Thanksgiving is nice. The three kids actually handle flying well enough, all things considered. it helps that Sofia, Alicia and he take turns between soothing the twins and keeping Andre occupied. California is warm, and sunny, and the smell of the ocean is obvious as soon as they step out of the airport, and Andre is immediately enamored with all of it.

"He's a California boy, just like his daddy," Alicia teases with an affectionate smile.

Mike is there to pick them up from the airport and as soon as Mike sees Andre, he swoops in and hugs the little boy tightly. "Well, how is my absolute favorite Rodriguez doing?" he asks loudly, making Andre giggle as he clings to him.

"Happy Thanksgiving!" he chirps back, and Mike laughs along with him.

"Well, Happy Thanksgiving to you too. You ready to go play with George and Sara? Monroe and Madison will be joining us later."

"Yes!" Andre says before leaning in closer and whispering (loud enough for all of them to hear, but wide eyed and sincere like they couldn't) "The twins are too tiny to be any fun yet, they just sleep, cry, and stare."

"I know, it's rough, isn't it?" Mike whispers back, tickling him lightly. "Come on, the kids are eager to see you all." He greets Ricardo with a quick hug, offering the same to Alicia and Sofia, before glancing in at the sleeping twins, cooing slightly. "Did they handle the flight ok?"

"Yeah," Ricardo says. "Only had a couple of fussing moments, but they did really well. Becoming old champs at this flying thing already."

Mike chuckles. "Well, probably a good thing, especially if they decide to become second generation, eh? Get the love of travel into them early, that'll make it easier down the road."

Ricardo shrugs. "Maybe, if that's what they want to do. We'll support them, of course."

Alicia nods, smiling a little bit. "Even if they get into fashion, travel would be a decent enough thing for them to get into. Experience more of the world than just what's in their own back yard."

"Something I'd recommend for everyone, no matter what path in life they take," Ricardo muses, remembering India and Egypt and everywhere in between he's been throughout his life. Alicia smiles at him and squeezes his hand.

Thanksgiving is loud, and fun, and ridiculous. Heath, Maryse, John and Taya, even Tamina are all there, laughing and gossiping and reconnecting. Mike and AJ have always been great hosts, and this year is no exception. Ricardo carefully avoids George and Andre as they race around the foyer, Tamina warning both of them to be careful as they slide past in socked feet.

He smiles at her. "How have you been?"

She leans back against the wall and quirks an eyebrow at him. "I've been really well," she says. "Feels like it's been forever since I've actually gotten to talk to you, though."

He nods. "Busy time in our lives, between the twins, and Alicia finally free of her contract to do whatever. And my school."

"I've heard about that, sounds like it's doing really well."

He smiles. "Yeah, I'm proud of the work we're doing there so far. If you ever get the chance, you should come by, check it out sometime. I know you're still contracted to WWE, but we wouldn't do anything to get you in trouble."

She hums. "I know you wouldn't. Heard Mike visited there a little bit ago."

"He did," Ricardo says, smile growing. "It was good to have him."

Tamina nods. "I'll think about it." Then, in the blink of an eye, she swoops down and scoops up George, swinging him up into her arms and making him squeal. "You, young man, are coming with me," she says, ignoring his playful struggles as she carries him upside down into the kitchen.

Ricardo laughs and looks down to find Andre had come over to him, clinging to his pantlegs. "Hey, little man. You having fun?"

"Yes, daddy," Andre says, staring up at him. "Can we do this more often? Come see Uncle Mike and George?"

Ricardo chuckles, leaning down to tug Andre close to him and pressing a quick kiss to his forehead. "Yeah, mi hijo. I would like that as well."
