Chapter 155: The Lion, The Witch, and The Key Part 3: Battle for Narnia
After some time, Edmund had emerged from his tent and joined his siblings for some breakfast, sitting himself down and enjoying a meal, eating everything hungrily as he hadn't had a decent meal in some time while being a 'guest' of the white witches dungeon and in her camp. While he was eating, Spyro and Peter were watching them, talking about what to do while they ate.
"Mum charged me with protecting them." Peter said. "I don't want them to get involved in a war."
"I know the feeling." Spyro said, looking to the ponies. "I didn't want to get them involved with my war against the darkness, but fate has a way of making things happen." He then looked to Peter, seeing how worried he was before putting a hand on his shoulder. "Don't worry bud, we'll win this."
"I hope you're right." Peter said.
They returned their attention to Edmund, which he was devouring the toast like it was going to be the last piece in all of Narnia, making Lucy laugh.
"Narnia's not gonna run out of toats Ed." Lucy said, making him laugh.
"Be sure to pack enough previsions for the journey home." Peter said, making everyone look at him.
"We're going home?" Susan asked.
"You're going home." Peter said, walking over. "Mum charged me with protecting you guys and that's what I'm doing. I don't want you guys to get hurt, but that doesn't mean I can't stay and help."
"Peter." Spyro said, walking over and sitting down. "The prophecy says that four are needed. Two Sons of Adam and two Daughters of Eve. You can't do this alone."
"Besides, mum wanted us to stick together." Susan added. "We stick together, no matter what."
Susan then got up and walked over to her bow and quiver, picking them up.
"Where ya going sugarcube?" Applejack asked.
"To get some practice in." Susan replied.
A moment later, Lucy got up and followed after her sister to join her in practice while Spyro looked at Peter, smiling at the kid as he got up.
"You're sister is right." Spyro said. "If you're going to fight, you're going to need to practice. Get your swords and meet me near the archery range. We'll start practicing there."
"Yeah, what he calls practice." Rainbow Dash whispered to Applejack, makign them both snicker.
At the archery range, Susan was practicing her archery, notching an arrow and drawing the bow string back and releasing it, but the arrow ended up hitting the outside of the target, frustrating her, but Lucy decided to show her up, drawing her dagger and throwing it, landing a perfect bullseye, giggling as her sister gave her the stink eye. They then heard horses coming and looked to their left, finding Spyro was on foot running as Edmund and Peter were coming after him on horseback, Peter riding a white unicorn while Ed was riding a purebred stallion, wanting to best him.
"Come on Ed, we can take him." Peter said. "Sword end up like Oreius showed us!"
"That's what you think junior." Spyro said. He leapt up and flipped around, landing some distance away as Ed swung, but Spyro just side stepped, dodging the attack while Peter came around to swing, but Spyro used the Force, freezing the blade in place as Spyro ran around, grabbing him. "Come on little man, get down from there!" He then dragged Peter off, making him roll on the ground before getting up, laughing as he got ready to fight, whcih Spyro pulled out the Roku remote and froze the world, looking to the reader. "Not bad, right? Learned that move from Shadow of War."
He then unfroze the world and called his Keyblade, blocking the attacks Peter was taught from Oreius, parrying the attacks and side stepping as Peter swung, smacking him in the rear and laughing as Ed came around for another attack, but Spyro back flipped backwards, landing near Susan and calling an orb of water, drinking it while having a break.
"You call this practice?" Susan asked, clearly amused.
"I call it, teaching a lesson." Spyro replied, looking to the target. "Wait, wait, wait. Did you just get show up by your sister, who threw a butterknife? Aw man, that's gotta be embarrassing. Did anyone see it happen?"
He then turned to the reader again, knowing they probably did before looking back to Susan.
"It's harder than it looks." Susan said. "But I'm trying."
"No, don't try, do." Spyro replied. "Do or do not, there is no try. If you try, then you don't believe in yourself and you'll fail." he then walked over and got a bow and a few arrows, walking back over next to Susan. "Besides, you're thinking to hard about it. Just clear your mind and let your instincts guide you." He then notched an arrow and drew the string, releasing as fast as he notched the arrow, releasing and hitting a perfect bullseye and did so again, but in rappid fire, hitting five bullseyes in a row, surprising them. "When you think too much, you hesitate, giving yourself more time to miss in the heat of battle and more time for your opponent to close the gap."
"But what if I'm up on a ledge?" Susan asked.
"Then you can take your time." Spyro replied, putting the bow down. "But if you think as you aim, you'll think too hard and miss. Let your instincts guide you and you'll never miss."
"You're saying all I need to do is believe in myself?" Susan asked.
"That's all it takes." Spyro answered. "When you believe in yourself, you'll always succeed."
"Peter!" Beaver shouted, rushing over. "Edmund!"
A second later, the horse that Edmund was on reared backwards, sounding spooked as he rushed over.
"Wow, horsey!" Edmund said.
"My name is Phillip." The horse said.
"Oh, sorry." Edmund said.
"Beaver, what's wrong?" Spyro asked.
"The Witch has demanded a meeting with Aslan!" Beaver replied. "She's approaching the camp now!"
Everyone looked worried, looking to one another after hearing that the White Witch was on her way to meet Aslan and all rushed to the camp, to see why she was coming to them in the first place, hearing her little dwarf shouting.
"On your knees!" He shouted. "For the Queen of Narnia!"
The crowd all shouted at the witch, calling her a false ruler and showing their disdain for the witch as her minions carrier her towards Aslans tent, everyone arriving to get a look at the witch, seeing her in a white dress with her ice crystal crown, riding along until they stopped, the crowd still showing their hatred for her as the throne was lowered, allowing her to get off. As walked towards Aslan, looking to Edmund as he tried to hide, which Spyro got in front of him and glared at the witch as she walked.
"You have a traitor in your ranks Aslan." Jadis said.
"Tales one to know one." Spyro responded, the crowd cheering for his response.
"His offense was not agianst you." Alsan said.
"Have you so easily forgotten the laws in which narnia was built upon?" Jadis asked.
"Do not cite the deep magic to me witch!" Aslan exclaimed. "I was there when it was written."
"Then you'd remember well that every traitor belongs to me." Jadis said. "His blood is my property."
A second later, Petyer drew his blade, ready to kill the witch while her minions were ready to protect her.
"Try and take him them!" Peter exclaimed.
His action got he whole camp ready for a fight, everyone drawing their weapons as Spyro called his Keyblade and the Oblivion Keyblade, ready to fight as the ponies called theirs, but the fillies hid behind Spyro and Applejack, afraid of what was going to happen as Jadis looked at them with amusement.
"You really think that mere force will deny me my rights, little king?" Jadis asked, looking back at Aslan. "And Aslan knows that unless I have blood, all of Narnia will be overturned! Everyone will perish in fire and water." She then turned to Edmund and poiunted at him, making the kid fear for his life. "That boy will die on the stone table, as is tradition."
"Over my dead body." Spyro said, raising his blades.
"If you insist." Jadis said.
She turned to one of her minotaurs and nodded, a white one grabbing his battle axe and approaching him to fight, raising it, but Spyro just punched him, sending him clear into the sky and crashing into a mountain, demonstrating his strength as massive Storm clouds gathered overhead, lightning striking the ground as the traitors backed away from him.
"Anyone else wanna push their luck?" Spyro asked, raising his blades up.
"Enough." Aslan said. "I cannot deny her rights. I shall talk to you alone."
Aslan walked to the tent with Jadis walking close behind, entering the tent with him and leaving everyone else outside, Spyro eyeing the traitors as they got ready for a fight if it broke out again. Some time went by and everyone was waiting for the final decision from the two leaders, the siblings waiting impatiently while Spyro was leaning on some rocks with the ponies next to him, Rainbow Dash flying in the air waiting, Fluttershy looking extremely nervous while Applejack was pacing back and forth, looking the most anxious as the fillies sat on the ground, Babs sneaking glances at Spyro as she couldn't believe what she was seeing.
"What do you think will happen Spyro?" Scootaloo asked.
"This could go either way." Spyro replied. "Either Edmund will be handed over to the witch and he'll perish, or Aslan will talk her out of it and he'll be saved. It's hard to say."
"Can't you just use your dragon ears and listen in?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"I could." Spyro replid. "But their conversation is private, so I must respect their privacy."
A moment later, Jadis came out of the tent and everyone stood up, Spyro got off the rock and walked forward as the ponies followed him, seeing Jadis give an expression that was both satisfaction, yet disappointment, walking away as Aslan came out, approaching the crowd as they awaited for the decision of Edmund's fate. Aslan looked to Edmund, which caused him to be afraid for his life as he looked upset, yet he put on a brave face and looked back to the crowd.
"She has renounced her claim on the Son of Adam's blood." Aslan said, causing an uproar in the crowd for pure joy as they patted him on the back and on the shoulder.
"How do I know you'll keep your promise?" Jadis asked, getting everyone's attention.
Aslan then roared at her, making her sit in her chair in fear as her minions picked her up, everyone still cheering at the fact that Edmund would be spared, but Spyro was more worried about what the witch said, looking to Aslan as did Lucy and seeing that he was still upset, sensing that he was hiding something he didn't want to share with everyone else. He walked up to see what it was that had him down low, but he just walked away, going back into his tent, not wanting to be disturbed, which only made Spyro more worried for him. That night, as everyone was sleeping, Aslan was walking out of the camp, making sure no one was disturbed as he walked away, but Spyro was still awake, seeing that Aslan was leaving the camp and at the same time, he saw Lucy and Susan walk out, following Aslan to see where it was he was going. As they left, he looked to the tent that the ponies were in, walking in and seeing everyone was asleep, so he was careful to walk over and placed his hand on Fluttershy's mouth, waking her up and making her yelp, but she looked and saw it was Spyro, calming down as he removed his hand.
"Spyro... what's wrong?" Fluttershy asked. "Why are you still awake?"
"Aslan's left the camp." Spyro replied.
"He has?" Fluttershy asked. "Why?"
"That I am unsure of." Spyro replied. "Lucy and Susan are following him. Can you go make sure they are safe and don't run into any Heartless?"
"Me?" Fluttershy asked, spooked to be asked that. "Shouldn't you send Rainbow Dash or Applejack?"
"Fluttershy, I know you're scared." Spyro said, putting his hand on her shoulder. "But you're very brave. You probed it to me when you stood up against that dragon and against all the dangers of Equestria. Even standing up against Discord. I know you can handle anything that is thrown at you."
Fluttershy wasn't sure if she was up to the task, but she nodded her head, squeaking as she went after the two humans, following them as they followed Aslan and after a moment, Aslan stopped, taking in a breath as he knew he was being followed.
"You all should be in bed." Aslan said, everyone coming out of hiding.
"We couldn't sleep." Lucy said.
"Please, couldn't we come with you?" Susan asked.
"I would enjoy the company for a while." Aslan replied. "Thank you."
Lucy placed her hand on Aslan, knowing that something was wrong as they walked together through the forest, walking in silence as Fluttershy walked next to everyone, seeing how unhappy Aslan was as they went.
"Why are you sad Aslan?" Fluttershy asked.
"Because Fluttershy, my time has come." Aslan replied.
"What do you mean?" Lucy asked.
"To save your brother, a deal had to be made." Aslan replied, looking to the sky as he smiled. "It's amazing, how many worlds are out there. And yet, they don't know of one another's existence, save a select few."
"You know about the other worlds?" Fluttershy asked.
"Of course I do." Aslan replied. "I know about them all." They continued to walk, the darkness growing as they continued. "Spyro wasn't the first Keyblade bearer to visit Narnia, nor do I think he'll be the last."
"What's a Keyblade?" Susan asked.
"An ancient and powerful weapon." Aslan replied. "It holds the power to unlock any lock. Even opening gateways to other worlds that were once sealed. Such as the one connecting your home to Narnia. And another world to Narnia."
"The portal." Fluttershy said.
"Exactly." Aslan said. "I sent the portal, hoping that a Son of Adam or a Daughter of Eve who held a Keyblade would find it and come to our aid. And it appears the witch knew about it as well, trying to abduct who she believed held one to kill them."
"The fillies." Fluttershy said.
"Indeed." Aslan said. "The Witch tried to get them and lure your friend into a trap, but I managed to find them in time and save them before anything could happen." They continued, walkign through as it was starting to get lighter, making it easier for them to see. "There was once another Keyblade bearer who helped to bring peace to narnia, founding the laws that now govern our home.He was a good friend... and a greater ally." He looked up, finding that they had reached their destination. "It is time. This is where we part ways."
"But Aslan..." Susan said, stopping as he turned.
"Please, you must trust me." Aslan said. "This has to be done." He looked at all of them, smiling as he was happy to spend some time with friends. "Thank you, Susan, Lucy, and Fluttershy. And farewell."
He then walked away, leaving the three of them more worried than before as they watched their friend leave, deciding to see what was going on, they continued to follow him, but taking another path, climbing up the side of a cliff and looking out, seeing that there was a whole army gathered around the Stone table and on one of the archways was the Keyblade thsat Aslan talked about, it was long and it was colored red with golden lettering and edges around it, a liokns head for the teeth while the handle looked like a shield, the keychain looked like a lion's head. As they looked, they saw Aslan walking up the stairs, all the traitors gathered around and backing away as Aslan approached, the lion stopping at the table as Jadis stood atop of it, holding a black dagger while wearing a black dress, looking at him with a smile.
"Behold, the great lion." Jadis said.
The crowd all laughed, looking at Aslan while the humans and pony were watching, seeing one of the minotaurs approach Aslan and poke him with his weapon, which he growled, but refused to do anything, the minotaur looking at Jadis as she nodded, giving it permission to hit Aslan, knocking him to the ground as they gasped while the enemy laughed.
"Why doesn't he fight back?" Lucy asked.
They couldn't give an answer as they started to bind Aslan, binding his legs and paws together to keep him from fighting back, the three friends watchign in horror while Fluttershy felt her heart sink, wanting to do something, but knowing she was no match for an army.
"Wait!" Jadis said, everyone stopping to look at her. "Let him first be shaved." They all laughed and loved the idea, her little dwarf servant getting his knife and cutting a large chunk of hair from Aslans mane, holding it up and tossing it into the air as others joined in, cutting his mane off. "Bring him to me."
They then started to drag Aslan towards the table, pullijg him up the stairs towards Jadis as the wolves howled, everyone cheering, but then she held up her hand, silencing them.
"We need to do something." Lucy said.
"We can't." Susan said. "There's too many."
They then heard the stamping of staffs, looking to see four of Jadis's followers tapping the torches as the other traitors did the same, waiting for the ceremony to start as Jadis knelt down to Aslan so she could talk to him.
"You know Aslan, I'm a little disappointed." Jadis said, making his ear twitch. "Did you honestly think by all this you would save the human traitor? You're giving me your life, and saving no one. Heh, so much for love." Nearby, Maleficent was watching, not liking the idea of what Jadis was doing as she spotted the humans and Fluttershy, looking to Jadis as she said nothing as she stood up. "Tonight... the deep magic... shall be appeased! But tomorrow... we will take Narnia... FOREVER!" Everyone was cheering, waiting for it to happen as she raised her dagger, the group watching in horror as it was happening. "In that knowledge... despair!" Aslan looked to everyone, finding his friends watching, seeing the terror in their eyes as it was all happening. "And... DIE!" Jadis then brought down the dagger, hitting Aslan in the chest as he looked to be in pain, everyone gasping as he closed his eyes, drawing his last breath as they watched, Lucy crying in her sisters shoulder while Fluttershy could feel her heart breaking, seeing one of her friends pass away as she felt tears roll down her face. "The great cat... IS DEAD!" They cheered, the enemies leader gone as it was a sign that they would win, Jadis looking to her general as he looked bacl. "Prepare your troops for battle."
At the mention of that, he roared out, everyone leaving the stone table to go prepare for war, but Maleficent approached Jadis as she was getting off the table, seeing Maleficent approaching her.
"You shouldn't have done that." Maleficent said.
"I have killed their leader." Jadis replied. "I have assured my victory."
"All you have done was create a martyr." Maleficent said. "A symbol for them to rally behind. Let's not forget, the Prince is still with them. He'll be the biggest problem for you. His power alone will be enough to wipe out your army, let alone mine."
"Then it's a good thing we are combining our forces then, isn't it?" Jadis said, walking away. "Fear not Maleficent, you'll get your prize, and I'll have mine. Nothing will stand in our way once Narnia belongs to me."
Jadis then walked away, leaving Maleficent alone as she looked up, not seeing the humans anymore as she disappeared in a cloud of darkness, knowing that what Jadis did was only going to make things worse for her. A bit later, Susan and Lucy were walking up the steps as Fluttershy followed close behind, seeing Aslan lying on the slab of stone motionless, they rushed over to check on him, only to find he was dead, Lucy crying against him before reaching for her vial, hoping it would work.
"Lucy, stop." Susan said, tears rolling down her cheeks. "It's too late."
"She... she... she's a monster." Fluttershy said, crying.
"He said it would heal any wound." Lucy said.
"I don't think it can cure death." Susan replied. A moment later, some mice came out from the earth and rushed over to the body, climbing up as if to eat him. "Get away! Get away all of you!"
"Wait, look." Fluttershy said.
Instead of eating the body, they were chewing on the rope, releasing the body and allowing them to remove the ropes, remaining by Aslans side as the young girl stroked Aslan as if expecting him to come back.
"We need to tell them." Susan said.
"We can't just leave him here." Lucy said.
"There's nothing we can do." Susan said. "They need to know."
"I'll tell them." Fluttershy said, wiping away her tears.
She then took off, not waiting for them to voice their opinions as she flew off, heading back to the camp, but tears were still flowing down her cheeks as she went, but as she flew, the wind was picking up behind her, flying after her as she reached the camp, Spyro coming out of the tent to see her coming to him, but as she got closer, he could see that her eyes were red from tears, rushing towards her.
"Flutters, what's wrong?" Spyro asked, kneeling down to her. "What happened? Where's Susan and Lucy?"
He didn't get a response right away, but instead, she hugged him, crying in his chest as she hugged him tightly, knowing she was upset, he started to pat her head, sensing her sorrow as he saw some petals fly into the tent he, Peter, and edmund shared, getting up and walking to it to see a dryad appear in the petals, waking Peter up and drawing his sword, starling Edmund as they looked up.
"Be still my king." The dryad said, holding up her hand. "I bring grave news about Aslan."
Early in the morning, everyone had gathered around a table and on it was a map of the battle field, everyone having heard what had happened to Aslan, Fluttershy's eyes still red from crying as they looked to peter.
"He's gone." Peter said.
"We heard." Applejack said, looking to Fluttershy as Spyro stroked her head. "What'll we do now?"
"We can't win this fight without him." Peter said.
"Not true Pete." Spyro replied. "Aslan gave his life to save Edmund, knowing that there was a chance for us to win. We mustn't allow his sacrifice to be in vain. We can't give up now."
"But how can we win?" Edmund asked. "I've seen her army, she outnumbers us."
"Numbers don't determine how the battle goes." Spyro replied, looking at the map. "Strategy does. And lucky for you, I'm an excellent strategist."
"So how do we win then?" Peter asked.
"With a few little surprises." Spyro replied.
Spyro smiled, looking at the map that overlooked the battle zone as he started to make his plans for the fight, once completed, they all walked off to get ready when Spyro stopped, turning to the fillies and walking over, kneeling to them.
"Kids, I need you to go find Susan and Lucy and stay with them." Spyro said.
"But why?" Scootaloo asked. "We want to help!"
"Scoots, the battle field is no place for a kid." Spyro said, putting his hand on her shoulder. "I need you to go and find the sisters and stay with them." he then pressed a button on his bracers and a small disk popped out, gicing it to Scootaloo. "Here, this will get you home."
"What is it?" Babs asked.
"It's a homing beacon." Spyro replied. "If things go south, if Susan and Lucy go to their home, go with them. The beacon will activate as soon as you press the blue button and it will call the ship as soon as it's got your coordinates."
"But... you will come back... won't you?" Scootaloo asked, feeling her heart break.
"Don't worry Scoots, we'll win." Spyro said, messing up her mane. "But this is just a precaution, just in case."
He then stood up, turning to walk to the rest when he felt something on his leg, looking down and seeing she was hugging his leg, which he reached down and hugged her, showing he would be alright as Babs walked over and hugged him as well, returning the hug. He then ended the hug and walked ver tot he rest of the army, getting ready for the fight ahead as the fillies started to make their way to the Stone Table, already knowing where it was thanks to Aslan. On the battle field, everyone was already lined up, wearing armor and ready for the fight, the ponies on the cliffside wearing their beskar armor along with many archers, ready for the enemy as was Edmund, standing with the archers while a distance away, Spyro was kneeling on the ground in the middle of a field, his eyes closed as his armor was on, meditating as a griffon flew over head, landing next to Peter.
"They're coming!" The griffon said. "With numbers greater than our own."
"Numbers do not win a battle." Oreius said.
"But they certainly help." Peter said.
A moment later, Jadis's general, a Minotaur, came over the hillside, roaring out and calling his army as they all came up, a mixture of beasts, dwarves, and giants that had sided with the witch, who was driving a chariot pulled by a couple of polar bears with maleficent with her, her Heartless appearing in force with Soldiers, Armored Soldiers, Wreckingballs, and many more kinds of Heartless, causing the soldiers to feel fear, but Peter looked back, looking to his brother as he nodded, Peter looking back to the enemy as he drew his blade, which the horns sounded and the soldiers cheered, everyone drawing their blades and weapons, ready for the fight.
"I have no interest in prisoners General." Jadis said, looking at the enemy. "Kill them all."
The minotaur roared out, initiating the first wave as many of them jumped down from the hill, rushing towards the enemy as Maleficent sent her Heartless to attack with them, a massive wave of enemies headign straight for Peter, but then Maleficent noticed Spyro in the middle of the field, wondering why he would be out there in the first place. With Spyro, he continued to meditate, unphased by the approaching army while in front of him, his four Yaka arrows were lying on the ground, ready to go as the helmet retracted near the mouth, allowing for him to start whistling as the four arrows started to levitate, changing the whistle a bit to send them straight for the enemy, as soon as the arrows reached the first of the enemy, they fell tot he ground, makign many others flinch as the arrows passed through them like butter, going from Narnian to Heartless alike as they reached him, but he just jumped up and flipped backwards, continuing to whistle, wittling down the numbers as the general reached him, forcing him to get his Keyblade and fight him off.
"Intriguing." Maleficent said. "It appears the prince has a new weapon."
"It matters not." Jadis said. "Victory shall still be ours."
"I wouldn't underestimate the prince if I were you." Maleficent said. "The prince is very clever. Every move he makes is preplanned. He leaves nothing to chance."
As Maleficent said that, Spyro and the minotaur were fighting, the enemies soldiers getting back up that had surrivied his attack as he locked his Keyblae with the minotaurs ax.
"You don't see it, do ya?" Spyro asked, smiling. "I am only the distraction."
The general was confused, looking up to see a large number of griffons coming their way, which Spyro broke the lock and disappeared in a cloud of smoke, leaving the general there in the field as his soldiers caught up.
"Look to the sky!" He shouted.
As he said that, the griffons released a bombardment of boulders and large rocks, hitting many of the surviving enemy soldiers and crushing others as some of the dwarves that sided with the witch got their bows and arrows, sending a flurry of arrows towards the sky and hitting some of the griffons, forcing them to retreat as Spyro reappeared next to Peter, looking to the enemy as they looked to one another.
"You with me?" Peter asked, Oreius and Spyro looking to him.
"To the death." Oreius replied.
"I'm with you." Spyro said, a horse galloping up and allowing him to get on. "Until the bitter end."
Peter smiled at his friends, glad to have some support for the fight as he turned to look at the enemy, glarring at them as was ready.
"FOR NARNIA!" Peter shouted. "AND FOR ASLAN!"
His Unicorn mount reared back back, whinnying as it reared, Peter, Oreius, and Spyro riding out first as the others came out, the entire army that had gathered rushing to the battle ahead, Centaurs, Leopards and many other fast running creatures running out first, the Centaurs lowering their spears as Spyro lifted his Keyblade, summoning massive storm clouds above them as lightning shot down from the clouds and hit the ground around the oposing army, scattering groups of monsters as Peter lowered the visor on his helmet to protect his face, the two armies approaching as Spyro called the Oblivion Keyblade, both sides engaging as Spyro struck down something that resembled a werewolf as he rode through, taking names as he fought through. At the stonetable, Susan and Lucy had remained with Aslan all night, mourning the loss of their friend as the two fillies walked up, finding them next to Aslan as they approached.
"What are you doing here?" Lucy asked.
"Spyro's sent us to find you." Scootaloo replied. "They've gone to battle and he wanted us to be with you."
They looked back at Aslan's lifeless body, Lucy petting him as she wanted to stay with Aslan, Susan getting up and walking over to her sister.
"We should go." Susan said, Lucy getting up.
"I'm so cold." Lucy said, hugging her sister.
"I felt the same way when I lost my brother." Scootaloo replied, walking with them. "That was until he was brought back to life from gathering his heart pieces. Wish I could say Aslan would come back to life like Spyro did."
However, a moment later, the ground shook as they heard something crack behind them to see the table was cracked into multiple pieces and Aslan's body was no longer on the table, shocking them as they walked back up.
"What... just... happened?" Babs asked, looking to Scootaloo as she looked back at her.
"Hey don't look at me, I got no clue what just happened." Scootaloo said. "The Force can't bring people back to life. At least, I don't think it can."
As they approached, the sun was beginning to rise above the hill, but it was what was in the sun that got their attention as a shadow walked up, standing before them as the sun rose up, revealing it was Aslan, making them all happy.
"Aslan!" They exclaimed in excitement.
The lion walked down as everyone went around the table, hugging and tackling him to the ground, laughing in pure joy for their friend who had returned.
"But... the knife." Susan said. "We saw the witch kill you."
"Maybe if the witch understood the true meaning of sacrifice, she'd have interpreted the deep magic a little more differently." Aslan said, looking to the runes on the table. "For when a willing victim is killed in a victims stead, the stone table will crack, and even death itself is turned backwards."
"Fluttershy took the news of your death to the others." Susan said. "They've already went to battle."
"We have to help them." Lucy said, drawing her dagger.
"And we will little one." Aslan replied. "But not without help." He then knelt down for the four of them to get on, the humans getting on and pickign the fillies. "We have a long journey ahead of us. And you may want to cover your ears."
Aslan then roared out, his roar echoing out into the forest as if calling to all those truly loyal to Narnia to come to his aid, running off into the forest to get someplace where he knows of others who could help. In the battle, the fight was continuing, both sides taking casulties, Spyro riding through the enemy and striking down the stronger opponents to give the troops a chance to fight, but then he felt something through the Force, looking up to the cliff as his ears picked up on something in the distance, through faint, he could hear it was something roaring, but from the distance, it was difficult for him to ditinguish what it was. As the fight was going on, Spyro looked to the two witches, seeing that they were keeping the main bulk of their army back, but a moment later, they started to move, hoping to overwhelm them with massive numbers,
"The Witch is moving in!" Rainbow Dash said. "Do we get to unveil the surprise now!?"
"Not yet Rainbow." Applejack said, disappointing the cyan pegasi. "He said to only use them when they're retreating."
"But what if they don't follow?" Fluttershy asked, through scared, she was still angry at the witch for what she did to their friend.
"They'll follow." Applejack replied. "Spyro is smart, he's thought ahead and knows how to win."
She then looked to Edmund, who nodded his head as he looked to one of the archers, who had an arrow ready.
"Fire!" He shouted.
The archer drew the arrow back and released it, the arrow flying into the air before it exploded, signaling a phoenix to come out of the sky and approach the battle field, circling around as it caught fire and struck the ground, cutting off the enemy reinforcements with a massive wall of fire as everyone cheered, allowing for Peter to remove the face guard and smirk at the witch, but she still had a few surprises in store as the flames were instantly extinguished, catching them all off guard as she approached.
"Peter!" Spyro shouted, riding through the enemy and reaching him. "We can't beat them out in the open. We need to retreat to the rocks, draw them into range of the archers and the weapon."
"Agreed." Peter said, turning to the troops. "Fall back! Draw them to the rocks!"
A horn sounded, signalling for them to fall back, which was also the signal for their friends.
"Now?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"Now." Applejack replied.
"Aw yeah, bring it in boys!" Rainbow Dash said, rushing into the sky and and whistling, more giffons coming out from the sky carrying some of Spyro's enchanted crystals.
The remainder of the army was retreating into the rocks, making the enemy follow them as they got deeper and deeper into the rocks, getting them closer to their archers and once they were close enough, the archers began to release volleys of arrows into the enemy, taking down groups at a time as their own archers fired back, but their arrows fell short, but as they retreated, one arrow hit Peter's steed, making him fall to the ground as Oreius and Spyro both stopped, looking back to see him on the ground as the witch was approaching, getting close to the kid as she was getting ready to fight.
"Keep Peter safe." Oreius said, getting his attention. "I'll hold the witch off."
"You know you're not going to win, right?" Spyro asked, Oreis smiling at him.
"It was an honor to serve by your side my prince." Oreius said, drawing both swords. "Take care."
Oreius then rode off to attack the witch, which a rhino followed after him past Peter, who tried to stop them as Spyro arrived, watching a couple of little monsters cut the rhino's legs and make it tumble in pain as Oreius continued ahead, mowing through many of the enemy soldiers, including their general as he tried to grab Oreius to get him to stop, but Oreius used his swords and stabbed him in the back, taking him down as he got his main blade out, yelling a battle cry as he charged the witch, jumping over the bears and swinging, but Jadis just dodged it, Maleficent disappearing in a cloud of smoke as Oreius landed, turning to stop her, but Jadis stabbed him with her wand, turning him into stone much to everypone's dismay as they saw her smile.
"Now what?" Peter asked.
"We got this Pete." Spyro replied, pulling the cover on his bracers back. "Storm cloud, this is central, you are free to engage. Let's light this candle."
"Thought you'd never ask!" Rainbow Dash said.
She flew above the clouds, diving through them with the griffons as they released the first volley of massive crystals as they landed all around, causing explosions of varrying elements from fire, ice, water, wind, poison, and more, knocking the witch off her chariot and looking around as her forces scattered to avoid the explosions, the Griffons backing off as the witch got up.
"Clever." Maleficent said, reappearing as some of the witches army collapsed from the poison. "He's using his crystals to thin out the numbers."
"It won't matter." Jadis said, a faun coming to get her, but she got him first, turning him to stone. "This battle is far from over."
With Aslan and his group, they had arrived at Jadis's house, walking through the courtyard and seeing all those who tried to fight her, seeing they were stone statues and seeing dozens, if not hundreds of them. As they walked, they spotted the statue of Mr. Tumnus, looking terrified and in pain as if pleading for his life, which Lucy and the fillies started to cry, loosing a friend that had saved them once before, helping them to escape Narnia and the Witch. However, Aslan just walked up to Tumnus and softly roared, which his hair moved like it wasn't made of stone and a moment later, he started to return to normal, causing him to gasp for air as he collapsed, Lucy catching him as he fell. He looked at his friend, seeing that she was alright and started laughing, seeing that he was also alright as Scootaloo and Babs ran up, everyone happy to see their friend was alive and well.
"Susan, this is-" Lucy began to say as her sister came up.
"This must be Mr. Tumnus." Susan said, hugging him.
"Come, we must search the castle." Aslan said, having freed a few more Narnians. "We must get everyone we can who can fight."
Back at the battlefield, the griffons were continuing to drop elemental crystals that Spyro had made before the fight, giving them a slight advantage, but they were slowly starting to loose men, Spyro and Peter fighting together as Rainbow Dash kept the skies as clear as she could of the flying Heartless while Fluttershy was with Edmund, helping to keep the kid safe while Applejack ran around, attacking whichever Heartless was closest, slashing through them as she ran around. However, peter looked and saw the witch was getting closer, looking around and seeing that they were loosing, turning to Edmund.
"Edmund!" Peter shoted, getting his brothers attention. "There's too many! Find the girls and get them home!" Edmund did as his brother asked, running out of the field of battle while he stayed, continuing to fight as Spyro did, Force pushing a monster into the cliff while slamming his foot into the ground, creating a chasm and makiung them fall in, closing it up. "Spyro, find your sister, get yourself and your friends out of here!"
"No way kid." Spyro said, cutting down an Armored Knight. "If the Heartless take this world, your home will be lost. I'm staying. Fluttershy, get Applejack and Rainbow Dash, find the fillies, and go with Edmund!"
He continued to fight, Peter looking to his friend as he defended himself from another attack, the two of them fighting together while Edmund and Fluttershy followed Beaver out of the battlefield, but then the kid stopped, looking to his brother and to Spyro, who were fighting a minotaur and a goblin before looking to Jadis and Maleficent, the dark fairy using green flames against some Narnians while the withc stabbed others with her wand, turning them into stone before continuing, which Fluttershy felt something she never felt before rise inside of her, gritting her teeth as she called her Keyblade and Edmund drew his sword.
"Peter said get out of here!" Beaver said.
"Peter's not king yet!" Edmund replied.
He and Fluttershy ran off to keep their friends from being turned into stone, running up the edge of the cliff towards the two witches as they approached Spyro and Jadis, getting closer and closer, the two humans too busy fighting off the enemy to notice them as Jadis raised her wand to attack, but then they both heard someone yell, looking up and seeing Edmund jump down, trying to destroy her wand, but she moved it out of the way, preparing to stab Edmund when Fluttershy screamed out, her anger boiling inside of her as she wanted to make the witch pay for what she did to Aslan, but the witch was too quick, turning and thrusting her wand towards the pegasi, getting her in the chest as she turned to stone, Spyro hearing the scream and looking, watching as the statue of Fluttershy fell to the ground, cauing Spyro's heart to stop, his blood turning cold as everyting around him went silent, time slowing down as he fell to his knees, watching one of the ponies he loved get turned to stone right in front of him.
"No." Spyro said, loosing the will to fight.
As the Witch was pulling the wand out, Edmund used his sword and shattered it, a blinding light shining out and getting Peters attention, seeing his brother fight the witch as she disarmed him and used her broken wand to stab him, though the magic in it was gone and Edmund gasped in pain, Peter shouting his name, but he didn't hear it, collapsing to the ground as the witch threw her destroyed wand away as Peter ran to fight the witch.
"Two down." Jadis said.
"You fool!" Maleficent shouted, Jadis looking at her. "What have you done!?"
"I took care of one of the Keyblade warriors." Jadis replied. "That a problem?"
"It is a problem!" Maleficent replied. "You were supposed to turn the prince to stone, then destroy his friends! If you don't do that, his wrath will be swift and destructive!"
"I can handle them both at once." Jadis said, taking Edmunds sword. "This will not take long."
However, as she said that, Spyro was looking at Fluttershy, seeing her flying on the ground as stone, hearing his own heart beat as a tear rolled down his face, the blue flames reappearing in his eyes as his eyes turned blue instead of into Sith eyes, the whites of his eyes turning black as the skeleton dragon appeared in the flames, roaring out, which everyone heard as the skies became dark. Rainbow Dash and Applejack both stopped fighting and looked to Spyro, seeing him on the ground as they were both surrounded by the golden orb, shattering and releasing the ethereal ponies, running around and circling above Spyro. However, instead of a golden dome for him, the dome was blue with dark flames surrounding it, shattering to reveal a dark silhouette of Spyro, floating in the air as dark blue flames shot out and the skeleton dragon roared out in rage.
[Unknown voice]
Primitive Dragon!
The dragon roared again as multiple minotaurs approached, but the dragon swung it's claws, knocking them into the walls as another got close, but the dragon chomped down on it, making it scream in pain before throwing him into the wall, unleashing a wall of blue flames to both friend and foe alike, causing everyone to back away as the dragon looked back to the sky and thrusting it's claws to the ethereal ponies, catching them both as dark lightning went into them, cusing their to whinny in pain.
Storming Prism!
The cyan pegasi neighed in pain, it's coat turning into a dark indigo as her manes color changed from red, yellow, and blue into green, purple, and orange, blood red eyes as it neighed in anger as dark lightning shot out of her.
Outlaw Hijack!
The orange ethereal pony whnnied in pain as well, the dark lightning going into her and turnign it darker with a black mane and dark red eyes, neighing in anger as the dragon aimed them both at Jadis and Maleficent.
Get!
It then released the ethereal ponies as they charged towards the two witches, Maleficent trying her best to destroy them, but they just passed through the flames and striking the dark fairy, the corrupted pegasi unleashing a flurry of dark lighytning to the ground, hitting enemies and allies alike with no regard for who was friendly or not, forcing Peter to stop and seek shelter as the dark orange pony ran against Jadis, pinning her to a wall and kicking her in the gut, causing her to collapse as the pony got ready to deal a killing blow when the dragon roared again, ordering them to return as the silhouettes eyes opened.
Darkness unleashed!
Maleficent saw the ponies were rushing back to Spyro, conjuring a meteor storm to hit him, but the dragon noticed and unleased flames of it's own, destroying the meteors as it's dark flames covered him as the two ponies rushed into the flames.
Baki Boki Bone!
Gaki Goki Bone!
P-ri-mi-ti~~ve... Dragon!
The dragon roared out, wrapping it's claws over the chest while the head fitted itself on Spyro's the same bone pattern appearing on the legs and arms, but this time the armor was dark orange on the right side with rope and apples over it, dark trees growing with purple leaves and grey trunks with a dark orange shoulder guard in the shape of an earthpony was on his right shoulderwhile on the left side was dark indigo blue with orange, green, and purple streams of eletricity embedded in the armor with starm clouds swirling around, a pair of wings sprouting out with the same colors with a pegasi shoulder guard on his left shoulder. Energy built up around him and he roared out, unleashing that energy and sending any Heartless and any of Jadis's goons flying in different directions, hittng the wall as he growled, cracking his neck as everyone looked at him, some in fear while others were ready for a fight.
"What devilry is this?" Jadis asked.
"I am as surprised as you are my friend." Maleficent replied. "This is new to me. When he is with his friends, he uses what he calls Fusion drives, but this drive is fairly new to me."
A moment later, the corrupted Keyblade warrior rushed towards the witches, which a Minotaur got in the way and swung it's battle ax, hitting the shoulder, but doing no damsge as the armor was pure Beskar, Spyro grabbing the axe and punching the minotaur, using it's own weapon against it as it changed, turning into a corrupted version of the axe, the handle black as night while the blade kept it's original shape, but turned into a redish-orange, dark purple branches appearing and attaching to the blade as he roared out, swinging the axe and knocking down another Minotaur, but as he did, an squadron of archers unleashed a storm of arrows, but they just bounced off the armor, making it look at them as he spun around, holding the blade as the blade started to glow, the eye on the right side glowing with it.
"Malice!" Spyro said, his voice corrupted and sounding demonic one of the branches glowing as it said it. "Fear! Wrath!" As he said it, two more branches glowed on the, lifting it up and hitting the botton of it to the ground, causing the blade to glow a dark red. "Conclusion three!" It picked up the blade and swung it, creating an arc of dark red energy that hit the side and destroyed all the archers, making their bows go everywhere. "Honesty's wrath."
One of the bows fell right next to the warriors feet, bending down and picking it up with his left hand as dark blue flames surrounded it, turning into a miniature crossbow that was mounted onto his arm, tenpurple gems on the bow itself, decorating it. He looked up at the two witches as pointed the bow at them, releasing dark pourple arrows made of dark energy at them, forcing Maleficent to conjure a barrier, but then get thrown back as soon as the first arrow hit it, knocking her out.
"Such power." Jadis said, looking at Spyro. "No wonder she said not to underestimate you."
Spyro rushed over and swung the blade, Jadis dodging as Peter got involved, both of them fighting the waitch as they swung their weapons, Spyro occasionally firing the bow on his arm at the witch as Peter fought, ducking underneath her swords, which she proved to be a superior swordswoman as she knocked Peter down, but Spyro took air, this time the bow was glowing dark blue as a burning arrow was on the bow as the left eye was glowing as Peter got back up.
"Malice!" He said, one of the games glowing. "Fear! Wrath! Hatred!" Three more gems glowed on the bow, reaching up and pressing down on a switch on the bow itself as the witch and Peter locked blades, keeping her in place as he aimed for the both of them. "Conclusion four!" They both looked at him as the arrow glowed purple, firing the weapon right as they broke the lock, dodging the arrow at the last moment as it hit a minotaur, making him yell in pain as the arrow exploded, taking many more enermies with him in the explosion. "Loyalties Hatred!"
"What are you doing!?" Peter shouted, blocking the witch's attack. "Attack the witch, not us!"
Spyro didn't hear him, Primitive Dragon being in full control as it lifted it's blade and charged, swinging for the witch while also punching Peter, knocking him to the ground as it roared in rage, swinging and attacking the witch and firing the arrows as Peter got up, rushing in to help as it kicked the witch away, swinging the blade and Peter blocking the attack, starring at his friend, wondering why he was attacking them.
"Where... are my friends?" Primitive Dragon asked, confusing Peter. "Are... are you... my friend?"
Peter was stunned, looking at his friend as the voice of what sounded like a child came out of him, realizing it wasn;t him as he backed away, breaking the lock on their blades as Spyro roared out, getting ready to attack again, but the witch slashed upaward against it's back, maii8ng it roar in rage as it turned around, taking off into the air as it spread it's wings, releasing a storm of feathers that shot down lightning onto the ground that had them, forcing everyone to seek shelter as Maleficent got up, shaking her head as she looked up, seeing it slam into the ground and choke hold a monitaur before hitting him with a few arrows, throwing him away.
"Such power." Maleficent said. "This is pure, uncontrollabel darkness. Even I cannot handle this much raw power." A corridor opened for her, maleficent turning to it to leave before looking back at the Prince, seeing him going out of control as she smiled. "But when I return, you'll be at my mercy."
She walked through the corridor fleeing the battle field as it closed, narrowly missing an arrow as he was aiming for her, roaring in rage at not hitting her, he rushed towards Jadis and Peter again, fighting them both at once, but the fight didn't last long as they then heard something roaring in the distance, looking to the direction it came from and seeing Aslan, roaring out and shocking everyone, friend and foe alike that he was alive and well.
"A... Aslan?" Spyro asked, his eyes turning purple for a second as behind him, an entire army of allied reinforcements came.
"Impossible." Jadis said.
The reinforcements started to make their way down the side, Jadis taking the advantage and attacked again, catching Peter off guard as he foguth her, Spyro looking as his eyes turned back to blue, fighting the witch as well, but this time only focusing on the witch, leaving Peter alone as they fought. Aslan rushed through the rocks, running to the witch as their reinforcements started to chance the enemy away, knocking them down and mowing them down, but as Aslan was getting there, Jadis knocked Peter down and backhanded Spyro, causing him to tumble backwards and get back up as she stabbed the blade into the ground, hitting his shoulder and pinning him to the ground as he yelled in pain. The witch then started to attack, which Peter used his shield to defend himself, but she knocked the shield out, ready to finish him off.
"NO!" Spyro shouted.
He got control and rushed over, a litteral blur as he stabbed the weapon through Jadis, making her gasp as she looked down, Seeing the blade through her stomach as it was pulled out, making her collapse to the ground and drag herself, Aslan stopping and watched as she tried to get away, but Spyro put the weapon on his back as the bow closed, both eyes glowing red as the skeleton glowed purple.
"Malice!" Primitive Dragon said, an orb appearing behind him. "Fear! Wrath! Hatred! Despair! Strife! Bloodthirst! Ruin! Extinction! Downfall!" As he said it, there were ten orbs, all with the different symbols to represent everything that he said, glowing a dark purple with dark orange and indigo colored clouds appearing, the two ethereal ponies coming out and neighing as they looked at her. "Final Conclusion!" He then started to levitate into the air as the two ponies rushed forward, the dark orange one summoning a black rope and tying the witch up with it, running around and wrapping her up in it and when it was done, the pegasi circled the witch, creating a twister and sending the witch into the air, the two ponies rushing back and going into the armor as it started to glow, flying into the air and raising his hands as a corrupted form of the X-blade appeared, a dark blue blabe with an orange frame on it with blue and orange blades crossing at the base. He took the blade and flew towards her, the witch unable to do anything about it as the blade passed through her, making her scream in pain as he landed on the ground, a massive explosion going off behin them as the witch was slain. "Perfect Conclusion!"
The explosion took out the witch, time slowing down as both armies flew by them, time slowing to a near halt as Spyro turned to his friends, though Primitive Dragon was still in control as he growled, Peter getting his the sword out of his shoulder and ready to fight again.
"Enough." Aslan said, walking towards him. "It is finished."
However, instead of listening, Spyro took a step forward and drew the blade, charging at Aslan to continue the fight, but Aslan let loose a mighty roar, forcing him to stop and hold his ground, but Primitive Dragon roared in pain, causing him to fall to the ground as the fusion ended, Spyro falling to the ground face first as the two ponies fell next to him, both unconcious for a moment before they started to stir, Spyro granning his head as he sat up.
"Ugh, my head." Spyro said, sitting their as his vision was blurry for a moment, but then it came back, he saw Aslan and Peter, not believing what he was seeing. "Aslan?"
"It's alright Spyro." Aslan said, helping Spyro up as he knelt down to let him pick himself up. "It's over."
"Did... did we win?" Spyro asked.
"We did." Peter said, sheathing his sword. "But what happened back there? It was like you turned into a feral beast?"
"Wait... did I..." Spyro asked, now remembering what had happened as a look of horror appeared on his face. "Oh god. What did I do?"
"It's alright Spyro, it wasn't you." Aslan said. "You did none of this. You helped to win the day."
"Peter!" Susan and Lucy shouted, everyone looking to them as they rushed over.
"Spyro!" Scootaloo shouted, she and Babs running to him.
Spyro knelt down and hugged the two fillies, glad to see they were ok right as he looked to Applejack and Rainbow Dash, both looking around and wondering what had happened, which was for the best as he didn't want them to remember what happened.
"Where's Edmund?" Susan asked.
"Hey, where's Fluttershy?" Rainbow Dash asked.
They all looked in the direction of Edmund and Fluttershy, seeing that the kid was still alive, but in terrible condition as the witches dwarf was approaching, ready to finish the job.
"Edmund!" Susan shouted.
The dwarf looked to the sister as she had her bow drawn, releasing an arrow and hitting him in the chest, taking him down as everyone ran over, seeing he was gasping for air. They rushed over and knelt down, removing the kids helmet as Lucy got the potion out, dropping a single drop into her brothers mouth, which his gasping stopped and they all feared the worse, but a second later, he opened his eyes, taking in steady breaths as the potion worked, the siblings hugging him as they were glad that it worked.
"When are you going to ever listen?" Peter asked, everyone laughing.
However, Spyro wasnt laughing as he looked over to the statue of Fluttershy, his heart sinking to see her like that, not knowing how to reverse it, but a second later, Aslan walked over and used his healing breath on her, which she reverted back to normal as she took in some breaths, surprised to be alive, but relieving Spyro as he ran over, hugging her and crying as did the others, glad to see that she was ok.
"Fluttershy." Spyro said, looking at her. "Don't you ever do that again."
Without letting her say another word, he hugged her again as Lucy and Aslan got to work reviving everyone that was turned to stone or on the ground, fighting to stay alive, everyone glad that the war was over now. After a while, all of Narnia was at Castle Care Paravel where the horns were blowing and the four siblings were being escorted by Aslan to the four thrones in front of them, a coronation ceremony taking place, Spyro and the ponies among the crowd as the fillies got to carry the four crowns while everyone watched, glad to see their leaders finally taking their place on the thrones as Aslan turned to the crowd, each of the siblings taking a throne as the fillies approached with Mr. Tumnus behind them.
"To the Glistening Eastern Sea, I gove you Queen Lucy, the Valiant." Aslan said, Tumnus picking up a silver crown made of silver leaflets, placing it upon her head as she smiled, Tumnus getting the second silver crown and walking over to Edmund. "To the great western wood, King Edmund, the Just." He then place the crown on his head, moving onto Susan as he picked up the golden crown made of gold leaflets. "To the radiant Southern Sun, Queen Susan, the Gentle." Tumnus then placed the crown on her head, walking over and getting the other golden crown, walking over to Peter. "And to the clear Northern Sky, I give you King Peter, the Magnificent!" As the final crown was set ontop his head, the four siblings took their places on the throne, Aslan turning to them. "Once a king and Queen of Narnia, always a king and queen. May your wisdom grace us until the stars raindown from the heavens."
He then turned to everyone, who all looked thrilled to have the four siblings as their rulers.
"Long live king Peter!" They all chanted, hearing laughter as everyone saw the lion with the graffiti still on him, making them nearly laugh. "Long live king Edmund! Long live Queen Susan! Long live Queen Lucy!"
Everyone cheered for the new kings and queens, celebrating the coronation of their new rulers as they got into the festivities, everyone enjoying themselves, but as they were having fun, Spyro was outside, leaning on the railguard overlooking the beach as the sun was setting, looking out and thinking about what had happened back at the battle, hearing Primitive dragon roar inside of his head as his eyes flashed blue for a moment before returning to normal.
"You seem troubled." Aslan said, approaching. "What is causing you great despair my friend?"
"It's what happened in the battle Aslan." Spyro replied, looking at the lion. "That thing... what took control... I... I'm so sorry about what happened."
"You don't need to apologize for what you couldn't control." Aslan said, looking to him. "What matters now is that the day was won."
"Yeah, but I felt like I could have done better to control that thing." Spyro replied, looking back to the beach. "What if I can't control it? I fuse again and hurt my friends? How would I live with myself then?"
"Spyro, look at me." Aslan said, Spyro looking to him. "A time will come when you will learn to accept what is inside you, for that power is a part of you now. Only when you learn to let go of your fear of it, will you see what you did not before." Spyro didn't fully understand, looking at his hand as he could feel Primitive Dragon inside of himself, waiting for another opportunity to get out and cause some destruction before looking to his friends, seeing them having a great time as he smiled. "Now then, I do believe it's time to get you home."
"But the portal..." Spyro said.
"I created the portal that brought you here, I can create one to send you home." Aslan replied.
He walked over to an empty area of the castle, roaring gently as the plants around moved, forming the frame of a portal as everyone watched, seeing it activate as a golden light came from it, the ponies walking up to it.
"Another portal?" Rainbow Dash asked. "Where does this one go?"
"Home." Spyro replied, walking it to the ponies. "It's a portal to home."
"You're already leaving?" Lucy asked, walking up to them.
"It's time for us to return home." Spyro replied, picking Scootaloo up. "We've been away for long enough."
"Will we see you again?" Edmund asked, Spyro smiling at them.
"Someday, maybe." Spyro replied, lookign at them. "But friends never say goodbye. We'll see you guys later. Take care of yourselves. Don't wanna fight another war for ya, alright?"
They laughed as they hugged, Spyro putting the filly down as he hugged his friends, getting one last look at everyone as they passed through the portal, returning to Equestria and back into Spyro's garage as he reverted back to his pony hybrid form.
"They're back!" Granny Smith said.
"Already!?" Pinkie asked, seeing them back. "And I thought I was quick with teleporting."
"Darlings, you're all ok." Rarity said, running up to them. "You've been gone for almost ten minutes."
"Ten minutes!?" Scootaloo asked, completely shocked. "But we've been in there for nearly a week!"
"Time moves differently in all worlds Scoots." Spyro said, looking back to the portal as it crumbled.
"Will we get to see them again?" Babs asked, looking up at Spyro.
"Someday, maybe." Spyro replied, ruffling up her hair. "When Narnia needs us, I'm sure it will call." He then looked at everyone, seeing how tired they were as he himself yawned, exhausted from the journey they went on. "Right now, let's get some sleep. It's been a long ten minutes." They walked out of the garage to get back to sleep, the fillies following behind when Spyro stopped, looking back at them with a stern look. "Don't think I forgot what you did breaking into my garage. We'll discuss your punishment in the morning."
He then continued to the farm house, leaving the fillies worried as they walked out o the garage as it closed.
"I was hoping he'd have forgotten about that." Babs said.
"Trust my, my brother's got a good memory." Scootaloo replied. "He never forgets what happens in the past."
The fillies continued to follow Spyro back to the farm house as the stars twinkled in the sky, an image of Aslan appearing in the stars as a lion roared out int he night as the image faded, the night ending as everyone went back to bed.
