27. Chapter 27

27 Second Base.

"I am far from done with it though, the stairs are not done yet, the bathrooms, kitchen, and workshop need work, and all the rooms need lighting and heating. Then the furniture, and are we going to hire staff to manage the mansion or are we going to do all the work?"

Elena looked calculating at the building, "It is too big for us to do all of it ourselves, letting a cleaning crew come over will take too long to get here. Lord Seiji, you need to build servant quarters, a separate building so they have privacy. With room for twenty servants."

Lela nodded: "That might be best, normally the servant quarters are in the basement or attic, giving them separate quarters prevents them from feeling isolated here. It is a two-day travel to the nearest village."

Nancy added: "So singles or older married couples with adult children or couples without kids," she explained, "It is too isolated here for kids, they need interaction with other children to grow up healthy."

Elena sighed: "Or we hire only children, Nancy. A lot of children leave home at twelve or thirteen to release the burden on their parents, or they look for a job to help raise their siblings. Most end up as adventurers if there isn't a job free with their family. Third and fourth sons and daughters, even from the Nobles face that fate."

Nancy hugged her: "I keep forgetting this is a different world, you are right, Elena. Maybe you can mix it up, a few experienced ones and a bunch of young ones."

"I will need another day to finish the building, why don't we get Lunch at Minya and come back to work on the details, you can practice on your [Earth Magic]"

At Minya's food stall, we met Kacha and Inari, surrounded by the workers of the Sugar plant, while the girls were catching up, I got beside Minya and helped her with preparing the dishes, her food stall became too popular and attracted a big crowd.

"Kacha!" I called out, "Ask your crew for someone interested in cooking, I will train him or her, so they can cook meals at the plant."

Inari came with two girls about twelve years old, "This is Manon, and Radera, Master Seiji, both are quite skilled in boiling the Sugar juice and are willing to learn."

I created a table next to the food stall, and a set of cooking gear added both and Minya to the [Hero Party], and started my lecture, "Stand next to me girls, we are going to prepare the ingredients for Minya. Today is Club sandwich on the menu, so we start with cleaning the vegetables, like this…"

With three helpers the process sped up, and the line went shorter, I continued lecturing, from how to clean vegetables to hygiene, and preparation. When the last customer was served, both girls got [Cooking] Level 2. Minya is close to Level 5, she was glad with the help, and any lecture of me is raising her understanding of her job.

Crap, I forgot myself. I took some flying fish, cleaned and gutted it, and made fillets from them, a quick grill, along with fresh vegetables and a sauce made it a tasty Sandwich. I let the girls practice getting fillets from the Flying Fish. They taste like salmon but are way bigger. While I was eating, my lecture continued, I explained all the different ways to prepare that fish, knowing Minya has a lot of them in her [Storage Bracelet], lastly I explained how to make Stock and Fish soup from the leftovers and fish bones.

"I have to go now, Manon, Radera, help Minya clean up her stall. She will be teaching you when I am not here until she considers you good enough to cook alone. Discuss a timetable with Inari, Kacha, and Aria. Minya, you are progressing fast, I am proud of you and your little helpers Mica and Ronda."

Aria was talking to the girls when I approached, "As you said, Princess Elena, just listening to his lecture is raising our cooking skills, Master Seiji is a great teacher."

"I am ready to go back, sorry that it took so long," I said when I got closer.

"We will come for them next week," Said Lela, "There is still much to be done."

We ported back to the Second Base and continued our work.

While the girls were outside experimenting, I created showers on the top floor, each bedroom got a bathroom connected with the classical setup. The kitchen was fun to do, combining Magic with technology made it a beauty. Outside, all three made progress with heir [Earth Magic], a concrete road to the entrance of the valley proved it, wide enough for a horse wagon to travel on.

"Excellent work," I praised them, "One more detail though, you have to make expansion joints every 10 yards, concrete expands and shrinks depending on the weather, and without those joints, the concrete will deform."

Nancy blushed: "I completely forgot that, but, we are proud of our road. Is it time to go home already?"

I nodded: "School is out, and the kids are on the way home."

We arrived home just before the kids, while the girls went to the penthouse, I eliminated the Chinese men that were posted around our building. I am curious how many more men they have, I mean, I almost killed 100 men, somewhere they have to realize that it is not worth the effort.

I saw Hilda and her crew enter the building and watched who was paying attention to them, my [Vigilance] did not react, with a last look around, I followed them in.

"Hold the elevator!" I called out, "Thank you, Hilda, how was your day?"

"It was fine, Brother Seiji, my grades in the practical courses are improving." Smiled Hilda at me.

Reina added: "She forgot to tell you she is top of our year in the Theoretical courses, even in English and Japanese. Our professors still can't believe that she is at college level with both languages."

Minato commented: "That is not a surprise with a brother like Seiji San. Didn't you hear Yurie San yesterday? Seiji San knows a dozen languages and is a great teacher. No wonder that Hilda Chan is so good at it."

"I am glad it is the weekend, and I don't need to go to cramschool anymore," sighed Himari, "my grades improved enough, and my parents need the money for other things."

We put our slippers on, I took a fast shower, and asked, "An early or a late dinner?"

Aya said: "A late dinner, we can finish our assignment first."

Agreement from all around, meh, I will meditate for a bit, and check my beacons, a lot of them are in the room, the stewardesses… no action, bummer. The Devilkin… A war party? Where? Heading for Dragonkin village… let's rewind to see where they came from… a cave with that one-way portal statue… Hmm, that is for tomorrow.

Kacha and Inari came home, "We are almost set for the Paper Mill, Master Seiji," Said Kacha, "It is time to get the equipment. The Sugar plant is running fine. So is the [Candy] production, we are making a profit already."

Haruto asked: "Kacha San? To make a profit making Sugar and Candy, you have to compete with big factories, how can you manage to make a profit? To make a profit with a Paper Mill is only possible if you automate your production completely. Are you taking risks to start those factories up? We learned about developers that are fooling investors to put their money into phantom companies, and disappear with their money."

Rin commented: "Haruto has a point, Kacha San, Sugar, Candy, and Paper production is so much industrialized that small companies can't compete, or they have to form a cooperative."

Yuki asked: "Where is your Candy factory, Kacha San? I would like to visit it, I study Management, and maybe I can give some pointers."

The kids all said the same, visiting a candy factory should be fun. One by one they all looked at Elena, Elena looked at me, I shrugged.

Elena took a good look around and asked: "How good are you at keeping secrets? I mean world-changing secrets?"

Ringo remarked: "Not our world-changing but theirs, and this home. If this secret comes out, we have to move away."

"We are keeping, Hilda San's secrets already. A few more will not hurt us," said Reina.

At Hilda's puzzled face, Himari chuckled, "Hilda Chan, no matter how you isolate it, taking a steaming hot Bento out of your book bag is not normal, more so when I accidentally tipped your book bag over and put it back up, there was no Bento inside."

Minato added: "We knew you would tell us eventually after a couple of months. This speeds it up."

"Do you remember when we said that we are in the [Hero Party]?" Asked Aya, "Elena and Lela the Commanders, and Seiji the Leader? What if that was true?"

Haruto asked: "Like in a game?"

Lela raised her fist and called: "Armor one!" her outfit changed, and before the stunned kids stood Iron Wall Lela. "Common 4!" changed her back into her original clothes.

Nancy stood up, raised her fist, and called: "Change! Armor one!"

Slack-jawed, they saw Nancy change into a smoking hot Japanese woman with bikini armor.

Minato came to his senses: "I remember you from the cosplay fair! You, a Kitsune and a Nekomata!…"

"That would be us, Minato, San," said Inari when she removed her [Stone of Human Transformation +3] so did Kacha.

Inari was mighty impressive with her seven tails, so was Kacha with her Jaguar coloring.

Yuki carefully asked: "All of you?"

Yurie giggled; "No, Yuki. Seiji, Aya, Ringo, Nancy, Me, and three-quarters of Mai are from this world. Seiji is the Hero who was summoned to their world, we have been over there regularly. We even cleared a dungeon."

Aya nodded: "Everyone, may I present you Princess Elena Delaidos, her adopted little sister Hilda Delaidos' future Court Magician. The future commander of Delaidos' army, Iron Wall Lela, The future Leaders of Beast Country Inari and Kacha, and the future minister of Commerce, Lydia."

Tsumugi dryly commented: "That is a bigger secret than a hot Bento I might say, if not for Kacha and Inari, I would never believed it. Nancy San's trick would convince me too."

Reina looked at Hilda: "Future Court Magician?"

Hilda nodded and conjured a [Fireball] in one hand and a [Water Ball] in the other, "I am good with Magic said Brother Seiji." and she let the Balls disappear.

"Can we learn that too?" asked Himari.

Hilda shrugged: "In our world, you can, but you have to quit your competition here. You become too strong and would expose yourself. That is why I don't do any sports."

Yuki gasped: "We can learn Magic skills? Like the ones from the games?"

Aya copied Hilda and let a [Fire Ball] and [Water Ball] appear in her hands, "Yes, you can, but there is a catch to it, it will bind you to us, to the [Hero Party]."

Elena added, "It will make you part of our family."

Haruto looked at all the girls and asked, "You mean a part of Seiji San's Harem, Elena San?"

Elena nodded: "For Rin, Tsumugi, and Yuki, yes. I have not thought of a solution for the four of you. You are too young for a relationship, and with two males in it I doubt it will work out."

"Hilda can form her own party with them," I suggested, "Her level is high enough, and she is of an age children from Delaidos are venturing off on their own."

I frowned while thinking deeply, "I think I can create a [Magic Contract], that will bind them together and prevent spilling their secrets to others. We could use them for Rin, Yuki, and Tsumugi too."

I looked at the seven and said: "Or we forget about it all and do what we have been doing these last weeks, study and have a good time."

Elena suggested: "Show them what Delaidos is like, Lord Seiji, first, give them a [Stone of Language acquisition +3], so they can understand what is said."

Aya cheered: "Yes! That is the first step, guys, you are going to love this one."

When all of them had their translation stone equipped, I projected the lunch break we just had and my cooking class.

Haruto asked: "Can you show why the penguins were good XP according to Hilda San?"

I smiled and showed how Hilda went berserk with her [Fire Whip] on those penguins. Her four friends were watching with their mouths wide open, that soft friendly Hilda, looking awesome in her armor, changed into a furious Goddess and caused death and mayhem to those penguins.

Reina nervously giggled; "Remind me to never make you angry at me, Hilda Chan, I might not survive it."

Hilda hugged her, "Even when I am mad at you, I will never harm you, Reina Chan. Besides Brother Seiji and the [Hero Party] and the children from the church, you are the only true friends I have."

Ringo suggested: "Elena? Why don't we take them on a weekend trip to Delaidos? We can tell our folks we go on a nature trip where there is no Cell Phone connection, Minato, Haruto, Himari, and Reina need to ask permission from their parents, tell them the trip is paid for by Seiji, to keep Hilda company."

That suggestion took hold, soon everyone had permission from their parents or told them they were out of reach for the weekend. A round on the [Mana Crystal Fragment] gave them their first MP, all of them got [Information Magic] Level 1 Rarity ****.

All of them had Search, Yuki gained Trade on top of it, Rin and Tsumugi got [Unarmed Combat] level 2 added, and Minato and Himari [Kendo] Level 4 and [Two-Handed Sword Skill] Level 4.

We handed the four [Magic Spell Stone] and explained the use, targeting my [Barrier] they gained Fire, Water, Wind, and Earth Magic. Next came the [Magic Stone of Transformation +3] to store their clothes, and a [Bracelet of Storage] for the loot. Lastly, a [Magic Stone of Appraisal], Yuki showed why she is good friends with Aya when she raised her fist in the air and shouted: "Transform"! And ended up butt naked.

Rin chuckled: "Aren't you a bit eager to show your candy to the boy's eyes, Yuki San? I must compliment you on your nice figure though."

Yuki panicked and shouted "Transform!" again. Relieved, she felt her clothes back on her body, she looked at Minato and Haruto, and with a chilly voice she said: "There will be no jokes or teasing about this if you know what is good for you."

With a glazed look in their eyes, the boys slowly shook their heads, their first life naked girl was a pretty College girl! Full front and right in front of them! They were brought back from their mental breakdown by Himari and Reina when they slapped the back of their heads.

Reina said: "They will not say one word about it, Yuki San, they saw what Hilda Chan can do with that Whip."

Minato and Haruto shivered, Minato said: "Not one word, Big Sister Yuki."

Elena had to get them back on track, "Use Magic in our world, and try to avoid using it here, exposing it to the outside world is too dangerous, even telling your parents about it can cause harm."

As my final action, I added them to my [Hero Party], then I handed [Magic Stone of Teleport +3], "When you activate this Stone, it will [Teleport] you to the apartment one floor below, it will speed up travel time, but make sure there are no camera's or no one is looking from where you depart."

The four kids went home for a change of clothes, the college girls decided to spend the night there.

That evening Aya decided on a slumber party, Yurie and Mai were all for it, Ringo too, she never had one of those and wanted to try it out. Nancy asked: "Are those the same as from the US? With the same games?"

Aya shrugged: "I don't know, what games did you do in the US?"

Nancy summed them up, "The truth or Dare, Spin the bottle, the Drinking variety of Spin the Bottle, card, and board games like Poker and monopoly, once I did Strip Poker, some drinking games."

Elena commented: "We need to keep it proper with Hilda in our group, so child-friendly games, please.

I said: "I have to prepare for tomorrow, I will be back in two hours, have fun."

I whispered in Elena's ear: "There are some Devilkin that need some attention, they are at the Dragonkin Village. It won't take long."

Elena nodded: "Kacha, Inari, go with Lord Seiji, it will be beneficial for you both."

I took the girl's hands and [Teleport] to the Devilkin statue, there were six statues. With an evil grin, Inari and Kacha used [Electrolysis] to turn all the statues to dust.

"Gear up, girls, we are going to face a Devilkin Warband, I will scout them out first," I told them.

It was the first time I remotely controlled my beacon and followed the path the Warband took to where they are now. At the warband, I searched for any slaves or prisoners in their camp, apparently, they were at the start of their campaign, no slaves, no prisoners.

"Kacha, Inari, these are all for you, all XP will go to the both of you, I will guard your back, show me what you have learned." with this pep-talk I [Teleport] into the Camp and set a [Barrier Dome] up.

Kacha and Inari showed their teamwork by combining their Magic into a [Fire Tornado] with [Earth Magic] added.

The Tornado raged through the camp with a vengeance, burning everything in its path, when I added my [Wind Magic] to the Tornado, it doubled in size. I heard the Mechanical voice say: [Wind Magic] is at Level 5.

The Devilkin were caught with their pants down, they never expected an attack from the middle of their camp and had to see how that [Fire Tornado] burned through their supplies and soldiers. Before they could react, half of their camp was up in flames. The ones that managed to put an [Anti Magic Shield] up were blasted away by the pebbles from the Tornado.

At halfway through their MP, they let the tornado run its course and took their swords out, coated with [Wind Edge] the girls got in action. What followed was a slaughter, the swords cut through the Devilkin as if they were straw puppets, any [Anti Magic shield] got penetrated with a hail of pebbles.

The Devilkin saw that the battle was lost and retreated back to the cave, chased by us. By the time they reached the cave and spotted the missing statues, their number was down to a couple of hundred, I tagged some of the leaders when they activated their [Magic Stone of Return].

Kacha and Inari showed no mercy at all and mowed them down to the last Devil. Panting, they looked around, searching for stragglers. I commented: "You got them all, congratulations, you went up from Level 49 to Level 61. Shower first, you are all bloody and grime.

I took my portable shower out and enjoyed the view of two naked Beastkin doing their best to show me their best side, you know, dropping the soap… No, that is not an inmate exclusive! "Master Seiji? There is a spot on my back I can not quite reach, can you help us?"

Who can refuse something like that? Twenty minutes later we were clean and satisfied. We put our clothes on and ported back home.

We arrived and saw Rin, Tsumugi, and Yuki stare at me with wide eyes, and Aya, Mai, and Yurie grinning at me. Elena asked me: "Lord Seiji, did you know that Nancy had [Tracking] Magic and that she put a Beacon on you?"

Aya chuckled: "The fight was fine, the shower was awesome, it got me in the mood, and I bet everyone else too."

I spotted Hilda, "Did you watch too, Hilda?"

Blushing she nodded, she said, "Before Brother Seiji saved me, they made me watch them, to train me for next year. Then I had to do it for extra money."

Elena hugged her, "Those days are over, little sister. Now you are a powerful Magician and in control of your own life. Nobody is going to force you to do anything you don't want. That is why I allowed you to keep watching."

Hilda nodded: "I know, I am going to bed now, good night everyone, have fun."

Aya sighed, "You have to love Hilda, she is too cute and smart. Seiji, get naked, you have a room full of horny girls."

I raised an eyebrow, "Rin? Tsumugi? Yuki? What about you three?"

Yuki smiled: "I wanted to jump you after I tasted your first Bento, after meeting you, I wanted you more, even when I have to share."

Rin nodded, "Last night, Aya, Mai, and Yurie praised your skill into the high heavens, watching you just now did it for me."

Tsumugi said: "Get naked, Seiji San."

The next morning, I did my usual cleanup by removing the Chinese Maffiosi and waited for the four kids to port in.

When everyone was ready, I handed bags filled with Aurums to the new girls and kids, "Ten thousand Aurums, for you to spend or keep. We [Teleport] to our Second Base to learn new spells and to control your magic.
