Ichigo let out a moan as his consciousness gradually returned.
When he fully regained it, he gradually opened his eyes, adjusting to the sunlight that illuminated them.
It was then that he felt some weight on him and looked down to see Orihime in his arms and moaning a little as she was waking up.
Now that he thought about it, he remembered that, just as the senkaimon's light increased to blinding levels, Ichigo reacted immediately and without thinking, he ran to Orihime, whom he hugged tightly against his chest with the intention of protecting her.
Orihime raised her head and shook it a little before opening her eyes.
"I… Ichigo?" asked Orihime recognizing the substitute shinigami.
"Are you okay, Orihime?" asked Ichigo.
"Yes, I'm fine, I…" began Orihime before realizing the position they were in.
In the next instant, the young adult's face turned tomato red and she quickly stood up away from the substitute shinigami.
"I-I-I'm so sorry! I-I-I didn't mean to! I…!" began Orihime very nervous about the situation she was in with her crush.
"Calm down." began Ichigo, calming the young adult, as he stood up. "I did it to protect you and I'm glad to know that you're okay." said Ichigo with a smile.
"Th-Thank you." said Orihime with a slight blush and a smile.
"Hey, I'm fine too. Thanks for asking." said Uryu.
"Are we all here?" asked Chad.
"Looks like it." said Renji.
"Thank goodness. For a moment I thought that…" began Ichigo.
"IDIOT!" shouted Rukia giving Ichigo a hard punch on the cheek.
"AH!" shouted Ichigo as he fell to the ground from the blow just before quickly getting up. "What the hell is wrong with you?! What the hell was that for?!"
"Serves you right for your immense stupidity and more! How could you even think of hitting a senkaimon directly?" asked Rukia.
"Hey, my intention was to stop them from escaping. How was I supposed to know that would happen?" asked Ichigo.
"Well you should have given it some thought and now, because of your impulsive act, we're all here." said Renji.
"By the way, where is here?" asked Orihime.
At that question, they all looked around to try to get their bearings, discovering in the process that they were in a forest.
"I'm not sure, but it's clear that we are no longer in our world or in the Soul Society." said Uryu.
"You're right, I don't sense any reiatsu anywhere, but I do sense something in the atmosphere. Something similar." said Chad.
"Where exactly did we end up?" asked Renji.
"I don't think that matters now. Can you open a senkaimon from here?" asked Ichigo to the shinigami.
"I'll check." said Rukia before drawing her sword and trying to stab something, only to hit nothingness and air, much to their confusion.
For a while, both Rukia and Renji were stabbing their sword into the air as if they were trying to hit something in particular, but there was nothing at all.
"It's useless. It looks like we're somewhere far enough away from the Soul Society that we can't clear a path there." said Renji.
"Great. Now what are we supposed to do now?" asked Ichigo.
"The first thing would be to investigate about our location. In fact, I can feel that energy from around us building up in great mass in that direction." began Rukia pointing in one direction. "Surely this is a settlement of some sort."
"Like a village or a city?" asked Orihime.
"It could be, but you'd have to go that way to find out." said Uryu.
"Oh, I'm sorry, but you're not going anywhere."
The group of six stopped at once at the sound of an unfamiliar voice.
Soon after, out of the foliage came a man with brown skin, short blond hair, and a cloak.
The group became a little nervous, for they could sense an enormous power coming from that person.
"Who are you?" asked Ichigo.
"That's for me to ask, since you suddenly appeared through an explosion of light. Not only that, but I sense an energy I don't recognize coming from all of you, especially you." began the man pointing at Ichigo. "Who you seem to possess more quantity than all of them. So I'll ask it just once. Why did you come?" asked the man releasing a bit of his power, causing the pressure of the atmosphere to increase.
That caused the group to be completely horrified as they felt the huge increase in power.
"That guy has that much power?" asked Chad in shock.
"I-I feel like I might faint." said Orihime.
"His level is on par with a captain. No. I would dare say even more." said Renji.
Ichigo was really surprised to feel such a size power in one person, something he hadn't felt since his final encounter with Aizen.
Despite everything he faced in his life, he was a bit terrified by the power of that person and so, he sensed that, if they didn't do something soon, that guy would kill them all and that was something he couldn't allow, so he grabbed his sword with his hand with the intention of pulling it out.
"Ichigo, don't do it." said Rukia trying to stop her friend.
"What's going on?"
That's when, before Ichigo could get to do anything, the man stopped emitting pressure, much to everyone's relief.
"Ah, my friend. I've gone to investigate the explosion of light as you asked and discovered a group of strange people, so I decided to scare them a bit to get answers." thought the man speaking to someone telepathically.
"Isn't that a bit over the top? *sigh* Never mind, how do they look?"
"Well two of them look very casual, one is wearing clothes that look like they've been given a good wash and three of them are sporting black kimonos with katanas." thought the man.
"Black kimonos with katanas? Mmm. Ask one of them his name."
"You." began the man pointing at Ichigo, who was a bit taken aback by that. "What's your name?"
Ichigo was confused by the fact that they were asking that only to him, but, waiting for that to calm the situation down, he decided to answer.
"Ichigo. Ichigo Kurosaki." said Ichigo introducing himself.
"Pff. Ichigo? Like strawberry?" thought the man laughing at the meaning of the name.
"It doesn't have to be like that. Considering the 'ichi' and 'go', it can mean 'the one who protects'. Well, ask them this question and depending on what they answer…"
Before the group was nervous because of the power that man was showing, but now they were confused because they saw that the man had been silent for a while except for that question to Ichigo.
They all wondered what the man was really thinking and if he was thinking of attacking them or not.
And in the end…
"Just one more thing…" began the man, making everyone a little nervous. "Where did you come from?"
The group didn't know what exactly to answer, as they didn't know if he was going to believe them or not.
However, if they wanted to avoid any unnecessary confrontation, they had to answer with the unvarnished truth.
"We come from a place called Soul Society. We were with some business when an incident brought us here by mistake" said Rukia hoping that would satisfy him.
"They say they come from a Soul Society." thought the man speaking telepathically.
"Mmm. This is getting weirder and weirder and more interesting. Okay, buddy, here's what you're going to do."
"Well, well, well. Looks like you are in luck." said the man with a smile, much to the confusion of the group.
"What do you mean?" asked Uryu.
"You have caught my friend's attention and he wants to meet you." said the man.
"Your friend?" asked Chad.
"The lord of these lands. The Demon Lord, Rimuru Tempest." said the man.
Immediately, everyone's eyes widened as they heard that.
"Well, let's not waste any time, follow me." began the man turning around to get going, but stopped after taking a couple of steps. "Oh, I almost forgot." said the man before turning his head back to them. "You asked my name earlier, didn't you? I'm Veldora Tempest, the Storm Dragon." said the man introducing himself before continuing to walk.
The group stood in place, surprised, not only at the title of the ruler of the place, but also at who this man really was.
"Did he say… dragon?" asked Renji.
"I guess that would explain the enormous power he emitted earlier. And I have a feeling that wasn't all he had." said Chad.
"And he said his friend is a Demon Lord? Like the Demon Lord from the fantasy stories where he tries to conquer or destroy the world with an army of monsters?" asked Orihime.
"If that were true, we would have already noticed a less calm and normal environment than this one, don't you think?" asked Uryu.
"Still, we can't rule out that we might be in enemy territory." said Rukia.
"Are you suggesting we leave?" asked Ichigo.
"Are you out of your mind? I highly doubt that that… dragon would let us leave after saying that his friend, a Demon Lord, wants to meet us in person." said Renji.
"He's right. The best thing to do would be to listen to him and go meet that friend of his. Maybe, that way, we can get some information about where we are." said Uryu.
"What if they don't want to tell us anything and want to kill us or worse?" asked Ichigo.
"Hey, you."
They all turned their gaze to the front to see Veldora scowling at them.
"Don't just stand there. Rimuru has a lot of things to do, so let's get going." said Veldora before walking off.
"We'll cross that bridge when we get there." said Rukia.
The others nodded to her before the six of them followed the humanoid dragon.
For a while, they were walking through the forest and the moment they came out of there, the group of six was shocked to see something they didn't expect at all, for in front of them, there was a quiet and normal city.
Not only that, but as they walked through the streets, they saw that its inhabitants were not humans, but monsters, from goblins to orcs, and they all seemed happy with their lives and didn't look at them as if they were strangers, even some monster children ran among them as they played.
To them, it was like a similar version of Karakura City, the Seireitei and the Rukongai, but that also left them very confused, as they couldn't understand it.
All they knew about demons, at least based on reality, was that they were cruel and heartless beings who lived only in hell and one Demon Lord, according to the various stories, was the cruelest of all with intent to bring chaos and destruction.
However, looking at the city and the people around them, this Rimuru Tempest didn't seem to be a cruel being who caused suffering, but someone who brought joy.
Was it an illusion? Was that joy only present in the city ruled by the Demon Lord while in the rest of the places things were the opposite?
Several such questions roamed through their minds, but the most common one was…
Where were they really?
They hoped that Rimuru could answer those questions without ending up in the dungeons, condemned or executed, but seeing the state of the city and its people made them think that, maybe, if Rimuru really turned out to be someone good and respectable, he could help them with their problem.
They continued walking through the streets until Veldora led them to a large building.
Seeing that this was their destination, they were a bit confused, as they thought that, given the fact that they were going to meet a Demon Lord, they would be going to a spooky castle, not a normal city hall.
Shortly after they entered, they saw a woman arrive in a purple formal suit, long hair tied into a ponytail, and large breasts, but most striking was the horn lodged in her forehead.
"Ah, Lord Veldora. I see you have arrived with the guests. Lord Rimuru has filled me in and is waiting for you in his office." said the woman.
"Thank you, Shion." said Veldora as he and the others walked past the woman to continue on their way.
The group of six couldn't help but stare at the woman for a moment before losing sight of her and it was NOT because of her beauty and endowments, but because of the power she had that, in Rukia and Renji's opinion, was on par with a vice-captain or close to a captain.
They were walking the halls of the city hall until they came to some double doors, which Veldora opened without knocking or anything.
"Hey, buddy, here I am and I brought those strangers like you asked." said Veldora.
As they entered the room, the group turned their gaze to the ruler of the city and their eyes widened in surprise.
When they heard it was a demon king, they expected a terrifying being, someone like Byakuya or even someone like Genryusai.
What they were looking at, however, sitting on the other side of a desk, was a young boy with silver-blue hair, golden eyes and black clothes.
"Thank you, Veldora. If you don't mind, I'd like to talk to them alone. You can go and don't worry. I've left the next volumes of the manga for you in the living room." said Rimuru with a smile.
"Great. I'll see you then." said Veldora before leaving the room.
After the humanoid dragon left, an awkward silence filled the entire room, as no one in the group knew what to say and were just staring in surprise at the demon king.
"What's wrong? Do I have monkeys on my face?" asked Rimuru with a smile, as he could sense why they were like that.
That was enough to snap them out of their state and realize how disrespectful they were.
Rukia and Renji were the first to act by bowing down on one knee with their heads down.
"S-Sorry for our lack of courtesy, sir." said Rukia nervously.
"We were just rather surprised. Excuse us." said Renji nervously.
Both they and the others hoped they hadn't upset him or something.
"Oh, no need to apologize and no need to be so formal either. Please stand up." said Rimuru with a smile.
Needless to say, that surprised both shinigami who rose from their position, as they did not expect him to speak to them in such a friendly manner.
"You need not feel nervous. Just because I am a Demon Lord, doesn't mean I am evil." said Rimuru.
"Yeah, not to offend or anything, but you don't look anything like what we imagined." said Ichigo.
Suddenly, Rukia kicked him in the shin that made him scream in pain.
"Do me a favor and don't be disrespectful!" said Rukia scolding the substitute shinigami.
"Hehe. I understand, but the 'Demon Lord' thing is nothing more than a title I hold." said Rimuru, surprising the group.
"A title?" asked Chad.
"Yes, only the strongest in the world hold a title like that." said Rimuru.
"And how many are there that hold it?" asked Uryu curiously.
"Only eight and none of them are true demons." said Rimuru.
Hearing that, the group was shocked to learn that only a few could become strong enough to hold that title and if they were only that many, then they must be more powerful than they can imagine.
The most surprised were Rukia and Renji, since, if only eight people held that title, being a Demon Lord was like a certain division that was considered the most powerful, to which only the most select could be a part of.
"So, if you're not a demon, what exactly are you? Because we can all tell you're not human." said Ichigo.
"You're right about that." began Rimuru before he began to melt and before anyone could express their horror at it, he turned into a sort of gelatinous blob. "Allow me to introduce myself. I am Rimuru Tempest, lord of this city, Demon Lord and a slime."
The whole group's mouths and eyes widened at what they were seeing.
To see that the leader of a city and bearer of the title 'Demon Lord' was a child, at least in appearance, was one thing, but it was another entirely different and unimaginable thing for it to be a simple little slime.
"That… That's your true form?" asked Renji in shock.
"Aw, it's adorable." commented Orihime helplessly.
Soon after, Rimuru returned to his human form.
"Yes, it was my true form, but I almost always take this one to talk more calmly with others." said Rimuru.
"You're definitely not what we imagined." said Ichigo.
"I understand. Now, focusing on the important thing. would you mind telling me what that energy I feel in you is?" asked Rimuru.
The group's eyes widened as they remembered their situation and why they were there.
Now that they knew that the being in front of them wasn't what they had first imagined, they felt more at ease and saw no problem in telling him everything.
"You see, Lord Rimuru, we, unlike you or anyone here, possess reiryoku or spiritual energy." Renji said.
"Spiritual energy? Now that I notice, their energy is similar to that of spirits." thought Rimuru remembering when he took his students to make a contract with spirits to save them.
"Analysis. Despite being similar, they are different in power and origin." said Raphael, the artificial intelligence-like ability that always helps the human slime with its wisdom and advice.
"In our world, only a select few have the amount of reiryoku enough to be able to use it." said Uryu.
"And the level of power depends on the amount of reiryoku one possesses." said Chad.
"Hmm. Interesting. Doesn't sound that different from magic." said Rimuru.
"Magic? Is that what you have here?" asked Orihime.
"That's right. Tell me, in what way do you use that reiryoku? And by the way, you know my name, but I don't know yours." said Rimuru.
"Oh, yes. I'm Orihime Inoue a-and my hairpins are a special item. They house fairies that help me form defensive barriers, perform attacks and heal people." said Orihime explaining her powers.
"Impressive. To what extent can you heal others?" asked Rimuru.
"To the point where I could restore lost limbs and resurrect someone as long as it hasn't been too long and some of their body remains." said Orihime.
Rimuru couldn't help but go wide-eyed with shock.
It was one thing to heal wounds and lost limbs as he could do with his magic and healing potions, but it was a different thing to resurrect the dead.
Had she been around when the Falmuth Empire attacked the city and killed several civilians, including Shion, he would have requested, even begged, that she use her power to resurrect them all.
However, had she done that, he wouldn't have gone on to become a Demon Lord and would never regret that decision.
"I see. You truly have a powerful ability. I hope you use it properly." said Rimuru.
"O-Of course, Lord Rimuru." said Orihime nodding her head.
"I'm Yasutora Sado, but everyone calls me Chad. Unlike Orihime, I'm not quite human, but a fullbringer." said Chad.
"A fullbringer?" asked Rimuru with an arched eyebrow.
"They are people who can manipulate the soul of objects. For example, I can manipulate the soul of a drink to make it come floating towards me or turn a sword into a pendant. In my case, I can modify my arms to make them tougher and more powerful." said Chad.
"Raphael, is that possible that objects have souls?" asked Rimuru.
"Analysis. Aside from magic objects, there is no such thing as souls in everything else." said Raphael.
"Surely it must be a thing where they come from." thought Rimuru.
"Uryu Ishida" began Uryu introducing himself. "I am what is known as a quincy."
"Quincy? I think that was German." thought Rimuru.
"We quincy use reiryoku for skills based on long distance attacks." said Uryu.
"So the quincy are like snipers or archers." thought Rimuru before looking at the ones wearing the black kimono. "And what are you? Since you have the same outfit, I take it for granted that you belong to the same group."
"That's right, Lord Rimuru. We are shinigami." said Rukia.
"Wait, shinigami? You mean the spirits that guide humans to death?" asked Rimuru surprised by the revelation.
"That's just general knowledge. Actually, shinigamis are spirit beings coming from the Soul Society." said Ichigo.
"Soul Society? I think Veldora told me that you came from that place before you came here." said Rimuru.
"Wait, when did he tell you?" asked Renji confused.
"Oh, you see, I happen to have many abilities. One of them allows me to communicate telepathically with those close to me. When I felt the pressure caused by his power, I chatted with him and thus learned about you." said Rimuru.
"That would explain how you wanted to see us when you didn't know us until now." said Uryu.
"Anyway, what really is the Soul Society?" asked Rimuru curiously.
"Basically, it's the place where people's souls go after they pass away. The shinigamis are part of an organization whose job is to help wandering souls reach that place and maintain the balance between life and death." said Renji.
"Not only that, but we also protect humans in the world of the living from the hollows." said Rukia.
"Hollows?" asked Rimuru.
"They are souls that have allowed themselves to be consumed by their negative emotions, which turns them into beasts with a literal hole that they try to fill by feeding on the souls of the living and the dead. The shinigami are in charge of purifying them so they can go to the Soul Society." explained Ichigo.
Rimuru was really impressed to learn that the work of the shinigami was much greater than he imagined.
It was one thing to guide the souls to the other side of life and a different thing to fight those monsters.
Without them, those hollows would endlessly devour people's souls and that would end up causing a disaster of astronomical proportions that would affect all of creation.
He didn't know if this world of the living that Rukia spoke of was his before he was reincarnated, for when he was human, he had none of his current abilities, so he would have been unable to see the wandering spirits, the hollows, the shinigami or even sense their energy.
"It is truly impressive. You have a very noble mission and a great responsibility." said Rimuru.
"Thank you for your words, Lord Rimuru." said Rukia bowing in thanks.
"How does that shinigami organization work?" asked Rimuru.
"We shinigami work in three different groups. The special forces, the kido division and the 13 divisions." said Renji.
"What is this kido stuff?" asked Rimuru.
"It's spells and incantations that we shinigamis use by manipulating the reiryoku." replied Rukia.
"I mean, it's similar to magic in this world." thought Rimuru. "And what are the 13 divisions?"
"They are squads led by a captain and a vice-captain. Each with a specific function, but the goal is the same for all of them to keep the balance." said Ichigo.
"What divisions do you belong to?" asked Rimuru.
"I am the vice-captain of the 13th division, Rukia Kuchiki." said Rukia formally introducing herself.
"I am the vice-captain of the 6th division, Renji Abarai." said Renji formally introducing himself.
"I understand." began Rimuru surprised to have two of such high rank in front of him before turning his gaze to the substitute shinigami. "You must be Ichigo Kurosaki, right? What division are you in?"
Ichigo would have been surprised that he knew his name if he hadn't remembered telling it to Veldora, who was talking to him telepathically.
"To none. Let's just say I'm a special case of shinigami. Instead of being in the Soul Society, I stayed in my hometown, where I take care of hollows and spirits with the help of my friends." said Ichigo pointing to the others.
"I see." said Rimuru.
For some strange reason, he felt there was more history to his 'special case' thing, but decided not to pursue the subject further.
It was then that something crossed his mind, something that had him curious from the moment he learned of the shinigami story.
"One question. What happens to the souls when they get to the Soul Society? Do they stay there eternally or something?" asked Rimuru.
"Not quite. Both souls and those who are born into the Soul Society can live a long time, but they can die like normal humans. When that happens, they enter a state of reincarnation and are reborn as other people." explained Rukia.
"Ah, I understand. Then, I should have skipped that directly." said Rimuru with his arms crossed and his gaze upwards.
"What do you mean?" asked Chad.
"Well, that I was a human who was reincarnated." said Rimuru.
That made everyone's eyes widen from shock.
"WHAT?" asked the group at the same time.
"W-Were you a human?" asked Orihime.
"And you reincarnated here and so? How is that possible?" asked Renji.
"I don't really know either. All I know is that I used to live my life as a normal adult until I died and before I knew it, I was reborn in this world as a slime, but with some special abilities." said Rimuru.
"What kind of abilities?" asked Uryu curiously.
"One was Great Sage, who has evolved into Raphael. It's kind of like an entity that helps me solve problems, create spells and gives me all the knowledge I need. It's really helpful." said Rimuru.
"Analysis. And to much credit." said Raphael.
"The other was Predator, now evolved to Beelzebub, which allows me to acquire the abilities of anyone I devour, as well as devour anything thrown at me." said Rimuru.
The group was taken aback by that.
With an ability that is basically a second brain and another that allowed you to gain more abilities and devour attacks, it was clear that Rimuru was much more powerful than they could imagine.
Some even wondered what he would be like if he fought against some of the strongest division captains like Kenpachi, Byakuya, Shunsui or Genryusai.
"You know? With those skills, anyone would say you're cheating." commented Ichigo.
"Maybe so, but I didn't choose those skills. I got them just like that." said Rimuru.
"Unbelievable. I heard of many reincarnations, but I never imagined one like this" said Rukia in amazement.
"If I may, how is it possible that a slime reincarnated with such abilities became the leader of a city like this?" asked Uryu before adjusting his glasses. "You'd think he bent them over with his power to become their leader."
"Oh, it was nothing like that. You see, when I was reincarnated, I appeared in a cave not far from here. That's when I met Veldora." said Rimuru.
"You mean the guy who brought us here?" asked Chad.
"Yes, because of a fight he had many centuries ago, he was sealed in an unbreakable prison. Even though we were a dragon and a slime, we became friends, we even gave each other names." said Rimuru with a smile as he recalled the first friendship he forged in that world.
"What do you mean with names?" asked Orihime.
"It turns out that in this world, monsters are born without a name. Rimuru Tempest isn't my real name, but it's the one Veldora gave me because of my new birth and I in return gave him the last name Tempest." said Rimuru.
"That would explain why you both have the same last name. For a moment there I thought you were brothers." said Ichigo.
"Heh. I can understand that." said Rimuru.
"After that, what happened?" asked Rukia, being curious about the Demon Lord slime's story.
"While helping Veldora break his prison, I spent a lot of time exploring that cave, accumulating skills by devouring the monsters I encountered along the way and in the end, I got out of the cave. Soon after, I found a goblin tribe that was in trouble with other monsters and helped them solve it. Because of that, they named me their lord and I gave them each a name." said Rimuru.
"You gave names to all the goblins in the tribe?" asked Renji in surprise.
"That's right and because of that, they were able to evolve and become stronger." said Rimuru.
"What do you mean?" asked Chad.
"As I said before, monsters are born without a name. When a monster receives one, it not only becomes subordinate to the one who gave it to it, but it evolves by becoming stronger than before. And besides, I also become stronger the more monsters I name." said Rimuru.
"You become someone's subordinate just by being given a name? That's a little cruel." said Orihime.
"A little, but I don't do it unless they are the ones who want to and they can always leave whenever they want to." said Rimuru.
"We've seen more monsters besides goblins. Did you name them too?" asked Uryu.
"Yes. After what happened in that tribe, I kept gathering and naming more and more monsters of various species. In the end, after several events, I ended up founding an entire nation known as the Jura Tempest Federation, being now in its capital, Rimuru City." said Rimuru.
The group was completely shocked to learn that someone who started from scratch would end up forming an entire nation and leading it.
Not only that, but if it was true what he said about getting stronger the more monsters he named and given the amount of inhabitants there were, none of them could imagine how much power this human-looking slime had.
Even Rukia and Renji began to think that he might be even more powerful than their captain-commander.
However, despite that, they also felt some admiration and respect for him, as he wasn't a tyrannical or selfish king, but someone who thought of the people of his nation.
"Well, now that you have explained enough. There is only one thing left to know. How did you end up here?" asked Rimuru.
"We don't know exactly. It all started when we were on a mission to take down some revolutionary shinigami. We tried to get them to surrender, but they refused and we ended up fighting them." said Renji.
"Soon after, they tried to escape through a senkaimon, a gate that connects the human world with the Soul Society, but then, this brainless idiot…" began Rukia pointing at Ichigo, who responded with an angry look at the insult. "He hit the senkaimon and that triggered an unknown effect that led us here."
"What happened to those revolutionaries? Do you know where they are?" asked Rimuru.
"We don't know, but given the fact that they were with us when the incident happened, it's possible that they ended up in the same world as us, albeit far away from where we appeared." said Uryu.
"In that case, I will ask my people to keep a close watch on the surroundings and pay attention to any suspicious activity." said Rimuru.
"No need to bother, Lord Rimuru. This is our business. We wouldn't want you to get involved." said Rukia.
"Maybe, but it wouldn't hurt to make sure. After all, I have to do what's best for my citizens." said Rimuru.
"While we're at it, there's another outstanding issue. It turns out that we have no way to get back and even if we have the matter of those guys, by the time we solve it, we'd still be stuck here." said Ichigo.
At that, Rimuru folded his arms as he started to think.
"Raphael, do you think you can create a portal spell to that Soul Society?" asked Rimuru.
"Analysis. Analyzing your reiryoku, I should be able to create one, but it would take a while." said Raphael.
"Thank you, Raphael. It's nice to have you." thought Rimuru before looking at the others. "Well, don't worry about that. I can create a spell that will allow you to return."
"Really? That's great." said Orihime with a smile.
"We are very grateful to you for that, Lord Rimuru." said Renji bowing in thanks.
"It's nothing. I just couldn't leave you lost in another world with nothing I could do. Though I warn you, it will take me quite a while to get it ready." said Rimuru.
"We don't mind, since we don't know how long it will be until we find those guys." said Uryu.
"Is there anything else you want from us, Lord Rimuru?" asked Rukia.
Rimuru stopped to think what else he needed and that's when he thought of something that might be entertaining.
"Actually, there is something." said Rimuru with a smile.
"What do you want?" asked Ichigo.
"Simple. I want you to have a fight." said Rimuru.
That left everyone in the group confused.
"Huh?" asked the group in unison.
