Diana was curious as a while ago many of the gods and goddesses came to see her mother even Hades was allowed to be in attendance, and a champion of valor was granted a small part of land on their island, in truth Amazons rarely went far on the island barring patrols, but this was a part that was barely used at all, Amazons did not have high opinions of MANY of the gods chosen, but when said person was even given such praise from the matron goddesses it was enough to settle the nerves of the Amazons greatly, the one issue they had was this champion was a man.

Diana ventured to the spot given to this champion, she saw him sitting ontop of a log cabin he built, a small clearing around his home, but what was odd were the animals, they seemed at peace being around his home as if it was a safe haven, Themiskyra was a place where many animals dwelled, all of them being provided by the gods or the gods chosen animals taking refugee there, none were harmed, but none were wasted either.

"Word of advice, if you're gonna sneak someplace, try to be in a person's blind spot." Naruto said having seen her immediately as Amazons wore mostly metal in their robes.

Diana in surprise threw a punch, he caught her fist easily enough and seemed bored.

"Straight forward and no continuation or follow through." Naruto said to her boredly "You'll have to fight harder and smarter than that." he said to her pushing her away.

Diana became angry at that comment and charged him.

(3 hours later)

"...Are you a god?" Diana asked in exhaustion surrounded by broken trees.

"No, but I defeated each of the gods in their own domains." Naruto said to her leaning on a tree.

Diana expected him to suffer the wrath of the gods, but none answered 'He defeated the gods, yet he's not one?' she thought to herself in surprise.

"If you want to be technical, I am the reincarnation of a demi god, I have godly powers and abilities, but I am still human." Naruto said to her simply.

Diana was at a loss for words as a reincarnation into a mortal, that meant he had less godly blood than a demi god and made him as equal to a mortal.

"As fun as this was, I have birds to feed." Naruto said walking away.

(next day)

Diana had received a scolding from her mother and told her what happened, she was just as taken back as she was.

Diana hated the fact that she lost…repeatedly, it was a blow to her warrior pride, she went to train wanting a rematch.

(few days later)

Diana was in the infirmary and saw many of her sisters wounded, many had heard of her loss to the 'guest' of the island, and even her mother was here, her mother queen in not only name but skill as well had challenged him and lost.

As more time went by every Amazon had suffered defeat by that man's hands, it was infuriating to them as they had been blessed and served the gods, but this man had gained his abilities on pure effort, it made many question their own skills and strength as they all sensed him to be telling the truth.

(1 month later)

"Aren't you tired of having your ass kicked?" Naruto asked Diana as she was on the ground covered in bruises.

In truth, the answer was no, Diana always strived to be the best, in many ways, she was amongst her sisters, but the person who stood before her was something she hadn't had in a long time, a challenge, he gave her a reason to improve and fight, he lit a fire in her.

Naruto smiled as out of all the amazons, Diana had the most potential, not because of details her birth or lineage, but because she had a kind spirit, it reminded him of how hard-headed he was as a kid.

(2 weeks later)

"You won't get very far if you don't eat and train plenty." Naruto said hiding his smirk as Diana tried to use chopsticks, he showed them to her when she challenged him in the middle of breakfast and soundly defeated her with them, after that she wanted to learn to use such a simple tool to gain the same mastery where she too could use it as a weapon.

Diana was struggling almost tempted to stab her chopsticks into her food, but that would mean surrendering and she hated that 'He makes these seem so easy.' she thought in annoyance as she wondered how he could beat her with a pair of sticks, it was humiliating to lose to something so simple.

"To a warrior anything is a weapon Diana nothing isn't when a warrior's greatest asset is their imagination." Naruto said almost able to read her mind 'I swear she really needs to work on hiding her intentions.' he thought as all the amazons were a bit simple-minded not really able to hide their intentions or thoughts, Diana was even easier with her short fuse.

(few days later)

Diana watched as instead of one on one, her sisters thought they could take Naruto on in a larger group, it was amazing how much faster they lost and how little Naruto had to do.

"When fighting a group it is easier when they are uncoordinated, amazons are used to fighting with each other as they share similar tactics, but force them all to act independently and they get in each other's way." Naruto said as the amazons certainly didn't know how to handle someone like him who was used to fighting overwhelming odds.

Diana felt slightly deflated as her sisters were strong, she wasn't bold enough to claim to be able to take multiple amazons on like that and as effectively as well.

(1 month later)

'Either she's dead or something happened.' Naruto thought almost thinking he should check on Diana, even if that provoked the amazons ire 'To be fair they constantly harass me every chance they get.' he thought to himself as they came here to challenge him no matter how many times he handed them their assess.

Naruto was brought out of his thoughts as he soon spotted the woman on his mind approaching him "Was starting to think I hurt you last time." he said jokingly, but saw the seriousness on her face "So what's on your mind?" he asked her.

"How…did you become so strong?" Diana asked as no matter how hard she tried she couldn't wrap her head around it, he seemed so passive and skilled, to be as strong as that he would have to face the stuff of legends, yet he was content with living a 'quiet' life right here, he was unlike her or her sisters who basked in glory and combat, she had been trying to understand him for a long time.

"It came from a place of need and desire." Naruto said to her "When I was born you could say I was marked for death." he said understating it mildly "People often feared me of this mark and others desired it as well, I was forced to survive on my own and when things started to get better was when I learned how badly the world can get." he said sadly, he lifted his shirt.

Diana raised a brow wondering if this was some sort of idea of showing off, but brushed that thought away, upon closer inspections she noticed his skin was lighter in certain area 'Scars.' she thought walking closer seeing certain outlines 'His heart and lung.' she thought in shock seeing similar scars and a few others.

"I did what I could for my friends, family, and home Diana, I see that same spark in you, you will go far, I just know it." Naruto said seeing her blush from his praise.

"You think…I can be like you?" Diana asked in both wonder and curiosity.

"No I think you can be better." Naruto said as he learned a long time ago that it was ok to look up to someone, but it made a truly strong person want to surpass them, he smiled seeing a new and brighter fire ignite in Diana's eyes.
