Dates, and Meeting the Supporter
A/N: Hello everyone, I don't know if this will be made in time for Christmas but, I do hope it does.
Even so I will say this right here right now!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
With that out of the way, I want to continue to say thank you all so much for reading my stories. People call my most newest story Torture porn. But, keep in mind some other stories are worser than that in terms of sadness for Jaune. I have read them, and in those ones he turns either over powered or just enough to show that "yes, I can stand with all of you."
But with that story he is still essentially at a very low level, and now that he is leaving things are going to be rough living by himself, and we all know that things are tough with living alone. In the wilds is the icing on the cake, and hated by most of the world forget about it.
But anyway, on with this chapter's summary. Jaune was able to withstand Freya's charm, due to his aura. I am making it like this so that aura is more than just a forcefield that protects the individual, but can protect from other things. As we have seen a charm.
But keep in mind, I am not making it that every aura having person is able to resist charms like that. Jaune was able to due to his high enough aura. So the more aura you have the more likely for you to resist things like that.
And Jaune will finally meet Lily, let's see if he is just as accepting of her as Bell is. And we will be seeing how Bell and Jaune will be getting magic.
I will say this now, I will not include Bell's essentially "Dive into the heart" session, but I need to really think of how I am going to use Jaune's.
But without a further ado, let's go!
"EHHHHH?!" Was the collective cry of Bell and Lily. The sun was setting by the time they came up. They turned in their stones and drops. And it came to an amazingly 60,000 valis! They didn't know they went that strong in the dungeon!
"60,000 valis, I can't believe it master Bell!" Lili exclaimed in shock and joy, but majority shock, she didn't expect such a bounty.
"I can't believe it myself, just the two of us and this happened!" Bell exclaimed in shock. This is how much he and Jaune would make on a low or average day. To see that, it will only need just him and Lili to make this much in one day, they can only imagine how much they could make with Jaune with them.
All three could probably could possibly make 100,000 valis!
"You did amazing Master Bell! We made a lot more money than a party of five level 1s would have made in one day! Lili spoke in honest surprise and slight awe. While she has seen some level 1s make big money, they would only usually get about 15,000 to 20,000 valis. But it was just her and Bell! She would lie and say that she didn't enjoy being with Bell. She can see how different Bell is from other adventurers, and is willing to be kind and respectful to her. And on top of that, he feeds her very good food too, and doesn't let her starve, so that's a huge bonus!
She still didn't trust him, and in all honesty still kind of hates him. He is an adventurer and in her experience, adventurers were always bad. This is not good, she needs to get away from him soon, before she gets too close, and not want to let go! Bell then spoke up flustered.
"Well I guess it's like the old saying goes. "Even rabbits can climb trees, if you flatter them enough." Bell said to Lili, an odd saying that even she doesn't know what that means.
"I have no idea what that means, but whatever you say then, Master Bell." Lili said to him in a half fake and half genuine smile. "Let's see if we can get even more tomorrow!" Lili spoke up in genuine joy, and eagerness.
"Now we have to decide on how we are going to split up the money." Lili said, looking to her side, thinking of how she can get more, than usual, adventurers usually only give about a tenth of their loot to her, so maybe she can at least get a third of it. But her train of thought stopped when she felt a few pouches of valis in her hands.
"Oh sure here you go." Bell said, handing her the pouches of valis. He still grinned happily at valis he had made. "I bet I could buy goddess Hestia and Jaune a lot of food with all of this." Bell said in joy, thinking what he could still do for the familia! Maybe they can even make the church more homely again, even upgrade it so they won't have to sleep in the basement anymore.
Lili was just in complete shock. She stared shocked at the bags, this was half of the loot, a whole 30,000! What was happening, her entire world view was starting to shatter! Bell looked at her, still with a joyful smile.
"Say you want to get something to eat-" "Wa-wait a second master Bell." Lili interrupted Bell.
"This is half of our earnings…shouldn't you try to take more of your share?" Lili questioned. Adventurers are supposed to be greedy, so what is going on here?! Bell just looked at her confused at this.
"You are the one who has helped me with everything, I couldn't have gotten this much by myself right? I mean your part of the team so it only makes sense that you get this much." Bell said to her with him smiling again. This caused Lili to breath in shock, hearing how kindly he spoke about her. Bell continued his praise of her.
"You are a huge help Lili, thank you so much for being here, and I feel Jaune will agree with me, especially once, he meets you." Bell said still holding his hand out toward her. "You're a really amazing help Lili." Bell ended with kind smile toward her.
Lili looked on confused at this, and slowly reached to Bell, and shook his hand. Much to Bell's delight. Lili looked down with a small frown, her hood covering her eyes.
"You are so weird." Lili muttered to herself.
But after that, they both agreed to go get something to eat. She was not going to say no to a good meal, and she walked with Bell with a genuine smile.
Over in the guild a member of Soma familia was being really impatient and greedy with how much he thought he was getting.
"Only 12,000 valis, are you serious there has to be a mistake somewhere, come on!" The adventurer slammed his fist down and whined about it. Nearby Eina, Rose, and another pink haired receptionist known as Misha Flott were listening.
"Oh not this again, look over there, it's one of the Soma familia throwing a tantrum again." Misha whispered to the two. Eina was finishing up her paper work, with Rose sitting near them. In truth Rose was sitting around waiting for Jaune to come around.
She will never admit it, but she actually enjoys seeing Jaune around. Now she doesn't see him as a friend, at least not yet, but seeing him around makes her feel….happy? Granted she doesn't like adventurers because she doesn't want to be a widow so early, but Jaune is starting to make her feel a spark of something. She knows it's not romantic, but she can feel an honest friendship…maybe.
She was getting worried that he hasn't been around for a few days since Monsterphelia. She is worried if he was hurt with that incident, or worse, she will wait a few more days for him to come around. But she listened to the convo that Misha said to them.
Both Eina and Rose turned to see the adventurer about to cry somewhat.
"This is nowhere near enough!" The adventurer put his hand on his head covering his eye as he started to tear up.
"Just like the others, just as unstable as ever." Eina said. "Bell please try to be careful in there ok?" Eina said in slight fear. She knows that his supporter is in the Soma familia, and she is worried about that. With the others nodding. Rose decided to speak up.
"Hey do any of you know what happened to Jaune?" Rose for the first time spoke up to them today. "He hasn't been here for a while, since he is with your adventurer's familia Eina, I think you might know." Rose questioned them, but more towards Eina.
This caused Eina to perk up at that. She hasn't seen Rose so interested in another adventurer before. And at first she was curious about Jaune too, she did ask Bell about it yesterday, and Bell just told him that, he was getting his weapon upgraded, and wouldn't be back for a little while, it was almost a week, so that made sense. Eina turned to Rose and gave her a small kind smile.
"Jaune is fine Rose. Bell told me that he was upgrading his weapon, and it would take sometime for it to be done, so he has been busy with that." Eina said to her. Rose closed her eyes leaned her head on her hand and gave a sigh.
"Ok good." Rose said in her usually uncaring voice. But in truth she was smiling on the inside, and super relieved that Jaune is ok. Misha decided to tease her colleague, and gained a teasing smirk.
"Ooohhh, what's wrong Rose, your favorite adventurer caught your attention, or is he something more for you?" Misha smirked leaning towards her. Rose simply shoved her lightly, huffed and started walking away.
"As if I would care for an adventurer that much." Rose said walking away. What they didn't see was Rose blushing as she walked away calmly. When she walked away. She started breathing heavier ever so slightly, and held up her hands to her blushing face. He tail even started to wag slightly.
'What am I doing, he's an adventurer, he will die soon anyway! But when I hear that he was hurt, it makes me worried and sad, and when he returns, it makes me feel…..happy?! What is going on?!' Rose thought to herself.
Meanwhile Jaune was busy sleeping. He managed to bathe a little before he laid down, earlier, and was sleeping away. In his sleep he sneezed. He was having a dreamless sleep but saw red hair when he sneezed in his sleep. It reminded him of Pyrrha, and Ruby. Either Hephaestus or Rose was thinking about him. He curled up in his blanket more, snoozing away.
It was almost 10 in the morning, and Jaune was awoken by groaning and somewhat screams of pain. He quickly sat up and looked to wear the noise was coming from. He could see Hestia under her blanket, and moving in pain holding her head.
"Oh the pain!" Hestia yelled out, clutching her head from drinking too much last night. She was upset seeing Bell with Lili, going out to eat, and assumed that Bell was cheating on her…..even though they are not dating.
So she was drinking with Miach, one of the only gods she is friendly with, and practically her only best friend outside of Hephaestus. He listened to her woes and walked her home when she was flat out drunk yelling about how much she loved Bell. She fell asleep when they came close to her home.
He had to drop her off in her home. He had seen her newest child sleeping away, snoring slightly. He could tell that boy is exhausted. He smiled at that, seeing that her familia was always hard working made him very glad to see Hestia growing to be better.
He put her down in bed and covered her up and left out even before Bell got back.
Back to now, Bell was standing next to Hestia with cup of water, looking on confused and some worry.
"Umm goddess Hestia, are you alright." Bell asked concerned. He didn't even notice Jaune was awake, just seeing that Hestia seemed sick he was overly focused on her. Hestia sprang up and gulped down the cup of water, and turned around and pouted at Bell.
Bell just looked on with a bead of sweat going down his head and looking confused at this.
"Uhh goddess Hestia, is something wrong? Your acting kind of….weird?" Bell asked. Jaune looked at him with a deadpanned look.
'Of course there is something wrong Bell. I have seen this many of times, but to be fair Bell was probably never really around women until recently.' Jaune thought to himself, laying back down for a little bit, waiting until they were done with their little spat.
Hestia brought her knees to her chest. Still pouting, almost like a little child.
"Hmph, I'm fine." Hestia muttered slightly. She was looking down in some sadness. "Who cares what you think…you cheater." Hestia muttered just a little louder, but she doubts that Bell heard her. She felt a warm cloth on her head, and turned to see that Bell put it on he. Bell wanted to at least make things right with her, and decided of the two of them to have some quality time for themselves.
He would invite Jaune, but he felt that he needs some one on one time with Hestia, and he didn't want to wake Jaune up, he was probably still very tired from all the work he had to do. Bell decided to speak up, and sounding a little sheepish.
"Ummm, I don't know if this is a bad time but, when is the next time you are free, like with some time off?" Bell asked her. Hestia turned around more a little confused with what Bell was getting at. Jaune was listening in, and was glad that Bell is taking the advantage to do something nice for Hestia.
"Time off, what do you mean Bell?" Hestia asked him. Bell just sheepishly scratched his cheek trying to find the right words to say.
"Well you see, ever since I got my supporter to help out, I have been getting a lot more money lately, and I was wondering if you would like to go out sometime, just the two of us." Bell said to her sheepishly. Jaune listened on and widened his eyes slightly, he was surprised to see that Bell is possibly taking a huge step with Hestia. Maybe he wants to return his feelings too.
'…..Nope that's not it.' Jaune thought to himself with a deadpanned expression. He knows that Bell is denser than a rock, to her feelings like that. He may be aware of them, but he probably doesn't want to reject her, in the fear of hurting her, or something. But Jaune is going for the reason he doesn't return the feelings, because Bell doesn't see it, like he didn't see Pyrrha's feelings, and didn't see how Weiss didn't like him.
But he hopes, he becomes aware soon, it hurts to realize it before it was too late. He never had a chance to explore those feelings for Pyrrha, and he doesn't know how that would have gone, and he will never know.
Hestia's eyes glowed in joy, and sat up in his face. And leaned forward.
"Like a date?" Hestia asked with her voice growing in excitement. She got up from her bed and got in his face.
"How about today?" Hestia questioned, but seemed like a demand. All Bell could say was "Huh?"
"Yeah today!" Hestia almost exclaimed and demanded in joy. Making Bell back up more and hit the wall slightly
"Woah hold on-"
"We're going today!" Hestia practically demanded. Bell was now slouched on the wall with Hestia standing over him, looking him in his eyes, and foreheads almost touching. Bell was just nervous now.
And in truth so was Jaune. Hestia was possessive. Now he is starting to feel that having Hestia as a lover for Bell, might not be a good idea. She hasn't shown signs of crazy, but is loving and understanding of course. But she just seems like the crazy romantic, but won't physically hurt you, so that's a good sign….hopefully.
But again, that's what Jaune is getting with all of this in front of him right now.
"But, I thought you were sick, and let's not be too loud Jaune is asleep."
"Nope all better now." Hestia said in joy and hopped on her bead and went to her closet.
"And I'm already awake." Jaune said to them. They turned and gave Jaune happy smiles, Hestia jumped over to hug Jaune.
"Jaune it's so good to have you back!" Hestia exclaimed in join, hugging him tightly. Jaune returned the hug with a smile.
"Yeah it's good to be back." Jaune said to her, and Bell walked over smiling to.
"It's great to have you back Jaune! Did everything turn out ok?" Bell asked in joy, with Hestia releasing the hug nodding in agreement and excitement, she wants to see what happened with Crocea Mors.
Jaune turned to where his sword and shield was. They followed his gaze to see his scabbard/ shield, had the same markings like the Hestia knife, but more on the ends of the shield. Bell went over and looked at Jaune for approval. Jaune nodded in approval.
Bell unsheathed Crocea Mors in all it's glory. The shape looked almost the same, just a tiny bit bigger than before, the handle too. But not much that you can tell it is different. The mechanics in the shield keeps the shield keeps the blade in place which is why before the sword could stay in place and not fall out when moving, and turning it to a great sword.
The sword still had the regular silver it usually had in the middle, but it seemed to be black in the edges. It had the same markings on Bell's knife, and then he saw it. The blade glowed a bit, recognizing that the a familia member was holding the blade, and came to life.
Bell held on to it in awe, if felt amazing and he could tell it was alive, just like his knife! It felt great in his hands, truly amazing. He swung it around slightly testing it. It was sturdy, almost like it was meant for him. But he can feel that, this is not his blade, it was Jaune's like how Jaune said his knife was amazing, but he is not used to knives, and that it didn't feel right in his hands, like it was Bell's weapon, it was meant for him.
Bell put Crocea Mors back into it's sheath. And turned around smiling.
"Crocea Mors is amazing Jaune, it works exactly my knife! It will grow as you get stronger, let's continue to get stronger together!" Bell said in excitement. Jaune just smiled with Hestia walked up to her dresser with joy. She then smelled herself.
"He is right Jaune, let's all continue to get stronger! And Bell, meet me at six o'clock sharp tonight, in the south west mainstreet of Mor Plaza ok?" Hestia said with a thumbs up.
Bell and Jaune just looked, with Bell just agreeing, and Jaune just sighing. She grabbed her dress that she wanted to wear hiding it from them, and running out. They looked on confused, if she wanted to wash up she could have done it here, but it's whatever. Jaune decided to get up and get his day started, but before that he turned to Bell.
"Hey Bell, how about I come with you to at least meet up with her so you won't be so nervous ok?" Jaune said to Bell. Bell just looked on slightly confused and concerned.
"But Jaune, are you sure, I mean you were gone for almost a week don't you want to rest more?" Bell asked with slight concern. Jaune just waved it off.
"Eh don't worry, I was sleeping since almost noon yesterday, I'm more than well rested, and besides I am going in the dungeon, for a little while, I want to test out my upgrades. But don't worry, I am only going into the first couple floors, so I will be quick. And besides I got to drop by the guild and meet up with Rose, got to let her know I am back and alright." Jaune said to Bell with a small smile, with Bell nodding in agreement.
Bell said he will wait at home, and is going to think of what he will want to do with Hestia later on. Jaune got prepared and packed a small lunch for him if he is in the dungeon longer than usual. As he left he made sure to see if his sword stay snugged on him and felt it in his hands just to make sure again.
He went straight to the dungeon and went towards the second floor. Jaune immediately seen a goblin wandering about, and Jaune whistled to get it's attention. The creature turned it's head towards him, it snarled in hatred, and ran towards him.
Jaune simply side stepped the creature's charge. It tried to hit him with its claws and Jaune just kept moving. True Jaune could just kicked this thing and kill it instantly but, he needs to test his weapon officially. Jaune then unsheathed his sword and swung it diagonally cutting through the monster like butter. Jaune was somewhat satisfied, but he knew Crocea Mors could do that already, even without the upgrades. It looks like the first couple floors wouldn't do for him.
"Sorry Bell I might take a little bit longer to get back, but I will be back soon." Jaune said to himself. He knows that, it is not even noon yet, so he has time.
So Jaune decided to go down to the 6th floor. On the way there he ran into kobolds, and more goblins. Despite how powerful Jaune is compared to the monsters, he can still feel, how tough they are through his sword.
Jaune made it to the 6th floor and walked for a few minutes. He heard a sound getting closer to him, and jumped back quickly a to see a spiky tongue hit just where he was standing. He looked to his side to see a frog shooter, retracting it's tongue, about to fling again. Jaune just stood there with his shield and sword out. His shield glowed a faint blue like his sword when he always first wields it. He wanted to see how his shield worked now.
The monster flung it's tongue at him, but Jaune raised his shield up and quickly blocked the hit. Jaune felt the force but to him it felt like a slight push. Without the upgrade he could feel a lot more force, granted it didn't bother him too much, but he didn't want to take any chances.
When the tongue retracted Jaune pushed forward, after waiting a few seconds, the monster tried to wrap him with it's tongue, Jaune allowed it to briefly wrap it's tongue around his torso, and felt the creature pull him. Jaune dug his feet into the ground, only being dragged ever so slowly. The frog monster was struggling with him for the most part. Jaune just smirked at. Looking directly in it's one eye, Jaune raised his sword and gave diagonal slice, cutting through the tongue like butter, cutting it off all together.
The monster just screamed in pain, and was about to charge at Jaune, but Jaune was in front of it already. He stabbed his sword down into its eye, causing the monster to die almost instantly. Jaune was about to breath but heard a small screech behind him.
Jaune just jumped out of way, a shadowy claw hitting the wall. Granted he could have tanked the hit easily enough, but he is working more on his agility now. Said monster was a War Shadow. But what he seen there was more than one of them. They always either come in pairs or groups. And there seemed to be six of them, all looking at him with their weird one glowing eye, which was magic stone oddly enough.
He already fought these guys before, and easy enough for him. One lunged at him, wanting to sink it's claws into his skull. Jaune simply raised his shield up when it was coming down. The creature's arm was deflected with its arm swinging backward. Jaune did a back hand swing, like he did the that Ursa Major, back in his world, and decapitated the shadow.
It's magic stone fell on the ground with a small thud, it looked pretty big for a regular war shadow. And Jaune just charged at them. Slicing one diagonally, severing it's top half, and fell dead. Jaune blocked another strike coming from his left hand side. Jaune brought his shield to his side, and leapt back ward to give himself distance. The blow missed somewhat, only scratching the shield slightly.
Jaune thrusted his sword forward stabbing the shadow right through it's shadowy chest, killing it instantly. Jaune then went to kill the rest with ease. Crocea Mors felt so much more lighter, and stronger! The upgrade was amazing, and he will continue to use it humbly, and honorably.
A few hours passed, and he seen a clock outside the dungeon. The time was about 3PM, so he still had time to meet up with Bell.
Jaune had a bag loot to trade in, and he needed to see Rose anyway.
As Jaune entered the guild, it was busy as usual, but not as much as usual. Jaune approached the receptionist desk, and seen Eina writing doing her paper work, and Rose had her back turned. Eina looked up and was about to say something, but Jaune stopped her, by putting a finger on his lips, and smirking.
Eina knew what he was getting at and nodded keeping her giggles contained. Jaune approached Rose quietly, and stood there for a few seconds, he cleared his throat and made himself sound different.
"Excuse me miss, I am looking for beautiful wolf woman, with deep red hair, and she fit your description." Jaune said in a fake voice. Does he usually flirt with girls, not really, he always felt that he was not worthy of that, but he felt confident in himself, with a new weapon, so he was in a good mood.
He seen Rose sag, and sighed with annoyance.
"I am not interested in people who throw their lives awa-" Rose was saying at first with almost gritted teeth. But paused when she saw Jaune's face. Her annoyed eyes turned softer and happier inside.
"I know your not, but I do try to be friend and make you happy." Jaune said this time in his regular voice. Rose then walked to the swinging doors connecting the desk to the other adventures, and approached Jaune. She gently slapped him, much to Jaune's confusion. Was his flirting really that offensive to her?! But then he felt her hug him.
…Wait, what?
Everyone around stood frozen, and Eina was absolutely speechless. Rose never showed this level of emotion to anyone before, especially adventurers!
Jaune looked down slightly in shock to see Rose hugging him briefly, but he returned it. It was always nice to be hugged by someone who cares about you. He seen Rose's ears twitch, and she started speaking.
"You idiot." Rose started. "Why didn't you come by and tell me where you were. We were worried that something happened to you. I was actually worried." Rose said breaking the hug and looking at him with stern eyes. It almost reminded him of the stern look that Weiss and Ms. Goodwitch would give to others. Jaune wilted under the gaze feeling guilty for not saying anything. He just rubbed the back of his head, and couldn't look her in the eyes.
"I'm sorry Rose, the meeting I had was important since I had a meeting with a goddess. And I couldn't keep her waiting, it involved my family sword, and I couldn't miss this opportunity, and it took me almost a week to just finish it up, and I couldn't leave the forge." Jaune said, speaking a little sadly. He then looked her in the eyes, full of guilt.
"I didn't get a chance to sleep properly the whole week, and I was sleeping for over 17 hours, but I should have really went by to see you, I am so sorry." Jaune said looking down slightly.
Rose crossed her arms under her bust and gave him her normal look, but her eyes were full emotion. She felt bad for being upset with Jaune, and was just happy to see him. Her annoyance, and slight anger, were pretty much gone, hearing his side of the story. She just sighed and gave a rare small smile toward him.
"Thank you for telling me the truth Jaune, I am still upset for you not telling me what was up, and weirdly enough, out of all the adventurers, I actually like seeing you the most." Rose said, with her playing with her, red hair slightly, and no one saw, but her tail was wagging slightly.
Jaune just looked up in slight shock, to see her blushing slightly. It reminded him how Weiss got flustered with seeing him sometimes at Haven, and when he healed her during the big fight with Cinder. Jaune shook his head slightly. This is Rose not Weiss, that time is over, he won't see them again. No matter how much he wants to.
"I am really sorry Rose, I will try to keep you more in the loop going forward, I promise." Jaune said to her, looking right in her eyes. Rose just got a slight smirk.
"You better Mr. Arc." Rose said to him. Jaune just smiled and laughed a little. Eina just smiled at that. It seems a kind hearted adventurer had changed Rose for the better. Hopefully she keeps that fire even if Jaune is not here.
Rose may not say anything but she is in a familia, she doesn't want to say who, but she does have a falna. She doesn't show it, or tell anyone about it. And she knows that thanks to her falna she will be physically young for a very long time, that and her werewolf heritage makes her live longer than humans.
But getting back to business Jaune told her about his new blade and showed her. She was impressed how it looked, and how he went into the dungeon alone. He said he wanted to test out his blade. So he slowly went down the floors. He even went past the fifth floor. Rose scolded him for going that far without anyone, but Jaune reassured her that he could handle it.
Rose just sighed at that.
"I know you can, I heard about your time during monsterphellia, how you helped out the Sword Princess, and that tells me you are stronger than the regular adventurer." Rose said, giving in to Jaune's reassurance. But then her eyes narrowed.
"That being said, Jaune, I want to see part of your status." Rose said quietly to him. This caused Eina and Jaune's eyes to widen. Eina knows that can be illegal, but she already did that for Bell, so this is only fair to Rose.
"Are you sure, I thought that was illegal?" Jaune questioned her. But Rose waved her hand, with a careless manner.
"Eh it's alright, let's go to a more quiet area, so no one will see, and don't worry I am only seeing the status, no skills, or anything ok?" Rose reassured him. Jaune just nodded at this and left with her. Eina just looked at them go, and kept a look out to see if anyone heard them.
To say that Rose was beyond shocked was an understatement. She gazed at Jaune's growth, with such emotion she never let anyone see. Her jaw dropped at how big he was.
His strength was an A, and his endurance was an S! He could level up right now if he wanted to! He has only been an adventurer for only a month, and look at this now! His agility is only a D, but, everyone is lower in stats somewhere. Not everyone can have it all balanced out equally. But she just thought of it. He was with Ais Wallenstein, and helped her and her familia, and killed some monsters, so that huge growth does make sense. But she still wants him to be careful his agility is still low, so he needs to be more careful, but again everyone has their strengths in something more aligned for them.
"Y-your endurance is an S." Rose stated. Jaune nodded at that sheepishly. It was probably due to his semblance, but he wasn't going to tell her that.
"So that is pretty amazing huh?" Jaune asked, but he was being humble. Rose put a hand on his shoulder, and he seen the serious look on her.
"Jaune, this gives the ground of a level up, if you at least get two S ranks, you can level up. Jaune Arc, you could be the one with the most quickest level up in history of all of Orario." Rose said to him in seriousness. Jaune looked on in shock, why didn't Hestia say anything, about leveling up?!
"Uhh, what's the current record?" Jaune asked just to make sure, why Hestia didn't tell him this.
"The current holder is Ais Wallenstein, it took her a whole year to level up." Rose said to him. Jaune was putting his hoody and armor back on him. Now that Rose had told him about the current record. It took someone as amazing as Ais to level up so long, so he could see why Hestia didn't say anything. He didn't want to put a target on the Familia right now. They just started to stay afloat, the Jack Bird helped them out, so as time goes on, they need to build themselves up more, and bring in new people, but first they either need to move out of the old church, or fix it up to have home base, and not live in the basement anymore.
"I see what you mean Rose, but don't worry, I won't be leveling up anytime soon, hearing that it took someone that long to level up, that will put a huge target on not just my familia's head, but mines as well." Jaune said to her. Rose nodded in agreement, glad that Jaune knew the risks of leveling up so early.
"One of the reasons is, I want my captain to be on my level too. With two level ups, that can help our familia, by bring in new people who are interested in us. And I want to up my agility, and dexterity as you have seen. So I am more on moving around a lot and blocking with my shield rather than killing my current enemies right now." Jaune said to her. Back in Remnant his friends were all more flexible, and agile than he was.
He always felt that no matter how much he trained, they were always getting much stronger and beyond him. But here, he can get even more stronger, and be the huntsman that he and everyone else believed he could be.
Rose just smiled, not smirk smiled at him. She was so glad to have a humble, and smart adventurer. He was a breath of fresh air, and was glad that he is responsible. And she swore, to support him properly.
"That's good, I heard that Bell has permission to go further down than the fifth floor, and I am giving you permission too. If he is ready, your ready too." Rose said to him, smiling. Jaune just returned the smile, and gave her a hug. Rose 'eeped' a little, but returned the hug.
"Thank you so much Rose, and I promise to continue to keep you in the loop, and I will always come back alive." Jaune said as he broke the hug, and gave her joyful reassuring smile. Rose just blushed at that and looked away.
"You better Mr." Rose muttered out.
After that, Jaune gave his report of how things went into the dungeon, and what he killed. It was simple really, he had almost 80 kills if he recalls. Hence the heavy bag so far. With that out of the way he went to cash in his loot.
He had a few drops, and came out to 11,000 valis. Above all a good haul. Jaune left out, and seen that the day was getting later. He looked at another clock that was about 4PM. So he decided to head back home and meet up with Bell.
The walk back was uneventful, and meeting up with Bell was simple too. Jaune commented on wearing something nice, but Bell said he hasn't gone out to get new non-adventuring clothes as of yet, and promised to get more clothes, and he said his current clothes are memories from home.
Jaune agreed with that after all, his hoodie was sentimental to him as well. He got confused and mocking laughs from people here, and back home, but he didn't care. He had this hoodie for a long while, he and his mother always restitched it, to let it fit better on him. It was made with really well made materials, and he will wear it with pride.
Just like his onesie. His sisters made it by hand for him, so he will take the mocking with his head held up high, knowing that it was gift from his sisters. It's sad that he doesn't have it right now, but, he will have to deal with it.
Time passed by, with it almost 5PM. Jaune and Bell left to go meet up with Hestia. It took them a little longer to get to the place due to not visiting the area often. It was 5:20 PM now. Jaune and Bell just looked on with quiet patience. They were both looking around and noticed one thing. This is a hot spot for couples.
The statue itself was for a romantic meetup, seeing a man and women together, and the atmosphere of the area, especially with sunset hitting in, it made the mood of the area. Jaune decided to say something.
"You know, I could see why Hestia chose this area." Jaune said, getting Bell attention.
"This is a place for couples, and Hestia wanted to go on a date with you, so it makes since huh?" Jaune said to Bell. Bell just blushed a little at that.
"Y-yeah that is true." Bell said , scratching his cheek slightly. "But still to be here, feels a little overwhelming, I would be a nervous wreck, thank you for being here with me Jaune." Bell smiled slightly at Jaune. Said guy just smiled small at him, and nodded. It was only month that Jaune has been here, and it already feels like, that they were brothers.
Another 25 minutes passed when they heard panting coming towards them.
"Bell!" Hestia came running up with her hair down. "And Jaune?" Hestia tilted her head cutely at seeing him. Jaune just waved a little.
"I'm just here for emotional support for Bell, and to see you all off, don't worry." Jaune said to Hestia. Hestia just smiled at that nodded joyfully.
"Thank you so much Jaune, we should go out sometime, this is a special day for me and Bell. But your also part of my familia, so it's only fair right?" Hestia said to Jaune. They knew she was doing it just so Jaune won't be so lonely, and to go out to show how much she care for him. She may be in love with Bell, but she does love Jaune too. Just not like that. Jaune just smiled lightly at that.
"I would love to, Hestia." Jaune said to her much to Hestia's and Bells happiness. She then turned her attention to Bell. She asked if he liked it, and he said he loved it. And Jaune agreed at that, she was beautiful.
Hestia went to reach for Bell's hand. But was stopped with the gasps of multiple women? Jaune looked around to see a woman holding two tree branches with leaves on them, and one hold a frame for a painting. He just looked on with a raised and confused eyebrow. He resisted the urge to chuckle at that, but wondered who were they, but he could feel that they are goddesses what in the world was happening.
"Ohhh~ is this Hestia's boyfriend?" A goddess asked. Hestia was confused at this, and the woman holding the frame pushed it into Hestia, knocking her away.
A multiple of goddesses were surrounding Bell. Jaune was pushed out of the way slightly.
"W-wait ladies what are you all doing?!" Bell asked, now getting grabbed and hugged by them. Jaune and Hestia were just in too much shock. Jaune was just confused and somewhat jealous. He was never lucky with ladies back home, and it seemed that he was not lucky here either.
Sure there is Tiona, Lefiya, and Rose, but the first two don't really know him. And he knows that Rose is not too interest in a relationship right now, despite how she is feeling with him right now. He will not jump and ruin it. He messed that up with Weiss, and he doesn't want to make the same mistake again.
Hestia was just on the ground stuttering, and looking like she had seen a ghost. Jaune went to help her up, which she accepted still looking at the goddesses in shock. Another goddess showed up. She seemed to be as tall as Ruby was when he first met her. A simple 5'4, fair skinned goddess who was very curvaceous, with long hair, honey colored, with soft orange eyes. Finally with a bust that will make even Glynda Goodwitch jealous. She was wearing a beautiful pink dress that showed off her bust. She had an oddly motherly atmosphere about her. One that truly cared, and one who loved to tease.
"Oh Hestia, we just couldn't resist meet a boy that has caught your eye, I am so sorry we just couldn't help ourselves, this is honestly getting too out of hand." The goddess said to her giving a teasing smile, but with a genuine apology, somewhat.
Bell pushed himself out and accidently landed in the goddess' bosom. She looked on with the slightest of shock, for a second, but started hugging Bell in her chest.
"Oh Hestia, he is just so adorable, you truly are lucky!" The goddess praised while hugging him. Hestia just blew up slightly, getting angry Jaune was just looking on with the biggest confused look he had in a while, what was he witnessing right now?
"Get..your….boobs off of him!" Hestia yelled and grabbed Bell off of the recent goddess that had showed up. Demeter looked on confused at the speed they had left, and just turned her head to the direction where they ran off to. Hestia was just dragging Bell by the collar. The goddesses just started chasing after them.
Jaune just stood there, in confusion, and chuckled at what just happened, and was about to leave, he didn't know what to do, maybe the Hostess of Fertility, treat himself to something. But was stopped when he felt a tug on his sleeve. The goddess who apologized to Hestia was still there with a gentle smile on her face.
"So who are you my dear? I do apologize for how those goddesses pushed you away like." The goddess said to Jaune. "By the way my name is Demeter, I am the goddess of agriculture and the harvest, a lot of produce, in Orario comes from my famila." Demeter introduced to Jaune. Jaune just smiled at her, he could tell that she wasn't so bad, checking on him. The gods were normally selfish, but she was willing to talk to him, so that is a plus.
"It's ok, I'm Jaune Arc, I am part of Hestia's Familia, and Bell, the guy you were just hugging, is technically my captain, due to him being the first member of the familia." Jaune introduced himself. Demeter just looked into his eyes analyzing him. She just smiled kindly at him.
"My, my while your captain was adorable, you are quite handsome yourself, tall and strong. So you are the one who made that speech sometime ago. It lit a fire under my familia to do better with themselves and me, so it is a true pleasure to meet you Jaune." Demeter said to him in genuine praise and thanks.
Jaune just rubbed the back of his, being sheepish. She giggled at him, handsome that he maybe, he was cute now that she was looking at him. It's a shame that he is in Hestia's familia, she would love to have him around, and they could get closer. Despite how she acts around others, she rarely lets anyone even touch her sexually, almost unheard of.
"I was heading out, would you like to get something small to eat to go?" Jaune asked her. Demeter gave a small teasing smile.
"Oh my are you asking me on a date, how bold, we just met." Demeter said to him. Jaune just smiled a little and blushed. She just giggled at his look.
"Don't worry I don't mind, just some fruit, I don't want to spoil my appetite for dinner later on." Demeter said to him. She looped his arm with hers, pressing her bust in between his arm. It was so comfy, and felt amazing to be between them.
They walked and talked about some things. How Jaune and Bell killed the Jack Bird, and Demeter talked to him about what her familia does in the city. They went by a stall selling her familia's merchandise. Jaune tried a green apple. It had an amazing crunch, and so good tart he loved it. He complimented her of her harvest, and she just smiled at him with a hand on her cheek, and blushed a little. She loved compliments like this.
They may be repetitive at times, but hearing it from someone like him made her happy. He was cute, and she loved talking to him. The sun had already set, and they seen that the goddesses gave up chasing Bell and Hestia. It was night time, and the stars were shining bright.
"Wow, it's always so amazing seeing the stars like this, such a beautiful night." Jaune said out loud. Demeter just sighed and smiled too, the night enhanced her beauty. She truly did love these kind of nights herself. Watching the stars, the clear sky, was truly a blessing to witness.
"I agree this has been an amazing day, thank you so much for accompanying me Jaune. I am truly sorry about what happened earlier when it came to Hestia." Demeter apologized, looking on with her normal soft eyes. Jaune just waved it off.
"It's ok you admitted your mistake and you seem like a good person, and that is truly amazing, thank you for spending time with me Lady Demeter." Jaune said with a kind smile. Jaune did enjoy talking with Demeter, and he can hopefully tell she felt the same way.
Demeter smiled at him almost lovingly, and kissed him on the cheek. Causing Jaune to freeze for a moment. She just giggled at his expression and shock.
"Hehe, your welcome Jaune, and thank you for tonight, please stay strong Jaune and look out for Hestia. In the past she used to be a freeloader. But having a familia has really changed her for the better. She is very willing to help, and I have heard of her working hard, and how passionate she was for Bell. She loves him with all her heart, and that is keeping her strong." Demeter said to Jaune. But she wasn't done there.
"And, I know she has a deep love for you too. But, sadly not like the she has for Bell. But she loves you too, don't ever forget that." Demeter placed a hand on his cheek, soothing Jaune. She can tell he is a wounded soul, and she just wanted to take all of that away. But she doesn't have her full power but alas, she can support him for the most part by rooting for him, and if she sees him, maybe give him a discount!
Jaune looked to the side smiling slightly, and rubbing the back of his head. But then Demeter gained mischievous smile and look in her eyes.
"You know, Hestia could probably fall in love with you two, and have both of you, you know?" Demeter teased. Jaune just looked at her wide eyes. Before Demeter could say anything, she giggled stopping him.
"Well, most gods, and goddesses sometimes like to have multiple partners, adventurers can too, but it's only their choice, and of course if everyone agrees to it." Demeter said to him truthfully. Jaune was just shocked at that.
Back in Remnant, Hunters could have multiple partners, but Jaune didn't learn that until going to Haven. People can have multiple partners but that is extremely rare. For Hunters, it was more on the uncommon side, but it existed. Of course since he's a young man, he thought of having that. But could he really handle that, he likes to think he can. Living with seven sisters is like a fourth of an experience of that. He says a fourth due to not having romantic feelings, just handling a lot of women, can really prepare you.
If he had that here, then who would agree. Rose was one, but he is not jumping in it, until a little later, if she so chooses. He needs to know Tiona more, but he feels that he could get along with her well, similar to Ruby.
Gods he misses Ruby, she was cute when he first met her, and she was growing into more of beautiful than cute while traveling with her, ugh, he needs to get that under control first, before jumping into a relationship. Projecting is very bad for a relationship, it can really ruin it.
"I-i-if you really think so, w-we can see?" Jaune stammered when it came to the multiple partners. Demeter just giggled slightly.
"Ufufu, well I should be heading back, dinner will be happening soon."
Demeter said about to walk away.
"Oh right, let me walk you home, or at least until we get close." Jaune said to her.
"Thank you so much, my familia is a little farther than this area, so part ways will do." Demeter said to him. He just nodded, and they started walking. After almost a few minutes of walking, Jaune stopped and looked down an alley seeing three bigger guys what looks like picking on a kid. She seemed to have a hood on her head, since it's so dark he couldn't figure out the color, and the shirt she was wearing had no sleeves and showed off her midriff. Was she a little girl or a Pallum Jaune had seen before, it was hard to tell.
"Jaune?" Demeter asked, wondering why he stopped, but then she looked to wear he was staring, and got a frown on her face. It seemed like some adventurers were picking on someone. She can sense the blessing on them.
Jaune looked at her with a determined look, and she nodded to him to go on. Jaune got closer to the area without letting them see him. Demeter stayed at the end of the alley so that she could at least still hear them, and not sense her divine presence.
Jaune simply listened in at first. He was behind them, so if he had to do something he can get the jump on them. The girl gasped a little, they were cornering her.
"Is that for me huh?!" The man with what seemed like racoon ears said to her, snatching her bag of money.
"Oh wow, this is a huge haul, it's a lot more than usual, like a lot more, honestly good job." The man said in a somewhat surprise, but very smug tone. Jaune didn't like this.
"You did really well for yourself, but this is still not quite enough, is it?" The man and his two lackeys laughed at her, with her looking a little fearful, on her knees looking on in a little bit of fear. Jaune wanted to jump in but not yet, he wants to hear what they will fully say, and with a goddess nearby to hear them, it was a no brainer. He seen the main guy walk up to her overshadowing her, Jaune gently wrapped his hand around the handle of his sword, he will have to jump in soon.
"Hehe, you are lucky, a twerp like you wouldn't even have a chance to join the Soma Familia." He put his boot on her face Jaune then started to stand now, he got the names of the familia down, he can report it to the guild, and maybe the Ganesha Familia. It seems they are the ones who handles criminals in the city. "It's thanks to us adventurers that we even let you in! So let me hear you say it, huh?!" The guy said digging his boot into her face now. The girl spoke softly.
"It's thanks to the adventurers." Jaune heard her. She sounded so defeated, and that pissed him off to no end. Demeter heart bled for her, and she could see and feel Jaune getting angry. He was a hero in the making, she didn't believe heroes were still coming around this day and age, but she believes that he can go far. Him and his captain.
The man just huffed in sick satisfaction.
"Damn right you little lady, and don't you forget that, and keep bringing in the cash, you little slut!" He kicked her down the stairs. They all started laughing and about to walk away.
"HEY!" A voice yelled out from behind them. They see a blonde young man, with evident fury on his face, and they swear his eyes were glowing blue due to his anger.
"I will give you 3 seconds to give her back the valis you took from her, or I will make it so you will not be able to chew your food ever again." Jaune spoke in cold fury. The men didn't know why, but this kid was dangerous to them, but they didn't care it's 3 on 1, and he seems like a rookie. They just laughed at him.
"Hahahaha, you want us to return this to that little shit?! She is not worth the piss that comes out of me. Say how about we work together, she can bring in good money, let's split it shall we?" The leader said with a smug on his face. Jaune looked like he started glowing, he was getting angrier.
He moved with a slight blur that the three didn't even see!
Jaune through a hard punch connecting with the guy's mouth, and punched him into the ground, the ground cracked at the sheer force of his blow!
The man was holding his mouth dropping the bag of valis, Jaune picked a tooth out of his glove, he warned the guy, that he will make sure he can't chew his food after all.
The other two drew their weapons now. Jaune unsheathed his sword catching the guy on his right, he had an axe, and he could feel that these guys were strong, but not nearly as strong as those level 2s during the Jack Bird incident. That and he was much stronger now.
Jaune simply blocked that, and the other guy tried swinging his sword on the left, but Jaune was able to see him move almost slowly. He transferred aura into his arm and boosted it, his arm started to glow, and the man made contact, and it was deflected back. The guy's sword simply seemed to crack, and chip. This surprised them whole heartedly.
Jaune took advantage of their shared reaction, and used his own sword to swing the axe away from him. Jaune then kicked the guy's leg out by hitting his knee, and when he went down, Jaune kneed him in the nose. He heard a crunch defiantly broken.
Jaune then turned to his left and elbow strike him in the side of his throat knocking him out, the man was busy still writhing on the ground, and Jaune went over and grabbed the bag of valis.
He could feel that it was a lot, and they tried to take her hard earned money, they bullied her for it, that didn't sit well for him.
Lili heard the commotion and sat up, not believing what she had seen. A random adventurer standing up for her, and beating down the main people who harass her. She hasn't seen him since the his speech at the guild. He was standing up for her. She only believed that they were just words. While it did lit a fire under her to work harder, she didn't expect him to keep his promise. After all adventurers were all the same.
Greedy…..cruel…..selfish…..evil…..but then she met Bell. He was so kind to her feeding her food, treating her like a person and an equal. But to see potentially two of them, it was crazy, and she looked on to see this rookie like this able to take on these strong level 1s almost easily. It was a sight to see.
When she seen him pick up the bag of valis she was thinking that he only helped her valis. But then the leader known as Canoe, sat up pulling out a dagger.
"Look out behind you!/ Jaune behind you!" Both Lili and Demeter yelled out in fear. Jaune simply didn't turn around right away. But he just spun around hitting him in the cheek and jaw with a back fist swing.
Another tooth came out, and Canoe was knocked out. Jaune looked down at Lili and made his way down the stairs. Lili was just looking in shock still.
Jaune knelt down to pick her up.
"Are you ok?" Jaune asked in concerned. She was surprised to see him so gentle and worried for her. She just nodded numbly at this still eyes widened, but took his hand helping her up.
"Here you go, manage to get it off of them." Jaune gave her, her bag back. It still had all the valis in it!
"They were jerks, taking advantage of a little girl like that, scumbags the lot of them." Jaune stood up fully now looking at the fallen adventurers, still knocked out. Jaune then looked at her widened eyes again, and seen that she had a print on her face, a small bruise building up somewhat, so Jaune put his hand on her hooded head.
Lili flinched and jumped back slightly, when Jaune suddenly put his hand on her head. Before she was about to fight back and smack his arm away. She had seen his arm glowing, and she felt….warmth. The first time in a long time to feel truly happy, and protected. She felt all the physical pain go away, and she felt like she was covered in a warm blanket in the winter, she truly loved it. Was this magic? She didn't even here a chant. But not only that she felt stronger, faster, and more durable! What in the world was going on?! Jaune then let her go. She didn't want him to go.
"There that should do it. Come on I'll walk you to your home." Jaune said to her. Taking her hand, she just blushed at that but was just following aimlessly. The three were starting to wake up so they left the alleyway quick. They hid behind some boxes seeing the three men cursing, and running out the area. Swearing death threats on Jaune. Demeter was just standing across the way of the alley acting like she was walking by to not add any suspicion.
When they all ran away, Jaune breathed a sigh of relief, about to turn to Lili again. But he felt arms wrap around his head, and put into a big bust that smelled amazing. And felt so soft on his face, almost molding himself into it.
"Jaune are you ok, I seen you take a sword to the arm, and I didn't know if you were injured!" Demeter questioned in worry. Lili looked on at the goddess with the big bust, she must have been his goddess, but, she felt jealous. Sure for pallum standards she is huge for her age. But to see those big things made her a little insecure.
Jaune freed himself, and just hugged her naturally, one which Demeter instantly returned.
"Don't worry I'm fine, seriously, I am much stronger than I look. But I am more worried about her." Demeter looked behind Jaune to see the young girl. She immediately went to her and hugged her, putting her between her breasts, almost squeezing her.
"Oh you poor dear, are you ok, your not too hurt are you?" Demeter asked like a concerned mother. Lili just melted into the hug and started to cry a little. She hasn't felt this kind of love in a long time, she couldn't help herself. Demeter put the girl's hood down, revealing her hair. She didn't have her spell on, but she didn't care right now. She was crying her eyes out now, and Demeter was rubbing her head soothingly.
"It's ok, just let it all out." Demeter said gently. Jaune looked on in sadness, and walked over. He wanted to group hug her. So he hugged them both showering them in love. Lili felt so happy in this situation right now.
"What's going on here?!" A commanding female asked them. Jaune looked behind him to see another adventurer. She seemed fairly tall with piercing blue eyes, short blue hair, and an almost ornate style clothing, but used for combat. She was a commanding woman. Like Weiss' sister Winter Schnee. If this woman in front him right now was anything like her, she is strict, to business, but deeply caring behind that cold exterior, a strong willed woman. Jaune wished he would have known Weiss' sister better, he probably could have learned something from her, and the two looked exactly alike, just one is bigger, height, strength, everything.
But he needed to focus on right here right now. The woman crossed her arms over her chest.
"Well?" The woman demanded. Jaune turned fully to her with Demeter still holding Lili.
"Yes, I was busy walking Lady Demeter home, when I seen three grown men essentially robbing this little girl here." Jaune said addressing Lili.
"She is a pallum Jaune, she is probably older than she looks." Demeter said still soothing the girl. Jaune looked back and he nodded his head with that information. So she wasn't some little girl, it was a young lady being picked on, it still sickened him to his core.
The woman looked in his eyes, almost a stare down trying to find any deception. But Demeter spoke up for him.
"I can confirm this Shakti Varma, I witnessed the whole thing." Demeter said to her. Jaune looked back when she said the woman's name. Ok he's got a name now.
"She is right Ms. Shakti, I charged in beat them down and gave her valis back to her." Jaune said to her. She widened her eyes. She can see somewhat that he is a newbie. When you get to a higher level you can somewhat gauge out if someone is a rookie, since she has seen it all at this point, she can tell he is a new adventurer, to fight off other adventurers is an amazing feat for a rookie.
"Ok Lady Demeter, confirmed it, and you saved the girl, do you know what familia the adventurers were with, we will need to keep an eye out for them." Shakti asked him.
"Yes they said they were part of the Soma Familia, saying that she should be grateful that they let her in, it really pissed me off. I couldn't just stand there and do nothing, she needed help and I acted." Jaune said to her. Shakti's eyes widened at that, but she needed to hear more.
"Why would you help you're an adventurer, it wasn't any of your business?" Shakti asked him, wanting to hear his reason. Jaune just stood there steeling himself.
"It doesn't matter if I'm an adventurer or not. Someone needed help, and I have the ability to do something, and I acted." Jaune said. Lili's eyes widened. She then turned around.
"But why, why would you help me? I am just a supporter, and adventurers are evil. Are you looking for a favor after. Looking to use my body?!" Lili asked yelling out. Demeter holding her. Jaune walked over, and knelt down, looking directly in her eyes, and smiled kindly at her.
"You needed help, and I was able to help and that is it." Jaune said to her. Lili was still trying to be negative and deny his kind reasons. "My mom always said strangers are just friends you haven't met yet, and your my friend at least I hope so." Jaune said to her smiling.
"I don't need an excuse to help someone, I do it because it's the right thing to do, evil men continue on to thrive, if good men do nothing." Jaune said to her. Shakti's eyes widened hearing his reasons. It sounded like her sister, and that amazed yet scared her.
"But I didn't introduce myself, my name is Jaune Arc, it's great to meet you." Jaune held out his hand. Lili looked on with shock and tears coming down her face. The man who said a heroic speech, she finally got his name. She shook it and quickly enveloped him with a surprise hug.
"I am Liliruca Arde, it's great to meet you….Jaune." Lili said hugging him, with Jaune returning the hug.
Demeter tearer up slightly seeing a new friendship being born. Shakti looked in happiness, glad to see that someone holds up the values of justice, and kindness her sister had. But then he eyes had widened.
"Wait, so you are the young man who lit a fire under many of adventurers, especially in my familia. A lot had written down what you said, it was inspiring to everyone, me included Jaune Arc, so thank you." Shakti smiled kindly at him. Jaune stood up smiling at her. He just nodded at that with a dorky smile afterward.
The girls giggled at his smile, it was adorable to them. Shakti then went to business, gaining a serious look.
"But, thank you for telling me about this Mr. Arc, the Soma familia has been very….aggressive, but no one says anything about it. The biggest incident currently to our knowledge was in the guild hall, attacking other adventures. One with white hair and red eyes if I recall." Shakti said. Lili's eyes widened at that. She heard of that too, the three were arrested. After being subdued. It was master Bell she was talking about. She looked down in curiosity.
'Master Bell is so much stronger than a regular level 1, and so is Jaune. Did they do that?' Lili thought to herself. Jaune didn't want to dig himself a bigger hole just in case, so he kept quiet. He just nodded at this.
"So regardless thank you for doing such a good thing Mr. Arc, and please have a good night and be safe, all of you." Shakti said, leaving, she had to write down a report about this. The Soma Familia will have to get inspected soon.
Jaune turned around to Demeter.
"I am so sorry for dragging you in this Lady Demeter, like I said I couldn't stand by and do nothing." Jaune apologized to her. Demeter just smiled at him.
"It's ok Jaune, I am glad that you did something, it was really refreshing seeing, such a ravishing young man, being kind and courageous." Demeter said having hand on her cheek smiling at him. Jaune just blushed a little with Lili just standing there looking at them.
But felt alitte annoyed with how Demeter is flirting with Jaune.
"I am glad that you were ok with this let's walk you home, ok?" Jaune said to Demeter, wanting to continue the walk, they were almost there. But she waved it off.
"No it is ok Jaune, just make sure this little lady is safe and sound, I can walk from here." Demeter waved him off, with a look and movement that said just screamed don't argue with me.
She went to kiss Jaune lightly on his lips. Much to his and Lili's surprise.
"Take care now Jaune, and Lili. They looked at her with utter shock, seeing a goddess shaking her butt slightly while walking away. Ok this is getting crazy. He just looked at Lili with evenly widened eyes. She returned it.
"Soooo…want me to walk you home, just in case." Lili composed herself slightly, and she nodded a little happily for the first time in a long time.
A/N: This is a late Christmas gift I truly do hope you all love it. Next chapter will enter when Lili officially joins Bell's and Jaune's group , and magic will ensue too. I am so sorry for it being all over the place I wanted to make it long. And Lili has become friends with Jaune. She will meet him again with Bell of course, and the whole jumping with killer ants is coming up, but with…..something else.
