Chapter 153: The Lion, The Witch, and The Key Part 1: A Frizen World Awakens

It was the middle of the night in Equestria and everyone was peacefully asleep, snoozing away in their beds and dreaming sweet dreams, but in Spyro's garage, the frame f the portal was starting to glow, the portal itself turning blue as a humanoid woman appeared, still wearing a white fur dress with a crown made of ice and a large wand made of crystals, smiling to herself as she started to hum, her humming getting louder and louder, reachign the farm house. In the fillies room, Scootaloo, Apple Bloom, and Babs Seed were peacefully sleeping, each of them happily snoozing until the humming reached their room, which Scootaloo scrunched up her face, movign around a bit as she used her pillow to block out the sound, but it caused her to wake up instantly, looking around to see what was causing the humming when it stopped, looking down at the bunk below and seeing Apple Bloom sleeping, her snoring sounding a lot like the humming, taking her pillow and throwing it at Apple Bloom, waking her up.

"Hey, what's the big idea?" Apple Bloom asked.

"Will you knock off that snoring!?" Scootaloo exclaimed quietly, not wanting to wake the others. "You woke me up!"

"Ah don't snore!" Apple Bloom replied.

"Do too!" Scootaloo said.

"Do not!" Apple Bloom replied.

"Ugh, will you both please go back to sleep?" Babs asked, waking up. "It's litterally the middle of the night."

"Well it's not mah fault that ya woke up!" Apple Bloom said. "Scootaloo started it!"

"No I didn't!" Scootaloo replied. "You woke me up with your-" She then stopped when she heard the humming again, looking to the window as did the other fillies. "Ok, I'm not the only one who heard that, right?"

"No, I heard it too." Babs replied. "What is that?"

"Yer askin' us?" Apple Bloom asked.

The fillies got out of their beds and went to the window, looking out to see what it was, but saw nothing, confusing them as they looked at one another.

"Ok, this is weird." Babs said.

"Spyro always told me, you hear creepy music, don't investigate." Scootaloo said. "You go the other way and survive. Same goes for dolls. For some reason, he hates dolls. And clowns."

"Clowns?" Babs asked. "He hates clowns?"

"Trust me, you mention clowns, he goes into a full rant about how he hates them." Scootaloo answered. The humming started again, this time it was louder and they looked to Spyro's garage. "It's comng from the garage."

"Hey, doesn;t Spyro have that kyber stuff in his garage?" Apple Bloom asked.

"The False Kyber?" Scootaloo asked, realizing what she was meaning by it. "Hey yeah, he does! And Kyber Crystals grow from False Kyber!"

"I'm confused, what's this Kyber you're talking about?" Babs asked.

"Kyber Crystals are lightsaber crystals!" Scootaloo replied.

"Your joking!?" Babs asked. "You think it's a Kyber Crystal!?"

"Yeah, and if we're all hearing it, then that means we'll each get a crystal and that you and Ah are Force Sensitive!" Apple Bloom said excitedly. "Meanin' we could possibly be Jedi!"

"Well what are we waiting for!?" Scootaloo asked. "Let's go get our crystals!"

The fillies got off the window sill and rushed to the bedroom door, being careful not to wake anyone up cause both Scootaloo and Apple Bloom know what Spyro's like when he doesn't get a good nights sleep. They sneaked past Winona so she didn't wake up the whole house and get all three of them in trouble, sneaking to the garage and opening the door, seeign the portal in the middle of the room along wiht the barrier keeping it contained.

"Wow, what is that?" Babs asked.

"Beats me." Scootaloo replied. "Right now, I'd like to see where our Kyber Crystals are and get a lightsaber!"

"Me too!" Apple Bloom said. "It would be so cool if the three of us became Jedi together!"

However, they didn't go very far when they spotted cuple of ice crystals glowing, making the whole portal glow as bright as a light bulb, catching the fillies off guard..

"Why the heck is that thing glowin' like that?" Apple Bloom asked.

"Your asking me?" Scootaloo asked, the light dying down as they saw some of the ice crystals still glowing. "Hey, I think those are our crystals."

"Awesome!" Babs said. "Let's get in there then!"

"How do ya shut this thing down?" Apple Bloom asked.

"I think he keeps a hard restart button on the terminal up there." Scootaloo said. "AIVA will only listen to him, so restarting this thing will shut the barrier down and we can get our crystals."

"Ah'm on it!" Apple Bloom said.

She ran up to the terminal, going up the stairs and pushing some boxes over to get up there, hopping onto the boxes before looking over eveyrthing, which she didn't understand how to use the thing at all, so she pressed a random button and a disco ball came down, playing loud music that spooked the fillies, Apple Bloom pressing the same button as they all froze, looking to see if Spyro was awake, but nothing happened, relieving them.

"What the heck Apple Bloom!?" Scootaloo said.

"Sorry!" Apple Bloom replied, still being quiet. "Ah don't know which one it is!"

"Its the yellow button." Scootaloo replied.

"Which yellow button?" Apple Bloom asked. "He's got a lot of yellow buttons on this thing!"

She then pressed another random button and a hatch opened up, revealing a Holy-G engine, powerig up and making the fillies dive for cover as it roared to life, hitting the barrier and causing it to short out, the barrier fading as they looked up.

"Containment barrier disabled!" AIVA said. "Restoring barrier now! T minues thirty seconds!"

"That'll work." Scootaloo said. They approached the protal slowly, makign sure it was safe as they approached the portal, Scootaloo reaching out and grabbing one of the glowing ice crystals, pulling it off, but it then turned to water, shocking her. "It's just ice."

"Wait, seriously?" Babs asked. "So they aren't Kyber?"

Before anyone could answer, the air around them started to get colder, looking at the portal as polar winds came out, slowly encircling the fillies, which they got spooked and ran away from the portal, rushing for the door, but the winds grew stronger, forcing the fillies to stop and close their eyes as an invisible force wrapped around them, pulling both Scootaloo and Babs into the portal, going through as they screamed in fear while Apple Bloom held onto the terminal, screaming as she held on for dear life until the barrier reactivated, cutting off the winds and everything was warming up.

"Barrier restored!" AIVA said. "The barrier is now working at maximum efficiency."

"AIVA, Scootaloo and Babs... they got sucked into the portal!" Apple Bloom exclaimed.

"Confirmed!" AIVA announced. "It appears there is some kind of power stirring in one of the worlds beyond the ones that have been mapped out. This one appears to be only waking up."

"Waking up?" Apple Bloom asked, looking at the portal. "Oh, Spyro is going to be so angry, but I need to tell him what happened!"

The filly then ran out of the garage, making her way back to the farm house to let Spyro and Applejack know what had happened while the portal changed from blue to red again, an image of the lion appearing for a moment before disappearing. Elsewhere, Scootaloo was just stirring awake, shivering as she woke up and fnding herself in the middle of a snowy forest, shivering at how cold it was as she got up, shaking some of the snow off before finding Babs nearby, moving over and shaking her, which she groaned as she woke up.

"What'ss going on?" Babs asked, getting up and shaking herself off, seeing the snow. "Snow? In the middle of June?"

"I don't think we're in Equestria anymore." Scootaloo replied, looking around to see some hibernating trees and some pine trees. "This is no forest I'm familiar with."

"How did we get here?" Babs asked. "All I remember is being in Spyro's garage and now I'm here."

"I think we got pulled through the portal." Scootaloo said, looking back to see their was no sign of the portal behind them, shivering at how cold it is. "And I can't find the portal either."

"So we can't go back!?" Babs asked, shivering as she rubbed her forelegs. "It's freezing here! How do we get home!?"

"Don't worry, if I know my brother, he'll find us." Scootaloo replied. "Come on, let's find some shelter before we freeze."

The fillies started to trudge through the snow, going through the forest to try and find someplace they could stay in and get a fire started, but as they went through the forest, they soon came to see something odd along their path, which was a gas powered lamp post, the flames lit and burning brightly as if trying to get their attention.

"A street lamp?" Babs asked. "What the heck is it doing here?"

Before they could get a straight answer, a sound suddenly came, forcing the fillies to hide behind a tree and a bush, looking out and seeing a little girl come to the post, wearing a green light jacket with a brown dress, approaching the lamp, looking around at the world in wonder and amazement as she touched the lamp post, mystified by everything around her. As the fillies watched, one of the stepped on a twig and caused it to snapp, the girl looking in their directiona nd spotting Babs, who hid behind the tree, hoping she wasn't spotted.

"Hello there." The girl said.

"Shoot, she saw me!" Babs said, whispering to Scootaloo.

"Don't say a thing." Scootaloo said. "She think's we're just animals. Don't say a word, trust me."

Scootaloo and Babs popped out, both nervous as they approached her as the little girl knelt down to them.

"Aw, you're both so cute." The girl said. "Where are your parents? Are you cold?"

The fillies didn't say a thing, not wanting to let her know that they could talk, but then another twig snapped, causing them to feel scared as they looked around, not knowing what it was as they backed away towards the lamp, looking around as they heard something walking around, trying to pin point what it was. Finally, a half man, half goat creature wearing a red scarf, holding a parasol and carrying parsols came from behind a tree, causing the girl and the fillies to scream, scarring the goat man so bad, he dropped everything and hid behind the tree while the girl hid behind the lamp post, the fillies hiding behind her. When they looked back out at him, they saw how spooked he was. The girl then walked out from behind the lamp post, approaching the packages ont he ground and picking one up, the goat man coming out, stumbling with his words as he approached, shaking in fright.

"Were... you hiding from us?" The girl asked, the fillies following close behind as they watch him take the package back from the girl.

"Ye- uh, uh, no, no I wasn't." The goat man replied, walking around them and picking everything else up that he dropped. "I just... I didn't want to scare you. Any of you."

"A little late for that." Babs said, which Scootaloo looked at her and put her hoof over her mouth.

"You can talk!?" The girl asked.

"Nice going Babs." Scootaloo said, removing her hoof. "Yeah, we can talk. I'm Scootaloo. And this is Babs Seed."

"Nice to meet you Scootaloo and Babs Seed." The girl said. "I'm Lucy Pevensie."

"And I'm Tumnus." The goat man said. "A pleasure to make your acquaintance."

"If you don't mind me asking Mr. Tumnus... what are you?" Lucy asked.

"Why I'm a faun." Tumnus replied. "And what are you? Some kind of beardless dwarf?"

"I'm not a dwarf, I'm a girl." Lucy replied, picking up more packages. "I'm actually the tallest in my class."

"Wait, so you mean to tell me that you're a daughter of Eve?" Tumnus asked.

"Well, my mother's name is-" Lucy began to say before being interrupted.

"Yes, but you... you're a human, right?" Tumnus asked, seeing a twinkle of light in his eyes.

"Well, yes, I am." Lucy said, confused as to why he'd ask that.

"W-what are you doing here?" Tumnus asked.

"Well, I was hiding in the wardrobe in the spare room-" Lucy said.

"Spare room?" Tumnus asked. "Is that in Narnia?"

"Narnia?" Scootaloo asked. "What the heck is Narnia?"

"Well, Narnia is where you're at." Tumnus replied, picking up more of his stuff. "Everything from the lap post, all the way to Castle Care paravel on the eastern Ocean." They looked in the distance, seeing a castle in the far distance. "Every stick, rock, and icicle, is Narnia."

They all were amazed at what they were seeing, which they found the world beautiful all around them as they looked.

"This is an awfully large wardrobe." Lucy said.

"Oh my, you're all freezing." Tumnus said, noticing the fillies shaking. "If you would like, my home isn't too far away. How would you and Ms. lucy Pevensie, from the shining city of Wardrobe and the land of Spare room, like to come and have some tea with me."

"Is there a fire there?" Babs asked.

"Of course." Tumnus replied. "It's just around the corner. There will be a glorious fire with tea, cakes, toast-"

"You had me at fire." Scootaloo said.

"Well, I should be getting back home." Lucy said.

"But it will only be but a moment or two." Tumnus said. "Plus, it's not every day I get to make a new friend."

"Well... I suppose I can come for a little while." Lucy replied, picking up the last package. "If you have some sardines."

"By the bucket load." Tumnus replied.

Yumnus opened his parasol and Lucy took his arm, excorting her and the fillies to his home, traversing the snow while also pointing out some things that they might find interesting as they went. After a few minutes of trudging through the snow, they soon reached a door in the side of a small mountain, walking to it and opening the door for the faun and walking it, finding the place to be cheery and warn, perfect for them as there were a few shelves of items, a small kitchen area, and a stairway that went up, looking around until they saw a table with a picture of another faun, approaching it.

"Whose this?" Babs asked.

"Ah, that's my father." Tumnus replied, locking the door behind him.

"He has a nice face." Lucy said as Tumnus put the key above a cupboard shelf. "Looks a lot like you."

"No." Tumnus replied, sounding upset. "I'm not much like him at all really."

Scootaloo could sense that something wasn off, tumnus was hiding something as he was preparing the food.

"My father went to war." Lucy said.

"So did mine." Tumnus said, sounding happy before changing things a bit. "But that was a long, long time ago. Before this dreadful winter."

"Winters not all bad." Lucy said. "There's ice skating, snowball fight... oh, and christmas!"

"What's christmas?" Babs asked.

"It's a holiday where you get presents from Santa and have fun with your friends and family in the snow!" Scootaloo replied.

"Unfortunately, we haven't had christmas here in a long time." Tumnus said, bringing a tray of food. "Not for a hundred years."

"What!?" Babs asked. "A hundred years of winter!?"

"And no presents?" Lucy asked.

"It's been a very long winter." Tumnus replied. "But in the summer, you would have loved Naria." He then started pouring some tea for everyone and putting milk in the tea until they indicated that they had enough. "We fauns would dance with the dryads all night and we would never get tired. And the music, ah, such music." Everyone was enjoying some of the food and the tea, happy to be warm while Tumnus was hesitant on what he needed to do, but knew he had to do it. "W-would you like to hear some music?"

"Oh, yes please." Lucy said.

"Sure, that'd be great!" Scootaloo said.

Tumnus seemed pleased to hear it, reaching up above the fire place and grabbing a box and opening it to reveal a flute with two ends on it.

"That's a weird flute." Babs said.

"It belonged to my father." Tumnus said proudly. "Played many songs with it. Now, are any of you familiar with Narnian lullabies?"

That was an immediate red flag for Scootaloo, knowing that something wasn't right when he asked that question.

"Sorry, I'm not familiar with them at all." Lucy said.

"Well that's good." Tumnus replied. "Because this, probably won't sound like one."

Tumnus licked his lips and places the tip of the flute in his mouth, playing a sweet melody for the group, Lucy looking to the fire and watching it burn as she sipped her tea, but a moment later, a galloping centaur appeared in the flames, spooking the girl and making the fillies look to the flames, Tumnus showing there was nothing to be afraid of as he continued to play the flute, everyone looking into the fire to see that the flames were dancing around, deer playing, knights on horse back, even more narnians dancing around and having fun, the three of them enjoying the show, but they then started to feel drousy, Babs's eyes getting heavy as she tried to fight against the sleep, but then laid her head down and fell asleep, Lucy feeling sleepy as well, dropping her cup as she fell asleep while Scootaloo fought back the hardest, doing her best to stay awake, but eventually she too fell asleep, Tumnus not affected by the song as he looked to the flames, seeing everyone dancing and having a great time when the flames changed, surprising the faun as white and dark flames appeared in the fire, mixing with the orange flames as a lion came out of them, roaring along with a white and black dragon, both roaring and spooking the faun as he stopped playing, the flames going out as he did.

A while later, the fillies and Lucy woke up and it was dark outside, indicating they had been there a while as they looked around, seeing the flames have gone out as everything was dark.

"I should probably go." Lucy said.

"It's too late for that." Tumnus said, looking over and seeing him cower on the stairs. "I'm a terrible faun."

"No." Lucy replied. "You're a very nice faun. You're the nicest faun I've ever met."

"Then I'm afraid you've had yourself a very poor friend like me." Tunmus said.

Lucy took out a hankerchief and handed it to Tumnus, who wiped his eyes as he cried.

"You couldn't have done anything that bad." Lucy said.

"It's not something I've done Lucy." Tumnus replied, looking at her with pain in his eyes. "It's what I'm doing."

"What do you mean?" Scootaloo asked.

"I was ordered to kidnap Lucy." Tumnus replied.

"What!?" Babs asked, backing away. "By who?"

"Jadis, the White Witch." Tumnus replied. "She's the one who always makes it winter, always! She gave orders that if anyone were to find a human, anyone at all, we were to turn them over to her immediately! But... the flames, white and black... I couldn't do it."

"Spyro." Scootaloo said.

"Mr. Tumnus, you wouldn't do that, right?" Lucy asked. "I thought you were my friend."

Tumnus was feeling horrible about what he did, looking up to Lucy and then to the fillies when he saw some embers in the fire pit, sparking to life as a white butterfly apeared, fading out a moment later, Tumnus looking to Lucy.

"I am your friend." Tumnus replied, getting up. "And I won't let her get you. None of you." he got up and walked over tot he cupboard witht he key, taking it outy and getting his scarf before opening the door, everyone rushing out and through the forest to get Lucy to safety. "Now, she may already know you're all here! The woods are full of her spies! Even some of the trees are on her side!" Everyone looked around, looking to the trees as they felt scared to be there, Babs looking to Scootaloo as the fillies ran. "Think you can find your way back from here?"

"I think so." Lucy said.

"We can't go back to our home though." Scootaloo said. "The portal to our home is closed. We're trapped here."

"Well... look for Aslan in the north, near the mountain ranges." Tumnus said. "I heard he's gathering an army there to fight the White Witch, he'll keep you safe."

"What about you?" Babs asked. "Will you be alright?"

Tumnus laughed, wiping away some more tears that rolled down his face.

"Hey, hey it's alright." Lucy said.

"I'm sorry." Tumnus said. "I'm so sorry."

"Hey, you're doing the right thing." Scootaloo said. "You're helping us now and that's what matters. You're a good friend."

Tumnus smiled at Scootaloo, wanting to return the hankerchief to Lucy, but she pushed it back.

"Keep it." Lucy said smiling. "You need it more than I do."

"Thank you Lucy." Tumnus said. "You, Babs Seed and Scootaloo have made me feel warmer than I did in a hundred years."

Everyone smiled, Lucy running off in the direction she came from to get into Narnia while the fillies ran for the mountains, Tumnus watching as they fled as he walked back to his home, hoping they would be ok. In the woods, the fillies were trudging through the snow, braving the cold as they made their way to the mountains, but as they trudged through, something snapped behind them and they looked, wanting to see what it was when they spotted a small herd of Winterhorns come out from behind the trees, gazing at an easy mark.

"Heartless!" Scootaloo shouted.

"Those are Heartless!?" Babs asked.

"Run, quick!" Scootaloo shouted.

The fillies started to run away, the Heartless giving chase as they went after their prey, catching up with them in an instant and started to toy with their food, rushing across and through them, knocking them down and making them flee in random directions until the fillies were trapped behind a ledge, looking at the Winterhorns as they got closer right as Shadows and Blue Rhapsodies appeared, slowly aproaching the terrified fillies as they backed up closer and closer to the ledge, the Heartless gazing at them hungrily as they prepared to lunge. but a second later, they heard a lion roaring and the Heartless all looked behind them, a wave of unknown energy passing through them as they all disintegrated into black dust, making the fillies curl up as they were destroyed. A second later, they looked to see who it was that saved them, seeing a shadowy figure approach and then stop right in front of them.

"It's alright, you're safe now." The figure said.

"W-who are you?" Scootaloo asked.

A moment later, a lion came out of the shadows, smiling at them as he approached.

"My name is Aslan." The lion said. "And I'm here to keep you safe."

Back in Equestria, Apple bloom was moving through the hallway of the house, trying her best not to wake anyone up as she made her way to Spyro's room, knocking on the door quietly as she pushed it open, wanting to let him know what had happened when she noticed he wasn't there, wondering where he was, she then moved to Applejack's room, knocking lightly befoe entering, seeing her big sis was there and Spyro had his foreleg wrapped around her, both smiling as they slept, which she knew she was going to be yelled at, but she walked over and gently shook Applejack, making her grumble as she swatted at Apple Bloom to shoo her away, but the filly shook her again, waking her up and seeing the scared look n her sister's face.

"Apple Bloom?" Applejack asked, sitting up as Spyro remained asleep, rubbing her eyes as she mane looked at the clock on her bedside, seeing how late it was. "What are ya doing up so late? It's one in the morning. Did ya have a bad dream or somethin'?"

"Applejack, somethin' happened." Apple Bloom replied. "I... I need to tell Spyro."

"Ya know he's not gonna be a happy camper if he's woken up, right?" Applejack asked, whcih Apple Bloom nodded. "Alright then."

She turned to Spyro, shaking him a bit as he scrunched up his face, opening his eyes and seeing Applejack.

"AJ, what's wrong?" Spyro asked, sitting up and seeing Apple Bloom. "AB, why are you up so late? What time is it?"

"It's one o'clock'." Applejack replied.

"That late?" Spyro asked, looking to Apple Bloom. "Apple Bloom, what's the matter? Had a nightmare or something?"

"No, not that." Apple Bloom replied. "See, there was a noise that woke Scootaloo up, which she woke us up and the noise was coming from your garage."

"My garage?" Spyro asked. "What were you doing in my garage at night?"

"We heard a humming coming from it." Apple Bloom replied. "We thought it was a Kyber Crystal, so we went in-"

"We?" Spyro asked.

"Me, Scootaloo, and Babs." Apple Bloom said. "We went in and saw the portal and some glowing crystals, the barrier went down and-"

"Wait, the barrier went down?" Spyro asked, Apple Bloom becoming more nervous, Spyro sensing that she was nervous. "Apple Bloom, what did you do?"

Apple Bloom looked more than nervous, sweat coming off of her brow as she took in a big gulp of air, as she got ready for what she knew was coming.

"Ah pressed a button that activated one of yer engines and disabled that enrrgy wall thing around that portal thingy and it sucked babs and Scootaloo into the portal." Apple Bloom replied.

"YOU WHAT!?" Spyro shouted, his shout waking up everyone in the house and the entire town. Spyro rushed out of the bed and ran through the hall, Applejack right behind him as they rushed to the garage, bursting through and rushing to the terminal, which ir roared to life as dozens of screens popped up as he furiously pressed in codes and buttons to get as much data as possible. "AIVA, has the probe reported back yet!?"

"Negative sir." AIVA replied. "It has not reported back for the last thirty six hours."

"Pull up everything you have ojn the portal and get the planetary satellite up into the atmosphere, now!" Spyro exclaimed.

"Sir, the satellite is not quite ready." AIVA replied. "I need another-"

"AIVA, do as I say and get the satellite up now!" Spyro shouted.

Without being told twice, the center of the garage opened up and the roof opened, Applejack and the rest of the apple family watching as the roof opened up and a rocket shot out, flying into the atmosphere and a moment later, it seperated into several pieces as a small sphere started to orbit the world, two small rods extending before solar panels came out, collecting energy from the sun as the signal to the garage was boosted. A moment later, they heard binary talk from the droid and a flood of information came rushing it on the computer.

"Satellite: operational." AIVA said. "Sir, we now have direct access to the probe. It appears to be sending the information you requested to us."

"Does the probe have the coordinates to the world he went to?" Spyro asked.

"Probe fourteen is in the process of transmitting the coordinates now." AIVA replied. "It will take some time to transmit and upload the coordinates to the Dragons Crest."

"We don't have time AIVA." Spyro replied. "Scootaloo and Babs Seed are on that world and we need to egt there now!"

"What's going on?" Twilight asked, she and the others coming up to the garage. "We heard the shouting from the town. What happened?"

"Scootaloo and babs got transported to another world." Spyro said, rushing from terminal to terminal.

"What!?" Rainbow Dash asked. "How the heck did that happen!?"

"Basically they broke in, disabled the containment field I had around the portal, and the two of them got pulled into another world." Spyro said, finding the coordinates and downloading them. "It will take some time to download the coordinates from the probe, so I'm ging through the portal and getting them back."

"Not without help yer not!" Applejack said, putting her hat on. "Babs is my cousin and she's probably scared out of her wits. Plus, she might not recognize ya if yer in yer human form."

"Heck, count me in as well!" Rainbow Dash said, zipping to his side. "You might need some eyes in the sky to spot them!"

"Thanks girls." Spyro said. He then looked at the terminal as an image of the world popped up, seeing it was very cold and covered in snow with a large forest. "It's a tundra."

"A what?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"A tundra is a biome that is very cold." Spyro said, pressing a few commands as a coat rack came out. "Not as cold as an arctic biome, but still it's unpleasant. And it appears to be a forest too. Fluttershy, think you can come alogn as well? Your gift for talking to animals might help."

"S-sure." Fluttershy replied, walking up.

"Great." Spyro said, passing out winter coats to them. "This world is uncharted territory. We don't know if the Heartless are here or not, but our primary goal is finding the fillies and getting them home."

"With how good of a tracker ya are Spyro, we should find them in no time." Applejack said.

"AIVA, once the coordinates are downloaded, upload them to the Dragon's Crest and get it to that world ASAP." Spyro said.

"Yes sir." AIVA replied. "Time until coordinates are downloaded, two hours and thirty five minutes." A second later, AIVA was flashing red before returning to blue. "Sir, the probe has been destroyed."

"What?" Spyro asked, everyone looking to the blue orb in the middle of the room. "How?"

"Unknown sir." AIVA replied. "There don't seem to be Heartless popping up in the report as of yet sir, but I'll keep you updated."

"Right, everyone ready?" Spyro asked, seeing they all had their coats on and were ready to go. "Then let's go. AIVA, lower the containment field."

On cue, the barrier seperating Equestria from the portal lowered and almost immediately the room got colder, everyone not wearing a coat shivering as the group approached the portal, Spyro putting his hoof thorugh to make sure it was safe before walking through, passing through a corridor of lights and color as he flew through, popping out on the other end, landing like Batman as he looked up, seeing he was now in the world on the other side of the portal, looking around to see some of the hibernating trees and some pine trees as he took a few steps forward, turning to see a ripple in the air as Rainbow Dash zoomed out, Spyro side stepping as she ran into a tree, getting stuck in the trunk as he just laughed, looking back to see Applejack and Fluttershy come through, looking around at their new environment.

"What in tarnation?" Applejack asked, looking around as the snow fell. "This place is beautiful."

"Yeah, especially wiht all the snow." Fluttershy said.

"Yeah, yeah, it's nice and all, now can somepony get me out of here!?" Rainbow Dash said, pulling and pushing to get out.

Spyro just shook his head as he just deleivered a light knock on the tree, making it split in half as she fell out, shaking the snow off of herself.

"Right, we dont have a moment to waste." Spyro said, looking to the ground and seeing signs of disturbance to tghe environment, seeing what remained of tracks as he knelt down, holding his hand up to it. "These tracks are a couple of days old."

"Wait, come again?" Applejack asked. "How the heck can the tracks be a couple of days old when they were only taken here a few minutes ago?"

"Time moves differently among the other worlds." Spyro replied, looking up. For us, it was only a few minutes. Here, it might be a few days, maybe more."

"So, where do we start?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"We start here." Spyro said, placing his hand on the ground. "Apanta-i pimpina."

A second later, the wind picked up and the tracks the fillies made appeared, giving them an idea of the path they went, following their trail as they made their way to where they went. A few minutes of trudging through snow later, they soon came to the same lamp post that the fillies were at earlier, looking up at it and wondering where it came from.

"What the heck is this doing here?" Rainbow Dash asked. "And what the heck is it anyway?"

"It's an old Victorian lamppost." Spyro replied, circling it. "These were used back in the late 1960s in London, England. But how did it get here?"

A second later, they heard footsteps, looking in the direction Lucy took to flee, they all hid behind the trees, not knowing if it was friendly or not, looking out to see what it was. A moment later, they saw Lucy coming ahead wearing a brown coat while behind her was a taller girl with black hair, wearing a black coat along with two boys. One with blonde hair wearing a brown fur coat and the other a shorter boy with black hair and wearing a black and white coat, following the girl.

"You sure this is the right way Lucy?" The shorter boy asked.

"Of course I'm sure." Lucy replied. "Come on, his home's this way!"

"It's just a bunch of kids." Spyro whispered to them, letting them know to be quiet.

"Well, maybe they saw where Scootaloo and Babs are." Applejack said.

"Maybe." Spyro replied, looking at them. "But what are they doing all the way out here?"

However, a moment later, several Winterhorns appeared from the void, followed by Blue Rhapsodies and a few shadows, making Lucy scream as the tall boy got in front of them.

"What are these things!?" The tall boy asked.

"Heartless!" Rainbow Dash exclaimed.

Without waiting, Spyro came out from behind the tree and extended his hand, sunding a gust of wind, ice, and snow at the Heartless, knocking a couple of shadows into each other and destroying them in an instant and getting their attention. Spyro called his blade as he rushed forward, followed by Rainbow Dash and Applejack, both calling their blades as the Winterhorns went after them, but Spyro threw his blade, taking out one of the Winterhorns right as Rainbow Dash zipped through a couple others, destroying them instantly while Applejack jumped over and kicked another, sending it right at Spyro who spun around and slasshed upward, dispatching it instantly. He then turned to his right to see a few shadows coming at him, but he just spun again, waving his hand as a row of jagged ice shards shot out and desrtoyed them, throwing his blade at the last Shadow and destroying it before it could get into the ground and disappear.

When the blade came back, he dismissed it and looked at the kids, Fluttershy coming out from hiding as they looked at the frieghtened children.

"You kids ok?" Spyro asked.

"We are, thanks to you." The tall boy said. "I'm Peter. This is my brother, Edmond, and my sisters Lucy and Susan."

"I'm Spyro." Spyro replied. "These are my friends Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, and Applejack." Applejack tipped her hat, greeting them, which made Lucy smile a bit. "What are you kids doing all the way out here? It's dangerous with the Heartless around."

"Heartless?" Susan asked. "That's what those things were?"

"Afraid so." Spyro replied. "And they're not exactly friendly, let me tell you that."

"Well, we came her to see Mr. Tumnus again." Lucy replied. "Well, I did anyway. We where hiding from Mrs. MacCready after breaking a window by accident. We came here and are on our way to see him."

"Well, it's good to see you again, but we need to be on our way." Spyro said, wanting to go.

"Why?" Lucy asked. "We only just met."

"Sorry to meet and dash, but we're looking for a couple of fillies and need to find them." Spyro said.

"Fillies?" Lucy asked. "Like two small ponies?"

"Yeah." Spyro answered.

"I saw them actually." Lucy said.

"You did!?" Spyro asked, everyone looking to her. "Where!?"

"Here and at Mr. Tumnus's house." Lucy replied. "Though I had to leave. Scootaloo said that they couldn't go home as something wasn't here. So Mr. Tumnus directed them to Aslan."

"Aslan?" Spyro asked, the name clicking as he finally realized where they were. "Tumnus? Lucy? By the ancestors... Narnia."

"What?" Peter asked.

"Nothing." Spyro replied. "Just talking to myself. Anyway, do you think Tumnus can point us in their direction? We need to get them home."

"I think he can." Lucy replied. "If you come with us, I can take you to him. He can help you find them."

Spyro looked back at the others, which Applejack nodded her head and Spyro turned to look at them again.

"Alright, we'll come with you." Spyro said. "Lead the way."

Without waiting a moment, Lucy lead them to where Mr. Tumnus's house was, following the path she took with him to get to the house, walking along the path and sometimes stopping to have some fun, throwing snowballs at one another while Spyro just used his ice magic, hititng them it a bombardment of snow, winning as he laughed before being tackled by Rainbow Dash and the two laughing as they wrestled in the snow. And after a few minutes, they reached his house, but when they got there, the door looked like it was severaly damaged, busted open and on only a sungle hinge as if something powerful had hit it. Before they could approach, they ran over and went inside, finding the entire place was trashed, furniture broken, pages ripped out, scratch and clawmarks on photos, leaving the place in ruins.

"Who would do something like this?" Lucy asked.

"Some varment that's cruel that's what." Applejack said.

"D-did that pony just talk?" Susan asked.

"Don't strain yourself, they all talk." Spyro replied, kneeling down over a puddle and holding his hand up to it while Susan looked at the ponies. "Still warm. This was recent."

They looked aroun and found a piece of parchment nailed to a support post, Peter removing it to read what was on it.

"The faun Tumnus has been charged with treason aganst her imperial majesty, Jadis, Queen of Narnia." Peter read, everyone crowding to look at it. "For coverting her enemies and for fraternizing with humans. Signed Maugrim, captain of the secret police. Long live the Queen."

"How horrible." Fluttershy said.

"Great." Susan said. "Now I really think we should go back."

"But what about mr. Tumnus?" Lucy asked.

"If he got arrested for being with a human, then there isn't much we can do." Susan said.

"You don't get it, do you?"Lucy asked. "I'm the human. She must have found out he helped me."

"Maybe we should call the guard or somethin'." Applejack said.

"These are the police." Susan said.

"Don't worry Lue, we'll think of something." Peter said.

"Why?" Edmond asked, everyone looking at him. "I mean, he's a criminal."

"Boy you're a bag of joy, aren't you?" Rainbow Dash asked.

However, a second later, they heard a bird call them over, pssting them as they looked out.

"Did that bird 'psst' us?" Susan asked.

"I think it did." Spyro replied.

They all went outside to see what the bird wanted, watching it fly away before hearing a twig snap, Spyro calling his blade to get ready to protect them when a beaver came out from behind a pile of snow, surprising them.

"It's... it's a beaver." Lucy said.

"Seems friendly enough." Spyro said, still holding his blade, which the Beaver saw and seemed excited to see it.

Peter then approached it, extending his hand out as if trying to get the beaver to come over to them.

"Here boy." Peter said, kneeling down while making clicking sounds. "Here boy."

"Dude, you realize that's not a dog, right?" Rainbow Dash asked.

Peter held his hand out, as if wanting to show the beaver they meant no harm, stopping right in front of it.

"I ain't gonna sniff it if that's what ya want me to do." The beaver shaid, shocking everyone.

"Holy cow, it can talk!" Rainbow Dash exclaimed, not use to seeing a talking beaver.

"Seriously?" Spyro asked. "Out of everything we've been through thus far, a talking beaver freaks you out?"

Lucy was giggling, Peter embarrassed as he backed away.

"S-sorry." Peter said.

"Lucy Pevensie?" The beaver asked, Lucy walking up to him.

"Y-yeah?" Lucy asked. The beaver held out a hankerchief to her, showing it was the same one that she gave to Tumnus. "This is the hankie I gave to-"

"Tumnus, yes." The Bever replied. "He gave it to me before being nabbed."

"Is he alright?" Lucy asked.

The beaver looked around, making sure no one was around before looking at them.

"Best to talk elsewhere." The beaver said, heading away from them.

A second later, Lucy and Peter walked after him along with Spyro and the ponies when Susan stopped them, looking very concerned.

"What are you doing?" Susan asked.

"She's right." Edmond said. "How do we know we can trust him?"

"he says he knows the faun." Peter replied.

"He's a beaver." Susan said. "He shouldn't be able to talk at all."

"Well, when it comes to magic, your logic is out the window." Spyro replied. "You're in our world now, not your world. And I've got friend on the other side." A second later, a large snowball hit him in the face, making him stumble backwards as he looked around. "Where the heck did that come from?"

"Everything alright?" The Beaver asked.

"Yeah, everything's fine." Peter replied. "We're just talking."

"Better left in a safer place." The beaver said.

"He means the trees." Lucy said.

Not without any other choice, they decided to follow the beaver to a safer place, walking along the path he would take through an archway and through a couple of mountains until they had reached the other side, a small beaver hut set up on a frozen lake.

"Ah, looks liek the old girl's got the kettle on!" Beaver said, everyone walking over.

"It's lovely." Fluttershy said.

"Ah, it's not much." Beaver said. "Still got some work to do, but it's home."

They continued to walk down the path all the way to the dam, approching the hut as another beaver came out.

"Beaver!?" The female beaver said. "Is that you!? I've been worried sick! If i find out you've been with badger again, I'll..." She then stopped when she saw the humans, looking all excited and happy as she looked at them. "Those aren't badgers."

"I should hope not." Spyro replied, looking at the others as he scratched Applejack's ear.

"Oh, never have I thought I'd live to see this day!" The female beaver said, looking to the male beaver. "You couldn't have given me ten minutes warning! Look at my fur."

"Like a lady." Spyro said. "Worrying about how they look." Applejack attempted to kick him in the leg, which he raised it and made her miss, laughing. "Hah! Too quick for ya, wasn't I?"

She then kicked his right leg, making him gasp in pain as he bounced around with his leg up.

"Ya forgot about the other one though." Applejack said, making the two pegasi snicker.

"Come inside and we'll get ya some food." The other beaver said, walking in. "And some more... civilized company."

They all walked into the hut, going one after the other, making sure they watched their step as they went in. Once inside, it was a little cramped for some one as tall as Spyro, having to duck in as everyone got inside, the beavers getting them some food that were decent enough for people and getting plenty for the ponies.

"Is there anything we can do to help Tumnus?" Peter asked.

"Afraid not." Beaver replied. "He's been taken to the witches house. "The few who go in ever come back."

"Fish and chips?" The female beaver said, bringing over some fish, which the ponies seemed repulsed by the sight. "Don't worry dear, there's always hope. Right beaver?"

"Of course there's hope." Beaver replied. "Aslan is on the move."

"There's that name again." Rainbow Dash said. "Whose Aslan?"

Beaver then started to laugh, thinking they were joking as he laughed, but after a few moments of laughter, he realized that they weren't joking and stopped.

"Ya really don't know?" Beaver asked.

"Well, we haven't been here very long Mr. Beaver, sir." Fluttershy said.

"Why he's the king of the whole wood!" Beaver replied. "The top geyser! The real king of Narnia!"

"He's been gone for a long while, but he's back." The other beaver said.

"And he's waiting for you at the stone table!" Beaver said.

"Waiting for us?" Lucy asked.

"You gotta be joking!" Beaver said. "They don't know the prophecy!"

"What prophecy?" Spyro asked.

"You-!" Beaver said, looking mad. "You either!? Not even the Prince knows it!?"

"Prince?" Edmond asked, everyone looking to Spyro.

"This guy is the Prince of Light and Darkness here!" Beaver said. "Didn't you tell them!?"

"Prefer to keep that bit of info on the down low." Spyro replied. "Anyway, why don't you tell us. What prophecy are you talking about?"

"Aslan's return, Tumnus's arrest, the secret police, it's all because of you." Beaver said.

"Wait, you blaming us for this pal!?" Rainbow Dash asked, starting to get defensive.

"No, not blaming." The othe rbeaver replied. "Thanking you."

"There's a prophecy." Beaver said. "When Adams flesh and Adams bone, sits atop of Care Paravel in throne, the evil time will be over and done."

"That doesn't really rhyme." Susan said.

"I know, but your missing the point!" Beaver said.

"It has been for told that that two Sons of Adam and two Daughters of Eve will defeat the white witch and restore peave to Narnia." The other beaver said.

"And now that we have the Prince of Light and Darkness on our side, we're guaranteed to win!" Beaver said. "Everyone in Narnia knows about him and how powerful he is!"

"And you think we're the ones?" Peter asked.

"Well ya better be!" Beaver said. "Aslan is already preparing an army for ya."

"An army!?" Lucy asked.

"Look, our mum sent us away so we wouldn't get caught up in a war." Susan said, breakign the beavers spirits.

"I think you've made a mistake." Peter said. "We're not heroes."

"Every hero starts off as not being one." Spyro said, walking around. "I mean, look at me. I was just a regular guy, living his life, ging to work every day. And now... now I'm a prince. I have a herd that I love, and great power. Trust me, if you're here, then you're here for a reason."

"Thanks, but we should really be getting back now." Susan said.

"You cant just leave!" Beaver said.

"He's right." Lucy said. "We have to help Mr. Tumnus."

"It's out of our hands Lucy." Peter said.

"You can leave if you want, but I'm staying." Spyro said, the ponies walking up behind him. "Scootaloo and Babs are still here. I can't leave without them. And with the Heartless here, this world needs us."

"You can stay if you want, but the four of us have to leave." Peter said, turning to leave when he noticed that Edmond wasn't there. "Ed?"

"Where did he go?" Rainbow Dash asked, looking around.

They looked around the hut, trying to see if the brother was stillin the hut before they noticed the door was cracked open, indicating he had left.

"I'm gonna kill him." Peter said. "He never listens."

"You may not have to." Beaver said. "Has he ever been to Narnia before?"

"Once, yes." Lucy said. "He followed me and when I found him, he looked awful."

"There was something off about him as well." Spyro said. "Hit heart was... clouded. Like he had been seduced or something."

"The White Witch." Beaver said. "She must have found him before Lucy did. He's under her spell!"

"We need to find him!" Peter said.

They all rushed out of the hut, looking around to see where he went when Spyro found his trail, placing his hand over it and finding it was fresh, looking into the woods and eeing the route he took. He whistled for everyone and they all ran in the directiojn that Ed was walking in, following the prints in the snow to see where he was as they climbed up hill unti they stopped, finding a small castle made entirely out of ice in the middle of a frozen pond, looking at it and feeling cold after just looking.

"Is that the witches house?" Spyro asked.

"It is." Beaver replied. "Many went in to destroy the witch, but none came back out."

They looked at it and saw Edmond as approaching the house, walking up the path as he reached the doors.

"EDMOND!" Lucy shouted.

"Shh, they'll hear ya!" Beaver said. Peter then tried to go after his brother, but Beaver stopped him, grabbing his sleeve. "NO!"

"Get off me!" Peter shouted.

"You're playing into her hands!" Beaver said.

"He's our brother!" Susan said. "We can't leave him!"

"Beaver's right, you can't go in there." Spyro said, walking betweent he siblings. "She's using your brother as bait to draw you in. Whether you're the heroes or not, she's not going to take that risk. If you walk in there, you might as well have signed your own death certificates because she'll kill you all once all four are in her grasp."

They all looked to the house, seeing the door close as the brother was now in the hands of the witch, Susan looking to Peter in disdain.

"This is all your fault." Susan said.

"My fault!?" Peter asked.

"None of this would have happened if you had listened to me in the first place!" Susan shouted.

"Oh, so you're saying you knew this would happen!?" Peter snapped back.

"I didn't know what would happen!" Susan replied. "Which is why we should have turned back in the first place!"

"STOP IT!" Lucy shouted, getting them to stop. "This isn't going to hep Edmond."

"Your sister's right." Spyro said, turning to them. "Bickering and arguing with one another won't save your brother."

"Only Aslan can save your brother now." Beaver said, looking to them.

"Then take us to him." Peter said.

They all looked back at the witches house, seeing the frozen structure as darkness started to surround the place as dark clouds gathered, hundreds of Heartless surrounded the place and the wind picked up, prayng they can get to Aslan in time to save Edmond and get out of there before anything else happens.
