Even when you're not in the WWE, the Royal Rumble season is exciting. Younger wrestlers enjoy talking about it, the surprises that may come, debuts and returns and everything in between. Who could start their journey on the road to Wrestlemania, who might be left out in the cold, where it'll leave the title matches on the line in the weeks and months to come. Ricardo enjoys sitting back and listening to their thoughts and ideas, even shares a few of his own, but usually is content just to sit back and let the others debate and discuss. It's a good learning technique for them, he thinks. Wakes their creativity up and sees all of the possibilities in the vast world of wrestling.
Ricardo smiles to himself, thinking about it.
Alicia nuzzles closer to him, poking at his face playfully. "Someone's happy," she teases.
He chuckles. "Yeah, a bit. Just thinking about Royal Rumble. I know I haven't been in the company for ages, but it's still really interesting to think about, and try to guess what's going to happen."
Alicia hums. "Yeah, true," she says. "It can be pretty fun. I don't have as much space from it as you do, but I can see the appeal."
He kisses her fingers lightly. "Yeah, if you don't want to talk about it, I understand. Just let me know."
"No, no, it's fine," she says, brushing her hair over her shoulder. "I like when you get excited and speculative. It's attractive."
He raises an eyebrow at her, pulling her closer. "Attractive, huh?" he teases. "I like the sounds of that."
"So do I," she chuckles, kissing him. "Do you think Andre would enjoy watching the Rumble with us? He's probably old enough to stay up through some of it at least."
"I think so," Ricardo says, lazily trailing his fingers up and down her arm. "If he doesn't like it, we'll figure something else out."
"Good plan," she says, smiling at him. "Let's do it, then. Begin to introduce our children to our passions. That sounds great."
"It does," Ricardo hums, kissing her. "The best part of having kids, right? Imparting knowledge onto the next generation."
"Hell yeah." Alicia smiles and tucks in closer to him.
