Chapter 5
"Ruby, Yang. You girls are playing with the big boys now," Xigbar sneered, his voice dripping with intimidation. He raised his hand, and a swarm of Nobodies materialized, their alien movements flowing unnervingly toward Sora and Riku.
The Keyblade wielders summoned their weapons in a flash of light, slashing at the creatures. But the Nobodies were relentless, their sheer numbers forcing the two back. Sorcerer Nobodies hovered nearby, casting shimmering barriers of magic that trapped Sora and Riku together.
"Sora! Riku!" Ruby yelled, her silver eyes wide with worry.
"Don't worry about them," Xigbar interrupted, stepping forward with a sly grin. "You two should really be worrying about yourselves. Let's see if a pair of rookie Huntresses can take on the Free Shooter!"
With a flourish, Xigbar summoned his arrow guns, their sleek, otherworldly design gleaming. He fired a rapid volley of glowing arrows that twisted and curved mid-air, relentlessly tracking Ruby and Yang.
Ruby ducked, her eyes scanning the attacks. "What kind of weapon is that?"
Yang slid to her side, narrowly avoiding a blast. "Whatever it is, it's seriously unfair!"
"They seem like some kind of submachine gun," Ruby noted, her tone surprisingly fascinated. "Firing magic arrows that bend and track targets. Kinda like a Needler from Halo!"
"HEY!" Donald shouted, his voice muffled from within the shimmering force field that held him captive. "Stop admiring his weapons and FIGHT!"
"Oops. Sorry!" Ruby giggled nervously, rubbing the back of her head.
Before they could react, Xigbar teleported, appearing upside-down above them, a wicked grin plastered across his face.
"Surprise!" he yelled, unleashing another barrage of shots.
Ruby reacted instantly, grabbing Yang's arm. Her semblance activated, transforming her into a whirlwind of rose petals that whisked them both to safety.
They reappeared several feet away, but Xigbar was already there, his teleportation keeping him one step ahead.
"So," he mocked, his voice dripping with smugness, "you girls gonna keep running, or are you finally ready to fight?"
Yang clenched her fists, her mechanical arm whirring as she cracked her knuckles against her human hand.
"I'll show you what I'm capable of!" she yelled, launching a series of fiery shotgun blasts from Ember Celica.
Xigbar teleported effortlessly, dodging the attacks with uncanny speed. He reappeared in a flash, circling them while firing another hail of arrows.
Yang raised her arms to shield herself, her aura flickering as it absorbed the impacts. Ruby spun Crescent Rose in a defensive flourish, deflecting several arrows, though a few slipped past her guard, striking her and causing her aura to pulse.
"Well well. To much of a challenge for you two? Makes sense. you two are quite young and don't have the most amount of experience." Xig taunts.
Yang clenches her teeth and fists as she quickly gets up and throws a surprise punch with her robot arm, punching his face and knocking him back quite a distance as he falls and hist the smooth floor.
He gets back up and dusts himself off.
"Heh! That was a good hit and actually hurt. However it won't be enough." He responds gaining his guns are running around spamming many magic arrows as they swarm Ruby and Yang, the two do thier best to avoid and block the damage but the pain on the aura is overwhelming gaining it to be flashing red to indicate danger.
However the flurry of arrows seems to have ended with the girls worn out and exhausted, however they look over as Xigbar holds his guns together as he charges up a massive blast of damage.
Sora looks over and sees Ruby and Yang in danger, however is unable to move thanks to the sorrcers nobodies teleconises.
Just then he gets an idea.
"Goofy! Lend me your strength!"
Goofy from behind the force field nods as he turns into a ball of light, quickly entering Sora as he breaks the magic bind with light blinding the nobodies.
Even Xigbar is caught off guard and looks over with his one good eye.
Sora then emerges wearing a red outfit with saint spades over his pants, and wielding not one but two keyblades!
The Star Seeker, being a blue keyblade with a yellow star at the end.
And the Decisive Pumpkin, a festive themed keyblade from Halloween and Christmas town.
Sora runs and slashes at the nobodies instantly defeating them.
The freeshooter turns his attention back to Ruby and Yang as he finishes powering up his attack and blasting it towards them.
Sora however jumps over and deflects the blast thanks to he two keyblades.
He gives them a quick spin and points the festive keyblades towards the enemy.
"I will make you pay for harming them!" Sora says being more serious then usual.
"Oh wow! Roxas is showing his teeth now huh?"
Sora gasps as he hears the name having flashbacks to his fight with his nobody.
"RNN! Enough! Let's finish this!" Sora says holding the keyblades in an offensive position.
Xigbar smiles as he teleports and starts blasting once more at Sora.
However as the arrows come at him from all sides he lifts up the Star Seeker and deflects the magic round, then behind him deflects with the Decisive Pumpkin.
Then going into real time he spins his keyblades all around him blocking every arrow that attempts to hit him.
Ruby and Yang look upward in awe, impressed by his accuracy and and reflexes.
Even Xigbar's once cocky smile turns into a worried look.
"What the? I'm shooting at him with everything I got! Yet he is deflecting it all! What is this kid? No matter! I won't let some kid get the best of me!" Xig yells jumping towards him blasting more rounds, with Sora continuing to deflect the attacks and even in slow motion slice one of them in half.
Then he dashes forward swinging the Star Seeker attempting to hit him but quickly teleports away.
Sora looks around scanning for where he would be.
Just then as the villain reappears behind him in a second Sora turns around swinging with his other hand knocking him down.
Then just as he attempts to get back up, Sora already closes the distance swinging his two keyblades with speed and percsition.
The impacts of the blades are nothing like what the Gunsliger had felt, each hit was fast yet heavy.
After many hits Sora jumps into the air, crossing his keyblades like and X and swinging outward and he lands the final blow on him knocking him backwards hitting the floor hard and defeated!
Ruby and Yang just stare in amazement, they had never seen someone this powerful before with this level of strength.
The summoned nobodies dissapear, freeing Riku and Donald with Goofy being brought back after Sora turns back to normal.
"You... Thank you Sora. You saved us." Ruby says blushing once more, feeling thankful for him saving them.
"Hehe! No problem. I'm glad I could help." Sora says becoming more cheery.
"HEH! You kids...You think you have won..." Xigbar struggles to say as he uses one of his guns to prop himself up.
"You. keyblade warriors are something else. The toughest enemies I have fought..."
"Wait.. You fought Keyblade weilders before? Their are more?" Yang asks.
"Hehe. Yep. I have fought three. One was named Terra.. Prettyboy, very strong and earth like... The second was Aqua. A powerful female warrior I can say that... And the third one I have killed..." Xig says with a smile.
"What!?" Riku asks clearly worried.
"Hehe. Yep... I hold that fight with pride.. The name however... Is my little secret... See ya later.." He says before falling backwards off the edge of the room.
Sora and the others rush over to see what happen to him, but when they look down they see he is gone!
"Why did he feel the need to mention the Keyblade Warriors? Was he implying something?" Sora asks very confused.
"Well whatever the case. We need to focus." Riku says offering his hand.
Sora grabs it pulling upward as they rush over to free their friends.
With Ruby and Yang freeing Blake and Weiss.
"UGG. What took you all so long? I would of thought you would of saved me sooner." Weiss says playfully using her uptight personality despite being gratful to be free.
"I'm so happy you two are safe. I thought we where separated again. But I'm happy that's not the case." Ruby says
"I am to. It felt terrible being away again. I'm happy we are together again." Blake chims in the team group hugging each other.
Meanwhile Sora and Riku reconnect with Kairi.
"Kairi! I'm glad you are safe! I have been looking all over for you and Riku! Now we are finally together at last... Felt like forever sense we got to be like this." Sora says.
"I agree... Thank you two. I'm happy as well." She says hugging her two friends.
"Oh Kairi. Meet Ruby and Yang. We found them in this world and we have helped them a ton." Sora says.
"It's nice to meet you two." Kairi says sheepishly.
"Hehe You to. Blake and Weiss meet Sora, Riku, Donald, and Goofy, they where a ton of help saving you guys." Yang says.
As the team where getting together a deep emotinaless voice spoke from a high ground.
"Ah... Friendship... Such a beautiful idea for those who can still feel."
The team look up and see a man in the same black leather coat, his skin was darker, his eyes yellow, and long hair spiky yet elegant.
"You! You're the leader of this Organaztion!" Riku yells.
"Yes indeed... My name is Xemnas... And you all have been working my plan to perfection."
"What? What do you mean?" Ruby asks.
"Team RWBY. You all where nothing more then tools for me... A way to test my new members... The replicas!" Xemnas exclaims as Marluxia, Larxeen, Zexion, Vexon, and Leaxeaus walk beside him.
Sora and Riku gasp, realizing Xemnas had brought back member from the dead in a way.
"RWBY had served the original role. But now it continues. For if you try to return them to their original world. Kingdom Hearts will have already been completed giving us Nobodies hearts again and the power so we can bridge worlds together! So whatever decision you all make... Make it worth it." Xemnas says as he and the members teleport away.
"This is not good. if we want to keep order we have to return them and if we do Kingdom Hearts will be completed." Sora says his mind racing on what to do.
"Hey. What if we just help? After all we have some unfinished fights!" Ruby says with her teammates noding readiing the weapons.
"Well.. Alright then. Thank you for helping us. When we defeat him we will get you all home as soon as we can!" Sora says.
"Thank you. We will do our best!" Ruby exclaims.
"I will come as well. I don't want anyone to get hurt because of me. And with my Keyblade. I can help now!" Kairi says summoning her Keyblade, Destany's embrace.
"Well. It's settled. Time to take down this Organazation together!" Riku yells with everyone getting their weapons out, ready for the epic battles to come!

To Someonecall4mrE So yes good oversight on Yang not being able to crack her knuckles. I forgot about that. Second. I will say this story takes place near the end of Kingdom Hearts 2. And during the story Sora actually gets the Sleeping Lion keyblade after beating all the worlds a second time and right before The Tron world. So just a heads up. As for Sora name-dropping Leon. I want to take some liberties with the story. To at least reference the Final Fantasy stuff. And even a little Disney. This is a FF Disney crossover. So might as well have some fun with it.
To Kaylamoon, I do think your ideas of Flashbacks are very cool and if it's a fanfic you're working on I say you're doing a great job. If they are to be implemented here. I don't have plans for that. This story takes place primarily in Kingdom Hearts 2, so Dream Drop Distance, Re Coded, and 3 will not be mentioned. But like I said. They are very well written and you did a good job on them.
