pulled up a video from a new app.

"Now as you can see here on this news broadcast, it looks like they were-."

Suddenly, he overheard knocking.

"What the fuck was that?" he questioned.

"Sounds like someone's at the front door," the small male imp replied, "Maybe a client is looking to hire our services."

The tall imp became frustrated, "Can't they wait until after the meeting, god damn it!"

The knocking continued, before a muffled female voice called out "Blitzo", catching the tall imp's attention immediately, realizing it was his own name.

He then relented, "Moxxie could please get the door?"

The small imp nodded and got up from his chair, he then walked towards the entrance and proceeded to open the door. There, standing before him were two ladies, one of which Moxxie suddenly realized was a human, causing him to become concerned.

"Umm, pardon our interruption, but is Mr. Buckzo around?" Emeraldblade asked.

"Wh-what's a human like you doing a Hell?" Moxxie questioned somewhat nervously.

"Please, we need to speak to him about Verosika Mayday," Emeraldblade continued, "She kidnapped my friends."

Moxxie gulped.

"Hey M, who's at the door?" the tall imp's voice called out.

"Uhh, boss I think I found one of the humans you mentioned," Moxxie replied, "She has a friend with her too."

"Tell them to get lost," his boss responded back.

"B-but boss, they mentioned something about Verosika Mayday, and that she kidnapped some friends of theirs." Moxxie continued.

There was a moment of silence, before the tall imp's voice began to speak up again.

"Bring them in…" he commanded.

"Y-yes boss." Moxxie replied, before turning his attention back to the women, "Right this way you two."

Moxxie led Vaggie and Emeraldblade into the meeting room, where the two ladies came face to face with the rest of the organization.

"Okay, first of business," the tall imp stated, "Who the fuck are you? And how do you know about Verosika?"

Emeraldblade huffed, clearly annoyed by the rude introduction by the head of the organization, but nonetheless replied as politely as she could.

"I'm Lady Emeraldblade, and this here is Vaggie," she answered, "I was sent here to search for a "succubus" that was working for a powerful demon by the name of Nightmare, by all accounts, Verosika fit the description."

"Hmm…I see." The tall imp responded.

"She also knows where Charlie Morningstar is," Vaggie added.

"Wait, do you mean the Princess of Hell?" the small female imp asked.

Vaggie nodded, "She was kidnapped a while back after a golem attacked the hotel she runs."

"We located Verosika during one of her concerts at Pentagram City, but she ended up leading us into a trap, capturing several of our friends in the process and challenged us to demon duel," Emeraldblade continued.

"So, w-where do we come into play exactly?" Moxxie asked.

"We're searching for someone by the name of Blitzo Buckzo; I assume he knows something about Verosika, given the fact that she criticized him immensely during the concert, as well as the fact that I noticed she was wearing a tattoo of their name crossed out."

"Well, look no further, I'm Blitzo," the tall imp answered.

"Good, but who are the rest of your employees here?" Emeraldblade asked.

Blitzo huffed, "Well the one who greeted you at the door is Moxxie, and the other imp here is his wife Millie."

"What's up girlfriends!" Millie replied with a smile, showing the gap in her teeth.

"Dad, can I please have my phone back?" the hellhound in the corner asked Blitzo.

"Hold on Loony," Blitzo answered, "Oh and I almost forgot, this is my daughter Loona."

"Introductions aside, how exactly are you and Verosika related?" Vaggie asked.

Blitzo made a guilty look, "She's…my ex-girlfriend, we use to date years ago."

Both Vaggie and Emeraldblade were taken aback.

"Well that explains why she hates you so much," Emeraldblade said.

"Precisely," Blitzo added.

"What exactly happened?" Vaggie asked.

"I…made some really bad decisions on my end, stealing her car for joyrides, making her pay for hotel bills, the list goes on…" Blitzo explained.

Vaggie was already starting to have second thoughts on having Blitzo and his co-workers helping them out. But Emeraldblade, being the more patient and sympathetic of the duo, had other plans in mind and popped an important question.

"Look, given your rocky relationship with Verosika, and since Verosika is working for Nightmare, would you be willing to help us beat her in this demon duel and rescue our friends?" she asked.

Blitzo's eyes lit up.

"Help? Look girl, we may have a common enemy with Verosika in all, but why would we want to help a fleshy like you? Aren't you aware of who we are?"

"Yeah…we're assassins sweetie, we get paid to kill your kind." Millie explained.

"We do offer secondary services…f-for a price…" Moxxie noted.

Emeraldblade was caught off-guard by this "offer" I.M.P. was providing.

"Look, we don't have the money to pay for your services." Emeraldblade replied.

"Then beat it kid, you're wasting our FUCKING time!" Blitzo demanded angrily.

Emeraldblade became ashamed, and proceeded to leave the business, knowing that she and Vaggie were doomed to become sex slaves for eternity…until Nightmare brought about the end of the Universe.

"Come on Vaggie, let's go." She said, heartbroken.

Vaggie, who didn't like seeing her friend defeated in this predicament, felt a need to help her out. It was then that she realized what Lucifer meant when he advised the two women on an alternative to "persuade" Blitzo: intimidation.

"Now hold on just one moment mister," Vaggie berated Blitzo.

"What? Didn't you hear me? Leave or my employees and I will put you both in the ground." Blitzo replied angrily.

"Do you shitheads happen to know who Charlie's father is?" she countered, "The King of Hell, Lucifer Morningstar!"

Blitzo chuckled, "Yeah so? What are you going to do, get him to threaten us into finding his daughter?"

"Actually…yes." Vaggie countered with a smirk, causing Blitzo's smile to drop in concern.

"Oh boy…" he remarked.

"Charlie is the one thing that Lucifer holds dear to him, if he happens to learn that you refused to help us rescue her, then I'll notify him about how much of a problem you guys are," Vaggie noted, before coming up with a clever lie, "He may even have Heaven target you guys during the next annual extermination."

Moxxie and Millie were frightened by the prospect of being exterminated by exorcists, they had heard rumors that their weapons would be useless against the holy beings. Blitzo was too, but he knew that if he didn't act, he and his employees would be dead in the near future.

"So what's it going to be Blitzo? Help us find and rescue our friends as well as defeat your ex-girlfriend, or face Lucifer's wrath? It's your choice." Vaggie finished.

Blitzo gulped before taking a moment to think it out. Realizing that he would rather save his skin (as well as that of his daughter and his employee's), he huffed reluctantly and made his decision.

"You drive a hard bargain…okay bitch, we'll help you kick Verosika's ass and rescue your friends." Blitzo answered reluctantly.

"Good," Vaggie replied back, "And if it you do your part, I promise you I'll talk to Lucifer and have him pay you handsomely for your help."

Hearing her defend her extensively, Emeraldblade was elated that Vaggie would risk telling off the assassins to help them in their cause.

"Thanks Vaggie," Emeraldblade smiled.

"Anytime hon," she replied, before turning back to I.M.P, "Now if you all don't mind, follow us back to the Hazbin Hotel, we need to discuss a plan…"

Again sorry for the late post, writer's block got me again.
