Ricardo is standing in front of the calendar, making quick notes of bookings and various responsibilities for the children, lost in thought as he pauses over one of the dates, a marker in hand.

Alicia tilts her head, watching him for a few moments, before walking up behind him and wrapping an arm around his chest. "What's up?" she asks, kissing the back of his neck.

"Hm? Oh, hey," he says, resting his hand on her forearm. He stares at the calendar for a moment longer before turning to look at her. "Didn't hear you come in."

"No," she says with a small smile. "Is the calendar that fascinating?"

He shrugs. "I guess I was just thinking," he says. "Ten years ago, things were so different. I really didn't know if I'd ever make it any further in the wrestling business. Everything was just... stalled out for me. I couldn't get WWE to take me seriously, I didn't see an easy path on the indy scene. It was all going so badly. Now look at me."

She smiles, lacing her arms around his neck. "Now you have your own company, you're in a really good place with MLW, and I'd say things are pretty damn good."

"They are," he says, resting his hands on her hips. "But more importantly than that, I have you and the kids. You know you're what gave me the strength to keep fighting to find a place for myself."

"Yeah," she says softly, stroking her thumbs over his lips. "You know I feel the same way. Without you always supporting me, I wouldn't have had the strength to leave WWE behind and try to find my own path too."

He smiles at her and leans in, kissing her. "I'm happy I could inspire you," he says softly. "But you always had the strength to do it yourself. I was only a very minor part in your decision."

She wrinkles her nose and hugs him closer. "I dunno," she teases him. "You seemed like a pretty pivotal part of it to me."

He smirks a little, running his hands up and down her back. "Alright, I"ll believe you," he says with a chuckle. "I just hope our kids can find their own happiness like we did."

"I'm sure they will," she says. "Might take some time, but we'll have their backs through all of it."

"Damn straight we will," he agrees, kissing her.
