113. Chapter 112

Chapter 112: Heart of the Frog Part 3: The Price for Voodoo

The group journeyed across the water following the fireflies through the Bayou on their way to visit Mama Odie, hoping she could help them break the spell and help point them in the right direction towards the Heart Piece, though a few of them believe Naveen has it. They got out of the water and got onto land, turning to face the fireflies as they waved goodbye to their new friends, happy that they led them in the right direction to get to Mama Odie's, the fireflies leaving them right as Ray said he'd take them the rest of the way.

"Don't forget to tell Angela Ray the bonjur!" Ray shouted.

"Angela, that your girl?" Tiana asked.

"No, no, no, she's not my girl." Ray replied, following them. "That would be my Evangeline."

"Evangeline?" Sweetie Belle asked. "Who's that?"

"Only the prettiest firefly ever did glow." Ray replied. "I talk to her every night. She's a bit gunshy, you know? And I knew, deep in my heart, we will be together forever."

"Aw, how sweet." Rarity said, looking to her ring. "You know, when we first met Spyro, when I first saw him, I fell in love the moment I laid eyes on him."

"What's he like?" Tiana asked.

"Oh, he's strong, brave, a true gentlecolt." Rarity replied.

"He's also very nice." Fluttershy said. "He loves animals, he's very supportive, and he's always by your side, ready to help when you need it."

"Not to mention he has a silly side, something he never tried to hide." Zecora added. "When we first met, he didn't judge or hate, I knew then that together forever would be our fate."

"Sounds like you four really love him." Naveen said. "Luna, you said he saved you from your darkness, yes?"

"He did." Luna replied. "I'll never forget that night when he banished the darkness from my heart, giving me a second chance to be happy and to be loved again. When I was younger, I was jealous of my sister, threatening to shroud our home in eternal night when I was Nightmare Moon. But Spyro was there, using his magic to free my heart of that darkness and saving me and our home from an eternal darkness that would have destroyed our world."

"Wow, you all have been on quite an adventure then." Naveen said. "Just, don't settle down too quickly. Plenty of fish in the sea."

Tiana just grew frustrated with Naveen, taking a sharp piece of rock and started to cut her way through a bush while Louis reached down to move it, getting pricked by the bush as a prickly berry remained on his finger.

"OW!" He exclaimed. "Prickle Berry bush got me! Gator down! Gator down! The darkness... it's closing in!"

"Oh will you hold still you big baby!?" Ray shouted. "Let me get that thing out of yer finger!"

"Oh, you poor thing." Fluttershy said. "Here, let me help."

"Oh for Pete sake." Rarity said. "A grown gator unable to handle a little prickly berry? So uncouth."

"Hey, you have a break down every time a speck of dirt get's on your coat!" Sweetie Belle retorted.

"Well a lady needs to look her best." Rarity replied.

"Oh for crying out loud, how does your friend Spyro deal with this every day?" Psyrox asked.

"He's got a pretty high tolerance for this kind of thing, that's for sure." Scootaloo replied.

A second later, they heard Naveen scream out, Psyrox leaping over the bush as Luna flew after him to see what had happened and to their surprise, it wasn't a Heartless or a Nobody that was attacking, it was a few human hunters after some frogs for Frog Legs. One hunter, small wearing brown and green was running to a boat while another was after Tiana, this one had two fingers on his right hand and he managed to grab her, but she used her legs to free herself, making the hunters fingers crack as he yelled out, giving her a chance to run. The hunter then got out some knives and threw them, expecting to hit Tiana, but Psyrox appeared out of nowhere, calling his Keyblades as he swiped the air behind the frog lady, deflecting the knives.

"Tiana, run!" Psyrox shouted.

"You don't need to tell me twice!" Tiana replied.

Tiana then hopped away as fast as she could, Psyrox blocking the hunters attacks and advances as he attempted to go after the little frog lady. Near the river, Ray and Fluttershy managed to get the berry out of Louis's finger, bringing relief t the gator, but then they heard the hunter who captured Naveen talk, looking to the water and saw him, but Louis saw the guns on the boat and instantly panicked.

"Hunters with guns!" Louis shouted, jumping into the prickly berry bush, annoying Ray.

"Oh, seriously man!?" Ray exclaimed. "You know how long it took me to get that-"

He looked back to the river and saw the hunter had Naveen, horrifying Fluttershy.

"Oh no, Naveen!" Fluttershy exclaimed.

"Hang on pal!" Ray shouted, flying towards the hunter. "A bug's gotta do what a bugs gotta do!"

Ray flew into the hunters nostril, making the hunter flail around as he dropped Naveen into the river as the hunter tried to get Ray out.

"Ew, disgusting!" Rarity said.

"For once I agree with you Rarity." Sweetie Belle said.

"Same here." Scootaloo said.

Back with Psyrox, he was engaged with the two fingered hunter, swinging his blades and keeping him back, backing away as the hunter got out another knife and got in a fight with him, swinging his knife while Psyrox deflected and blocked before he heard something coming in from behind, looking back to see a third hunter, the biggest one he ever seen coming at them with his club raised.

"Hold on Two-fingers!" The hunter said. "I'll help ya'll!"

Luna saw the incoming hunter and charged up her magic, firing a bolt down at his feet and causing him to stumble and fall, slipping in the mud as he flipped up and landed on the log beneath Psyrox, flinging him into the air and into a nearby tree while Tiana was unfortunate enough to get captured, being taken to the river.

"Well, that didn't go as planned." Luna said.

"Ya think?" Psyrox asked, hanging upside down in the tree near a hornets nest, trying his best not to anger them.

Back at the river, the hunters managed to get back to the boat and were paddling away while the ponies watched.

"Oh, this is bad!" Rarity said. "Really, really bad! What will we do!?"

"What else, save them!" Apple Bloom said.

"You crazy Apple Bloom!? For attacking them would be your doom!" Zecora said.

"Relax, he's got this." Psyrox said, he and Luna returning to the group.

"What do you mean?" Fluttershy asked. "Who's got this?"

"Just watch." Psyrox said.

They didn't fully understand why Psyrox was telling them to watch, but they did, watching as they saw Naveen was on top of the first hunters head, scratching it as the hunter tried to scratch his head. They all watched as the hunters raised their weapons to attack him and ended up hitting the the first hunter, giving Tiana a chance to lift the lid of her cage up an d escape, joining in on causing the hunters to hit themselves, making them hit one another with clubs, the but of a gun, even their fists, doing more damage to themselves than to the frogs, the ponies laughing as they watched the mayhem go down. After a couple of minutes to causing the hunters to hit themselves, the hunters fell into their boat, one with torn up clothing and bumps all over his head, another with some missing teeth, and the last one with a black eye.

"You know boys, them frogs ain't like the rest." The first hunter said. "They're smart."

"And we can talk too." Tiana said.

The hunters eyes widened with horror as they screamed, Tiana and Naveen jumping out right as the big guy took the paddle and rowed so hard it made the boat speed off like it had an engine, everyone on the shore laughing, some hitting their hooves on the ground, others just fallen over, holding their stomachs as Tiana and Naveen swam to shore.

"Oh my sweet Celestia!" Rarity said. "That has to be the funniest thing I've seen since we started this journey!"

"I know, right?" Naveen asked. "Who knew little stick in the mud here had a funny side to her."

"I have my moments." Tiana said. "Hey, where's Louis and Ray?"

"Over here Tiana!" Ray replied, pulling a berry out of Louis's rear. "Could someone give me a hand over here? This yellow bellied coward ended up getting his caboose covered in prickle berries."

"Oh, the poor dear." Fluttershy said. "Hang on, I'll help."

A second later, they heard someone's stomach growl, looking over to Princess Luna, who blushed from embarrassment.

"Guess I'm a bit hungry?"

"We're all hungry princess." Rarity said. "But we don't have much to eat around here."

"I can help with that." Tiana said, leaning against a pumpkin. "I can whip us up some Swamp Gumbo for everyone. Should be able to satisfy any stomach."

"You sure it's alright to be cookin' with whatever's here?" Apple Bloom asked, looking to the water. "That there water don't look alright to me?"

"Don't ya'll worry none, I'll handle it." Tiana said.

"Well, sounds delicious." Naveen said. "I'll start off with a pre-dinner cocktail and something to nibble on."

"Oh no." Tiana said. "No, no, no, no. You, your royal highness, are gonna mince these mushrooms."

"What?" Naveen asked. "Do what?"

"Mince the mushrooms." Tiana said. "Hop to it."

While the prince was busy trying to figure out how to mince the mushrooms, the other ponies decided to do what they could to help out, the fillies going around in the area for some ingredients they could all eat, some peppers, wild potatoes, and other kinds of food they believe was alright while Zecora went through the foods the fillies brought, examining them to make sure they weren't poisonous while Luna provided some light for the Zebra toy examine the food to make sure it wasn't poisonous, tossing a few mushrooms and some of the wild potatoes as they were either rotten or were a poisonous variety that caused paralysis and death. Rarity however helped Tiana turn a pumpkin into a makeshift cauldron for them to cook in and boil some of the water to make it safe to cook with before working on some makeshift bowls for everyone to put their Gumbo in. Psyrox however was in the nearby tree keeping an eye out for anymore gators or for any Heartless that might be around, looking down from time to time to see if the ponies and their friends were ok, finding they were actually laughing and having a good time helping with cooking, unable to understand the sentiment or their feelings himself since he didn't have a heart, but felt like there was something in him that was pleased they were happy.

After they managed to finally get the food ready, Rarity gave everyone a bowl and started pouring Gumbo into them, everyone eating their dinner and finding it to be to their liking, devouring the Gumbo like ravenous wolves, drinking every drop of it. As they were finishing their bowl, Scootaloo felt something nearby, looking to her right and past Apple Bloom and into the forest, sensing something dark lurk in it as she saw some shadows move, a shiver running up her spine.

"Tiana, you are an amazing cook!" Naveen said. "I truly hope you get your restaurant."

"Thanks Naveen." Tiana said. "A pleasure to be complimented by a prince."

"No, I really meant it." Naveen said, surprising Tiana. "That was an amazing dish. You truly are a wonderful cook."

Tiana looked surprised, but happy to have made him happy, smiling as she went to serve more Gumbo to everyone when she noticed Scootaloo looking into the forest, a worried look on her face.

"Scootaloo, is somethin' wrong honey?" Tiana asked.

"Oh, it's probably nothing, but... I felt something." Scootaloo replied.

"Felt something?" Tiana asked. "What do ya mean?"

"She's Force sensitive." Sweetie Belle replied. "That means she has powers to sense when something's coming. Kind of like what her brother Spyro has."

"Ok..." Tiana replied, unable to understand what she meant. "So what do you sense?"

"I don't know." Scootaloo replied. "Something... dark. And cold."

Everyone looked to the forest, trying to see what Scootaloo felt, but didn't see anything as the forest was dark and they couldn't see much of anything.

"Look, there she is." Ray said, flying up. "The sweetest firefly in the entire world."

"Evangeline!?" Tiana asked. "Where? Where is she?"

"Well it's pretty hard to miss her." Ray said, pointing to the star above. "She's glowing right up there in front of ya'll."

Everyone looked to the sky, confused as to why Ray would think the star was a firefly, let alone is one true love as they looked back to ray, music beginning to play as he flew up.

[Ray]

Look how she lights up the sky,

Ma Belle Evangeline.

So far above me, yet I

Know her heart belongs to only me.

Je t'adore, Je t'aime Evangeline,

You're my queen of the night.

So still,

So bright,

That someone as beautiful as she,

A moment later, Naveen took hold of Tiana, attempting to dance with her, but she pushed him.

"Oh, no, I... I don't dance." Tiana said, hopping away. "I don't know how to dance."

Naveen wasn't deterred by that and pulled her in, pulling the lillipad she was on to him and took her in his arms.

"Well, if I can mince mushrooms, then you can dance." Naveen replied. "Come on, loosen up a little, have fun."

They then started dancing as the music kept playing, everyone smiling as they watched the two of them dance together, finding it to be sweet as they saw how happy they were despite their situation.

Love always finds a way, it's true!

And I love you, Evangeline.

Ooh, love is beautiful,

Love is wonderful!

Love is everything, do you agree?

Mais oui!

Look how she lights up the sky,

I love you, Evangeline.

As they finished dancing, they then attempted to kiss one another, their feelings for each other starting to show, but Tiana caught herself in time to stop it, backing away as she laughed nervously.

"Well, Lotte is going to have one heck of a dance partner." Tiana said. "We... um... we best be pushing on."

The two then hopped off the Lillipads towards the ponies, however a shadow suddenly grabbed Naveen's shadow, dragging him away from everyone else.

"Tiana!" Naveen shouted.

"Naveen!" She shouted.

Without thinking, Psyrox ran towards the water and conjured his Keyblades, tossing a large chunk of ice into the water that created a path for him to run across, going after the shadows while everyone else followed behind. As the shadows were dragging the prince away from the group, he tried to grab onto anything and everything the could to avoid being taken, grabbing the root of one of the trees, but the shadows pulled him off it and were moving quickly to get away, but a bolt of light shot out and destroyed the shadow, freaking the other three out as two more bolts came out of the fog and destroyed them, the final shadow retreating to get away, but Psyrox stabbed his blade into the shadow as a pulse of light pierced through it, destroying it instantly. They then looked up to the fog, Naveen popping his head out of the water to see a shadowy figure approaching them, Rarity and Fluttershy calling their Keyblades to help fight, but Scootaloo could sense that the person coming to them was no threat to them, the fog disappearing to show an elderly blind African American woman wearing all white with gold jewelry carrying a torch, laughing as she approached.

"Not bad for a 197 year old blind lady, eh!?" She said, blowing the flame out. "Now which one of you naughty children been messing with the shadow man?" Everyone then looked down to Naveen, who gave a nervous smile as she turned. "Figured as much. It's always a man that goes messing with things they shouldn't."

"Hey!" Psyrox and Naveen said at the same time.

"Come on dearies." The woman said, walking away. "We better get back to my place before more of those things show up. Including them Heartless."

"Wait, she knows about them!?" Sweetie Belle asked.

"Of course I know about them yellow eyed beasts!" The woman said. "That's why we gotta get back to my place before they arrive. Don't wanna have to use anymore magic than I have fighting them."

They followed the woman down the swamp, unsure what to make of her until they reached a tree with a boat that was lodged into it, stairs circling the tree all the way up to the boat. They walked up the tree and once they were on the boat, they found there was a lot of pots and jars everywhere, everyone amazed by the collection of potions, charms, and other kinds of magical items.

"Wait, are you... Mama Odie?" Scootaloo asked.

"Now you ask that question!" Mama Odie replied. "Yes, I am Mama Odie. Good to see you again Ray. How's grandma doing?"

"Oh she's fine." Ray replied. "Got in trouble for flashing the neighbors again."

"Mama Odie, it's so good to meet you at last." Tiana said. "You got no idea how long and hard it was for us to find you."

"Oh, I know." Mama Odie replied. "I know all about how hard it is to find me. And it seems you picked up a Nobody along the way."

"Wait, you know I'm a Nobody?" Psyrox asked. "How?"

"I didn't." Mama Odie replied. "Ya'll just told me." She then started laughing, making Psyrox face smack himself as the elderly woman turned to Naveen and Tiana. "Now, you two wanna be human again, right?"

"Yes, we do." Tiana replied. "And we were hoping that-"

"Oh shoot, my Gumbo!" She exclaimed, smelling something was burning. "It's burning!" She ran over to a bathtub with a fire lite underneath it, stirring it. "Can't believe this. Gotta do everything around here."

"Mama Odie, if you..." Tiana said before her mouth was stuffed with a sample of the gumbo.

"Taste this!" Mama Odie said. "Well, what do ya think?"

"Hit it hard with a couple shots of Tobasca and it's the bees knees." Tiana replied.

"Juju!" Mana Odie said. A snake then popped up with a bottle of Tabasco sauce, putting a couple of hard shots in it before Mama Odie tasted it, cheering for joy. " Woo doggie. That's got some zing to it! That's what it needed. Now, do you two know what you want?"

"It's like you said Mama, we wanna be human again." Tiana replied.

"HA!" Mama Odie exclaimed, spooking the two frogs and the ponies. "Ya'll ain't know ya'll want. Ya wanna be human again, but you're blind to what you need."

"What we want and need are the same thing, yes?" Naveen asked, which Mama Odie hit him in the head with her stick.

"It's the same thing, no!" Mama Odie replied, music staring to play around them. "Hehe, you listen to your mama now."

She then backed up, starting to dance as the beat of the music started to pick up.

She then pointed to Tiana, which the prince was surprised, feeling his heart skip a beat as he suddenly felt love, watching Tiana dance, which seemed to make him really happy.

She then danced over to the ponies, who were also dancing with whoever they could, enjoying the music, pointing to Scootaloo.

Little miss filly here has one desire,

She then picked Tiana up and walked her over to the tub, holding her over it as an image of her father appeared holding her and her mother when she was younger.

A moment later, the snake cranked a wheel that sent them up to the surface where it was full of light with bottles and magic lighting the place up, providing a positive atmosphere for them as they walked and flew around.

[Mama Odie, Choir, Ponies]

[Tiana]

Blue skies and sunshine!

Guaranteed!

[Choir]

(Ahhh...)

"Now you know what you want Miss Froggy?" Mama Odie asked.

"Yes Mama Odie, I do!" Tiana replied. "I gotta dig deeper and work harder to get my restaurant!"

Everyone groaned, Tiana failing to see what she really needed as the birds in the choir flew away.

"Well, if you insist on being human, there's only one way." Mama Odie said. She then walked to the tub, stirring in the gumbo again as everyone walked up to it. "Gumbo, gumbo, in the pot, we need a princess, whatcha got!?"

A light then appeared in the gumbo, everyone looking in to see what was there when an image of Lotte appeared, fast asleep and in her bedroom.

"Lotte?" Tiana asked. "She's not a princess."

"Hush up and look at the Gumbo." Mama Odie replied.

They all watched the magical image, seeing her father dressed as a king, waking his daughter as he carried in a crown.

"That's right." Tiana said, watching as Big Daddy La Bouff put the crown on her head. "Big Daddy is king of the Marie Gras parade. That make's Lotte, a princess!"

"Wait, that counts?" Sweetie Belle asked.

"It does." Mama Odie replied. "But only until midnight tonight, when Marie Gras ends."

"Oh dear." Fluttershy said. "That doesn't give us much time."

"It's sure does!" Mama Odie said. "You got til then to have that princess kiss ya, and if so, you'll be human again."

"But, how will we get there!?" Tiana asked.

"Leave that to me." Psyrox replied. "I can open corridors into the darkness to get us there quickly before midnight."

"No, no more corridors!" Luna replied. "I'm not going into another corridor, even if it's made by one of my friends!"

"What about me Mama?" Louis asked. "I wanna be human too! I wanna play with the big boys!"

"Like I told them, you gotta dig a little deeper to get what you want." Mama Odie replied.

"And me!?" Scootaloo asked. "We want to find the Heart Piece! Is it in Naveen!?"

"Hehehe, no silly filly, it isn't." Mama Odie replied, disappointing her. "What you want to find isn't with the prince, but if you dig deeper and focus, you'll find it."

"How?" Scootaloo asked.

"You already have what you need to find it, you just gotta focus on what you want." Mama Odie replied, pushing them out. "Now get going! Ya'll got a lot of swimming to do if you plan on making it before Midnight!"

"Wait, I got a better idea." Louis said.

A little later, a river boat came down the stream, which was the fastest way for them to get to New Orleans without the use of a corridor. Once onboard, everyone then separated, Louis getting what he wanted and got to play with the big boys, getting to play jazz on the boat as everyone is dressed up in animal costumes, so he blended right in, playing his trumpet as his dream came true. However, the group then split up, Tiana, Fluttershy, Zecora and the fillies going to the rear of the ship to watch their friend Louis play with the big boys while Luna and Rarity and Luna remained with the prince, who stayed behind purposefully.

"Is something wrong Naveen?" Scootaloo asked.

"Ya'll ain't comin'? Apple Bloom asked.

"Oh, no, you go ahead, I'll catch up." Naveen replied.

Without thinking about it, the fillies and ponies, besides Luna and Rarity, rushed over to catch up with Louis to watch him play, Naveen sighing as he felt his heart beat for Tiana, which his feelings for her finally blossomed, Rarity and Luna noticing how he was looking at her.

"Seems you actually did find what you wanted." Rarity said. "You found love. True love."

"Yes, but I'm due to marry Charlotte." Naveen replied. "I really like Tiana, but I want to marry Charlotte too. What am I going to do?"

"There was a saying Spyro said to me a while ago." Rarity replied. "He told me to follow my heart as it would never lead me astray. And it did, right to him after I realized my dream prince back home was not a prince I wanted to be with. He told me that the heart always knows what it wants, despite what we might think."

"What does this mean?" Naveen asked.

"She means you should follow your heart like we did." Luna replied. "It lead us to Spyro. Where will your heart lead you?"

Naveen looked down at the floor, thinking about what they said as he saw some broken beads and some wire, picking them up, a thought coming to his mind.

"Rarity, Luna, would you help me with something real quick?" Naveen asked.

"Of course Naveen dear." Rarity replied.

The three of them walked away to a secluded spot, Rarity helping Naveen with designing a makeshift ring while Luna was busying herself, working on removing one of the beads and polishing it up to make it more presentable. After a few minutes, the sun was descending as Naveen put the ring into a walnut shell with a cloth in it, closing the makeshift box as he started to have second thoughts.

"It looks great Naveen." Luna said.

"I know, but... Naveen said, looking confused and nervous as he looked up to the star above. "Evangeline, how am I going to look Tiana in the eye, 'I will do whatever it takes to make your dreams come true, because I love you.'"

"WHAT!?" Ray shouted, the three of them looking over to see the firefly turn red with anger.

"Oh dear, bad timing." Rarity said.

"You make a goo-goo out of my girl!?" Ray said, flying over and trying to punch him, Naveen using his finger to hold him back as ray tried to punch him.

"No, Ray, you got it wrong!" Naveen replied. "I'm not in love with Evangeline! I'm in love with Tiana!"

"You are!?" Ray asked, calming down immediately and looking happy. "I knew it! I knew it! I knew it! I knew you loved her! I'll go tell her!"

"No, I'll tell her." Naveen said, grabbing Ray's wings. "Alone."

"Right." Ray replied, laughing. "You little rascal."

Naveen let Ray go, letting the little firefly leave as he cheered, leaving the frog alone with the two ponies.

"But... what about your promise t marry Charlotte?" Rarity asked. "And to help get her the restaurant?"

"Well, I'll get a job." Naveen replied. "Or two, or three! Anything to help her make her dream come true."

"Tis a noble thought to be sure." Luna said. "Well, we wish you luck in the proposal." Naveen then hopped away, leaving the two ponies alone as they watched him go to set up the atmosphere for tonight. "Do you believe she'll say yes?"

"Trust me your majesty, she'll say yes." Rarity replied. "With that ring he made and his willingness to help her accomplish her dreams, she's just gotta say yes."

On the deck of the ship, Fluttershy and Zecora were there as everyone else had already went back in for the night to continue their celebration, Tiana leaving with Naveen as he wanted to show her something. Luna and Rarity walked over to the group as the city came into view, smiling as they approached.

"It's beautiful, isn't it?" Fluttershy asked, seeing the decorations. "Pinkie would have loved to be here tonight."

"Though I agree, she would love what she would see, though I think the people would run, scream and shout if they saw a talking pony about." Zecora said.

"Make that a whole group of them." Apple Bloom said "They'd be running away faster than a pony with their tail on fire."

They all laughed at that, everyone enjoying themselves before Scootaloo looked up, still thinking about her brother as she sat down.

"I wonder where his Heart Piece is." Scootaloo said. "If it isn't with Naveen, then where is it?"

"Well, Mama Odie did say you have everything you need to find it." Fluttershy said. "And that you need to focus."

"That's it!" Apple Bloom shouted, scaring everyone. "Scootaloo, ya gotta use the Force to find it!"

"How?" Scootaloo asked.

"Focus on yer brother and the Force will show you where it is." Apple Bloom said. "It's that simple."

"I'm not so sure." Scootaloo said. "I never really tried to use the Force except to push and pull things towards or away from me."

"Well, it's the only way we got to find it." Rarity said. "Scootaloo, just try. Think about Spyro, all the memories you have of him and all the times you've been together. It might be enough to find it."

Scootaloo was hesitant about it, not knowing if she could do it or not, but she decided to try and give it a shot, closing her eyes as she only thought about her brother, the times they played together, the moments of working chores, turning them into games, him helping her, remembering everything, memories flashing by as she through about him, a tear running down her eye as she saw one when he adopted her, running up to him and hugging her, the happiest moment of her life.

"One of the best decisions I ever made." Spyro said, Scootaloo opening her eyes to see him in front of her.

"SPYRO!" Scootaloo shouted. Without thinking, she ran up to him, which he knelt down and hugged her, tears of joy running down her cheeks as she let all her sadness and sorrow out, happy to be hugging him again. "Oh Spyro... I... I missed you so much!"

"I missed you too little daredevil." Spyro said, hugging her. "I did too."

"Is... is this a vision?" Scootaloo asked. "Is this real?"

"Real, sort of." Spyro replied, ending the hug as he stood up. "A vision, yes." He indicated for her to turn around, showing her, to her surprise, that everyone was frozen, seeing herself sitting there, meditating as she walked up. "You are seeing and hearing me through the Force. Which, I am happy and grateful for."

"But, how are we able to talk to each other?" Scootaloo asked. "How is this possible?"

"Because we share a strong connection Scoots." Spyro replied, sitting down. "Our bond as siblings is strong as he love each other. As I said, family isn't one made by blood, but by love."

"So, if our bond is strong, does that mean I can talk to you anytime I want through the Force?" Scootaloo asked.

Spyro just smiled at her, motioning for her to come over, so she walked over and sat down next to her, leaning her head into his side as he scratched her ear.

"Yes." Spyro replied, hugging her. "Anytime you think about me, I'll be there. Whether you just want to talk, or you need help, I'm always there for you Scoots." She then hugged him back, glad to have him for a brother as she sat there in silence, letting the moment soak in as she wanted to be there forever, not letting him go no matter what. "Now, you're looking for something, aren't you? The vessel that holds my Heart Piece?"

"Yes." Scootaloo replied, looking up to him. "We thought the prince had it, but Mama Odie said it wasn't there. Do... do you know where it is?"

Without answering, he reached into his shirt and pulled out a pendant, which looked like the Voodoo pendant that she saw before, looking to Spyro and wondering why he was wearing it.

"The best place to hide something from darkness is near darkness." Spyro said, the pendant disappearing. "Facilier wants power, so he made a bad deal with the Voodoo Spirits. If the pendant is destroyed, they will claim his soul as payment for their services. But... you must be careful Scoots. The Heart Piece is very powerful. Holding it could be dangerous." Before she could ask what he meant by that, she felt like something was pulling her back, finding herself flying out of her brothers arms as she tried to hold onto the floor, the wood scrapping underneath her as she tried to stay with her brother longer. "Remember Scoots, I'll always be there for you... always."

A moment later, Scootaloo's eyes opened, breathing heavily as if she had run a marathon, looking around as everyone looked at her, seeing she was awake and was breathing heavily.

"Scootaloo, what's wrong?" Fluttershy asked.

"I... I saw Spyro." Scootaloo said.

"You did!?" Sweeetie Belle asked.

"Did he say anything!?" Apple Bloom asked.

"More like he showed me." Scootaloo replied. "He showed me the Voodoo amulet used by the witch doctor. Said the Heart Piece is in there."

"Wait, hold on, you're telling me the Heart Piece is in a Voodoo pendant?" Rarity asked. "Why would it be there?"

"He said, the best way to hide something from darkness is near darkness." Scootaloo replied. "Whatever that means." They then heard the ships horn blow, letting them know they had arrived and everyone could get off. "We need to hurry. If we smash it, the Heart piece will be freed and we can get it."

They then rushed off to get back to the estate, hoping to get the Heart Piece before it was too late. Up on the ship's roof, Tiana was sitting alone, having had a dinner date with Naveen and was looking up at the sky, her feelings conflicting with one another as she thought about what had happened and how sweet Naveen was for setting everything up.

"Oh Evangeline." Tiana said. "I thought I knew what I wanted... now I'm not so sure."

"The heart is a tricky thing, isn't it?" A voice asked. Tiana jumped back, screaming as she landed on the makeshift table, finding a human wearing a purple coat with black jeans sitting on the edge, looking to the sky. "It's alright, you need not be afraid of me. I'm a friend."

"Who... are you?" Tiana asked.

"You already know my name." Spyro replied, confusing her. "It's one that's been mentioned many times by my friends."

"Spyro." Tiana said, getting up and walking to him. "But... how? They said you're hearts-"

"Scattered?" Spyro asked, finishing her sentence. "It is. But... sometimes I come to provide guidance to those who need it. Sort of a ghost thing."

"So, why you here?" Tiana asked.

"To help you on the right path." Spyro replied, turning to her. "Your heart is conflicted, you don't know what you want. You want your restaurant, make your daddy's dream come true, but it's his dream. You're trying so hard to make it come true, to honor your father's memory and accomplish what he wanted to do before the war."

"Yeah." Tiana replied, sitting back down. "I thought I knew what I wanted. But... but now I'm not so sure. I want to open the restaurant to honor my daddy because I love him, but I also have feelings for Naveen."

"Ah, and the source of the conflict surfaces." Spyro said. "Tell me Tiana, when did your feelings surface for the young prince?"

"Well, just now." Tiana replied. "I never really had anyone do something this sweet for me before in my life."

"That's because you never let yourself live a little." Spyro replied. "If you spend all your life working, never making time to be with friends and to find love, then life is meaningless. No matter how many accomplishments you achieve, you will always feel like you achieved nothing. Fame, glory, recognition, none of these things matters in the long run."

"Then what do I do?" Tiana asked.

"Go to him." Spyro replied. "Tell him how you feel. He needs to kiss a princess to break the spell, but is Charlotte the only princess there is? And is Marie Gras the only way for there to be a princess, or is there another way?"

"What do you..." Tiana said, looking to Spyro, but found he was gone, leaving her alone on the roof, looking around, but didn't find him. "Mean?"

"Remember." Spyro said, his voice echoing, but only she could hear it. "Your heart already knows what it wants, what it really wants. You gotta stay true to it and if you do, everything you ever dream of will come true."

Tiana looked around more to see if she could find him, but didn't see him, wondering if she was seeing things as she hopped down, failing to notice Naveen had been captured by those shadows. Back at the estate, Lawrence was pacing back and forth while Facilier was flinging cards int his hat, Maleficent nearby looking out the window, unfazed by the situation.

"Oh, where are they!?" Lawrence asked. "The wedding is going to start any minute now! I'm doomed!"

"You're doomed!?" Facilier shouted. "No Larry, if we don't get that frog prince back soon, I'm the one that's doomed!" A second later, the whole house started to shake in on itself, the fire going out as three shadowy spirits appeared, one holding the frog prince by his feet, tossing him to the witch doctor, who caught him in his hat, tossing him up before grabbing him. "Haha, we're back in business boys!"

"Let go of me you shadowy snake!" Naveen said as Facilier grabbed his arm, holding it out as Lawrence approached with the pendant. :Lawrence, what are you doing?"

"Getting what I want." Lawrence replied. "Now hold still your eminence."

Lawrence used the amulet to make a small cut, Naveen hissing in pain as he put the princes blood into the pendant, filling it up before he put the voodoo pendant back on, turning into Naveen.

"Lawrence... why?" Naveen asked.

"I'm done being pushed around all my life!" Lawrence replied, grabbing Naveen. "I want what I always wanted... power! And you are not getting in my way of that!"

He then pulled out a chest and put Naveen inside of it, slamming the lid and locking it.

"Keep him close Lawrence." Maleficent said. "It won't be long before his friends find out he's missing and will come looking for him."

"Let them." Facilier replied, pulling out the voodoo doll of Big Daddy. "By the time they find him, it'll already be too late."

In Mardi Gras, everyone was in the middle of the crowd, everyone was watching the parade go by, trying to get to the estate.

"Ugh, drat this crowd!" Rarity said. "At this rate, we'll never get through in time to destroy that pendant."

"Have faith Rarity." Tiana said. "We'll get there."

"Oh ho, there she is!" Ray said, flying down to Tiana. "Come on now, where the ring at?"

"What ring?" Tiana asked.

"Wait, you're not... oh." Ray said.

"Ray, what's going on?" Sweetie belle asked.

"Nope, not telling." Ray replied. "Old Ray's lips are sealed."

"Ray." Tiana said.

"Alright I'll tell you!" Ray said, quickly changing his tune. "Naveen said he wasn't going to marry Charlotte, but said he's in love with you, wanting to marry you when you turn back human!"

"Really!?" Tiana asked, grabbing Ray and hugging him.

"I said too much." Ray said, breaking free from her grasp.

"You said just enough!" Tiana replied, hopping down the crowd as everyone else followed after her. "That's what all the fumbling was about! He was trying to propose." She then hopped up a pole and looked through the crowd, hoping to find Naveen. "Look out honey, for your Mardi Gras Prince is going to kiss... a frog."

Everyone looked up at Tiana, finding she looked unhappy and looked to the parade and found Naveen standing a top of a massive float, standing next to Charlotte as a priest was conducting the ceremony, Tiana sliding down the pole as she walked away from her friends, going someplace to be alone.

"Tiana, wait!" Scootaloo shouted, running after her.

A second later, everyone but Psyrox ran after Tiana, wanting to comfort their broken hearted friend while Psyrox looked to the float, glaring at the fake prince as he disappeared into the crowd, blending in with the shadows. In the towns local graveyard, everyone was looking for Tiana, looking around for her as they feared for her and how she was, her heart broken from what she saw. While they looked, Scootaloo could sense her emotions, following them until she found her near a small stone house, crying by herself as Ray flew up, the two of them walking, or in Rays case, flying up to her.

"Tiana..." Scootaloo said. "You ok?"

"No... no I'm not." Tiana replied. "I thought he really wanted to marry me, but..."

"I know what we saw with our eyes, but maybe we should go back." Ray said. "There we can find out your fairytale has come true."

"Just because you wish for something doesn't make it true." Tiana said, still crying.

"Now don't say that." Ray said. "It's like what my Evangeline said to me-"

"Evangeline is nothing but a star Ray!" Tiana snapped. "Nothing more than a big ball of hot air a million miles away! Open your eyes now before you get hurt."

"But Tiana, that wasn't Naveen." Scootaloo said.

"And how can you be sure of that!?" Tiana replied back. "He's human again! He kissed a princess and became human again!"

"But if he turned back to a human, then why didn't you?" Scootaloo asked, stopping Tiana from hopping away. "Mama Odie said that when Naveen kissed a princess, the mother of you would return to being humans. If so, then why aren't you human?"

Tiana looked at her arms, thinking it over for a second before looking back up to the filly with surprise and shock on her face.

"Golly, you're right." Tiana said. "But... if the person wasn't Naveen, then who was it?"

"Oh, I'll go and find out!" Ray said, flying off. "I'll be back lickety split!"

Ray then flew off in the direction of the Mardi Gras parade, hoping to find their friend and see what has happened to him. At the parade, Facilier was on a balcony, over looking the parades with the voodoo doll of Big Daddy La Bouff in his hand, ready to strike a killing blow as the priest was getting ready to finish up, Ray flying as fast as he could while Naveen was in the chest, ramming his shoulder against it to get closer to his butler. Ray had just arrived at the float the reception was happening on, looking around until he saw a frog tongue shoot out from the chest, flying down to it.

"Naveen!" Ray shouted, flying in front of the keyhole. "Naveen, you in there!?"

"Ray, get me out of this box!" Naveen shouted.

"Hang on, I'll get you out of that box." Ray replied.

A moment later, something tapped on the lid of the chest a couple of times and it opened up instantly, the two of them looking up to see Psyrox, looking down at them.

"Get the pendant and head to the Graveyard." Psyrox said. "That's where it will end."

A second later, a corridor opened up behind him and he walked into it, leaving the two of them alone on the float with the imposter sand the bride to be. Before they could exchange their vows, Naveen leapt up and yanked on the pendant the imposter was wearing, causing him to fall down the float and hitting the ground, Lawrence grabbing the prince and rushing into the nearby church, closing the door behind him.

"Lawrence, why are you doing this?" Naveen asked.

"Payback." Lawrence replied. "For all those years of humiliation!"

"Get your royal heinie out there on that wedding cake and finish the job!" Facilier shouted.

"And be quick about it!" Maleficent said. "The prince's friends will be coming any second now to find him."

A moment later, Naveen took the necklace off Lawrence, the butler turning back to his normal form, struggling to get the pendant back.

"What's he doing!?" Facilier asked. "Stop him, but don't kill him! We still need him alive!"

Maleficent raised her staff, dark green flames appearing in her orb as she took aim for the prince as he struggled with Lawrence to keep the pendant out of his grasp, but she stopped, looking closely at the pendant as it was swinging around and time slowed down for her, noticing a symbol on the back of the pendant that glowed purple when she said it, her eyes widening as the flames in the orb disappeared.

"The Heart Piece." Maleficent said. "It's not in the prince, it's in the pendant!"

Naveen managed to rip the pendant out of his former butlers grasp, tossing it to Ray as he grabbed it.

"Go!" Naveen shouted. "Keep it away from them! Get to the others!"

"You betcha!" Ray responded.

He flew underneath the church's side door and flew away, Facilier opening it to see the firefly flying away with the pendant. Not wanting to take any chances, he whistled, letting his friends on the other side know to chase after the firefly as they appeared from the shadows, moving across the ground to get after the bug.

"That insignificant insect won't get away from me." Facilier said, turning to Maleficent. "When our business is complete, you'll have the pendant."

"Then let us be quick then." Maleficent said. "There is not much time."

Green flames surrounded her as she disappeared, leaving Facilier alone as he walked out to get after the bug.

"You know, something that powerful could be used for a better purpose." A voice said.

Facilier turned around to see Marluxia leaning against a wall, smiling at him as he got the witch doctor's attention.

"Now who in the world are you?" Facilier asked.

"My name is Marluxia." He replied. "And you're making a mistake giving her the Heart piece. A single piece of the Prince of Light and Darkness's heart grant you the power of a god. All you need to do is reach out and take it."

"Listen, I don't know who you are or why you'd be telling me this, but I don't have time to waste talking to someone like you!" Facilier said. "I got to get that pendant back before it's destroyed. Otherwise my friends on the other side might not be so friendly to me."

"What if I were to tell you that pendant can make you stronger than your friends." Marluxia said, getting him to stop and turn to him. "The princes heart hold untold power in it. Power that not even the Voodoo spirits could come close to matching. The power to create and destroy. Life... and death." Marluxia then raised his hand up, opening a corridor and turned to the doctor, smiling at him. "If you want to use that power, just put the pendant against your chest with the symbol touching your bear skin, let it do the rest."

Marluxia then walked through the corridor, leaving the doctor alone as it closed behind him, leaving the doctor alone with questions about if the Heart Piece could grant such power. In the graveyard, everyone was waiting patiently for Ray to return, hopefully with news about their friend when they heard him calling out for Tiana, turning to see him carrying the pendant.

"Ray, what's going on?" Scootaloo asked. "Where's Naveen?" She then saw the pendant, realizing what it was as her eyes widened with surprise. "Wait, is that the pendant with the Heart Piece in it?"

"No time!" Ray said, giving the pendant to Tiana. "You's gotta keep this voodoo thingy away from the shadow man. You got to keep it away from him!" He then turned and saw the shadows flying across the ground, going up the tombstones as they smiled down at them. "Go, keep it away from him!" Without waiting to be told again, they ran away, leaving Ray behind as he turned to face them. "Don't make me light my butt!"

The shadows just laughed, finding the threat to be amusing as Ray lit his butt up, shining brightly as he flew towards the shadows, dispatching a few of them one at a time, causing them to back away from the fly as he cheered, but a second later Facilier hit Ray, smacking him into a wall and causing him to fall to the ground, clearly injured as the doctor raised his foot, crushing Ray as the shadows continued their path to the pendant, the doctor following them towards the frog who held the pendant. Tiana was hopping as fast as she could, avoiding getting grabbed by the shadows as she hopped from place to place, starting to run out of places to run as one of the shadows got close to grabbing her, but a Keyblade came from the shadows, slicing through the shadow and destroying it, turning to light as Tiana looked and saw Psyrox running next to her, cutting through the shadows like they were nothing but butter.

"Keep going!" Psyrox shouted. "I'll clear the way!"

Psyrox charged through the shadows, cutting through them as he leapt up, sending a fireball into the crowd as he ran through. Tiana followed closely behind him, looking to her left to see another shadow reaching for the pendant, laughing as it did, but another Keyblade came from above, cutting through it as Fluttershy and Luna flew through the air, cutting and blasting the shadows, destroying them as Rarity came up next to the frog, cutting through others that appeared from the right side, protecting the frogs, the fillies, and Zecora as they ran, getting cut off as the witch doctors shadow appeared, spooking Tiana as she raised the amulet, making it stop.

"Stay back, ya here!?" She shouted, Facilier arriving in time to see what was going on. "Or else I'll smash it into a million pieces!"

Without wasting time, Facilier brought out a pink powder and blew it onto Tiana, turning her human again in fancy clothing, surprising everyone. Before they could get a word out, they were pushed away from her as the scenery changed into a luxurious restaurant, playing jazz music, seeing it was her restaurant, completely speechless as she looked.

"Now ain't this better than hopping around the Bayou for the rest of your life?" Facilier asked, sipping a glass of champagne.

"Shadowman." Tiana said, backing away.

"Gotta hand it to you Tiana..." Facilier said, getting up and walking to her. "When you dream, you dream big. I mean, look at this place! It's gonna be the crown jewel of this city! And all you need to do to make this all happen is for you to give me back the talisman."

She felt tempted, feeling her heart reaching out for her restaurant, tempted to give him the pendant, but held onto it.

"No, this isn't right." Tiana replied.

"Come on now darling." Facilier said, walking past her. "Think of everything you've sacrificed. The neigh sayers who doubted you. And, let's not forget about your daddy. he was one hard working man. Double to triple shifts, never showing how beat down or tired he really was." He then showed her the memory of her father, laughing and happy to see his family until it shifted to their front porch, everyone eating their gumbo. "Shame it only amounted to a broken old Gumbo pot and a dream that never left the front porch. But you... you can give your poor daddy everything he ever wanted. Come on Tiana, you're almost there."

Tiana felt her will becoming weaker, lowering her hand to the doctors as he was ready to take the pendant back, giving into temptation, but then she saw someone that gave her hope. She saw Spyro, enjoying the gumbo along with the other people at the front porch, looking at her and seeing him smile as he nodded his head, disappearing.

"Remember." Spyro said, his voice echoing as she remembered what he said. "Your heart already knows what it wants, what it really wants. You gotta stay true to it and if you do, everything you ever dream of will come true."

"Daddy never did get what he wanted." Tiana said, looking down at the pendant. "But he had what he needed!" She lifted her hand away, keeping the pendant away from Faciliar as the red in the pendants slowly turned purple, shocking the doctor as he backed away. "He had love! He never lost sight of what he wanted, and neither will I!"

She raised the pendant up, ready to smash it as the red blood was replaced by a purple liquid, releasing a pulse of pure power that sent a shockwave across the field, breaking the illusion as it reverted Tiana back to a frog, the pendant flying in the and was about to smash into the ground, but Facilier's shadow grabbed the pendant before it could hit the ground, bringing it to Facilier as he laughed, Tiana trying to sit up and saw the the doctor had the pendant, Maleficent appeared as more of the doctors friends appeared, laughing.

"You should have taken my deal when you had the chance." Facilier said. "Now you'll spend the rest of your life as a slimy little frog." He then looked at the pendant and saw the purple color in it as power flowed through it, feeling the magic coming from it as the ponies arrived and the Nobody, the Keyblade bearers raising their weapons to the doctor. "Such power... the power to become a god."

"Facilier..." Maleficent said, her Heartless appearing around the doctor.

"Power of life and death." Facilier continued, his eyes fixated on the pendant as it reflected in his eyes. "Creation... and destruction."

"Facilier, don't do it." Maleficent said, her Heartless approaching him as his friends did.

A moment later, a wave of purple fire shot out around him, destroying the Heartless and his friends, the ponies and Nobody, coving themselves and the fillies as a ring of purple fire rose up around him, laughing as the power he wanted was flowing through him.

"I was wrong." Faciliar said, snapping the thread off the pendant. "Money isn't the ultimate power. This is."

He ripped his shirt and placed the pendant against his chest, melding into his chest as veins of purple magic shot into him, causing him to jerk his head back and look in the air, yelling out in pain as he felt the power flow through him, burning away his purple jacket as a black jacket took it's place, the tail end of it just hanging a couple of feet off the ground as his pants burned away, replaced with black pants, the symbol on his hat turning from a skull and crossbones into a dark voodoo mask, purple highlights going across his clothing as he laughed out, his cane changing into a staff with dark purple slates shooting out of it, Psyrox blocking the flames, but ended up getting sent back into a wall, falling unconscious as the flames around the doctor died, the witch doctor cracking his neck as he flexed his hand.

"Such... power." Faciliar continued, looking into the orb on his staff. "Such... pure, majestic, magic." he then shot his hand towards Maleficent and her Heartless and his friends, dark lightning with a purple glow shooting out of his hand as it destroyed the Heartless and his friends, Maleficent raising her staff to block the attack, but was eletrocuted, screaming in pain as she dropped to the ground, making the doctor laugh. "Oh baby, where have you been all my life?"

"He's... using the Heart Pieces power." Luna said. "Such... power. terrible, terrible power."

"And it's mine." Faciliar said, raising his staff into the air to attack the princess and Fluttershy, both of them dodging the attack as the lighting was sent at them. "ALL MINE!"

"What do we do!?" Apple Bloom asked, she and her friends on the ground rushing behind a tomb, the lightning hitting it as Facilier summoned a dark storm, lighting hitting the ground as he indulged in his new found power. "He's got Spyro's Heart Piece and he's even more powerful than before!"

"I don't now, but he's not keeping that pendant!" Rarity said. "You girls stay here with Zecora. I'll handle this."

Rarity ran out to fight him, raising her Keyblade to block an attack, but a bolt of lightning sent her flying backwards, over another tombstone and hitting her head, knocked out as her Keyblade disappeared.

"Rarity!" Sweeite Belle shouted.

"Stay here and keep out of sight!" Zecora exclaimed. "I'll go and keep her from loosing her light!"

Zecora then ran out to get Rarity, dodging the lightning as it came down while Fluttershy and Luna sent different spells to hit the doctor, but he just used his staff, creating a protecting barrier around himself as he laughed, firing another bolt of magic to the tomb the fillies were hiding behind as it exploded, sending three three crusaders flying backwards as he approached them, his eyes black with red irises.

"Oh, what have we here?" Facilier asked, tapping his staff on the ground. "Three innocent little fillies, all alone. Hahahahaha! You'll make a find appetizer to my friends on the other side."

"Y-y-y-ya'll keep away from us!" Apple Bloom said, the three of them backing away until they were up against a wall, starring at Facilier in fear.

"Don;t worry little filly, this won't hurt... much." Facilier said.

He raised his staff up, a dark fireball with black, blue, and purple flames appeared, growing bigger and bigger as it levitated higher and higher, the fillies knowing they needed to run, but their bodies weren't responding to what they wanted to do, shivering in fear as they watched the ball grow large, Facilier moving his staff to point at them as the ball flew at them, the fillies watching as it flew to them, closing their eyes as they waited for the inevitable.

"Spyro, please... help me." Scootaloo said. "Help us. We need you. I need you."

The fireball then hit the ground, exploding and creating a cloud of black smoke, Rarity waking up and shaking her head as she saw the ball of fire hit the spot where her sister was.

"SWEETIE BELLE!" Rarity shouted.

In the smoke, the fillies thought they had died, not feeling any pain as they believed they would feel a great deal of pain, cracking their eyes open to see what happened, their eyes opening all the way in surprise as they saw they were in a golden dome, a protective barrier around them as the flames outside burned around them, gawking at the barrier protecting them. They then saw someone in front of them, standing before them with his back to them as whoever it was starred at them flames, turning to look at them and saw it was Spyro, feeling joy as they saw him, smiling at them.

"Need a hand?" Spyro asked.

Outside of the smoke, Rarity had collapsed onto the ground, crying and bawling her eyes out as she believed her sister was gone, Zecora's eyes wide with horror as was Luna's and Fluttershy's, looking to the cloud of smoke as Facilier laughed, tapping his staff on the ground as he turned to walk away.

"Let this be a lesson to you kiddies." Facilier said. "You mess with the Shadowman, you get the full shadow treatment."

Rarity got up and called her Keyblade, rage and anger boiling out of her as she wanted revenge for her sister, getting ready to charge at him when they heard what sounded like glass shattering, Facilier turning to see what had just broke when a light in the smoke started to shine out, the smoke swirling around as an ethereal purple dragon shot out of the smoke, roaring out as the doctor backed away in fear, not understanding what it was as everyone else smiled, Psyrox waking up and rubbing his head, looking to the air as he saw the dragon flying up into the sky. A moment later, three more lights shot out of the smoke, turning into a yellow earth pony, a white unicorn, and an orange Pegasi, neighing like a horse as they circled the purple dragon as it flew higher and higher into the air, colliding with the massive purple dragon as the four lights, purple, yellow, white, and orange shot out, blinding everyone as they covered their eyes. However, when the light died down, before the doctor could even make a move, he was struck in the gut, flipping around a few times as he landed face first into the ground, almost breaking his neck as he shook his head, looking up and behind as he saw who it was, his eyes wide with shock when he saw him and the ponies while Psyrox just smiled, almost laughing when he saw him.

Before everyone stood Spyro, but this time he was wearing both his jacket that had yellow on his right side with an Earth pony shoulder guard on, his Robert side white with a unicorn should guard on and the middle orange with a Pegasus head on the chest, his arms, legs, and Torso wearing purple and gold armor while his head had on a dragon shaped helmet, a dragons while he was wearing to their surprised to be a form of skates, but it was a single hollow circle built into the boots, keeping his balance as he seemingly skated without even breaking a sweat. He raised his arm and from the sky, three new Keyblades appeared, spinning around as they descended from the sky. The first blade looked similar in style to the one he gets when fusing with Applejack, but instead of three apples, it was a single apple slice for the teeth, the handle of the blade looked like a pink bow at the center of the guard with a golden lasso around it with red apples decorating it, the Keychain a single red apple at the end of it.

The second blade looked to be a silver rod with cords of music going around it, purple and pink in color with notes in it, going up and around the rod as it moved and a few music notes for the teeth of the blade. The guard of it was a star that went around it, notes decorating the corners of the blade as a G Clef adorned the center of the guard, the same G-clef at the end of a silver keychain. The final Keyblade that came down was shaped like a sword, but at the tip of it was four scooter wheels with three wings on the right side of the wheels with a single large orange wing on the right, two more wings on both sides of the handle, shaped like a guard with a dragon's head in the center of the guard and at the keychain was two wings shaped in a hear, the wing on the right looking like a Pegasus wing while the one on the left looked like a dragon wing. The three blades continued to spin in a circle as they turned to spin behind Spyro's back, his hair growing as yellow, orange, and white appeared as it grew, a pinki ribbon flying around as it flew up his hair, tying at the top as he turned to face him, pointing at him.

"Now, count up your sins." Spyro said, his voice mixed with Scootaloo's, Apple Blooms, and Sweetie Belles.

"Son, I don't know who you are, but you made one serious mistake." Facilier said, standing up. "Do you think you have what it takes to take on the Shadowman!?"

"Wait, you think I don't stand a chance against you?" Spyro asked. "Buddy, I think you're on the wrong floor because you are nowhere near my level."

Before Facilier could do anything, Spyro suddenly zoomed towards him, striking him in the gut as the doctor collapsed to the ground, surprised to have felt such an attack so fast and without a chance to protect himself. He then got up and unleashed a storm of dark lightning, Spyro skating along and weaving through the tomb stones and up the buildings, the unicorns eyes glowing as a chord of musical notes appeared from his shoulder, spinning around before it expanded outward, blocking the attack as another chord of music created another path, skating down and around the doctor while he took the Keyblade with the music notes on it, instruments appearing as they played, musical notes coming out of the instruments shot out towards the doctor. He tried to protect himself, but Spyro was skating too fast and was keeping ahead of his barrier, musical notes hitting him from in front, behind, the side, from above and below, the final note hitting him in the head as he staggered backwards, Spyro riding the chord down as he slashed through the doctor, dealing a heavy blow as he flew backwards, slamming into a wall, but got back up for more.

"Heh, nice one kid." Facilier said, disappearing into the darkness. "But I have other ways of dealing with you."

A second later, multiple shadows appeared around him, circling him as they laughed, all of which looked exactly like the doctor as they spun around, but Spyro wasn't fazed, raising his arm as the Keyblade with he apple slice appeared in his left hand.

"Nice shadows, trying to hide your ugly mug?" Spyro asked. He looked at the shadows, one of which lunging towards him from behind, but Spyro just ducked right, avoiding the attack as the shadow merged back with the rest, doing this several times as the shadowman tried to land a hit, releasing dark fire and lightning at him while also using some dust to try and create an illusion, but Spyro just spun his Keyblade and sent the dust somewhere else, avoiding it all together. "Keep it coming bud because I can keep this up all night."

He then plunged his hand into a random shadow, pulling Facilier out and slashing him multiple times, skating around and past him as he moved faster and faster, moving so fast he was a literal blur, the final hit in the combo a kick to the jaw as it sent him flying into a bush, birds flying around his eyes as he got up, rubbing his head.

"Ok, definitely underestimated you." Facilier said, getting up.

"Underestimating me? What fun." Spyro replied, striking the ground and causing sparks.

"Still, you can't defeat me." Facilier said. "I have all the power in the world!"

"Yeah, yeah, Jafar said the same thing." Spyro replied. "You two would get along great. All the power in the world, but with an itty bitty package."

Facilier then lashed out, unleashing a dark storm of lightning at Spyro, but he just skated away, dodging the lightning before using his Keyblades, blocking the attacks before leaning towards the doctor and going past him, slashing through him again, but this time he reached for the pendant, but Facilier just grabbed the pendant, preventing him from taking it. Spyro then skated around, turning to face the doctor as he released another wave of lightning, but this time, Spyro caught it much like Yoda did when he cause Count Dooku's Force lightning, sending it back to Facilier and sending him backwards, getting a taste of his own medicine as he fell tot he ground, smoke coming off him after getting hit by his own power.

"Return to sender." Spyro said, skating towards the doctor.

Y-you think you've won?" Facilier asked, standing up, but used his staff to steady himself. "I-I will make you pay for all the damage you have caused me. You will pay!"

"Speaking of paying..." Spyro said. He then rushed forward, leaping towards the doctor as the three blades flew to his foot, kicking outward as the blades came together, their tips pointing towards the doctor as he hit the doctors, acting like a drill as it went straight through the doctor, causing him to collapse to the ground, skidding to a halt as he spun around to face him. "You have a debt to settle, don't you?"

"I-I-I will destroy you." Facilier replied, getting up and facing him, stumbling and wobbling as he turned to face him. "Your friends, that prince, EVERYONE will pay. Tiana and Naveen will remain as slimy little frogs, your friends will be used to satisfy my friends on the other side, and I will be running this town!"

"Yeah, see, there's a few things wrong with that." Spyro said. "First things first, frogs aren't slimy, they secrete mucus. Second, I won't let you do any of that as those who fall into darkness will be swallowed by it. And third..." He then raised his hand, revealing he was now holding the pendant. "Aren't you missing something?"

Facilier reached for his chest, finding he no longer had the pendant as its power left him, his clothing returning to normal as he looked up at Spyro in horror.

"N-n-now friend, let's talk this out." Facilier said. "I'm sure we can come to an agreement. I mean, every man has his price."

"Yes, they do indeed." Spyro replied, Facilier smiling as he walked to him. "But so does magic. It's time you paid the piper."

He then crushed the pendant in his hand, releasing a storm of voodoo magic along with the Heart Piece, appearing as a golden light as it flew in the air, Spyro moving back as Facilier rushed to the broken pieces of the Pendant.

"NO!" Facilier shouted, picking up the pieces. "How am I gonna repay my debt!?" Music was playing as he looked up, the ponies watching with shocked expressions as they saw the masks come from the earth, flying down towards him. "Friends!"

"No, I'm not ready at all!" Facilier replied, backing away. "In fact, I got lots more plans!"

"This is just a minor set back in a major operation!" Facilier replied. The ground shot up as some voodoo dolls came up, smiling at him as they approached. "Look, as soon as I whip up another spell, we'll be back in business! I still have that froggy prince locked away! I just need a little more time."

"Sorry pal, but your time is up." Spyro replied.

The massive voodoo mask appeared behind Facilier, causing him to scream and run away, but a shadowy hand grabbed his shadow, pulling him back towards the mask as Facilier tried to grab onto something to save himself, grabbing Spyro's leg and making him deactivate his skates and dig into the ground.

"Please, help me!" Facilier pleaded. "I'll give you what ever you want! Just save me!"

"What you can give, I don't want." Spyro said, leaning down to face him, kneeling down as Facilier started to slip. "I already have everything I need."

Spyro then punched Facilier in the eyes, causing him to let go and get dragged back as he screamed, pleading for help while everyone watched in pure shock at the doctor get dragged to the massive mask.

"Please, just a little more time!" He pleaded, the dolls playing the drums as the masks sung, Facilier looking in horror at the large voodoo mask. "I promise to pay you all back! I promise! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

he then then dragged into the massive mask as the rest followed after him, the mask closing and ending the scene as everyone closed their eyes, light flashing as the mask closed it's mouth. They then looked back to the mask to see what had happened, finding the shocked expression of Facilier on a tombstone, showing he was no more.

"What... just... happened?" Sweetie Belle asked, talking through Spyro as the others came up.

"This is the price you pay for messing with the supernatural." Spyro replied, walking up. "When you mess with dark forces, you pay a heavy price. If you're not ready to pay the bill, don't go about practicing what you don't understand."

"Spyro." Luna said.

The four ponies rushed towards him, kneeling down to them as he hugged the four ponies, all of them happy to see and hear him again after a little while.

"Spyro, it's good to hear your voice, but why not save him, it was an easy choice?" Zecora asked, looking back to Facilier's tombstone.

"Sometimes people can't be saved." Spyro replied, ending the hug. "He was in too deep with the voodoo spirits, so even if I did save him, his soul would still be taken by the spirits as compensation for their services." He then looked back to the clock, finding they were running out of time. "You better hurry. Naveen doesn't have much time. Marie Gras is almost over."

"But... the Heart Piece..." Apple Bloom said, looking to it as it flew into the air.

"The riddle is not complete." Spyro replied. "Only a princess can break the curse, but come midnight, it will be too late. But Mardi Gras isn't the only way you can get a princess to kiss you."

"What does that mean?" Scootaloo asked.

"When it becomes day, you'll see." Spyro replied.

He suddenly started to glow, the fusion ending as the three fillies were all that stood where their friend once was, looking around to see where he was before running into town, hoping they weren't too late. They then entered town, finding that Naveen was talking to Charlotte, getting ready to kiss him when they heard Tiana shout from behind the building, the ponies running up as they had arrived.

"Naveen, wait, please don't do this." Tiana said.

"Tiana, I have to." Naveen said. "And we are running out of time."

"I won't let you." Tiana said.

"It's the only way for you to get your dream." Naveen replied.

"My dream?" Tiana asked, her heart belting from the sentiment. "My dream wouldn't be complete without you in it." Naveen turned back to look at her, clearly surprised by what she said before looking up to the ponies, everyone smiling at them both before looking back to Tiana. "I love you Naveen."

Naveen felt his own heart melt, finding exactly what his heart truly desired as he stood up on his long legs, walking over and picking up Tiana, the two standing close together as they gazed into each others eyes.

"Warts and all?" Naveen asked.

"Warts and all." Tiana replied.

As they said it, both Rarity and Charlotte geared up, finding this to be a very touching moment as Charlotte wiped away her tears.

"All my life I've read about fairytales and true love." Charlotte said. "And you found it Tia. You found true love. I'll kiss him and break the spell, no marriage required."

She picked up Naveen, the both of them puckering up, but as they were about to kiss, the bell rang, everyone looking to the clock on the church in horror as it was exactly midnight, failing to finish what they started.

"Oh no!" Sweetie belle exclaimed. "We're too late!"

"Oh, oh maybe that clocks a little fast!" Charlotte said. She then kissed Naveen, pulling him back, but it didn't work, so she tried multiple times, hoping to make it work, but it didn't work, failing to break the spell on them. "I-I'm so sorry."

"Don't be darling." Rarity said, surprising Charlotte. "We took too long."

"Did that horse just talk?" Charlotte asked.

"Tiana, Naveen!" Louis shouted, running up to them. Everyone ran up to the panicked gator, who was holding something in his hands that was glowing, fearing the worse as they arrived. When they got to Louis, they saw Ray in his hands, his light flickering as Sweetie belle gasped, seeing their friend in such a state as everyone else's eyes were wide with horror and sadness.

"Ray." Tiana said.

"H-hey Tiana." Ray said, fighting to stay alive. "H-how come ya'll are still frogs?"

"We're staying frogs." Tiana replied.

"And we're staying together." Naveen said.

"Aw, good." Ray said, struggling to breathe. "I like that very much. And Evangeline like that too."

"Ray, stay with us." Luna said. "Rarity, Fluttershy, use whatever kind of magic you can and-"

"No." Psyrox said, walking up. "The damage is too great. The cure spell won't work. He mad the greatest sacrifice in this world. Helping his friends until the bitter end."

They all looked to Ray, seeing him look to the sky as he looked to the star above, slowly closing his eyes as his light went out, succumbing to his wounds as it started to rain, everyone shedding tears for him as it rained. A little while later, they were back in the Bayou, Louis pulling them along a raft as everyone gathered around, his family and his friends as they placed flowers into a leaf they used to put his body in as they pushed it down the river, letting the current of the river take him away from them as Louis played a sad tune with his trumpet, the leaf disappearing into the fog as they closed their eyes for him. A second later, it got brighter in the night, everyone opening their eyes to see what was causing the light when they saw, to their surprise, a second star next to the first one, everyone smiling as they cheered, Ray having gotten his wish of being next to Evangeline.

The next day, everyone had gathered in the middle of the Bayou, animals from all around watching as Tiana and Naveen were getting married, the ponies on either side of the bride and groom as Mama Odie was the one who was conducting the wedding, acting as a priest for this wedding.

"And... by the power invested in me, I pronounce ya'll frog and wife." Mama Odie said. "Get to it hop along, give your new wife some sugar."

The two f them looked to one another, leaning into each other as they finally kissed, a golden light shining in between them as the water shot up, surrounding them both as the light shined brighter and brighter, covering them as the Heart Pieces Symbol appeared in the sphere of water, spinning around until it stopped on the unicorn head, Rarity's Keyblade appearing next to her. She then leapt backwards, spinning the blade around before pointing it at the Symbol and a beam of purple and white light shot out of the tip of her blade, entering the Keyhole and making a clicking sound. The dragons eyes then turned white as it opened it's mouth, roaring out as a golden orb of light shout out of it's mouth and into the air, rocketing across the sky as the water orb disappeared, revealing Naveen and Tiana were back to normal, Tiana wearing a wedding dress as Naveen was wearing his royal garments, opening their eyes and to their surprise, they were human again.

"I told ya'll." Mama Odie said. "Kissing a princess breaks the spell."

"Wait, Tiana wasn't a princess." Scootaloo said. "The first kiss failed, why did it work this time?"

"Because when she became Naveens wife, she became a princess." Rarity replied. "It's true what they say, love will find a way."

"And it seems they weren't the only ones that got what they wanted." Mama Odie said.

"What does she mean?" Naveen asked.

"When you two kissed, the Heart Piece revealed itself." Fluttershy replied.

"It was hidden in the pendant, but only when you became husband and wife did it complete the rhyming chant." Zecora said.

"That means we now have four Heart Pieces!" Apple Bloom exclaimed excitedly. "We're getting closer to bringing Spyro back!"

"Slow yourself Apple Bloom dear, for we have a long road ahead of us I fear." Zecora said. "For we may now have four pieces of the heart, eight remain worlds apart."

"Well, we came this far, no way we're stopping now." Rarity said. "Uh, but there's just one thing... how are we getting to the next Heart Piece?"

In the space above the Swamp of Frogs, the Harmony had come out of Warp Space, good as new and entering the world's atmosphere, seeing the world before them that their friends are on.

"Well, we arrived back at the Swamp of Frogs without being attacked." May said, guiding the ship closer to the world. "Right, better get you girls down there to-"

"LOOK!" Pinkie shouted.

She pointed ahead and everyone looked to see what she saw, seeing a golden light shoot towards them as the book in Twilight's saddle bag shook, popping out of her bag as the light passed through the glass and hit the dragons head on the book, the dragon's eyes glowing white as the frog on the cover went from gold to emerald green, making a ribbit sound as it did so.

"We have it." Twilight said, smiling from ear to ear. "The fourth Heart Piece. We're one-third of the way there!"

"AW YEAH!" Rainbow Dash exclaimed, thrusting her hoof into the air. "Four down, eight to go!"

"We're doing great!" Cadence said. "At this rate, we'll have him back before the start of May."

"Let's not get our hopes up too soon princess." May replied. "Let's get our friends first before we move on."

May called her Keyblade and tapped it on the ground, raising it up as light shined into the cockpit of the ship. Back on the surface of the world, everyone was walking out of the forest when they spotted something shining in the sky, the ponies knowing what it was as they stopped.

"Well, looks like our friends have returned." Fluttershy said.

"Where?" Luna asked. "I don't see them."

"They're in the sky." Rarity said, looking up. Luna then looked up and saw the same light, now understanding what Fluttershy meant.

"Ya'll leaving?" Tiana asked. "So soon?"

"I'm afraid so darling." Rarity said. "Now that we've got the fourth Heart Piece, we have to move on."

"Will we see you again?" Naveen asked.

"Someday, maybe." Fluttershy said, walking up and hugging him. "Until then, we'll always remember you."

Naveen and Tiana hugged the yellow Pegasus before walking back to her friends, the Alicorn princess walking up to them as well as. A moment later, they were surrounded in light as it grew brighter and brighter, a single ball of white light shooting into the air and into the stars, Tiana and Naveen watching as their friends flew into the stars, shining for a moment before it disappeared into the morning sky.
