Birthday Party!
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY, IZUKU!"
Not long after meeting his grandparents and discovering that he is one of these Celestial Guardians, Izuku was brought to an ornate, yet comfortable looking, lounge area of the space cruiser known as the Frieza Force-1. He had been told that the cruiser had been outfitted with the latest in stealth and radar technology. They will remain hidden from threats on Earth and even from other aliens and be able to detect any oncoming threats before they could get within 200 feet of them, which he was relieved about. His now huge family was standing and sitting around the area which had everything that was needed for a birthday party. There were fun decorations such as confetti and streamers, a big banner that reads 'Happy Birthday' in big, colorful, bold letters, a long table that was almost overflowing with tasty looking food and drinks, and there was a large five layered cake decorated with white and green icing and fifteen lit birthday candles on it. Behind the cake, stacked up on a large table, were several wrapped presents all for Izuku.
It was honestly a little overwhelming for him. The last time he had such a big birthday party was when he was three years old. Back before he learned that he would never manifest a quirk of his own. And yet, at the same time, he was excited. He looked out the window of the shuttle to the starry black abyss that is outer space and saw the small, curved outline of planet Earth. And from where he was standing, he could make out the familiar shape of Japan.
As he was guided by Mana to the large cake, Izuku felt tears once again brimming in his eyes.
"What's wrong, sweetie?" Mana asked her son.
"Nothing's wrong. It's just… after spending so many years practically alone and isolated, I never expected anyone to throw a party like this for me. The last one I remember having was when I was three years old. Seeing all of this and having you all here just warms my heart.". Izuku explained as he wiped away his tears.
Mana smiled and hugged her son, planting a gentle kiss on his forehead as she brought him to the cake.
"Come on, big brother, make a wish!" urged Wendy.
But Izuku just smiled and said, "I don't need to.".
"Why not?" Kanna asked with an adorable tilt of her head.
"Because I got everything I could ever need." he replied.
The family smiled as Izuku gave the youngest girls a hug before blowing out his birthday candles. Everyone cheered as Anakin got Izuku into another headlock and gave him a playful noogie.
"Alright, birthday boy, time for presents!" Tsunade announced.
"If nobody objects, I will go first." Mana said as she stood up.
She gave her son a quick hug and clapped her hands as she said, "Izuku, my present for you is two-fold. The first is this.".
Izuku was confused by what she meant until he saw four young women enter the room. Each one was beautiful in their own right, and they all looked unique in their appearance. The one major similarity between the four was that they were all teenagers around Izuku's age. Maybe a little older.
The first girl has short, dark blue hair that reaches her neck, light skin, and blue eyes. She wears a school uniform with a long blue skirt. The second is a beautiful girl who looked to be about sixteen years old with long blonde hair with flaming orange tips and red-orange eyes with dilated pupils, and a buxom figure whom Izuku could only describe as a dragon maid cosplayer, especially with the pair of horns sticking out of her head and the green dragon tail sticking out from under her dress. The third girl looked to be Izuku's age standing at average height with brown eyes, long, waist-length, burnt orange hair. Her most notable physical trait is her slender yet curvaceous figure for a teenager, especially in terms of her large breasts. She was wearing a gray school uniform and had white flower hairpins in her hair. And the last girl had dark skin, long dark-brown hair done up in a trio of wolftails, and cyan blue eyes. She wore dual-tone blue tribal attire that seemed geared more towards someone who lived in the arctic with the exception of her shirt which had no sleeves.
Now, Izuku was understandably confused. The first part of his gift is four girls?
'Why would Mom give me four beautiful girls as a birthday gift… Does she expect me to…?' he thought before blushing and freezing like a statue. 'NO! Bad thoughts! Bad thoughts! I will not stoop to Mineta's level, and there's no way something like that would happen!'
He was broken from his thoughts when the four girls bowed to him and spoke in perfect unison.
"It is an honor to meet you at last, Midoriya-Dono." they said.
'Midoriya… Dono? They're referring to me as a lord?' Izuku mentally questioned before reasoning, 'Well, Dad did say that I'm now a prince of a galactic empire, so, it sort of makes sense.'
"Izuku, I'd like you to meet Ami Mizuno, Tohru, Orihime Inoue, and Korra." Mana said, introducing the four girls who each waved as they were introduced starting with the girl with blue hair, then the one with horns, the orange haired girl, and finally the dark-skinned beauty. "These four lovely ladies are your personal bodyguards."
"Bodyguards?" Izuku asked, silently relieved that this wasn't his new mother's secret plan of having him give her grandchildren before he turned twenty.
'Who says it's not?' Mana thought, facing the audience and giving a coy smile and wink.
"Okay, fair enough, Mana. Now, that's enough fourth wall breaking, for now."
"That's right. After the events that happened recently and the rough childhood that you've had to endure, not to mention how you and your class are being targeted by the League of Villains, I'll feel a lot more at ease knowing that you have some protection while attending UA." Mana explained. "Ami is incredibly smart, being a national genius. Tohru is a dragon from the same world that Kanna is from and is incredibly strong with a massive magic reserve that powers attacks that can destroy whole islands in a single shot. She's also your personal maid. Orihime is a sweet girl who is kind to everyone and possesses healing powers that can regrow whole limbs and organs at an astonishing rate, and her medical knowledge rivals even the likes of that pro hero doctor, Recovery Girl, in her prime. And Korra is what's known as the Avatar. She can control the four elements of water, fire, earth, and air, with water being her primary element, and she can even manipulate metal."
Izuku's eyes turned to swirls as he tried to absorb all of this new information, stuttering as he said, "Wh-Wh-Wha? National genius? Dragon maid? Regrow limbs? Avatar?".
"Uhh, Lady Midoriya, I think you might have broke your son's brain." Korra said, concerned for her new lord.
"Oh, don't worry about it, Korra. He just needs a minute to let his brain catch up." Mana said, knowing this to be true.
After all, she was exactly the same when she was his age. And still kind of is.
"They will serve you with absolute loyalty." Mana said before giving a teasing grin and saying, "Just don't go making me a grandmother yet.".
Izuku blushed so hard his whole face turned red, and steam rose up from his head. Even his new bodyguards blushed at the implications. Anakin, who had been drinking water at the time, did an epic spit take at Mana's last sentence and cackled like a hyena. But Izuku quickly shook off his blush and embarrassment as a thought occurred to him.
"Wait, you're giving me four bodyguards? But then…"
"You don't like them?" Mana asked.
"No, nonononono! They're all beautiful and super strong in their own right," Izuku quickly said making the four blush harder, "But, I mean… what about Savage, Anakin, Bo-Katan, Kuvira, Sabine, Alice, Wendy, Ben, Nami, Caulifla, and Kanna?".
"Aww, baby bro cares about us!" Kuvira gushed, glomping Izuku in a hug.
"Well, yeah, I mean… you're family too." Izuku said as Wendy also hugged her brother while Kanna climbed onto his back again.
Mana smiled and said, "While Ami, Tohru, Orihime and Korra's primary task is to protect and heal you, they will also follow your orders while making judgement calls when they need to. If you order them to protect members of our family, then they will do so to the best of their ability. Hell, they'll give it a hundred and twenty percent if you order them to.".
Izuku sighed a breath of relief as he said, "Oh, thank god… or kami…".
"Or King Kai." Frieza quipped.
"Oh, thank Gami-Kai." Izuku sighed.
Mana giggled as she thought about a certain Saiyan warrior who is none too bright that her husband despises so much.
"Now, for part two of your gift, I'll need a certain artifact." Mana said.
She reached into the sleeve of her priestess robe and pulled out a solid gold key that looked like an Egyptian Ankth. Izuku could somehow sense great power coming from the key, but he didn't know how he could. For now, he just chalked it up to being one of his abilities as a Celestial Guardian.
"What's that?" Izuku asked.
"This, Izuku, is a relic of great power known as the Millennium Key. One of seven mystical objects known simply as the Millennium Items. The Millennium Key will allow me to look into your soul and bring forth the Ka that sleeps within you." Mana explained.
Izuku raised a questioning eyebrow. What are these Ka that she speaks of?
"All humans have a special type of soul energy within them that can manifest into creatures of varying levels of power depending on how someone was raised. We call them Ka, and there are two types; Demon Ka and God Ka." Chun-Li explained.
"Aunt Mana has a spirit Ka, too. One that actually shares her soul with her. And she is certain that you have one of these Ka in your soul just waiting to be woken up." Nami added.
"You really think so?" Izuku asked, anxious over seeing what it could be.
Mana smiled and replied, "I know so. So, let us begin.".
She held the Millennium Key up to Izuku and as it glowed with a golden light, she was able to peer into her son's soul. She saw that his soul was bright and full of light and goodness… and then she saw the spirit living within him and smiled.
"Well, son… it's time to meet your spirit Ka!" exclaimed Mana.
And in a flash of light, the spirit appeared! Izuku was amazed as he got a good look at it. His Spirit Ka was an adult man with a lean build, blue eyes, straight long blonde hair that's darker than Mana's, and a very pale skin tone that gives off the impression of a ghost. He wore armored robes with pointed shoulder pads, a pointy hat, and held a long staff with a green gem in the top. His robes, hat, and staff were all colored blue with red trim. The spirit looked at Izuku with a smile as the green haired boy looked on in awe.
"Whoa!" gasped Anakin.
"For once, we agree. Whoa!" added Caulifla.
Mana smiled with pride and said, "Ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce you all to Izuku's Spirit Ka… the Dark Magician!".
"Dark… Magician…" Izuku gasped in awe.
The spirit gave a nod to his master and soon vanished into thin air. At first, the green haired boy was worried that he might have done something to drive it away, but Mana was quick to reassure him that the Dark Magician had simply returned to Izuku's soul in order to rest until he was needed. She also explained how the only way to destroy a Ka was to kill the person the Ka was connected to, or destroy it while it was within a sealing slab, but both of these methods don't always work. After he got over the shock, Izuku hugged Mana and thanked her for her gifts.
"Alright, it's time for my gift." Frieza said as he handed Izuku a box.
Izuku opened the box and saw something that made him raise an eyebrow as he paled a little in shock. Reaching into the box, he pulled out what appeared to be a blood pack.
"Umm… why did you give me a blood pack?" Izuku asked nervously.
Giving his son a reassuring smile, Frieza said, "You can relax, son, it's not poisoned and I'm not trying to turn you into a vampire. The blood in that pack actually came straight from me, and it will help you become even stronger than you are now. Kisuke helped me with this little project.".
"Really?" Izuku asked.
He had to admit, he did like the idea of becoming stronger than he is now. No offense to All Might and his training methods, but Izuku knew that he wasn't making any more progress with it, and Gran Torino never really trained him so much as he used him as a punching bag to brute force him into learning how to use his Full Cowling and use it fast. When All Might first started training Izuku to prepare him to receive One For All, he had been improving at an alarmingly fast rate, at least by Izuku's own expectations. But recently, no matter how much Izuku has increased his own training or changed something in his diet to help with it, his progress seemed to have plateaued.
Besides, if this was really poisoned, it was certainly a stupid way to poison someone. You don't just give them a poisoned pack of blood as a birthday present.
"Well… okay, I trust you." Izuku said.
Frieza smiled at this and pressed a button as the floor over by the wall opened up and a machine rose up out of the floor. It looked like a large glass and metal pod that was big enough for a single person to fit comfortably inside.
"This machine is called a Regeneration Tank. It's vital to the procedure. These devices are an upgraded variant to the medical tanks that we used to use for our soldiers, only these, as the name implies, regenerate any lost limbs or organs. So long as the person inside is alive, the machine can grow them back good as new without the need for any cyborg support." Frieza explained to his son.
Looking at his own mangled hands, Izuku couldn't help but say, "This means that all of the damage done to my limbs because of being forced to use more of my quirk's power than I can handle will be undone…!".
He was absolutely elated! Now, he no longer had to worry about losing the use of his arms!
"Come. We can begin the procedure right away. It won't take longer than five minutes. Ten tops." Frieza said, leading Izuku to the healing tank.
~On Earth: Same Time~
"Nezu, what IS this thing?" Nemuri asked.
She and Nezu, along with many other heroes, both UA staff and from other agencies, had been out searching for young Midoriya in an effort to keep him safe and possibly rescue him if he was in the clutches of the League of Villains. And considering how emotionally unstable he had been the last time any of them had seen him, the league was likely to take advantage of that.
But as they had been searching, Nemuri, Nezu, and Thirteen had stumbled upon a giant stone slab with a carving that depicted a mighty demon. It hadn't been there the previous night, and this was far too ornate to have been done overnight or by a quirk. The carving itself was new, but the inscriptions carved into the stone were clearly ancient.
"I'm not sure. But it's far too intricate to be some piece of edgy artwork." Nezu said.
"Whatever it is, I don't like it. Just looking at it is giving me a bad feeling." the astronaut hero said as she shuddered within her puffy costume.
"Hmm, I have to agree." Nezu said, his animal instincts flaring up. "Why do I have this feeling around this carving? What is it about it that puts me on edge?"
"Who cares about the stupid carving? What about Midoriya?" Nemuri asked. "We've been looking for hours with so many heroes helping, and there's been no sign of him! Just the destruction left by the League of Villains, and… something else…"
She was referring to the large footprints left in the streets by what was likely two enormous beasts. They figured that it might have been someone with a gigantification quirk that also gave the user besital features, much like that shark guy that Kamui Woods and Mt. Lady fought on the blonde heroine's debut. The skid marks they found in the ground also suggested a fight between the two mystery entities.
"I'm afraid that until we hear word of his whereabouts, there isn't anything that we can do." Nezu replied.
(Begin 'F' by Maximum the Hormone)
Suddenly, Nezu perked up as his ear twitched as he looked up towards the sky.
"You look worried, sir, what's wrong?" Thirteen asked.
"I don't know why… but I have the strangest feeling that our students will be in serious trouble when summer is over." Nezu replied.
The two heroines looked concerned and confused. What could possibly cause Nezu to think that?
Meanwhile, back aboard the Frieza Force-1, Izuku's family was surrounding the regeneration tank as Izuku floated within the green tinted water. A breathing mask was attached to his face from the nose down, supplying him with oxygen as an IV pumped Frieza's blood into the boy. His body seemed to pulse as his veins bulged beneath his skin, his body slowly but surely undergoing a harrowing transformation right before their very eyes. Slowly, his crooked fingers began to heal as they reformed into the proper position for healthy hands, and the scars on his arms faded as his body was healed. Even the scars from past abuse back at Aldera, which he had bore for over ten years, faded away into nothing as his body had changed from human… to one of Frieza's people.
Soon enough, the young man's hand twitched… and his eyes snapped open! The whole ship seemed to shudder at the raw power now emanating from the young man who has become one of Frieza's people! The crew on the ship could barely stay standing as their scouters overloaded and blew up from the sheer influx of power they were reading! And as the water drained out of the tank, the lid opened up with a hiss of pressurized air. Izuku's new tail flexed as he stepped out onto the ground, his body a little bit damp from the water. His new family was in awe at his appearance. He looked very similar to Frieza in his current form, which is dubbed his 'final form', but there are some notable differences. For one, his upper body and head are a snowy white color with his shoulders having small, white, curved spikes growing out of them. His forearms and forelegs are covered in white bio-armor with his arms having curved blades instead of gems, and his legs having gems embedded in them. Speaking of gems, he has one in his head, one in his abdomen, and one in each lower leg. His body, arms, hands, and feet are all green, while the center of his torso, his inner thighs, and his tail are all dark green with his tail having 'rings' going down its length. And on his face from the eyes down, he has pink lines that resemble tear lines.
Izuku popped his neck and spat out the medical liquid that got into his mouth, the stuff landing in the pod, before Izuku took a few experimental steps toward his family.
(End Song)
Frieza smiled as he took in his son's new appearance and asked, "Well, son, how do you feel?".
"I admit, I thought it would be more jarring than this. But it actually feels quite good." Izuku said before looking down at his now three-toed, hand-like feet. "Although, some aspects of my new biology will definitely take some getting used to. Especially the tail.".
"Well, I would think so, it's such a drastic change." Muriel commented before asking Frieza, "Is this permanent?".
"Well, yes and no. Yes, he now has my blood running through his veins which gives him a form similar to my own, but no, he can switch between this form and his human form whenever he chooses. He'll just need to practice doing so, and in time, it will become second nature to him." Frieza replied.
Izuku mentally sighed in relief at that, glad that he didn't have to give up his humanity. He lifted his now scar-free hand and flexed his fingers, clenching and unclenching his fists before smiling. He could tell that the damage had been totally reversed. The chronic pain that he suffered from the operation that Recovery Girl had performed on him was no longer present. And his fingers were no longer all crooked and bending at awkward angles.
Suddenly, Frieza picked up a baseball with his tail and with a shout of, "Think fast!", threw it at Izuku at blinding speed! Though startled by the sudden throw, Izuku easily caught the ball in his hand. Everyone, Izuku included, was shocked by his quick reflexes. Had it been anyone else, that baseball would have given them a black eye and a missing tooth at the least! Staring at the ball in his hand, Izuku clenched his fist and crushed it in his hand! All that remained when he opened his hand was a few bits of rubber and cork on his palm. He remained silent for a moment before looking at his father.
"Should I… should I be worried about this?" Izuku asked.
Chuckling, Frieza replied, "No, I had Kisuke and Tsunade help modify my blood before we performed the procedure.".
"That's right, sonny boy. Though you have gained a form like Frieza's own, complete with your own transformations, you can't become a full member of his species. Your Celestial Guardian powers would negate it." Kisuke explained.
"Then, what did it do?" Izuku asked.
"Well, aside from giving you a form that looks very similar to Frieza, with a few minor differences, it enhanced your true, human form to peak physical condition. Strength, speed, agility, endurance, all enhanced to the highest level. And then some!" Tsunade explained. "Hell, in your human form, you could probably bench press a thousand pounds without using One For All, no problem!"
"Wait, seriously?" Izuku asked with wide eyes.
"That's right!" Kisuke said with a big grin.
"It also enhanced your immune system to the point where you'll never get sick again, will eliminate any fatigue that you experience, and grant you nearly superhuman stamina." Tsunade further explained.
Ben couldn't help but laugh as he quipped, "That'll come in handy for whenever you get a girlfriend.".
This caused Izuku's new bodyguards, and Izuku himself, to blush atomic red and glare at the Ultimatrix wielder as Savage hit him upside the head for that comment.
"It also means that you can never become intoxicated, which will be good for if your classmates ever decide to try and trick you into going out for drinks and then ditching you when you get drunk." Kisuke said.
"Are you speaking from experience, grandfather?" Izuku asked.
To which Kisuke simply opened his fan to hide his lower face and replied, "I will neither confirm nor deny this.".
"I think we should help Izuku change back to his human self, and get him a change of clothes as well." Mana suggested, knowing that his human form would also have gone through some changes due to the introduction of Frieza's blood.
A few minutes later, Izuku was back in his human form and now dressed in a baggy red dress shirt tucked into a pair of khaki slacks held up by a belt, and wearing his trademark quirkless reds. His new bodyguards were eyeing him with approval, and a small hint of lust in Tohru's case.
"So, you used your blood to make me stronger?" Izuku asked.
Frieza nodded and said, "Indeed. I know that it may not have been the way you wished to become stronger, but it is my duty as your father.".
Izuku smiled and said, "Thank you, father.".
"My turn!" Wendy said, leaping to her feet with a big ol' grin as she said, "You're gonna love this, big brother!"
Putting two fingers to her lips, Wendy gave a sharp whistle and a creature came barreling through the doors and skidded to a stop in front of Izuku, stopping only an inch from bowling him over. He gasped at the creature that was looking at him, panting like a dog with its tongue sticking out and practically vibrating with happy dog energy. Izuku immediately recognized it as a dragon. But not just any dragon.
The dragon itself resembled a mix of an axolotl, gecko, and black panther in general appearance and has one pair of wings with a similar shape to a bat; two pairs of tail fins, one at the base of the tip and the other at the tip, four mobile ear-like appendages at the back of its head as well as other small, tendril-like appeandages around its jaw. It has a pair of large, red, cat-like eyes and retractable teeth. The tip of its snout is also prominent, resembling the rhinarium of a mammal. The dragon itself is 26 feet in length with a 45 foot wingspan, and stood at a height of 5 feet 9 inches at the shoulder. Its whole body is covered in scales that are as black as the night.
This is no ordinary dragon… this is one that the young man knows very well.
"Night Fury…!" gasped Izuku. "You got me a Night Fury!?"
"Yup!" Wendy said, her smile never dropping.
"But… but how?" Izuku asked.
"Let's just say that it wasn't easy to find her." Wendy replied.
"So, it's a female?" Izuku asked. "How can you tell?"
"It's a subtle sign, but one that I've already documented. You see, male Night Furies are a lighter shade of black, being almost midnight blue in color, and have darker black claws. Females of the species, however, have darker black scales and lighter colored claws that look like they're almost grey." Wendy explained.
Izuku looked down at the Night Fury's paws and sure enough, he found that her claws are indeed as Wendy described them.
"I'm just glad that she seems to have bonded to you so well." Wendy said.
"What do you mean?" Izuku asked.
"Well, dragons like the Night Fury are normally very distrusting of humans and will either fight or fly away if any get too close. Especially if they're carrying a weapon. So, it normally takes time and effort to earn a dragon's trust and loyalty." Wendy explained. "Although, because you have her trust, she'll be completely loyal to you and you alone. But I'm sure she'll get along with the people you care for, and protect those that you love just as she would protect you."
"Well, that's good to hear." Izuku said as he gently pet the dragon, getting a rumbling sound like a purr from it.
But he was soon knocked onto his back as the dragon started licking his face like a dog would, getting his whole family and bodyguards to laugh at his situation.
"Ah, come on! This'll never wash out!" laughed Izuku.
"So, what are you going to name her?" Sabine asked as Izuku finally got back to his feet.
"Hmm… I think I'll call her Dusk." Izuku said.
And the newly named Dusk let out a happy roar as she bounced around the boy.
"So, what can you tell me about what she can do, besides act cute?" Izuku asked Wendy.
"Well, you already know that Dusk is a Night Fury. Night Furies are Strike Class Dragons, and every dragon in this class is characterized by blazing speed, vice-like jaw strength, and extreme intelligence. She can also use echolocation to navigate easier in pitch-black terrains, her claws are flexible and allow her to scale vertical surfaces with minimal difficulty, and she can unleash a mighty plasma blast that can deal a lot of damage depending on how much power she puts into it." Wendy explained.
"Wow, she can do all that?" Izuku asked.
"All of that and more." Wendy nodded.
'This blows Katsuki's explosion quirk out of the water for sure.' Izuku thought.
"This one is from me." said Muriel as she handed Izuku a book.
He opened the book and found that there were various recipes inside ranging from simple things like cookies to more complicated foreign dishes, including the iconic haggis from Scotland. But one thing he noticed is that most of these recipes included varying amounts of vinegar.
"What's this?" Izuku asked.
"This is a cookbook containing all of the family recipes. It's been passed down from parent to child for generations, and each new generation has improved many of the recipes inside and eventually added several of their own. I passed the original copy on to Chun-Li, but she insisted that we print a copy to give to you." Muriel explained.
Closing the book, Izuku smiled and set it aside as he said, "Thank you, Granny. I'll work hard to master these." before giving her a hug to which Muriel responded in kind.
"Open mine next!" exclaimed Sabine as she gave her new brother a large wrapped box.
He didn't waste any time doing so upon seeing how excited the colorful Mandalorian was and set the box on another table. Upon unwrapping it, Izuku gasped as his eyes shined with glee.
"A PlayStation 500?" gasped Izuku.
"Complete with games." Sabine said with a smirk, pulling several cases containing game discs out from behind her back.
"Games, too!? Oh my gosh, thanks, Sabine! I've always wanted one of these!" exclaimed Izuku as he hugged his sister tightly.
Bo-Katan chuckled and quietly said, "She's trying to turn him into a big time gamer like her. I just know it.".
Savage was the next one to retrieve his gift from the table and walk over to his new brother.
"This is from me." Savage said, handing Izuku a long, thin box.
He opened the box to reveal a saberstaff similar to the one that Savage uses. But this one was clearly of a different design.
"A saberstaff?" Izuku asked, not yet taking it out of the box.
"Not just any saberstaff. That weapon once belonged to my brother, Maul, who was taken at a young age to become a Sith Apprentice. As far as I know, he perished on the planet Naboo many years ago. Anakin and I found his Lightsaber and fixed it up. It's good as new." Savage explained.
Anakin took the weapon out of the box and showed Izuku how they fixed it… by igniting twin blades of blue plasma in place of its original red.
"Maybe a little better." Anakin said with a grin.
Izuku grinned back as Anakin extinguished the blades and put them on the table before handing Izuku a box while saying, "Savage's present goes pretty well with my own. I thought you might like something to make you look the part of a Jedi or a Sith.".
Opening the box, Izuku found a replica of Anakin's outfit. At his encouragement, the green haired boy went to try on the outfit, and came back out a few minutes later wearing the ensemble. It looked similar to Anakin's own, except that the colors were a little different. In place of brown, the pants are dark gray while his outer robes are a lighter shade of black. He got plenty of compliments from his family who thought that the outfit looked good on him. But he could feel something… a buzzing in his mind which only grew stronger as he picked up the saberstaff that Savage had gifted him.
"Is something wrong, little bro?" Anakin asked.
"I… I don't know…" Izuku replied.
He spun the hilt of his weapon and ignited the twin blades as he got into a familiar opening stance. Anakin and Savage instantly recognized it and ignited their own weapons as they got into stances of their own. Everyone watched with anticipation. Suddenly, the three were a blur of spinning red and blue blades as they engaged in an epic Lightsaber duel! It was a flurry of slashes, stabs, blocks, dodges, and deflects as the three looked to be performing an intricate dance. This went on for about three minutes before they stopped.
"How the hell do you know the Juyo Lightsaber technique?!" Anakin asked.
"How, indeed? After all, that style was the one that Maul was proficient at." Savage added.
"I honestly don't know, I swear! I just picked up Maul's Lightsaber, and it was like I knew it all! Then my body started moving on its own, and it was like I had been using that technique for years!" panicked Izuku.
"It's one of your powers as a Celestial Guardian. A little something called Psychic Imprinting." Tsunade said.
"Psychic imprinting? What does that mean?" Kanna asked.
"That's right. Basically, whenever a Celestial Guardian so much as touches a weapon or anything that was used by a great warrior, the information from the past users is, for lack of a better term, downloaded into the Celestial Guardian's brain. Their body will also adapt to gain any muscle memory pertaining to what they learned so that they master a style as if they'd been using it all their life." Tsunade explained.
Anakin couldn't help but cross his arms as he grumbled, "That is so unfair. It took me years to get as good as I am as a Jedi, and he does it in, like, five seconds just by touching a weapon!".
"That doesn't mean that I can beat you. I mean, I may have the skills now, but I don't have the same kind of experience that you do." Izuku said.
Anakin smiled and ruffled Izuku's hair as he conceded that point and resolved to train harder so that he could become even stronger. He wasn't about to lose to his little brother that easily!
"So, his Psychic Imprinting works on anything?" Kuvira asked.
"Yes." Tsunade replied with a nod.
"Well then, I guess I should give him my present." Kuvira said as she handed Izuku a scroll with an insignia he had never seen before. "It's an old waterbending scroll that was given to me for safekeeping by a friend of mine. Everything that her teacher learned and discovered about waterbending she wrote down in that scroll along with detailed instructions of how to perform them."
Kuvira glanced at Korra out of the corner of her eye, the Avatar giving her a smile as she subtly nodded in approval.
As soon as Izuku's hand touched the scroll, he felt the familiar buzzing in his head as his mind was assaulted by new memories. He saw a woman at various stages in her life as she performed what appeared to be martial arts moves that allowed her to control water itself. She was dressed in blue and white clothing that looked like it was made for an arctic environment. When it was over, he set down the scroll, clipped his Saberstaff to his belt, and began to go through the same movements that he saw in his head, causing the water to rise up out of a vase and move around the room as he moved it so fast that the water was able to cleanly cut an apple on the table in half down the middle before he lowered it back into the vase.
"Holy…!" gasped Bo-Katan.
"How did he…?" Ben asked.
"There's no way he used psychic abilities to do all of that!" exclaimed Caulifla.
"And as far as I can tell, he didn't use magic!" Kanna added.
"Well, it seems like your psychic imprinting successfully granted you waterbending." Kuvira said with a smile. "I'm happy to see that Katara's teachings won't die with her."
Izuku smiled warmly and hugged Kuvira as he said, "Thanks, big sis.".
"Okay, our turn!" exclaimed BoBoBo as he and Chun-Li brought over a small box and something large hidden under a tarp. "We doubt that you'll get much of an impression out of these."
"Here, kiddo, open mine first." Chun-Li said, handing Izuku the box.
He took the box and opened it to reveal a pair of black leather, fingerless fighting gloves. The gloves also had metal plating on the back with the Japanese kanji for dragon carved into them.
"Fighting gloves?" Izuku asked.
"I figured you might appreciate a little extra protection for your hands whenever you're fighting villains. They'll surely think twice before messing with you." Chun-Li said with an encouraging smile.
"And from me," BoBoBo removed the tarp from his gift to reveal a vehicle that made Izuku gasp in delight as stars appeared in his eyes. "Your very own car! Anakin and I found and fixed up this old girl and made some modifications. What do you think?"
Nami, however, crossed her arms under her chest and said, "You can't seriously be giving my little cousin that, Dad. It's a piece of junk!".
Izuku turned to Nami and said, "Junk? This is a classic! A much older car than what they have available these days, I'll admit, but like uncle said, he and Anakin made modifications and fixed it up."
He fixed his gaze on the car as Caulifla and Kisuke each let out a low whistle at the sight of it, honestly impressed that such a vehicle had been restored to the point that it looked like it just came off the showroom floor.
"It's beautiful… I've never seen a 1967 Chevy Camaro in such good condition." Izuku commented.
"Beautiful? Good condition!?" questioned Nami.
Although, she had to admit that he wasn't wrong about that. The older, boxy-looking car looked shiny and new with a black and yellow paintjob that reminded her of Bumblebee from the Transformers series with an inverted color scheme. And if her father and cousin really did work on it, then it was surely much different from the original under the hood. Even the interior of the car looked brand new!
Still, she couldn't help but scoff as BoBoBo gave Izuku the keys and said, "Classic or not, I don't think that thing will even go ten meters before falling apart.".
"I wouldn't be so sure about that, Nami. You know that when I build something, it's built to last." Anakin said.
"And hey, now you got a sweet ride so you can drive yourself to school. And maybe take your girlfriend out on romantic drives when you get one." Ben said to his cousin.
This caused Izuku's bodyguards, sisters, and female cousins to give Ben the stinkeye. Right before Orihime, Tohru, Ami and Korra to glare at each other in challenge. And one could swear that they could see lightning clashing between each other's eyes.
"Thanks, Auntie. You too, Uncle." Izuku said as he hugged them both.
"Okay, people, make way for the oldest sister, because I've got something good for my baby brother!" exclaimed Bo-Katan.
She wheeled over a box that was about a foot taller than the green haired boy and about two feet wider from shoulder to shoulder. If one were to ask what was going through everyone's minds at that moment, it would probably be, "That's a big box.". She handed her little brother a crowbar and as he opened the wooden crate, he gasped at what was inside.
"Armor?" gasped Izuku.
"Not just armor. A full suit of custom made Mandalorian armor! Complete with weapons." Bo-Katan said with a smug grin. "You'll be a walking swiss army gun with that armor. A pair of vambraces on your arms house an array of weapons and tools that will keep your enemies guessing. And there are other assorted weapons hidden throughout the armor. Things such as retractable arm blades, micro rockets, a flamethrower which can reach a range of fifteen meters, a fibercord whip, grappling cables, kneecap rockets, a targeting scope with full 360 degree vision, classic thermal detonators, and my personal favoritel; the EE-3 Carbine Rifle which can vaporize your target in a single shot at close range."
The armor itself was green as the base with some beige and red mixed in with a black bodysuit in an effort to mimic the color scheme of her little brother's hero costume. Needless to say, Izuku was shocked that Bo-Katan would get him such a gift. From what he understood, the armor of the Mandalorians is a big part of their culture, and to be given the armor meant that you were accepted into a Mandalorian clan as one of their own. He wrapped Bo-Katan up in a hug, thanking her profusely as the Mandalorian woman hugged him back feeling all warm and fuzzy inside.
Next to approach Izuku to give him his present was Alice. But unlike everyone else, she wasn't carrying a box. Rather, she had something held in her hand that she was keeping hidden from him and everyone else.
"Happy birthday, Izuku." Alice said as she placed something in his hand.
Izuku looked down and saw a marble that was similar to Alpha Hydranoid in his hand. Only this one was primarily orange with red accents.
"You're giving me a Bakugan?" Izuku asked.
Alice nodded and said, "A friend of mine, Dan Kuso, and his Bakugan Partner, Drago, found a new species of Bakugan when they were exploring New Vestroia. It's like nothing anyone has ever seen before. It seemed to be in stasis when they found it, so they brought it back to Earth and had me hold onto it for safekeeping. And, well… something in my heart tells me that you and this Bakugan are meant to be partners.".
Izuku stared at the little creature in his hand for a moment then looked up at Alice and gave her a big smile as he said, "This is a wonderful gift! Thank you!".
Resulting in Alice gently hugging him and replying, "Oh, I'm so glad!".
Next to run over was Kanna, who was carrying a stone slab that was at least four times her height and undoubtedly very heavy, much to Izuku's shock. But he guessed he shouldn't be too surprised. After all, despite looking like a little human girl, Kanna is a dragon. So, it stands to reason that she would be a lot stronger than she looks.
"This is my present." Kanna said, setting the stone slab down.
It landed with a loud "THUD!" making Izuku wonder just how heavy it was. Izuku was, understandably, a little confused over why Kanna would get him a stone slab for his birthday, but on closer inspection he found that there was a creature carved into the rock. It looked like some sort of hydra with three heads, kind of like Hydranoid, but very different.
"What's this?" Izuku asked.
"It's your guardian monster." Kanna replied.
"Guardian monster?" Izuku asked.
Kanna nodded and replied, "Yup. Grandpa did some research and found that there used to be three creatures that acted as guardians for humanity long before quirks ever came into existence. There was Mothra, Baragan, and this guy known as the Thousand Year Old Dragon… King Ghidorah. He's currently sealed away in this stone tablet until you call upon him and awaken him.".
That threw Izuku for a loop. Along with the rest of the family.
"Where the heck did you find something like that?" Anakin asked.
"In an old cave." Kanna replied.
"An old cave? But if it were in a cave, it would've been discovered long before…"
"Just don't question it, Anakin. You'll save yourself a headache." Savage said, cutting off Anakin.
"Well, I don't know if I'll ever need help from a giant dragon guardian, but thank you, Kanna. This means a lot to me." Izuku said, hugging his little cousin as he added, "Your concern for my wellbeing, I mean.".
Kanna didn't vocally reply. She just hugged her brother back while making a happy humming noise that sounded almost as if she was purring. Everyone in this wacky family couldn't stop themselves from getting the feels from how adorable Kanna was. For some, such as Savage and Anakin, they were internally squealing over how cute Kanna was being. Others, like Chun-Li, Muriel, and Mana, were externally squealing at the sight and wishing they had a camera to capture the moment.
"Alright, well, my gift might not be as impressive as a giant guardian monster or a living dragon, but this is from me." said Ben as he picked a metal pod off of the table and gave it to Izuku.
"What's this?" Izuku asked.
He got his answer when the pod opened with a loud hiss. He gasped as he saw a device that left him stunned.
"An Ultimatrix?" gasped Izuku.
"Correction; your Ultimatrix." Ben replied.
The Ultimatrix that was gifted to Izuku looks very similar to Ben's own, but half the size, as it appears to only go up to the user's wrist instead of encompassing half of their forearm. This Ultimatrix also appears to be missing the black buttons and wrist couplings that Ben's Ultimatrix has. It has four white tubes connected to the silver dial where the hourglass symbol of the Ultimatrix is located, the tubes forming an X formation, as well as having four black squares along the knuckles. To top it all off, Izuku's new Ultimatrix is red instead of green.
Izuku smiled… and didn't even flinch as the Ultimatrix leapt up and attached itself to his right hand, beeping as it successfully keyed itself to his DNA.
"This is amazing!" exclaimed Izuku.
"How'd you get that thing, anyway?" Nami asked.
"Yeah, I mean, even as your smartest aliens, you wouldn't be able to build something THAT complex. Not without blowing yourself, and the lab, to kingdom come several hundred times, at least." Caulifla added.
Ben just crossed his arms and said, "I didn't build it. Do you guys remember that rogue Galvan who used to be Azmuth's assistant?".
"You mean Albedo? What about him?" Kuvira asked.
"He originally built that Ultimatrix in order to stabilize his transformations. But in a bid to gain ultimate power, he stole a Polymorphic Crystal that would allow him to change into ultimate aliens like I can. Fortunately, we managed to stop him and Azmuth confiscated Albedo's stabilizer. He was originally going to just salvage a few usable parts from it and then destroy the rest, but I managed to talk him into helping me turn it into a true Ultimatrix so that I could give it to Izuku." Ben explained.
"And how'd you do that? Last I heard, Azmuth's a stubborn old Galvan." Chun-Li said.
Ben just shrugged and replied, "Let's just say he owed me a favor.".
None of them knew how to feel about that but decided to leave it be for now.
"So, does this mean that I can turn into aliens like you can, Ben?" Izuku asked.
"You sure can. But for your own safety, and the safety of others, I only gave you ten aliens to work with for now. I mean, I started out with ten aliens and did just fine." Ben explained. "Don't worry, new aliens will slowly unlock over time. I chose some good ones for you to try and keep it balanced. Humungosaur, Greymatter, Big Chill, Heatblast, Jetray, Brainstorm, Ripjaws, Whampire, Wildmutt, and Rath."
While he was a little disappointed that he didn't get to choose which aliens he started out with, he was grateful for the gift from his cousin. He thanked Ben and gave him a hug as Caulifla walked up with a grin on her face.
"Before I give you my present, Cuz, I got something special for ya that you didn't get yet." she said.
She took a couple steps closer to Izuku…
And then proceeded to punch him in the arm fifteen times!
"A little bit of good luck on your birthday!" exclaimed Caulifla.
Izuku just stood there in stunned silence and muttered "Owww…".
"Okay, I've had my fun, NOW, I'll give you my present." Caulifla said.
She ran back to the table and came back holding a flat, rectangular box. Izuku opened it up and, to his surprise, he found that it was an ornate pendant with a yin-yang symbol.
"A pendant?" Izuku asked.
"Not just any pendant. That pendant has mystical properties and will protect the wearer from attacks on the spirit. I got it while visiting this old temple and figured that it may come in handy." Caulifla explained.
"Well, it looks like you've just about covered all your bases, bro." quipped Anakin.
Izuku just smiled and put it on before saying, "Thank you, Caulifla. I'll treasure it, always.".
Nami walked up to Izuku and smiled as she handed him an envelope.
"Here you go, little cousin." Nami said.
He opened the envelope and pulled out what appeared to be a bank card and a small card with information written on it.
Upon seeing his questioning gaze, Nami explained, "Admittedly, I'm not the best when it comes to gift shopping. I grew up spending a majority of my life trying to get money by any means necessary in order to free my home village from the grip of a tyrant, but it was never enough. Eventually, that greed became a core part of my personality. While I never sold-out anybody for money, and NEVER WILL, it became difficult for me to spend much money on anything. Mama Chun-Li and BoBo-Pops, as I like to call them, have been a big help in getting me to let go of that greed. But since I'm not good at shopping for gifts, I decided to set you up with a special bank account that only you can access. On the card, there are three sets of numbers. The first is the account number, and the second is the PIN number. I highly recommend that you memorize them and destroy the card afterwards. And the third number is the amount of money you have in the account.".
Izuku was saddened to hear that his new cousin was forced into theivery just to survive and resolved to talk to her about it later. In the meantime, he checked the last number on the card and made a strangled sounding gasp at the amount.
Curious, Sabine grabbed the card, looked at it, and screamed, "WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK?!".
"Sabine, PLEASE! There are young children here!" admonished Mana, having quickly covered Wendy's ears.
Chun-Li did the same for Kanna while Wendy had covered Dusk's ears as best she could, much to the Night Fury's confusion.
"I'm sorry, mom, but… but… see for yourself!" stuttered Sabine, handing her mother the card.
And when Mana saw the amount, her eyes became as wide as dinner plates.
"HOLY COLOSSAL CURRENCY, BATMAN!" gasped Mana, censoring herself in her own way.
"N-N-Nami, how did you get that much money?" asked Izuku.
Nami simply grinned a cheeky grin and replied, "How else do you think? I stole it right out from under the Japanese Hero Commission's noses. Pretty much cleaned them out, in fact. They don't call me Cat Burgalar Nami for nothing.".
"You STOLE it!? But you shouldn't steal, it's wrong!" gasped Izuku.
"You won't be saying that when you learn about all of the shady things the HPSC has done since All Might's rise to glory. Trust me when I say that it's better off in your hands. Those idiots would have used it to destroy the world if it meant securing themselves as the ultimate power and dictating where people belong in life based on their quirks." Nami replied.
"I could fund all of Japan's heroics for decades with this. Maybe a full century, if I'm lucky." Izuku said in a dazed state.
"Well, now that you're financially secure, it's time for my gift!" Kisuke said as he slapped something onto Izuku's wrist.
"What is this? Some kind of watch?" asked Izuku.
It did indeed appear to be a high tech wristwatch, but something told him that it was much more than that.
"It may look like an ordinary digital watch, but it's much, much more than that." Kisuke said. "It not only tells time and automatically skips forward or back an hour for daylight savings, but it's also a GPS tracker, interstellar communicator, multi-equip utility tool, wireless computer, and it's keyed to your specific DNA so that only you can remove or use it. And I made sure that this is absolutely foolproof to prevent it from falling into the wrong hands. It also comes equipped with its own personal forcefield, is virtually indestructible, and machine washable, sonny-boy! That's a new feature."
"Really? Wow." said Izuku.
"But, more importantly, its primary function is to control your new robots." Kisuke added.
"What? What do you mean 'new robots'?" Izuku asked.
Kisuke opened his fan with a smile and said, "Well, you didn't think I'd be letting you become the world's greatest hero without the absolute best gear, did you?".
"Well, no, but what robots does this thing even control?" Izuku asked.
Kisuke pulled out a small disc and pulled up a 3D hologram of a robot that was crimson and black and seemed to have draconic features.
"Why, it controls the OZ-13MS Gundam Epyon, of course! This is just one of the two robots that you can control with your watch. It's a little on the small side, standing at only around fifty-seven feet in height, but it's a speedy machine that packs one hell of a punch! While it has a pair of Vulcan Guns on its head, it favors more honorable close-range combat. Equipped with a Beam Sword, Epyon Claws and Epyon Shield, and a Heat Rod, this bad boy will tear through enemy mechs like a hot knife through warm butter! And best of all, it doesn't give the user any form of biofeedback, so you won't feel pain while piloting it." Kisuke explained before switching to a hologram of a much smaller robot that has characteristics like those of an insect. "Your second robot is meant to be more of a companion and battle partner. I call it a Medabot. Within your watch is the Medabot's Medal, which is the soul of the Medabot, if you will. And with your watch, you can transport it anywhere you need to, and even interchange parts as you need to."
Looking at the two robots, Izuku could tell that these robots are definitely leagues more advanced than anything that's ever been created by man. Even the best support gear created for heroes pales in comparison to these two machines. And the Gundam Epyon… there's just something about it that looked so regal and elegant and yet showed that it was not to be taken lightly.
"But why give these to me instead of someone more qualified?" Izuku asked.
"I'm not gonna lie to you, sonny-boy. There will be many tough battles up ahead on your road to becoming the next greatest hero. Even moreso now that you have become a Celestial Guardian. I want to make sure that you have the absolute best fighting chance possible. And honestly, I can think of no one better qualified for these marvels of engineering than my own grandson." Kisuke replied.
"I guess I'm the only one left." Tsunade said, presenting a large wooden box to the boy.
Izuku opened the box and was greeted to the sight of at least a dozen large scrolls.
"What are these?" Izuku asked.
"These are the scrolls that contain all of the techniques of the Hidden Leaf Village. The techniques range from something as simple as disguising yourself as anyone or anything, to wielding the elements as if they were an extension of your body. There's also various escape tactics, teleportation, cloning abilities, healing techniques, and so much more. And best of all, I'm going to personally teach you how to use my super strength technique to augment your already increased physical power. While I can't destroy a planet like your father can, I am able to destroy a whole mountain using only one finger." Tsunade explained.
"Thank you, grandma." Izuku said, hugging the woman before picking up one of the scrolls.
Once again, he felt a buzzing sensation in his head as his mind was assaulted by images and information. Setting down the scroll, his body moved on its own as his hands blurred through signs and gestures before, in a plume of smoke, there were at least a dozen copies of Izuku in the room!
"YEEEE!" gasped Courage.
"Well, this is different." said one copy of Izuku.
"It sure is." said another.
"I kinda like it." "Me too." said two more.
While the others remained stunned by the clones, Tsunade just smiled and crossed her arms.
"Look at him. It's like he's been doing this for years." she said.
Anakin crossed his arms as his brows furrowed and said, "I don't quite get this.".
"Get what?" Muriel asked.
"Don't get me wrong, I'm glad that Izuku got so much nice stuff for his special day, but I mean, come on! A spirit guardian, a Lightsaber and knowledge on how to use it because of a psychic learning skill, a spiritual pendant, ninja techniques, robots big and small, a Bakugan, a giant hydra guardian, and a dragon for a pet." Anakin said.
"Where exactly are you going with this?" BoBoBo asked.
"Why does he need bodyguards if he has all of this?" Anakin asked.
"They're not just bodyguards. They will serve Izuku as well." Mana elaborated.
"What do you mean 'serve him'?" Anakin asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Please don't misunderstand me, Anakin, they are not slaves in any sense of the word. But while they are Izuku's bodyguards, they are also his servants. As I mentioned before, they all have their own unique skills. Ami is extremely intelligent and can help Izuku study academics and refine his analytical mind, Tohru is a maid by choice and has learned much from her older cousin and is also a talented cook, Korra is the Avatar and is well-versed in elemental manipulation and all spiritual aspects, and Orihime can read most social situations like an open book and is a skilled healer, thus she can help Izuku with his most grievous injuries." Mana explained.
"You're enjoying spoiling him, aren't you?" Anakin asked with a deadpan look.
"Yes. Yes, I am. And I'm not ashamed to admit it." Mana replied with a grin.
Anakin grinned back and said, "Well, don't go getting your hopes up that they'll give you grandchildren any time soon.".
Mana simply put a finger to her chin and hummed as she said, "I'm in no hurry. Besides, you and your wife have been trying for little ones of your own, haven't you?".
"Touche." Anakin replied with a shrug and a smile.
"Alright, now that the presents are out of the way…" Kisuke pressed a big red button causing confetti, streamers, and balloons to fall from the ceiling as he shouted, "LET'S GET THIS PARTY STARTED!".
And everyone in the room cheered in celebration as the festivities began.
Izuku couldn't remember the last time he's had this much fun in his entire life.
The whole party was so lively! Kanna and Caulifla stuffed themselves with as much food as possible, Bo-Katan and Sabine competed against each other in one of the shooting games that Kisuke had created and were neck and neck for the high score, Wendy was playing with Dusk and the Night Fury was surprisingly gentle with the child, but the one that really surprised him was how Savage was singing karaoke and doing very well. In Izuku's mind, his brother sang like an angel with a very deep voice. When the Zabrak was done, Izuku applauded Savage for his performance which caused everyone else to follow suit.
Anakin and BoBoBo were competing in a racing game, the Jedi's experience as a pod racer giving him a distinct advantage. Chun-Li and Kuvira were playing a dart game and trying to outdo each other. Muriel was sitting in a rocking chair and sewing what looked to be a blanket while Courage joined Kanna at the table to get some food. Mana and Frieza sat off to the side simply smiling, having a pleasant conversation, and overall enjoying each other's company. Alice and Nami were talking with Ben about the different kinds of aliens he could turn into, as well as the different ultimate forms that he could currently access. And Kisuke was running from another one of his own inventions while Tsunade just cackled at her husband's misfortune.
As for Izuku's bodyguards, well…
"Midoriya-Dono, would you like to dance?" Orihime asked.
Izuku went rigid and tried to stutter out a reply, his insecurities around the fairer sex rearing their ugly head once again.
"No, Mister Midoriya can't dance with you! He needs to try this new curry recipe that I prepared!" Tohru said before giving Izuku a big smile and presenting a delectable looking plate of curry with white rice and saying, "I made it special for you, Mister Midoriya.".
"Besides, I called dibs on the first dance!" Korra said, glaring at her fellow bodyguards.
"You did not!" Orihime whined childishly.
"Did so! Just now!" Korra said.
"I may be ignorant to human customs, but even I know that dibs doesn't work like that!" growled Tohru.
While those three argued, Ami quietly pulled Izuku away so he could have some breathing room.
"Are you okay, Midoriya-Dono?" Ami asked.
"I'm fine, Ami-Chan. It seems their argument is getting a little heated, though, doesn't it?" Izuku replied.
"Mm, I just hope that they don't wreck the place. Even if Tohru can magically put everything back the way it was, I'd prefer not to get scolded by your mother because those three decided to fight outside of the training room." Ami commented.
She blushed a little as she took in her master's features and silently thanked the lord for blessing her with becoming the bodyguard and servant to such a kind and handsome young man.
"Um… would you like to dance, my lord?" she asked nervously.
Feeling nervous himself, Izuku replied, "I'm… not very good at dancing.".
"It's okay. I'm not either." Ami admitted.
And so, Izuku and Ami danced to the music as a slow dance played, the blue-haired girl blushing and happy to be held by her master. A moment later, Korra, Orihime, and Tohru noticed and started fuming.
'That sneaky bitch!' they unknowingly thought in unison.
While the party continued on the ship, several powerful benefactors were watching the whole thing from a more… heavenly plain of existence. More specifically, it was three goddesses, each unique in their appearance and personalities.
The first is a tall woman who appears to be twenty-four years old with bronze skin, purple eyes, and long, straight, silvery-white hair. She also has three solid, sharp, purple triangle marks on her face. One on her forehead, and one on each side of her face. This is Urd.
The second is a twenty-one year old woman with porcelain skin, long, straight, light-brown hair, and blue eyes. She has three solid, thin, sharp diamond markings on her face. They are arranged the same way as the triangle markings on Urd's face. This is Belldandy.
And lastly, is a child who appears no older than twelve years old. She has pale skin, long, straight black hair with a single ahoge on her head, and brown eyes. Arranged on her face in the same style as Urd and Belldandy are three wide, round teardrop markings that have a small hollowed out center. This is Skuld, the youngest of the three goddesses.
"I'm impressed, Bell. You really went all out for that kid." said Urd.
"Tell me about it! Parents, aunt and uncle, grandparents on both sides of the family, brothers, sisters, cousins, pets, even a kaiju and a giant robot! And don't even get me started on that absolute classic of a car!" Skuld said as she pouted.
She wanted a car like that soooooo bad! But her sisters and father won't let her have one. Their reason? One being that she's not old enough to drive yet. And the main reason is that they know that she'll customize the car so that she can turn it into a screaming metal death trap.
"And I'm totally exhausted…!" groaned Belldandy as she flopped back on a cloud.
"What's your endgame here, Bell?" Urd asked.
"What do you mean?" Belldandy asked back.
Urd crossed her arms under her chest and said, "There hasn't been a need for a Celestial Guardian in millennia, especially since the appearance of quirks. So, why create a Celestial Guardian now?".
"Not to mention that you pulled all of those people from various points in history where they would have died, brought them back to life… well… some of them, at least… and you even aged some of them down! All while giving them a new purpose to be Izuku Midoriya's new family all because he wished for one? Why?" Skuld asked.
Belldandy just sighed and sat up on the cloud that she'd been laying on.
"I can't hide this from you, girls. A great threat is looming over the horizon. One that threatens the very existence of the multiverse. And if it's not stopped, then all of creation… the entire multiverse… will collapse." Belldandy explained. "Besides, even after All For One and the League of Villains are defeated, the world will still need true heroes. And Izuku Midoriya has the capacity to be a true hero."
"He's always wanted to be a hero like All Might, right? But so have many children. So, what makes him so special?" Skuld asked.
"Simply put, Izuku doesn't want to be a hero for the sake of being a hero. He doesn't even care about becoming rich or famous. He's just like Toshinori during his hero career. He legitimately just wants to help people. That's a rare trait in today's society." Belldandy replied.
"A man who just wants to help people…" mumbled Urd.
"But why did you do all of this for him? You could have just given him new parents that love him and be done with it." Skuld questioned further.
"It was because of his sadness, Skuld. Even from here in the heavens, I could feel it. And it was slowly tearing his very soul apart. I couldn't just sit back and do nothing, let alone do, as the humans say, a half-assed job at granting his wish. No one deserves to live the life he's lived. Besides… I like him." Belldandy said.
"You… like him?" Skuld asked.
"Yes, Skuld, I like him. He's a good person and he has great potential to become the greatest of heroes since the heroes of old. He just needs someone to love and care for him." Belldandy replied.
"Which brings us to how and why this wish was granted in the first place. Izuku's original mother, Inko, was never supposed to die in a villain attack, let alone an attack caused by some bootleg Magneto. But because you got so swamped with paperwork that day since some of the older deities decided they wanted to be lazy that day, you made a mistake and Inko paid the price for it. That's why you pushed the 'pause' button on the whole world when Izuku slipped on that banana peel, which you put there, might I add, thus giving you enough time to search the multiverse for the 'appropriate' family members. And since their worlds were already merging with this one, you simply pulled some strings and made it so that they were all either revived, or aged back so that they could live their best life with Izuku Midoriya as the family that he always needed." Urd summarized.
"Yes, that's all true." Belldandy said, looking and feeling rather sleepy.
"Was there a real point to all of this? Including making him a Celestial Guardian?" Urd asked.
Belldandy simply gave her sisters a cheeky grin and replied, "Wouldn't you like to know?".
***...To Be Continued…***
Ending A/N: AND THIS CHAPTER IS FINALLY DONE!
