Ricardo sits, holding an old storage container of things that had somehow survived with him all the way from California. Through Florida, to Texas, and all of the places in between. He taps his fingers against its lid, lost in thought, when the seat next to him shifts. He doesn't need to look over to know, Alicia's warmth flush against his shoulder. "I think I need to bring him back," he says, reaching in and pulling out his old Chimaera mask.
She hums, leaning her head against his arm. "Having problems?"
"Things are getting a little out of control at 3Legacies," he admits. "Someone suggested something... got me to thinking. This might be my best option. It was always easier to let the anger out behind the mask."
Alicia nods. "I understand," she says. "I always did enjoy how much confidence you showed when you competed under it."
"Would it..." He hesitates, licks his lips. "Would it scare you? Or the kids? I don't want to go back to the person I was before, just... I don't know, reclaim some of my authority that I feel like I've lost somehow. You know?"
"I wouldn't be scared," she says honestly. "Because I know you. And the twins won't notice anything. Andre, he doesn't really watch a lot of wrestling yet, so it wouldn't be that difficult to keep it from him. It's entirely up to you and what you feel comfortable with." She grips his jaw and searches his eyes, smiling at him. "Just know that I support whatever you decide."
He nods, staring back at her. "I love you," he says quietly.
"I love you too," she replies, leaning her forehead against his for a few moments before leaning in to kiss him. "It'll all work out. I trust in you."
He smiles at her. "Thank you." He nuzzles into her a little bit and she hums, running her fingers through his hair.
"Gotta get things back under control at the school before the new year right?" She smiles at him.
"Exactly," he laughs. "You know me so well."
"I would hope so," she giggles, leaning into him. "Besides, I think you're handsome with the mask on."
He quirks an eyebrow. "Oh really?"
"You're handsome either way of course," she chuckles. "But like I said, there's a confidence you show under the mask. It impresses me. I love seeing you like that."
"Well, then," he murmurs. "I guess Chimaera is going to make another appearance after all."
She beams at him. "I look forward to seeing it." She kisses him and he nods, holding her close as he kisses her back eagerly.
