Alicia lifts Ricardo's arm over his shoulder, pressing a knee against his leg to manipulate his body in a tough submission. She's a good deal thinner than he is, but he's being malleable for her, giving her the opportunity to remember how to do certain holds and moves that she hasn't had a lot of opportunity to do in awhile.

He ducks his head, breathes in and then dives forward, elbowing her down. As she hits the mat, she swerves to regroup and drop toeholds him back down next to her. He coughs, then chuckles, grabbing her and holding her in a headlock before rolling her towards the middle of the ring.

She knees him in the head and he releases her, getting up on his knees and smirking at her. "Want to do more?"

She shrugs, wiping her hands off on her thighs and shaking her hair out. "Do you?"

"Take five?" he suggests, dropping back down against the mat.

She chuckles. "Yeah, ok," she murmurs, settling in next to him and resting her head on his shoulder. "Still not sure what I'm planning on doing at the end of the month," she muses. "Or if this training is necessary, but it is nice to be back in the ring, doing things. I used to really love it. Kind of lost that for awhile."

He rubs his hand up and down her back, humming. "I'm glad to help you find that again," he says softly, staring up at the ceiling. "I know how it feels to lose that, and also how it feels to regain it. I'm also really thankful you agreed to compete at my event. It's going to be a lot of fun."

She sits up and kisses him. "I think so, too," she says, running her fingers through his hair and smiling down at him. "You know, on second thought, I think we should go home. We can try training again tomorrow. If you want."

"Ok," he says, staring up at her in awe. "Home it is, then."

She winks at him and pulls away, heading for the back to change her clothes back into street wear.

Ricardo takes a couple of minutes, reflecting on how incredibly things are working out for him after so long of it not, before he stands up and goes to join her.
