Ricardo hums, tilting his head as he adjusts a pile of Halloween decorations. "Can you believe it's almost October already?"
Alicia shakes her head, rocking Mariana slowly as she watches him. "No. I also can't believe you're already preparing to decorate. In this weather!" It's rainy, teasing thunderstorms later in the day, and Ricardo tosses a grin her way before getting up and walking over, chuffing Mariana's chin before leaning in to kiss Alicia.
"Schedule wise, it's the only thing that works," he tells her. "I'll be careful."
"Oh," she says dryly, running her fingers through his hair lazily. "No climbing a tree in a downpour?"
"Who tattled on me?" he wonders, leaning into her touch.
She smirks at him. "So are we reusing Andre's pumpkin costume for one of the girls?"
Ricardo laughs. "Do you think he'd mind?"
"Probably not. I'm leaving it to you to find a second baby costume though," she warns him.
He shrugs, lips twitching up into a pleased smile. "I'm sure I'll find something." He kisses Mariana's nose and laughs when she fusses, waving her hands around and blinking up at him. "Ok, ok, my apologies." He turns back to organizing the frankly ridiculous amount of decorations they have, exhaling slowly. "Gonna be a busy month, I also need to figure out Halloween themed events for the wrestling school."
Alicia hums. Wanders up close to him, presses into his shoulder and kisses him lazily. "It'll be fun though."
He nods, tilting his head to look at her. "Yeah. It'll be a lot of fun."
She smiles and winks at him before taking Mariana back to join her sister in nap time, leaving him behind to finish sorting out where their decorations will go around the house, what can be used at the wrestling school. It's a lengthy job but for one of his favorite holidays, he'll do it for as long as it takes until he likes the end result.
