Chapter 68: Christmas comes to Equestria

It was the day before Christmas and the entire town of Ponyville was buzzing with excitement as word about the holiday Spyro told everyone was spreading like wildfire as everyone got some pine trees, spruce trees, basically any kind of tree that they could decorate, which the foals were excited for as he told them that the Twenty-fifth of December was Christmas Day and he didn't have the heart to tell the fillies and colts that he might not be able to make it, so he commissioned a suit from Rarity, describing what he needed. After it was complete, Spyro had to make sure to hide the suit from Apple Bloom and Scootaloo as they were usually the most curious ones and the ones that started spreading the information about Christmas, while both Rarity and Spyro had to keep the suit hidden from Sweetie belle as she lived in the boutique. The next difficult thing he needed to do was make notes on who has been good and whose been naughty, of course most of the foals in town have been good little boys and girls, with he exception of Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon, but every time he passed by her, he could sense something strange with her emotions, sensing that she had done a lot of mean things, but also fear as well.

He decided to do a little digging into it later, but right now he needed to get the next most difficult thing done, getting the toys for all the fillies and colts, which thankfully the fillies and colts all wrote their letters to Santa, thanks to Ms. Cheerilee, who he told what he wanted to do for the foals and was more than happy to help out with as it was something that made her students happy. After getting the letters, he immediately went to the local super mart to get everything, which was run by a business pony name Filthy Rich, hearing about him a few times from the Apples as a good guy who they give him some of their apple products and gives them a percentage of the profits and when Spyro got to meet him, he believed them as, despite his daughter, he was the polar opposite in some ways and was happy to help out, which he made a special request for him, not liking it, but he wanted Spyro to teach his daughter a serious lesson.

Spyro smiled and was more than happy to oblige, agreeing to the terms and was given a good discount for everything, which the next part was trying to move the presents as a cart full of toys and gifts tend to be noticed by a pair of wondering eyes, so he had to get a little creative and used the new spell the princess gave him to change they appearance to look like a cart of hay, which worked perfectly as none of the kids suspected a thing. Today he was hanging out by the school as today was a school day, even though where he comes from, the beginning of December was the final week of school until some time in the middle of January, waiting for them to come out for recess as it was one of the only free times they have between lessons. After a little while, the bell rung and the fillies went out to play in the snow, some building snow forts and getting ready to throw snowballs, some going to the playground to go onto the swings and others went to the jungle gym.

"Right, time for Santa to check his list." Spyro said. He observed the fillies and colts and had two different colored pencils ready to go, the green one would be for check marks to indicate whose been good while the red would be for big red X's if they have been naughty. "Let's see, Pipsqueak, nice... Twist, nice... Peachy Pie, very nice..." He then saw the crusaders were participating in a snowball fight, giggling and having fun with all their friends. "Those three, definitely on the ice list, despite some of their antics."

He then heard what sounded like Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon laughing, knowing they were probably picking on someone again, so he went over to see who their latest victim was, only to see they were picking on a little unicorn filly, pale purple in color with a blonde mane and yellow eyes just like Derpy's.

"Stop it Diamond Tiara!" The filly shouted.

"Face it Dinky, the truth hurts." Diamond Tiara said. "Your mom is really stupid, she can't even deliver mail to the correct places. I'm surprised she can see half the time with those crossed eyes."

"She's not stupid!" Dinky shouted.

"I'm surprised she didn't pass it down to you." Silver Spoon said. "After all, isn't something like that hereditary? Maybe someday you might end up just as stupid as her."

The two bullies walked away from the upset filly, laughing as they felt good about what they said while the filly ran away from the playground in tears and away from school. Spyro glared at the two bullies, putting down multiple red X's next to their names for their recent insults, immediately flying after the little filly and when he managed to catch up with the filly, he saw her sitting next to a tree and saw tears rolling down her cheek as she was crying, wiping away some of the tears as she sat alone, but as she was crying, a few Flood unversed popped up and spotted the upset filly, slowly approaching her, but one of them got his with a Strike Raid, making the other two jump back and get the crying fillies attention. She saw the Flood and screamed, but Spyro landed in front of her and unleashed a breath of ice, freezing them in place before spinning around, his blade tipped tail slicing them in half and eliminating them in one swing.

"Stay cool." Spyro said, turning to the filly. "Hey there Dinky, you ok?" He didn't get an answer, but instead she ran up and hugged his foreleg, crying as she hugged him and surprised him as he flinched a bit, but then sat down and patted her head, sensing how upset she was. "There, there, it's ok Dinky, you're ok."

"T-those... monsters..." Dinky said, barely able to say anything with how upset she was.

"They're called Unversed." Spyro said. "They're drawn to negative emotions. But it's alright, they're gone now."

"W-why did they come after me?" Dinky asked.

"Because you were upset." Spyro replied, the filly letting go of him. "And before you tell me, yes, I heard everything that Diamond Tiara and her friend said. Not cool."

"They-they said my mom was stupid." Dinky said. "Said I'd be like her someday, cross eyed and dumb."

"Derpy's your mom?" Spyro asked, the filly nodding her head. "Wow, didn't know that."

"Why does she hate me?" Dinky asked, tears rolling down her cheeks. "Why does she always bully me?"

"No one knows what goes on in a bullies mind." Spyro replied. "But where I'm from, bullies always pick on who they think is weak. Best thing to do is to tell the teacher and they'll handle them. Also, stick close to your friends as they will always support and protect you."

"Thanks your majesty." Dinky said, cheering up and hugging him. "Thanks for that."

"No problem Dinky." Spyro replied, hugging her back. "Now dry those tears and turn that frown upside down because tomorrow is Christmas. And Santa Claus doesn't like it when little boys and girls are crying."

"Oh, really?" Dinky asked, wiping the tears away. "I'm sorry."

"Don't be." Spyro replied. "You were upset because of what someone else said, so it's not an issue. Besides, I have a feeling you've been a good girl, right?"

"Very good!" Dinky replied, hopping up and down. "You really think I'm on his nice list?"

"I'm more than positive." Spyro replied. "Now run along back to school before the bell rings, don't want to get in trouble do we?"

Dinky smiled at him and gave him one last hug before running in the direction of the school house, smiling at the little filly as he took out his list and put a check mark next to Dinky Doo's name.

"You truly have a way with words." Rosy said, making him turn to look at her.

"What can I say, I'm easy going." Spyro said, the blind unicorn sitting next to him. "Besides, I hate seeing kids cry as there is nothing more heart breaking than seeing a kid cry."

"There are other things more heart breaking than that." Rosy replied. "But, that definitely makes the list."

"So what are you doing here anyway?" Spyro asked.

"I was actually on my way to you." Rosy replied. "She said that once you were done with tonight's 'project' she wanted you to stop by the library as she and the rest of your friends have a special present for you."

"For me?" He asked. "What'd they get me?"

"Ah, ah, ah, not until Christmas." Rosy replied. "You know the rules lover boy."

"What, come on?" Spyro asked, begging like a little kid. "Just a hint? Or a peek?"

"Not going to happen pal." Rosy said, laughing at the prince as she got up. "Anyway, I need to get back to the library. Twilight's out for a couple of hours and left me in charge of it until she got back."

"Sure, no problem Rosy." Spyro said. "Catch ya later."

Rosy got up and walked back to town while Spyro was busy finishing his list, heading back to the schoolhouse to finish it up. Rosy walked back to town and returned to the library, using her Force senses to feel her way around the town until she reached the library, pushing the door open and sensing that Twilight was back.

"What's he doing?" Twilight asked.

"Making a list, and checking it twice." Rosy replied. "He's finding out who's naughty or nice."

"Ok, you don't need to do that." Twilight said.

"So, you got what you needed from Rarity?" Rosy asked.

"Oh yeah." Twilight replied, a smile creeping on her face. "He's going to get a nice little present."

"And everyone else?" Rosy asked.

"Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash were hesitant." Twilight replied. "But they agreed to it, though Rainbow Dash isn't a fan of it."

"Oh, I'm sure she'll warm up to it in the end." Twilight replied. "This will be one Christmas night Spyro is not going to forget."

At the farm house, Spyro was checking the list again, making sure he had all the foals names on it and either a check mark or an X, which wasn't a surprise to him that Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon had big red X's next to their names while Snips and Snails had proven to be difficult as, despite what they did with the Ursa Minor, he couldn't exactly fault them for wanting to see their idle in action, so he decided to let it slide this one time. As the sun was starting to set, Spyro was tucking Scootaloo and Apple Bloom in as they were excited for Santa to come visit them as they had spent some time baking some cookies for him and left out a glass of milk for when he arrived. once they were asleep, Spyro quietly took out the Santa Claus outfit right as he heard someone knock on his door, immediately pushing the box under his bed and pretending to be asleep, but when he turned his head, it was Applejack, who was quietly closing the door to his room, breathing a sigh of relief.

"What ya'll still doing in bed?" Applejack asked, whispering as to not be heard.

"Sorry, thought you were one of the fillies." Spyro whispered back. "Didn't want to spoil the holiday for them."

"Ah, don't ya'll worry." Applejack replied. "Ah just checked on them. They're fast asleep."

"Good." Spyro said, pulling the box out. "I want their first Christmas in Equestria to be the happiest."

"Well hurry up hun." Applejack said. "Ah'm sure them presents aren't going to deliver themselves."

Applejack quietly opened the door to his room and moved as quietly as possible through the hall, leaving Spyro to get himself dressed up in his Santa Claus outfit, complete with a red coat and hat with a big white beard, and a pillow to make himself look bigger, hoping to sell the idea that he was Santa Claus while also preparing the spell the princess gave him to change his appearance as soon as he was out the door. He then snuck through the hall and quietly closed the door behind him, heading down the stairs to get to the garage where he hid all the toys he got for the kids when he felt something in the house; familiar yet not of this world. He immediately raised his guard and flew down the stairs, landing quietly as to not wake anyone up and calling his Keyblade, but froze at what he saw, a white unicorn pony with a long white beard and wearing a big red coat and hat like his, but his Cutie Mark was a Christmas hat with candy canes behind it.

"Oh, blast these hooves." The pony said. "How does anyone get things done with these?"

"Santa?" Spyro asked, removing his hat and beard as the pony looked at him.

"Oh, hello Spyro." Santa said. "I should have known it was you who brought the spirit of Christmas to this place."

"But... how?" Spyro asked. "How are you here? I thought you could only go as far as villages in Halloween town, well, Christmas town for you, but still-"

"Spyro, the one thing you need to know about me is that I'm Santa Claus." Santa replied. "I know of the other worlds and deliver presents to them like I do anywhere else. Wherever the spirit of Christmas is at, I will always be there to make my rounds. Even if it's to a world filled with ponies." He then used his mouth to open the sack and grabbed a present from it, placing it under the tree that Spyro had gotten for them before reaching in to grab another, repeating. "I know you put on the costume to make yourself Santa Claus this year and am pleased you are wanting to make the little boys and girls here happy. Even so far as purchase some of the presents that the children here asked for this year, so I'd like to ask you if you would like to ride in my sleigh tonight."

"You mean it!?" Spyro asked, excited to have the chance to ride in his sleigh. "Of course I would."

"Very good." Santa said, pulling out four more presents. "I already put your sack of presents in my sleigh and have already delivered the ones you intended for Apple Bloom and Scootaloo and the ones I brought for them."

"You know their names?" Spyro asked.

"Of course I do." Santa replied. "I know they have been good little girls, despite getting into trouble every now and then. And I know you have been a very good boy. Adopting a little girl after her parents never returned for her, always helping and lending a hoof, listening and never judging, you and Sora have both been very good boys this year."

"Yeah, but..." Spyro began to say, walking to the couch and sitting down on it. "I think I just gave Maleficent a very dangerous idea, and I think she might go through with it."

"Oh, tell me then, what idea do you think you gave her?" Santa asked.

"Snapping half this world's population from existence." Spyro replied. "That means she might..."

"Ah, now I see." Santa said, sitting down next to him. "It is true, if she finds them, then every world out there will be in danger. That is something you don't want on your conscience." Spyro nodded his head, indicating that it was something he didn't want to happen. "Then it's a good thing I came then. Because, if she does find that universe, all is lost." He got up from the couch and went over to the chimney, having already eaten the plate of cookies and finished the milk, turned to face him and smiled. "Your present from me will help you with that. Now come, we have a lot of work to do tonight."

Wondering what he meant by his present would help him, he shook it off and went tout the door, immediately putting on his hat and beard and flew up to the roof, where Santa Claus had his Sleigh ready to go and he waited for him to come up from the chimney, seeing the jolly old pony magically fly out from the roof chimney and onto the sleigh, where he tried to take the reigns, but couldn't get a grip, growling in frustration.

"Maybe try concentrating on the reigns." Spyro said, making Santa look at him. "Your horn has magic in it, so all you need to do is concentrate on the reigns, imagining your magic reaching out to them and then you'll pick them up."

Santa Claus looked at him, wondering what he meant, so he decided to give it a go, looking down at the reigns and focusing on them until he saw a white aura surround them, lifting up and smiling. He then snapped the reigns and the reindeer immediately took off into the night sky, flying over head of the houses while Spyro enjoyed the ride, looking down and not believing he had the honor of riding in Santa Clauses sleigh, helping him to bring Christmas cheer to everyone in Ponyville. They made several stops in town, Spyro taking his sack and following St. nick down the chimneys, delivering the presents to all the good boys and girls and filling their stockings with some of the candies and other goodies that Santa brought with him for all the good fillies and colts. They soon arrived at their next destination and Spyro was about to get out and follow him, but then he looked at the address on the mailbox, seeing it and looked back at Santa in shock.

"Silver Spoons house." Spyro said, smiling with glee. "Oh, she's on my naughty list. I'll take great-"

"Before you go down, take this with you." Santa said, passing him a present, confusing him. "It's for Silver Spoon."

"What!?" Spyro asked, shocked by what Santa said. "Are you serious!? She's a bully like Diamond Tiara!"

"Maybe, maybe not." Santa replied. "But I think you might be more surprised than you might think you are now."

Spyro didn't like the idea of giving Silver Spoon a present, but went anyway, crawling down the chimney while Santa moved onto the next set of houses to deliver the presents. As Spyro finally reached the end of the chimney, he looked around and found that the house seemed decent, not too rich and not too poor, but as he looked around, he saw Silver Spoon curled up in a ball under a blanket on the couch, sleeping peacefully away and finding the filly to be cute while she wasn't being a bully. He walked over to the tree to deliver the present and was about to put it under the tree, but then saw something that made him freeze on the spot, which was a letter with the milk and cookies she had left out, so he put the present under the tree and walked over to the plate of goodies, finding it odd that there would be a letter with them, but what surprised him the most was there was a present on the table as well. Picking up the letter, he saw it was addressed to Santa and was about to put it down, but curiosity took over, so he opened it as he was playing the part of Santa and ready what was written on it.

'Dear Santa,

I know I haven't been a good filly this year, I will admit that, and I wanted to tell you that I knew my actions were mean. Recently, my friend and I made fun of another fillies mom because she was cross-eyed and, to be honest, I didn't feel good about doing so. I wanted to apologize to her when Diamond Tiara wasn't around, but she was always close by and I didn't get the chance to. Every time when I'm not with her, I will go to the guys I made fun of and apologize to them, knowing it was wrong. I want to stand up for them, but I'm afraid Diamond Tiara wouldn't be my friend anymore if I did as she's my only friend. I told my parents what I did and how I felt about it and wanted to give Dinky Doo a present, and a written apology, though I wish I could tell her myself face to face. I wanted to ask you if you could deliver the present for me and the letter inside it. Inside is a teddy bear, a brand new one, as a way of me saying sorry to her for making fun of her mom. Thank you and Merry Christmas.

Sincerely,

Silver Spoon'

Spyro couldn't believe what he was reading, looking down at the filly and then back to the letter, sensing that she was being genuine in her apology and smiled, now seeing there was some good in her after all and Santa saw that where he wouldn't have. Folding the letter up, he then looked around for a piece of paper of his own and something to write with, writing down a letter of his own for the little filly and setting it down on the table with the tray of cookies and milk, eating some of the cookies while putting the rest into a plastic bag to give to Santa and drank the milk as he took the present, but then stopped, turned around to see the peaceful look on her face as she slept and smiled to himself. He raised his hoof and used some of his own magic to create a crystal out of thin air, shaping it into a reindeer and set it down on top of the note before going up the chimney, which Santa was waiting for him in the sleigh.

"It seems you're in a good mood." Santa said, smiling at him.

"Yeah, I am." Spyro replied. "It seems like Silver Spoon isn't as mean as I thought she was. She's just scared of loosing a friend, so I left her the present and made another for her, leaving a letter behind as well for her to read."

"That's very good of you." Santa said. "Come, we have a few more stops to make before I drop you off back at the farm house."

"Actually, when we're finished, could you drop me off at the Golden Oak Library?" Spyro asked, the jolly unicorn looking at him. "My friends have a present they got for me there and I was told to go there when I was done."

"Ah yes, your herd, am I right?" Santa asked, Spyro nodding his head. "You have many loving and caring friends Spyro. These girls I can tell truly love you and are willing to help you."

"That's what I'm worried about." Spyro said, looking to the ground as they moved on. "I fear for their safety, now more than ever. So, I'm working on something to help protect them, though I haven't gotten started yet."

"Why do you hesitate if it'll protect them?" Santa asked.

"Well, it just..." Spyro began saying before stopping. "I... don't know if it's a good idea. Making the armor and... giving it to my friends. Wouldn't that be meddling?"

"Ho, ho, ho, Spyro, fear is nothing more than the mind holding you back." Santa said. "You are more prone to stress, yess, but you have your friends to back you up. If making this armor will protect them, I say it's time you stopped stalling and start doing." He then looked forward and saw the final houses for the night. "Ah, there's the final house."

"That's Derpy's." Spyro said. "I know, I made a few deliveries there for AJ."

"Then, this will be your final stop." Santa said, giving him the last two presents. "You did good Spyro. Better than Jack ever could."

"Oh, you mean when he took your place on Christmas after kidnapping you?" Spyro asked, still remembering the movie. "Yeah, I guess I did do better than he did. Thanks again Santa."

"No, thank you Spyro." Santa said. "You helped to spread the joy of Christmas to another world, bringing joy and cheer to the little boys and girls here."

"Oh shoot, I forgot about Diamond Tiara." Spyro said, reaching into the bag.

"Don't worry, I left her the coal in her stocking." Santa said. "In fact, she set up quite a lot of noise traps to catch me."

"Seriously?" Spyro asked. "Must have wanted to catch me breaking and entering just to deliver her coal."

"She seems to not like you." Santa said. "She was on the couch mumbling something about catching you and suing or something like that."

"Yeah, she has it out for me." Spyro said. "Anyway, it was good seeing you Santa. Maybe I'll stop by Christmas Town for some of Mrs. Claus's cookies."

"Ho, ho, ho, I'm sure she'd like the company." Santa said, waving to him as a portal opened up in front of him. "Farewell Spyro, and Merry Christmas!"

"Merry Christmas Santa." Spyro replied.

He walked over to the chimney and used his magic to shrink himself small enough to go through the chimney, regrowing to his actual size once he reached the bottom. Once he reached the bottom of the chimney, he looked around and saw the coast was clear, so he walked over to the tree and put the three presents under it, making sure he didn't make a sound when he heard what sounded like a shocked gasp, looking over and saw that Dinky Doo was awake, her eyes wide in surprise.

"S-S-S-Santa?" Dinky asked.

"Ho, ho, ho, why hello there Dinky Doo." Spyro said, making his voice deeper to disguise it.

"Y-you know my name?" Dinky asked.

"Of course I do." Spyro replied. "I know the names of every child everywhere. It's my responsibility to deliver presents to all the good little fillies and colts, no matter where they are."

"I-I never thought that..." Dinky started to say, walking up to him.

"Never thought you get to see Kris Kringle, did you?" Spyro asked, ruffling her mane up and making her giggle.

"Yeah." Dinky replied.

"You have been a very good girl this year Dinky." Spyro said. "You are also very strong and capable, I can tell. And my friend Spyro told me what happened today."

"You know Spyro?" Dinky asked.

"Of course I know him." Spyro replied. "He helped me to come to this world, for as long as the spirit of Christmas is present, no matter which world, I will be there to deliver presents." He then looked over and used his magic to levitate the present from Silver Spoon to her, presenting it to her. "It's usually against the rules for anyone to open presents before Christmas morning, but there is the one rule that says that whoever has been the nicest get's to open one of their presents early. And you Dinky, have been very nice."

"Wait, this is from Silver Spoon." Dinky said, opening it to see a bright blue Teddy Bear with a pink heart on its chest. "I-I don't get it."

"Silver Spoon wanted to apologize to you." Spyro said, surprising the little filly. "She asked me to give you this as part of an apology for making fun of your mother. She wanted to make amends and wished she could have done so in person, but is afraid that Diamond Tiara would stop being her friend."

"Wow, thanks Santa." Dinky said, hugging the bear.

"No, thank Silver Spoon when you get the chance." Spyro replied, tapping his nose.

He then surrounded himself and turned into a cloud of golden dust, flying up the chimney and onto the roof top, taking in a deep breath after finishing a long night of delivering presents. As he was taking off the suit to leave for the library, he heard something explode below him, looking over the edge of the roof to see a familiar looking robot, it's hand reaching into the house as he heard what sounded like Dinky screaming along with Derpy shouting.

"The Experiment!?" Spyro asked. "I thought Sora turned that thing to scrap."

"DINKY!" Derpy shouted.

Spyro looked over the side and saw the Experiment was pulling Dinky out of the house while holding onto the teddy bear, making his blood boil as he leapt down and called his Keyblade, slicing the arm off as the machine looked at it's lost limb in confusion. Spyro however managed to catch the falling filly and set her on the ground, which she ran to Derpy and looked to see her savior and the machine.

"Stealing Christmas presents again?" Spyro asked. "Geez, I thought you learned your lesson the last time when Sora turned you into tin cans."

The Experiment made a sound with it's gears in anger, lunging for him, but Spyro just grabbed it's remaining arm in his mouth and leapt up, flapping his wings and taking it into the sky as storm clouds gathered overhead, bolts of electricity building up in the massive storm clouds until he launched the experiment into the air, the same bolts of lightning shooting out of the clouds and into the massive machine, overloading it until it exploded into thousands of pieces, littering the area and smoking hot. Spyro flew down and landed just in front of the head, which seemed to have survived the fight, but was disturbed at how it got into Equestria, but his thoughts were then interrupted when he felt something huge his leg, turning to see Dinky was hugging him again.

"Dinky, you ok?" Spyro asked, the filly letting go as he sat down. "I heard screaming on my way to the library and came here."

"We're fine, thanks to you." Dinky replied, hugging him again.

"Yes, thanks Spyro." Derpy said, walking over and hugging him. "I thought that thing was going to get my little Dinky Doo."

"It wasn't Dinky it was after." Spyro said. "It was the presents."

"The presents?" Dinky asked.

"This thing is called 'The Experiment.'" Spyro replied. "It's a machine made by a friend of mine in another town. Made it for Halloween, or in this case, for Nightmare Night, but it was scrapped. It went haywire and stole presents and gifts from everyone, trying to make a heart for itself."

"By stealing everyone's presents?" Derpy asked.

"It's not the presents it needed, but the love and joy they can bring." Spyro replied, picking up the teddy bear. "Sora told me about it, it stole presents from Santa once, all the love and care that went into making them to bring joy and cheer." He walked over and handed the teddy bear back to Dinky, the filly taking the bear. "Christmas isn't just about toys, but about coming together and spreading love and cheer. Remember that Dinky."

"I will." The filly replied. "Thank's again."

She and Derpy then went back into the house, which Spyro gladly repaired with a bit of magic, but turned back to the head, finding it was still intact while the rest of it's body seemed to be just rust away and turn to dust.

"Weird." Spyro said, using the Force to lift the head up. "AIVA, send a Teeny ship to pick The Experiments head up and send it to the vault, I got an important appointment to keep."

"Confirmed." AIVA replied. "ETA: two minutes."

Having gotten the clean up handled, he then took off into the sky and flew towards the Golden Oak Library, landing at the front door and was about to knock, but when he did, the door slowly swung open, but when it did, his entire face turned bright red as he saw the mane six, all wearing red and green socks, wearing Santa hats and wearing pink ribbons around their necks with candles lite everywhere, the scent of peppermint in the air and mistletoe hanging above them. He could feel his heart beating against his chest, feeling like it as going to explode from seeing how cute and adorable they were, especially Fluttershy as she tried to hide the blush on her face with her mane.

"What took you so long darling?" Rarity asked, fluttering her eyes. "We've been waiting for such a long time."

"Sorry, I... I... I..." Spyro started to say, but lost his wording, unable to properly speak.

"Looks like somepony likes what he sees." Twilight said, walking over to him, kissing him as he kissed back. "And we're all yours tonight."

"Twilight... this is... I mean..." Spyro tried to say, but Twilight raised her hoof to his mouth, silencing him.

She then used her magic to pull him into the library and closing the door, putting up a sign that said closed for Christmas as the curtains were drawn, blocking anyone's view from they got curious. The next morning, all of Ponyville was buzzing with joy and cheer, Spyro and the Mane six all gathered at the Apple family house with all their presents, the crusaders laughing and cheering at all the toys they got and the chance to go outside and have a snowball war, splitting up into two teams as they played in the snow. At Silver Spoons house, the little filly was waking up, yawning as she looked around and her eyes widened in shock as she saw a present under her tree, the cookies and milk gone, and a small cyan colored crystal reindeer on the side table with a letter addressed to her. He carefully lifted the crystal figurine and took the letter, opening it and unfolding it to see what was written.

'Dear Silver Spoon,

I am very touched that you had a present for little Dinky Doo and an apology written out for her. Yes, it would have been better if you would have said you're sorry in person, but this will also work. I always knew you were a good little girl and I have been watching your actions from the moment Spyro came to your home, bringing with him the Spirit of Christmas and Christmas cheer. I had planned on putting coal in your stocking, but this act of kindness and asking for forgiveness has put you on the nice list. So, I made this little crystal Reindeer for you, as a token of how pleased I am at how you are as, even though you are with a filly who's cruel, it shows you are nothing like that.

There is however, one thing I would like for you to do for me and that is to make some more friends. Diamond Tiara might be friendly to you, but you shouldn't be with only one friend as there are many little fillies your age that you can make friends with, if you gave them a chance. I cannot tell you who to make friends with, but what I can tell you is that you are a good filly at heart, you just need to get away from the toxic friendship you have with Diamond Tiara and make new friends, better ones who don't brag about their fortunes or how rich they are, but real friends who love and care for you, truly care for you.

Think it over Silver Spoon, and be a good little filly. Until next year, Merry Christmas.

Sincerely,

Santa Claus'

The gray earth pony filly put the letter down, wiping away a tear as she smiled, looking to the little crystal figurine that Spyro had left for her, folding the letter up and putting it on the table before going over to open her present, the light shining on the crystal to illuminate the room in a cyan light, snow falling over all of Ponyville as families and friends came out to give each other a Merry Christmas and to enjoy their time in the beautiful winter day.
